The screen flickered for a bit before the author appeared.

*Hey guys Hakuorofan7 here and welcome to another chapter of From No One to Someone.*

*Been quite a bit and we had the massive reveal of Kingdom Hearts 4 between chapters! I am so excited to see where this will go once we get more details. But the scenes in Quatdratim in the trailer and Strelitzia living the now made me wish that it would come put sooner. Well can't wait to see how things turn out there.*

*Anyway in this chapter as stated in the last one this will be Ven's part of the conflict only. Aqua's and Roxas's will be next chapter along with the aftermath as it will best to see it in one go. That and Ven needed some time to shine, so I hope that you all enjoy it.*

*First I do not own Kingdom Hearts.*

*Secondly just sit back, relax, maybe put on some music, and enjoy. I will see you all at the end of the chapter.*

The author snapped his fingers, getting the screen to tirn to static as the chapter begins.

Turbulent Winds

Ven threw Wayward Wind, the Keyblade managing to fell one of the Floods on the return strike before catching it. Rolling out of the way from one of them trying to claw him in the back. Slashing at it, before grunting in pain as the other Flood managed to strike him in the gut.

He jumped black and raised his Keyblade to block it's strike, lashing out with a quick slash that felled it.

The final Flood looked between Ven and the Husk brandishing it's axes. Choosing to rush at Ven.

Only to be blown away into a tree by a silent Aero, dissipating into darkness upon striking the ground.

"That takes care of the Floods." Ven said as he saw the Husk rush towards him with it's axes raised. "Now to deal with this."

He raised his Keyblade to block as the Husk swung at him. Blocking one of the axes before parrying the other with Wayward Wind.

"Ars Arcanum!" Ven shouted, landing a series of quick slashes to the Unversed. They were quicker than what the Husk could react to. There was a brief lull in which it tried to strike him down, but Ven retaliated with another serious of slashes.

The Keyblade apprentice kept this up for a few more moments before yellinging pain as the Husk blasted him point blank with two fireballs. The Keyblade apprentice grunting in pain even more as he crashed back first into a tree.

Ven picked himself up with a groan, only to roll out of the way as an axe was thrown at him.

The Husk rushed forward with it's axe glowing with a green aura.

Only to be blindsided by Ven rushing past it, slashing with his Keyblade before pulling back. Yet to double over as the Husk kicked him, blasting him away with a shockwave.

Something Ven was more than prepared for this time.

He twisted in mid air to face the Husk as it went to retrieve it's axe, throwing his Keyblade and striking it square in the back. Staggering the Unversed as he landed on the ground, catching his Keyblade on the return. With the Husk retaliating by launching a fireball at him.

"Fire!" Ven casted, launching a fireball of his own. The two intercepted each other, erupting into a smoke screen.

The Keyblade apprentice rushed forward onto the smokescreen, only to roll out of the way as the Husk swung it's polearm down onto him. Leaping towards it and managing to hit it, only to double over as the Unversed swung the polearm into his gut.

He grunted in pain as the Husk kept up a relentless assault several more times before Ven was able to block one of the strikes, Wayward Wind's tip glowing yellow.

"Stun Block!" Ven casted, striking the Husk and quickly running back as the Husk tried to chase after him. Only it quickly surrounded with a yellow aura and couldn't move.

The aura began to fade away as Ven sparks began to charge at the end of his Keybalde.

"This had better work." Ven muttered as he faced the Unversed as the spell wore off. "Thunderstorm!"

Several bolts of lightning battered into the Husk, pushing and shocking it back a little with each strike. Yet with such little charge time the Shotlock soon ended and the Unversed soon righted itself up. Swinging it's polearm to unleash two fire balls at Ven.

With the Keyblade apprentice rolling out of the way of one before raising his Keyblade to block another one, rushing back as the Husk charged at him.

It's speed was close to his own as it quickly closed in on him and swung it's polearm to which Ven just blocked. A clash of blades began between the two with Ven on the defensive. Trying to fend off the Husk as best he could.

