Toshinori looked on with a frown as Aizawa made his way toward the building after dismissing his class. He still wasn't sure what to make of the man as he scarcely interacted with him in the past. Aizawa was a Pro Hero who operated in a different stage than All Might did. He knew that Aizawa was an amazing Pro Hero. One with the heart of a hero. One who wasn't in it for fame or the money. That said, he could also say that so far, his personality has proved quite unpleasant. What was important, however, wasn't his skill as a hero, but as a teacher. Toshinori didn't hear much praise for Aizawa as a teacher either.

Toshinori's frown deepened.

Toshinori tried not to pay it much mind, knowing how prejudiced some people were. However, seeing the interactions between Aizawa and his class, he began to think that not everything he heard was untrue or unjustified.

Toshinori knew that he didn't have much experience in teaching. No, he had zero experience in teaching. He was likely to make many mistakes, but even he knew that Aizawa was unnecessarily rude to his students for no reason. Not to mention how dismissing future hero prospects on the very first day over a silly test was absurd and illogical. They were just kids on their first day of high school. Sure, it was the Hero Course, but it was their job to mould these kids into proper heroes that utilised their full potential. It was too early and premature to judge them just yet.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have something better to do?"

He was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts as Aizawa stood in front of him, staring at him with his dead-tired eyes.

Toshinori grinned, unashamed that he was caught. "I wanted to see your way of teaching for myself as a reference! I also wanted to see the kids I'm going to teach tomorrow before I officially meet them."

Aizawa narrowed his eyes suspiciously at him, making Toshinori sweat a little. "Whatever," he said, and moved to continue on his way.

"Are you sure that was wise, Aizawa?" Toshinori asked, stopping him in his tracks. "I've heard of what you've done in the past and the consequences of that. Are you sure that Nezu will be happy to know that you expelled yet another student?"

Aizawa didn't seem bothered by his question though as he simply scoffed, crossing his arms. "I still have the authority to expel a student or two, so I've done nothing wrong."

"Not on the first day, though," argued Toshinori goodnaturedly. "Shouldn't you have given young Mineta more chances before you threw him out? Over what? A test that tells us who we should be working on rather than throwing away?"

Aizawa's dead eyes levelled Toshinori with an intense glare. "Don't question my methods when you've not taught anyone yet," he said coldly. "Unlike the rest, I like to give them a taste of the real world. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. If they don't learn that, they will get themselves or someone around them killed because of their naivety."

Toshinori understood that all too well. Many thought that being a hero was a prestigious job that came with a lot of fame, money, and status. In a part, that was true. However, they ignored the dangers that the job posed for their own lives, their families or the people around them. Many people paid the ultimate price for it; whether it was the hero, their loved ones, or the innocents they were trying to protect. In a way, Toshinori understood the necessity to unveil that glamourous view of heroes from the students' minds and inform them of the real dangers. However, Toshinori couldn't accept Aizawa's method.

"Just because you are correct about that, doesn't mean that what you did was the right thing," he pointed out. "You sacrificed one of them in order to show them that, on their first day. Heck, in the past, you sacrificed an entire class, and for what? What did you hope to accomplish when you expelled all of your students? Prevent them from becoming heroes just because they're kids and they're still thinking like kids?" His tone made it clear what he thought of that. "I can't agree with any of that. You could've achieved the same result with one of the numerous training exercises we have had over the three years that they had at U.A. They have the time to learn, and if some prove incapable or unsuited to be a hero for whatever reason, then I can agree with expelling them to protect them, and others. What everyone has a problem with is you doing it on the very first day, Aizawa!"

Aizawa scoffed with visible disgust. "Of course, you wouldn't understand," said Aizawa, his voice getting colder as he took a step forward. "You don't understand what being weak or naïve could cost. Not you, the number one hero. I'm protecting those kids, whether they like it or not. I won't have my methods questioned by an unqualified teacher. If there were more teachers like me, then fewer heroes would've died, and fewer innocents would've suffered the incompetence of some naïve moron who didn't understand what it means to be a hero."

Toshinori's eyes widened, and his smile slipped for the very first time since the start of the conversation. It seemed that the conversation was personal to Aizawa, but Toshinori couldn't just let what he just said slide. Toshinori didn't understand? He put a hand on his injured side. 'Oh, no. I understand that too well, Aizawa. I lost a lot before because of my weakness and naivety.'

"You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, Aizawa. That's illogical and naïve you know, which is ironic given what you like to parrot around." He shook his head in disappointment. "I don't know your reasons for doing what you do, but I hope that you don't regret it one day. Those students you expelled could've been heroes one day. Perhaps ones that might have saved your very life in the future if you provided them with the proper guidance. I may not be a qualified teacher, but even I know how important the student-teacher bond is, especially at a school like U.A. How could you teach them properly when they can't trust you or don't look up to you? I hope that you don't regret it."

"That's why I do what I do," Aizawa said and walked away, leaving Toshinori looking at his retreating back with a frown.

"You're certainly wrong about one thing," Toshinori said, stopping Aizawa in his tracks. "You're not here to make friends. That's what you said."

"And?"

"You're wrong. These kids are going to be Pro Heroes in the future; co-workers. Their life may depend on each other. Them being friends, and being able to trust each other is very important, and it's something that we should encourage!" Toshinori paused for a moment to catch his breath. "We want people to work together, not hate each other. We don't want them looking at each other and seeing rivals, but friends and allies that they can trust to watch their backs."

Aizawa didn't answer. He simply scoffed and continued on his way.

The conversation didn't go as he hoped. Aizawa was clearly letting personal problems cloud his judgment. Or maybe he was just bitter like that. Toshinori didn't know the man well enough to judge. I need to do some research. He thought. I need to know what's the cause of this and see if I can help.

