Chapter 5

Toshinori sat in what could be dubbed U.A.'s War Room with his arms crossed, watching all of his fellow staff members as they gathered at Nezu's request to discuss what happened in the Entrance Exam. The fallout from the Zero Pointer's rampage was quite big, but fortunately, no one lost their lives. No one was even seriously injured, so U.A.'s image didn't suffer as some people might have hoped. Instead, the support companies responsible for the big ass robots got blamed for the incident, taking most of the heat off U.A.

Or at least that was the official story. The support company fucked up, and a bug caused the Zero Pointer to go on a rampage in the middle of the exam. U.A.'s swift actions brought the matter to an end.

It was horseshit, and everyone at U.A. knew it. The Zero Pointer's rampage wasn't a bug or part of the support companies fucking up. It wasn't even a U.A. staff member that prevented a tragedy. Instead, an examinee had to put his life in danger to save everyone else and took care of the gigantic robot. Toshinori could hardly even count the number of people who had to be paid off to keep silent on the situation.

It shamed him to admit that, but they couldn't have people's trust in U.A. shaken before even the beginning of the school year. That's why they were here, to discuss what happened, gather information, and decide what to do about it.

That's why Power Loader was standing there, telling them all he knew. He was the 'expert' between them, after all.

"Well, I can't say how or why we lost. control of that Zero-Pointer since it was obliterated by that kid, but none of the others showed any sign of being messed with."

"Nothing in the warehouse left any clue?" asked Nezu with a frown.

Here, even Power Loader's mask started sweating as he shifted around nervously. "Ah… well, you see… The warehouses revealed another problem…"

The temperature in the room dropped as Nezu leaned forward, his chin supported on top of his two paws. "Problem?"

Power Loader gulped. "… We found some… items missing…"

The temperature dropped even further, with Toshinori even swearing that he saw tentacles appear at the far sides of the room from the shadows. "And what exactly was missing, Power Loader?" Nezu's tone was calm, but it was an extremely cold one that made it scarier.

"Umm… You see… There were dismantled Zero Pointer parts, as well as all kinds of other projects that were being worked on… When we searched the warehouses, we… found them missing."

Toshinori's eyes widened at that. "Are you saying that whoever took this could build a Zero Pointer of their own? That they also stole other items too?"

Power Loader looked at him, preferring to not look towards Nezu's scary frown. "I regret saying this, but yes."

"How did they manage to do it? Did you find anything useful at all?" Midnight asked in one of the rare cases of her being completely serious.

"We have no idea. There are no signs of a break-in or any suspicious sign-ins. The security is top-notch, and the cameras outside didn't show anyone entering or getting out. The cameras inside showed another case of looping footage, just like what happened the day of the exam…" Power Loader looked down in obvious shame. "In truth, we have no idea how any of this happened…"

Everyone expressed their disbelief at that, but before the outrage could grow into more uncontrollable chaos, Nezu cut in.

"Could it be some kind of a warping quirk? That's the best explanation that I could come up with at this moment."

"A warping quirk?" Said Vlad King in disbelief. "Aren't those incredibly rare?"

Nezu nodded. "That they are, but do you have a better explanation for it?"

No one said a thing. Nothing else made sense. It was just too clean.

Nezu then looked at Power Loader. "What about the problem with the cameras? Were you able to trace the source? Someone must have hacked into the system."

Power Loader shook his head. "Not a single trace. We suspect it's a technology-related quirk. Some kind of hacking quirk or something."

Nezu nodded gravely. "I see… I think it's safe to assume that we're dealing with dangerous and prepared individuals. A villainous organisation that has the resources and courage to take on U.A. despite knowing about all of the security and Pro heroes we have…"

He continued after a short pause. "Power Loader, I need you to have security teams prepared to deal with anything inside the warehouses too. All the time. I also want a list of everything that they've taken," he said before he looked at Aizawa. "Eraserhead, did you hear of any suspicious villain activity during your work?"

Aizawa nodded slowly. "There is a rise in general villain activity due to All Might's obvious decrease in patrols," he said, making Toshinori wince at his weakness. "Other than that, there are whispers of some kind of team or league between the villains. It seems to consist of low-level villains that won't pose any problem even in large numbers, but the true concern is whoever is behind them all. We still haven't found anything about the identity of their leader, their name, or their objectives."

He continued. "Missing person cases are rising too. Miruko is currently investigating a lead in a nearby city. There are even whispers of a hero killer appearing north of Kyoto."

The atmosphere in the room grew more sombre with every word. It seemed that the situation was slowly, but surely taking a turn toward the worst. Toshinori didn't want to sound arrogant, but he blamed his time limit for that. Already, society was feeling the effects of the Symbol of Peace slowing down. He needed to find a successor and find him fast. His thoughts brought him back towards Izuku Midoriya. His amazing and versatile quirk was the thing that first caught his attention, though the fact that the boy managed to defeat a rather tricky villain on his own was also impressive. He also appeared to be a kind and nice kid, and his actions in the Entrance Exam proved that he had the right attitude to be a hero and the next wielder of One For All. Though Toshinori didn't want to rush his decision, so he thought of waiting maybe a few more months to see how he'd fare at U.A. and to check for other candidates.

The meeting continued for a while longer before all of them, except himself, were dismissed. Nezu approached him with a thoughtful look on his face before he asked.

"Do you think it's him behind all of this?"

Toshinori's blood ran cold at the reminder of that monster. He could still see it, the blood that soaked his hands, and the scattered remains of that thing's head. The devastation that was left in the wake of their fight, and the injury that caused the end of his career. He could still remember the rage at seeing him and hearing his taunts about Nana. How his blood boiled when the monster described how he killed his beloved mentor.

He shook his head to get out of his thoughts. That bastard was dead for sure. No one survived that.

"No. He is dead. I'm sure of it. If he can survive that, then I don't think that anything could kill him. I blew half of his brain away!"

Nezu nodded in understanding, patting Toshinori on the shoulder to calm him down. As a Hero, Toshinori obviously wasn't fond of killing, even if he had permission to should the circumstances not allow for another solution. However, Toshinori was ashamed to admit that in this case, it was his first solution to the problem. And if he ever somehow ended up back in time, he'd do it again. That monster wasn't human at all, and letting him live would only endanger more people, even behind bars. He had killed and caused the death and suffering of many, so he wasn't deserving of any mercy, even if it was unheroic of Toshinori to admit it.

At least now… He wouldn't hurt anyone ever again.

"Utsuri-kun did a marvellous job," said the man with a smirk as he watched the Zero Pointer rampage throughout the fake city. However, his smirk vanished as he watched the rest of the feed, the true feed. The expected scenes of carnage weren't there as an examinee stepped up and protected everyone else before he proceeded to utterly annihilate the massive robot. Just one single fifteen-year-old kid had foiled their plans just like that!

"Who is this?" He asked the woman sitting in the room with him.

The woman blinked before she searched the files on her tablet, before bringing up a specific one on a hologram.

"Izuku Midoriya. He's a student from Aldera, one of the top two students alongside one of our targets of interest, Katsuki Bakugō. There are mentions of them being rivals, and butting heads a lot… Wait, that doesn't make any sense… How curious!"

"What is it?" He asked irritably, not in the mood for the woman's antics.

"His quirk is listed as a simple energy generation one, but that certainly isn't true if one were to look at his feats in the Entrance Exam."

The man drummed his fingers on the expensive wood of his desk. "Clearly, he either lied on his quirk registry or discovered the true function of his quirk much later, but never bothered to correct the information about his quirk…"

The woman nodded. "I'm curious about his quirk… What do you think it is?"

