Chapter 565

He loved the sounds Elain made. He always had. Since the first time he'd heard them when touching her, he always wanted to bring them forth from her. Each sound she made quickened his heartbeat and stirred something within him, and Lucien wanted nothing more than to continue to make Elain produce those wonderful sounds. He felt her trying to lift her hips and he pressed her back down before gliding one of his hands along her thigh and to her knee. Her soft skin had always been enticing and just the feel of it was enough to make him hard. Resisting the urge to reach down and touch himself, Lucien licked at his mate once more, enjoying the small cry which escaped her in response.

With both of his hands on Elain's thighs, Lucien adjusted his hold on her until he could lift both of her legs over his shoulders as he quickened the pace of what he had been doing with his tongue. Her grip in his hair tightened until it was almost painful, but he did not pause. Pressing her down by her hips again, Lucien held Elain in the place he wanted her, not breaking his rhythm for an instant. Her breathing had changed, and he listened carefully. He knew that she went silent moments before she came, and he wanted to be aware of exactly when that would be.

He'd felt her down the bond. There had been so much swirling within her, and it had taken him a few minutes to try and sort it all out. He had easily been able to identify the low level panic at what she had heard from Vassa, but that had eased after she had told him about the conversation. Elain had been worried about what Vassa might do to him, and the other possibilities for the reasons behind Vassa's visit. There had also been possessiveness. Elain had wanted to claim her love, and wanted to remind everyone that she and Lucien belonged to one another. He would make sure they gave a nice display in the morning at breakfast for her. There had also been a need within her. She had needed him, to feel him, to touch him, and she had needed him to touch her. She needed for him to show her that he was still choosing her. Still wanted her. He'd felt the tiny spark of alarm within Elain that she would be overlooked for another option, and he'd felt her own dislike for that part of herself. She would learn, he knew. She would grow more confident in herself and in the bond as it solidified over time. For now, he would show her when she needed it. He grinned when Elain came with a shriek, shuddering against him, and he continued to lick at her until she went still.

Pressing a kiss to the wonderfully soft skin of her inner thigh, Lucien breathed her in deeply. The scent of her was also enough to make him hard, and Lucien knew that he'd been hard since he had first lifted her from the floor by the couch. He needed her more and more by the second and he willingly moved up over her when she had reached down to touch her fingertips gently to his cheek. "Did you enjoy that, Petal?" he breathed, and Elain's heart was still thundering wildly enough for him to hear it when she nodded.

"I always do." She told him, and Lucien smiled at her, sliding an arm around her waist and drawing her firmly against himself.
