While walking through Silver Hills, Sky, Tyler, Megan, and Andrea were showing Sky's friends around seeing other places they haven't seen and were having a good time. Sky started to remember back when he was a kid when he first came here with his mom, uncle, and along with her friends, and felt he was reliving those moments he had.
"Hey Sky." Sky heard his name being called and saw it was Andrea. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Just spaced out a bit." Sky responded.
"What's on your mind?" Andrea asked.
"I just started to remember back when I was a kid when I first came here with mom, her friends, your dad, and uncle Michael. It was the first time I've seen mom smile." Sky explained.
"Really. Like she felt like she was at home." Andrea said.
"Pretty much, I mean I didn't know we were in a different type of century if we put it that way." Sky said.
"You mean you didn't know the difference between the future where mom and my dad were from and present time where your dad was from." Andrea explained.
"Yeah. It was where I once lived there in the future and was thought being on vacation in the present not realizing the difference." Sky said.
"You were only a kid and didn't know much what was around you." Andrea said.
"True. Though I never noticed what was missing around me too." Sky said.
"Which was what?" Andrea asked.
"That I never knew if I had a dad or even knew I did." Sky said.
"When did you realize that?" Andrea asked.
"Back when Tyler, Megan, and I were little we were drawing and I showed them what I drew, it was of me, mom, uncle Michael, grandpa, your dad, along with mom's friends and they asked why I didn't draw my dad." Sky explained.
"You ever asked mom?" Andrea asked.
"I did, she had told me stories about a friend she had, though I didn't know that she was actually talking about my dad, she was sad remembering the day he died and never knew about me." Sky explained.
"How did he die?" Andrea asked.
"All I can remember she told me there was an accident that happened where he died, she didn't tell me what kind." Sky answered.
"At least you did know about him and that mom did tell you." Andrea said.
"True. Although I wish she told me more stories about him, with more detail to understand." Sky said.
"Well, there is my dad to tell you, he still has more to tell us." Andrea said.
"I know where your going this, but I still want nothing to do with him." Sky said.
"If you hear him out, then you'll understand and you still want to know about your power, don't you?" Andrea said.
"Of course I want to know, it's just...I feel like I can't trust him or his words anymore." Sky said.
"All I can say is just give him a chance, do it not just for me, but for mom." Andrea said.
"I'll think about it." Sky said, when he and his friends stopped for a bit, taking a break from walking.
"Okay, we mostly looked around and gave us the tour of knowing the places around here." Jack said.
"Yeah. Thanks, we needed to get to know here more." Bridge said.
"No problem. That way we're getting to know each other very well." Tyler said.
"Is there anything else we can do around here?" Syd asked.
"Well, there is something in mind. Come on follow me." Megan said, as they all got up and started following her, when they arrived to where they were walking, seeing it was the town fair.
"Whoa! A town fair. I haven't been to one in such a long time." Bridge said.
"Never been to one of these before." Jack said.
"Same here, we'll be glad to have some fun around." Z said.
"We heard it was in town, and our parents use to bring us here when we were kids." Megan said.
"Though we eventually grew out of it, but we had great memories." Tyler said.
"I remember you we're always excited to go, and helped you out in every game to get yourself a prize." Sky said to Andrea.
"Until you finally won me a stuffed dog, I still have it to this day." Andrea said.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's have some fun." Bridge said.
"I say we split, as in we choose a partner to hang with." Jack said.
"Good idea. Sounds fine with us." Sky said.
"Great. That means I choose Jack as my partner to hang." Bridge said.
"Okay. I accept." Jack said.
"Me next. I choose Andrea as my partner to hang." Syd said.
"Sure. I accept, I have already liked one of my brother's friends to get along with." Andrea said.
"And Z why don't you and Tyler be partners." Bridge said.
"What! No way. I don't want to hang with him." Z said.
"Agree. I don't want to hang with her." Tyler said.
"You both can't be like this, we're all trying to get along here." Sky said.
"I think it would be best for you two to settle your differences." Megan said.
"Okay. Fine. I'll try to get along with him." Z said.
"Same. I guess why not." Tyler said.
"Then that leaves Sky and Megan as partners." Andrea said.
"Look at that. What a coincidence." Megan said.
"Uh..yeah. Fine with me." Sky said.
"Great. Now come on. Let's get to the fun." Bridge said, as they all went separately.
"Nice idea you had there, Jack." Bridge said.
"Well I thought it would be an easy way to get everyone to get along, since we all are Sky's friends here." Jack explained.
"You are right about that, though nice to get Z to get along with Tyler." Bridge said.
"Let's hope they do, knowing Z she's not that easy to get along with." Jack said.
"That my friend I agree, even had it planned well with Sky and Megan." Bridge said.
"What do you mean by that?" Jack asked.
"Isn't it obvious, I mean you haven't noticed?" Bridge said.
"Bridge. You really need to stop doing what you do, even if you can't help it." Jack said.
"Sorry. Can you blame me?" Bridge said.
