Chapter 74 Parasite in Love

Poppy was at the woods with Mitsuki and Prima as they went around, Poppy wanted to take Prima out to the forest.
"Okay let's go have fun." Poppy looks at Prima who's inside a baby carriage.
Mitsuki was bringing Carol with him as she was sitting on a wheelchair just to be extra safe with her.
"Okay, just a nice time alone and we'll be just fine." Mitsuki said.
Carol smiles and theres two cabins when they came, Mitsuki goes to one and Poppy goes to the other one.
They could only get a few two people cabins so they had to live with each child for the time being.
Poppy enters her cabin and sets Prima inside a crib on the other room. "Here you go Prima."
Prima smiles at her mother while giggling.
Poppy goes out while Prima plays with a few toys.
Meanwhile
Mitsuki has Carol sit on a couch and he saw her look at a book she brought.
"Okay, we'll take you outside to the river once I check it's safe." Mitsuki said.
"Is it dangerous?" She asked.
"Theres some parasites in fresh water that I want to make sure." He said.
Carol nodded and looks to the other cabin where her sister is at.
Poppy looks at the pond and stares at the water.
"It's so clean. Happy." She smiles.
She then trips and falls inside before she came out of the water.
"My dress is wet. Sulk." She frowns.
"Don't worry Poppy, it's okay." Sydney said.
Poppy goes back to the cabin and Sydney walks over to the kitchen.
Sydney felt a pain in her head and grunts. "Must have been from the fall."
She goes towards the kitchen, Sydney starts to cut some meat on a board and sings a little tune to pass the time.
Then a blue arm came out from behind and held her hand.
"It looks delcious." A male voice was heard.
She gasps and turns around but didn't see anyone.
"What was that?!"
Sydney looks around for anybody but didn't see anybody there.
She heard Prima crying. "Oh no." She goes to check on her.
Outside
Mitsuki was out in the pond and he takes a sample from it and looks at it.
"Gotta make sure it's safe, I didn't Poppy or Sydney here so they must still be at the cabin, so it's better go back to my cabin and check for anything strange." He goes back inside.
Mitsuki goes to his room and he puts the sample in a computer and he waits for the results.
Carol looks at him before she peeks outside the window to look at the other cabin again, she has a bad feeling.
Later
Sydney wakes up and she heard a voice. "Hello."
She saw a guy on the other side of her bed and he was blue with white eyes.
Sydney screams and backs away while he chuckles.
"What are you?! A bugster?!" She said.
"Yes and amoeba." He said.
"Wha? Your both." She said.
"You humans call me Naegleria Fowleri." He said.
She got shocked to hear that, that's the parasite that's dangerous and it's mixed with a Bugster.
"Okay, I'm going I know i'm not feeling well so..." Sydney gets up from her bed.
"Are you going to a doctor?" He asked.
"Well why not, it's for my health." She said.
"I won't let you do that!" He screams and she felt pain in her head making her scream.
"If you go to a doctor, I will be gone." He said.
Poppy appears instead and she holds her head in pain crying. "Stop it."
He stops and said: "Okay, but don't go out okay."
She got scared and her child is in the other room, good thing Prima is still sleeping.
"We get to spend time together since our meeting was a sign. When I went to your brain I saw what you wanted. You wanted a family, just like me." He said.
He then puts his head at her stomach making Poppy nervous.
"This is where babies grow right? I don't know why anybody would want to leave. To make this new family arrangement easier you can call me Niall."
"Why are you doing this to me? Why attack another bugster?" Poppy said.
"I'm not attacking, i'm just starting our family." He smiles.
She then hides inside the covers.
"Poppy please come out." Niall didn't get a response. "I see your tired i'll let you rest for a bit."
Mitsuki help me. She was scared.
In the morning
At the other cabin Carol felt something bad and wakes up too.
Mitsuki was still working and she slowly looks at the other cabin, she slowly walks towards it to see Poppy.
Poppy wakes up and she's feeling worse as the entire place was looking blue.
"Oh your awake. Good morning dear."
She then saw Niall on the side of the bed, he had multiples of him like afterimages, it seems she's getting dizzy.
"Here, I wanted to show you what our children look like inside of you look like." Niall said.
