"I am Sahloknir! Hear my voice and despair!" Sahloknir says in an arrogant tone as he starts flying and releases a blast of fire upon the group.
"Look out!" Vardall dodges the fire by rolling to the side. He quickly removes his greatsword from his back as he recovers. He could see Delphine and Lydia trying to hit Sahloknir with arrows, while Sofia tried with spells. Lucien, on the other hand, was too scared to do something.
"This is all a nightmare... This is all a nightmare... This is all a nightmare..." He kept repeating that to himself, almost as a sort of motto. Lucien wasn't a warrior, he never was. It was obvious he was too scared with the dragon to act correctly.
Getting tired of that, Sahloknir promptly lands right upon where Delphine, Lydia and Sofia were. All the women managed to dodge in time, avoiding the dragon. But while all her recovered, Sahloknir focused his attention on Lucien, who was quite close to him now.
"Lucien!" Vardall notices that and immediately starts running in Lucien's direction. But even running as fast as he can, he wouldn't be able to save Lucien at time, as he could see Sahloknir was about to blast him with fire, and Lucien was paralyzed by fear.
"Wuld!" Using the first word of the Whirlwind Sprint to move quickly, Vardall manages to reach Lucien in time. He stands the closest to Lucien he can and quickly summons a Shimmering Shield around them, at the same time Sahloknir releases his fire breath upon both of them. Vardall focuses his whole mana in that shield, in order to resist Sahloknir's fire. When Sahloknir stops releasing fire, Vardall undos his Shimmering Shield and promptly takes his greatsword and prepares a spell, ready to face Sahloknir and defend Lucien.
But before Sahloknir could do anything, Lydia, Delphine and Sofia were back on their feet and returned to attack the dragon. That distracted Sahloknir and, as he looked back, Vardall fired several lightning bolts at him. He roars and looks back to where Vardall and Lucien were, with rage in his eyes. But he's only able to Vardall take Lucien to a more safe place. Sahloknir tries to attack them with fire, but Lydia, Delphine and Sofia intensify their attacks on him, so he decides to let Vardall and Lucien go and fully focus on the women's group.
Taking Lucien with him, Vardall goes to a big rock nearby and hides behind it. He places Lucien with his back against the rock.
"Lucien! Calm down!" He was totally nervous and scared, obviously he had never been through a situation such as this. Vardall shakes Lucien a bit stronger to make him focus on him, that works and Lucien calms himself a little and focuses on Vardall's worried face.
"You're okay?" Vardall asked. Lucien only shakes his head.
"I... I... don't know if I can do this..." Lucien was breathing heavily. "Animals and bandits are one thing, but a dragon!? No, I..."
"Hey, calm down." Vardall says. "Look, It's completely normal to be scared, I already passed through a similar situation." Vardall still remembers his first time fighting the Darkspawn, the fear he felt. He even felt fear during his Joining, after he saw Daveth and Ser Jory deaths. "But you can never let your fear dominate you, mainly in situations like this."
Lucien looks to calm down a little with Vardall's words, but not entirely.
"Look... If you don't want to risk yourself, it is totally good for me. Just stay safe and let me and the girls take care of that dragon. You can do this?" Lucien nods and Vardall smiles.
"Ok. Keep yourself safe, I'm going to kill that lizard." They both still could hear the battle near them. Lydia was distracting Sahloknir to Delphine and Sofia attacked him. Seeing that the dragon was distracted, Vardall takes his greatsword and runs into Sahloknir's direction. He was focused on attacking Lydia and the other girls, and that was the perfect moment for Vardall to attack.
Getting close to Sahloknir, Vardall quickly climbed on the dragon's back, near his tail. Sahloknir obviously fell Vardall and started flying, trying to take Vardall down from up him. Vardall manages to hold himself upon the dragon, and when he gets a chance, he strikes Sahloknir's back. The dragon roars in pain and shakes himself even more, trying to take Vardall down from it's back, but Vardall uses his greatsword as a support, holding himself and not going down. At this moment, he has an idea. He tightly holds his greatsword and prepares himself.
