Chapter 6

Today was his first day at U.A. so there was nothing that could dampen his mood. Well, except for possibly seeing Bakugō in school, but he hoped that they didn't end up in the same class together - He wasn't holding his breath though, as they've shared class since they were in Kindergarten. With them finishing school before they even took the Entrance Exam to U.A, he had managed to avoid seeing Bakugō, especially after he got his letter. No doubt Bakugō had gotten his results, and the explosive teen was surely furious that not only had Izuku outscored him, but he had actually barely passed the exam. He didn't want to fight him right now since it would lead to him using his quirk. He didn't want to get in trouble right now that he was accepted into U.A.

Izuku stopped his musing as he just finished eating his breakfast. He stood up and washed the dishes that he used before he got his backpack from his room to get on his way. Nejire was going with Mirio and Tamaki to U.A. so it was only Izuku and Nana, who took a spot on Izuku's shoulder as her seat with some of his locks wrapped around her body.

"Izuku! Have you got your pocket tissues!?" asked a worried Inko.

"Yeah."

"And your handkerchief? Have you got that?"

"Yes, I've got it, mom!"

"Izuku!"

Izuku sighed as he looked back at his mother. She had a proud smile on her face, with tears beginning at the corners of her eyes. "You look great…"

Izuku smiled at her, "Thanks Mom!" he said before he left the house, "See you later!"

"Only 1 in 300 applicants gets in each year," Izuku murmured to himself as he ran through the building. "Only 40 students to a grade, divided into two classes."

He finally had found the door for his class. It was truly gigantic, standing about four times his height. There was a big '1' with a big 'A' underneath it written on the door. "Found it… What a giant door…" he marvelled at it. 'Probably has to be accessible to everyone no matter their quirk.'

There were all kinds of quirks out there with various effects, especially mutant-type quirks that might transform the person's body into all kinds of shapes and sizes.

'I only hope the glasses-wearing guy and Bakugō aren't in my class,' thought Izuku as he entered the class.

"Remove your feet from that desk! Such action is insulting to those who came to U.A. before us as well as the craftsmen who made the desk!"

"You think I fucking care? What middle school are you from, you extra?"

'Ah… of course, they're both here…'

"You know, you might have a second quirk called 'Bad Luck'," quipped Nana, making Izuku roll his eyes at her teasing. He was glad that she was back to her old self, almost. Something had changed about her since they'd met All Might in Nezu's office, and she wasn't talking so far. One thing that he did know was that she was now capable of using a quirk that she supposedly had when she was alive, Float, though a much stronger version according to her.

The glasses-wearing boy was clearly taken aback by Bakugō's attitude. "I-I'm from Somei Private Academy!" he said as he introduced himself robotically. "My name is Tenya Iida!"

"Somei." Bakugō's disdain could never be any more obvious. "A damn stuck-up elite then?" he allowed a vicious smirk. "I should blow you to bits then!"

Iida took a step back, visibly horrified by Bakugō's words. The poor boy probably never had to deal with the likes of Bakugō. "You're awful! Is that the attitude of someone who truly wants to be a hero?" He then seemed to notice Izuku as he made his way toward him.

Izuku sighed. 'Just what does he want to complain about this time?' he thought, remembering the judgmental attitude the glasses-wearing teen had on the day of the Entrance Exam.

However, before Iida could say anything. He was interrupted as two voices called out Izuku's name.

"Izuku-chan!/Midori!"

The first voice was much softer and shyer than the latter. Izuku blinked as two girls stepped in between Iida and him, acting as if the guy with a stick up his ass wasn't there. Both of them looked great in their school uniform, and Izuku managed to tear his eyes from their thick thighs before he stared at them for too long… Seriously, why was it that every girl that he met had beautiful thicc thighs? That wasn't good for his heart!

He smiled widely at them as both of them were a welcome sight after the disappointment that was having both Iida and Bakugō in his class.

The two girls blinked as they eyed each other in surprise. Mina was the first to talk. "Ah, you know Midori too?"

Kinoko blushed lightly as she took a step back, her head dropping down. She touched her index fingers together as she explained shyly. "I-I met Izuku-chan in the Entrance Exam…"

Mina's eyes narrowed for a moment before she smiled brightly. "Well, I, myself, only met Midori yesterday. I'm Mina Ashido, nice to meet you," she said as she extended her hand to the shy girl.

Kinoko looked uncertain for a moment before she shook her hand. "I'm Kinoko Komori, nice to meet you too."

