Here's another chapter, If you would be so kind as to leave me a review, that would be appreciated. So I hope you will enjoy it.

Chapter 2

A Message Sent!

The sound of lightning echoed throughout the area. As Sasuke disposed of the disciples of the man in the cloak. One by one they would fall over, not even putting up a fight against the last of the Uchiha. The man stood there, watching the Uchiha plow through these mindless drones with a smile under his mask.

"Well done Sasuke Uchiha, but what you don't get is the fact that these are not people that you just slaughtered." He mocked him.

"What the hell, then what are they?" He looked down and saw that they were clones, similar to that of white Zetsu. But they had some life to them, letting him gather up the life force to create this vortex. "Just what the hell are you?"

"That's for me to know and for you to find out. I only give my true intentions and identity to the men and women I am currently after."

"I will not allow that to happen." Sasuke said, charging up another Chidori.

"Try as you may, try as you might… you will never topple me this night." He said, holding his hand out and giving him a motion to bring it on.

Sasuke charged at him with rapid speed, trying to drill his hand into the cloaked figure. But he dodged swiftly. Swinging his sword he would manage to cut a bit of his robe. The man shot a swordcane out of his cloak and nearly struck Sasuke in the abdomen. Sasuke would plant his hand on the ground, spin and kick the man in the gut swing his sword, and nearly slash a giant gash across the man but he would disappear and reappear behind Sasuke. He would emit a pulse and push Sasuke back a bit.

Sasuke started to fly through hand signs and scream out "Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!" A giant fireball launched from his mouth and tried and hit his opponent but would be no avail. Sasuke would attempt Amatarasu and black flames would shoot at the man, but like before he dodged the attack with ease. Sasuke would try again and would fire jutsu in rapid succession but the man would avoid each jutsu without much of a chance to hit him.

"What do I have to do to get to him." Sasuke screamed in frustration, but the cloaked man just scoffed at the Uchiha's valiant effort.

"It was a nice attempt Sasuke, and I give you credit. But this looks like the end of your existence." He said as he planted his foot on the ground. He would vanish and appear right behind him. Sasuke's body would get shredded by him as blood flew into the air. Sasuke collapses to the ground with a shocked look on his face. "You're still alive, you sure are a strong one. I guess I can finish you off right now."

The man lifted his finger and pointed at Sasuke as a golden light emitted from his fingertip. He tried to get up from the ground but the damage he took from what looked like one single attack. He closed his eyes and braced for impact. The man fired a small light that hit Sasuke and… he vanished.

"The message has been sent."

The sun rose slowly this morning in Konoha, as Ryuzan was up with the sun. He knew he had to go to Hokage Tower around 7 so he had to get up. Hinata was sound asleep, he couldn't help but watch her sleep. She looked so much like Sleeping Beauty. He moved a strain of her hair away from her sleeping face. He would see a very content smile on her face. He would then kiss her on the cheek.

"I'll see you when I get home my princess."

He began to make his way downstairs and saw that Hanabi was sipping on some tea. He sat down at the table and she poured him a cup.

"Beautiful morning this is." She said while Ryuzan took a sip.

"It is, so what's on your agenda this morning Hanabi-chan?"

"Me and Hinata have to head and talk it over with a few clans that are meeting today at Hokage tower. Then we're gonna have lunch. But what about you, so you are finally getting your ninja team. Pretty cool I must say."

Ryuzan rubs the back of his neck with a tint of blush on his face. Hanabi catches on to this.

"Ahh, so you're embarrassed about it. You are just like your son." She teased him with a slight chuckle.

Neji soon entered the room, he was dressed with a new look. He wore a white jacket with the Hyuga symbol on the top of the right sleeve. With a pair of blue pants. He had his ninja headband like a necklace.

"Morning Auntie, morning Father, you seem to be up rather early." He said, pouring a glass of juice.

"Well son, I have to meet with the Hokage to find out what team I'm bound to have."

Neji would sit, while Hanabi looked at him with a devilish smile. She always teased her nephew, because she always looked at him like a little brother. Even when Hinata gave birth to him, she was so happy to be there for him. Neji was kind of weary of that devilish smile of hers. She got up and placed a hand on his forehead.

"Auntie Hanabi, what are you doing?"

"Nothing Neji, do your best and I'll root for you."

