The screen flickers for a bit before the author appears in the theater, next to the camera.

*Hey guys Hakuorofan7 here and welcome back to the long awaited next chapter of From Someone to No One.*

*This chapter should have been out in December, but life has been a bit difficult lately as I'm trying to balance everything.*

*But anyway enough of that, let's begin the next chapter. I believe you all waited long enough as it is.*

*Anyway this chapter wraps up Castle of Dreams with Tremaine's plans blowing up in her face and Vanitas sicking one final test on Aqua and Roxas. Along with the two of them getting a better idea of how dangerous Vanitas can be and what awaits them next.*

*So then let's begin this chapter, shall we.*

*First I do not own Kingdom Hearts.*

*Secondly just sit back, relax, maybe put some music in, and enjoy. I will see you all at the end of the chapter.*

The author taps the projector as it flares to life, the screen turning to static as the chapter begins.

A Dream Come True

After about a minute Roxas felt like he could stand on his own, after downing a mega ether and potion.

He was more exhausted then he had been in quite a long while. This 'test' of Vanitas had come very close to putting his existence in danger with the abilities of the Silver Recluse. The Nobody needed to take some rest, but that could wait.

He needed to reunite with Aqua, save Cinderella from Lady Tremaine, whatever Vanitas was planning next.

He got off of the log he had been sitting on and was about to open a Corridor of Darkness, when the sounds of static filled his ears.

Roxas winced as the sound grew louder and louder for a few moments before it grew clear.

"-ello Roxas can you hear me?" The Master of Masters voice rang through the back of his head.

"I can hear you." Roxas said, getting the ancient Keyblade wielder to let out a sigh of relief.

"Finally, been trying to reach you since you took down the Silver Recluse. How are you feeling?" The Master asked.

"I'm fine, exhausted but fine. That was cutting it a little close though." Roxas sighed out.

"I would think so, there has never been an Unversed like the Silver Recluse in any timeline before. Add in the Husk which I can only guess is an early prototype to one of his strongest Unversed I can only guess Vanitas was testing your limits. Beyond that, I have no clue. A few possibilities, but with how things have been progressing with the timeline so far it is difficult to tell." The Master sighed out.

"Honestly I should have guessed, but I take it that you were trying to reach me about something else. This dark presense you said that you sensed?" Roxas inquired, getting a deep sigh from their correction.

"You got that right, it might possibly be what Vanitad was testing against Aqua. What I do know is that it was steadily growing. Now though, it has taken a large leap in power. I believe that you felt it earlier?" The Master asked, getting Roxas to pause for a moment before nodding.

"I didn't, though I did feel a spike of negativity it was faint, I just thought Vanitas had created another Unversed or it was the Silver Recluse emerging from the Husk." Roxas said.

Though that would explain why Vanitas seemed distracted. Whatever it was, he also didn't expect that to happen.

"Well whateve happens, it would be a good idea to inquire Aqua about what happened..." The Master said before static began to ring out through Roxas's ear.

Seems like the connection was starting to break once again.

"I was already planning on it, but one more thing before you go? Do you have any idea on what Vanitas might try to do?" Roxas asked.

After a bit of silence for a few moments, the connection strengthened and the static vanished.

"Fine I will be brief. It is all up to you, but I believe you should know that you have already changed history enough...Out of all the scenarios involving this world and the Unversed, 1/5 of the time Lady Tremaine and her daughters are killed by a large Unversed. On the other 4 times they survive...only of them has one or both of the sister turn over a new leaf...it seems like that result has already happen...whatever you have been doing before keep it up. You got this... we will talk again soon enough...until then good luck Roxas." The Master said, before the connection cut off.

After hearing that Roxas sighed at summoning a Corridor of Darkness.

Seems like there was one more push in this world.

One last push and he and Aqua could free this world from the Unversed and whatever Lady Tremaine could use the ones under her control.

And to protect Cinderella from whatever her stepmother might come up with and whatever Unversed Vanitas will unleash on them.

"Kier...Kier..."

The sentient Unversed groaned out as it heard Vanitas's voice.

"My liege..." Kier groaned out as it noticed that they were in the forest just outside of Lady Tremaine's manor.

"Good your awake, how are you feeling." Vanitas asked as Kier noticed that it was lying directly infront of it's king.

"Exhausted, but alive my liege... I'm sorry that I have failed you." Kier said with al bow.

Vanitas could only sigh at that.

"No it's my fault, I trusted you to go against a Keyblade Master unprepared and it nearly got you killed. I can't afford to lose you." The ancient Keyblade wielder admitted, surprising the Unversed.

"My liege, no it wa-" "Don't you start Kier, it was my fault and carelessness. Sending you against Aqua was both a blessing and a curse. Sure you have evolved and you did well against Aqua at a reduced sized, but you nearly died. I am going to need your help if I am ever going to get past the old coot and Luxu. So for now on, no matter if you hate it or it goes against my orders run if you are outmatched without back up or I say otherwise. So don't blame yourself for my mistakes, alright?" Vanitas said, cutting off Kier.

The sentient Unversed looked at it's king a little strangely. It had never seen it's king admit to a mistake made by a member of the hoard.

It just showed how much faith it's king had faith in it, that despite it's failure that he still had enough trust in it.

Kier was touched and elated that it's king held the Unversed in such high regard...but it didn't fell like it deserved it.

Especially after being nearly killed by that blue haired insect! If the Unversed ever saw her again anytime soon, it was going to make sure to try and gut her!

But it's king was right, if it were to have died then it could no longer served it's king, no longer to absorb temporal energy from that interesting human, and no chance to get revenge on that blue haired insect for nearly killing it!

"If that is what you wish for my liege? Though what are we going to do now?" Kier said, tilting it's head in confusion.

"I have an idea, but first there is something I need to see. Those spores, can you control them?" Vanitas asked, getting Kier to ponder what he meant.

Before noticing that there were spores of darkness floating around it.

"They haven't faded yet?" Kier stated as it reached to touch a spore, only for it to sink into it's skin.

"Nope, seems like you produce this unconsciously. Perhaps you can control them? Try focusing on the emotions you had once they first appeared." Vanitas suggested.

Kier only nodded as it began to concentrate. On the exact feelings it felt upon evolving.

The anger, the pain, and the elation.

It concentrate as hard as it could on those emotions for as hard as it could for a few moments. There was nothing.

Until it felt something connect. Then it felt another connection, and another, and another. Soon it felt a whole web of connections, like they were an extension of it's self. Most of them faint, but some it could feel responding to it's will.

Kier focused on those connections and willed them to surround it's hand.

A small amount of spores gathered around its hand.

The sentient Unversed tried to gather more spores, but no more would respond to it's command.

"This is all I can control my liege." Kier said, getting Vanitas to nod.

"I see it is at least better then nothing." Vanitas said as he took a step back and summoned a Scrapper. "Try using these spores against this Unversed and myself. They proofed to be ineffective against Aqua, so let's try another target then."

"Are you certain my liege?"

Kier asked.

"Just do it." Vanitas said, getting the sentient Unversed to nod.

It out stretched it's hand and split the group of spores in two and sent them towards the Unversed and Vanitas.

The spores passed through the Scrapper, which twitched bit otherwise wasn't affected once the spores passed through it.

As for Vanitas he felt nothing for a few moments.

Until the discomfort set in soon felt by a burning, excruciating pain as he barely held in howling out in pain.

It felt like they were eating part of him alive!

Not even a moment later he felt the pain fade away as the spores left him and all of them in the air retreated into Kier as the Unversed rushed towards it's king.

"My liege I am-" Kier tried to say, but was cut off when Vanitas raised a hand towards it.

"Don't I literally asked for it." Vanitas groaned out as he looked around them. "No more spores, you absorbed them."

"I did, once I saw the spores affecting you, I called them back. But I felt something from the ones I took from you. Any idea what happened my liege?" Kier asked with concern.

"I have an idea, but we can focus on that later." Vanitas said as he got up.

He knew exactly which part of his accursed biology the spores affected. While he was curious on what affects the spores would have besides eating away at him, the ancient Keyblade wielder was hesitant about summoning any Heatless into the Realm of Light.

But to get an edge against Xehanort, Luxu, and Eraqus's apprentices...it would be worth the risk.

But Kier was not ready yet, at least by his standards.

"First I need you to go the Enchanted Domain and take control of the Unversed there until I arrive. You will not be clinging to Roxas this time." Vanitas said, getting Kier to slump a little.

"But my liege-" "Don't give me that Kier, while his temporal energy benefits us, you need training. The time difference between worlds should give you enough time to get some experience in. Once Roxas gets there you can resume draining his energy all right." Vanitas said, getting Kier to huff.

"Fine." Kier said, getting Vanitas to chuckle a little.

"Good, now your teacher." Vanitas said, snapping his fingers.

In a plume of darkness a large armored Unversed appeared, with a single bladed sword in hand.