Izuku looked on in surprise as he saw that almosteveryone was still in class when he went back from changing to get his bag. He thought that he might be the only one left, having been lost in thought.

"Oh, Midori! You're here," said Mina as she got closer to him. "We were just talking about what happened, and Yaomomo suggested that we go to someplace together."

Said girl flushed prettily. "I-I just thought that we're going to be together for the next three years, so why not get together, learn more about each other and the like?" she twirled a lock of hair, looking down bashfully. "It'd at least brighten the mood a little after what happened."

Mina beamed at her as she turned to Izuku. "And I thought that it was a brilliant idea!" she said, getting nods from everyone still present. "Some already declined, like that Todoroki dude, and the explosive jerk, but everyone else is up to it!"

Izuku looked at the faces of his classmates who remained clearly expecting his answer. Of the remaining nineteen students, Todoroki, Bakugō and Kōda were the only ones who refused to go for one reason or another. "I'll have to tell my mother so she won't be worried, but I have no problem with going. It's actually a really good idea."

Mina fist-pumped the air before giving him a quick hug.

"Where should we go to, though?" Asked Denki. "There are a lot of people here. A restaurant?"

"An arcade?" suggested Sero.

"We want a place to talk, not play games," said Jirō, rejecting his offer.

"There is a restaurant that I know that we can reserve for us," said Momo, suddenly bouncing in place.

"Did you say reserve?" asked a girl called Ochako with a squeak.

Momo tilted her head cutely, looking at her with confusion. "Yes? Daddy always does that when we go out for dinner. He doesn't like large crowds," she explained as if it was the most natural thing ever. And maybe it was… for insanely rich people, that's it.

Their classmates looked at her incredulously.

"Right… crowds can be annoying sometimes," Jirō said with a deadpan, making a few people chuckle.

Momo didn't seem to notice as she nodded cutely. "Don't worry though, Mōkinawa's is a good restaurant, so you can find any food you might like," she said before clapping her hands together excitedly. "Ah, and since I'm the one who suggested it, it'll be on me."

'Holy shit! She's inviting us to one of the most prestigious and expensive restaurants in Japan like it's nothing! How rich is this girl!?' Was the thought shared by everyone in the class.

"Is Yaoyorozu-chan really that rich?" Izuku heard Kinoko mumble softly.

"Well, I guess we can go there then," Mina said with a wary chuckle.

"Ah! I forgot that we need cars to go there! Give me one moment to phone home so that they'd send us a limo or two," she said giggly as she started talking on the phone with someone with obvious giddiness.

"Holy shit, she's filthy rich!" exclaimed Mina when Momo took a few steps away from them, talking on the phone.

"She's too cute though," said a pair of floating clothes, aka, Toru.

It was amazing the casual way that she showed them the difference between their lives, but her warmth and cuteness made it magically alright. It was clear that there was no maliciousness in it. The girl was clearly too sheltered to understand the difference in class between her and other people.

The class smiled as Momo bounced back to them, obvious happiness on her face as she told them that they only had to wait a few minutes before the cars got there.

▬▬ι═══════

They stood in front of U.A. waiting for the… limo that Momo promised them.

"So, Midoriya, about this doll you have with you…" It was Kirishima who asked, eyeing Nana as if he was unsure of her.

"Right, you didn't explain about her," interjected Mina.

Izuku sighed at having to correct them again. "She isn't a do-" he was cut off, however, as someone called him.

"Young Midoriya," said All Might as he suddenly appeared from behind them, out of the school's gate.

"Holy shit, it's All Might!" the class exclaimed in shock as they saw the number one Hero standing in front of them all of a sudden.

"What are you doing here?" asked Sero.

"Can we get an autograph?" Toru asked.

Most of the students crowded the Symbol of Peace who took with stride, obviously used to the attention.

"Don't worry. I'll give you all autographs tomorrow. I'll be working HERE after all!" All Might exclaimed with a laugh.

"You're going to teach at U.A.?"

"That's awesome!"

"Wait, you called for Midoriya, how do you know him?"

"Right! I met young Midoriya a few months ago, during a villain incident."

"That's really lucky!" exclaimed Sato.

Mina nodded. "I've always wanted to be saved by All Might."

"I don't think that being in danger and needing to be saved by a hero is a lucky thing though, Mina-chan," said Asui with a deadpan.

Midoriya ignored all of that as he already knew that All Might was teaching at U.A. which he was still excited about, mind you, though he was more curious why All Might would call him out now. "Anyway, All Might… Do you want something from me?"

"Ah, yes. It's not actually you…" he said sheepishly before he looked at Nana who was resting on top of Izuku's head. "Nana… I'd like to talk to you now about a few things if you don't mind."

Nana gave All Might a troubled look before she sighed. "Fine, Toshi… We really should talk after all," she said before jumping off Izuku's head and floating towards All Might.

Yes, that was a thing now. After what happened a few days ago in Nezu's office. Nana suddenly was able to fly out of nowhere. She had explained that it was her quirk when she was alive and that she'll explain more to Izuku later, but more than that she wasn't as forthcoming with answers as he hoped, and was obviously hiding something.

"I'll be back later, Izuku," she said to him as she and All Might took off.

"What the hell was that?" asked Denki with a frown.

"Why would the Symbol of Peace want to talk with a… doll?" This time it was Shōji who asked.

They all turned toward Izuku for answers he didn't fully understand.

"Ah, the cars are here!" he was saved, however, when Momo exclaimed.

▬▬ι═══════

"Toshi… this form…" Nana said, looking at the shrunken form of her former protégé after they sat in his office.

He chuckled mirthlessly as he lifted his shirt, showing her the horrible wound that covered most of his torso. Nana sucked her teeth at that, guilt swelling inside of her knowing that only one man could have caused it.