"I have no idea… it doesn't seem to make any sense. The barrier he used to protect the woman, and the others at the end could be explained as him using his energy like that, but that weird aura around his body? The obvious increase in strength and speed? And the strange things he did to those mushrooms. None of it adds up at all…"

"What do you want to do?"

"Gather more information about him, monitor him, and that rival of his. Now that he has shown his quirk in such a public setting, U.A. will force him to update his quirk registry, so follow up on that as well."

"I'm curious about your motive… You mean to take him out?"

"If he proves to be a threat? Yes. If he proves to be a possible recruit? No, of course not. He's strong, and that means he has a place in this world… Enough about that for now… Utsuri-kun and Ishida-kun have managed to get us some new toys to play with. While we may have failed to get the results we desired on one front; we did get more than we thought we could from our other goals. Truly U.A. has access to the newest and best technology, so at least we have that," he said as he watched the other feeds, taking notes for possible candidates to join their army.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Rumi shouted, delivering a stronger-than-intended kick that uprooted the steel training dummy that she was using and sent it crashing into one of the walls of the training room.

She turned towards the man who was standing a few metres away with a heavy scowl on her face.

The man was a lanky middle-aged man with beige, chin-length, messy hair. He was dressed in a black suit with a white undershirt and black tie and shoes. He had small, but noticeable bags under his eyes from an obvious lack of sleep.

The man, while he appeared bored, had a noticeable glint of fear in his eyes and took a step back at Rumi's raised voice.

Good. She thought gleefully at his fear of her.

The man had the audacity to interrupt her training time and tell her that the HPSC wanted her to work as a teacher at UA. Her! A teacher!

"I said, that the Hero Public Safety Commission asked you to join U.A.'s teaching staff, and-" he was cut off by Rumi again.

"Do you know who I am?" she asked.

"Usagiyama Rumi, the Rabbit Hero: Miruko."

"Then you fucking know your answer!"

The man sighed. "Usagiyama-san, we have tolerated your-"

He was cut off again as Rumi marched towards him and brought her face closer with a furious glare. "Tolerated?"

The man flinched but continued on. "Your behaviour for a long time… After becoming a proper Pro Hero and working on your own, you never took any sidekicks and never accepted working with others. The HPSC let it happen because you always delivered, thinking that one day you would change your mind. However, we couldn't just let you go on like that forever. You were the youngest hero to ever reach the top 10, breaking Hawks' record by three months. You're also expected to reach number 5 in the next Hero Billboard chart. You're one of the top heroes representing Japan, and we can't let you continue as you are. It'll reflect horribly on our country's image!"

Rumi scoffed at him, going back to her training. "I don't care what people think. I didn't become a hero for fame, so they can shove their opinions up their asses. Besides, I don't see you doing anything about Endeavor's attitude."

"Endeavor is a professional that has several sidekicks, and while he can be… problematic, any issue that he may have isn't public knowledge so it doesn't concern us," answered the hero commission guy with a shrug. Truthfully, Rumi couldn't remember his name.

Huh? His words imply that the asshole is hiding something from the public...

The man continued. "You, however, are being a pain for us. Not only do you refuse to take any sidekicks or work together with other heroes unless absolutely necessary, but your brash, unwomanly attitude is unbecoming of you. Not to mention how you're recently going more and more overboard in defeating villains, and the media has started to question your love for fighting and if you were more like a villain than a hero. That's too much for us, and it has to stop."

Rumi bristled; anger flared inside her as she decimated another dummy. "And you thought that working as a fucking teacher was the answer?"

He nodded. "It'll be a good PR move for you, and it might get you to finally work together with others. We understand that given your past-"

Rumi growled. "Don't fucking talk about my past!"

He held his hands up. "We understand why you don't like working with others, but that has to stop regardless."

Rumi gave him an unimpressed look. "And you think that you can force me?"

The man nodded with a determined look on his face. "We can and we will. If you refuse, then we'll revoke your Hero License-"

Rumi scoffed again. "If you think that I'll stop being a hero because you took that then you're a moron."

"If you were to become a vigilante, then we would have to send our best against you. Including All Might. Besides, you have those you care about, right? If you don't-"

Before he could continue. Rumi, feeling her anger become an inferno inside of her, lashed out with a burst of speed as her left foot was buried into the wall behind the man just beside his face. The wall cracked and started crumbling as the wind from the impact opened a long cut on the man's cheek.

Rumi, completely enraged, sent a death glare at the man. "Listen here, you fucker. If you threaten them again, Hero Commission or not, I'll fucking break every bone in your body!"

The man was completely terrified and looked about to piss himself as he nodded hastily. "I-It's what they said, not me!"

"Then what's this 'we' business, huh? Sure sounds like your fucking words." Rumi sent him another glare before she took a step back, taking her feet out of the wall, as the guy slid down, his legs unable to support him.

After a moment of silence, he added slowly. "I-It's not that bad. You would only have 12 hours of classes a week that are mandatory, so you can continue your work. And you'll be working alongside All Might too!"

Rumi gritted her teeth, weighing her options before she nodded.

I'll get you for this one day you bastards! She promised in her mind those who dared to threaten what was hers. She might be a hero, but she was still a human and had her own morals. She was a hero who saved the innocent after all, not criminals.

"I have a job that I'm working on though, so I won't be available until around the end of the first week," she said before she glared at him. "And if you think I'm doing any paperwork for this shit, you're even dumber than you look. You want me to do this? Fucking handle it yourself.." She turned and stalked away, her very footsteps putting minor fractures beneath her feet.

The man nodded in relief. "Y-Yes, Ma'am!"

▬▬ι═══════

"It seems that U.A. is really getting in a lot of trouble because of that Zero-pointer rampage," Nana said from her place, nestled between Izuku's green locks on top of his head.

Izuku nodded. "Yeah, especially after the results came. Some are claiming that they failed because of the incident and that U.A. should repeat the exam. Others are more concerned that kids were about to be killed by a robot and threatening to sue U.A., or are trying to besmirch their image for their own gains."

"You think that U.A. will suffer from this?"

Izuku shook his head. "Nah. No one got seriously injured, and it's the support companies that made the robots that will most likely end up being blamed. U.A. isn't just any other school and has too much influence for it to suffer from something like this. If it was a villain attack and someone was injured, however…"

"That was because of you, though… Maybe that's why they called you over?"

Indeed, Izuku was making his way towards U.A. after receiving an email asking him to go there. Izuku was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with sleeves rolled up and a pair of grey slim-fit trousers with a pair of brown boat shoes. After Nana, Nejire, and his mom convinced him that a hero's image was important and that his All Might shirts weren't flattering… at all… Izuku started to wear clothes that didn't scream that he was a hero nerd all the time. Izuku did have a few eccentric choices, and his hero costume and staff would be examples of that when people see them.

He shook his head. "I thought of that, but why would they want me for it?"

"Maybe they want to kill you to keep it hushed up that you had to save their asses?"

"What?" he asks incredulously.

"You know, to force conceal the truth, but you'll escape, maybe after losing an arm, and be forced into a life on the run while acting as a vigilante."

Izuku snorted. "You've been reading too many badly written fanfics."

"Do you know how hard it is to find good fanfics in the first place? Some make me want to tear my eyes out! Who the hell thought that writing All Might/Endeavor fanfics was a good idea?"

Izuku shuddered at that. "There are fanfics like that?" he asked in disgust.

"Yup! That's why you better make sure to ask fanfiction sites to never allow stories about you! I don't want to see a single fic of you and Bakugō."

