"Wow!" Cy-Cass cried, as she looked around the giant and grand entrance of Mount Potentia. "I have to admit this place does look very cool."

"Well, from the looks of it, it hasn't changed at all since I left it." As Mickey looked around it, a flood of happy memories of being Sid Yen's apprentice and learning magic from him came back to him.

"So, where do we start?"

Mickey came back to the present and turned back to Cy-Cass.

"Which set of stairs do we take?" his cyborg friend asked.

Mickey looked ahead and looked at the four sets of stairs.

"Do you remember which each set of stairs will take us to?" Cy-Cass asked.

"Yes, I do," Mickey replied. "We'll start with the one that descends on the left. Follow me, Cy-Cass."

His friend followed him.

The stairs took him to the massive potions room. Mickey remembered it very well. It was exactly the same as he left. All the potion jars were on wooden shelves on the rocky wall. The ones that were full were still full and all the empty ones were still empty.

"Hello? Master Yen?" Mickey called as he walked around the room. "Are you in here?"

There was no reply.

"It's only me, your faithful apprentice, Mickey. Mickey Mouse."

There was still no reply.

"Can your red eye scan anyone now that we're inside?" Mickey asked Cy-Cass.

Cy-Cass tried. "No, I can't," she replied. "I can't work out if there's no one in this mountain or everywhere here is too magical for my red eye to scan inside as well as outside. Every time I fight Daja and her army, I can sense her magic and all the time. If your boss's magic is working, it might be too good for me."

"Well, there's more rooms to check," Mickey said. "Follow me."

"Uh, Mickey?" Cy-Cass called.

"Yes, Cy-Cass?"

"Will we encounter any magical creatures or objects that Sid might have set up as security guards?"

"Well, there weren't any here the last time I was here," Mickey replied, "but I can't promise there won't be any now. Now, let's go and search for the hat."

Cy-Cass followed her friend.

Mickey continued to show Cy-Cass the whole mountain. Everywhere they went was just as massive and grand as it was the last time Mickey was here. They took all the stairs and searched many rooms. The next one they searched was the vast library filled with books about spells, potions and magic staffs among everything that was ever written about magic. As he searched the library for Sid Yen and his magic hat, Mickey remembered all the books that he had to read while he was Sid's apprentice. All the books were still there. There was no more than when he left nor less either.

With the library searched and no results found, Mickey and Cy-Cass checked out the giant spell room where Sid would do his spells and practice his magic. He wasn't in that room and neither was his hat.

Then Mickey and Cy-Cass searched the huge pantry and found nothing in it at all, not a crumb of anything. Then they searched the room that was the closest to being a bathroom, but they couldn't find Sid Yen or his magical hat. Even though they didn't have any success with finding Sid or his hat, there was one good thing and that was they didn't encounter any magical creatures or objects acting as security guards.

"Oh, boy!" Mickey cried happily, looking in the next room.

Cy-Cass's face beamed up. "This is the room where Sid Yen's keeps his magical hat? You've found it"

"No," Mickey said. "This is my room when I was his apprentice."

Cy-Cass's face fell.

As he looked around the room, Mickey couldn't help getting giddy as all the fond memories of his room came back to him. He even found his red apprentice robes. They were full of dust. "It looks like he hasn't found a new apprentice since I left." Then he shook the dust off and coughed a bit before he put them on. They still fitted him.

"Uh, Mickey?" Cy-Cass said. "I'm glad good memories are coming back to you and your robes fit you like a pair of gloves, but we're on a schedule."

"Oh, right," Mickey said. "Of course. I'm sorry. There's only one room left."

"Would that be Sid Yen's room itself?"

"Correct, Cy-Cass," Mickey said. "Follow me."

Cy-Cass hoped that the hat was in the last room for her and Mickey to find as she followed him up the stairs.

Once they finally reached Sid Yen's room, Mickey knocked on the door. "Hello? Master Yen?" he tried once more. Again, there was no reply. He pushed the door open.

"If his hat isn't in this room," he said to Cy-Cass, "then it's not in this mountain at all."

"When you worked for him, have you been in his room before?" Cy-Cass asked.

"Yes, but only one day." Then Mickey explained to her that one day Sid was feeling very ill and Mickey kept making potions in the potion room and then take it up to his room to help him recover. The day after, Sid was fit as a fiddle and Mickey didn't need to make any more potions or go into his room ever again since. "And in answer to your next question, I didn't see where Sid's hat was. Not one time when I went in into his room."

"Well, there's nowhere to look," Cy-Cass said, "so let's get this room searched, whether it's in there or not."

So they went in and searched the whole room. They searched the bed and under it, they looked in the closest and they looked in the chest of drawers and they found no hat at all.

Then Cy-Cass spotted something. "Do you know what's in that chest, Mickey?"

Mickey looked at the big wooden chest. "Not a clue, Cy-Cass."

"Well, it's the only thing left in this room and in this mountain to check," she said, "so let's get it open."

They studied it, but there was no way to open it. There was no keylock in it and no code to open it.

Then Cy-Cass remembered how they entered the mountain. "Mickey, do you think you can open this chest with that secret magical language that only you and Sid know?"

Mickey sighed. "I've never tried it top open anything before, but I'll give it my very best shot now."

Mickey tried to remember all the magic words he learned from Sid and then he said them to the chest. He tried every word he could remember to get the chest open, but it wouldn't. Soon, he didn't feel like he could say any more words and he felt that he had to give up.

"I'm very sorry, Cy-Cass," Mickey said. "I did my very best."

"I know you did, Mickey," Cy-Cass said, putting her non-metal wing around him. "And I admire you for doing your very best efforts. We'll just have to try to find another way of stopping Daja and her army. It may be impossible, but surrendering to Daja is not an option at all. Come on, let's go."

Mickey and Cy-Cass started to walk out of the room when they heard a sound. They turned around and saw the chest had opened. They approached it and they were delighted to see what they had been looking for – the magical blue hat of Sid Yen.

"We did it!" Mickey and Cy-Cass cried happily.

They were so happy with their success that they cheered loudly and danced like maniacs. They didn't stop until they heard a noise. It was a slow clapping noise, which only meant trouble.

"Impressionnant, les gars. Impressionnant."
