The screen flickered for a minute before a theater appears before your eyes with the author sitting right next to a projector eating popcorn before noticing you.

The author tapped the projector and it flared to life, the screen turning white as the chapter began.
Evolution of a Demon
Aqua noticed a shadow looming over her, causing her to turn and raise a barrier just in time to block Kier's attack.
The barrier repelled the Unversed's attack, before it's hands glowed silver and slashed at the barrier, only pushing Aqua back a little bit.
Aqua's barrier fell and she jumped back as the sentient Unversed swiped at here again before cloaking to Aqua's surprise.
Only confirming her suspicions, this was no ordinary Flood. It was stronger and had abilities that they didn't have.
She would have to play this carefully.
Aqua soon noticed that despite the Unversed being cloaked, it's golden eyes would occasionally flicker. Giving away it's presence.
All she needed to do was wait for an opportunity to strike.
It soon came when Unversed sent a silver blade of energy towards the miniature Keyblade Master.
Aqua quickly created a platform beneath her feet and jumped off it, dodging the attack and training Rainfall at the Unversed's fading eyes.
"Blizzara!" Aqua casted, lathing a large chunk off ice towards where she thought the Unversed was.
Instead of hitting Kier where she thought it was, her spell hit the Unversed's leg. Freezing it to the ground and decloaking it.
Aqua took her chance and ran towards Kier.
It tried to bisect her with another energy blade.
But Aqua created another platform beneath herself and jumped up. She then summoned her barrier and let gravity take over.
Rushing downwards and slamming the barrier right on top of Kier's head.
The sentient Unversed stumbled back and held it's head in pain before Aqua jumped off of it and charged a sphere of water at the end of her Keyblade.
"Bubble Blast!" Aqua casted, unleashing her Shotlock and launch a volley of magically charged bubbles that constantly battered at it's head.
She would have continued, but happened next shocked her.
"My eyes! Why do you keep going for the eyes!?" Kier shouted out while rubbing it's eyes, surprising Aqua.
"Did you just...talk?" Aqua asked, stunned into silence. Never having encountered anything like this before, even after encountering at least a few hundred Unversed there had been no sign of any sapientce.
Until now that is.
Hearing that, Kier laughed while still clutching it's face before sinking into the floor.
"That's right I can talk. As well as think and feel pain!" Kier said, it's voice echoing out throughout the room.
"I am not like my own kind, a singularity among the hoard. The first and the last to ever exist. But you can call me Kier." The Unversed's voice echoed, throughout the room.
Aqua kept all of her senses open and the tip of her Keyblade lit aflame. Ready for wherever this 'Kier' as it called itself was ready to strike.
"For it will be the last thing you ever hear!" Kier shouted out as it shot up from the floor in front of the Keyblade Master, ready to slash at her.
However when it got really close, Aqua blasted it's face with a fireball and cartwheeled out of the way as Kier clutched it's face.
"You where saying?" Aqua said cooly, getting Kier to growl.
"It doesn't matter what tricks you come up with, my life asked me make you suffer and that is what I intend to do before squashing you like a bug!" Kier threatened before cloaking itself and sinking back into the ground.
With that Aqua braced herself for whatever this Unversed had in mind.
Roxas's first impression of the Husk was that it was fast and very good with it's polearm.
As it immediately rushed forward Roxas found himself on defensive. Having to use his Keyblades to parry the twirling strikes and thrusts of the Husk's polearm.
Even if he found an opening to struck the Unversed would quickly counter and and try to attack again, only for them to begin this dance of blades all over again.
It quickly became apparent to the Nobody that the Husk closely matched him in terms of speed and reflexes.
But in terms in the power behind the strikes, Roxas had the Unversed beat.
For which over the next few moments Roxas was parrying the Unversed's attacks and continuing their stalemate until he managed to hook the teeth of his Keyblades onto the staff.
With a smirk Roxas used his Keyblades to toss the polearm away and wailed on the Husk. He managed to land about three hits in before to his surprise the Unversed jumped back and blitz passed him to the polearm.
Roxas soon took off after the Husk and got close to it.
Just as it split the polearm into two double bladed axes.
The Husk gave them a twirl before throwing one if them and Roxas threw Oathkeeper as both combatants rushed towards each other.
Both weapons clashed against each other in the middle and Roxas and the Husk clashed, Oblivion against axe as the two began to try and hack away at each other.
The Nobody quickly found out that while it lost speed while swinging the axe, the Husk gained a better defense and attack power.
Roxas quickly capitalize on that with using his speed and Oblivion to force the Husk to go on the defensive. Until he recalled Oathkeeper and blindsided the Unversed as he struck it in the face. He then managed to land a few strikes on the Husk before it jumped over the Nobody.
It reached the axe it had thrown and jumped into the air once again, reforming the axes into a polearm and tried to slam it down on Roxas's head.
Only for him to raise both of Keyblades to block the attack and pushed the Unversed away.
The Unversed landed on the other side of the makeshift arena and ignited the ends of it's polearm before twirling it and launching two fireballs at Roxas.
Who quickly rolled out of the way of them before facing Vanitas.
"I thought you said we couldn't use any magic?" Roxas called up to him.
"We can't or use a gateway to escape while the spell is up. But I didn't say anything about properties of anything given its nature not fueled by magic." Vanitas said, writing in his book and curious to see what Roxas would do.
What he wasn't expecting was for Roxas to grin.
"Good to know." Roxas said, figuring he could use his light and possibly one of his new spells against the Husk.
Without out magic it would be quite a bit draining, but it would give him an edge against whatever else the Husk would through at him.
The Unversed rushed at him once again with Roxas doing the same. Their weapons meet and the began their dance of blades once again.
Aqua kept her eyes for whatever this Kier would try to do, the tip of her Keyblade crackling with electricity.
The sentient Unversed kept out of a nearby wall and sent two blades of energy towards the Keyblade Master.
Aqua summoned her barrier to block them before launching a bolt of lightning that clipped Kier just as it sunk back into the floor.
She heard the Unversed growl from underneath her, getting Aqua to jump back as Kier dove up from where she just was.
Kier rushed towards Aqua and rapidly tried to slash at her, only to be blocked by a barrier.
"Why won't you let me hit you!" Kier growled out as it continued it's attack.
"Why would I let you do that?" Aqua said as she saw an opening and dispelled the barrier.
Before covering herself in fire and cartwheeling into the Unversed and sent it stumbling backwards. Aqua jumped back and trained Rainfall towards Kier.
"Slow!" She casted, the spell instantly hitting Kier and slowing the Unversed's movements to a crawl.
Aqua began to approach the Unversed, launching a few silent Blizzard spells at Kier, but to her surprise the spell broke off quickly.
Kier unleashed a silver blade energy that cut through an incoming Blizzard spell and that Aqua had to roll out of the way of.