"Well, good morning to you, Mina-san, Kinoko-san," said Izuku, happy that they seemed to be getting along. From the short time he spent with Mina yesterday, he got the feeling that she'd be a great help to his shy friend.

He was immediately poked in the cheek by Mina. "What is with this 'san' business? Call me Mina only!" she said with a pout.

Izuku's cheeks dusted red as he chuckled, raising his arms in surrender. "As you wish, Mina."

He was rewarded with a wide smile from Mina. "Good boy~," she purred before her smile got wider. "Glad that we're in the same class, Midori!" getting a nod from Izuku. It was always nice to have familiar faces in class unless it was the scowling face of Bakugō of course.

Meanwhile, Iida stared at the scene with an open mouth. 'Am I getting completely ignored?' He thought, mortified.

Another teen was fuming as he glared at Izuku. 'Who the hell are these two? Why are they acting buddy-buddy with Deku? Then he turned his attention to his nemesis/rival/former friend and arch-enemy. 'How the fuck did Deku score that much on the Entrance Exam? How the fuck did he outscore me!?'

"Um, Izuku-chan…" said Kinoko as she pointed at his shoulder. "Why do you have a doll on your shoulder?"

"It's a figurine, not a doll!" Izuku exclaimed.

'Seriously? How many people are going to call Nana a doll!?'

"Keep telling yourself that."

Izuku deadpanned at her. "It's you that they're talking about, you know."

"Ok, Midori," interjected Mina. "HOW THE HELL YOUR DOLL IS TALKING!?"

Before he could explain, however. "If you're here to socialize, then go home!" All of them jumped before they turned toward the classroom's door. On the ground was a giant yellow caterpillar-like creature.

"Ah!" Mina exclaimed. "A wild caterpillar suddenly appeared!"

The caterpillar suddenly stood up, and the face from what Izuku now could tell was a sleeping bag was certainly unamused by the reference. 'Hmm, maybe a Digimon fan?' The man that the face belonged to stepped out of the sleeping bag as if he were shedding his skin with an energy drink in hand.

The man was slender and tall, pale-skinned with messy, shoulder-length black hair with half-opened dead black eyes. A stubble in an unkempt state that adorned his face was in tone with his fatigued and worn-out appearance. He wore a baggy black outfit that consisted of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that he tucked into his boots. He also wore a utility belt and a wrap scarf.

'Who the hell is this bum? The janitor?' Was the thought shared by most people in the classroom.

"This is the Hero Course," the voice was just as bland as his appearance. "It took eight seconds for you to calm down, and you felt the need to make an unnecessary reference… Time is a precious resource. You lot aren't very rational, are you?"

The man strode towards where a teacher would stand, making them figure out that this homeless-looking guy was actually their teacher.

'I wonder which Pro Hero he is. I don't think I have ever seen him before.' Thought Izuku.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Shōta Aizawa. Pleased to meet you," he said in the most insincere tone ever. "Quickly now, change into your gym clothes, and head to the grounds."

Izuku and Mina paled as they exchanged looks. Only one thought was on their mind.

'Ah, shit..'

▬▬ι═══════

"A Quirk Assessment Test?" The students said in confusion after hearing their teacher.

"But what about the entrance ceremony or the guidance sessions?" A cute girl with short brown hair, pale skin, large brown eyes, and two permanent blushes on her cheeks asked as she pressed her fingers together. Izuku noticed that she had what looked like little pads on them.

"A waste of time for you if you really want to become heroes," Aizawa replied without care, making Izuku raise an eyebrow. Nejire had warned him about this man, but the guy looked like he didn't even want to be there. "Our school prides itself on its 'freestyle' system of education, and that applies to the teachers as well," he said as if that explained anything.

"The softball throw, the fifty-meter dash, consecutive side-steps, endurance running, grip strength, the standing long-jump, seated toe touches, and sit-ups. You all did these in middle school but were never allowed to use your Quirks. It isn't rational, but the Department of Education and procrastinating go hand in hand," he said in obvious disgust. "Midoriya," he suddenly called out, surprising Izuku. "You scored first in the Entrance Exam, what's your middle-school score for the softball throw?"

"Ninety-three meters, sir," said Izuku. He might have some problem with this guy being their teacher after what he heard from Nejire, but he wasn't one to be disrespectful without reason.

Aizawa tossed him a small ball. "Let's see what you can do then. As long as you don't step out of that circle, anything goes. Use your quirk and give it your all."

"Federleicht!" muttered Izuku as he decreased the weight of the ball, then he followed with "Jōtōtai!" to massively increase his strength as his body was surrounded by a barely noticeable light green hue. 'One last thing.' He thought as he stepped forward, and chucked the ball as hard as he could, expelling pure energy from his arm to push the throw even further as the ground beneath him cracked slightly.