Easier said then done as for every two hits he could block one would land, and he only managed to land a few hits in comparison. Ven knew that he needed to pull back and heal soon, but he held in.

The clash of blades lasted for a few more moments until Ven saw his chance as he blocked another strike. The tip of his Keyblade generation violet bubbles.

"Poison Block!" He casted, swinging his Keyblade with all his might.

Knocking the polearm out of the Husk's hands and slamming it into it's gut. A violet aura spreading throughout the Unversed as it was poisoned.

In retaliation it's feet gained a brown aura before a shockwave erupted, cratering the ground and sent Ven flying into the air. But he decided to use that to his advantage.

"Payback Raid!" Ven said as straightened himself up and threw Wayward Wind into the Unversed's chest staggering back as Ven caught it on the return.

"Stun Edge! Ars Arcanum!" Ven chained together, his Keyblade gaining a yellow aure before delivering a downward strike. Stunning the Husk before releasing a series slashes before training his Keyblade downwards to it's feet. "Blizzard!"

An ice shard connected with it's legs and Ven quickly ran off, pulling a potion and an ether from his bag.

"Cure!" He casted before quickly downing the ether first followed by the potion, panting a little between gulps.

Whatever this Unversed what it was much stronger than almost anything else he had fought before…which wasn't much. But given he would say that fighting it was starting to feel like sparring with Terra and Aqua it was still up there.

Watching the Husk Ven saw that it generated a shockwave to break the ice before rushing towards it's polearm. While noting that it was still poisoned.

"I guess it will be the thousand cut method." Ven sighed out before gaining a determined look as the Husk split the polearm into axes.

There was little chance he could beat it directly, but he could outlast it!

Ven and the Husk charged at each others. The axes lit aflame and Wayward Wind gathering energy at it's tip. The Unversed unleashed a pair of fireballs, which Ven barely had anytime to dodge before training his Keyblade at it.

"Zero Gravity!" He casted, lifting his Keyblade up and a swirling mass of energy formed at the tip. Before expanding outwards to create an zero gravity field that began to pick up anything that wasn't attached to the ground of Ven himself.

Stray rocks and dirt that had been kicked up, plant life the two combatants had trampled upon, and the Husk itself.

"Mini! Ignite!" Ven casted, firing the spells at the Husk before throwing his Keyblade for good measure.

The Unversed twisted out of the way of the first spell in mid air, but the second spell managed to clip it's foot. Wisps of flames covering it before Wayward Wind slammed into it's head.

As the Keybalde returned to Ven, the Husk saw that he was running away. Letting go of it's axes to allow them to float mid air before it's feet began to generate a brown aura.

Kicking it's axes and using the shockwaves to propel them towards Ven and out of the zero gravity field.

One of them crashed into the ground between them and the other one managed to hit Ven in the back, sending him sprawling into the ground. Getting him to yell in pain as he felt the air being knocked out of him.

He lied on the ground for a few more moments before getting back up and refilling his lungs, summoning Wayward Wind back to his hand. Charging sparks at the tip of it.

Doing his best to ignore the pain as the spell ended and the Husk crashed into the ground before running towards it's axe. Ven kept his Keyblade trained on the Husk before the Shotlock was done charging.

"Thunderstorm!" Ven casted, launching a salvo of lightning bolts at the Unversed.

Each and everyone battered into the Husk as it charged towards Ven. Uncaring of the Shotlock, it being poisoned, or burning. All it wanted to do was follow it's lieges orders and kill the Keyblade apprentice.

When the salvo ended, Ven dispelled his Keyblade before grabbing the axe.

"How heavy is this thing!" Ven said as he struggled to lift up the axe as the Husk charged at him. It took a few more moments and one great heave before he was able to toss the axe into the air. Resummoning his Keyblade and training it on the axe.

"Collision Magnet!" Ven casted.

A line of energy shot out of the Keyblade and collided with the axe, a red and blue sphere emerged from it as Ven concentrated as he felt himself becoming grounded. With a swing of his Keyblade the axe collided with the Husk, sending it colliding into the ground face first.