"Wuld!" Using once again the Whirlwind Sprint shout, Vardall dash forward while strongly holding his greatsword. The speed and strength combined cut Sahloknir's back and even a part of his neck, and everyone watched as the great dragon roared in heavy pain. Vardall held himself in Sahloknir, but luckily the dragon had started to fall because of the damage he suffered. Once he was relatively close to the ground, Vardall jumped off his back and rolled when he hit the ground, cushioning his fall. But that didn't stop Vardall, as he quickly got up off the ground, focused a great amount of mana on his hands and attacked Sahloknir with a strong combination of lightning and fire.
Sahloknir roars even more. He already had several wounds from his battle against Lydia, Delphine and Sofia. The wounds Vardall caused on him, plus the strong and constant damage he was taking from Vardall spells right on his face and part of his body was enough to him. Roaring a last time, Sahloknir succumbs to the ground, dead.
"I'll be damned. You did it!" Delphine was truly surprised by this. Vardall stops casting his spells. He was feeling a little bit tired, but nothing too concerning.
"You haven't seen anything yet." Sofia said to Delphine. She was a little confused for a moment, but soon something happened that called her attention. Sahloknir's flesh started to burn alone.
"Wait... Something's happening... Gods above!" Delphine only watched as the dragon body turned only into bones, and his soul started to exit the dead body and go to Vardall.
"So you truly are..." Delphine was speechless with such a thing happening upon her eyes. Lucien felt the same way, as he exited his hideout and approached the group. Vardall absorbed the dragon soul, once again being filled by knowledge, and also learning the meaning of the word he learned in Ustengrav, Feim, with means, in an irony that made Vardall laugh, fade. With this new word, Vardall would be able to turn his body into a spectral appearance, becoming immune to any type of damage.
"This would be useful back thereā¦" Vardall murmur.
Delphine still was a little shocked by such an event, but even so she approached Vardall together with Lydia and Sofia. Lucien approached from the other side. "I owe you some answers, don't I? Go ahead. Whatever you want to know. Nothing held back."
Finally, time for some answers. "Who are you and what do you want with me?" Not just Vardall, but all his friends were paying very attention to Delphine's next words. They all wanted answers.
"I'm one of the last members of the Blades. A very long time ago, the Blades were dragonslayers, and we served the Dragonborn, the greatest dragonslayer. For the last two hundred years, since the last Dragonborn emperor, the Blades have been searching for a purpose. Now that dragons are coming back, our purpose is clear again. We need to stop them."
The Blades. Vardall knew very little about them, but he knew they're recognised through all Tamriel as the protectors of the Septim emperors, who also had dragon blood, such as him.
"The Blades, huh? I bet your existence doesn't please the Thalmor." Vardall said it as a little joke. Delphine sighs. "Truly no. We're old enemies."
"I know, I read about that." Vardall quickly said. "So... what do you know about the dragons coming back?"
"Not a damn thing. I was just as surprised as you to find that big black dragon here. You said he was the same who attacked Helgen?" Delphine asked. Vardall nods in confirmation.
"Yes, it was him. I will never forget him. But... my biggest concern now is who that black dragon probably is."
"Who?" His words called not only Delphine's, but all his friends' attention.
Vardall sights. "I think that dragon might be Alduin."
That dropped like a bomb on everyone. The return of Alduin, The World-Eater, who's destined to bring the end of this world. Everyone there, with no exceptions, was scared now.
"What?" Delphine didn't want to believe. "Are... you sure of that?"
"No. Not at all. But that dragon Sahloknir called him like that. And something tells me it's true."
"This is worse than I thought..." Delphine said. "If we're really dealing with the World-Eater, there's only one man that can help us."
That caught Vardall and everyone's attention. "Who?" Lydia asked.
"Esbern. Another member of The Blades. His knowledge about the dragons is bigger than all of us together. We need him."
"Then let's go to him." Sofia said and Vardall agreed.
Delphine sighs. "It's not that easy. I know he's in Skyrim, but I don't know where."
"Shit." Vardall said. "So we're at a dead end? Finding one single man in a place like Skyrim will take years.
Delphine nods her head in a negative way. "Maybe not. See, the Thalmor has been hunting the remaining members of The Blades since the end of the Great War. Maybe they have some information that can lead us to Esbern."
"Are you sure of that?" Lucien asked.
"No. But it's our best chance to find Esbern."