Izuku's full body shuddered as complete disgust filled him at the mere idea of that. "Who in their right mind would look at me and him and think 'Yeah, they work well together!'? Next, you'll tell me that there are fanfics of All Might with one of his villains!"

Nana leaned forward from her place on top of his head, looking him in the eyes upside down. "Oh, Izuku. You're underestimating the Internet. Hell, there were a couple of girls in your class that were already fantasising about it!"

"Nana, names, now! They need to be monitored! They have the potential to be future villains!" he said, making Nana giggle.

A few blocks away from U.A., Izuku noticed a certain girl.

She was shorter than him, wearing a purple hoodie with the hood up obscuring her face. The hoodie was clearly customised to allow her rabbit's (from the look of it) ears to move freely while still being covered. She also wore a pair of black shorts that were short enough to show most of her thicc thighs.

It wasn't only her thighs that grabbed his attention, and believe Izuku that they were really thicc, but the way she was acting.

She was walking suspiciously, looking around, hopping from one place to another using people, phone booths or anything to hide behind as if she was afraid of being followed… So Izuku followed her.

"Izuku… are you stalking that chick?" Nana whispered to him.

"O-Of course not! Her suspicious behaviour caught my attention!"

"Heh~ Her behaviour or something else?" She asked slyly.

"Huh?"

"They're quite thicc, aren't they? Her thighs, I mean."

Izuku nodded. "Yeah, they are! Can you beli- no! I mean, I'm only concerned that she's hiding something!"

"Like a pair of big boobs under that hoodie to go with those thicc thighs of hers?"

The hoodie was baggy enough that it didn't show the curves of her upper body. Izuku shook his head. "O-Of course not!" he denied with red cheeks.

He followed her for a couple of minutes before he saw her get into a side alley. He stopped just at the corner and peeked his head to watch. He saw the girl standing in front of a man wearing a grey trench coat, black sunglasses, and a black hat. Both of them were whispering about something and looking around as if checking if anyone was seeing them. It honestly looked like a drug deal.

Izuku tensed when he saw the man open his coat… only to notice that the inside of the coat was filled with DVDs hanging on it…

Is she buying porn or something?

The man handed her a couple of them before she put them in a plastic bag. Then, she clearly gave him a roll of money as if she was shaking his hand before she turned and Izuku noticed the ripples of her muscled and tanned thigh…

That was when it hit him.

That level of thiccness, the tanned skin, and the muscled thighs! (Of course, and the rabbit ears) there was only one person in the world who he knew that had them all.

"Miruko!" he cried out suddenly in surprise.

He hadn't noticed that while he was focused on her thighs, Miruko was coming closer to exit the side alley, so when he cried out, the sound surprised Miruko as her ears stood up in shock as her hood fell off her head, she jumped in surprise and dropped out the plastic bags with the DVDs falling out of it.

Izuku blinked as he saw that they were DVDs for Sailor Moon and PreCure.

Izuku looked down, and then up to Miruko's wide-eyed red face. "That is an interesting choice of anime you got there," he said before he found himself in the air as Miruko wrapped one of her legs around his waist, gathered the fallen DVDs, and leapt to the roof of a nearby building.

In a moment, they found themselves on top of a building, staring at each other awkwardly.

They both stayed silent for a few moments before Miruko started to talk. "T-T-THEY ARE MY LITTLE BROTHER'S!" She almost tore off his ear by how loud she was.

Izuku raised an eyebrow. "Your little brother's?"

Miruko blushed harder, making her even more beautiful than ever, as she averted her eyes. "They are… my little sister's?" she half asked hesitantly. "Yes! My little sister likes to collect DVDs of ancient anime!"

Izuku hummed. It was clear to all that he didn't believe her. "I believe you one hundred per cent," he said in his most sarcastic voice.

Miruko growled. "FINE! They're mine, happy?" She then gave him her scariest death glare. "Promise that you won't ever tell anyone about this."

"I promise that I won't tell anyone that Miruko is secretly an otaku."

"You don't sound convincing at all," said Miruko in a threatening tone.

Izuku chuckled nervously. "I promise on my All Might's merchandise that I won't ever tell anyone about it."

Miruko simply raised an eyebrow at him.

"I have a lot of rare first edition limited items! They are worth a fortune!" Izuku quickly defended himself.

"Fine, if you don't keep your promise, then I'll turn them to dust," she said, making Izuku pale.

"I won't tell, I promise!"

They stood silently for a moment before a thought hit Izuku.

"Wait…" He pointed at the bag that had the Sailor Moon DVDs. "Is that the reason why your attacks are moon-themed?"

Miruko's face became beet red as she averted her eyes. "O-Of course not!"

Izuku chuckled. An embarrassed Miruko looked incredibly cute. He was fortunate that he got to see a side of Miruko that was never seen before in public.

Izuku talked without thinking. "Hey, I think it suits you, you know. With your quirk and your appearance, it's like you're a moon goddess."

If possible, Miruko blushed harder as she stared at him with wide eyes before she huffed, crossing her arms under her breasts, and looked to the side. "D-Don't say stupid things or I'll crush you!"

Izuku simply looked at her confused, not understanding what the problem was. He wondered if he had offended her somehow at some point.

Maybe she was too embarrassed about naming her attacks after her favourite anime?

Miruko looked back again for a moment before Izuku saw her eyes widen in recognition.

"Wait! You're the kid from back then? Izuku Midoriya, was it?"

Izuku was so shocked that Miruko actually remembered him and his name that he only nodded dumbly.

"Heh~," said Miruko as she moved closer to him, before standing in his personal space, looking up at him due to how much taller he was than her. "You certainly have grown a lot, haven't you? I hardly recognised you, kid!" Izuku's cheeks coloured from her close proximity before he blushed harder as one of her hands groped his left arm. "Heh~ and you've been working your body too? Good. Given what I remember about your quirk, I thought you'd be a wimpy lazy ass fighting long range only, but you trained your body too."

"I-I," Izuku tried to say something but failed. He was used to beautiful girls because of Nejire, Nana, and Ryukyu, but a goddess like Miruko acting like this was still a bit much for him when he was caught off guard.

Miruko lightly hit his chest. "Nice! You want to be a hero, right? Joined any Hero School?" she asked as she took a step back.

"Y-Yeah. I got accepted into U.A."

Miruko looked up at him in surprise. "U.A?" Her expression changed into something that Izuku didn't understand before she whistled, back to normal. "That's impressive, kid. I guess I should've expected nothing less from the only guy to force me to work with him," she said, the end being in a bit of a bitter tone.

Apparently, she was still holding a grudge about that. "Hey, it's not my fault the villain was just the wrong match-up for a close-range fighter like you."

Miruko pouted cutely. "Yeah… you're right," she said before turning back to him. "Anyway, I-" She paused mid-sentence, looking at Izuku in surprise. "Hey! Is that a Sky Gal, Nana figurine!" She suddenly exclaimed, pointing at Nana who was seated between Izuku's locks, noticing her for the first time.

"You know her?" Asked Izuku in surprise.

"Of course! She isn't well-known, but she was my role model! I looked up to her after I discovered her when I was a little kid! Wait! Why the hell do you have a figurine on top of your head in public?" She asked, taking a step back, clearly weirded out by him.

"Well, I'm glad that I'm a role model for an amazing Heroine like you!" Nana decided to talk.

Miruko jumped up in surprise before she pointed an accusing finger at Nana. "A talking Sky Gal figurine?" She then looked at Izuku with stars in her eyes. "I'll offer five million Yen for it!"

Izuku chuckled, taking the chance to tease Nana. "I'll not accept less than eight million. It's one of its kind."

Miruko didn't even hesitate. "Deal!"