"I was naïve… an idiot. I had him in front of me, defeated… I was distracted though when he started talking about you, about how you… died. I lost it, and he used the chance to injure me," said Toshinori, giving her a weary smile. "D-Do you remember it? Your…" he tried to say it but he couldn't, but Nana understood what he was asking.

"Y-Yes… I knew that I died before, but when I touched you the other day. I got my memories back… All of them," she said, her head hanging low. The memories were too much, and she didn't like thinking of it. Her death. "It's my fault… I failed. I thought that I was strong enough to defeat him… But I wasn't. He was overwhelming."

Toshinori nodded. "I don't blame you, Nana… Even after getting stronger, he was too strong. The strongest I fought and will ever fight. I don't think I can win again for sure if that fight was repeated again, but thankfully, we don't have to worry about that."

Nana arched a brow at that. "What do you mean?"

Toshinori avoided her eyes for a moment before he said. "I've killed him. I crushed his skull with my own fists."

"Good," Nana said. She felt no sympathy for that monster at all, and he was much too dangerous to keep alive. While they couldn't exactly play judge, jury, and executioner as Heroes, there were some exceptions for that, and All for One certainly qualified. Even if he didn't, keeping him in prison would be too dangerous and risky. If he were to escape, then the blood of every innocent he went on to harm would be on their hands. "At least the next successor won't have to worry about facing that monster."

There was a comfortable silence for a few minutes.

"Nana," said Toshinori, breaking it. "How are you here?"

That was a question that Nana had asked herself a lot and had a long time to think about. "I don't fully understand it. I don't know if Izuku could do it to anything, or maybe he was able to do it because of One for All… I know that when he used his quirk, subconsciously, he managed to create a personality for the body that I'm in. It wasn't fully me… I had a few fragmented memories from my past, but I wasn't truly there yet. It was like a mix between the memories and the effect of Izuku's quirk."

"And now?"

"You know how One for All holds the vestiges of the past users?" seeing his nod, she continued. "Well, it might be more than a vestige or it might be not. It might as well be a soul or merely the collection of memories, but anyway. When this body touched you, well, One for All reacted, and I suddenly found myself inside this body with the Nana already in there… I'm not fully the Nana you knew, as the Nana personality created by the memories and Izuku's quirk fused with me. So I might not be fully in character or something like that."

"Wait, you said 'found yourself'? I… I felt something change in One for All, but couldn't fully understand it. I'm weaker by a bit, but I assumed that it was my declining strength from the injury…" he said before pausing for a moment. Toshinori paled slightly as he looked at her. "Could it be that you no longer exist inside One for All? That your vestige left?"

That was actually the conclusion that Nana reached after thinking about it, and Toshinori's words about losing strength confirmed it. "Yes, that's what I suspect happened."

"Now I'm even more relieved that I ended that bastard. The next holder would've had to deal with a weaker version of One for All than mine, and I'm sure he wouldn't have gotten any weaker," he said grimly.

"Sorry about that."

Toshinori waved her off. "No, no. I'm glad to be able to see you and talk to you again, teacher," Toshinori said with a warm smile that made her own stretch across her face. "Are you planning to tell young Midoriya any of that?"

She nodded. "Yes, he deserves it. He's worried about me, and he was the one who gave me this… second chance. I owe it to him, and I honestly don't want to hide it from him."

"Good," Toshinori said with a nod. "I was already planning on telling him a lot in case I come to a decision."

"You plan on making Izuku your successor?"

"Yes. I thought about him when I met him months ago and learned of his quirk. I counted him as a candidate and wanted to observe him more to make sure of his character first. And so far, I'm satisfied."

Nana smiled warmly, thinking of her green-haired friend. "He's a great choice. The best choice. He's kind, pure-hearted, and has the heart of a true hero. He's sure of himself without being arrogant, and could certainly stand as a pillar for this society."

"You think highly of him."

"I do," she confirmed. "He'd be my choice if I were in your shoes. Hell, even without One for All, I'm sure that Izuku will be the next hero to stand on top once you retire."

Toshinori nodded. "Yes, that quirk of his is quite strong and terrifying… With One for All, none could hope of standing in his way, which even makes him a better choice."

That was true. One for All could easily not only boost Izuku's quirk by a lot but also boost his body so he could withstand more enchantments. In fact, the energy in it could work to boost his reserve to create even more powerful enchantments with ease. The potential of the two quirks working together, and Izuku's own quirk versatility and power, was terrifying. As it stood, Nana was sure that with enough training (several years of it to be sure) and more experience, Izuku could possibly even defeat All Might on his own even without One for All. With it? He could be a god amongst men. An unstoppable force.

It was too much power in the hands of one person, but if there was someone she could trust that power with, it was Izuku.

"Offer it to him then."

"I will, just not yet," said Toshinori. "Now, how about we have some Yakisoba? We can also talk and catch up if you want."

Nana nodded happily. How could she refuse one of her favourite foods and some time with her former student?

▬▬ι═══════

Mōkinawa's was one of the most prestigious and expensive restaurants in Japan. Founded a few decades before the appearance of quirks, it was nearly 300 years old and was still going strong. Important guests: diplomats, politicians, and businessmen all came to this restaurant, so for them to be seated in it while reserving the whole restaurant for themselves, was a surreal experience that not many in Class A-1 expected. The restaurant was built into the traditional Japanese architecture style, looking more like a castle than a restaurant, but it offered food from all over the world; there were few things that you could want to eat and not find available there.

They all ordered whatever they wanted after being reassured by Momo that it was indeed alright to order whatever they wished, no matter the price. Momo herself has ordered a big meal which raised some eyebrows over her ability to eat all of it, and whether it was healthy or not.