"Thank you, Auntie."

Hideki is getting his formal best on. Since graduation is over, it's time for him to get back to work. He puts on his regular work robes and he would stand in front of the mirror and pose, trying to look like a strong macho man.

"Oh yeah, who's gonna do a damn good job for his Hokage today… is it you? Of course, it's me. Now go out there and do your best you amazing stud."

In the other room, Hana was putting her long brown hair into a ponytail and put on a red battle jacket with black sleeves, on the back of it would have a kanji for Harima in gold writing. She also put on a pair of pink pants. She would then put on a leather weapons pouch on her belt. She would finish her look with her hands bandaged up.

"Well then Hana, it's showtime." She said, with a glow of excitement filling her. She would leave her room and head downstairs. She took notice of her father posing in front of the mirror. "Hey Daddy, you look like a dork."

He looked over at her and gave her that Hideki smile and responded to her.

"Dork or not priness, it's all part of my work."

"What is it that you do exactly, I thought Shikamaru handled all of Naruto's important matters?" She asked her father.

"He does Hana, But I handle bookkeeping and his daily schedule." He answered her with a bit of pride on his face.

"Uh huh, well have a good day Daddy. I have to go to the ninja academy to find out my team placement."

Hideki bids Hana a great day as she heads out the door.

"Alright Hana, you have a great day as well. I love you princess."

"You too, see you later." She says as she heads out the door.

Tenten was in the weapons shop, working on some orders that were backed up for the week.

"Hey Tenten, how far behind are you?" He asked his wife.

"It will probably take me all day to fill out these orders. But nothing I'm not too unfamiliar with."

"Did you want me to stay here and help you?"

"I'll be fine Hideki, just get going, Naruto doesn't appreciate tardiness."

Hideki gives Tenten a quick peck on the lips and bids his wife goodbye.

"See you later Tenten, I have to get going."

"Alright Hideki, I'll check you later."

At the Hayabusa household, Mafuyu was busy putting together the last of her new attire she was gonna wear going forward. She would wear a red vest similar to her mother's with the Hayabusa crest on the back. She would also wear a black long-sleeve undershirt with black pants. She also wore the locket her mom gave her, and the final step was the sword her father made her. Like Hideki, she would also stand in front of a mirror and would interact with it.

"I'm glad we could be teammates." She said with a blush, she would then try the line again. "I'm glad we could be teammates." She tried with a more confident tone but would try one more time. "I'm glad we could be teammates." She let out a sigh and thought of the possibility of not being on a team with Menma. A loud voice echoed throughout the house, breaking her concentration.

"MAFUYU! GET DOWN HERE AND EAT YOUR BREAKFAST." Her mother's distinctive voice would roar. Mafuyu clapped her hands together and made a silent prayer.

"Please, let me be on a team with Menma."

Sakura tapped her foot, waiting for Mafuyu to come down to eat her breakfast. She let out a grunt and walked back to the breakfast table where Kenji and Kaito were already eating breakfast. Kenji was reading the morning paper, while Kaito was drinking some freshly made orange juice.

"That girl is gonna be the death of me, she knows that she's gonna be late."

"Hey Sakura Relax hun, she wants to make a great impression. That's all Mafuyu wants."

"I know Ken-kun, but sooner or later she will have to learn to be on time."

Kenji lowers the paper and looks at her with a slight eyebrow raised. Sakura caught on to Kenji looking at her.

"What's that look for?" She asks her husband.

"I mean, from what your mother told me on the day of team selection you were gonna be late because you were in front of that mirror."

Sakura blushed as Kaito would be curious to what his father was talking about.

"Onee-chan was just like mom?"

"That's what grandma said to me." Kenji said with a slight smirk. Before getting clocked on the head by Sakura.

"Ouch, I guess I deserved it." He said, rubbing his head. With Sakura showing a smile of satisfaction.

Mafuyu came downstairs and stood in front of her family with a glow. She was hoping that they would say something about her new look. Kaito would be the first to say something to his sister.

"Onee-chan, you look so cool."

"You think so?"

"You look radiant this morning Princess." Kenji said to her, as she walked to grab a piece of toast. Sakura took notice of the red vest she was wearing.

"I see you took my old vest."

"Yeah, I made some slight changes. Do you approve of them?"