Vardall had his doubts about this, "But how do you suggest for us to take this information? I bet the Thalmor will not just deliver nicely."
"Any information the Thalmor have it's probably guarded in the Thalmor Embassy. Problem is, that place is locked up tighter than a miser's purse. They could teach me a few things about paranoia..."
Vardall giggles a little with Delphine's words. "And I bet if they discover us, they will destroy all the information." He says and Delphine nods in confirmation. "Yes. So we need another way to enter."
"How are we going to do that?" Sofia asked. Delphine sighs. "I don't know. We don't have any chance to invade now."
"So what do you suggest? Wait until an opportunity shows up?" Lydia asks while she crosses her arms.
"Maybe. I will work on a way to enter that place silently. Until there, well... there's nothing we can do."
Vardall sighs. "Then I guess we're over here." Delphine nods. "For now. I'll recommend all of you to stay quiet until I have a plan. When I do that, I'll contact you."
Then Delphine starts to walk away. "Keep an eye on the sky. This is only going to get worse." Delphine then walks away back to Riverwood, leaving Vardall and his friends behind.
As soon Delphine was quite away, Vardall turned to Lucien.
"Lucien, we need to talk."
Lucien sighs, he already knew what Vardall wanted to talk about. "You don't need to..."
Vardall then raises his hand, as a signal for Lucien to stop talking. "Listen, Lucien... Like I said before, it's totally normal to feel fear, I already felt this several times during my life. The problem lies when you let your fear consume you, just as happened to you." He said in a calm tone, making sure Lucien was listening to every word he said.
"You almost died because your fear consumed you. If it wasn't for me, you'd be dead by now. I'm not angry with you, I bet none of us are, I'm only asking for you to have a better control over your emotions during a battle, to not let them overwhelm you." Vardall spoke with such naturality that surprised both Lydia and Sofia.
"If you need help with anything, do not fear to seek help from me, and even Lydia and Sofia. I am right, girls?" Vardall looked to Lydia and Sofia, seeking their answers.
"But of course. You can ask for my help anytime." Lydia said. "The same with me." Sofia answered after.
Vardall smiled. "See? You're not alone here in Skyrim, you can always count on us."
Vardall then put one hand on Lucien's shoulder. "Understood?"
Lucien's anxiety and fear were replaced by relief and confidence. He smiles as he nods his head. "Yes, I... I understand. Thanks, all of you."
Vardall's smile grows even bigger as he gives Lucien a friendly pat on his shoulder. "That's what I like to hear."
"I must say, those meditations you made with Arngeir surely had results." Sofia says. Vardall giggles a little with her words. "Agreed. He has helped me a lot during this last month."
"Well, we have time to kill until Delphine makes a plan. What should we do?" Lydia asked.
"First, we'll give back the horn of Jurgen Windcaller to the Greybeards. After that..." Vardall shrugged. "No idea."
Sofia thinks for a minute, until she remembers something. "Hey, Vardall. Remember that orc who said a vampire hunters group was looking for recruits? How about we take a look?"
"Hmm..." Vardall thinks. "Yeah, why not? He said they're in an old fort near Riften, right?"
Sofia nods and smiles. "Yes."
"Then it's decided."
"Vampire hunters group?" Lydia and Lucien were confused with what Vardall and Sofia were saying.
"Long story. I'll explain on the way. Come on, we need to deliver this horn to the Greybeards." Vardall said.
"Then let's move." Lucien said as all of them started to walk back to High Hrothgar.

THEDAS
The sun still was rising upon the Valence Cloister in Orlais. Normally, Leliana would feel comfortable and completely at peace in such a scenario, but that was not the case anymore. She went here looking for a spiritual refuge, and she knew Mother Dorothea would gladly receive her. Looking outside the window of her room, she had tears falling from her eyes. She thought that spending some time here would help her, at least, relieve the heavy burden she had on her shoulders, but she was wrong. Her heart still was full of guilt and sorrow, all feelings caused by her own actions.
Almost two months have already passed. Two months since Leliana betrayed the man she loved more than anything.
"Good morning my child, how are you feeling today?" A female voice gently questions Leliana. She knew who it was: Mother Dorothea, a very special person to her. But even so, Leliana didn't even bother to answer. Mother Dorothea sighs when she doesn't receive an answer. She then goes to her and puts a hand on one of Leliana's shoulders.