"This Unversed here I've created is made to mimic the blade work and spell work of a basic Keyblade wielder. Should get you better practice when the need to fight occurs. So train up and make sure to keep out of the notice of the old coot and that twisted fairy, they should be working on their plan for Terra soon enough." Vanitas said, opening a Corridor of Darkness. The Unversed nodded before it walked through the Corridor.

"Understood my liege." Kier said as it jumped through the Corridor before it closed behind them.

"Now then as for you..." Vanitas said as looked at the Scrapper he summoned. "I actually don't have anything for you to do."

The ancient Keyblade wielder opened a Corridor of Darkness in front of it.

"If you want something to do, go and try to squash Aqua." Vanitas said, getting the Scrapper to nod as it walked through the Corridor.

Vanitas closed the Corridor and walked through the bush a few steps to see a pair of Flood finishing to bury the remains from the pumpkin from last night. And another watering the dirt with a watering can it stole.

"Now then." Vanitas said as he cracked his fingers, wisps of darkness rolling off them. "Time to cultivate the tool for Tremaine's downfall."

After a few minutes of rest Aqua believed that she had rested well enough before she trained Rainfall to unlock the door.

Only to jump back as the door opened to reveal an exhausted looking Roxas, getting Aqua to let out a sigh of relief.

"Are you alright Aqua?" The Nobody asked

"I'm alright, but what about you Roxas? You look like you could collapse, just what did Vanitas do to you?" Aqua asked with concern.

While internally just adding just another reason to her ever growing list on grievances to make sure Vanitas pays for.

"Nothing except unleashing two powerful Unversed one after the other. I have been through worse, so I'll be alright." Roxas said as he looked around the room and noticed it's ruined state, along with a half frozen and collapsed wall.

Aqua frowned at his response, once again thankful that his previous master had been delt with before either her, Terra, or their Master got to him.

"I wouldn't say that it's nothing Roxas." The Keyblade Master sighed out. "But did any of the Unversed display any kind of intelligence beyond what have you seen so far? Perhaps sentience?" She inquired.

"Nothing like that, did you?" Roxas asked, a twinge of dread in his tone.

A sentient Unversed?

Perhaps this was what the Master of Masters has been sensing. If it was it would only spell nothing but trouble depending on how sentient it was.

He should know better then most, the Organization had been filled with completely sentient Nobodies like himself and were all especially dangerous. Factor in the sentient Heartless Ansem had nearly organized the destruction of a majority of worlds over the course of a decade and they were dealing with an issue with a limitless potential for danger.

The Master had every right to worry.

"I did, it called itself Kier. It looked like a white Flood and it could talk and think for itself. What worried me the most about it was that it could evolve. I nearly finished it off when Vanitas retrieved it. This Kier seems to be one of a kind by the way it talks and Vanitas's reaction." Aqua said, her tone going cold before shaking her head. "There is more to talk about, but we need to free Cinderella first. I believe that Vanitas is going against Lady Tremaine as well."

"I have been thinking the same and that is when he is going to strike again." Roxas said, processing the information of Kier.

This sentient Unversed has been a disturbance in this timeline for quite a while, and now Vanitas had tested it against Aqua.

And given Vanitas left to save Kier from Aqua, it made the Nobody wonder what Vanitas had planned for it. Along with what it has been doing up until this point.

But Aqua was right, freeing Cinderella and preventing Lady Tremaine from whatever she was planning.

The larger Keyblade wielder turned towards Cinderella's door and summoned Oathkeeper to unlock it.

Only to see two of the mice from last night carrying a key up to Cinderella's door.

Until Lucifer slammed a bowl on top of one of them and the key.

"Lucifer let him go!" Cinderella cried out, sounding more composed now as the fat cat let feral grin.

Until it noticed Roxas and Aqua with their Keyblades drawn.

Lucifer let out a loud frightened growl, causing two Red Hot Chilies and two Blue Sea Salts to appear in puffs of darkness. Cinderella let out a yelp as all for of the Unversed glanced at her through the door, before they turned their gaze towards the Keyblade wielders.

They opened fire, causing the two to move out of the way of the spells.

And Aqua to jump out of the way of a Scrapper's claws that had just emerged from behind them.

Lucifer grinned as the Unversed went on the offensive, before yelping in pain as one of the mice grabbed his tail and a few more to charge at the cat.

Roxas parried an ice shard with Oathkeeper as he tried to keep himself steady and to watch his footing.

Given the size of the floor space there wasn't that much room that he could really move without accidentally squishing one of the mice or Aqua. Add in the Unversed firing upon them with spells and the Scrapper with no such concern with squish anyone it was a little tricky to fight them here.

Unless...

The Nobody began to step back into the empty room with Aqua noticing and soon repeating his actions.

Lucifer let out a loud yowl as the Unversed left him to go after the Keyblade wielders, leaving him alone to fend off the mice.

The Scrapper was the first to enter the room and lunged towards Aqua to maul her with it's claws.

Only for it's claws to be blocked and hooked to Oathkeeper's teeth.

The Unversed tried to pull itself back, but Aqua jumped onto the Keyblade and coated herself in a barrier before slamming herself into the Scrapper.

It stumbled back before Roxas landed two hits on his Keyblade and Aqua crashing into it again before jumping back, a fireball forming at the tip of Rainfall.

"Fira!" Aqua casted, launching a fireball that slammed into the Unversed's head, finishing it.

The Red Hot Chilis and the Blue Sea Salts launched their attacks, getting both Keyblade wielders to either parry or block the fireballs for a few moments.

Until Roxas parried an ice shard towards an Red Hot Chili nearby Aqua. She created a few magic platforms and jumped on them, coating herself in electricity. Slamming into and destroying the Unversed.

Roxas parried another shard into a Blue Sea Salt, stunning it. Quickly he rushed forward and felled the Unversed with a few slashes of Oathkeeper.

The last Blue Sea Salt launched an ice shard at the Nobody's back.

Only to be frozen in turn by a Blizzara casted by Aqua. It fell to the floor, the ice shattering and leaving it open for her to finish it off with a lightning bolt.

The Nobody noticed the spell and tried to dodge, only for it to clip his shoulder. The last Ref Hot Chili launched a fireball at him.

He just dodged it and trained Oathkeeper at the Unversed as it charged another fireball.

"Aero!" Roxas casted, launching a blast if air that blasted through the fire ball and crashed into the Unversed. The Red Hot Chili was disoriented before Roxas threw his Keyblade at it, felling it.

The Keyblade continued then returned to Roxas's hand, hitting Lucifer on the head along the way.

As Roxas caught his Keyblade, Aqua trained her Keyblade towards the door and unlocked it.

Cinderella opened the door and widened her eyes to surprise to see Roxas and a small mouse sized woman that she guessed to Aqua after hearing about her from Ven and meeting Terra.

"What are the two of you doing here?" Cinderella said as Lucifer continued to grow in pain as a small flock of birds started to rain dishes down onto his head.

"The two of us are here to help. We saw what happened with Lady Tremaine and your Fairy Godmother snuck us in. We would have been here sooner, but we had to deal with some particularly nasty Unversed first." Aqua said, her tone going bitter at the thought Kier.

"That would explain the noises I heard from the other room. I thought it was a monster Lady Tremaine summoned to keep me locked in " Cinderella said with a shudder.

It had been an unpleasant experience, while she couldn't quite hear what was going on. And considering she was shocked and horrified to see her stepmother had summoned some to patrol around her room. Then all the sudden the noise started and Cinderella grew fearful as the noise persisted for a while, all the time trying to break out of her room.

So she was relieved to know it was taken care of along with the other monsters her mother had summoned.

"I apologise for that, but we need to get you out of here Cinderella. It is no longer safe for you here." Aqua said, surprising her.

"Aqua's right, even without any Unversed Lady Tremaine can control their is more on the way. The Grand Duke is here, this is your chance to get out of here and fulfill your dreams. Your Fairy Godmother knows it and so does me and Aqua. We helped you achieve your dreams last night, so please let us help you again." Roxas said.

Cinderella was nearly at tears.

Once again she was so close to accomplishing her dream...but not at this moment. There was something she needed nto do first.

"Quick, get Bruno." Cinderella said, turning to two of her bird friends, getting them to chirp as they flew out a nearby window. She then turned back to the Keyblade wielders. "I do wish to go, but I need to help my friends."

Both Aqua and Roxas shared a look before nodding in understanding.

"We'll keep the Grand Duke here as long as we can." Aqua said, getting Cinderella to nod.

"Thank you, I will be down soon enough." Cinderella said with a smile before frowning as she went towards her friends. "Lucifer stop this!"

"Do you think that she will be alright?" Roxas asked as he started to walk down the stairs.

"I think she will be right." Aqua said as Cinderella began to pry the cat away from the mice.

Roxas nodded as that as he took a few more steps down before Aqua jumped onto a magic platform and springboarded off of it and onto Roxas's shoulder. She miscalculated how much force she used and nearly slide off his shoulder, until Roxas raised his hand to help support her.