Izuku himself was seated between Momo and Jirō with Mina sitting after her.

"So, how are we going to do this?" asked Kaminari.

"I think just introducing ourselves, our quirks and some quick explanation would be enough," said Iida while chopping his hands like a robot.

Mina clapped her hands together excitedly. "I agree! How about I start first?" seeing that no one argued against that, she continued. "I'm Mina Ashido, you can call me Mina or Mina-chan if you want! My quirk is called Acid, it gives me the ability to create corrosive liquids from my skin and control the solubility and viscosity of it. I have a limit to how much I can produce before my skin's natural resistance to it falls. I had control issues with it in the past that I used to melt my own clothes by accident."

Banishing thoughts of naked Mina that suddenly appeared in his mind, Izuku focused on the notebook he was writing in while mumbling to himself. Seeing that people were looking at him weirdly, Izuku rubbed the back of his head sheepishly before he turned to Mina. "That's a very formidable and versatile quirk. Your physical ability is very impressive and with your quirk, you'd make for a great hero, Mina," he said, making Mina beam at him, a slight blush coloured her cheeks. "Can you control the acids that you produce? How many types of acids can you make? And what about the acids in one's body? Can you control your own Amino Acids? Mumble mumble mumble-"

Mina giggled a bit at his mumbling. "Well, I can control the acids to a certain extent… probably could use some training for that, I guess," she said hand on her chin as she gave it some thought. "Technically, I can use any acid, but I didn't really look into it as I focused on improving how much I can make and my skin's resistance. I do need to understand the acid that I'm planning to make though, which is a pain since I'm not really that smart," she finished with a small chuckle.

"Hey, I can help you if you want," offered Izuku.

"I also don't mind helping, Mina," said Momo.

Mina leaned forward toward them from in front of Jirō. "Really, Midori, Yaomomo? You guys are the best!" She leaned back in her seat. "As for Amino Acids… I.. never thought about it before… How does it exactly help me though?"

"Well, theoretically, if you can control them then you can improve your muscles, bones, skin, stamina… etc," said Izuku.

Momo nodded. "Yes, it'll help give you more physical strength, and probably help with your skin's resistance though you most likely will have a limit for how much you can manipulate before it becomes harmful to you."

Mina's eyes widened at the new information. "Huh, I didn't know that… Probably should've paid more attention in school, heh~"

"Huh, Mina's quirk suddenly seems manlier than I ever thought before," said Kirishima who was seated in front of Mina. Izuku noted his words and tone and figured that Kirishima and Mina might have known each other before U.A.

"Midoriya, you seem to have a knack for analysing quirks," said Tokoyami, entering the conversation and getting a few nods.

"Izuku-chan is really good," said Kinoko, who was seated on Tokoyami's left, right in front of Momo. "He was quick to figure out my quirk just after a few moments of seeing it."

"Yeah, Nana did say that Midori was good at analysing quirks, didn't she?"

"Which reminds me," interjected Momo. "What is Nana exactly? You never got to explain it before."

"Ah, well…" Izuku rubbed his head sheepishly. He did get interrupted each time he started to explain about her. "Nana is originally a figurine of a Pro Heroine called Sky Gal: Nana that I owned. My quirk was late to manifest, I was actually the last person in my kindergarten to get his quirk so for a while, people thought that I was quirkless which resulted in me being the outcast and not having any friends." He felt Momo put her hand on his shoulder and squeeze it in sympathy. "Then I awakened my quirk and people thought it was strong, so they wanted to become my friends now. I was happy at first but immediately figured out that they weren't truly my friends and just sucked up to me like they used to do with Bakugō. I decided that I didn't want anyone who wasn't truly my friend, so I distanced myself from them." From the corner of his eyes, he noticed a look of understanding from Momo. He figured that she had dealt with something similar with her amazing quirk and apparent wealth. "I still wanted friends though, so one day, I was really depressed and was clutching Nana's figurine in my hand while wishing that I had a friend. Unconsciously, my quirk activated and somehow enchanted Nana into a living being, and she became my friend since then."

"Midoriya! That's so manly!" exclaimed Kirishima, making Izuku sweat drop. Was everything manly this or that with this guy?

"What a moving story!" sobbed Toru from… somewhere beside Kaminari, getting a nod from Mina and Kinoko.

"The dark abyss of loneliness gave birth to a new light," said Tokoyami sagely.

"Such unnatural abilities, the darkness truly is powerful," added Kuroiro.

Kaminari raised his hands. "Wait, wait… Like… are you telling me that your quirk gave your figurine… life?"

"Well… kind of yeah. I don't understand it myself, and I've never tried it again so I'm not sure exactly how."

"Why not?" it was Sero who asked.

"Nana is enough for me. If it worked, then I'd be creating a new 'life' for simply testing my abilities… it just feels wrong to me."

Momo nodded from his right side. "I know what you mean. I'm grateful that my quirk can't create living things like plants, animals or… humans," she added with a shudder. "Even in the age of quirks, some things should remain impossible in my opinion."

Everyone nodded at that. While quirks generally violate rules of nature and border on magic, especially with each generation, there were still a few lines that quirks haven't crossed yet. It'd be wrong to see a quirk that can raise the dead or control corpses.

"What is your quirk anyway, Yaomomo?" asked Jirō.

"Well, I guess it's my turn then. Well, as you know, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu. My quirk is called Creation; I can create any non-living material or object as long as I know its molecular structure by using my lipids. My creations appear from within my body and through my skin. I can alter and reshape my creations as long as they're in contact with my skin, but I'm unable to alter anything that lost contact for more than a certain number of seconds. The more I eat, the more creations that I can make."