"Hey! I'm not for sale!" Nana yelled indignantly. "I have rights! This is slavery! Completely unacceptable!"

If anything, Miruko was even more awed. "It's sapient?! How did you get something like that!?"

"Well, it's a special made one."

"I'LL SHOW YOU SPECIAL YOU JERK!" Nana yelled as she started stomping his head with her foot.

Izuku chuckled before he explained everything to Miruko about Nana. After he finished, Miruko still looked at Nana in awe.

"Your quirk could do something like that? Man… Quirks really are bullshit!" She said as she grabbed Nana and started rubbing her against her cheek.

"Hey! Stop doing that! Your cheeks are nice and all, but at least use your thighs to make Izuku jealous."

"Huh?" Miruko asked confusedly.

"Nothing!" Izuku yelled as he hurried to take Nana back while keeping his finger on her mouth.

"Well, anyway… I'm kind of running late, so I need to go now," Miruko said after looking at her watch.

"W-Wait, I didn't get your signature the other time either!"

Miruko looked back at him with a smug smirk. "I'll be giving it to you next time. I'll be seeing you soon," she said before she jumped away, leaving a confused Izuku.

Huh, why did she say that?

Before he could say more, he yelped in pain as Nana bit his finger.

"Don't you have to go to U.A.?" She reminded him.

Izuku's eyes widened as he finally remembered that he indeed was heading towards U.A. before seeing Miruko, and hurried off toward his destination.

It was then that hit him.

"HOLY SHIT! I discovered that Miruko was an otaku, teased her, AND she remembered my name!" He suddenly freaked out from sheer happiness.

▬▬ι═══════

As he entered the principal's office, Izuku was surprised to see three people waiting for him. The first was All Might wearing civilian clothes; a simple white shirt with a pair of green jeans. The second person was the principal himself, Nezu.

Nezu was a short… man if he could be called that. He appeared to be the possible combination of several different animals including a dog, a mouse, and a bear. He had the head of a mouse with circular black eyes with a large scar over the right one. A relatively rectangular-shaped ears with an elongated muzzle with a small round nose. His fur was white and had large, dog-like paws and a thin tail like that of a cat. Nezu wore a sports white dress shirt, a dark red tie around his neck, a black double-breasted waistcoat, and matching dress pants.

The last person was none other than Nemuri Kayama, more commonly known as the R-Rated Hero: Midnight.

Midnight was a tall, curvaceous woman with fair skin and brilliant sky-blue eyes framed by a set of rather long eyelashes. She had thick long dark purple hair that reached her waist at its longest with chin-length bangs that were split into three sections; two swept to the sides, and one over her face going down to the left between her eyes. She also had a small beauty mark just below her left eye that complemented her gorgeous face.

She was wearing her famous hero costume. A breastless, black leather leotard over a thin, skin-tight flesh-coloured bodysuit, which accentuated her voluptuous figure and thicc thighs. The centre strip of her leotard was embellished with red gemstone-like accessories in a vertical pattern from her collar to her midriff. She also wore translucent, black, thigh-high garter stockings which were attached to a burgundy utility belt decorated with gold studs around her hips.

All in all, she truly looked like what one would call sex on heels befitting an R-rated heroine like her. Midnight was easily one of the most beautiful women that Izuku had ever seen, a true beauty amongst women matched only by the likes of Miruko, Yu and Ryukyu.

Of course, this was Izuku, a known fanboy. While Midnight's beauty captured his attention for a moment, he quickly switched gears as his eyes sparkled, a notebook appearing out of nowhere into his hands.

"Holy shit! It's Midnight herself! I'm really a big fan. You were the reason that they introduced regulations for hero costumes after your first outrageous costume! Your quirk is really amazing as you can take down villains or resolve violent situations easily without the need for further violence! And you're not one of those heroes that depend on their quirks alone as you're really capable at combat. I wonder about your quirk though. Somnambulist affects men more than women for some reason. I wonder, does it have something to do with the Y chromosome? Or some other reason? I don't think that it's sexually related as it works on kids too. Can you increase the speed of the gas and control it? Mumble Mumble Mumble Mumble Mumble Mumble Mumble Mumble Mumble Mumble-"

He was interrupted by a musical laugh. Izuku looked to see Midnight laughing, while both All Might and Nezu looked at him amusedly. Izuku blushed, realising that he was mumbling again.

He rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry about that, it's just a force of habit."

Midnight waved her hand as she stepped forward, getting closer to him. "I don't mind. It's nice seeing such a handsome young man appreciating me as a hero~. I came here to meet the one who saved everyone in the exam. The youthful vigour you showed standing up against the Zero pointer and then defeating it was something that I liked," she said with her husky voice, a beautiful smile adorning her face.

Izuku blushed at the close proximity. "I-It was nothing. Anyone would've done that."

Midnight's smile widened further as she looked at him through half-lidded eyes. "Oh? Humble too on top of being handsome? You're going to make some girl really lucky one day ~."

Izuku's face went full atomic red at that. He was used to beautiful women and teasing, but Midnight was certainly on another level.

A cough reminded them that there were others in the room as they turned back to All Might and Nezu.

Nezu raised his arm and chirped happily. "Nice to meet you, Izuku Midoriya! That's right. It's me, Nezu, the one who could be a dog or a mouse or a bear, but more importantly... I'm the principal!"

All Might on the other hand gave his trademark smile. "It's good to see you again, young Midoriya."

"You're probably wondering why you're here," said Nezu seriously, making Izuku feel worried.

Are they going to kill me to hide the truth as Nana said!?

All three of them stood (as both All Might and Nezu were still seated before) making Izuku tense before they bowed to him.

"We're terribly sorry, Izuku Midoriya. Because of us letting our guard down, you had to endanger yourself to protect everyone and take out the threat. We're truly grateful for your intervention," said Nezu.

All Might nodded with an obvious proud smile. "Your actions were those of a true hero. I'm glad that we get to have a student like you."

"I-I just did what anyone else would've done. It was nothing special really," said Izuku sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Midnight tutted. "None of that. Being humble is good, but don't take it too far. Accept the praise when you deserve it and be proud of yourself," she said seriously, unlike her previous behaviour. That didn't last for long as she winked. "That's more attractive to girls, you know~."

Izuku thought about it for a moment before he nodded. "You're right, thank you," he said with a grateful smile.

"Lunch Rush also wanted to offer his thanks," said Nezu.

"Lunch Rush?"

"Yes, you remember an incident with a shark villain that was threatening a woman, a few months back," said Nezu, Izuku paling as he figured that U.A knew about that. "That woman was Lunch Rush's cousin. She had run away at the end, telling Lunch Rush all about the kid who saved her."

"I'm…"

Nezu raised a hand, stopping him. "Don't worry, we're not holding it against you. All I'll tell you is that you should keep a low profile, and maybe next time try and cover your face. The woman tripped and fell, breaking her phone so she lost the video evidence, but you might not be so lucky next time."

"I'm surprised," confessed Izuku. "I assumed that you'd not approve of such a thing."

Nezu smiled at him. "Whether I approved it or not, would you stop yourself from interfering if you found yourself in the same situation again?" When Izuku shook his head, Nezu nodded. "I know people like you," he said, throwing a glance towards All Might. "Stopping you from helping people in need is pointless. I hardly can complain about people willing to help others when I'm the principal of a hero school myself. All I ask is that you only do it if there is no other choice, take care not to harm yourself, and keep your identity a secret. Can you promise me that?"

"I promise."

Nezu continued. "The other thing that we want to talk about is your quirk."

"My quirk?"

"Yes, from what All Might told us, your quirk is different from the one registered. Can you fully explain to us what your quirk can do? And why did you choose to neglect to update your quirk registry file?"