"Apparently yes." Jack responded and both were up for a turn in a game, while Syd and Andrea were trying to knock down milk bottles with softballs and didn't had any luck.
"That's quite a throw there you got." Syd said.
"I learned from the best." Andrea responded.
"Let me guess, Sky. Right?" Syd said.
"Yeah. He's been a great brother." Andrea said.
"You've missed him a lot, haven't you?" Syd asked.
"I did, at times I felt alone, though Tyler and Megan are like my older brother and sister." Andrea answered.
"You all look out for each, like family." Syd said.
"What about you? Do you have any brothers or sisters?" Andrea asked.
"Only child, it's just my parents and me. Though at times I did feel alone." Syd said.
"Do you miss them? Your parents." Andrea asked.
"I do. I only get to see them on occasions, at times I call them too, to know how they are doing." Syd answered.
"Do you at times feel alone?" Andrea asked.
"At first I did. It wasn't easy fitting in, though Sky and Bridge were the first friends I made, didn't know they both had a power like me." Syd answered.
"Sky felt like he didn't belong anywhere ever since he knew about his power, but glad he has found some friends that are just like him." Andrea said.
"Glad that he is our friend too." Syd said.
"Want to try that game over there?" Andrea asked.
"Sure. Let's go." Syd answered, and walked by the game stand, while Z and Tyler were just walking around not saying a word to each other, until Tyler decided to say something.
"We've been walking around a lot haven't we?" Tyler asked, and Z gave him a glare.
"You really want me to answer that?" Z responded.
"Maybe we didn't get off on a good start." Tyler said.
"You think?" Z said.
"I'll admit, I got distracted a little, I dropped something in my car while picking it up quickly and didn't even see how you stepped in the road." Tyler said.
"My friends and I were crossing, I dropped something very important and went to pick it before a car came, that's when your car suddenly appear and almost hit me." Z said.
"Mind if I say that I'm sorry, I acted like a jerk, even about those other times how I acted too." Tyler said.
"I'm surprised your actually admitting on how you were being." Z said.
"Got to learn from the mistakes I made." Tyler said.
"That is true. Maybe I should apologize for being rude to you." Z said.
"Apology accepted. What do you say? Start over?" Tyler asked.
"Sure. For us being Sky's friends here." Z said.
"Let's introduce ourselves like we should have. I'm Tyler." Tyler said, and both shook hands.
"And I'm Z. Well it's actually Elizabeth, but do call me Z." Z said.
"Elizabeth. Never would have guessed it, but it's a nice name." Tyler said.
"Thanks." Z said.
"Why don't we start playing a game or something." Tyler said.
"Sure. I'm already getting bored from walking." Z said.
"Same here. Let's go." Tyler said, and both went walking to a stand, while Sky and Megan were trying having a great time.
"Come on Sky. You got this." Megan said, while Sky was using a toy pistol with suction cup darts knocking every target he hit and won, winning a prize.
"I won this prize for you." Sky said, giving a stuffed bear to Megan.
"Thank you. It's cute." Megan said.
"Your welcome. Sort of reminded me those times when I tried really hard to win you something whenever we come here." Sky said.
"I remember, you were a bit bad, but tried. Now that you did win me something, you were outstanding, you hit every target." Megan said.
"What can I say, I had a lot of practice." Sky said.
"So I see, they must have taught you a lot at the academy." Megan said.
"Yeah. They did, though at times I did miss being here." Sky said.
"Then why didn't you come visit? Tyler and I had been seeing our parents and Andrea on occasions during the past four years." Megan said.
"I have been wanting to, but I guess I needed time to find myself." Sky explained.
"What do you mean by that?" Megan asked.
"Well, I never knew where my power came from, same with my friends, all I know is that I'll never know because my step-dad doesn't have the time to tell me, though it doesn't matter, I want nothing from him." Sky explained.
"At least he did tell you about your dad even other things you and Andrea didn't know about." Megan said.
"I only know is that how he and my mom met, what I didn't know was that he and my mom were engaged before." Sky said.
"They were? So they dated before your mom met your dad?" Megan asked.
"I guess you can say that, he did wanted to explain more, but I didn't want to hear more from him." Sky said.
"I know how upset you are to see your step-dad back, even if Andrea has told you before and now I'll tell you this, let him explain everything, you can't keep avoiding him, just listen on what he's trying to tell you, do it for Andrea and your mom." Megan said.
"Okay. Fine. I'll give listen on what he wants to tell me, but it doesn't mean I'll give him a second chance." Sky said.
"Glad to hear this from you, and Andrea will too." Megan said, and both looked at each others eyes, when suddenly Tyler and Andrea came looking for them.
"There you two are." Andrea said.
"We've been looking all over for you." Tyler said.
"Sorry, I guess we got a bit lost." Sky said.
"Yeah. What he said." Megan said.
"Well, the rest are waiting to go somewhere else now." Tyler said.
"Oh. Okay, then let's go." Sky said, and both him and Megan followed Tyler and Andrea.