A shockwave rocked the students nearby as the ball broke the sound barrier moving at incredible speed. Izuku winced, hoping that no one was on the other end about to get hit by his ball. 'U.A. student kills a man by a stray ball on his first day', not a headline that Izuku wanted to be featured in.

The class, except for Kinoko and Iida who were at the same exam site, stared in shock as Aizawa held his reader showing Izuku's score of 2153 meters. "The first step in figuring out the kind of hero that you'll be is knowing your limit."

The class erupted in cheers as Mina exclaimed happily. "I can't believe we get to use our quirks from the start! This is going to be fun!"

At once, a sense of dread enveloped them all as the temperature dropped a few degrees. "Fun?" Aizawa's tone was both mocking and disgusted, and Izuku had a bad feeling as he saw the teacher's expression. "You're all hoping to become heroes here after three years and you think it'll be all fun and games?" The teacher looked downright sinister as he continued. "Alright then, the one with the lowest score across all eight events will be judged as worthless and will be sent back home, never to return again," he said before his eyes flashed red for a moment. "Your fate is in our hands, welcome… to the U.A HERO COURSE!"

'Seriously? Is this guy right in the head? Who the hell expels students on the first day just because they scored the lowest in stupid physical tests?' Izuku thought as he made his way back, standing near Mina and Kinoko.

Mina looked guilty, probably thinking that this was her fault. Izuku disagreed, from what Nejire told them, this guy here was a jerk who either wanted to stop people from becoming heroes or only wanted students that were already Pro level in all but name because he was lazy. How else would someone explain him expelling an entire class last year on the first day, ruining their lives? This was Japan after all.

Kinoko on the other hand looked really worried and nervous which reminded him of how she was at the Entrance Exam. Izuku put a hand on her shoulder, making her turn towards him, so he gave her his best encouraging smile. Kinoko blushed for a moment before she nodded, her eyes narrowing in determination.

The girl from earlier stepped forward. "What?" she exclaimed. "This is the first day and we're already risking expulsion? That's not fair!" she said, getting nods of agreement from almost anyone. Izuku didn't know her name, but he had to admit that the girl had the guts to say that to the scary-looking teacher.

"Fair?" Aizawa scoffed. "Natural disasters, freak accidents… rampaging villains… the world isn't fair at all. Calamity is always around the corner, and who is there to correct such unfairness but us heroes?" He continued. "If you're here planning to hang out and go to Karaoke for the next three years then, you're in for a rude awakening, kids. U.A. will run you through the wringer to prepare you for what's coming… Plus Ultra!"

"Trial by fire, huh?" said Iida, who was drinking an energy drink. Izuku blinked, wondering where he got one. "That's what you'd expect from the top."

"That's more like it!" Exclaimed Bakugō with a savage grin.

Izuku narrowed his eyes at Aizawa. "We all got here through the Entrance Exam over everyone else, there is no way anyone here will go out without a fight," he said in determination.

Their attitude and words seemed to bolster everyone else in the class, making Izuku smile.

"We'll see. Now that the demonstration is over, let's get it done. First is the fifty-meter dash," he said as he led them toward the tracks. "This will be done in groups of two," he said before he called up the first group. "Ochako Uraraka and Kōji Kōda."

The first was the same cute girl from earlier, but the second person was a tall wide guy with peach-coloured skin and a head that looked like an unevenly shaped rock. Izuku had no idea what his quirk was, but he could tell by the boy's mannerisms that he was really shy.

The girl seemed to touch her clothes for some reason as they stood in the line, but Izuku couldn't see any changes. The other boy only readied himself without doing anything. At the signal, both of them started running though Izuku didn't see any obvious quirk used from either of them, so he figured that both had quirks that didn't work in this test.

Ochako Uraraka: 7.15 seconds.

Kōji Kōda: 6.85 seconds.

The next to step up were Mina and a guy called Kaminari Denki had short blond hair, parted to the right with a black lightning-shaped streak on the left of his side fringe, fair skin, and golden eyes. He looked slimmer than most guys in class, but he was in no way a twig.

Mina took off her shoes, and as soon as the signal was given, both of them shot forward. Mina used her quirk, which he still had no idea what it was, to skate the whole track using a slick-looking liquid. Izuku already had his notebook in hand, waiting until Mina got back so he'd question her more.

Kaminari on the other hand didn't use anything, or at least there was no sign of him using his quirk, so Izuku figured that it was another case of a quirk not being useful in such a situation which made the whole expulsion thing stupid in Izuku's opinion. The results were:

Mina: 4.92 seconds.