Izuku gulped. "I'm not in trouble, am I?"

Nezu chuckled and shook his head. "Not at all."

So Izuku explained everything about his quirk; what it truly was, how it worked, the limitations, and the whole deal. Nezu displayed a thinly veiled interest in it, and Midnight was amazed by it, though she seemed to like the name Enchantment for some reason.

"As for why I hid that, it was because Nana convinced me it'd be safer for me as a kid with no real protection against people who would want to exploit my quirk," said Izuku after he finished his explanation.

"N-Nana?" All Might asked in a weird tone.

"Ah, right. None of you has met her yet," he said before looking up a little. "Wake up, Nana," Izuku called out for her since she had gone to sleep inside Izuku's hair after the encounter with Rumi.

"Did you finish, Izuku?" Came Nana's sleepy voice as she peeked out of his hair.

A gasp was heard, making Izuku turn back to the other three people in the room. Midnight looked confused at Nana, while Nezu eyed her with suspicion. All Might on the other hand had gone pale and was staring at her with both horror and wonder. He seemed to tremble as he took a hesitant step forward.

"What is it? Something on my face? Ah, I've not introduced myself! Name's Nana Shimura, nice to meet you."

"N-Nana… is that really you?" All Might suddenly said, his voice sounding broken as he took another step forward towards Izuku.

"Do I know you?" asked Nana, and Izuku could feel All Might's heart breaking just from seeing his expression.

"Midoriya-san," said Nezu. "Can you please explain what's going on here? Who is that? And why did she introduce herself by the name of a long-dead hero?"

Did they know Nana from before she died? Is that why All Might is acting like that?

"Ah, well… Nana was a figurine for a Pro Hero that existed a long time ago that I had. Sky Gal: Nana."

"Figurine?" Asked Midnight in astonishment. "But she's moving and talking like a normal person."

"It's because of my quirk," explained Izuku.

"Your quirk?" enquired Nezu.

Izuku nodded. "My quirk took more time to manifest than other people's quirks. For a while, I was thought of as quirkless. I had a person who I thought was my friend before, but when his quirk awakened, he… turned his back on me because I was a "quirkless Deku." I didn't have any friends, and was really lonely… When my quirk activated, people thought that generating energy was cool, and decided to befriend me, but I refused. I could see that they only wanted to get closer because of my quirk, not because they cared for me."

"That's probably wise," said Midnight sadly. "Though I guess that means you were still lonely."

Izuku nodded with a sad smile. "Yes… Nana was one of my favourite figurines. One day, I was feeling really down and lonely, and subconsciously used my quirk to enchant Nana's figurine to be 'alive', and become my friend."

All Might looked a mix of disappointed and hopeful at the same time when he asked. Izuku felt pity for the Pro Hero who suddenly looked so vulnerable. "So, she isn't really Nana?"

"I… I don't really know. She has some memories, but barely. We have no idea how my quirk actually worked with her, and if she acts anything like the real deal or not."

"What can you remember?" Asked All Might as he stepped forward, bringing his face closer to Nana.

"Not much. I remember a blond kid I called Toshi whom I trained and a friend from school called Sorahiko… I remember that I was 'killed' by a villain, but not who or how," said Nana with a frown.

Izuku watched All Might's expression as Nana talked. The comment about the blond kid made All Might give a nostalgic smile, while Sorahiko made him sweat like crazy with real fear in his eyes. The last part clearly pained All Might and a guilty expression was painted over his face clear as day.

All Might was the blond kid, wasn't he? Wait! Nana trained All Might!? Holy shit!

"Can I?" asked All Might as he extended his finger to touch Nana.

Nana wasn't having it as she moved to slap his finger away yelling. "Hey! You should ask–" She stopped halfway since as soon as Nana's hand touched All Might's finger, there was a spark of purple lightning all of the sudden. It travelled from the point of contact enveloping both of them at the same time for a moment before it disappeared as it came.

There was silence for a moment before Nana broke it.

"T-Toshinori?" asked Nana after a pause, she added. "You've grown old."

All Might looked at Nana in shock, taking a step back. "Y-You remember?"

Nana nodded her head slowly. "I think? It was like I was in a vast darkness for a long, long time. I think there were six others too. Then, I was here…" She spoke uncertainly. "I think it was when I touched you that I suddenly remembered everything… Maybe it's because of One Fo–" She suddenly clapped her hand on her mouth, wide-eyed and looking at everyone in the room.

"Interesting." Was all Nezu said.

Izuku saw All Might's eyes widen in alarm as he looked nervously at him and Midnight. "Ah… Maybe it's because I knew you when you were alive that you got your memory back? You know what they say; Quirks are bullshit."

"Seems legit."

Izuku narrowed his eyes. He got the feeling that something was being hidden from him and Midnight as All Might didn't seem worried about Nezu. He wondered what it could be.

"M-Maybe we can meet sometime and talk about the past," All Might offered weakly.

"Of course, Toshi. I'd like that, but not now. I'm still processing all my memories and what just happened."

"Of course!"

"We also need to talk with Sorahiko," she added.

All Might started to sweat again. "Um… Maybe hold back on that last part?" He said, but a glare from Nana had him hanging his head down in defeat. It was hilarious seeing All Might acting like that.

"So, from what I gathered you're the one who trained All Might?" Midnight suddenly asked.

"Yes, at least for a while. I picked him up when he was just a normal kid, but I… didn't survive for long," said Nana sadly. Her voice nearly broke at the end as she clearly remembered her death. "I'm guessing from his reaction that Sorahiko did as I wished and trained him." She added with an amused tone after a moment.

Midnight giggled at All Might's obvious fear of the man who apparently trained him. "Well, it's good to know that the great All Might is a human just like the rest of us."

Izuku understood her words. Heroes in general were adored and looked up to by the public. Sometimes, people forgot that Heroes were human too with how much they put them on a pedestal, especially All Might who was seen nearly like a god. That they were humans who could make mistakes and die. It was even worse with All Might. He was the symbol of peace, the number-one hero for decades. He held more power than anyone else and some people's idolisation of him has turned into worship. It didn't help that both his quirk and past were shrouded in mysteries and secrets. To know that he was at some point a normal kid who feared his apparently harsh mentor humanised him in the eyes of others.

Nezu clapped his hands together and squeaked happily. "Well, now that's out of the way. Let's return to our discussion," he said before he looked at Izuku. "I assume that since the request to the support department requires including your quirk that you either didn't send it yet or would need to be altered?"

"Kind of. I did send the one for my hero costume using the quirk that I had registered first, but it won't need altering as I took my real quirk in mind, and the design would work either way."

Nezu nodded. "Well, that's good to hear. What about your support item?"

Izuku grimaced. "I still haven't finished designing it, so I haven't sent it yet… I'm kind of not sure that it'd be approved anyway."

"Why is that?"

Izuku rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I've done a lot of experiments, and from the information that I have, the best thing that'd work with my quirk and won't fall apart after a few enchantments is… Criotrium."

Thanks to Ryuko, Izuku had been able to test a very small piece of it, the size of a pea, that she had borrowed for him through her connections. It proved far better than any type of metal that he had tried before. Ryuko suggested that he try to ask U.A. for support items to be made of it, but they didn't hold much hope that U.A. would actually agree.

Everyone's eyes widened at that. Criotrium was a new type of metal that was recently discovered, and while it seemed to surpass most metals in both strength and versatile use, it was still expensive to make. Nezu was the one to talk. "Well, that's an interesting and unexpected request, but it's doable. It's the least that we can do after your actions at the Entrance Exam… Besides, it's our sponsors that will have to take care of it," Nezu finished with a sadistic chuckle.