"No wonder Terra said to keep my legs square like that when using Collision Magnet." Ven said before pulling out an ether, quickly downing it before rushing towards the Husk.

It stood back up and went to pick up it's other axe, only to stumble as it was struck in the back.

Ven ran back before rushing forward to slice at the Husk with his Keyblade, making sure to strike it in the back before retreating. He repeated the process several more times before the Husk retaliated with it's polearm.

He grunted before rolling out of the way of another strike, electricity sparking off of him.

"Thunder Roll!" Ven casted, barreling into the Husk. Shocking it and managing to land two more slashes before running off.

Ven found himself yelling out in pain as an axe was thrown towards his back. He stumbled for a bit before continuing running as he saw the Husk catching up to him.

"Aero!" He casted, blasting the Husk with a burst of air to put some distance between the two of them as he continued to run.

The Husk reform it's axes into a polearm before crouching down and jumping forward towards Ven with a shockwave, sending fireballs at the Keyblade wielder. Ven barely managed to dodged them before turning to block it's strike. Struggling to block as the Husk split it's polearm into axes and repeatedly began to slam them into Ven.

As it pulled back for another attack, it didn't notice the Keyblade's tip sparking.

"Thunder!" Ven casted, the spell blasting the Unversed point blank before trying to run.

Only to yell out as the axe was thrown at his back, a green aura covering the blades. Ven groaning as he could feel the poison coursing through his body.

"D-Dang it, Esuna!" Ven casted, feeling the poison in his body fading as he continued to run away.

He was getting exhausted and no matter what he did that Unversed would not go down! Even after all he had done and the Unversed burning and poisoned it was still standing.

Just how much longer could he keep this up Ven didn't know and he had no intention of finding out.

Ven noticed that the surrounding area began to grow darker before looking towards the Husk. Seeing the end of it's polearm glowing a dark aura before it unleashed a massive stream of darkness!

He tried to run from it was the Husk tried it's best to steer the beam towards Ven. The stream of darkness incinerating the grass and trees in it's wake, scorching the hillside as the Husk continued to steer it to Ven.

The Keyblade apprentice barely managed to out run to blast before it died out. Only to yell in pain and be slammed into the hillside as two fireballs impacted his back.

With a groan Ven began to pick himself up, being slammed into the hillside again as the Husk launched another fireball at him before splitting it's polearm into axes. As it charged at Ven, a green whirlwind began to surround the young Keyblade apprentice.

"Tornado Strike!" Ven casted, the green whirlwind now fully surrounding him and lifting the Husk into the air. Ven threw his Keyblade and it struck the Unversed clear in the head.

Only for it to retaliate by kicking it's axes to Ven, with the both of them striking him dead on this time.

Ven yelled in pain as he was sent to the ground and his spell ended. With the Husk descended down onto Ven, putting both feet together as they glowed with a brown aura.

Ven's yells turned bloodcurdling as the Unversed landed on his chest, a massive shockwave traveling through his body and cratering the ground beneath him.

"That's it I don't care what he or you say I am going to do something about that monster!" Merryweather said as she began to rush out of the underbrush. Only to be held back by Flora and Fauna. "Let me go!"

The three fairies had done what Ven had said and had hidden away from him fighting the Husk. They had seen the while thing, watching in horror as the Unversed seemed to crueler than anything but Maleficent herself.

Stomping on Ven one more time as Ven tried to retaliate with his Keyblade, only for the Husk to knock it away and pin him to the ground. Using one of it's axes to pin an arm to the ground while it went to the same with the other.

"We can't, this monster is much stronger than the others. But we can help Ven." Flora said, before all three fairies winced as Ven yelled again as the Husk stomped on his chest again. Furthering expanding the crater.

"Well if that the case, let's go!" Merryweather yelled as she charged and flew off towards the monster, Flora and Fauna following after her.

Ven groaned out as he stared at the Husk while trying to het back up. Yet the axes pining his arms to the ground was proving that difficult.