Kaminari: 6.34 seconds.

"That was great, Mina!" Izuku congratulated her on her performance as soon as she was back. "What's your quirk though? It's clear that you can generate and manipulate some kind of liquid, but I couldn't tell from afar."

Mina smiled as she explained her quirk. "My quirk is Acid. It allows me to produce a corrosive liquid from my body. I can control the solubility and viscosity of these liquids. There is a limit to how long I can produce it though before my skin gradually loses its natural resistance to it."

"Wow, that's an amazing quirk, Mina," exclaimed Izuku excitedly as he started writing what she said in his notebook with Mina watching amusedly. "I wonder if you increase your skin's natural resistance. How many really terrifying acids you could use, or maybe you can manipulate the acid in the human's body mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble-"

He was cut off by a slap on the head courtesy of Nana. Apparently, she had grown tired of snapping him out of his mumble sprees each time that she decided using her leg or arm was more than enough for that.

Izuku stopped, his cheeks pinking a little as both Kinoko, who was nearby, and Mina started giggling. He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, I really like quirks, and I can forget myself when talking."

"Do you do that a lot? And that mumbling," asked an amused Mina.

"Yeah, it's sort of a habit, sorry. I know that most people are creeped out by it."

Kinoko waved him off. "It's not creepy, Izuku-chan. I think it's cool how passionate you are about quirks."

Mina nodded. "Yeah, you're already analysing and writing notes about my quirk, and I think I heard a thing or two that I might discuss with you later if you don't mind," she said before she winked. "I also think it's kind of cute~"

Izuku blushed lightly. "Thanks, and yeah, I'd love to discuss your quirk, Mina. I'm not sure how much of help I'd be though, my notes aren't-"

"Don't listen to this humble dork," Nana cut him off, drawing the attention of both Kinoko and Mina. "This guy has an impressive knack for analysing quirks and many wonderful ideas. He has been doing it for years, and it's certainly on a level that he could've chosen to be a quirk counsellor or something like that and he'd have killed it. Izuku is just really bad at appreciating his own work."

Both girls blinked for a moment. "Oh," said Mina before she looked at Izuku again. "Speaking of which, you didn't tell us what exactly this speaking doll is."

"Nana isn't a do-" he was cut off as Aizawa called his name as it was apparently his turn now to run. He grimaced to see that it was Bakugō who was the other runner, though he was intrigued by his expression. Aside from his scowling face, which was Bakugō's default expression most of the time, there was a hint of question in his eyes. He was looking at Izuku, while scowling, like a puzzle he was trying to figure out.

Izuku was confused for a moment before he got it. Bakugō didn't know the full function of his quirk and had no idea what it really did. Over the years, Izuku only used the base function of his quirk whenever Bakugō or anyone that wasn't his mom, Nejire, and later Ryukyu and Yu were around. The display of physical strength from before must have shocked him and made him grow suspicious of Izuku. He knew that once Bakugō discovered that Izuku didn't tell him everything about his quirk, he'd grow angry and lash out, but that didn't matter to him.

'I have no obligation to tell him anything about my quirk. If he wants to be pissed, then he can sod it.' Thought Izuku.

"Velox Motus," he murmured under his breath as they both took their places on the starting line.

Bakugō used his explosions to propel himself and enhance his speed, while Izuku on the other hand ran as fast as he could. Which was fast, faster than everyone before him. His previous enchantment was still working, and coupled with his speed enhancement made for a dangerous combination. The ground under his feet cracked when Izuku launched himself forward at incredible speed. The result was that Bakugō finished the race in 4.13 seconds while Izuku finished in an astonishing 1.24 seconds.

"Holy shit, Midori!" Yelled a shocked Mina.

"Yup, that was manly!" Exclaimed a muscular guy with red spiky hair, red eyes and pointed teeth. He also had a small scar just above his right eye.

Some other students agreed dumbly as they stared at Izuku in shock.

Their enthusiasm wasn't shared by another person, however, as said person yelled with all his might. "DEKU!" Izuku turned to see an angry gremlin rushing towards him, sparks and explosions flying around him. "You shitty bastard! What the hell was that? That isn't your quirk! How the hell does energy generation equal to that bullshit you fucker!?"

Izuku readied himself for the coming fight as Bakugō got closer, but it was all for nought as several strips of grey cloth rushed forward, wrapping themselves around the explosive boy's body and preventing him from moving no matter how he struggled.

"The hell? What is this? Why can't I use my quirk?"