"Thank you." Aqua said as Roxas lowered his hand.

"No problem. Though do you have an idea on how to distract the Grand Duke?" Roxas asked.

"Nothing I can think off, but we only need to make sure the Grand Duke doesn't leave yet. Need to be careful otherwise Lady Tremaine could send more Unversed after Cinderella." Aqua said a little coldly.

"Add in Vanitas is probably going to send one after her, we could expose her infront of the Grand Duke." Roxas suggested, getting Aqua to pause for a brief moment as she thought of the possibility.

If they could do that and have the Grand Duke witness it, that should be more than enough proof to expose Lady Tremaine.

Meaning she could possibly be dealt with within the context of this world without having to act on purging Tremaine's darkness herself.

And given the Unversed Roxas and Terra had fought in the ballroom last night was possibly summoned by Tremaine and not Vanitas...it could possibly work.

"That sounds like a good idea Roxas, but let's focus on getting Cinderella out of here first. Tremaine will probably act out if Cinderella is taken away from her, if we can do this before Vanitas enacts whatever he plans to unleash." Aqua said, getting Roxas to nod.

"I know, hopefully we can do this without before then." Roxas sighed out, getting Aqua to nod before quickly moving out of the way of Bruno running up the stairs, barking all the way.

"I guess they won't have to worry about Lucifer now." Aqua noted as the cats fearful growing resounded in the background.

"Let's just make sure the Grand Duke doesn't leave." Roxas said as he exited the stairway and into the manor's hallways.

Missing Bruno and Cinderella chasing Lucifer out of an open window.

The cat meowed loudly as it fell down to the ground and landed on his feet, clearly shaken.

Only to collapse unconscious as Cinderella dropped the bowl he trapped Gus in on his head.

"I'm sorry Lucifer." Cinderella said, half meaning that as she ran up to her room.

If the Grand Duke was hear, then there was something she needed to grab something. from her room.

It took less than a minute for Roxas and Aqua to make it towards the front of the manor.

Down below near the door was a tired looking Grand Duke and a royal steward addressing Lady Tremaine and her daughters, the steward holding Cinderella's glass slipper.

"Now are you sure there isn't anymore young maidens in the house hold?" The Grand Duke asked tiredly.

He has been up all night and just wanted to get some sleep, but the king would have his head if he didn't search every house in the kingdom for that mysterious woman last night.

And there had been no sign of her at all and there was only a few more houses left the kingdom.

If she wasn't here then the King would have him check every nearby kingdom.

The Grand Duke was sure that his King would have had him searching all over Europe for this mysterious woman if the Prince hadn't talked his father down.

So as much as he wanted to rest right now, it would have to wait until he was done searching the kingdom and onto the next one.

"Of course Your Grace." Lady Tremaine said, her tone concealing a slight bitterness.

The glass slipper couldn't fit on either of her daughters feet.

All her plans for last night had failed, the only good sides were that those strange sword wielders had vanished into the wind like Xehanort had done decades ago, Cinderella was locked up, and Anastasia did manage to have a way into the castle.

So there was still something she could salvage from last night.

"Then I shall be on my way then. Have a good day Madame, ladies." The Grand Duke said curtly before making his way towards the door.

Roxas and Aqua both thought that it was time to make themselves known.

However before they could even do so, the spell finally wore off and Aqua quickly began to grow back to her original size. She quickly jumped off Roxas's should and onto the railing as she shot up to her full size.

Yet she quickly lost her balance from the sudden shift and fell off it.

Roxas grabbed onto the her arm and tried to pull Aqua back up. She planted her feet on the wall and tried to pull herself back up.

Sadly the Keyblade Master had underestimated her strength and pulled the Nobody over the railing, causing the both of them to fall down to the floor below.

Alerting all the occupants in the room to find both Keyblade wielders sprawled out on the ground.

"You alright Aqua?" Roxas groaned out as he picked himself off the floor.

"I'm fine." Aqua groaned out as she got to her feet to see everyone was staring at them.

The Grand Duke looked surprised to see them along with Anastasia. Drizella was just wondering what was going on. Tremaine glared at them coldly, her eyes shining with a barely contained malice.

The Keyblade Master quickly looked between the glass slipper in the Duke's hands and where she sensed Cinderella to be as an idea came to mind.

"Wait, would it be alright if I tried on the glass slipper?" Aqua asked.

The Grand Duke pondered this for a moment, before shaking his head.

"I met you at the palace last night young lady. Unfortunately, you are not the one the Prince is looking for." The Grand Duke stated.

"But weren't you looking for a young maiden in this manor, there is one right here." Roxas said, catching onto what Aqua had planned.

"He's right, shouldn't I at least be given a chance to as well?" Aqua asked.

As the Duke pondered this, Tremaine stepped towards the two Keyblade wielders. Her heart darkening considerably.

"Who are the two of you and what are you doing in my house." She said coldly, surprising her daughters with her tone. Never hearing this tone from her.

Tremaine at least knew what the boy could do, and figured what young woman was capable of as well.

So if they made it this far into her manor...then what happened to the monsters that she had guarding the manor or making sure Cinderella didn't escape?

If she was freed it would ruin everything and with the Grand Duke here she couldn't do anything about it without calling attention to herself!

"P-Perhaps that woman is here to rob us!" Drizella declared, deciding to follow after her mother's lead. "That boy did save Anastasia last night and I am thankful, but he shouldn't be here. Mother, do something!"

Anastasia didn't say anything, as she was unsure on what to do, hough she was touched her younger sister did seem to have some care for her.

Unlike her mother.

Tremaine remained silent for a minute, silently critiquing Drizella for her poor attempt of support before facing the Grand Duke.

"This girl does not live here and the young man is trespassing. Besides I only have two daughters I believe that we are finished here Your Grace." Tremaine said coldly, wishing to finish this argument.

"Regardless, she means no harm. Along with the young man having been a big help against the monsters." The Grand Duke said. "Though I do wonder why the two of you would be in here."

"Simple, there was a number of Unversed in the manor that we got rid of. We have just gotten rid of all that we could find." Roxas said truthfully, surprising the Grand Duke and getting Tremaine to stiffen in shock.

If what he said was true, than they must have freed Cinderella. And she still couldn't do anything about it!

"I see that is good to hear." The Grand Duke sighed out, noticing Lady Tremaine's reaction out of the corner of his eye.

She was hiding something judging by the news of the young man dispatching monsters in her manor. While his main focus was to search for the unknown woman from the ball, he would be sure to inquire to the king about looking into Lady Tremaine.

"Now then my dear, shall we?" He said, gesturing to a nearby chair.

"Of course." Aqua said with a nod, internally wishing for Cinderella to hurry up.

Not even two steps later, the Keyblade Master got her wish.

"Your Grace, please wait. May I try it on?" Cinderella asked from the top of the stairs, getting Roxas and Aqua to smile while everyone else was surprised to see her.

As the Grand Duke moved along the stairway to get a better look, Tremaine got in front of the man and proceeded to block his way.

"Ignore her. She is nothing but an imaginative girl and a scullery maid." Tremaine said, hoping to dissuade the man.

"And your stepdaughter." Roxas said, both him and Aqua enjoying the look of horror on Tremaine's face while the Grand Duke just frowned.

So that is what was going on.

While not exactly illegal, such a situation is immoral and sadly something he has had to dispute more times than not during his tenure as Grand Duke. Especially tonight.

"If so then Madame you have lied to me and tried to impede on a order from the king himself. Besides my orders were to try the slipper on every maiden in the house." The Grand Duke said walking past the shocked woman.

"Allow Cinderella to go first." Aqua stated as she and Roxas walked past Tremaine, the woman giving the later a hate filled glare.

Cinderella walked down the stairs as the Duke presented a chair for her. As the Princess of Heart sat down in the chair, both Keyblade wielders stood guard beside her in case her stepmother tried anything.

"Thank you." Cinderella said to them.

"It's no problem." Roxas said simply.

"Besides I should be thanking you for Terra. Helping you seems to have helped him with some turmoil he has been experiencing lately, so thank you." Aqua said, getting Cinderella to wonder what she meant by that as the Duke approached with the slipper.

Only for Tremaine to trip the Duke, getting him to drop to drop the slipper to the ground and shatter. Stunning everyone in the room.

"No, no, no, no!" The Grand Duke cried out as he got to his knees and tried to gather the shards together in a futile effort. "What am I going to do! When the King hears about this he will have my head!"

Upon that last declaration Tremaine smiled, one Anastasia had seen her mother give whenever she or her sister had tormented Cinderella over the years.

Whether she took enjoyment in the prospect in the Duke's, Cinderella's, or the both of them suffering Anastasia wasn't sure that she wanted to know.

But there was a question nagging on her mind.

If there was two glass slippers and her mother destroyed one of them, where was the other?

"Wait Your Grace." Cinderella said reaching behind her to reveal the other glass slipper. "Would this suffice?"