Pain was flaring through his body, black spots were starting to fill his vision, and his chest felt like getting caught up in Aqua's death grip several times in a row so possibly cracked or broken ribs.

But he was not going to back down while he still could.

As the Husk raised it's foot and generated the aura to stomp on him again, Ven summoned Wayward Wind into his hand. The tip pointing at the Unversed's chest.

"Aero!" He casted, a burst of wind pushing the Husk off of him and onto the ground.

Ven immediately began whack his Keyblade against the axe in an attempt to free himself, only for the Husk to recover and kick it out of his hands.

The Husk prepared to attack again, but it's head was suddenly covered in blue sparks.

"Leave him alone you big brute." Merryweather shouted as she dove in front of the Husk. The Unversed trying to swat at her.

Before Ven could wonder what she was doing here, he soon felt the axes being lifted from his arms, noticing they had been shifted by an auburn dance of grass and flowers suddenly growing around them.

Soon finding himself feeling a little rejuvenated as he was surrounded by red and green sparks.

"Thank you both." Ven groaned out as he tried to stand up as Flora and Fauna flew around him.

"It's no problem dear, but you should better hurry while it is distracted." Fauna said, getting Ven to shake his head as he summoned his Keyblade.

"Sorry, but not until I am sure that it is defeated. Cure!" Ven casted, feeling his injuries beginning to heal. "I am pretty sure it is almost done. Just give me a minute or two and it will all be over."

At least that he was sure. Between all the damage it took and the constant poisoning and burning the Unversed should be down soon.

The fairies looked between each other and the determined look on Ven's face before Flora sighed.

"Very well, but run away the first chance you get." Flora said and she and Fauna flew off, getting Ven to nod.

"I will if it comes down to it." Ven said, before hearing a loud burst as he saw the Husk rocketing towards him as Merryweather flew away.

The Keyblade wielder braced himself as the Husk closed in on him, rolling out of the way as the Unversed crashed into the hillside. Gathering as much as his remaining magic into a spell as mist began to form on Wayward Wind's tip.

As the Husk grabbed both of it's axes, Ven rushed forward. It swing at him, but he ducked under it's swing and hooked his Keyblade's teeth on one of their handles. Slashing at the Husk and disarming it of that axe before training the tip at it's other arm.

"Blizzard!" Ven casted the spell point blank, the ice shard connecting to the arm and sending the Husk into the hillside. With how much magic poured into the spell over half of it's body was frozen.

Yet the ice began to crack as Ven pulled back. The Husk freed it's hand and axe and trained it at Ven, launching a fireball.

He side stepped it and poured his remaining magic into one last spell as his Keyblade was covered in light.

"Spark Raid!" Ven casted as he threw his Keyblade, beams of light erupting from it as it struck the Husk.

It covered it's helmet from the light with it's free hand. When the light died down it was too late as it saw Ven rushing towards it.

"Ars Arcanum!" Ven yelled as he delivered a rapid series of slashed to the Husk, giving it his all to make sure the Unversed was finished. The slashing continued on for a few more moments before he pulled back, heavily panting.

He had hoped that this was the end of it.

Only instead the Husk burst from the ice seemingly unfazed.

Ven raised his Keybladed as the Husk charged forward, swinging it's axe.

The Husk let go of it's axe mid swing as the poison and flames surrounding it dissipated. Ven let out a sigh of relief as the Husk fell to the ground and started to fade into darkness.

It was over, it was finally over-

To Ven's surprise a Flood jumped out of the remains of the Husk to claw at him. Only for the Keyblade wielder to side step it's attack and cut the Flood down.

Ven waited until the Husk's remains to fade completely before looking around for a few more minutes before planting Wayward Wind into the ground and leaning against it.

"Now it is over." Ven said as the fairies flew towards here and in a shower of multicolored sparks before turning human sized. "Thank you for the help, are you three all right."

"That big brute couldn't even touch me, but we should be asking how you are." Merryweather said with a huff.

"I fine…just to rest for a bit." Ven said, pulling out an elixir and downing it immediately.