Izuku smiled warily, though he inwardly was jumping from happiness that they actually accepted his request. "I guess that we're finished here?"

Nezu nodded. "Yes, thank you again for coming here, Midoriya-san. I look forward to having you with us in the coming years."

Izuku nodded with a smile and turned toward Midnight. "Um, Midnight… would you please give me your autograph?" He said, handing her one of his notebooks.

Midnight gave him a warm smile as she took the notebook from him. "Of course~," she said before she opened the notebook and signed it. She paused for a moment, reading something before a sultry smirk adorned her face.

Midnight took a step closer to him, a hand on her hips. "You have a lot of interesting notes on my quirk," she said before she pointed to a drawing of her. "And you're really skilled with your hands, it seems, Midoriya~" she put a finger on her lower lips, drawing Izuku's eyes to her plump pink lips. "You see, you can say that I'm a sort of art connoisseur~. I might have you draw me again. You don't mind, do you? Me modelling for you~"

Izuku gulped, his face completely red. "I-I guess…" He was seriously not used to this level of teasing before.

Midnight's eyes travelled to something else on the page, widening her eyes. "Ara ara~ what do we have here?"

My first ara ara! Izuku shouted in his mind before he shook his head. Focus!

"Interesting notes you have here, Midoriya~. 'Sexy and beautiful like an angel' and 'One of the most beautiful Pro Heroes'?"

Izuku's face was literally glowing at this point. He had forgotten that he'd sometimes leave notes on his drawings. "I…I-I" he really had no idea what to say at all. He simply hid behind his hands, sweating buckets.

Midnight let out a musical laugh at that. "My, your reactions are really amusing, Midoriya! I really look forward to teaching you this year~."

Izuku only buried his face into his hands as Nana joined in laughing at him. He felt that this was going to be a long year.

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Nejire was bored out of her mind. It was the last day of vacation before the start of the next school year, and she was doing nothing! Mirio was training. Again. While Nejire didn't mind training, as she did that a lot with both Izuku and Mirio, that didn't mean that she wanted to spend every single day training. Especially not the last day just before school started again.

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Tamaki was… Tamaki. He wasn't one to do something fun unless someone forced him to, and today he was busy with his mother's birthday.

Scratch Scratch Scratch

That was why Nejire was lying on top of Izuku's bed, in his room, bored out of her mind. It wasn't like Izuku was her last choice, far from it, but rather that she hadn't spent that much time with her other friends compared to Izuku and she sought them out first.

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Izuku was sitting on his desk drawing and writing something in his notebook. Nejire had tried to question him, being as curious as ever, but Izuku just waved her off as he continued working so she just chose to sit on the bed until he finished. She was aware of her best friend's habits. Once he was absorbed in something, then his sole focus would be on it until he finished. It was most likely that he didn't even register that he talked with her while he was working, and since there was nothing urgent, all she could do was wait for him until he finished.

Scratch Scratch Scratch

Nejire pouted as she looked at Izuku's back. For someone as energetic as her, sitting down for a long while and doing nothing was like torture. She had already read everything that Izuku had, and he wasn't big on mystery novels, her favourite genre, so he didn't have any of the latest releases for her to read. And Nana was with Inko since the two of them had struck a friendship of sorts and liked to spend time together from time to time, so there was nothing for her to do or someone to talk to.

Scratch Scratch Click

Finally! Nejire perked up as she saw Izuku put his pen down, apparently having finished whatever he was working on. She nearly teleported to his side in her excitement.

"So, what were you working on, Izu-kun?"

She watched with an amused look as Izuku jumped in surprise, staring at her in shock. "Nejire? Since when did you get here?"

She looked up to him as he was taller than her. "I've been here for nearly an hour, Izu-kun."

"S-Sorry I didn't notice," he said sheepishly.

She giggled at him. "I know what you're like when you get absorbed into something," she said before she gestured toward the closed notebook, the one she knew was exclusively for Izuku's quirk. "What were you working on?"

Izuku picked up the notebook and opened it to a particular page that had designs and notes for several objects.

"Well, I was working on the final design for my staff, the enchantments that I'm going to use on them, and writing notes to explain some stuff to the design team in the support companies working with U.A. and Power Loader."

Nejire looked at the designs, appreciating her friend's talent for drawing. "Those are really amazing, Izu-kun, but… Will they really let you have all those support items?"

Izuku smirked at her, giving her his I-Know-Something-That-You-Don't look, causing butterflies in her stomach. She forced her blush down at seeing his smirk, choosing instead to pout at him.

Izuku simply chuckled. "I've already asked Nezu the other day, so it won't be a problem. Besides, I have an idea for them that I've been working on for months, so carrying them all won't really be a problem," he said, not really explaining what he actually had in mind, making her pout harder.

After a moment, he sighed. "It's not like I don't want to tell you, Nejire. It's just that I'm leaving it as a surprise."

"Not even me~?" She asked, leaning slightly forward with her big eyes wide open.

She saw Izuku falter for a moment, making her internally smirk, but he seemed to manage to ignore her pout and big baby eyes after a moment as he shook his head. "It's a surprise, but you'll be the first person to see it as soon as I get it, okay?"

Nejire pouted for a moment before she finally conceded. "Fine…" Then her expression changed to a bright one as she accosted Izuku, getting into his personal space. "However, now that you've finished… We need to go out somewhere, and I won't take no for an answer!"

Izuku held up his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright. Where do you wanna go?"

Nejire put a finger on her chin, biting her lower lip for a moment before she got an idea. "How about we go to the arcade?"

▬▬ι═══════

Arcades were always a popular thing in Japan. Back when quirks didn't exist, even when the interest in them waned in other countries and they were seen as a thing of the past, they never lost popularity here.. Most people had been to an arcade at least once, and it was a widespread hangout for middle-schoolers and high-schoolers back then.

At one point, after a certain pandemic, most arcades in Japan suffered and were forced to close. However, after the emergence of quirks and society descending into anarchy, many companies and industries suffered or even disappeared at the time. Laptops, computers, and smartphones took a massive hit with many companies going under, their prices rising because of a shortage in both staff and resources and the dangers in society. The use of laptops or expensive portable devices went down as many criminals targeted those who had them on themselves in the streets. Having a laptop or a smartphone only invited thieves and danger. That along with them getting more and more expensive resulted in a decrease in their popularity and availability.

Even during such dangerous times, however, people still needed to be entertained and desired to escape their daily troubles somewhere. At such times, when mobile devices became rarer and more expensive than most could afford, arcades saw their chance. Arcades that had managed to survive or those that managed to hold on to their machines after they closed soon found themselves back in business. Companies that made such machines also rose as they cost much, much less to build than modern computers and provided enough entertainment for everyone.

These arcades remained popular to this day, and they were now inside one such arcade.

Nejire herself was wearing a yellow skater dress that reached above her knees with white slip-on sneakers. Her periwinkle hair was done in its usual style.

She snuck a look at Izuku, checking him out. Izuku wore a dark green shirt with black slim-fit pants and white slip-on sneakers with green highlights. His thick fluffy hair was done in its now usual style with a long messy ponytail that reached just above his knees! His face was framed with long bangs, and his curly hair was just impossibly wild and fluffy that messy wild bangs stuck out from everywhere, making his hair look like a mane.

Nejire was really jealous of Izuku's hair even if she was the first one to encourage him to let it grow and not cut it. Just imagining running her fingers through his locks made her blush, which brought to her attention the looks of appreciation that the girls around them were sending to Izuku, not noticing the looks she was getting from both girls and boys. The looks made her pout and step closer to Izuku. Sneaking another glance, she saw Izuku looking away from her at the same moment, with a faint blush on his cheeks, making her smile brightly.