"That spell it fizzled out, just like with Roxas?" Kier questioned itself, to the surprise of Aqua.
"What do you mean by that?" Aqua inquired, the tip of her Keyblade lit aflame.
Kier just laughed as it sunk into the floor as Aqua launched a fireball which missed.
"You should be more focused on yourself!" Kier's voice rang out throughout the room as a silver energy blade was launched at Aqua who sidestepped the attack.
For the next minute or two Kier continued this same pattern, launching silver blades from the walls towards Aqua and forcing her back before disappearing back into the wall.
It soon became apparent to Aqua that Kier was literally backing her into a corner, and instantly had an idea on how to work this into her advantage.
She backed herself into the corner before Kier burst out of the wall, decloaking itself and aiming to hack away at the shrunken Keyblade wielder.
"Time to die!" Kier shouted as it prepared to attack.
"I don't think so. Bind! Aeroga!" Aqua casted, the first spell creating a wave of yellow energy that surrounded Kier and it soon found itself unable to move.
"What the-" Kier tried to say, but was cut off as the second spell activated as a whirlwind surround Aqua and propelled the Unversed up into the air.
Aqua then used the whirlwind to propel herself upwards before summoning her barrier and slamming into Kier and sending it even higher into the air.
Then she created a platform beneath her feet and jumped up to repeat the process all over again.
She did this until Kier hit the ceiling and the Bind spell ended. Kier tried to claw at her, but Aqua was prepared.
"Stun Edge!" Aqua shouted as she slashed the Unversed and it found itself unable to move once again.
As Kier began to descend back to the floor, Aqua began to hack away at it with Rainfall, intent on finishing the abomination before her.
As they were about halfway to the floor, Kier regained it's mobility and tried to slash at the Keyblade Master.
Only for Aqua to fire a Blizzard spell and freezing it's hand before covering herself in a barrier and slammed into Kier's head.
The impact propelled the two down faster as Kier landed hard onto the floor.
With a pained groan it began to picked itself up while Aqua jumped off it and onto a magic platform.
Rainfall trained onto the downed Unversed and lightning crackling off of its tip. Once she was high enough into the air and Kier stood straight up, she unleashed her Shotlock.
"Thunderstorm!" Aqua casted, unleashing a barrage of electric bolts at the Unversed.
Kier screamed out in pain as Aqua let out barrage after barrage on Kier before she summoned her barrier and once again crashed into the Unversed's head before jumping off of it once again.
Kier, battered and burnt collapsed onto the ground.
It stayed there for a few moments before barely picking itself back up, looking like it was on it's last legs.
Aqua let out a sigh as she quickly grabbed an ether from her bag and quickly downed it.
She had used up quite a bit of magic facing this Unversed, it was way more durable then the average Flood.
But despite it's intelligence and abilities, it's attack patterns were still as predicable as any other Unversed she has encountered.
It was probably it's first time in combat, giving her the perfect chance to eliminate it now before it truly became a threat.
"This can't be...my liege held trust in me to make you suffer. Not to be the one that is suffering..." Kier groaned out as it stood up.
"Well it is Kier, your 'liege' put too much faith in you. It is time to give you a quick death, the only kind of mercy a creature of darkness like you and the rest of the Unversed deserve. The only one who will mourn you will be Vanitas. Right before I am through with him for what he has done." Aqua said coldly, training Rainfall towards Kier.
After she was done with this monstrosity, she was going to finish the job with Vanitas to make him suffer for what he did to her friends before handing him over to Master Eraqus.
"No..." Kier growled out weakly as it stood up.
It could not allow itself to die here. Not to some mouse sized Keyblade wielder!
Not like the rest of its kind!
Especially not after disrespecting and threatening it's liege!
"I will not die here!" Kier shouted as it created a silver blade of energy.
"Blizzara!" Aqua casted launching a large shard of ice from her Keyblade and barely dodging the Unversed's desperate attack.
Her spell would have hit the Unversed head on if she didn't dodge. Instead Kier ducked out of the way of the spell as best it could.
Only to scream out in pain as the ice shard scrapped against the corner of its left eye.
Aqua prepared herself for the retaliation.
But was not prepared for where her spell hit to actually cut through the Unversed and it was actually doing something she had never seen before.
For that Kier was holding it's small hands at the corner of its eye, trying to stop black blood from leaking out onto the floor and screaming out in pain.
Aqua contained her shock as best as she could while preparing for whatever she could.
But it still shook her to see this.
An Unversed doesn't bleed, she has destroyed enough to tell.
But given it's intelligence and now this, she was wondering just what was she truly dealing with.
Roxas and the Husk continued their dance of blades for a little bit more before the Unversed split the polearm into the axes and managed to blindsided the Nobody by slamming one of them into his gut.
He doubled over and coughed up some spit before raising Oblivion to block and axe aimed to towards his head.
And slammed Oathkeeper into the Husk's head before jumping back to put some distance between the two of them.
The Husk ignited it's axes and launched two fireballs from them that Roxas managed to parry away them away with his Keyblades before tossing them at the Unversed.
It reformed it's polearm and batted the Keyblades away and charged at Roxas.
Who only grinned as he called upon his light and summoned several spheres towards the Husk, managing to land a few hits on the Unversed before it started to deflect the light spheres.
"I was honestly half expecting you to be able to use your light without the use of magic, still it will not help you all that much against the Husk." Vanitas said as he continued to write in his book and observe the match through the eyes of his Floods.
Though inwardly he was started to be tempted to summon his Keyblade and dispell Magic Seal and pull Kier out if it's fight against Aqua continued the way it was.
Once again bowing not to underestimate her as Kier hadn't even landed a hit yet.
"We will see about that." Roxas said as he recalled his Keyblades and rushed towards the Husk.
It ignited the polearm and launched another pair of fireballs at the Nobody, but we're quickly extinguished by a pair of light pillars crashing into them.
Roxas quickly caught up to the Unversed and engaged in another clash of blades, with the Nobody occasionally using his light to double the lengths of his Keyblades in order to hit the Husk.
After a few hits the Husk pulled back and threw the polearm at him.
Roxas knocked it to the side with a light pillar, but had to bring both of his Keyblades to block the Husk as it jumped into the air and tried to slam both if it's feet into the Nobody.
Before Roxas could summon a light pillar to repeal it, the Husk pushed off of the Keyblades and landed on top of it's polearm. The Husk then kicked off it's weapon and once it was in the air kicked it again, splitting the polearm into the axes and sending them towards Roxas.
Roxas parried away the axes with Oathkeeper and Oblivion, only to block the Unversed as it tried to slam it's feet into him.
Only to widen his eyes in surprise as the feet glowed with a dark brown aura before an explosion of energy erupted from the Husk's feet, blowing the two of them across the arena.
The Husk crashed face first into the ground and Roxas was knocked into one of the arena's walls.