"Still thinking about him?" Preoccupation could be heard in Dorothea's voice. Since the incident two months ago, Leliana has changed. Since she arrived, Leliana barely eats or sleeps, spending most of her time alone, always crying or lost In thoughts.
Leliana sighs and clears the falling tears from her eyes. "I think about him all the time." She lets out a dry laugh. "Everytime I try to sleep, I see his face looking at me, judging me, his expression always dominated by deception, negation and even anger."
Dorothea closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "It was young Amell's own decisions that led him down a path of violence and death. There is no one to blame here but himself."
"I'm not so sure about that anymore." Leliana turns herself and looks to Dorothea. "When Vardall told me about all the abuses he and other mages suffered inside the Circle Tower in Templars hands, I always thought he was exaggerating, but now... Vardall always was full of not just anger, but hate, for both the Chantry and the Templars. I'm starting to think now he had a reason for that..."
"The Templars and the Circles exist to protect not just us from mages, but to protect mages from us." Dorothea said. "But I admit that even a blind person can see what some Templars do with mages."
"If I had paid more attention, if I had helped him more, perhaps this could be avoided. Vardall told me if this continues this way, a war between Templars and Mages is inevitable." Leliana says in a nervous tone. "Day after day, I'm starting to think he was right."
"Let us leave this in the Maker's hands, and pray something like that never happens."
Leliana gives another dry laugh. "I don't know if the Maker can solve this..."
Dorothea grows concerned with Leliana's last words, but quickly abandons that feeling. She knew Leliana. She knew she was now a devoted Andrastian that would never doubt the Maker.
...Right?
But in any case, Dorothea moves away from Leliana a little. "Rest a little more, my child. You know it's necessary to take care of yourself now more than ever. For your and the little one's sake."
"I know..."
Leliana puts her hands upon her belly, a little bigger now on her pregnancy, completing three months today. That was a fact that broke Leliana's heart even more. Here she was, carrying her and Vardall's child...
A child who would never meet the father.

TAMRIEL
Vardall walks up abruptly inside his rented room on Dead Man's Drink in Falkreath.
Nightmares still haunted him, memories of his actions. The voices, the screams... All of this was carved in his mind, and rare were the nights when he didn't suffer because of that. Knowing he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, Vardall gets up from his bed, wears his armor and exits his room.
It still was night by now, and the rain could be heard outside. Vardall and his friends made their way out of Riverwood, in the direction of High Hrothgar again. They all stopped in Falkreath to rest for the night. Speaking of which, Lucien, Lydia and Sofia were probably still sleeping in their rooms, as they were nowhere to be found.
Sitting on a table, Vardall decides to eat something. He takes some bread and cheese, but before he could eat, he felt a hand touching his shoulder.
"Excuse me, sir... Can I talk with you?" A female voice said. Turning around to see who it was, Vardall saw a quite beautiful imperial woman, wearing simple clothes and looking at him.
"Can I help you with something?"
The woman smiles. "Yes, actually. I... uhh... lost a necklace and I wish to know if you can help me find it."
Vardall lifts one of his eyebrows. "A necklace?"
She nods. "Yes. It's a family heirloom, very dear to me. Could you help me, please?"
"I can see why you want it back..." Vardall knew very well how a simple object could mean a lot to someone. A gift from a loved one, a memory of a dear person gone long ago... He already had something like that. It was a necklace that Leliana gave to him as a gift, called Alindra's Tears. She gave it to him some time after she told him the story of Alinda, and Vardall the gesture by giving her the necklace he received after his Joining to the Grey Wardens. Later when they started their relationship, he gave to her yet another gift, this time a blue orlesian ring that Bodahn found to him and that Sandal enchanted with Lyrium.
He had all these items in his procession after his confrontation with Leliana, as she abandoned her necklace and the ring and he took them. But that wasn't with him now since they three disappeared together with his Grey Warden armor and Starfang greatsword once he was carried away by a mysterious figure and woke up on The Nest.
"Sure, I can help you." The woman sighs relieved. "Thank you very much, sir!"
Vardall smiles. "No problem. Where did you lose your necklace?"