"Mafuyu, you did a good job. And now eat and then head off to team assignment." Sakura said, hugging her daughter.

The family would finish breakfast and then all four members would be gone by 8. Before they would head off, Sakura gave the family their lunch for the day. Each of the family kissed her on the cheek, Kenji and Sakura exchanged a kiss and each of them wished each other a great rest of their day.

Mafuyu and Kaito were on their way to the Ninja Academy when she noticed him sniffling a bit.

"Hey Kaito, what's up buddy?"

"It's just that this is the last day we will ever walk to Ninja Academy together. I'm gonna miss this Onee-chan." He said as he started to sob. She would wrap her arms around her little brother.

"Hey Kaito, it's alright. I'm still gonna be home and how about this, before I go on a mission or have a team meeting I will walk with you until you don't want me to."

"You mean it Onee-chan?"

"Sure I do, you are so important to me and I don't want to see you cry anymore. Is that a deal?"

Kaito nodded his head, as she wiped away a tear from his eye.

"Now come on, we have to hurry." She said as the siblings booked it to the Academy.

Ryuzan is in Naruto's office with the other sensei in the Hokage's private quarters looking over the pictures of the recent graduates. Ryuzan is picking who will be part of the new team seven. He bumps into Konahamaru Sarutobi, the Third Hokage's grandson who recently became a sensei as well.

"Hey dude, long time no see." He greets Ryuzan, and he returns the greeting. "So I was curious to know what team your going with today?"

"To be honest Konohamaru, I don't know yet. So many great choices. It's like a sports draft today isn't it?"

Both of them chuckled, Konohamaru is the sensei of Team 10 and he will choose Chou Chou, Shikadai, and Menma. Everyone is picking their students but Ryuzan decides to go with the three students he feels would be great as a pick. He doesn't mean to but he goes with his son Neji, Hana, and Mafuyu.

"Good choices there Ryuzan. I wish you the best" Konohamaru responds to his choices.

"You as well Konohamaru."

Naruto calls the sensei into the office for them to give him the choices. And he looks over them and he smiles and is giddy with anticipation.

"Alright guys, I know how excited you are to get started. So once Shino gets done getting the graduates in check. You will get your teams. Everyone leaves the room except for Ryuzan. Hideki brings Naruto his tea and his schedule. He spots Ryuzan and greets his teammate and friend.

"Hey Ryuzan, what are you doing here bro?"

"Just getting my ducks in order before meeting my ninja team."

"Did you get Team Zero?"

"Not this time, I'm the new sensei of team seven."

"Awesome dude, so who are the genin you're assigned with?"

"Your daughter, my son, and Kenji's daughter."

"My daughter you say?" Hideki asks as Ryuzan nods his head. He then glared at his teammate and would give him a warning.

"RYUZAN YOU BETTER PROTECT MY PRINCESS WITH YOUR LIFE!" He says, staring at him with daggers in his eyes.

"You doubt my skill Hideki? Come on I would have thought you would give me so much more confidence than that."

"I'm just joking dude, just protect though."

Ryuzan nods his head and gives Hideki a thumbs up.

"No worries dude, everything will be fine."

"Alright then Ryuzan, head over to the academy. They should be assigned to their teams in a moment."

Ryuzan bows to the Hokage and heads out to meet with his new team.

Kenji soon arrives at his place of employment. Since Naruto would become Hokage he would create a new version of anbu known as The Konoha Elite Guard. Originally Naruto created the Elite Guard for Sasuke to lead once he would stay in Konoha for good. But he declined so It would take Kenji a few years but he would take the mantle of Captain. He arrived with a cup of apple cider tea with a hint of honey cream. He was greeted by his vice-captain, Minoku Kishimoto. A young man in his early 20s who is an expert in terms of seals.

"Morning Captain, how was your week off?"

"Great, heard your sister graduated with my daughter."

"Yeah, she was so excited about getting her headband the other day." Minoku said, with a smile on his face.

"What's her name by chance?"

"Rei… Rei Kishimoto is her name sir."

"Great to hear, hope that she becomes a great kunoichi."

Kenji soon arrives in the briefing room. It is chuck full of some of Konoha's best ninjas who sought to become part of this still-young organization. Kenji would clear his throat and start speaking to the room of his Elite Guard.