"No." Tremaine said in shock as the realization set in while the Grand Duke kept for joy and began to repeatedly kiss it. All the while giving Cinderella's stepmother a dirty look.

His head was saved and he had completed his task!

And he had saw what Tremaine had done, the King was going to have some rather choice words over this.

Anastasia sighed at seeing Drizella looking at Cinderella in shock. She should be upset, which she was.

Cinderella was going to be with the Prince, something that should have rightfully be her's.

But she couldn't help but feel a little happy for her, and she didn't know why.

As Cinderella was fitted with the glass slipper by the Grand Duke, Anastasia figured that she will give her stepsister a piece of her mind in a little bit.

Besides it would be for the best to stay on the Duke's good side as the look he had given her mother told her that breaking the slipper wouldn't end for her.

Though she did wonder where all what chirping and squeaking noise suddenly come from.

"Now my Lady we must head to the palace immediately as per the King's orders. And would the you mind accompanying us to the castle." The Grand Duke asked, getting both Keyblade wielders to nod.

"Of course, we were planning on going with you anyway incase of the Unversed." Aqua said.

While both she and Roxas were happy for Cinderella, they were also on guard on noticing Lady Tremaine's expression of shock into a cold fury directed at them and Cinderella.

With the fact that the darkness in her heart was flaring up, that she had control over a number of Unversed, and whatever Vanitas had planned it could occur at any moment now.

"That is good to hear." The Duke said before facing Lady Tremaine. "I will send for a carriage as soon as we reach the castle. The King would like to congratulate your eldest daughter for her actions last night. As for you Madame, you were not the first one to preform a similar action with your stepdaughter tonight. However you will be the only one who will have to face his displeasure face to face. Along with breaking the slipper, I am sure the king will have some words for you personally. So for now I bide you adieux, Madame." The Grand Duke said as he began to lead Cinderella and the steward out if the house. With Aqua and Roxas following behind them.

Anastasia and Cinderella shared a brief look together before the later was escorted out of the door.

"Mother what are we going to do?" She asked Tremaine, her feelings conflicted on the whole issue.

"It just isn't fair, she's a scullery maid! We can't just let here leave!" Drizella said.

Tremaine laid silent for a few moments as she weather in anger.

Never in her life had she felt so slighted and humiliated. Not since her rejection all those years ago.

And now her life had been messed up by someone using a key like sword once again.

If that woman didn't distract the Duke and that brat kept his mouth shut Cinderella would still be her's and wouldn't have to face the King's wrath.

Tremaine was about to summon her monsters to get vengeance, when darkness began to pour out of her skin and her daughters took a step back in shock.

While Tremaine was pondering what was going on herself, she felt connected to something.

It seemed that her wish last night had been granted, for she felt herself connected to another powerful monster, one that she could control.

Along with being connected the each and everyone of her remaining monsters.

Before they obeyed her every word, but now they could obey her every thought. Never before had she felt power like this.

And she knew exactly what she was going to do with it.

Focusing on her army, she felt two Unversed that had survived and had failed her task to guard Cinderella and had ordered them and the powerful one to attack.

"Mother, are you alright?" Anastasia asked her mother wearily.

"I have never felt better my dear, I just know how to remind Cinderella of her place." Lady Tremaine said with a smirk, calling on the rest of her army as she walked towards the door.

The first wave would just be a punishment for the monsters that failed, the second wave would be the real attack.

She would punish Cinderella and then get ride of those sword wielders.

And after that...perhaps it was time for a change of leadership for this Kingdom.

"She fell for it hook, line, and sinker." Vanitas said from a top his newest Unversed.

A warped, monsterous version of Cinderella's carriage. With the coloration of an actual pumpkin with a fanged maw, glowing red eyes, an Unversed emblem, and two vine like arms.

"Proceed as planned, I'm going into place." Vanitas said as he summoned his book and jumped through a Corridor of Darkness.

The large Unversed only created a pair of pumpkin bombs and tossed them towards Cinderella and the Keyblade wielders.

They were halfway through the manor's courtyard when Roxas heard a sound.

One that he had grown accustomed to through his mission in Halloween Town.

"Everyone get close to me." Roxas called out, summoning Destiny Rewritten. "Reflect!"

The spell formed a barrier over them while Aqua summoned Rainfall as a pair of pumpkin bombs exploded off the barrier, cracking it.

"What's going on?" The Grand Duke asked, his tone filled with panic.

"An Unversed, a strong one at that." Aqua stated as Roxas spell ended.

Only for her to summon a barrier to block two fireballs from a pair of Red Hot Chilis that appeared at the front door.

"More of these monsters." The Grand Duke cried out as another pumpkin bombs sailed towards the group and towards Cinderella.

Only for Roxas to train his Keyblade towards the bomb with mist forming at the tip.

"Blizzard!" Roxas casted, an ice shard launching at the bomb.

As soon as it made contact with it, the bomb froze and shattered into nothingness.

"Aqua I'll handle the bombs, can you deal with the Unversed." Roxas said, mist forming at the end of Destiny Rewritten.

"No problem." She said as lightning generated from the tip of Rainfall.

"The three of you get behind me." Roxas said as another pair of bombs sailed towards them.

"Alright." Cinderella said as she proceeded to do so.

"You do not need to inform me twice." The Grand Duke said as he and the steward crowded close to the Nobody.

"Blizzard/Thunder!" Roxas and Aqua casted at the same time, their spells landing on their intended target.

As Roxas proceeded to blast the bombs with Blizzard, Aqua rushed forward to the stunned Unversed in order to finish it off.

Yet had to jump back as the other one blasted a fire ball at he before the both of them started to open fire on her.

The Keyblade Master cartwheeled away from them before training Rainfall at them.

"Triple Blizzaga!" Aqua casted, launched three ice shards at the Unversed.

One of the Red Hot Chilis managed to dodge them, but the other one was bombarded by two of the shards.

It found itself frozen before crashing and shattering into the ground.

With Roxas he was continuing to blast away at the bombs, freezing them before any could land.

Until he saw over a dozen bombs being thrown at them, getting the Grand Duke to panic.

"You have got to be kidding me, Blizzaga! Reflect!" Roxas casted, creating an ice mine and launching it into the air before creating another barrier around them.

The ice mine detonated, freezing about half of the bombs. But the rest continued to fall down and blew up one by one on the barrier, which Roxas had to struggle to maintain.

As he was doing that Aqua weaved past another fireball and rushed towards the remaining Red Hot Chili.

"Stun Edge!" Aqua shouted as she swung her Keyblade, stunning the Unversed and launching it into the air.

Before finishing it off with silent Blizzard spell.

Aqua looked back to see that the last bomb went off and let off a sigh of relief before steeling herself.

"Everyone back into the manor, it would be safer there then out here with the Unversed." Aqua ordered, getting the Grand Duke to nod as he lead the steward and Cinderella back that way.

"None of you will be taking a step inside my home." Tremaine said with a grin as she stepped outside of her manor followed by her daughters. Anastasia looking conflicted while Drizella less so.

At her words Roxas and Aqua found themselves surrounded by a small swarm of Unversed.

Over six Floods, two Hareraisers, a pair of Scrappers, three Bruisers, and a Blue Sea Salt.

Quiet a troublesome group of Unversed to deal with at once.

But the crown jewel of her collection rolled up, getting Cinderella to gasp in shock and Roxas to stiffen to see a corrupted version of Cinderella's carriage to roll up, a pair of pumpkin bombs at the ready.

"Madame what is the meaning of this!" The Grand Duke demanded as the Unversed drew closer to the group.

"Simple Your Grace, punishing Cinderella and those trespassers. You and your steward are free to leave. If not I can not guaranteed what will happen to you." Tremaine said coldly, both her daughters looking at her in concern.

She was actively threatening the Grand Duke, something in which will end badly for them when the King hears about this.

"I believe not Madame, I am under the King's orders to bring the young lady back to the castle. So I am not going to just abandon her. Either call off the monsters or you will face the King's judgement." The Duke said firmly, albeit with some fear in his tone.

"I see then. Then punish them all, show them what happens to those that defy me." Lady Tremaine said, getting both of her daughters to try and stop her.

The large Unversed threw up it's pumpkin bombs. Roxas and Aqua trained their Keyblades on the bombs.

Only for them to vanish in a puff of darkness.

"What?" Tremaine said as she and her daughters began to look for the bombs.

Only for Cinderella to notice the bombs falling over her sisters.

"Anastasia, Drizella look out!" Cinderella cried out as they looked up to to see the bombs nearly detonate.

Anastasia quickly braced her younger sister as Tremaine proceed to move away from her daughters.

"Reflect!" Roxas casted, surrounding the three of them in barrier as the bombs exploded.

The spell was blocked by smoke and the sounds of screaming ensured for a few moments before the smoke dispelled.

To reveal Vanitas in the barrier, sending Tremaine down a Corridor of Darkness. A trio of Floods cornering her daughters.

"Vanitas, so this is what you had planned." Aqua said coldly, wishing to blast him where he stood.