"They're special capture weapons made of carbon fibre and special metal alloy," said Aizawa as he stepped forward, his hair levitating as if he had gone Super Saiyan with his eyes glowing red. "As for your quirk, I've erased it."

Izuku would've been shocked about Aizawa's true identity if he hadn't done his research on him after Nejire's warning. He'd have been excited to meet such a hero if it wasn't for what he knew and for said hero's attitude throughout the day.

Bakugō had stopped struggling, so Aizawa released him. "Don't force me to use my Quirk to stop a fight again… I have dry eyes," he said monotonously.

"Midoriya, explain your quirk to your classmates and let us be done with this."

Izuku sighed, annoyed that he was forced to explain his quirk. He didn't really mind telling his classmates, but he didn't want to give Bakugō the satisfaction. He decided to just go with the basics for now.

"My quirk is called Enchantment," he said. "The energy that I used earlier, or the one Bakugō talked about, is merely a side effect of my quirk. My quirk lets me basically convert my stamina and lipids into energy, and then I can use that energy to put it in an object with a purpose in mind. Of course, the more complicated the purpose, the more time, training and number of enchantments it needs. I can enchant people too, but it's temporary, which is what I did earlier as I used one to increase my strength and the other to increase my speed."

Everyone started murmuring at that, some of them voicing their own opinion loudly.

"Izuku-chan's quirk is really amazing," said Kinoko as she heard the full explanation for his quirk for the first time.

"Dude, that's cheating! That's like you're a D&D wizard or something!" Denki said loudly as he stared at Izuku in awe, getting nods from some people.

"Man, some quirks are bullshit," said another guy.

"I have to agree that you remind me of mages in fiction, Midoriya-san, like The Sorcerer Supreme, Enchantress, or Irene Belserion," said a beautiful feminine voice, but as Izuku was about to see who it was since they were apparently fans of comic and manga, his attention was grabbed by Bakugō as he stormed away to the side, visibly fuming.

Izuku frowned as he had expected Bakugō to try and fight him again, and he didn't know which reaction was better, but he had a feeling that this wasn't the end of this.

Aizawa ushered him to go back to his place as he called out for the next two competitors. Iida and a guy that had pitch black skin and fluffy white hair that was called Shihai Kuroiro. The guy looked irritated for some reason and stood slightly behind Iida.

As soon as the test started, Iida used his quirk which, while Izuku didn't know its name, he could figure out its function from the engine-like pipes that grew out of his thicker-than-normal calves. Curiously, Kuroiro on the other hand literally dropped into Iida's shadow the moment the race started, without Iida noticing, making Izuku's eyes widen in shock. Just as Iida was about to finish the race, Kuroiro emerged from Iida's shadow startling Iida for a moment as Kuroiro used the momentum to reach the finishing line a moment faster than Iida.

Iida: 3.05 seconds.

Kuroiro: 3.04 seconds.

"H-Hey, that was cheating," said a frowning Iida to Kuroiro. "That wasn't heroic behaviour at all!"

Kuroiro gave him a sly smile. "I simply used my quirk to gain an advantage. Unlike yours, my quirk is no help in physical activities like this, so I chose to make the most of the situation. I did nothing wrong, so get over yourself."

"W-What?" said a flustered Iida, but he didn't get to say more as Aizawa interjected.

"He did nothing against the rules, and used his quirk as I asked."

Iida frowned before he nodded and moved to the side muttering how disgraceful it was that he was third in his own event.

His mood only got more sour as a few moments later, Todoroki managed to finish with an impressive 2.89 seconds using his ice.

The next group was Kinoko and a girl called Kyōka Jirō. Kyōka was a petite, fair-skinned girl with a slender build and onyx eyes sporting an unimpressed gaze. She had short purple hair, but her most eye-catching feature had to be the plug-like earphone jacks hanging from each of her earlobes at the end of two thin cords.

Izuku was slightly worried about Kinoko and how well she'd score, but his worries turned out unfounded. Not only was Kinoko more athletic than she looked, but she used her quirk in a creative way that gave her a boost while running. As she ran, she used her quirk to grow mushrooms fast enough under her feet with each step. The growth of the mushroom and its bounciness gave her a boost that she used to improve her speed, finishing the test in 5.46 seconds.

Kyōka on the other hand didn't seem to have a quirk useful in any way for the dash, so she had to rely on her own physical capabilities getting her a nice score of 6.87 seconds.

"You were amazing out there, Kinoko," Izuku praised the girl as soon as she got back. "The way you used your quirk was really clever!"