"Morning everyone, Hope everyone had a nice day off yesterday to celebrate the newest graduates of the ninja academy. Now to get to business, There have been reports of a bunch of hooligans spray painting graffiti all over various areas of Konoha… including Hokage Monument. I would like a few of you to check it out. There have also been reports of bandits outside of the village, A few more of you will head out to investigate it. And if possible, snuff it out. And finally, we need some more to patrol the village and help out anyone who needs help with choirs until the new ninja teams start to take on their respective missions."

Kenji dismisses them and heads to his office where he has a lot of paperwork. He let out a huge sigh. He thought to himself, "Now I know how Naruto feels." As he gets to work, his assistant Yuki Hashimoto enters the room with a cup of hot tea and a few more papers for him to sign. She has long purple hair tied into a ponytail. She is wearing a issued blue vest with the Elite Guard emblem on the back. She wears glasses and has a stern look on her face.

"Thank you so much, Yuki." He says, taking a sip of the tea.

"No problem Kenji, here is some more paperwork involving some of the recruits."

"Excellent, by the way, could you put the bento box Sakura made me into the fridge please?" He asks and she nods her head.

Kenji hands her the bento box to refrigerate. She walks off and Kenji soon goes to work.

At Ninja Academy, Mafuyu sat at her desk for the last time. The many years they spent at Ninja Academy have finally accumulated to this point. Hana approaches her desk that is in front of Mafuyu's and sits down. Both girls look at each other and smile.

"Team assignment day, I'm so excited," Hana said with a hint of excitement.

"I'm so elated right now. I'm hoping for one thing though." Mafuyu said, with her friend knowing what she wanted.

"You want to be on a team with Menma, don't you Mafuyu?"

"Yeah, I'm hoping that since we're the offspring of team seven members I can be part of a team with Menma."

Chou Chou soon enters the conversation and joins her friends.

"Well, I'm hoping to be on a team with one of you girls."

Neji was sitting on the opposite end of the classroom next to Menma and Shikadai. All three of them were indifferent to the teams they would be assigned to.

"They seem focused on what potential team they want." Menma said as Shikadai looked bored as usual.

"Who knows to be honest. Everything is a drag anyway. So it's to be seen what team we are gonna be on."

"Anything to help us excel as a ninja is fine by me." Neji said, sitting with his arms closed and his eyes closed.

"Maybe, but we'll see what happens next." Shikadai rebuttled, as the door opens to reveal Rinka Haruno. She comes in with a clipboard with the team listings.

"ALL RIGHT MAGGOTS, SHUT UP! It's time for team placement. Now as you know all of you in this room will be put onto teams of 3 genin and 1 jounin. There will be no tradebacks. You are where you are."

Mafuyu closed her eyes and prayed that she would be placed onto a team with Menma. But soon the teams would be announced. It would get to Team Seven.

"Team Seven will be as follows… Mafuyu Hayabusa, Neji Zabaka, and Hana Harima."

Mafuyu was devastated, as was Menma. He would soon be added to Team 10 with Chou Chou and Shikadai. The future teams would be allowed to have lunch together before they meet their sensei. Mafuyu got up and darted out the door.

"MAFUYU… COME BACK HERE!" Hana said, chasing after her friend.

All Rinka could do was sigh and shrug her shoulders. "My great niece, she can be so dramatic sometimes."

Mafuyu sat under a tree, she didn't get her wish to team up with her best friend. Hana soon appeared right beside her sat right next to her and placed her hand on Mafuyu's shoulder. Mafuyu looked up at her friend, the two of them would hold each other.

"Are you gonna be alright Mafuyu?" She asked her.

"I wished and prayed, and prayed and wished. But I didn't get what I wanted. I really wanted to team up with him Hana."

"I know Mafuyu, I know. But hey look at the bright side. It's you, me, and Neji against the world." Hana said, giving her a bright smile that was like a ray of sunlight.

"Yeah, you're right. Sometimes we can't get what we want. We just have to work with what the cards are dealt to us. Besides, like you said, it's the 3 of us against the world." She said to Hana, with fire in her eyes.

Neji and Menma soon found them under the tree. Neji ran up to join up with his team. Mafuyu got up with Hana by her side.

"Are you gonna be alright Mafuyu?" Neji asked, showing concern to his friend.