Jirō tilted her head. "I guess that explains why you ordered that much food."

Momo blushed prettily in embarrassment. "Yeah, I need to eat a lot because of my quirk."

"But you still get that figure, I'm really jealous," said Uraraka to the agreement of the other girls.

"Man, your quirk sounds broken too, just like Midoriya's. That's amazing," said Kaminari.

Momo's eyes widened for a bit. "No, no… it's nothing special really," she said, waving her hand in denial.

"That's not true," said Izuku with conviction. "Your quirk is honestly amazing and versatile. You could be useful in any situation either in defeating villains or providing support."

"Yeah, you must be a genius, Yaomomo!" exclaimed Toru.

Izuku felt something was wrong as Momo's eyes dropped to the ground, her mood dropping.

"It's nothing special, really. It's actually really limiting with how much skin I must expose and the creation speed isn't impressive… It's just not enough…" she mumbled softly.

Izuku frowned at her lack of self-confidence. For someone with her quirk, wealth, and beauty, Momo surprisingly didn't seem confident in her own skills. He sensed that there was a story there more than just her quirk, and while he wanted to help her he didn't know how she would react to basically a stranger butting into her business, especially in front of all the others. While a hero would try to get involved in other people's problems, it'd only push them away if done the wrong way, achieving the opposite effect.

They were cut off from continuing as the food arrived. Everyone was amazed by the quality of the food and how good it looked even when it came to the simplest of orders, showing the difference in the cooking of the elite. Even something as simple as a plate of fried potatoes looked so very appetizing and of high quality.

They dug in with gusto, though they tried as much as they could to mind their manners since they were in such a high-class restaurant. The food was as delicious as it looked, so they enjoyed it very much. They exchanged a few small talks after thanking Momo before they got back to their main topic.

"I guess I'll go then," said Kaminari. "Well, name Denki Kaminari. Honestly, you guys can call me whatever you like. My quirk isn't as impressive as Yaomomo's, Mina's or Midoriya's though. It's called Electrification; I can generate electricity and emit it over a distance, though I can't control it all outside so far no matter how much I try to… I can absorb and neutralize electricity and other lightning-based Quirks though and exceeding my wattage limit causes my brain to short-circuit, leaving me vulnerable for an hour."

Izuku jotted down information in his notebook while mumbling to himself as he took in all Kaminari told them. He only got out of his trance from a gentle tap from Jirō's jack. Offering her a sheepish smile, he turned towards Kaminari. "Hey, your quirk isn't weak at all. In fact, it's really strong. If you could control your electricity, you'd be one of the strongest here. Sadly, you can't… but what about controlling the electricity inside your body? Since you can emit it, I reckon that you can control it as long as it's still inside or around your body then?" At Kaminari's nod, Izuku continued. "That is still really useful. If you can cover yourself with your electricity, you could use that to stun or electrify your opponents on touch rather than just throwing around electricity."

Kaminari blinked. "… I honestly never thought of that…"

Izuku nodded understandingly. Sometimes, people needed an outside perspective to discover solutions that were always in front of their eyes. "There is also the possibility of using it to boost your own body. I can imagine if you're successful at keeping it inside your body and using it to boost your body, then you could easily move and react faster, hit harder and stun your opponents all at the same time. Support items to help direct and control your quirk outside your body would be useful too, not to mention the obvious training to increase your limit."

Kaminari looked at him with his jaw hanging open before he leapt over the table and hugged Izuku, crying comically. "Oh, Midoriya! You're a genius! I didn't think of half of those things on my own, thank you! If you weren't a guy, I'd kiss you right now!"

Izuku pushed him away. "T-That's okay, Kaminari… you don't need to push yourself that far."

"Yes, please," said Jirō. "I don't want that image in my mind."

Kaminari went back chuckling to his seat amidst everyone's laughs.

They continued talking after that, each introducing themselves and their quirks while they discussed possible improvements to them. After they finished their food, Momo insisted that they order desserts which they did and enjoyed very much as it was most likely their first and last time eating at such a restaurant.

After thanking Momo for both coming up with the idea and inviting them to the restaurant before each one of them went back to their own home as it was getting late.

The next day was surprisingly normal. Maybe it was their expectations of being in the Hero Course or Aizawa's action from yesterday, but it was weird to start their morning period with English class and then Maths class. In a way, they've forgotten that U.A. in the end was still a high school and they needed to learn this stuff too.

Sure, they were heroes, but it'd be pretty embarrassing if a Pro Hero couldn't communicate outside of Japan because they didn't know English. Maths, Physics and similar subjects were also important too, not only to understand one quirk but also to analyse a villain's one.

Quirks were based on science after all no matter how bullshit they could get. If you can't understand science at all, how can you find the best way to maximise the potential of your quirk or figure out an opponent's quirk, its weaknesses and limitations?

Present Mic's English class was… interesting to say the least. The man couldn't be quiet for a moment even if his life depended on it, and he just went on his own without reading the room or realising that most weren't paying attention to him anymore. Izuku pitied Jirō who had to deal with the man's unnecessary loud style of teaching, even his own ear felt like bleeding after an hour of constant yelling.

Maths was more of what they were used to. Ectoplasm wasn't a loudmouth like Present Mic, but he was certainly dry. Still, it was much easier for Izuku to enjoy since he didn't fear his ears jumping off his head and running away from the abuse. He noticed that students like Momo and Shōto excelled at everything so far just like him, even more than Bakugō for example. Meanwhile, some like Mina and Kaminari clearly struggled with subjects like Maths.

Soon, they were taking a lunch break in the cafeteria. Izuku was about to search for an empty table before he heard someone call out to him.

"Midori! Over here!"