"Theres even one that looks like you." He puts something on her.
Poppy looks down and got horrified, she saw a glob of blue mass that resembles a baby with many eyes as it makes sounds.
"Isn't it cute?" He asked.
SHe got scared and she heard Prima crying.
"Prima." Poppy gets up but she felt pain.
"What are you doing Poppy?" He said.
"My baby is crying." She said.
"You already have a child, you don't need her." Niall said.
"This not my child!" Poppy said as she changed to Sydney.
"Our baby is in that room and your trying to take her away!" Sydney said.
"You know... I was hopefull you know. It's so rare for my kind gets to be with you humans. So I thought we were special. I thought I could build a home with you. A family full of love." He said.
"But you just couldn't accept me. You had to treat me like vermin and even went so far as getting rid of me. You know that was a death setence for me."
He rubs his head on the back of Sydney's. "So why couldn't my love reach you? I am sure I expressed it a lot. Surely you know how much I want a family like you. Just where did we go wrong?"
"Sydney... I can't help but still hold you dear to my heart. You know, because I can see your memories and thoughts sometimes, I know how much geniune love you have for the family you want. You imagined your child running around in the cabin, right? I wish I could have been the father of that lovely child."
"Leave mommy alone." They saw Carol at the door.
"Carol!" Sydney said.
"How did you get here?" Niall said.
She takes out her gamer driver and puts it on.
"What?" He got surprised before Carol takes out a gashat.
She takes out her Gashat presses the button.
KIBRY!
"Henshin." She inserts the gashat.
GASHAT! LET'S GAME! METCHA GAME! MUTCHA GAME! WHAT'S YOUR NAME?! I'M A KAMEN RIDER!
Her rider form has a mask like Meta Knight's with blue eyes and red shoes.
"Kamen Rider... Starling." She said.
Niall got mad and summons tentacles from his back with many eyes appearing on his face.
He attacks her and Carol dodges the attacks while going around him.
She then kicks him out of the house.
Mitsuki got surprised to hear that and looks outside. "A bugster!"
Niall attacks at Starling making her dodge and move around, until Ex-Aid in Level 2 came and kicks him away.
"Why? Why do people keep coming between me and Poppy!" He got mad.
"You stay away from her!" Ex-aid said.
Starling opens her screen.
GACHAN! LEVEL UP! GO AND SAVE DREAMLAND LITTLE STAR WARRIOR! EVERYONE IS COUNTING ON YOU! KIRBY! (Kirby's transformation music from Kirby: Right Back At Ya!.)
Her level 2 form has a pink ride player helmet with the mask, the body is based on Ex-Aid with the green being warp star yellow, the pink is like Kirby's shade of pink, the black is red. Her shoes are red, she has yellow stars around her body and she has a cape like meta knight but Kirby pink with little warp stars on it.
"Wait are you Carol?" Ex-Aid looks at her.
Starling charges at Niall who attacks her but she dodges his attacks before she punches at him many times making the parasite grunt.
"I will not be stopped." He attacks her making Starling back away as Ex-Aid blocks the attacks.
Starling sees a frying pan come down and she grabs it, they see a glow as she changed.
She gains a chef's hat and a frying pan becoming Cook Starling.
"Whoa!" Ex-Aid said.
Starling, the rider of dreams, when she touches certain things she unlocks a new power to use.
Niall sends his tendrils but she knocks them away with her pan before striking the parasite bugster up.
She then inserts the gashat in the holder.
KIMEWAZA! KIRBY CRITICAL STRIKE!
She swings her pain as it starts to heat up and throws it at Niall, he got caught by it and screams with him being cooked.
He turns into his amoeba form and starts to turn into steam before exploding.
Sydney was inside with Prima hugging her before the infection stopped and she relaxes.
"Sydney!" Ex-Aid hugs her.
"I'm okay, everything is fine now." She smiles.
Starling came and hugs them and the family smiled avoiding another bugster thanks to Carol's rider form.
Note: Heres a chapter based on a new bugster from Parasite in Love, where Poppy/Sydney get infected by a new bugster virus that's based on that Amoeba where it would destroy them, but Carol saved the day in her rider form.