"I think so, I think I'll be alright." She said, stopping when she saw Menma. She walked up to Menma and extended her hand to him.

"While I wish we could have been teammates Menma-kun, I want you to know that we will be stronger than Team 10."

He shook her hand and gave her that Uzumaki grin that she fell in love with.

"Don't bet on it, we'll be better than Team Seven." With that, the teams separated to have lunch together.

After lunch, the new Team Seven met in the classroom and were waiting for their sensei. They were unaware of who they would get and that was the thing biting the back of their necks.

"So how much more will it be before we find out who we have?" Hana asked her friends.

"I don't know but the anticipation is just eating me up," Mafuyu responded, twiddling her thumbs.

"We should know soon I would figure." Neji blurted out. However before he could say another sentence, the door slid open, and in came Ryuzan. This caused Neji's eyes to open and he couldn't believe who their sensei was. "Dad, you're the sensei of our team?"

"Very observant my boy. But yes, starting today and going forward you are my students, and now let's head to the roof and introduce ourselves."

They would soon arrive and he would let them introduce themselves to each other. To better get to know one another.

"My name is Mafuyu Hayabusa. My likes are practicing the sword and hanging out with my family, I love eating Sushi and fried rice. My dislikes are bullying and being distracted, my goals for the future are to become one of the greatest swordswomen in the ninja world on par with my father."

"My name is Hana Harima. My likes are working on weapons with my mother, and teasing my father, I love eating anything sweet. My dislikes are bugs and mud. My goals for the future are to eventually master the art of weapon crafting."

"My name is Neji Zabaka. My likes are learning some more martial arts, Meditation, and my family. My dislikes include anything too spicy and too sweet. My goal for the future is to become the new leader of the Hyuga clan."

"Alright my kiddies, going forward we will be a unified force. However, the true test will start first thing tomorrow morning at 5:00 sharp.. You will report to training ground 7 and do not think of being late and not eating anything. If you fail at these 2 requirements you will be sent back to ninja academy. However, if you make it past those then the true test will begin."

"Excuse me Sensei, but what will the test be?" Hana asks, with a bit of excitement in her voice.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out." Ryuzan responded, with a cocky smile. "So if that's all the questions you have, I'll see you tomorrow." He would disappear with a puff of smoke.

After meeting his team, Ryuzan is heading to the training ground when he hears a familiar voice calling for him from one of the restaurants in the village.

"HEY RYUZAN, HEY HEY DUDE, COME HERE YOU BASTARD!" A voice cried out.

Ryuzan turns around and he spots a familiar face from his past. A buddy he hasn't seen in quite some time. His name is Shido Zukari. He has bright shaggy red hair, sharp emerald green eyes, and a bit of a kook, but during his heyday, if you made him mad he would show no mercy to an opponent.

Ryuzan orders a plate of Orange Chicken with fish dumplings. And he and Shido have a nice conversation. He takes out a picture of his family, and his son who just graduated.

"Wow, Neji sure is getting big isn't he?" Shido says, with a sigh.

Ryuzan sees Shido's missing arm. During the fourth great ninja war, Shido helped everyone at the main base of the ninja alliance when the Ten-Tails blew it up. It was a miracle that he would survive but Sakura would break the news that his arm would have to be amputated, due to the damage it sustained, ending his ninja career.

"Yeah, but enough about me… how's everything with you Shido."

Shido would then tell Ryuzan about about a few years ago he moved to Wave Country. He was told of a man who revolutionized a breakthrough in prosthetics and wanted to see if they would be able to get him a new arm. And sure enough, the doctor said that it may take a bit but he would be able to get a new arm.

"Nice, so did you think of coming back as a ninja?"

"It's a thought, a nice thought. The rush, the electricity, the act of doing good. But unfortunately no, I enjoy retirement and it would take me a bit to get back into shape. Besides, I'm a married man."

"You got married Shido, that's awesome to hear. Didn't think you would settle down, considering the amount of girlfriends you had. So who's the lucky girl?"

Ryuzan would soon get his answer. Behind him was a woman who went right next to Shido. Ryuzan couldn't believe his eyes… it was Ami, who looked a lot different than her childhood form.

"Ami, oh my god. It's been so long since I've seen you."