Kinoko blushed slightly, busying her index fingers together. "T-Thank you, Izuku-chan."

"Yaoyorozu Momo and Hagakure Toru, step forward," called out Aizawa.

Izuku did a double take as a floating set of clothes moved forward to stand on the line. Apparently, the girl had some kind of invisibility quirk, making Izuku wonder if she could turn it off or on or if she could turn others or objects invisible.

However, it was the second girl that took his breath away. Literally.

The girl was tall, not as tall as him, with flawless fair skin with long silky black hair tied into a spiky ponytail with a large bang hanging over the right side of her face. Her beautiful onyx eyes were sharp, and she had a determined expression on her face. On top of that, her body was simply too mature compared to the other girls her age. She moved towards the starting line with an impressive grace that you'd not find in just about most people.

Izuku noticed that all the girls in his class were beautiful, there was no denying that. He might be biased because he thought that even still, his friends Mina and Kinoko were a bit more beautiful than the rest. However, he found himself unable to tear his eyes from her as he stared for a few moments before he caught himself, blushing heavily as he realised what he was doing.

He did look again though, as he wanted to see what each girl would do for the race. There was nothing else to it at all.

Izuku curiously watched as she took off her shoes before a pink light enveloped her feet and a pair of complicated-looking shoes with wheels, pipes and fins were revealed. Izuku blinked for a moment, trying to figure out what just happened.

'Did she pull it out from somewhere? Like a sub-dimension pocket? Or can she just summon items from somewhere else? Or did she literally create it?' His mind ran wild as he speculated on what exactly was her quirk as the test started. He goggled as the shoes activated, revealing themselves to be honest to god rocket boosters as she finished the race at an incredible speed. Hagakure, bless her soul, tried her best but it was awkward watching her run as fast as she could with Yaoyorozu blowing her out of the water, finishing much, much earlier.

Yaoyorozu Momo: 1.95 seconds.

Hagakure Toru: 7.01 seconds.

Iida fell to his knees in despair, literally turning white as he was covered by a purple aura muttering about being in fifth place.

Izuku approached Yaoyorozu, his cheeks were still red from earlier. "Yaoyorozu-san, that was really amazing. May I ask what your quirk really is?"

She appeared to be surprised for a moment before she gave him a bright smile that had him blushing more. "Thank you for the compliment, Midoriya-san," she said, her voice identifying her as the comic and manga fan from earlier. "I'm not sure how good my quirk is compared to yours. It's incredibly versatile and leaves me wondering about the possibilities and its limits," she continued in her gentle voice, and Izuku noticed the rest of the class paying attention to them. "As for my quirk, it's called Creation. It actually functions very similarly to yours. It gives me the ability to create anything that is non-living as long as I understand its molecular structure using the lipids in my body as fuel and making it appear through my skin. As long as it's something that I created and stayed in contact with my skin, I can alter it to something else."

Izuku's eyes bulged at that. "T-That's amazing! Your quirk is simply incredible, but you must be even more so to be able to use it with such complicated objects! There is no doubt that you must be a genius, Yaoyorozu-san!" Izuku exclaimed passionately as his earlier embarrassment about staring was forgotten as his passion for quirks showed. His mind was already running at full throttle as he imagined all the things that the girl in front of him could make… and it was frankly terrifying.

A pink hue came over the girl's cheeks that only made her appear even prettier. "Thank you for your kind words, Midoriya-san. You're too nice. I'm nothing special, really," she said with a bow.

Izuku frowned at her lack of confidence. Her quirk was incredibly overpowered and versatile, and it could literally unbalance the world if she created the right items, but it was next to useless for a lot of people. In fact, Izuku wasn't sure he'd be able to use it fully himself. Only a genius who could both understand and memorize the molecular structure of anything could make use of it, and the complicated rocket/shoe that she made was a testament to her intellect.

However, he didn't get to say anything as Aizawa glared at them. "If you're here to socialize, then I'd gladly expel both of you now to give you time to get to know each other."

Both of them winced, before apologising to their teacher and hurrying to follow him as he led them to another part of the field as the test finished while they were both talking to each other. Izuku found himself looking at Yaoyorozu every few moments before averting his eyes.

Suddenly, Nana dangled herself upside down from on top of his head, a mischievous look on her face. "Hmm… Is Izuku crushing on that beautiful girl? I must say, I approve of your taste," She teased, making Izuku blush again. "Though… I'm curious if someone influenced that," she said with a sly smirk that made Izuku pause for a moment before it hit him as he gazed from Nana to Momo, and back to Nana again.