"It's very close. Follow me."
Vardall follows the woman outside the Inn. The rain still was falling, something Vardall found comforting. The sensation of rain falling upon him was always relaxing.
"Is this way, come on." She says and Vardall follows. She was guiding him to the back of the Inn, something Vardall found a little strange, but not enough to head back and leave. Even so, he kept his eyes opened and paid more attention to his surroundings, just in case.
"I lost it here, can you see it?" She says and Vardall starts to search. "I don't see anything."
"Just keep looking a little more... Please..." Vardall started not to like this the moment they went here, but the way the woman talked... He should have suspected this could be an ambush. He tried to quickly turn around and fire a spell on the woman, but she was more quick. She hits his face with a punch and after that with a kick. That didn't make Vardall pass out, but made him fall on the ground and be disoriented for some seconds.
"Sorry love, nothing personal. I just need to relieve you of your coin." She quickly steals Vardall's bag of coins. "Take care!"
As he returns to his full senses, Vardall can hear the woman running away.
"Bitch..." Vardall quickly gets up, putting his hand on his head. Feeling a little better now, he saw the woman's footprints on the ground before the rain made them all disappear. He quickly runs on the same direction the woman go, even leaving Falkreath. A little up on the road, however, he sees the same woman who robbed him surrounded by five Falkreath guards, all with their swords and shields ready for anything.
"You have committed crimes against Skyrim and her people. What say you in your defense?" The leader of the guards asks the woman.
The woman was quite desperate. Being caught obviously wasn't on her plans. "I'm telling you, this is all a mistake!"
All of them turn their attention as they see Vardall arriving. The woman seems to get even more nervous. The leader of the guards there takes Vardall's coin bag from the woman and delivers it back to him.
"I think this is yours." The guard returns Vardall his money. "Thanks. But this is all a mistake, she's with me."
Vardall's words surprise the woman and leave some of the guards confused. "Do you expect me to believe that?" The guard leader, however, wasn't very convinced.
"She has done nothing wrong, I assure you." Persuasion and intimidation were always some of Vardall's best skills, as he developed them very well during his years on the Circle Tower and during the Blight. With his good appearance, charm and using some of the bard techniques Leliana taught him, such as acting in a more charismatic and trustworthy way, he could easily persuade people, and if that doesn't work... Well, he can always use his height, muscles and magic to intimidate even the toughest person.
Vardall's words were able to convince the guard. "Hmm... I don't like this, but I will look the other side this time." The guard lay down his sword and shield. The other guards were still a little confused, but did the same. "All of you, let's go!" With that order, all the guards went back to Falkreath.
The woman was very confused. When all the guards already were very far, she went until Vardall. "That was... unexpected. Why did you help me?"
Vardall looked at her. "Because... I have an eye for talent." And because he already was used to this type of situation. Vardall met Zevran, one of his best friends, after Zevran tried to kill him. "You punch pretty well. Very few were able to knock me to the ground."
She giggles. "What can I say? I'm a woman with many talents."
"I could use someone like you." Vardall says.
"Well... I guess I'm in debt with you. So who exactly are you?"
"Oh, I'm a bit of this and a bit of that... Mage, warrior, The Dragonborn..." Vardall answers sincerely, but the woman starts laughing with his last words. "Right, and I am Dibella herself."
Vardall sighs. "It's true. But believe in what you want, I don't care."
She giggles a little more. "Very well, oh 'Dragonborn'. Arissa Acies Aufero, pleased to make your acquaintance. If you need a lock picked or a trap disarmed, I'm your woman."
Well... Pick locks was something Vardall already knew a little, but disarm traps still were incognito to him. "Very well, Arissa. My name is Vardall. I think it will be interesting to travel with you."
Arissa smiles. "Likewise. Now, before we do anything, I let my gear close by. Let me pick up and we can decide what to do next."
"Ok, let's grab your gear. And I already have something to do tomorrow. Let's go grab your things and go back to Dead Man's Drink. My friends are there and they're still sleeping." Arissa nods her head. "Ok, come on."
They both went to the place where Arissa hid her gear. It consisted of a light armor set, similar to others he already saw some thieves wearing. A steel sword and a bow with some iron arrows.