During their ninja academy days, Ami was a bully to all of the girls of the school. Her taunts were more directed towards Sakura and Ino and to a lesser extent, Hinata. But Kenji, Ino, and Ryuzan would always thwart their taunts and teases. Ami would tell Ryuzan that after she failed Ninja Academy, her family would move to Wave where her father would go into the prosthetic industry. Years later, she would meet Shido after seeing his arm in the state it was in. She would fall in love with him.

Both Shido and Ami held each other's hand and Ryuzan was happy for his friend. Ami told him that they were just doing some business in town involving the hospital and her father's tech. And she would make up with Sakura and Ino there. And they would be heading back later tonight.

"Well, I'm happy for the both of you. Any kids by chance?"

"We have a little girl right now, she's staying with Ami's mother and father." Shido said, showing Ryuzan a picture of her. She sure was a cutie. "But we have to go, it sure was nice talking to you, dude."

Ryuzan bid his friend and his wife adieu and told him that he would make sure to visit them in Wave in the future.

On the Hokage monument, the graffiti fiend started to go to work. It was Subarishi and his father Shinji starting to go to work on the monument. Subarishi found a way not to be detected by anyone… as far as he knew. All the while Shinji was directing him.

"That's right boy, now let's ruin Hideki and his friend by writing their names here," Shinji said, with a laugh.

"That'll teach Hana that she should have failed hard." He said as he started to spray paint Hana's name, and then Mafuyu's name, and then Menma and Neji's names as well. "It's the perfect crime… right Dad?"

"That's right boy, no one will ever trace it back to us." Shinji boasted before the sound of someone clearing their throat caught him off guard. He slowly turned his head around to see Kenji and four Elite Guards standing behind him.

"Ehh, What's up doc?" Kenji asked a bitter Shinji.

"Umm hey Kenji, what a terrible thing your daughter did here. You should punish her by making her clean this up right away." He tried to bluff his way out of the hypothetical hand in the cookie jar.

Kenji looked down to see Subarishi sweating bullets, his hands covered with red spray paint. He demanded him to come up to where he was standing with his father.

"Well, at least we found the vandals. And the red paint is a dead giveaway."

"What are you gonna do to us, more importantly, what are you gonna do to me?" Shinji said, with puppy dog eyes.

Kenji rolled his eyes as he tried to process a perfect punishment for these two hooligans. Then the punishment came to mind.

"Alright you two, here's what's gonna happen. You are gonna clean up the mess you did to this entire village. And then after that, you will have to send the people you tried to frame an apology letter. If you do this, we will not lock you up. You have 12 hours to get this done, understand?"

"Yeah sir, thank you, sir!" Subarishi said, bowing to Kenji. All the while Shinji was cursing under his breath.

Kenji then directs two of his Elite Guard to keep an eye on the two of them while he finishes his patrol before going home.

Kenji soon got out of work when he saw Kaito walking home from Ninja Academy. Kaito spotted his father would run up to him and hug him.

"Hey Dad, did you just get done with work?"

"Yep, let's get home before your mom shall we?"

"Sure, I love playing that game." He said, with a giggle.

Kenji asks him how his day was, and Kaito tells him that the teacher taught him some basic transformation jutsu. Flashing Kenji back to his days at the ninja academy where he sucked at doing transformation.

"Just keep practicing at your craft son, don't be like your old man where I did a terrible job at changing into a replica of the 3rd Hokage."

"Uhh, sure thing Dad. How bad was it may I ask."

"Let's just say, I transformed into him… and he looked as if he was submerged underwater for a few hours."

"Noted for the future."

Sakura was on her way home with a few bags of groceries, she figured that they needed a few things from the market. However, she would accidentally take the wrong step and would almost fall over. A bag with eggs popped out of her arms and descended to the ground, but Mafuyu appeared beside her mother and caught the bag before any damage could be dealt to the groceries.

"Are you alright mom?"

"Yes, thanks to you honey. Now if you be so kind as to help me bring the groceries home?"

"Sure thing Mom, let me help you."

Mafuyu grabbed the other bag and the two Hayabusa women would head home and talk about the day they had. Sakura would tell her about some of the patients she had, and a surgery to a young boy who accidentally stuck a marble up his nose. She then asked Mafuyu about what team her daughter was put on but more importantly.

"Did you get on a team with Menma?"