However with him in the barrier and using Tremaine's daughters as hostages meant that she had no chance at the moment.

"And thank you both for playing your part. I am going to punish Tremaine, but don't worry I will return her after you beat the Cursed Coach she foolishly thought that she could control, though not in one piece." Vanitas said simply before he fell through the Corridor as the Floods followed after him as the barrier fell.

And the Unversed attacked, the Cursed Coach began to throw bombs at the group with the Blue Sea Salt and the Hareraisers launching ice shards and lasers, forcing Roxas and Aqua to block the attacks with her and Destiny Rewritten's barrier.

"Everyone inside now." Roxas said as a bomb burst off of his Keyblades barrier, which he noticed wound break sooner or later.

"Inside ladies, quickly." The Grand Duke said as he opened the manor's doors and lead the steward inside as Anastasia and Cinderella dragged a struggling Drizella.

"Let me go!" Drizella said as she struggled to push Cinderella off of her, but her older sister prevented doing so.

"You will thank me later Drizella, I feel the same way but there is nothing we can do now." Anastasia says bitterly, not knowing if that masked figure said was true. But it was pointless if she never saw her mother again if they were all dead.

Cinderella was looking at her stepsisters in concern, understanding what it was like to be uncertain if your mother was going to die or not. Wishing for someway to help them.

As they entered the house, the Grand Duke closed the door and the Keyblades braced themselves for another attack.

Only for their surprise the lesser Unversed pulled around the Cursed Coach. It's skin turned white and a glittering light covered it and spread around the Unversed.

"This is going to be more difficult than we thought." Roxas said with a sigh, recognizing it as the Unversed spreading a barrier to the rest of it's swarm.

He has seen Heartless do something similar, but it was just in target not multiple ones. So this is going to be a pain to deal with.

"Either way, let's finish this Roxas." Aqua said getting into her stance.

"Agreed." Roxas said, copying her actions.

The Cursed Coach threw another bomb and both Keyblade wielders kept into battle.

Tremaine picked herself off the ground to see the masked man that appeared in the barrier sitting on a tree stump writing in a book.

And a small monster that she could clearly feel under her control.

"Attack him." Tremaine ordered, getting the Flood to nod before rushing towards Vanitas.

"Stop! Silence!" Vanitas casted without even looking from his book, summoning his Keyblade in one hand and blasting both the Unversed and Tremaine with spells.

The Floor was frozen in mid air and Tremaine was blasted with the second spell...yet nothing happened.

However when she tried to speak inorder to make her displeasure known, she couldn't utter a single word.

"A handy little spell, you won't be speaking a word even once it is lifted. In fact you will not be able to move a muscle until I will it otherwise." Vanitas said as a pair of Floods crawled up his shoulders.

Tremaine tried to move inorder to call his bluff, only to find she couldn't move at all.

The ancient Keyblade wielder dispelled Void Gear and with his free hand made gestures similar to a puppeteer.

And to her horror she found herself moving as if similar to a marionette, her body moving against her will.

"I stopped forging connectionsto the Unversed with other people after seeing the effects. So while they are useful to the hoard as a whole and effective servants towards me, and I have total control comparable to the Unversed the connection could be broken if strong their will is strong enough and and they suffer a potentially fatal drawback along with becoming broken once the connection is severed. But for you, I am making an exception." Vanitas said as he stood up and steadied his hand.

Tremaine went limp yet still standing as Vanitas handed one of the Floods a piece of parchment.

"Give this to Roxas once they are done with the Unversed, after that we are done in this world." He said, the Flood nodded and ran off.

Tremaine tried using her connection to the Unversed to call them back to deal with this interloper, only to find they wouldn't respond.

"I wouldn't bother, I can hear your every thought. Besides it is pointless, the Unversed came from me so my control supersedes yours any day." Vanitas said as he walked past the frozen Unversed and created icicle in his hand. "Just as painful as this will be."

With that he stabbed the icicle into the Flood's back, destroying it

Along with causing Tremaine to scream internally as she felt a stabbing pain erupting in her back.

"You feel that, that is the curse of controlling the Unversed. I experience it every time an Unversed is killed and I have learned to live with it. But you...well should figure it out by now. You might life you, might not. Either way you are going to suffer. Not just by Roxas's and Aqua's hand but my own." Vanitas said as he turned around and began to walk back to the tree stump.

With a plume of darkness emerging from his back to form a pair of Red Hot Chilis and a Flood.

"So you were planning on capturing Cinderella with your swarm and using them to mutilate her feet so she wouldn't run away and burn her so the Prince would be repulsed. Tremaine I have to give you credit, you are a wicked woman. So suffer."

Tremaine could only stare in horror as the Unversed approached her inorder to attack.

"You were always fated to lose Tremaine, at least now Cinderella could gain some justice from this. Besides it isn't wise for someone to mess with forces beyond their station unless they are fated to do so." Vanitas said as he sat back down. "I hope you do learn this lesson, but if not...well the worlds will be better off without another monster like ourselves."

With that the Unversed attacked Tremaine, who could do nothing but stare in in horror.

Aqua casted a silent Blizzard that froze the bomb and shattered it as the two of them found themselves surrounded by the Unversed.

Roxas's Keyblade glowed with a violent aura as Aqua braced herself as she was surround by Unversed.

"Seeker Mine!" Aqua casted, creating four magic mines.

The mines launched themselves at the swarm of Unversed as Roxas unleash the stores energy.

The mines detonated and the arc of energy crashed against a Bruiser, however the shields dispelled the attacks along with the shields themselves.

One of the Hareraisers launched itself towards Roxas, only for an it to be felled be a silent fireball from Aqua.

The Cursed Coach let out a roar as it's color returned to normal, getting both Keyblade wielders to train their Keyblades at it.

"Fira/Thundaga Shot!" Roxas and Aqua casted, launching their spells that pushed the large Unversed back. It let a loud roar as it and the rest of the swarm's shield reappeared as it wheeled away.

"Roxas can you draw in some of there Unversed?" Aqua said as lightning sparked off of the tip of her Keyblade, charging a Shotlock.

"Already on it, Aeroga!" Roxas casted, creating a great whirlwind around himself that began to pull in some of the Unversed.

Picking up a pair of Floods and the last Hareraiser before he began to approach the rest of the swarm, training Destiny Rewritten at them.

"Aero!" Roxas casted, launching a burst of air that traveled through the whirlwind and slammed into a Scrapper and shattering it's shield.

The Nobody launched several bursts of air as the swarm clipping a few of them and dragging in another Flood into the whirlwind.

The Cursed Coach threw a pumpkin bombs that forced Roxas to raise his Keyblades shield to block as it entered into the whirlwind.

It detonated right infront of Roxas, which he managed to his Keyblade's barrier.

Only to falter when a Flood leapt out of the whirlwind and struck him in the back.

His concentration broke and the whirlwind ended, dropping the Unversed. Just as Aqua had finally charged her Shotlock to the max.

"Thunderstorm!" Aqua casted, launch salvo after salvo of lightning bolts at the swarm.

The Shotlock blasted apart the swarm, destroying the Floods and the Hareraiser Roxas had caught up in his spell and clipping the barrier off a good portion of the Unversed. Though the Cursed Coach took the brunt of the attack as it's barrier fell.

Meanwhile Roxas released the stored energy from his Keyblade, cutting into a Bruiser before an attack from Aqua's attack had slammed inti it's head. One more swing from Roxas and it was done for.

The Cursed Coach let out a loud roar as it used it's vines to jump back from a few bolts if lightning from Aqua, launching a pair of bombs at the two Keyblade wielders.

The both of them and the Unversed backed off as the bombs went off, creating a smoke screen.

A roar emerged from within along with a flickering glow as the shields were raised once again. The pumpkin like Unversed jumped towards Aqua, creating a shockwave that the Keyblade Master blocked with her barrier.

It wailed on her with it's vine like arms for a moment or two before wheeling towards Roxas and tried the same thing, getting the Nobody to jump back. And to be smacked by another strike of the Cursed Coach and into the swarm of Unversed.

He flew into the swarm and was struck in the gut by a Bruiser. Roxas regained his composure and backed away from another blow and an ice shard launched from the Blue Sea Salt.

It launch another, but was quickly battered away into a Flood by Roxas's Keyblade. As it's barrier fell he deflected another shard into the Flood, destroying it.

The barrier around the Cursed Coach fell as it wheeled towards Aqua, spinning around in an attempt to batter her with it's arms.

Only for her to cartwheel out of the way and train her Keyblade at it.

"Slow! Bind!" Aqua casted out, both spells hitting the large Unversed and slowing it's movements entirely before paralysing it.

"Firaga!" Aqua casted again, launching a large fireball before rushing off after it.

The fireball crashed into the Cursed Coach and pushed it back before Aqua covered herself in a barrier and slammed straight into it.

It crashed to the ground as Aqua jumped off of it and landed right next to Roxas.