Izuku turned around searching for who could only be Mina before he saw her sitting with Momo, Kinoko, Jirō, Kirishima and Kaminari in an empty spot beside the two boys. Shrugging, Izuku made his way there and sat opposite Momo. The rich beautiful girl had a very large lunch that was clearly not made by Lunch Rush. Even knowing why she ate that much, it was still a sight to see the elegant girl eating that much food.

"Man, I didn't expect our real first day to be like this after what happened yesterday," said Kaminari as they started chatting while eating.

Mina nodded her head in agreement. "Yup! I expected something else entirely, but nooo we had to deal with all of this again just as I thought we were done with it all!" she said, pouting cutely.

"It's to be expected," said Momo who was somehow eating faster than any of them, but still ate with the elegance of an Ojō-sama. "U.A. is still a high school, and we can't be ignorant about such things even if we want to be Pro Heroes."

Mina just pouted harder as she put her cheek on the table, stretching her hands so that Kirishima had to grab his bowl and lift it up so she wouldn't knock it off. "But what are we going to use that for, Yaomomo?"

"Mina, what if you want to go aboard or someone from outside Japan comes here," It was Izuku who answered instead of Momo. "As a Pro Hero, you'd be the face of the country, it'd be pretty embarrassing if you can't communicate with them because you didn't learn English which is a universal language."

Momo nodded. "Midoriya-san is right. Other subjects help with your quirk or general life, and you also have to know the law in order to understand your rights and limits as a Pro Hero."

Mina groaned as she ground her cheek further into the table. "Ugh, why do you two have to be right? I wish we only needed to train our quirks here."

"Man, that's really a mood," agreed Kaminari.

"Ahaha, Mina is just bad at studying since forever. She thought she was getting rid of all that when she joined U.A." said Kirishima, earning himself a glare from said girl.

"I'm curious," said Kinoko. "Do you two know each other from before, Mina-chan, Kirishima-chan?"

That was something that Izuku himself wondered about as well, causing him to pay more attention to it.

Kirishima nodded his head enthusiastically. "Yup, we've known each other since middle school."

"My condolences," said Jirō sarcastically.

Mina gasped exaggeratingly, putting a hand on her chest as she recoiled in fake hurt. "So mean!" making everyone chuckle.

"Anyway," said Izuku. "Mina, Kaminari-san if you want I could help you with your studies when you need it."

"I don't mind helping too if you want," Momo offered kindly.

Mina jumped from her place, glomping Momo. "Really? Yaomomo, Midori? You two are the best!"

"Can you count me in?" asked Jirō. "I'm not as hopeless as these two," she said, poking Mina and Kaminari with her earphone jacks. "But I'd feel more confident if I had some help."

"Hey, sign me up too!" joined Kirishima.

"If you don't mind, I'd like that too, Yaomomo-chan, Izuku-chan."

Momo, whose head was partially covered by Mina's chest who was hugging her from behind, nodded enthusiastically, practically vibrating on the spot. "Of course! I'll gladly help you! We can form a study group and anyone can join. Midoriya-san can help if he has no problem with it too. I'd ask Todoroki-san too but I get the feeling he won't be… excited about it."

Izuku nodded, Shōto seemed to be the loner type and didn't like to interact with anyone else. Even now, he could see him sitting alone with an aura that said 'Don't approach me'.

Before they could talk further about the idea, Izuku's vision went dark as a pair of hands covered his eyes and he felt a soft pair of mounds hug the back of his head. "Guess who?~" the owner of said hands asked energetically.

"It's gotta be my best and only childhood friend, Hana-chan!"

Izuku was immediately spun around, now facing Nejire who was cutely glaring at him.

God, this girl is adorable.

"So mean! Who is this Hana-chan, Izu-kun? Are you seeing other childhood friends behind my back?"

"Someone is getting jealous," said Nana who decided to finally show herself from her resting place inside his hair.

Nejire blushed prettily. "Nana-chan, this is serious!"

"Finally decided to wake up, huh?" Izuku asked the former heroine.

"It's not like anyone can sleep here with all this noise."

Izuku rolled his eyes at her. "You've slept through Present Mic's class, you can take this."

Mina who got off Momo glomped Nejire next with a squeal. "Nejire-chan!"

Nejire's eyes sparkled, a faint red dusting on her cheeks. "Mina-chan! I didn't notice you!"

Nana scoffed. "Of course not, you were too busy with Izuku and you didn't notice anyone else."

Both teens blushed as Nejire pouted at Nana. "You're being so mean today."

Momo cleared her throat, getting their attention. "Who is this, Midoriya-san?"

Nejire looked straight at Momo, her eyes widening before she was right into her face. "Wow! You're Izu-Kun's classmate? So lucky! You look so gorgeous!" Momo flushed but before she could say anything, Nejire moved to Jirō. "Woah, are those earphone jacks? Is this related to your quirk? Can they move on their own?" When Jirō's ears moved instinctively, Nejire had stars in her eyes. "So cool! Can you like use them to pick things up?"

Not giving her any time to answer, she was instead in front of Kinoko slightly pulling her cheeks. "You're so adorable! Those cheeks are so squishy it makes me want to eat them up!" She said unashamedly rubbing her cheeks against Kinoko's before she left the red-faced girl as she zeroed in on Kirishima who took a step back. Nejire pointed at his hair. "Is that red hair natural? So spiky!" before she turned to Kaminari who gulped. Nejire stared at him for a moment before she moved on.

"Hey! Say something, don't ignore me!"

Before Nejire could say anything else, a girl with short, cropped salmon-coloured cropped hair, reddish-brown eyes and long lower eyelashes appeared, grabbing Nejire by the shoulder and started dragging her away. "We need to get going, Nejire or we won't get any food!"

Nejire allowed herself to be dragged as she waved to the group. "Bye-bye!"