"Okay I do not remember adding that into you, next time make sure to us it on the ground as not to be hit by the recoil." Vanitas called out, getting the Husk to nod as it picked itself up and ran towards it's axes.
Roxas picked himself with a groan just to see the Husk recombined it's axes into the polearm and leaped up into the air, it's feet and the bottom of it's weapon glowed with a dark drown aura.
He barely had anytime to roll out of the way as the Unversed landed back down and created a shockwave that ruptured the ground.
The Nobody got back up and launched a few light spheres at the Husk, hitting it a few times before it used it's polearm to block them.
Roxas summoned his Keyblades and rushed forward while the Unversed split it's polearm into the axes and as the two of them began to clash once again.
That was cut short when the Husk tried to blast Roxas point blank with fireballs. Only to be cut of by pillars of light cutting into them and slamming into the Unversed. Roxas took the chance and rushed forward slashing at the Husk while mixing a few light spheres inorder to make sure the Unversed would stay down.
However the Husk turned out to be too durable as it quickly recovered and slammed one of it's axes into Roxas's midsection.
But not before the Nobody slammed Oathkeeper right into it's head.
Roxas picked himself up with a groan as he went for a Potion while the Unversed stumbled for a bit.
Only for Roxas to bite back a silent curse at noticing Vanitas's spell also worked in his bag, meaning he couldn't get anything from it.
The Husk straighten itself out and reformed it's polearm, one of the ends glowing a dark blue aura.
The Nobody only had enough time to barely get out of the way as a massive stream of darkness erupted from the polearm.
Large enough that it could have consumed the Nobody if he stayed were he was.
The stream of dark energy subsided a few moments later as the Husk slumped against it's polearm. The ground in front of it in a straight line burnt to a crisp.
"Damn, guess I out too much power into that attack." Vanitas said in awe as Roxas recovered and charged at the Unversed.
He summoned a few light spheres and launched them at the Husk, knocking it down. Just as Roxas reached the Unversed it got back up and used it's axes to block Roxas's Keyblades.
For a few moments they fought before the axes glowed a sickly green before it became more aggressive with it's strikes.
Roxas found himself growing on the defensive as the Husk kept getting traction over the course of a few moments before one of the axes slammed into his face.
He had to bite down a scream of pain as a burn pain seemed to course through his body from his face.
The Nobody had been poisoned enough times fighting Heartless to know how deadly it was.
And this was some of the worst poison he had ever encountered, it felt like his veins were on fire, his vision was growing a little blurry, his arms were starting to grow numb, and it was rapidly draining his strength.
He needed to end this soon otherwise Roxas knew this would spread throughout his body and he would be at Vanitas's mercy.
With the poison taking it's toll, Roxas went all out and hoped that his body didn't burn out before the poison did.
Light surged off of the Nobody into pillars that spread out and covered the area in a perpetual sunset.
"Now this is what I am talking about. I suggest you finish this quickly Roxas." Vanitas shouted out, writing in his book faster then before. "That goes double for you as well!"
The Husked nodded at it's liege orders before forming it's polearm and jumping into the air.
It came and unleashed it's shockwave right next to Roxas, but it was blocked by a barrier. Roxas dispelled the barrier around him before thirteen pillar of lights surrounded him as he approached the Husk, battering at the Unversed with them.
Roxas's defense provided to be more then a match as for the Husk as the light pillars kept it at bay and him occasionally releasing spheres of light if it got to far away.
The barrage proving too much for it and the strain starting to take hold on Roxas, he needed to end this now.
He gathered light at the end of his Keyblades as he released the light pillars, causing all of the pillars to crash into the Unversed.
The Husk powered through all of the barrage before the end of it's polearm glowed with a dark blue aura before releasing a massive stream of darkness towards the Nobody.
Who countered by unleashing twin beams of light from is Keyblades, the beams of energy clashing together. The stalemate held for several moments before the light cut through the darkness hit the Husk dead on. It hit it dead on and slammed the Unversed into a downed tree trunk.
It barely had anytime to pick itself up before Roxas covered himself in light and propelled himself towards the Unversed.
He appeared right behind the Husk and slammed it in the back with his Keyblades with all of his strength, sending the Unversed crashing face first into the log. Roxas let lose another light pillar right on top of it for good measure.
Roxas dispelled it and all of the light he created as the strain was proving too much.
That and the way the Husks's head was bent and the polearm vanished meant that it was all over for the Unversed.
But Roxas knew it was not all over yet, he needed to deal with Vanitas and whatever else he was planning.
What he was not expecting was for Vanitas to throw him an Antidote.
"I suggest that should drink that if you are to survive what comes next, and before you ask I did not tamper with it." Vanitas called out, one hand trained on Void Gear.
"Like I have any other choice." Roxas said as he started to drink it, feeling the poison starting to fade away.
"You don't." Vanitas said, readying himself to end the spell and to leave.
He had gathered enough data on the Husk to know he had quite a bit to improve and while he wished to personally see how Roxas would stand against what lay hidden in the Husk...but the Floods were already covering that already thanks to Aqua.
No what was more important was too get Kier away from the pint sized Keyblade Master before squashing her. He could not risk Kier as it was on it's last legs, bleeding, and...
Wait bleeding!
"It hurts! It hurts so much!" Kier cried out as it clutched it's face no in an effort to stop the bleeding.
It didn't care about why it was even bleeding in the first place, no there was only two things that mattered at this point.
Survive and to make Aqua pay for what she had done to it's liege!
Yet it couldn't focus on either one of it's objectives.
As much as Kier hated to admit it...it was too weak to do anything!
It never should have ever asked it's liege for this, now it was going to die and this infuriating human was going to kill it.
Aqua trained Rainfall and lightning began to charge on it.
Kier hated this, feeling this week and dying to this infuriating human! Especially when she threatened to do to it's liege!
It refused to die like this.
"Thunderstorm!" Aqua casted, launching the Shotlock from her Keyblade!
It refused to die like this!
A veil of darkness enveloped Kier and continued to grow even larger from all of the pain and hatred it was feeling, all directed towards Aqua.
It refused to die like this!
"I will kill you!" Kier shouted out as the darkness erupted off of it, the Shotlock never reaching it as the darkness as it started to consume everything in the room.
Aqua barely had anytime to summon a barrier around herself as her eyes widened in horror as the darkness soon consumed everything in the room.
"Okay this is worse then I ever thought possible." The Master of Masters said as he continued to write the events that he saw unfold.
While he was a bit disturbed by the fact Vanitas had created essentially a prototype of the Remnant this early on, especially one as powerful as it was. But he quickly bushed it off after seeing numerous such changes in the timeline.
Though he was concerned Roxas was going to have on hell of a battle from what came from this Husk.
No what had disturbed him the most was the alteration in the timeline he sensed all the way back in the Land of Departure.