"You alright Roxas?" Aqua asked, blocking a Scrapper's attack with Rainfall.

"A little more exhausted then I first thought, but I am alright." Roxas said, parrying an ice shard into the Scrapper's head and dispelling it's barrier.

"Then let us finish this quickly." Aqua said, blasting the Unversed point blank with a fireball before smashing her Keyblade into it's head, defeating it.

Roxas nodded as lightning began to spark on the tip of his Keyblade.

The Cursed Coach let out a loud roar as it's barrier reappeared as it and the rest of the Unversed charged the Keyblade wielders.

However they were both quite ready for that.

"Seeker Mines!" "Thundara!" Aqua and Roxas casted, the mines rushing towards the swarm and detonating. Destroying the barrier on some of them before the lightning bolts struck them. Shattering the rest of the barriers and taking out the last of the Floods.

Aqua began to charge a Shotlock at the end of her Keyblade as the Cursed Coach threw a pair of pumpkin bombs at them.

"Reflect!" Roxas casted, creating a barrier that protected them from the blast. He deactivated the spell and blocked an attack from Bruiser with Destiny Rewritten.

The Cursed Coach raised the barriers for the swarm once again, but it proved too late.

"Bubble Blaster!" Aqua casted as she unleashed her Shotlock and battered the Unversed with bubbles.

It dispelled the barriers and soaked them in water before Roxas trained his Keyblade towards them.

"Blizzaga!" Roxas casted, launching an ice mine that soon detonated. Covering the Unversed in a thick layer of frost. The rest of the Unversed shattering into ice and puffs of darkness as they had been defeated.

The Cursed Coach looked panicked as it's barrier fizzled out, getting both Aqua and Roxas to rush forward.

The large Unversed wheeled towards the two and spun around in an attempt to strike the two Keyblade wielders. Both of them dodged it's attack and once it stopped spinning trained their Keyblades at it.

"Water!" "Triple Blizzaga!" Both Roxas and Aqua casted.

The steam of water slammed into it and doused the Cursed Coach before three ice shards slammed into it, freezing three if it's legs in place.

Roxas rushed towards it, his Keyblade surrounded in a violet aura and doubling it's length

The Cursed Coach noticed this and threw a pumpkin bombs at him inorder to blast the Nobody away.

However Aqua was not going to let that happen.

"Blizzard! Fira!" Aqua casted, freezing the bomb and launching a fireball that slammed into it's eyes.

The Unversed roared in pain, which only got increased when Roxas began to hack away at it.

Aqua coated herself in a barrier and rushed forward, slamming into the Unversed as the aura Destiny Rewritten faded.

She slammed herself into the Cursed Coach two more times before it slammed one of it's vines into her barrier and managed to push her away.

"Fira!" Roxas casted.

Only to get a fireball to it's face.

Giving the Keyblade wielders enough time to go on the offensive.

For the next few moments both Aqua and Roxas gave the Unversed no quarter. The both of them attacking it with their Keyblades, the occasional fireball, and Aqua slamming into it with her barriers. All the while the Cursed Coach could only flail about in an attempt to get free, trying to attack them with it's vines.

It was not created to last against this kind of punishment and the Unversed could tell that it wouldn't last long if this continued.

A moment later it felt the ice around it's wheels break and wheeled away from the Keyblade wielders.

Before they could even react, it jumped up into the air and launched a few bombs.

"Reflect!" Roxas casted, creating a barrier around himself while Aqua doing the same, waiting out the barrage that ended soon after.

But not before the Unversed threw four orange seed-like objects around them.

As it landed onto the ground the seed sprouted to reveal four plant like Unversed with a black head with a pink flower on top, thorny vine like arms, and red eyes set in a sorrowful expression.

The Cursed Coach's barrier rose back up and soon it spread to the smaller Unversed.

They soon buried themselves into the ground to the apprehension of the two Keyblade wielders.

Before the Cursed Coach opened it's maw and began to suck in everything that was infront of it.

Especially Roxas and Aqua.

The both of them dug their Keyblades into the ground in an effort not to be drawn into the Unversed's vaccum.

And given it was impossible to damage with it's shield up, the Nobody knew just how to bypass it.

Roxas spotted the closest Unversed and trained his hand towards it.

"Blizzard!" Roxas casted, putting a lot more strength into the spell to prevent the Cursed Coach from sucking it up. The ice shard struck the plant like Unversed and dislodged it from the ground.

And it was quickly vaporized by a lightning bolt from Aqua.

The Cursed Coach's barrier fell and Aqua removed Rainfall from the ground as it's tip lit aflame.

"Fission Firaga!" She casted, launching a large fireball that exploded on impact and split into a ring of smaller fireballs that impacted the large Unversed once again.

The Cursed Coach stopped it's suction as it's now charred form began to wheel away from them while the smaller Unversed removed themselves from the ground and began to spin over to them.

"I'll handle them." Roxas said, brandish his Keyblade towards them and getting Aqua to nod before taking off after the Cursed Coach.

Figuring that it was for the best incase it tried another powerful attack like before.

Something Roxas had learned the hard way against the Internal Engine.

The Cursed Coach restored it's barrier just as Aqua got close enough. It began to flail around in an attempt to hit her, only for Aqua to gracefully move around or use her barrier to block it's attacks.

With Roxas he observed was that these smaller Unversed were behaving similarly to how Sora remembered Bit Snipers to have acted, except with spinning.

Weak while alone, but being quite fast and a nuisance in a group.

He had almost landed a few hits and the Unversed had done the same thing, with each adversary being too quick for the other one.

Until Roxas saw his chance.

"Aero!" He casted, launching a burst of air towards where two of the Unversed were.

The spell landed at the ground and blew the Unversed away from each other and disrupt both of their shields.

One of them quickly split away from each other. The other one was quickly burnt to a crisp by a well placed fireball from Roxas.

The shield around the Cursed Coach fell and Aqua took the chance.

"Thundaga Shot!" She casted, blasting it's eyes with a burst of lightning.

Getting the Unversed to roar out in pain as it covered it's eyes and began to wheel away from the Keyblade Master.

"Triple Firaga!" Aqua casted, launching a wave of fireballs that impacted the large Unversed.

Which quickly retaliated by throwing a pair of pumpkin bombs at Aqua, who raised her barrier to block them.

Back with Roxas he kept dodging the smaller Unversed a few more time before he saw an opportunity to get rid of them.

"Thunder!" He casted, a trail of lightning bolts rained down right in front of him.

Clipping both of the Unversed and turning one of them to ashes. While the last one's shield dropped and was stunned.

Making it an easy target as Roxas slammed Destiny Rewritten right in top of it, felling the Unversed.

With them taken care of he turned his attention to the Cursed Coach and Aqua and rushed over towards them.

It threw another bomb at Aqua, this time aiming for the ground around her barrier.

Detonating and creating a dust cloud that obscured her vision that cleared away a moment later.

To reveal the Cursed Coach had disappeared.

She dropped her barrier and began to look around, ready to blast it once again.

Only for it to blindsided by swinging it's vines into her and sending Aqua up into the air.

And leaving itself open.

"Thundaga!" Roxas casted, causing a massive lightning bolt to crash into it and giving Aqua enough time to recover.

"Payback Surge!" Aqua casted as she coated herself with a barrier and slammed into the Unversed. Pushing it back a few feet and jumping back towards Roxas.

The Cursed Coach struggled to regain it's senses to see both Keyblade wielders rushing towards it. It quickly jumped into the air and began to throwing more pumpkin bombs then either had seen before.

Enough for them to realise that it was going to carpet bomb them.

"Reflect!" Roxas casted in a hurry, covering them in a domed barrier before he and Aqua summoned their respective barriers in order to weather out the resulting attack.

The bombs began to detonate en mass, forcing Roxas to use more and more of his magic as the main barrier struggled to protect against the assault.

It held up for what felt like over a minute as the bombs continued to detonate all around them.

Until it eventually shattered and Roxas was forced hide behind his Keyblade's barrier, struggling against the searing heat.

Thankfully it only continued for a few more moments before the bombing stopped and the clearly exhausted Unversed crashed into the ground. Roxas panted as he disabled his barrier and leaned against his Keyblade as he saw the surrounding area in burnt and cratered all around himself and Aqua.

Soon he found himself glowing with a green aura that he was all to familiar with as he saw Aqua lower her barrier.

"Thank you." Roxas said, getting the Keyblade Master to nod.

"No problem, but are you alright? You look like that you are about to collapse." Aqua said, noting how exhausted he looked.

"Kind of feels like it and I'm almost out of magic. But I am still more then ready enough to finish this." Roxas said, brandishing Destiny Rewritten towards the Cursed Coach, surrounded in it's violet aura.

Aqua gave him a concerned look before steeling herself and brandishing Rainfall towards the large Unversed. The tip of her Keyblade crackling with electricity.

The Cursed Coach decided throw two more seeds that sprouted into Unversed as it tried to wheel away as it's shields were raised.