Grabbing Arissa's gear, Vardall and her returned to Dead Man's Drink. Inside again, Vardall went to his room while Arissa stayed on the main part of the Inn. Inside his room, Vardall removed his armor, dried up himself and his gear, and meditated alone for the next hours, remembering what Arngeir told him about The Way of the Voice.

Knock knock knock.
Some hours later, Vardall opens his eyes and stops meditating as he hear someone knocking on his door.
"Vardall, are you awake?" He recognizes Lucien's voice on the other side of the door. He quickly answers. "Yeah, I am. Just give me some minutes."
"Okay." Some seconds later, he can hear Lucien walking away from the door. Getting up, Vardall wears his gear again and exits his room. On the main part of the Inn, he can see many more people there than in the middle of the night.
"Ah, there you are!" Vardall turns his head and sees Lucien approaching him. "Good morning, Lucien." He says and smiles.
"Good morning, Vardall." Lucien smiles back. "So... I understand you recruited another member to our group, am I right?" Vardall lifts one of his eyebrows. "What? Do you already know?"
Looking to the other side of the room, he can see both Arissa and Sofia sitting on a table and talking to each other. Lydia was close to them, standing up and with his arms crossed as she looked at Arissa.
"Yes, we already know. Arissa introduced herself to us the moment she discovered we're with you." Lucien says. "Me and Sofia particularly don't mind that she's a thief, her skills can be very useful. But Lydia seems to bother a little with that fact."
Vardall sighs. "Let's go, I will solve this." He goes to the table they are at and Lucien follows. Sofia and Arissa were talking about some random thing that Vardall didn't mind hearing. As soon as he approached all of them, they stopped talking and focused on him.
Sofia was with a big smile on her face. "Hey, Vardall. You certainly attract the best people. I already liked Arissa."
"So, I see you're going well." Vardall looked at Lydia. "Something you want to share, Lydia?"
"My Thane, do you think it's wise to travel with a thief? Mainly one who tried to steal from you?" Lydia asked, concerned.
"I'm right over here, okay?" Arissa had a huge tone of humor in her voice. She was clearly having fun with Lydia's frustration.
"I think she will be useful to us." Vardall answers. "Besides, I'm already used to this type of situations. Damm... I met one of my best friends after he tried to kill me." Everyone's expressions changed to doubt and curiosity of Vardall's words.
"Wait, what?" Lucien asks, confused. Vardall quickly answers. "Long story, but it's a fun one. I'll tell you later. But Arissa will now travel with us."
Vardall gazes at Arissa's smile getting even bigger. "But don't worry, Lydia. If she betrays us, you can kill her right away." Vardall says, joking. Arissa's smile disappears this time it was Lydia who was smiling as she looked at Arissa. "As you command, My Thane..."
Vardall, Sofia and Lucien laugh at this situation. "Now... We all had some rest, so we can continue our trip back to High Hrothgar."
Arissa gets confused with Vardall's words. "High Hrothgar? What are you going to do there?"
"I'm training with the Greybeards. I can tell more on the way." Vardall says, smiling. "Now let's go, we still have a long way ahead."
Everyone agreed and the group left Falkreath to continue their journey, now with a new member. They all made their way to Ivarstead and High Hrothgar. During the trip, Arissa proved herself to be extremely deadly in combat, mainly with her bow. Her skill with the bow reminded Vardall of Leliana, which granted him even more bad memories and uneasy sleep nights. Leliana still was something Vardall hadn't gotten over completely, and maybe he never would. She still was on his mind constantly. In the rare nights Vardall wasn't overcome by nightmares, he always dreamed with her and their time together. Her laughter, her smile, her lovely personality... these were things Vardall thought he would have forever... But it ended up not being the case.
After some time of traveling, the group finally reaches High Hrothgar. Getting inside, Vardall immediately sees Arngeir sitting alone, meditating.
"Stay here, all of you." Vardall ordered his friends and went to Arngeir, with the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller on his hands.
Arngeir stops meditating as he notices Vardall. "Ah, Dragonborn... We're looking forward to your return." The old man says with what looks like a tiny smile on his face.
"I brought the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller." Vardall says.