It's presence had continued to grow very slowly, but as of this very moment he felt it spike and it for it to grow even more.
The worst part was that, he still didn't know what was even the cause of it or what to even look for.
He has long encounter other such incidents, but for one to be so close to Roxas and Ava with their existences influx and a probable side effect concerned him.
With the way this alteration had been growing and this sudden spike, the Master dreaded what would happen when it finally reared it's head and showed it's true colors.
Braig was on his lunch break and was taking time to check on his own Book of Prophecies when he started to laugh.
"Just one more lock and everything will be truly begin." Luxu said as he observed his book.
For on page 2, Evolution of a Demon, the page was now fully glowing silver.
The ancient Foreteller had a faint idea what this was about, yet it was too early in the grand scheme of things to really tell.
All he needed was for one more event, one more lock to fall and then Luxu knew things would truly begin.
The darkness cleared and Aqua dispelled her barrier and what she saw and felt surprised her.
The very air felt heavy, each breath she took felt like a weight press against her lungs and some kind of... spores made of pure darkness were floating in the air all around her.
One brushed against her back, Aqua felt a weird pulse in her heart, as if trying to pull something out from it's very depths. Only for her light to burn away at the spore and it soon vanished away from existence.
"What was that?" Aqua asked herself, bracings for whatever came next.
"They are a part of me, I guess. This is still all new for me as well you pathetic, little mouse." Kier's voice rang out.
The Keyblade Master turned to see to her surprise the Unversed was back onto it's feet.
Looking perfectly well minus the dried black blood on it's face and a small, jagged scar running across the corner of its left eye.
"I should really be thank you, if I didn't wish to kill you!" Kier shouted out as the spores started to gather and rushed forward to strike at Aqua.
She cartwheeled out of the way, only to be a little disturbed at the sound coming from Kier.
It was a gleefully, pain filled laugh before disappearing.
Aqua kept her guard up as she saw Kier's eyes flicker and it's laugh echoing all around as the dark spores disappeared until there was only a few left.
Then right in front of her was a practical explosion of black blood, just like something burst. Before Kier appeared and Aqua's eyes wide in horror as she summoned a barrier to block an attack from Kier.
Whose appearence was to say the least...a little disturbing.
Gone was the Flood.
Instead stood something twice it's size, covered in fading black blood, and the tattered fading remains of it's old body peeling off like a lizard shedding it's skin.
Instead Kier's body was less angular, it's legs similar to a Shadow's, it's arms now ended in three clawed hands, it's head rounder, and it's antenna were a little smaller.
"What are you?" Aqua said, dispelling her barrier and jumping back as Kier tried to claw at her. The last of it's old body falling off and fading away as well.
"I'm as you said, not only an Unversed but also a monster. One you had a part in making for dragging me to the brink of death. One that is going to enjoy making you suffer for what you did to me!" Kier shouted as it dove into the ground.
Aqua tried to brace herself, but the Unversed proved to be too fast launching itself at the Keyblade Master. Kier's gist landed a direct hit and the force behind the blow sent her up to the air.
Kier them made a swiping motion with one of it's claws, launching two silver blades of energy.
Aqua grunted in pain as one of them crashed into her before barely dodging the second one as she fell back down to the ground.
Kier launched another pair of blades that cut into Aqua as she crashed into the ground.
The Unversed ran up to down Keyblade Master in order to claw at her.
However Aqua picked herself up with a groan and the end of Rainfall lightning crackled.
"Thundaga Shot!" Aqua casted, launching a bolt of condensed electricity at Kier. The spell spreading out once it made impact and electrified the Unversed.
Kier screamed in pain for a moment before shaking off the spell and glaring at Aqua.
"You might have changed you appearence and have gotten some more power. But in the end all I have seen so far is that you are still the same." Aqua said coldly, getting Kier to grow at her.
"You will regret saying those words!" Kier snarled out before cloaking itself.
"I doubt it." Aqua said as she silently casted cure on herself.
Kier was now more of a threat then before, but she knew that it wouldn't matter at all. She would put it down like every other Unversed before her.
And then she would go finish what she started with Vanitas after finding him and Roxas.
"Well this is interesting, and a little too gruesome for my tastes." Vanitas said with a wince as he saw the effects of Kier's transformation.
The Unversed had been half right in the Aqua had helped force the transformation, but it hadn't been the full cause.
No, it seemed that absorbing all of that temporal energy from Roxas did more than gradually increase it's power. With how potent the energy was it must been some residual effects that he should had payed more attention too.
He would have to check on them whenever Kier was done with Aqua, or he needed to actually step in this time.
Things that he will check up on, after this test is done or if Kier really needed his help.
Speaking of the test, his Floods just reminded him it was still going on as Vanitas blocked Roxas's Keyblades with Void Gear.
"You look terrible." Vanitas noted, looking at how exhausted Roxas was looking.
"That would be your fault for that." Roxas said, exhausted from the toll of the poison and from using his light.
"True, but there is something that the both of us seem to have forgotten." Vanitas said, pushing the Nobody back with his Keyblade and calling out to the Unversed within the Husk.
A irritated hiss rose from the remains of the Husk before the area seemed to darken and Roxas grunted in pain.
He briefly wondered what it was before he felt something sticking to his back before he was dragged back down towards the arena.
Roxas came to a roll as he reached the floor and came face to face the Unversed within the Husk.
It was a metallic spider like Unversed that crawled out of the Husk before the body vanished in a puff of darkness.
The new Unversed was about twice as tall as Roxas with a streamline head adorned with three pairs of blue Unversed eyes, a powerful looking jaw, and three small curved horns at the back of it's head. It's body and thorax were also streamlined and all right legs were like a sharpened blade.
In all honesty it was far from the most terrifying Unversed the Nobody has come across in appearence. No instead it was what he could feel being pulled towards the Unversed.
It was his light, now it wasn't just his. All light in the nearby area was pulled towards the Unversed.
"I have been waiting quite a while to introduce this Unversed to you Roxas. Meet the Silver Recluse, an Unversed designed for one purpose and one purpose only. To absorb any and all nearby light, even yours. This is your true test right here. Also Release!" Vanitas said, raising his Keyblade as Roxas could immediately feel his magic return to him.
"So this was your idea, exhausted myself with the Husk before unleashing this thing?" Roxas said, bracing himself for another fight.
He had already strained himself from using his light and this thing was already taking his internal light. If it continued on for too long it could actually put his existence in jeopardy.
"Got that right, and don't even think about escaping. Otherwise it would target the next largest source of light on this world, and honestly the both of us would hate for that to happen." Vanitas said as he went back to his writing.
"Curaga!" Roxas casted, healing himself back up and ready for the Sliver Recluse.
The Nobody had no intention of running at all, ready to end this Unversed before it could end him and go after Cinderella.