"Of course not!" he denied with a whisper.

Nana simply smirked at him. "Keep telling yourself that, Izuku-kun. Oh, my… I didn't know that you saw me that way! Don't forget that I'm a figurine, or are you one of those Otaku who have a figurine for a girlfriend?"

Izuku groaned, burying his face into his hands as Nana giggled at him. He knew that he was in for a lot of teasing in the coming days.

▬▬ι═══════

Their next stop was the Long Jump, which was quite fun in Izuku's opinion. His enchantment still holding, he easily cleared the sandbox without any trouble, actually clearing five or six times the length of the sandbox.

Kinoko didn't have much trouble either as she used the mushrooms to give herself a boost. Mina proved her worth, managing to clear the sandbox even though her quirk wasn't useful in this situation.

Todoroki and Bakugō both proved themselves serious contenders for the best in class with Todoroki using a large pillar of ice that launched him easily over the sandbox, while Bakugō used his explosions to cross the distance and then more, clearly annoyed that he wasn't the number one in the previous test.

A girl called Tsuyu Asui was next. She had long silky green hair that was tied at the bottom like a bow, fair skin and large black eyes. The girl's wide mouth which dipped in the middle, her eyes and the way she hopped instead of running in the previous test gave away her quirk. The girl was nonetheless still quite attractive and had a pair of healthy legs thanks to her quirk. Asui easily proved the usefulness of her quirk as she easily crossed the distance without any trouble.

Next was a really short boy with weird purple hair that had four ball-shaped clumps on it. Izuku didn't quite catch his name, but he knew that the boy was abysmal in the fifty-meter dash and he was the same here as he couldn't even reach a quarter of the distance which earned him sympathetic glances from the other students.

Yaoyorozu, again, blew everyone out of the water as she created honest to god repulsor powered jet boots that she used to cross the distance and nearly equalling Izuku even if she stumbled when she got down.

Inside the Gym, the class got first to do the grip-strength test. It was a mostly boring affair, with only two or three impressive scores with everyone else either scoring really badly or a decent number. The short boy, who was apparently called Mineta, was again the worst as he was even beaten by Kinoko and Toru.

A boy called Mezo Shōji scored one of the more impressive scores using his quirk, reaching 540 kg easily. Shōji was a tall muscular young man with pale grey hair and a blue mask that covered most of his face. The notable thing about him was him having six arms, four of them didn't even have hands while he wasn't using his quirk.

Mineta weirded everyone out with his comment of "Octopus? Sexy" when a boy called Sero asked Shōji if he was a gorilla or an octopus.

Izuku's enchantments had run out by the time they reached the test, so he simply used his own strength since damaging the equipment would've resulted in disqualification. He still scored the third best with 123 kg, slightly edging Bakugō with his 99k and a boy called Sato who scored 120 kg.

The MVP was without question Yaoyorozu as she created a hydraulic press that she used to crush everyone's score. Though to create that, she had to open her jacket, staying only in her sports bra to use her quirk properly. Izuku had blushed and averted his eyes immediately, as did the other boys though he noticed Mineta looking without shame with a perverted grin and drool running down from his mouth. Before Izuku could do anything, Kyōka used her ear jacks to stab him until he averted his eyes.

The second to last test was the softball throw which Izuku didn't need to try again as his score was already decided from his earlier attempt. At this point, they weren't going by order and just whoever felt that it was their turn, and thus, Bakugō forced his way to go first. The explosive teen was visibly fuming having failed to get first place in any of the previous events.

"DIE!" Bakugō screamed as he let off his biggest explosion yet. Izuku could hear the bones of Bakugō's shoulder creaking under the pressure, and it was confirmed when Bakugō winced as he put his other hand on it. However, he didn't get his desired result as his ball reached only 1680m. A very impressive number, but not one that would've satisfied Bakugō since Izuku's was still better.

Izuku swore he could hear Bakugō's teeth creaking from how hard he was gritting as he went to the side, not before throwing a murderous glare towards Izuku.

There were decent and bad scores after that with Kinoko growing a mushroom on her hand just as she was about to launch the ball to get a 145m score, while Mineta failed to get more than 32m, the lowest so far.

Then it was Yaoyorozu's turn, and once again, she dominated the score when she created a literal drone with a controller that she used to carry the ball and fly it until it reached 10km before she sent it back. Izuku was astounded that she could even create something like that with built-in programming; Yaoyorozu's quirk was proving scarier with each passing test.