"Thunderstorm!" Aqua casted, unleashing her Shotlock and launching a salvo of lightning bolts that ripped through the shields and destroyed one of the smaller Unversed while the rest battered the Cursed Coach.

Roxas discharged the stored energy with a swing of his Keyblades, cleaving the smaller Unversed in half. The attack continued on until it collided with the Cursed Coach.

It roared out in pain before opening it's maw to suck the Keyblade wielders in it's maw.

With how close they were to it they were easily caught up in it's pull.

However the both of them were ready for it this time.

Roxas trained his Keyblade towards the Cursed Coach, focusing what little remained of his magic into one last spell.

"Blizzara!" Roxas casted, creating a large ice crystal that was sucked up by the vacuum and vanish into the Unversed's maw.

The spell detonated and the Cursed Coach collapsed onto the ground, struggling to get up and it's mouth frozen shut.

Leaving wide open to attack as Aqua covered herself in a barrier and slammed into it, before rushing forward with Rainfall drawn back.

"Wishing Edge!" Aqua cried out, swinging her Keyblade as she jumped into the air. Gracefully cutting into the Unversed's face and it's left eye before pushing herself off of it.

The Unversed let out a low muffled roar before collapsing onto the ground, fading away into a puff of darkness.

Both Keyblade wielders let out a sigh of relief as Roxas leaned against his Keyblade.

"Sooner then I expected, such a shame too. I am almost done with this. I suppose I will finish this in Enchanted Domain." Vanitas said, closing the book and calling off the Unversed from Lady Tremaine.

As the approached him, Vanitas handed a Flood a rolled up piece of parchment.

"Hand this off to Roxas and then dispel yourself, we are done on this world." Vanitas said, getting the Flood to nod in response.

The ancient Keyblade wielder opened a Corridor of Darkness beneath Lady

Tremaine, causing her body to fall through with the Flood jumping in after it before the Corridor closed.

"Well then, our business here is done." Vanitas said, dispelling every other Unversed in the world before opening another Corridor.

Best to check up on Kier and prepare everything for Roxas's and Aqua's arrival in the next world.

The old coot had played his part in Enchanted Domain and had gotten what he want, now it was his turn to do so.

Roxas barely anytime to relax before a Corridor of Darkness opened right next to him.

He and Aqua braced themselves for whatever was going to emerge.

Only for Lady Tremaine's body to be dumped on the ground and a Flood with a rolled up piece of parchment.

It approached the two Keyblade wielders, presenting the parchment to them. Aqua quickly took it and tried to blast it with a fireball

Only for the Flood to vanish in puff of darkness before the spell landed.

Aqua let out a sigh before opening up the parchment for her and Roxas to read.

If you are reading this, then I kept my word and I have returned Tremaine. Can't promise in what condition though.

And as a show of good faith I will also remove the Unversed from this world, there is nothing left here for us anyway.

But that is the extent of my compassion.

For Aqua, I am going to make you pay for what you did to me and nearly killing Kier.

For Roxas, I will be waiting for you in Enchanted Domain for one final test. There will be no escaping me, considering the mess that Terra left behind on that world.

I will settle my grievances with you two there. Better not keep me waiting.

- Vanitas.

A orange rune appeared on the paper and began to glow as Aqua tossed it away.

"Terra, what did you do?" Aqua said to herself as she tightened her grip on Rainfall. Light starting to flicker off of her.

She couldn't help but feel concerned for him. Considering what happened according to him and Roxas at Dwarf Woodlands, it gave the Keyblade Master a sense of dread on what he could have done.

Add in that Vanitas was clearly stating that he was waiting for them in the next world, made her wonder if he was behind what happened in that world as well.

If so...then she would personally bring Vanitas to within an inch of his life before delivering him to Master and purging Kier as well.

If it wasn't for his orders, she would have made sure to eradicated Vanitas inorder to stop his transgressions against the worlds and those she held dear.

Aqua took a deep breath to calm herself and the light around her faded.

She can save those thoughts for later, when they get to Enchanted Domain. For now, they needed to finish up here first incase Vanitas left any other surprises to deal with.

"Mother!" A pair of voices ran out from the manor, getting the pair of Keyblade wielders to see Lady Tremaine daughters rushing out of the manor along with Cinderella, the Grand Duke, and the steward.

All looking in horror at Lady Tremaine's condition, which both Aqua and Roxas finally noticed. Her condition shocking them.

She was pale and her dress was torn off at the sleeves and skirt at knee length, the rest of it was covered with a few blood stains. Her arms and legs were covered with deep gashes and burns, her feet bent at angles that were not normal for humans. The worst of it was on her face, a massive gash going over her left eye.

She was still breathing, but with her condition it was hard to tell if she would make it

Anastasia and Drizella surrounded their mother teary eyed, before pulling back as Tremaine started to glow green.

"That should stop the bleeding and stop her from going into shock for now, but she needs to get medical attention now." Aqua said with a sigh, the glow at the end of her Keyblade and Lady Tremaine fading.

The Keyblade Master only healed her briefly. As much as Aqua despised healing the vile woman, whatever Vanitas did was too far.

Whatever happens to her now would deal with how badly Vanitas injured her and whatever the king decides.

Considering Tremaine revealed her ability to control the Unversed to the Grand Duke with the intent to attack, Aqua was pretty sure that she would be dealt with severely.

Which was good enough for her.

"Quickly bring the carriage around now, before any other monster shows up." The Grand Duke ordered the steward, who ran off to get the carriage as Cinderella went to comfort her grieving stepsisters.

Roxas just stayed silent the whole time, Vanitas's latest declaration still on his mind.

The ancient Keyblade wielder was lying in wait in the last world of this cluster, with everything up to now was just testing him..

Even after what he had seen Vanitas had done here and in Radiant Garden, the Nobody was no closer to discerning what his true motives was other than push him to his limits fighting the Unversed.

And with the letter implying that Enchanted Domain was in disarray, Roxas now knew how Sora felt during his first trip to Hollow Bastion.

He could only hope that whatever lied on that world wasn't as bad for him.

But for now, there was only one thing left to do.

It had been several hours since Aqua and Roxas had defeated the Cursed Coach. It had been a mainly quite ride to the castle, with the two Keyblade wielders keeping watch.

Minus Tremaine's daughter crying over her body while Cinderella trying her best to comforting them. It seemed to be working with Anastasia, but Drizella kept pushing her away.

It didn't take them long too reach the castle and for the Grand Duke to get Lady Tremaine medical attention before heading inside with her daughters and Cinderella.

The two of them then took off on Aqua's Keyblade glider to patrol the kingdom from the air. Checking to see if Vanitas did keep his word.

And he did, there was no trace of the Unversed left. They couldn't pick up even the barest traces of their negativity in the kingdom.

So after a few hours of flying around and making sure that there was nothing else here before making it back to the castle. With Aqua insisting on suggesting to the king to be prepared incase Vanitas decided to go back on his word.

"So you are telling me their might be a chance these monsters might return?" The King questioned tiredly.

Currently he was sitting on his throne, with the Grande Duke to his right and both Aqua and Roxas right infront of him.

He was in a good mood earlier.

The mysterious woman from the ball had been found.

And she was quite beautiful, and if what he saw of her earlier was she had a pure and kind heart.

Maybe a little too kind, but she would make a perfect queen someday. Perhaps soon with how well she was getting along with his son.

Sadly that was the last of the good news with word of the masked boy controlling the monsters making an appearance and Lady Tremaine threatening the Grand Duke and his future daughter in-law with a pack of them.

And she payed the price for it.

Still to hear that she possibility of those reappearing only soured his mood.

He should really consider passing on the crown to Charming soon...

"Exactly your majesty. As long as Vanitas is still out there the Unversed could return. In the very least this world should be clear of Unversed for a time." Aqua said respectfully, getting the King to sigh.

"Considering that we have been plagued by these monsters nonstop for weeks, it is advisable to enjoy the time without them attacking and to better prepare for the next time." The Grand Duke said warily.

"And considering this is the third time monsters have attacked this kingdom in my lifetime, it would be for the best incase there is a fourth attack." The King attack, getting Aqua's eyes to widen and Roxas to remain silent.

"You mean the Unversed attacked here before?" Aqua asked, getting the King and the Grand Duke to shake their heads.

"No, unlike these monsters the other times were over forty some years ago. Back when his majesty was on the cusp of becoming a man." The Grand Duke explained.

"And unlike these Unversed as you put them, my father described them as black, golden eyes monsters that attacked mindlessly and could not be controlled." The King said, confirming Roxas's suspicions.

The Heartless had attacked this world a long time ago.

"And what happened to these monsters?" Aqua inquired, her tone even.

There was something else beyond the Unversed and those whose hearts were filled with darkness. Something that her Master never told either her, Terra, or Ven.

And something Roxas knew of, judging by the way he tensed up at the mention of these monsters.