The Silver Recluse let out a menacing hiss before charging at the Unversed, begining their fight.
Aqua kept her eyes open for Kier, waiting for the telltale signs of it's golden eyes.
She didn't have to wait long as Kier's eyes appeared right in front of her before the cloaked Unversed sent her flying with a swipe of it's claws.
However Aqua thought this might happen.
"Payback Surge!" Aqua casted, a small barrier forming around itself and propelling her right back into where Kier once was.
Aqua hit exactly where Kier once was and slammed into the cloaked Unversed, An explosion of force happens upon impact and sending Kier flying into the wall of the other side of the room and decloaking it.
The Keyblade Master panted a little as the barrier around her faded. The recoil of the technique always drained her a little.
But it certainly delt more damage to Kier then it did her.
"Why don't you just die already!" Kier shouted out, launching a small sphere of dark energy at rapid speed towards Aqua who barely dodged it. "That's new."
Kier quickly shook off it's shock before it's eyes took a sadistic gleam before jumping into the walls.
For the next minute Kier kept popping out of the walls, testing this new ability. The attack kept getting faster and more accurate.
All the while Aqua was launching Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder at the Unversed while dodging it's attacks. She was hoping to hit Kier in order to create an opening to launch her counter attack.
It soon came, just not in the way Aqua was expecting.
On of Kier's dark spheres hit Aqua and pushed her back, with her discharging a silent Blizzard spell that struck the Unversed and froze it's hand to the wall.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Kier shouted as it tried to pry it's arm lose.
Aqua casted a silent Cure on herself before training Rainfall on the struggle Unversed.
Lightning charged at the tip before Aqua unleashed her Shotlock.
"Thunderstorm!" Aqua casted as a volley of lightning bolts were discharged from her Keyblade.
They struck at Kier who screamed out in pain as it was dislodged from the wall and collapsed onto the floor.
Aqua rushed towards the Unversed as it picked itself back up and growled at her.
"Knock it off already!" Kier shouted as it unleashed a pair of silver energy with it's claws.
The Keyblade Master cartwheeled between the blades before the tip of her Keyblade lit aflame.
"Triple Firaga!" Aqua casted, sending three fireballs towards Kier that battered into it.
Once it recovered it saw Aqua jumping on magic platforms before surrounding herself in barrier in an attempt to slam into Kier.
But as she got close, Kier's eyes gained a dangerous gleam and unleased an explosion of silver energy from it's body that blew Aqua back.
Her barrier crashed and rolled onto the floor before it faded, leaving Aqua a little disoriented.
Once the world stopped spinning, she quickly noticed that the explosion of energy had singed the floor and that it had also damaged Kier a bit as the Unversed was picking itself up with a groan.
"Note to self, be careful with that attack." Kier said as it picked itself back up from the backlash of it's attack.
Kier then immediately pulled back and swiped it's claws, unleashing a dark sphere at Aqua before two pairs of energy blades.
Aqua weaved through the attacks and noticed that Kier had disappeared. Before she could brace herself, Kier emerged from the floor and slammed a fist into her.
Kier's eyes lit up at the look of pain that crossed Aqua's face before sending another pair of energy blades into her, propelling the miniaturized Keyblade Master higher into the air.
Before Aqua could recover to use Payback Surge, Kier emerged from a nearby wall and launched a dark sphere that impacted Aqua in the gut and sent her flying towards a nearby wall.
Kier sunk back into the wall and shot itself from the ceiling. It slammed Aqua into the nearby wall.
"Did you enjoy that, well you better. It is only the beginning!" Kier growled out as it began to claw away at Aqua and push her deeper and deeper into the wall.
Aqua did her best to fight through the pain as Kier kept clawing away at her for a few moments. She found an opening and used Rainfall to bat away one of Kier's claws.
"Poison!" She casted, getting Kier to laugh and claw at her again.
"Is that all you got left, it will take a lot more then a little poison to beat me!" Kier shouted confidently.
"I know, Glacier!" Aqua casted, using the brief lapse by cure to unleash a burst of ice magic.
Within moments the wall around her was coated in frost and Kier was frozen solid with trails of mist streaming off of it. The ice ruptured and burst, destroying a small portion of the wall and sent a now half frozen and badly injured Unversed flying halfway across the room.
Aqua jumped out of the wall with a groan before grabbing a Mega Ether from her bag and immediately began to down it.
She had resorted to using one of her strongest spells to escape that situation and in an attempt to finish of Kier and now she was almost out of magic.
And judging by the way Kier was looking and picking itself up, the Unversed was close to being on it's last legs.
She needed to make sure to end this soon.
"Curaga!" Aqua casted, healing herself of all the injuries of Kier's latest attack.
Just in time for Kier to pick itself up and cloak itself.
Aqua braced herself and casted a silent spell before scanning the room for any sign of the sentient Unversed.
She kept virgil for Kier before catching a brief glimpse of it's flickering eyes.
However did nothing as she let the Unversed approach her.
Until it got close enough to trip the Seeker Mines and blasted Kier up into the air and decloaking itself.
"Magnera!" Aqua casted, creating a blue and red sphere above her along that began to spin around and created a pink vortex that sucked up the air.
"Let me go!" Kier shouted out as it began to swipe its claws, creating pairs of silver energy blades all over the place in a vain attempt to hit Aqua.
The Keyblade Master jumped back to avoid a pair of the blades and the tip of Rainfall lit aflame.
"Triple Firaga!" Aqua casted, launching three fireballs that slammed into Kier's head. Disorienting the Unversed as the spell ended, Aqua ran forward while coating herself in electricity.
Kier managed to catch itself from collapsing onto the ground, but Aqua slammed into the Unversed and discharged.
"Thunder Surge!" She casted, getting Kier to screamed out in pain as electricity courses through it's body.
Before the Unversed growled as it launched a sphere of darkness point blank at Aqua before trying to claw at her.
Aqua recovered and decked underneath Kier's attack before counterattacking.
"Stun Edge! Wishing Edge!" Aqua shouted as she swung her Keyblade and hit Kier in the head, stunning the Unversed. Following up by her jumping forward and spinning with her Keyblade, landing at least least three blows before jumping back as Kier sunk into the floor.
She was bracing herself for whatever the Unversed might throw at her.
Except for it emerging right behind her and grabbed Aqua with both of it's hands. Her eyes widening as silver energy began to cover it's body.
"There is no saving you now!" Kier declared as it engulfed the both of them in an explosion of silver energy, intent on finishing of Aqua.
About a few moments later the explosion died down and Aqua struggled out of Kier's grasp, burnt and in pain.
But nothing except a Curaga and a mega elixer should help with that.
Though she quickly noticed that Kier was in a worse condition then she was in.
The Unversed was badly burnt and had almost completely crashed into the ground.
Kier had severally underestimated the backlash of it's attack and how much the poison had been affecting it.