"W-What the hell was that?" asked Kirishima.

"It feels like a storm came and went away," added Jirō, earning a nod from Kinoko and Momo.

"Ah, that was Nejire Hado," said Izuku, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "She's kind of an airhead and endlessly curious, so please forgive her."

"Dude! How do you know such a beauty?" asked Kaminari, who got over being ignored.

"She's kind of my childhood friend."

"So lucky!" exclaimed Kaminari as the bell rang, announcing the end of the lunch break.

They were all sitting in class waiting to see who their Heroics teacher was going to be. All of their classes were taught by Pro Heroes, and even their homeroom teacher was one, so they were curious to see which Hero was going to be their teacher for one of the most important classes in U.A. Hero Course.

"I'm here…" a familiar sound was heard as everyone froze for a moment in astonishment before wide grins broke out on their faces. "COMING THROUGH LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" All Might announced as he entered the class wearing his Silver Age costume.

"Holy shit, All Might!"

"NO WAY!"

"His costume is different from his usual one!"

Suffice it to say that the entire class was excited as they got the Number One Hero as their Heroics teacher. Izuku himself was visibly vibrating in excitement as while he knew All Might was in U.A. After the meeting the other day, he didn't expect All Might to actually be teaching first years like them.

All Might made his way to the podium dramatically, practically eating up the attention as a Pro Hero could. "Heroics Basic Training, that's the subject that I'll be teaching you here! In this class, you'll be put through all sorts of special training to mold you into perfect heroes!" All Might announced before he held out a paper with the word 'Battle' on it. "There is no time to waste. Your first class is going to be, Combat Training!"

"Combat?" Bakugō was grinning madly. He possibly heard nothing else.

"And for that," said All Might before he pointed at the wall. "You're gonna need these!" he announced before clicking on a remote that he was holding. Several panels popped out of the wall with suitcases in them. "In accordance with the Quirk Registry as well as your own written requests... here are your…"

"COSTUMES!" The class yelled out in glee as they ran to get their costumes.

"That's right!" Yelled All Might. "Looking good is very important, ladies and gentlemen!"

Izuku was the last one out of the tunnel.

Izuku wore a black modern version of the traditional Tang suit with a long jacket decorated with dragon motifs. Underneath he wore a Hanfu Kung Fu style shirt, while above the shirt, Izuku wore a traditional beige silken Chinese vest embroidered with golden threads in various patterns. Both the suit and the vest's trim and button knots were of red colour. Izuku also had a red sash on his waist with a place to put his staff and a pouch with some supplies and medical items. Around his neck, he draped a long green scarf.

All of his clothes were padded with a carbon nanotube protective layer for protection against bullets and stab wounds, and if one looked very close, one could see that all of his clothes had very small, faint runes on them that served as an anchor for the enchantment he applied on it as extra protection.

"Izuku-chan, you look amazing," said Kinoko.

Mina skidded over, looking at Izuku from every angle. "Woah, you look great, Midori. The costume is very fashionable, I approve!"

"I can agree with that," said Jirō who walked closer with Momo beside her.

Izuku looked at the girls in question.

Kinoko's costume consisted of a turtleneck dress with long sleeves and furred cuffs, which was decorated with a red and white fly agaric pattern, matching the one on her mushroom cap-shaped hat. She wore pale pink knee-high boots with thick tan soles and frilled shafts, patterned with the same fly agaric as her dress, and around her waist was a dark brown belt with a large golden buckle. Altogether, her costume bore a strong resemblance to a mushroom, while at the same time giving her a witch-like look.

She looked downright adorable.

His face went from slightly red cheeks to as red as Kinoko's costume when he looked at Momo. She wore a high-collared, sleeveless crimson leotard with silver lines at her waist and around her arms, which was open to expose her skin from her neck to just below her navel. She sported calf-length red boots with heels, which dipped sharply down in the centre, and two gold utility belts around her waist, another, thinner one around the top portion of her chest, below her shoulders. The amount of skin exposed should be illegal and coupled with Momo's beauty, it was a deadly strike that basically short-circuited Izuku's brain.

Mina, while not as risqué wasn't much better as she wore a plain white mask over her eyes, with a purple and turquoise skin-tight bodysuit with a camouflage pattern, ending just above her breasts that left nothing to the imagination. Over this, she wore a cropped, sleeveless, tan-coloured waistcoat with white fur along its collar, which she left unbuttoned. She also wore custom-made plum violet and beige acid-proof boots with holes in the soles, allowing her to secrete acid from her feet to slide around.

Thankfully, Jirō's costume was much more tame and conservative in comparison. Jirō wore a black leather jacket, a long salmon-coloured shirt with several rips at the collar and hem, black pants, and boots with stereos built into their shafts. She also had two small, triangular red paint marks just below her eyes, a plain black choker, and white fingerless gloves.

Though not as revealing or skin-tight as the other two, her cuteness was not to be underestimated.

Izuku's filter was off.

"You look great, Kinoko-chan. Red suits you and your outfit's design is perfect for your quirk, not to mention it gives you a cute witch-like look that enhances your own cuteness." Said Izuku not noticing that her face was as red as her costume as he turned to Jirō.

"I like your costume, Jirō-san. It's simple but has a style just like you. It's a perfect fit for you, and makes you appear even cuter."

Mina who was looking at all of that in a mixture of amusement and awe asked. "What about me, Midori?"

"Huh? Well, you look amazing as always, Mina. The costume is flashy and stylish like you in a way only you can make it work. I love the white mask since it brings out your pretty eyes even more."

Izuku didn't even notice Mina's reddening cheeks as he turned to his last victim.

"You also look great, Yaoyorozu-san. Your costume is quite unique, and only some with your natural beauty and elegance could pull it off the way you do."