"They were all destroyed by three young warriors. I don't know that much about them as my father had sent me out of the kingdom to learn aboard when I was around the boy's age. I believe he said they were called the Heartless, a group o those monsters terrorized the countryside for a few days until three warriors arrived and finished them off. Gone without a trace not long afterwards. Until a few years later a giant monster began to terrorize the kingdom at night. Until one of the three warriors returned, a man with a key like sword named Xehanort. He stayed only long enough to defeat the monster before vanishing. After that he left without a trace and I pushed the thoughts of those monsters out my mind until the Unversed attack started to attack." The King said, surprising both Keyblade wielders.

"So you were saying that Xehanort was here a long time ago?" Roxas questioned.

"He did, I take it that you two know of him?" The Grand Duke said.

"Master Xehanort is our master's oldest and closest friend. He has been missing since before the Unversed appeared." Aqua said, giving the King to nod.

"If you see him, please give him my gratitude for helping my kingdom all these years ago." He said. "But I take it that the two of you are going to leave now?"

"That is correct, we need to go after Vanitas and stop the Unversed." Roxas said.

"But I must inquire on what will happen to Lady Tremaine?" Aqua said, getting the King to frown.

For over a minute silence reigned in the room before the king spoke up once again.

"Nothing at the moment. Tremaine is already at death's door. And what Vanitas did to her is already punishment enough." He sighed out, gesturing for the Grand Duke to speak up.

"There is something that our doctors have informed us that we have told Lady Tremaine's daughters or Cinderella." The Grand Duke said as he cleaned his monocle before putting it back on. "She will not live past 5 years from now."

In another room in the castle Drizella was crying over her mother with Anastasia holding her close as the best medics in kingdom operated on her, guards plaster all over the room just incase.

And lying on a large stone slab was Lady Tremaine. Nothing more then a pale, broken, barely living corpse of her former self. The only signs that she was still alive were deep, pain filled breathes.

And miniscule wisps of darkness leaking off of her every now and then.

"Besides the gashes and burns, somehow she has been burnt, frozen, cut, and shocked her internally. It is a miracle that she is even alive right now. It is expected that Lady Tremaine will wake up but it could range from a few days to weeks from now. But besides every waking moment being in pain, she will be unable to walk on her own two feet or see out of her left eye ever again. And I can't begin to imagine what her mental state is like." The Grand Duke said, horrifying Roxas and Aqua.

To disfigure Lady Tremaine was one thing, but to basically do what he did was a level of torture Roxas was sure not even Xemnas or Saïx were willing to do.

"Her body will eventually give out and she will die in agony. That is if Lady Tremaine does not try anything or we find out any else she has done, I will personally oversee her execution myself. She will be confined to her manor for the rest of her days, surrounded by guards at all times and only allowed to leave on my decree. So that way Lady Tremaine will no longer be a threat, and if she proves me wrong then she will be nothing more then a bad memory." The King said seriously, getting both Keyblade wielders to nod.

"I see, thank you for telling us." Aqua said with a curt nod and a bow before begining to walk out of the room. "We shall be on our way for now."

"Then I wish the both of you safe travels for wherever you may go. If the past two days are of any indication you both are going to need it." The King sighed out.

"Good luck finding your friends." The Grand Duke said while, waving goodbye.

Roxas just waved them goodbye as they left the room.

He let out a sigh of relief and stumbled a bit before catching himself.

The Nobody was still recovering after everything that Vanitas had thrown at them. Roxas was thankful there was no more Unversed here as he was sure that one more fight like against the Husk, Silver Recluse, and Cursed Coach and he would collapse.

"Are you alright Roxas?" Aqua asked as they walked down the halls towards the courtyard.

"I'm fine, just need some rest and there will be plenty of time for that on the way to Enchanted Domain." Roxas said, getting Aqua to nod.

"True, and it is for the best. If Vanitas's actions on this world and everywhere else have been of any indication then you are going to need it. I just hope Ven isn't there." Aqua sighed out.

"Agreed, I don't want to know what he or Kier would do to him or me." Roxas said with a slight shudder.

On their back to the castle both of them had shared what they knew of each opponent. With what he learned of Kier and Vanitas's actions here only had the Nobody on edge.

It was safe to say that Vanitas had been using Kier to spy on him since after the Mark of Mastery exam, since it's existence caused a disruption in the timeline. In fact if Roxas wasn't sure Vanitas was telling the truth then the sentient Unversed would have been spying on the both of them.

And neither of them would have been able to sense it.

Roxas needed to get a chance to gauge for himself this sentient Unversed. If it could evolve in the middle of a battle, it was going to be difficult to deal with.

It and Vanitas were dangerous enough, but they were lying in wait in Enchanted Domain with the Unversed and whatever mess Terra supposedly left behind.

Roxas hoped that his best friend was alright, but at the moment both he and Aqua were more concerned with Ven.

There was only one more world in this cluster and it was the most logical place for him to go. If not, then he could be anywhere else in the worlds.

Still both he and Aqua agreed that Enchanted Domain was there best chance of finding Ven and getting him away. Considering that he lured their friend out of the Land of Departure and how far Vanitas was willing to go for his goals...it wouldn't end well if the two of them met up.

So both the Keyblade Master and Nobody agreed on what was the best course not action for the next world.

Find out what Terra did and fix it if possible, find Ven and make sure Vanitas doesn't get to him, and stop whatever he had planned for himself.

Which was going to be easier said then done.

"That is something we are going to make sure never happens then." Aqua said, breaking Roxas out of his musings. "We just need to stay together and make sure Vanitas doesn't catch us by surprise again. I will make sure of it." The Keyblade Master finished as they arrived at the courtyard.

He already had taken Roxas away from her twice already and was going after him and Ven.

She was going to make sure there will not be a fifth attempt.

"Are you ready to go Roxas?" Aqua asked as she trained her Keyblade skywards.

"I am." Roxas said as he pulled out his Black Coat from his bag and placed it on.

The Keyblade Master nodded before shooting a beam of light towards the sky, opening the gateway. She threw her Keyblade into the air and summoned her armor as Rainfall came down in the form in a platform like vehicle equiped with a ballista.

"Remember to hold on tight Roxas, this isn't exactly built for two people." Aqua said, her voice reverberating through her armor as she climbed onto the Keyblade glider.

Roxas climbed on a moment later and held onto Aqua as she made sure that he was secured.

Once that was done Aqua began to gracefully ascend along the castle's wall, slowly coming to a stop briefly as both she and Roxas sensed a familiar heart from a nearby window.

"Aqua, Roxas! Thank you both and Terra for everything! I hope you find you find Ven soon and tell him I said thank you too." Cinderella called out, waving them goodbye.

"We will." Aqua called out as she and Roxas waved goodbye before rocketing up to the gateway and out of the this world.

Unaware that back on the ground, the Fairy Godmother was waving them goodbye as the gateway closed. Wishing them well for wherever they go next.

The screen fades to static as the chapter ends as the theater and author reappeared as he puts the projector away.

*Hey guys Hakuorofan7 here and I hoped that you all enjoyed this chapter.*

*As you can clearly see things have gotten serious with Vanitas has left Lady Tremaine on death's door and has made his move. His plan for Roxas is drawing to it's conclusion with the Cursed Coach was meant to gather more combat data. With what he has and Kier, he is now luring the Keyblade wielders into the perfect position to execute what he has planned.*

*With Aqua and Roxas, the both of them are bracing for what is to come. The both of them willing to go after Vanitas. Especially Aqua for what he has done, though seemingly her control of the light within her heart is starting to slip.*

*For the events surrounding Lady Tremaine's fate, let's just say she suffered similar to how she and her daughters did in several different takes in Cinderella's story. At least what injuries that were not internal. She tried to mess with the Unversed as one does with the Heartless, but becoming a Heartless would have been a mercy to this.*

*Finally a revelation you all have been awaiting a while to see. The knowledge of the Heartless.*

*With the revelation of the Heartless and Xehanort fighting them decades ago as per Dark Road it has raised questions in both Roxas and Aqua concerning both them and Eraqus's involvement. With Aqua suspecting Roxas knows more about them as well.*

*She will find out about them soon enough, but I will cover that in the chapter after the next one.*

A buzzing sound echoed from the author before he silenced his watch.

*Looks like we are running out of time. But first there is two things that I need to get out of the way first.*

*The first is that I need to thank you all for the support for this story once again. It has been three years and with over 309 favorites, 368 followers, and 180 reviews at the time of publishing this chapter this is by far my best story on the site. Couldn't have done it without all of your support.*

*Secondly next chapter is a bit of an interlude, focusing on events in Radiant Garden and a confrontation between two old friends. This will provide a bit of a break for what is to come in Enchanted Domain, which with the likes of Vanitas, Kier, and a certain dark fairy spell only nothing but trouble. I hope that you all enjoy the chapter when it comes out, which should be soon.*

*Anyway that is all for now.*

*If you have any questions leave a review or PM me and I will get back to you when I can. So until next time, ciao!*

The author snaps his fingers and waves goodbye as the screen fades to black.