It needed to get out of here as it's king's orders...but it refused.
"I am not done yet..." Kier groaned out as Aqua casted Curaga.
The Unversed weakly swung it's claws and created a pair of silver energy blades. Aqua.
She just sidestepped it and launched a fireball that caused the Unversed to double over in pain.
Before it began to fade as a silver aura covered it and the pain began to fade. Kier watched in amazement as a small portion of it's injuries faded away before the aura dispersed with an empty feeling.
It had only recovered a little bit, but it was enough for Kier to gain a second wind. It's eyes gleam menacingly before cloaking itself.
Aqua quickly kept an eye out for Kier, but she soon was struck in the back by a sphere of darkness.
She barely had any time to recompose herself before cartwheeling away from a pair of energy blades
Aqua looked around, but no sign of Kier anywhere. Yet from another wall a sphere of darkness nearly clipped her, the Keyblade Master figured that it was trying to get her from the walls.
So for the next minute Aqua kept on the defensive, blocking Kier's attacks with her barrier or dodging them. Keeping an eye out for wherever the sentient Unversed was lurking.
It didn't take her long afterwards to find Kier as it's eyes gleamed from the wall.
Taking her chance lightning gleamed off the top of her Keyblade before casting a silent Thunder spell.
That hit it directly between the eyes. It screamed out in pain.
Kier was dislodged from the wall and decloaked as it held it's head in pain before lashing out with a pair of energy blades.
Aqua cartwheeled through them while water gathered at the tip of her Keyblade.
"Water!" Aqua casted, launching a stream of water directly into it's eyes.
"Seriously what is it with you and the eyes! Just die already!" Kier shouted, covering it's eyes and unleashing a sphere of darkness that the Keyblade Master sidestepped.
Giving Aqua the chance she needed to finish this.
"Water!" Aqua casted, launching another stream of water at the Unversed.
She kept this up, repeating launching streams of water and pushing the Unversed back against the wall. Once Kier was there and tourghly drenched, Aqua jumped into the air as mist began to surround her in a whirlwind.
"No, not like this!" Kier shouted trying to sink back into the wall.
But it was too late.
"Deep Freeze!" Aqua casted, launching the whirlwind of freezing air around her and it hit Kier.
The Unversed screamed out in pain as the frozen wind cut through it and quickly began freeze it over.
Within a moment Kier and a small portion of the wall was frozen over. With Kier partially frozen in the wall, it broke away and shattered a good portion of the ice.
There Kier laid there motionless, partial frozen and wisps of darkness starting to trail off of it.
"Impossible..." Kier trailed off admit realized that it was starting to fade away.
The Silver Recluse let out a stream of webbing from it's thorax, getting Roxas to sidestep it.
"Blizzaga!" Roxas casted, creating an ice mine as the Unversed charged at him. The Nobody rolled out of the way of the Silver Recluse trying to spear him with it's legs before the mine detonated right above it.
However the spell barely affected the Unversed, who hissed out in annoyance as it's metallic skin seemed to gleam.
And the next thing Roxas knew a hard light copy of the Silver Recluse shot off from the Unversed and slammed into him like a battling ram.
It sent him flying before crashing into the arena's wall. Roxas picked himself with up with a groan before using his Keyblades to parry away a ball of webbing it launched at him.
The Unversed charged at him with a loud his, spitting out a small bit of venom.
"Fira!" Roxas casted, launching two fireballs from both Oathkeeper and Oblivion.
One of them incinerated the venom.
The other one hit it dead on and got the Silver Recluse to hiss out in pain.
Roxas ran up to the Unversed and landed several hits on it with his Keyblades before it spat out some venom and pulled itself back with it's webbing.
Roxas backed away from the venom when he noticed the Silver Recluse's skin gleamed once again.
And it opened it's mouth, releasing a thin beam of light that Roxas barely had time to dodge. It swung it's head and Roxas jumped back as the beam cut a thin trench into the dirt before stopping a few moments later.
The Silver Recluse let out a tired hiss before spitting another wad of venom at Roxas. He sent a fireball to burn it up before rushing forwards towards the Unversed, dispelling Oathkeeper and placing both of his hands on Oblivion.
"Gravity Break!" Roxas shouted, generating a violent sphere at the end of Oblivion and tried to hit the Unversed.
But the Silver Recluse was smart enough to hook one of it's front legs with his Keyblade to block the attack and used two other legs to defend it's head. And a fourth one going in an attempt to impale Roxas.
All in all a decent plan, but Roxas simply pulled his Keyblade back and blocked the leg aiming to impale him with the gravity sphere. Detonating it and sending them both back.
Roxas was pushed back a few feet due to the recoil while the Silver Recluse was flipped onto it's back.
The Unversed let out a disgruntled hiss as it immediately set to right itself back up.
Roxas summoned Oathkeeper into his free hand and trained it on the Silver Recluse.
"Thundaga!" Roxas casted, causing a massive bolt of lightning crashed into the Unversed.
Which proceeded to let out an ungodly shriek of pain as it righted itself back up and collapsed onto the ground.
"Probably should not have made the skin metallic." Vanitas noted while the Floods around him covered their ears from the noise.
Roxas tried to attack it once again, but the spider like Unversed discharged another hard light projection that slammed into the Nobody and sent him into the air.
Once he recovered in the air, the Silver Recluse webbed one of the longs in the arena wall and ripped it out. Flinging it at Roxas.
"Aerora!" Roxas casted, launching two wind lances from his Keyblade that cut through the log and impacted the Unversed.
Who let out a hiss of annoyance as it barely effected it before webbing one of the logs and brining it towards it's front legs.
The Silver Recluse smashed it and mixed the log with it's webbing before creating several balls that it threw them at Roxas.
He incinerated a few of them with fireballs, but two of them slammed into Roxas. One slammed into his arms and his right leg. Grunting in pain from the splinters and binded in webbing.
Setting the Nobody up to be slammed by another hard light projection.
Roxas was once again thrown into the air and was in a daze as the Silver Recluse grabbed him with it's webbing and slamming him down into the ground.
He picked himself with a groan and rolled out of the way as it spat a wad of venom at him before charging once again.
Roxas at the very fringes of his limit, but he couldn't use it. The Silver Recluse's mere presence had absorbed a good portion of his already strained light and kept getting stronger with it's light attacks if the hard light projections were of any indication.
That and it was out of the range of his new spell, so he would have to do with what he could.
"Thunder!" Roxas casted, launching a string of lightning bolts towards the Silver Recluse as it charged at Roxas.
The Unversed let out an annoyed hissed before light gleamed off it's metallic skin and suddenly they were three of them.
The spell passed through the middle Unversed, which vanished to reveal that it was a mirage.
The two Unversed launched streams of webbing at Roxas, getting him to jump back.
But both of the Silver Recluses. where undeterred and swung their webbing.