The arcade that they went to was a very big and famous one. It not only had typical arcade games but also all kinds of Electro-mechanical games, carnival games, and even sports games! The more adult-ordinated side also had Pachinko and other similar games.

Nejire's eyes sparkled as often as they did whenever she went to the arcade. She couldn't wait to try them all.

"So, which game do you want to try first?" Izuku asked her with humour in his voice. He clearly noticed her excitement, even though they came here often enough, which made her blush a little.

"How about we start with Table Tennis?" She said with a smirk knowing that she was better than him at it. She wanted to get back at him for his teasing. She was the one supposed to tease him!

Izuku sighed and resigned himself to a resounding defeat. "Okay," he said.

After Nejire crushed Izuku at Table Tennis, they continued on with other games. They played Air Hockey after that, followed by Whack-a-mole, shooting range, and finished with Punch Machine before they took a quick break. After that, they continued competing in one game after the other. While Nejire beat Izuku at some games and managed to compete against him in others, she had no chance when it came to video games with Izuku being the leading high scorer in some of them. It didn't matter to Nejire really, so long as she was having fun, and spending time with him.

After a few more games, they took another break to eat lunch at the restaurant attached to the arcade. Each of them chose a quick snack with some type of juice before they continued on with their fun.

Nejire had the brightest smile on her face as she navigated the arcade, playing every game she saw. From time to time, she'd get butterflies in her stomach and her face would heat up as her mind would think how similar this was to a real date. Which this totally wasn't!

"What the!? Who the hell is 'Creati42'? They beat my high score at Street Fighter XXVII!" Izuku exclaimed in shock at seeing his score beaten in his most favourite game.

Nejire giggled as she saw Izuku's eyes harden, gaining a determined look as he stepped forward. It was almost as if he was preparing to fight a dangerous villain.

"Nejire…" he trailed off, but Nejire knew what he wanted to do.

Holding back her giggle, Nejire nodded slowly with her most serious face. "It's fine, Izuku. Go and get your place back," she said with the tone of a woman sending her man to war as she patted his back.

Izuku gave her a grateful smile. "Alright, let's see if you can beat this, Creati42!" He exclaimed as started his battle.

Nejire broke out laughing as she stepped away. Taking her chance, she went to check out the new Dance Dance Revolution S99 that she hadn't tried before since Izuku wasn't a fan. She hoped to find someone to challenge.

As soon as she reached the machine, another person stepped forward at the same time. Nejire gave the person a once-over.

It was a girl of medium height, with light pink skin, square-shaped eyes with black sclera and yellow irises, and notably long eyelashes. Her lovely face was framed by short, fluffy and unruly pink hair, slightly darker than her skin's. She had two thin, pale yellow horns protruding from her head.

The girl wore a dark pink off-the-shoulder top with the word PINKY written in yellow, a pair of denim shorts that showed her healthy thighs, and denim slip-on sneakers with ankle-high mesh socks.

All in all, the girl simply looked gorgeous with an exotic beauty given her unusual appearance. Nejire's work with another gorgeous woman like Ryuko had opened her eyes to the fact that she played for both sides, so she appreciated the girl in front of her, her cheeks matching the girl's skin.

Of course, though, this was Nejire, so everything gave way to pure curiosity with no filter.

Nejire moved closer to the girl, leaning forward with stars in her eyes.

"Wow! Are you going to dance too? Want to challenge me? What's your name? Mine is Nejire Hado, nice to meet you! Are those horns real? What is your quirk? Your skin looks really smooth and the colour is really exotic, you're really beautiful! Is it related to your quirk? Do you have a mutant quirk? Can I touch your hair? It just looks so fluffy! Reminds me of Izu-kun's hair. I really like your clothes, and your eyes look so pretty! Do you know how to dance?"

The girl seemed shocked at first before her expression gave to a wide grin with clear amusement in her eyes. She cocked her hips to one side, putting a hand on her hip while the index finger of the other was on her lower lip.

"Why thank you, Nejire-chan!" She said happily. "I must say that you look gorgeous yourself,'' she said with a sultry tone that made Nejire's face beet red as she realised that she had let slip some of her thoughts. The girl's tone went back to a friendly manner as she introduced herself. "My name is Mina Ashido, nice to meet you too! Yes, I don't mind challenging you to dance, and yes, my skin is a result of my quirk, but not the horns. I won't tell you my quirk, a girl's gotta keep a secret after all," she said with a wink. "If you think you can dance, then hop on and let's start, cutie!"

Nejire smiled as she joined the girl on the machine to start their dance challenge. Dancing was something that Nejire was good at and enjoyed, so she was confident in her chances against the new girl, Mina.

Fifteen minutes later, Nejire was pouting as Mina managed to annihilate her in every round. The girl was simply a natural at dancing, and no matter how good Nejire was, Mina was simply much better.

Mina giggled as she patted her shoulder. "Sorry, Nejire-chan. It was a good match, but I've been the high scorer here for seven years straight."

Nejire's eyes widened. "Wait! You're Alien Queen69! I've wanted to challenge you for a long time!"

Mina smiled proudly as she gestured at herself. "In the flesh!"

"No wonder I lost," said Nejire with a pout.

Mina lifted her face up by the chin. "Hey, none of that! You were really good yourself! I don't mind challenging you more often and teaching you a few things!"

"Really? That's really nice, Mina-chan!"

Before they could talk more, a voice interrupted them. "Ah, here you are, Nejire. I figured I'd find you here," said Izuku as he approached them.

"Oh? And who might this handsome specimen be?" Mina said as she stepped forward, a little more into Izuku's personal space than Nejire liked.

Izuku himself looked down at the unknown girl. Nejire saw him look her up and down once before he looked back into her face, his cheeks slightly red. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you. Who might you be? I don't think we've met before; I'd remember someone with pretty eyes like this. They're like the night sky with stars in them," he said smoothly in a matter-of-fact tone.

Nejire palmed her face as Izuku once again unintentionally flirted with girls.

Mina herself blinked twice before she smiled brightly at him. "Why thank you~ Aren't you a smooth one? I'm Mina Ashido by the way."

"Nice to meet you, Ashido-san," he said before he tilted his head. "And… smooth? What did you mean?" he asked confusedly.

Mina blinked again before she leaned back to whisper into Nejire's ear. "Is he for real?"

Nejire snickered. "Very. I have no idea how he does it. Izu-kun can randomly be kind of unintentional flirt without realising it."

Mina giggled at that. "Oh~ I see~," she said in a mischievous tone. Mina looked back at Izuku. "Nothing, but please, call me Mina, not Ashido." She then looked between them. "Is he your boyfriend?" Mina suddenly asked her.

Both her face and Izuku's went beet red. "N-NO!" they said at the same time. "Izu-kun is just my friend! We've known each other for years!" Nejire hastily clarified. Neither would look at the other.

Mina's face showed that she still held some scepticism, but she seemed to drop the matter.

"We still have some time, want to accompany us, Mina-chan?" Asked Nejire hoping to change the subject.

Mina smiled. "Sure!"

The three of them continued going from one game to another. Mina proved to be great company. She was quite kind, cheerful, and easily excitable, much like Nejire. She easily got along with them with her charm and social skills, although she sometimes was a little bit flirtatious and mischievous. And Nejire couldn't complain since it was aimed at both her and Izuku!