"Take as much time as you need dear, you are going to need it once we enter Maleficent's territory." Fauna said with a reassuring smile.

"And we will not be hearing you to complain or anything. After dealing with such a monster the three of us are going to make sure that you are not leaving this spot until you are recovered." Flora said, to which Ven just nodded.

Having been used to hearing something similar from Aqua when he would overexert or injure himself while training these past few years.

Besides he was sure he would not be moving from this spot for quite a bit…not without a few more potions and ethers.

That Unversed was far stronger than every other on he had faced before. Ven wondered if Terra had faced anything else like that on the other worlds he had been to. Maybe he had, maybe he had not.

Yet Ven was sure he probably would have handled that Unversed better than he could have.

And there was no guarantee that it wasn't the only such Unversed of it's kind ahead. Or that this Maleficent was possibly just as strong, if not stronger than it was.

With that in mind with his free hand Ven reached into his bag and pulled out his journal, flipping through to his notes and began to read through them.

Once Ven felt that he was ready enough, he was going to spend a few moments to practice some of what he had written in his journal before going to rescue Aurora's heart from Maleficent. While it probably wouldn't amount to much of a difference, but Ven would take what opportunities he could get.

It was just another form of training to him, shifting from sparing and practicing with his friends to fighting the Unversed most of the time.

Now that he thought about it, Ven seemed to find that it was easier to learn while fighting the Unversed than he could under his Master and fellow apprentices. He didn't know why yet things seemed to come easier to him fighting the Unversed.

Ven just shrugged it off as just another way to being one step closer to his friend's level.

Speaking of which, he wondered how they were. Ven was worried about Terra's condition, but he was also curious on how his Master, Aqua, and Roxas were doing.

Considering the former two, they probably would come looking for him after he had left the Land of Departure like that. Although they clearly hadn't caught up to him yet…maybe it was a good idea to check Castle of Dreams for them when he would go back to see if Terra had been there as well.

That could wait for later.

Right now he needed to free Aurora's heart first before he could get the answers he wanted.

The screen flickered for a bit before the author reappeared.

*Hey guys Hakuorofan7 here and I hoped that you all enjoyed this chapter.*

*As you could see here Ven was in quite the struggle here. He is behind on Terra and Aqua and lacks the experience that Roxas has but he more than makes up for it with his speed, adaptability, and tenacity. Although against the Husk it was difficult for him.*

*Especially this one as it was ordered to eliminate him. All the other ones that had been unleashed were trying to do the same to Roxas and Aqua, but they were meant to test or weaken them. This Husk was determined to inflict as much pain as it could before killing him.*

*And the both of them expolitenitg each other's weakness. For Ven is that compared to his fellow apprentices he can't take as much damage as they do. It just needed the right chance to deal enough damage and cut his mobility to go in for the kill. For the Husk it was it's dedication to killing Ven and need to inflict pain on him. With the later the Husk had the perfect chance to kill Ven, but it"s need to inflict a painful death allowed the fairies to free him. And Ven capitalized it's drive to kill him early on by poisoning and burning it, just waiting to outlast the Husk while continuing to damage it.*

*It was a close fight and Ven knows it, taking the chance to quickly look through his notes to close the gap between him and the Eraqus's other apprentices as much as he could before facing Maleficent. Figuring that she would be more dangerous than the Husk.*

*With her regaining her wings Ven would need all the rest and preparation he could when it comes time to face her.*

*Anyway that should be all for now.*

*Next chapter Aqua, Roxas, and Stefan face off against Vanitas, Maleficent, Kier, and the Unversed. With the fighting being cut short before Maleficent pulls one more spiteful act that affects all of Enchanted Domain and shocks even Vanitas. What it may you may ask…I will reveal it next chapter. But let's just say it will probably surprise most of you and leave it at that.*

*I hope that you all will enjoy the next chapter when it comes out.*

*If you have any questions leave a review or PM me and I will get back to you when I can. So until next time, ciao!*

The author waved goodbye as the screen fades to black.