The Unversed on the right's webbing touched Roxas, only to reveal that it was also a mirage that faded away.
Getting him to dodge the true Silver Recluse's webbing.
Only for its webbing to grab another log from the arena's wall and pull it back towards itself and slammed it into Roxas's back.
The Nobody picked himself up as the Unversed broke down the log and mix it with it's webbing.
"Cura!" Roxas casted as the Silver Recluse started throwing balls of webbing and wood debris at the Nobody.
Roxas began to dodge and weave through the spells while healing and burning some of the projectiles with fireballs.
The Silver Recluse let out an annoyed hiss before it's armor started to gleam and released a thin beam of light from it's mouth in an attempt to cut Roxas apart.
"Reflect!" Roxas casted, summoning the barrier which protected Roxas from the laser.
But not from the hard light projection that came right after it, shattering the barrier and sending Roxas right into the air.
And a wad of venom slammed into him, causing Roxas to feel a burning sensation in his body before being slammed down into the ground by webbing.
It hurt like all hell as the venom course through his veins, but Roxas picked himself back up.
"Esuna!" Roxas casted, a set of blue spheres forming around him and covering the Nobody soft yellow glow. Burning away the poison.
The Silver Recluse unleashed another thin laser from it's mouth that Roxas had barely any time to roll away from as it cut a trench into the ground.
Not even a moment later it unleashed another hard light projection that for the first time Roxas managed to dodge at least barely.
Having enough Roxas train both of his Keyblades at the Unversed.
"Firaza!" Roxas casted, launching two massive plumes of fire that he had to dig his heels into the ground as to not allow himself to be pushed back by the sheer force.
He kept this up for only a moment or two before cutting off the spell as it was draining his magic quite a bit.
Yet it proved to be enough to harm the Unversed from the pained hisses as the flames consumed it.
Giving Roxas the perfect chance to strike.
"Thunder!" Roxas casted, launching a stream of lightning bolts.
The Silver Recluse noticed this and it's metallic skin gleamed to produce two mirages of itself.
Exactly what the Nobody was counting on.
"Thundara!" Roxas casted, creating a curtain of lightning bolts that separated into multiple directions and pour as much magic he had left into the spell.
The first spell hit the left most spider revealing it to have been a mirage.
The second spell hit the remainder of the two, revealing the center Unversed to have been the real thing as it let out an unholy shriek as multiple bolts of lightning struck it.
Roxas took the chance to down an ether and a mega potion before rushing forward.
The Silver Recluse regained it's composure and it's armor gleamed as it unleashed a thin laser that Roxas kept dodging as the spider like Unversed kept trying to cut him up until he got close enough to the Unversed.
"Thundaga!" Roxas casted, getting a massive lightning bolt to crash into the Unversed. Letting out an ungodly screech that even Vanitas found grating.
It was then Roxas began to truly wail into the Silver Recluse.
For the next minute Roxas kept striking the Unversed with Oathkeeper and Oblivion while occasionally casting Thundaga if the Silver Recluse seemed to be recovering in the slightest bit.
He was giving the Unversed no quarter, he needed to finish this soon before this Unversed got too strong for him to defeat and actually put his existence in jeopardy.
From his seat Vanitas frowned underneath his helmet as he continued to write.
Despite it's evolved form, Kier was struggling against Aqua and there was a chance that he needed to step in before it got killed. Along with the fact Roxas's counterattack against the Silver Recluse was nearly killing it.
The next time he created an Unversed he needed to make sure it had such a glaring weakness to a single element. A few more hits like that and it would be defeated. And he was gathering so much data.
"Maybe I should lend out a hand." Vanitas said, his hand glowing in darkness.
"Thundaga!" Roxas casted once again, getting the Unversed to let out an unholy scream as it collapsed to the ground.
Before he could land another hit with his Keyblades, he felt himself being struck in the back.
Turning around he saw that a single Scrapper had attacked him and was winding up for another attack.
Before being cut down by Oathkeeper and Oblivion.
Still it proved it's purpose, it distracted Roxas long enough for the Silver Recluse to regain it's composure.
Roxas turned around to see the Silver Recluse let out an angry hiss as it's armor gleamed and it launched a hard light projection.
He barely had anytime to cast Reflect before the projection slammed into the shield and him, sending Roxas flying into one of the arena's walls.
The Nobody could only groan as he picked himself out of the webbing and leaned against Oblivion.
That last hit had almost knocked him out and that was with Oblivion blocking most of the damage.
He needed to finish this soon.
"Curaga!" Roxas casted, healing himself up just as the Silver Recluse released a thin laser that he barely dodged.
It tried to cut him up several times, but Roxas dodged as best he could while trying to stay within the spell's area of effects.
When the laser ended it's armor gleamed once more and it summoned mirages that proceeded to all unleash hard light projections.
Having no choice Roxas jumped out of Curaga's range while the Unversed kept up their barrage.
And he might have an idea on what to do, it was a long shot but it could work.
Only had one shot at this given how powerful the Silver Recluse was becoming, but it was worth it.
Raising both Keyblades up into the air, Roxas charged water at the ends of them.
"Watera!" Roxas casted, launching multiple streamers of water into the air...only for them to break apart into rain midair.
He was still practicing that spell with Aqua, but had the desired effect that he was hoping for as the water droplets fell down upon the Unversed and it's mirage's. All of them letting out a confused hiss at this.
However Vanitas knew that this wasn't going to end well as the Floods huddled behind him.
"Thundara!" Roxas casted, creating multiple bolts of lightning that spread out.
Before centering on the left most Unversed, shocking it and letting out an unholy screech as the mirages vanished.
Combine it's metallic skin and being coated in water did double the damage the Silver Recluse would have suffered.
Roxas rushed up to the Unversed, digging deep to unleash one final spell against it.
Past his light and into the true depths of a Nobody.
Nothingness.
The Silver Recluse noticed this and it's skin gleamed to unleash another attack, but it never got the chance to.
"Ruin!" Roxas casted, creating a small gray sphere that flew from the tip of Oathkeeper and impacted the head of the Silver Recluse.
A moment later it exploded, unleashing shockwave of gray energy that pushed the Unversed back before all the energy returned to the point of impact before dispersing.
The Silver Recluse was badly chared and let out a long painful hiss as it swayed side to side before collapsing down onto the ground.
It's armor dulled and the Unversed was no more as it exploded in a plume of darkness and all the light returned to normal.
Roxas panted as the arena fell to shambles as the webbing started to fade.
It was finally over, there was nothing draining his light anymore but it had still done quite a bit of damage that would take some rest to restore.
Though also using a spell that tied directly to nothingness also contributed a small part to the exhaustion.
The scroll the Master of Masters had left described it to be an advanced if destructive spell that was easy to learn, yet difficult to pull off.
But was spot on about his nature as a Nobody being easily able to us it and to enhance the power.