In the next few hours that they spent together, they found that they quite liked being friends and going out together. They challenged each other to games and talked about many things. Izuku didn't seem to mind her at all, although he was intrigued by her appearance and quirk, same as Nejire, though he didn't have any more luck getting Mina to tell her secret. He did start muttering some possibilities much to her amusement though. Mina didn't seem to mind it at all and even found his muttering cute.

Izuku at some point stopped at the Claw Crane machine to get some souvenirs for all of them. He got an All Might plushie, like always, while he got her a green dragon that she asked for. Mina on the other hand asked for a Midnight one and thanked Izuku with a quick hug. Izuku didn't seem to notice the hostile glares that he got from other boys around them as he got hugged by two girls as thanks.

They were nearing the end of their fun when Mina mentioned something that caught their attention.

"You're going to go to U.A?" asked Nejire excitedly.

Mina nodded proudly with a happy smile. "Yup! I passed the Entrance Exam and got in!"

Nejire clasped her hands together. "That's great! I'm starting my third year at U.A. tomorrow, and Izu-kun also passed the Entrance Exam!"

Mina's eyes widened at that before her smile widened even further. "No way! You guys both will be at U.A. with me! That's really great."

"Yup," Izuku said, popping the P. "Maybe we'll even be in the same class."

Mina nodded happily. "That'd be awesome! I'm glad that my new friends will be with me in the same school. You guys are really cool and fun, I didn't want this to be the only time we hang out or meet!" she said looking in another direction for a moment before perking up even more. She linked her arms with Nejire's and Izuku's and dragged them towards a specific direction.

"Come on, let's go take a photo to remember this day, Nejire-chan, Midori!" She exclaimed, dragging them toward a photo booth.

"Midori?" asked Izuku.

"Yup~ that's what I decided to call you. All my friends have nicknames or pet names!"

Izuku simply shrugged at that.

Soon, they were all seated inside the small room of the photo booth. Izuku was in the middle, with both her and Mina at either side of him. The space was tight, so both girls were pressed against him. Nejire smirked at his blushing face, though she knew hers wasn't any better.

"Damn, Midori. Your hair is even fluffier than mine! Now I want to play with it!"

Izuku could only stammer at that, as Nejire nodded in agreement.

A few minutes later they were out of the booth with several strips of pics that they'd taken inside.

Mina held up hers proudly. "This will immortalise the day the best heroes of U.A. met together!" She declared confidently before she looked at Izuku. "Midori! Nejire-chan is already a third-year student, but tomorrow we'll both be first years! We'll take U.A. together with a storm, ya hear?"

Izuku chuckled before he smirked confidently, his eyes shining like they did whenever he was feeling serious or competitive. "Of course, Mina. My dream is to surpass All Might after all."

"Hoo~ I like your confidence, Midori."

"You guys will do fine," said Nejire. "Just hope that you don't get Aizawa-sensei."

They both tilted their heads in confusion. "Aizawa? Why?"

Nejire grimaced as she remembered what happened last year, and her short interactions with said teacher during her days at U.A. "He's really grumpy, and last year he expelled an entire class on the first day claiming that they didn't have any potential. I've heard that Nezu forbade him from doing it again, but he could still probably expel a student or two."

"He expelled an entire class on the first day?" asked Izuku in disbelief.

"Wow, dude sounds like a real jerk," said Mina with a shudder. "I hope that we don't get him. Isn't it his job to teach us? Like, what kind of person would decide that a couple of dozen students had no potential on the first day?"

"If I had to guess? He's probably a no-nonsense hardass and the students just fooled around all class." Izuku put forward, as always, trying to give people the benefit of the doubt. "Still, on the first day? He could have given them detention or something like that."

Nejire nodded. She didn't dislike people easily, but Aizawa wasn't on her list of likeable people from what she heard about him, as well as her short interactions with him. She also heard some troubling things about the expelled students. Being expelled from school was a serious thing, and from a place like U.A.? Nejire shuddered at the thought.

"Well, what are the odds that we'll get him anyway," said Mina, obviously trying to change the mood.

Something that Izuku didn't catch as he replied. "There are only two classes for the Hero Course, so it's a 50-50 chance. Knowing my luck…" He ducked his head, remembering the numerous random villain attacks he'd happened to get caught in, "Probably 100%..."

Mina pouted at him, sending him a half-hearted glare as she lightly punched his shoulder. "Dammit, Midori!"

Izuku lightly chuckled at her reaction.

"Well, anyway. I guess I'll be seeing you guys tomorrow. I need to go now!" said Mina as she gave them two quick hugs. "Here is my contact info!" she said as she took out her phone and made Izuku and Nejire do it too. "Don't be shy to talk to me, guys! Bye~" she said as she ran off.

Nejire and Izuku both followed suit, going back to Izuku's house for dinner before it was time for Izuku to drop her off at her house. Nejire was smiling from ear to ear as she skipped back to the Midoriya's. Today was really fun, and Nejire loved it.

PS: I decided to moderate comments on FFN, because some guest randomly decided that my fics are the place for him to leave his trash-ass essays in several long-ass comments.

I don't know what the guy was smoking, but I don't really recommend whatever it is.

AN:

Well, another chapter and faster than expected. Please don't get used to that.

Several reasons contributed for the fast update:

1- My muse wanted this, and I could do nothing but follow.

2- Wanted to end the Pre-AU arc.

3- With this, I'm officially crossing the 250K words milestone for words posted (total words for all fics), so yay! And before the new year too!

Anyway, on to the chapter itself.

U.A. staff hold a meeting to discuss what happened while support companies take the blame for the 'malfunctioning' robot. This scene happens in the early morning.

MLA now have their eyes on Izuku AND Bakugo. I wonder what their plans are for them.

Same time, HPSC approached Rumi and strong-armed her into becoming a teacher at U.A. She's basically AM's assistant in Hero Studies. I'm certain no one expected this!

The same day, but later, Izuku meets Rumi again, and she's secretly an Otaku, then goes to U.A.

All Might and Nana finally meet for the first time! And since quirks are bullshit and Nana's vestige is inside OFA… Well, Nana is now very much alive in her new small body, fused with the 'Nana' that was before meeting AM. Now, I wonder who guessed what effect Nana moving to her new body would have on OFA.

Nezu and Izuku talk, and he gets a nice reward for his actions!

Criotrium is the fantasy metal of this fic. Now, I'm shit at coming up with names, so I just used a generator and used the first name that I liked. It's a relatively new type of metal in bnha world, and it'll be Izuku's best choice for his quirk. If anyone has a different, better name, I don't mind changing it.

Izuku puts the finishing touches on his support item (or items) final design. I won't spoil what Izuku's will be, but I'll say that he'll have a staff somewhere there. Though it won't debut until USJ.

Then we have Nejire's and Izuku's, not a date. If you're curious about Izuku's hair and style of clothes, then check out Fate!Merlin's casual clothes pics. Izuku has a similar style and the same hair but a bit fluffier and, well, greener.

Mina meets the childhood friends for the first time, and the three share a fun day together, becoming fast friends. We also see Izuku's accidental flirt mode that you might see from time to time, especially when Izuku ISN'T nervous or in some kind of tense situation.

Nejire warns them about Aizawa. Again, since I got a few comments about it. The tag is going merely by canon Aizawa's actions, this is even more so when I'm not doing the bullshit retcon so Aizawa didn't re-enrol those he expelled in the past. There won't be bashing, but Aizawa will suffer the consequences of his actions, and it won't be swept under the rug like canon.

Anyway, with this, the PRE-AU arc is finished. Updates will certainly be slower now (depending on my muse really) for a while, so don't expect what happened in the last 3 chapters to happen again. Sorry.

Anyway, hope that you liked the chapter. Please follow, favourite and review.