Now that he finished without filtering what he just said, Izuku noticed the four red-faced girls gaping at him. He tilted his head and asked innocently. "I'm sorry… Did I say something wrong?"

Nana who was floating between the girls facepalmed. "I don't even know how he doesn't notice it and can say it with such an innocent and sincere face."

"Huh? What are you talking about, Nana?" asked a confused Izuku.

Izuku felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned to see Kaminari staring at him intensely before he said in his most serious tone. "You're my god, Midoriya."

"… Huh?"

All Might coughed to gain their attention, using his hand to hide the grin that he was hiding at witnessing the interaction. "Alright you zygotes, it's time to get started."

Iida who was wearing a somehow familiar-looking robotic costume. "Sensei, this is the same site as the Entrance Exam, are we performing cityscape manoeuvres again?"

"Incorrect!" All Might pointed at Iida, "What we will be doing is indoor, anti-personnel combat training. For you see, statistically speaking despite what we usually see from villains in outdoor crimes, the most heinous villains are much smarter than that. Backroom deals, the black market, hostage situations, the list goes on. In this Hero Society of ours, the most dangerous villains are the ones who use their brains and try to outwit us. They almost always operate indoors, away from prying eyes like ours."

All Might posed, putting his hands on his waist. "Instead, you all will be split evenly into groups of two! Each team will have either a Hero or Villain team, and you will be fighting against another team!"

Tsuyu tilted her head cutely. "Without any basic training?" she asked.

"Practical experience will teach you the basics!" he declared proudly. "The distinction here is that you won't be fighting disposable robots!"

"What determines victory?" asked Momo.

"Can I just blow everyone away?" asked Bakugō, looking ready to explode.

Uraraka asked fearfully. "Are you going to expel someone, like Aizawa sensei did?" making All Might wince.

Several more questions followed, making All Might's head spin. "One at a time! My quirk isn't super-hearing you know!" He then turned around pulling out a piece of paper.

A cheat sheet? Izuku thought with a chuckle.

"Here's how it goes! The Villain teams will hide a nuclear device that they intend to detonate. To win they merely need to allow time to expire while keeping the Heroes away from the weapon at all costs. Alternatively, they can capture or incapacitate the Heroes. And like in reality, the Heroes face an uphill battle. The Hero teams will be tasked with incapacitating Villains or securing the bomb."

He took out a box with a hole on top and presented it to them. "Your teammates will be decided through… lots!"

"Is that really the best way?" exclaimed Iida doubtfully.

"It makes sense," Izuku said, grabbing Iida's attention. "Because Pros often have to team up with other heroes from different agencies on the spot during emergencies."

"I see! I apologise for getting ahead of myself, my mistake!" Iida bowed stiffly to both Izuku and All Might.

"Because of yesterday's… event. We only have nineteen students, and thus one of you will have to be in a team on their own."

"Is that really fair, Sensei?" asked Mina, worried that she might get the short end of the stick.

"Sometimes, you're the only possible Hero on the scene to deal with an incident and you can't afford to wait," explained All Might.

"If I were a betting woman, I bet it's going to be you, Izuku," muttered Nana with a chuckle.

Izuku sighed. "Please, don't jinx it!"

The teams ended up as:

Team A: Tsuyu Asui, Mezo Shōji.

Team B: Mina Ashido, Kaminari Denki.

Team C: Hanata Sero, Shihai Kuroiro.

Team D: Fumikage Tokoyami, Toru Hagakure.

Team E: Kinoko Komori, Rikido Sato.

Team F: Momo Yaoyorozu, Eijiro Kirishima.

Team G: Ochako Uraraka, Tenya Iida.

Team H: Katsuki Bakugō, Todoroki Shoto.

Team I: Izuku Midoriya.

Team J: Kyoka Jirō, Kōji Kōda.

The matches were as follows:

Team F (Hero team) vs Team E (Villain Team)

Team J (Hero team) vs Team B (Villain Team)

Team C (Hero team) vs Team G (Villain Team)

Team A (Hero team) vs Team D (Villain Team)

Team H (Hero team) vs Team I (Villain Team)

Izuku glared at Nana. "You had to jinx it!"

AN:

How are you guys doing? I hope that you liked this chapter.

Chapter starts with a talk between All Might and Aizawa. I hope that I showed Aizawa's thought process and that he thinks he's doing the right thing.

As I've said. I don't like Aizawa, and he'll be suffering consequences, but I don't want to bash him or just dunk on him without showing his side.

Both All Might and Aizawa are bad teachers, but All Might is someone you can trust and is willing to learn, knowing that he is new to teaching. That's the difference. I very much doubt that Aizawa ever tried to learn from other teachers.

Nana and All Might have their talk and it shows the consequences of Nana touching All Might the other day. OFA is weaker and doesn't have Float in it anymore. OFA isn't close to Singularity like canon now, and the one who gets it won't be manifesting the other quirks.

The students interact with each other and learn more about each other. I didn't show the whole thing since it'd be too long and it'd take a lot of time to sort out each quirk.

Not much happens after. Nejire meets the girl, or they meet her, rather.

The Battle Trials are here. Izuku shows his accidental flirt side and his new costume.

For those that didn't visualize it well. The pic for this fic is Izuku's costume.

Or check out Luffy's fan art by 毒药无形poison on Pixiv. OG pic is by him, I just edited Izuku's head on top of it.

The teams and who faces who was done by lottery, so it's completely random.

Next chapter won't be coming fast. Aside from the usual shit, I have to figure out the winner of each match, plan the fights and write fight scenes which aren't something I find easy.

Anyway, hope that you enjoyed it. Please follow, favourite, and review. Until next time.