He was still working on the backlash though.
Still he turned to face Vanitas, ready to face whatever he threw his way.
Only to see the ancient Keyblade wielder close his book and open a Corridor of Darkness behind him.
"Congratulations Roxas, you passed your test. You and Aqua both. I have something to deal with, but know this isn't the last time you will see me on this world." Vanitas said ominously as the Floods clamored onto his back and stepped into the Corridor.
Which closed just as Roxas threw Oblivion at him, the teeth of the Keyblade embedding itself into tree trunk where he was.
Roxas leaned against Oathkeeper as he sat down against an upturned log.
He needed to get back to Aqua...after he took a minute or two to rest.
Aqua trained Rainfall towards the fading form of Kier as it struggled to move. Possibly in a last ditch attempt to escape it's fate.
But it didn't matter, for she was going to make sure nothing remained of Kier this time.
"Thundaga!" Aqua casted, launching a huge bolt of lightning towards the Unversed.
Only to have it blocked by sphere of darkness.
"I do not think so pipsqueak." Vanitas said as he emerged from a Corridor in the floor right next to Kier, grabbing the sentient Unversed with one arm and pouring an aura of darkness over it. "Sorry but I am not going to let you finish off Kier."
"My king...I failed you..." Kier groaned out as it could feel it's strength stating to recover little by little in Vanitas's arms.
"No it is the other way around, I thought that you could handle this. But look at you now, this is interesting. You did your best, so for now just rest and we will focus on the rest in a bit." Vanitas said as the Floods on his shoulder glared at Aqua given he couldn't really do so himself at the moment.
"Off course...my liege..." Kier said as it's eyes dimmed.
"Now as for you." Vanitas said angerily as he summoned Void Gear and summoned a wind to blow Aqua away as she tried to attack him.
Aqua landed on the other side of the room, giving the ancient Keyblade wielder the coldest glare she could muster.
"Where is Roxas?" Aqua asked coldly, getting Vanitas to dispell his Keyblade and raise his free hand in surrender with the Floods mirroring his action.
"Safe but exhausted, he should be back soon. But I would be more worried at what Lady Tremaine would do soon." Vanitas said as ice began to form at the end of Aqua's Keyblade.
"And why should I trust anything you say." Aqua stated coldly.
"You shouldn't, but Tremaine would literally do far worse to this world then me if given the chance and it will literally arrive at her doorstep within the hour. Unless you two make sure Cinderella gets free." Vanitas said honestly.
Aqua wanted to deny it...but Vanitas had a point.
Tremaine was the biggest threat on this world, but Vanitas's darkness was threatening multiple worlds.
So she will eliminate them both.
"And what do you stand to gain from all this, Cinderella. Neither myself or Roxas will allow that to happen." Aqua said, firing off the ice shard.
Only to be blocked by a fire ball by Vanitas.
"I could care less about her, no what I am more interested in is making sure Tremaine pays." Vanitas said before snapping his fingers. "That and making sure you suffer for what you did to my eyes and Kier."
Two plumes of darkness emerged from behind Aqua to reveal two Scrappers.
"Believe me I will be making sure that you will pay in due time, but none of that matters now. Just know when Tremaine snaps, I will be back." Vanitas said before sinking into the floor with Kier as the Corridor closed and the air returned to normal.
That was the cue for the Scrappers to rush Aqua.
The closest one tried to claw at Aqua, but the Keyblade Master jumped above the claw and onto a magic platform.
She coated herself in a barrier before slamming herself into the Unversed and sending it sprawling onto the floor.
As Aqua began her descent, the second Scrapper came after her.
Aqua just trained Rainfall downwards as the tip lit aflame.
"Firaga!" Aqua casted, launching a large fireball downwards.
It propelled herself even higher into the air and over the Unversed's claw, the spell finishing off the first Scrapper on the floor.
Aqua charged up a sphere of water at the end of her Keyblade as the final Scrapper jumped up after her inorder to claw at her.
"Bubble Burst!" She casted her Shotlock, launching multiple bubbles at the Unversed and pushed it back.
Once it was all over, Aqua generated a magic platform to propel herself towards the Unversed.
The Scrapper recomposed itself and tried to claw at her, but a quick lightning bolt from Aqua caused it to stumble back before she finished it off with a slash from her Keyblade.
Aqua landed gracefully as the last Unversed disappeared in a plume of smoke.
She looked around incase Vanitas had anything else lying in wait before pulling out a potion and started to down it.
If Vanitas was telling the truth and while she doubted he was, Lady Tremaine was going to force her hand soon and that was when he would strike next.
She needed to get Cinderella and Roxas and deal with her.
After that she would have to find Ven and keep him safe from Vanitas and return him home or to their Master.
Then she would devote herself to wiping both Vanitas and Kier from existence. They were a blight on the worlds, one spreading chaos through the Unversed and the other a monster of unknown potential.
Their darkness will be extinguished either by her hand, Master Eraqus's, Roxas's, or Terra's.
Either way, she will see them extinguished for what they had done.
The screen flickered as the chapter ended and the projector died down as the author removed the reel.
*Hey guys Hakuorofan7 here and hoped that you all enjoyed this chapter.*
*Took quite a bit to put this chapter together. Have been busy in my real life while also working on some of my other stories. That and also working on my own project...I am working on my own book. Trying to find time to write it while also writing for this site has been difficult but I am determined to finish writing my first book before at least January next year.*
*Maybe, maybe not but I do hope this becomes a reality.*
*Anyway onto the main events on the chapter.*
*In the fight with Kier Aqua would have easily defeated Kier even while evolved if this was at her regular size. Kier was in no way capable of winning this fight due to experience. Though it gained an upper hand due to evolving in a way to better suited to dealing with Aqua, in the end it proved inefficient with the Keyblade Master's magic prowess and cold ferocity.*
*This is only the start of Kier's changes, but as you can already see it is in it's first step to becoming something as dangerous as Vanitas...*
*As for Roxas's fight he was really put through the ringer. With Magic Seal spell, the raw power of the Husk, and Silver Recluse being created to absorb his light. He actually had a chance of dying and that was what Vanitas was hoping for, to push Roxas to his absolute limits inorder to see what he was capable of.*
*He managed to come out on top though if exhausted as hell. Roxas is going to need to some rest after that, but he won't get much due to what happens next chapter.*
*Speaking of which next chapter will have the end of the Castle of Dreams with Lady Tremaine makes one last move as her plan falls apart and gets what's coming to her while Vanitas unleashes one last test on Roxas and Aqua and I hope that you all will enjoy it when it comes out.*
*Anyway the next chapter should be out in November if everything goes to plan and here's hoping that it does.*
*So that is all for now.*
*If you have any questions leave a review or PM and I will reply back when I can. So until next time, ciao!*
The author waves goodbye as the screen fades to black.
