Chapter 46 Gate

Mitsuki was at the house playing a game with the kids and they were having fun as his fingers went crazy on the controller, Carol was moving hers slowly but doing it.
"Come on!"Mitsuki said.
April entered the house and sees them playing making her chuckle."Only Mitsuki."She shakes her head.
She knows that Mitsuki loves video games and would try to win no matter what.
"Getting closer."Mitsuki said and they cheered."We did it!"
"Yeah."Hansel and Gretel high fived each other.
"Still excited as ever Mitsuki."April said.
"Why not?"He said.
"Still... Your at least playing with the kids instead of against them."April said.
"I'm not those guys that make they're children feel bad."Mitsuki said.
"Thanks dad."They said.
"Did you ever had a friend that was like you before?"April asked.
"Well... Not much with games but we did go to convetions before I had to move, he was a big anime fan."Mitsuki said making April almost laugh.
"Wow, you had some interesting friends Mitsuki."She said.
"Yeah I know."He smiles.
"So what was his name?"April asked.
"Itami."Mitsuki responded.
"Do you think you'll meet him again?"April wonders.
Mitsuki thinks."I don't know, he's a soldier so he might be busy."
Mitsuki gets a call from his Shell Cell and he answers it."Hello?"
"Mitsuki."It was Donatello."I found some strange sources coming from the sewers."
"So you need back up?"Mitsuki said.
"Yes, it would be better to be safe than sorry."Donatello said.
"I'm on my way."He said.
Poppy came out."Me too!"
"Okay, let's go."Mitsuki said and they went out.
"Be careful."April said.
"I will."He nodded.
Later at the sewers
The duo were with the turtles in the sewers as Don was using a tracking device.
"So where's the thing Don?"Raph said.
"We're close."Don said.
They arrived a big room that was empty and saw a broken gate that has one of the pillars broken making it go on it's side.
Mitsuki checks it."It's a old gate."
"What's it doing here?"Mikey scracthes his head.
"I don't know, but this thing is making the strange energy."Don said.
Leo touches the empty space with his sword making a portal open and he pulls it back."It's a portal!"
"Really, what are aliens trying to invade us?"Raph said.
Venus senses it."I don't think so, it's more magical."
Mitsuki looks at it and said:"Should we go try and go inside?"
"It might be too risky."Leo said.
"Okay, does anyone have rope?"Mitsuki said.
"Got some."Mikey shows the rope he has.
"Okay, tie it around my body, i'll go inside and if something happens, pull me back."Mitsuki said.
"Okay, just don't get yourself killed."Raph said.
They tied it around Mitsuki and he goes inside while they hold the rope.
"I hope he knows what he's doing."Don said.
Mitsuki exits it and saw he was in a open field with a blue sky, he was confused since this was like Naofumi's world.
"Okay, this is way too familiar but different."Mitsuki said.
He saw that the gate was in the same shape."Looks like what happened to it made it crumble here too."
He walks foward and sees a road making him go to it, he looks around and tries to find something, he then saw a wyvern fly by surprising him.
"Okay... So i'm in another fantasy world."Mitsuki said and he gives them a call.
"Mitsuki what are you seeing?"Leo said.
"I'm in some kind of fantasy world."He said.
"Again! What's with you and going to these types of places?"Raph said.
"At least we can see one."Mikey said.
Mitsuki looks around before a military truck came towards him and he got surprised before it stopped, he falls down in shock before soldiers came out pointing guns at him.
"Don't shoot!"Mitsuki raises his arms.
"What's a civilian doing here?"The oldest member said.
"Excuse me, I wasn't trespassing, I just found this gate and..."Mitsuki the noticed who they are."Wait... Your the Japan Self-Defense Forces."
"That's right, so what are you doing here?"The woman said.
"I was just walking by and found this gate."He said.
"Another Gate?"They got surprised.
"Where is it connected?"Older guy said.
"New York, but it looked busted up, it could only fit a few people."Mitsuki said.
"Well that would explain why they didn't invade, what's your name?"
"I'm-"
"Mitsuki."They saw a guy come out of the truck with black hair looking at him.
"Itami!"Mitsuki said.
"Mitsuki!"Itami smiles.
"Itami!"Mitsuki smiled.
They went together and shook hands while smiling.
"Wait, you two know each other?!"The woman was surprised.
"Yes, he's my best buddy, you don't have to worry about him he's a doctor not a enemy."Itami said.
"Thanks pal."Mitsuki said.
"A doctor, I see well my name is Sōichirō Kuwahara, looks like you got some bad luck coming here."He said.
"Say Mitsuki how did you get here?"Itami asked.
"I found this gate in the sewers of New York."Mitsuki said.
"Wait really, looks like you were moving up."Itami said.
"Yeah, I even have a girlfriend."Mitsuki said.
"Wait really you lucky bastard!"Itami puts a arm around him making Mitsuki chuckle.
"So what are you guys doing here?"Mitsuki said.
"We were tasked to come here and hold the gate that appeared in Japan, we were invaded by the people of this world and came to fight back the invasion from happening again."Itami said.
"Damn."Mitsuki was surprised.
"Mitsuki!"They looked to the right and saw Poppy waving at them."Found you!"
Itami and the soldiers blinked while Mitsuki got worried.
"Hey who's the cosplayer?"Akira Tomita asked.
"She looks like Poppy from Ex-aid."Itami said."Her clothes and voice looked exactly the same."
"Because I am Poppy Pipopapo."She smiles.
"Wait, no way."Itami couldn't believe it.
They saw a wyvern heading towards them and the army got surprised.
Mitsuki got worried since they don't have they're weapons so he puts on the gamer driver and takes out the gashat.
Itami then sees it."Hey isn't that-"
MIGHTY ACTION X!
"Henshin!"He inserts it.
GASHAT! LET'S GAME! METCHA GAME! MUTCHA GAME! WHAT'S YOUR NAME?! I'M A KAMEN RIDER!
He changes into Ex-Aid level 1 kicking the Wyvern back.
"What?!"The woman Shino got shocked.
"Mitsuki became Ex-aid!"Itami said.
"Dai henshin!"Mitsuki opens the screen.
GACHAN! LEVEL UP! MIGHTY JUMP! MIGHTY KICK! MIGHTY MIGHTY ACTION X!
He changes into Level 2."I'll clear this with No Continues!"He punches the Wyvern back.
"That's so cool, he's a real Kamen Rider"Tetsuya said.
Ex-Aid punches the wyvern many times before kicking it back, he takes out his hammer to hit it back.
"I am after..."Ex-Aid said.
"The genius gamer!"Itami said with a smile.
He then takes out the gashat and puts on the slot holder on his belt.
GASHAT!
Ex-aid presses the button.
KIMEWAZA! MIGHTY! CRITICAL STRIKE!
He jumps up and kicks the Wyvern many times before doing the last kick making it explode.
GAME CLEAR!
Ex-Aid lands on the ground before Itami puts his arm around him again."Mitsuki, when did you become a real Kamen Rider?"
"Well you know, I got lucky."He said.
"Come on, don't hold out on me."Itami kept asking him.
The others watched them and they looked at Poppy who was dancing around.
"Hmmm, we could extra help."Souichiro said.
Note:Yes it's another other world arc in the anime called Gate - Thus the JSDF Fought There, but I wanted to show off a old friend of Mitsuki to show that his past isn't all that bad, Itami and Mitsuki are buddies since they went to conventions a lot and played games.