"Unfortunately I didn't get that lucky." Mafuyu responded with a sigh.

"That's a bummer Mafuyu, you wanted to be on his team so badly."

"Yeah, I know... But on the bright side, I'm on a team with Hana and Neji. And Uncle Ryuzan is our sensei."

"Really, well that's a plus. But what team number are you on then?"

"Why Team Seven of course," Mafuyu said, with a smile. Her mom is excited that she's part of Team Seven.

"That's great to hear Mafuyu. You are part of my old team number."

"So I've been told, I'm excited about the adventures and missions we will have. And the fact I get to be on a team with 2 of my friends is a major plus. I cannot wait for tomorrow."

Sakura looked over at her daughter, she had chills going down her spine. She was so happy her daughter was part of Team Seven. She knew that Mafuyu would become a stronger kunoichi than even her and she was so proud of her. Both of them continued down the road. She put her hand on her shoulder and Mafuyu looked back at her with a huge smile.

Sakura and Mafuyu entered the house and saw Kenji and Kaito making dinner. Sakura sniffed the air and it was amazing. Kaito bragged to his mom and sister that they made it home first. Both girls laughed at Kaito, the girls soon would help their father make some Chicken Fried Rice with steamed veggies.

As the family sat at the table, Kenji told them that they caught the vandals who were spray painting Hokage Monument. Sakura would ask if it were in any relation to the ones who graffitied the hospital. And he said it was, Shinji and his boy were the two jackasses who were responsible. Sakura would then crack her knuckles and would like to talk to them.

"Maybe later Sakura, let's just enjoy dinner."

Mafuyu would tell her father about her day and like Sakura he was excited for her daughter. He knew Ryuzan would be a great teacher. He could see she was still disappointed that she wasn't with Menma but he knew that feeling. He wanted to be on Sakura's team when he was her age, but maybe things will work out for her.

Kaito would tell his mother about him learning transformation jutsu and she wanted to see him perform it. Kenji tells him to transform into a person he idolizes, He then transforms into the person he idolizes... Uncle Sasuke. Kenji and Sakura laughed as they knew Kaito idolized him.

After dinner, Kenji and Sakura would do their nightly training session. Once a week, the couple would train and spar together, to keep them strong and still able to fight if asked to go on a mission. They would step out of the village, while their kids would either study or go to bed. Mafuyu looked up at the stars, and while she was depressed that she and Menma would not be on a team together, she knew that if they were to be a couple like her mom and dad, they didn't have to be on the same team.

In the forest, both Kenji and Sakura would spar. Both ninjas faced off and looked at each other with sheer ferocity. They wouldn't say a word until Kenji and Sakura would vanish with quick speed. As if they were blurs, tree limbs would be cut by Kenji's sword, and patches of ground would fly in the air from Sakura's furious blows.

Both ninjas would clash and would appear at opposite ends of the forest. Sakura on a tree, and Kenji on the ground. Both looked at each other with a slight smile. Sakura then would stop the sparing session.

"I think that should be good for now Ken-kun, don't want to wear ourselves out."

"Agree dear, but next time let's go all out." He responded, putting away his sword.

Sakura would leap down and he would catch her in his arms. They both shared a kiss on the lips and started to make their way home, when something would catch Kenji's eye.

"Ken-kun, what's up?" She asked her husband.

It looked like there were little golden orbs in the air. What started as one or two would multiply. Suddenly there were hundreds of them.

"Infestation of fireflies? Or maybe related to Shino?"

"No, they don't look like anything from Shino or even lightning bugs."

The lights started to swarm and create a cyclone as the light soon dropped someone in front of Kenji and Sakura… It was Sasuke, and he looked like a mess.

"Oh my god, Sasuke-kun!" Sakura screamed as both Kenji and Sakura rushed to his side. Sasuke opened his eyes to see both Kenji and Sakura.

"Kenji… Sakura… you must find a way to stop him!"

"Stop him? Stop who?" Kenji asked his fallen friend.

"A man with a cloak, you must stop him." He said before he would collapse.

"Ken-kun, pick him up. We'll bring him back to the house to help him heal."

Kenji followed Sakura's order and the both of them rushed back to their house.

"Don't worry buddy, we'll help you heal." Kenji said to the fallen Uchiha.