"Very well. You have passed all the trials. It is time for us to recognize you fully as Dragonborn." Arngeir says. At this time, all the other Greybeards were also reunited with them. All of his group were only watching with curiosity from what was to happen.
"You are ready to learn the final word of Unrelenting Force, "Dah," which means "Push.'"
Vardall nods. "I'm ready."
Another of the Greybeards, Master Wulfgar, takes a step forward. "Dah..." With his powerful voice, he carves the word on the ground in front of Vardall, as already was done other times. Vardall looks at the word and again tells her it is carved in his mind.
"With all three words together, this Shout is much more powerful. Use it wisely. Master Wulfgar will now gift you with his knowledge of "Dah.""
While that was happening, Vardall's group were still watching, curious. Mainly Arissa.
"What's going on now?" Arissa was confused with this. Sofia looks at her. "Just watch."
As Arngeir had finished speaking, Master Wilfgar gives Vardall the knowledge from the last word of the Fus Ro Dah shout.
"You have completed your training, Dragonborn. We would Speak to you. Stand between us, and prepare yourself. Few can withstand the unbridled Voice of the Greybeards. But you are ready."
Vardall nods in agreement as he prepares himself. All the four Greybeards get into their positions and start speaking.
"Lingrah krosis saraan Strundu'ul, voth nid balaan klov praan nau." As soon as the first words are spoken to Vardall, he immediately feels the power of them. He almost loses his balance and falls to the ground, but manages to stay still as the Greybeards continue to speak. "Naal Thu'umu, mu ofan nii nu, Dovahkiin, naal suleyk do Kaan, naal suleyk do Shor, ahrk naal suleyk do Atmorasewuth."
Even being a little far from that, all of Vardall's friends still can feel the power of the Greybeards' voice. Lucien was excited with this, while Lydia, Sofia and Arissa were very impressed, but also confused. In the meantime, the Greybeards finally spoke their last words.
"Meyz nu Ysmir, Dovahsebrom. Dahmaan daar rok." They all finish speaking. This was surely a unique experience to Vardall.
"Dovahkiin. You have tasted the Voice of the Greybeards, and passed through unscathed. High Hrothgar is open to you." Arngeir says as he and the rest of the Greybeards make a respectful gesture. Vardall only nods respectfully. "Thank you, masters. For everything."
As the Greybeards start to leave, Vardall's friends all walk until him. "By the Divines, that was... incredible!" Lucien was very cheered up. "How it feels? How are you now? How..."
"Lucien, relax. I'm okay. It was nothing." Vardall says while he laughs at the same time.
"I can't believe..." Arissa almost was speechless. "...You truly are the Dragonborn."
"I told you." Vardall smiles and crosses his arms. "Or what? Do you think I knew how to shout like that with only training?"
This man who saved Arissa from going to prison and accepted her as a companion also was the Dragonborn. Her respect for Vardall grows a lot with this.
"I sure had some theories, but I wasn't expecting this to be true. Anyway, you truly surprised me now."
Vardall shrugs. "It seems I have this with me."
"That truly was impressive, my Thane." Lydia says.
"Yeah. Now, what do we do?" Sofia asked.
"We still have to see that business about the Dawnguard." Vardall says. "So I suggest we go now. From here to Riften is a interesting journey."
His friends all agree and they exit High Hrothgar, going in the direction of Riften.
Arissa is a very charismatic mod follower and one of my favorites. On the next chapter, we'll meet the best mod follower of all and start the Dawnguard DLC story.
Translation: "Lingrah krosis saraan Strundu'ul, voth nid balaan klov praan nau. Naal Thu'umu, mu ofan nii nu, Dovahkiin, naal suleyk do Kaan, naal suleyk do Shor, ahrk naal suleyk do Atmorasewuth. Meyz nu Ysmir, Dovahsebrom. Dahmaan daar rok."
"Long has the Storm Crown languished with no worthy brow to sit upon. By our breath we bestow it now to you in the name of Kyne, in the name of Shor, and in the name of Atmora of old. You are Ysmir now, the Dragon of the North. Hearken to it."
Now, the next chapters will focus on the whole Dawnguard DLC. I'm not kidding when I say this will be the most important arc of this story. Several big revelations and more connections to the Dragon Age world will be made during the DLC events. Vardall himself will also have a bigger development.