However, even with Yaoyorozu's amazing score, she wasn't the star of the show. That honour went to Uraraka who used her quirk Zero Gravity to remove the gravity of the softball and sent it floating up, and up. The class watched in amazement as the ball disappeared in the sky, and then that turned into shock when Aizawa showed them her score of 'Infinity'.

"Holy shit! The infinity symbol actually showed up!" exclaimed Mina.

They finished their tests with endurance running. Momo would've surely got first place alone if the test was allowed to go on, but after more than an hour, only Izuku, Iida and Momo, who was using a freaking electrical scooter, were still running, so the three of them tied for first place after Aizawa called it quits.

"Moving along to the final results," said Aizawa, capturing their attention. "Your total score simply reflects your performance in each event, though explaining the thought process would be a waste of time, so all you get are the final rankings."

'The hell!? That half-half bastard and Ponytail are one thing, but to lose to fucking Deku! Fucking FOURTH PLACE!?' Thought Bakugō furiously. The explosive teen's rage was reaching critical levels as he fumed over the idea that not only did he lose to Izuku, but also got fourth place on top of that.

Meanwhile, as soon as the last name appeared, Mineta fell to the ground letting out a guttural scream. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" getting looks of sympathy from everyone as he cried his eyes out, which lasted for a single moment until the little goblin opened his mouth and screamed his next words. "How the hell am I going to touch some breasts now? How will I get girls? I didn't even get to touch Yaoyorozu's amazing rack!"

The looks of sympathy transformed into scowls and glares as even Bakugō glared at the pathetic pervert since he still had standards.

"Disgusting pervert."

"Pig."

"To think I felt sorry for him for a moment."

"I'm glad that he's getting expelled."

"Freak."

Everyone's comments, especially the girls, were predictably harsh if not justified to the short boy who sank lower with every comment.

Aizawa gazed at him, unimpressed. "Well, there you have it. Minoru Mineta, you're going home today, and I don't want to ever see your face in U.A. again. You're expelled," Aizawa said coldly before he started to walk away. "We're finished today, you can change back and go home."

Students watched him leave with forlorn expressions. They didn't feel sympathy for Mineta anymore, but Aizawa didn't seem to endear himself to any of them with how he acted from the start. He clearly came across as someone who didn't want to bother with teaching them in the first place. It was a wonder why he'd even become a teacher with his attitude.

Everyone moved after that, leaving the wailing boy alone without a second glance. Izuku saw Yaoyorozu looking down as she followed the girls to the changing room, hearing her mutter about how she was sure that Aizawa was lying as it didn't make any sense otherwise. She simply didn't know that she was dealing with someone like Aizawa.

"What an intense first day, huh?" Said Nana.

Izuku simply nodded, wondering what the coming days at U.A. would bring. He had a feeling that this was going to be a long year.

Then, Izuku heard Nana hum something to herself. He focused, trying to understand what she was singing.

"Twenty little Hero Kids tested their quirks; One slipped on a grape and then there were nineteen," sang Nana quietly in an ominous tone.

"Can you not reference that, Nana!"

Her cackling was the only answer that he got.

AN:

Well, I wasn't planning on writing this one just yet, but I saw that we reached the 1000 followers milestone so I thought you guys deserve a new chapter.

Not much happens in the chapter. The first day is kind of slow and not much can be added here.

Izuku starts his first day at U. A. and meets his new friends. Unfortunately for him, Katsuki is in the same class, fortunately for him, Mina and Kinoko are there!

And best girl Momo officially makes her first appearance!

Aizawa is here too and he is being his usual 'charming' self.

Please note that I'm not bashing Aizawa or planning to. I'm simply going to make him face the consequences of his actions, unlike canon. I'm also not going to cuddle him and invent bullshit to make him look better like Hori did. There's no convenient bullshit re-enrollment.

Being expelled from school is a fucking serious business, let alone from an elite school like U. A. after all.

So, yes, don't expect Dadzawa or any of that bullshit here. Dude is a trash teacher in canon. (Cue the Aizawa apologists with their mental gymnastics to excuse his bullshit)

Funny thing, originally, I had planned on Aoyama being in Class A-1 but… I forgot about him when writing the chapter, kek.

There is no traitor plot here, so that won't ultimately matter.

Lastly, Mineta gets kicked out. First, I hate this little shit, and second, he isn't MC with plot armour so Aizawa would change his mind like he did in canon. (before the bullshit about him re-enrolling students happened)

Most of all, there is no way that this hardass 'teacher' would look at him and his behaviour and let him off after he expelled an entire class just last year.

So yeah. Mineta is out of the fic, and nothing of value was lost.

Anyway, hope that you liked the chapter. Please follow, favourite and review.
