Chapter Eleven:
A Robotnik's Fury
"MORE SONICS?!"
Eggman was beside himself as he watched the news report on the situation in Westopolis.
He couldn't believe what was going on, he and his counterparts had just started organizing a plan with potential to work and, now, not only was it discovered that there was more than one Sonic now, the attack on Westopolis had gone awry.
As if dealing with one Sonic and seeing him escape during their first encounter wasn't enough, Eggman now had to deal with multiple hedgehogs and the fact that three of his counterparts had been defeated in a city they had barely conquered when Sonic arrived with his reinforcements.
Oh, and Mama Robotnik was with them, and he could hear her anger right now.
"This is turning into a massive disaster very quickly." Morpho remarked.
"Even though my world doesn't have a Sonic..." Lord Eggman groaned, "I still have to deal with a Sonic from a universe where I haven't conquered ANYTHING because of him. And worst of all, THE SONIC WHO HUMILIATED ME IS HERE IN THIS UNIVERSE!"
"We miscalculated!" Classic Eggman slapped his head in shock.
"How?!" Eggman growled with fury as he shut off the screen, "There was no indication that others came through when I used the dimensional machine to bring in all of you along with my younger genius self here...
"DID SOMEONE BUILD ANOTHER DIMENSIONAL GENERATOR AND USE IT TO BRING IN THE OTHER SONICS WITHOUT ANY OF US KNOWING IT?!"
"I can't imagine who it could have been, but I doubt that twin-tailed fox mutant they call Tails has something to do with this!" Boom Eggman commented.
Just then, the doors opened and AoSTH Robotnik marched in with a cowering Scratch and Grounder, eyes ablaze with fury as he stared at Doctor Eggman and their other counterparts.
The other robots in the room yelped and scattered, seeing how furious the cartoon-y Robotnik stomped in Eggman's direction with Sat AM Robotnik and Underground Robotnik behind him as well.
"More Sonics!" AoSTH Robotnik growled, "Not only did we deal with Sonic, but my Sonic was there along with other Sonics AND EVERYTHING FELL APART!
"I DON'T CARE WHO THAT BLASTED FIRE-WIELDING CAT IS, HOW DO OUR PLANS KEEP FALLING APART DESPITE OUR NEW COLLABORATION! AND WE FORMULATED THE PERFECT PLAN TO LURE OUT SONIC!"
"And I let you borrow some of my robots WHICH GOT DEMOLISHED!" Eggman shouted back.
"AND WHAT COULD HAVE HELPED WOULD BE IF YOU HAD GIVEN US A SUPER BADNIK, PERHAPS A HUMONGOUS ROBOT THAT COULD HAVE HELPED IN THE BATTLE, MAYBE MORE THAN ONE LARGE BATTLE MECH WE COULD HAVE USED TO CRUSH THE HEDGEHOGS!"
"You never asked, you simpleton..."
"IQ OF THREE-HUNDRED AND HOW ARE WE NEVER ABLE TO DESTROY. THE. HEDGEHOG? AS TO HOW THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE HEDGEHOG, DID YOU KEEP THAT MACHINE SPAWNING MORE PORTALS?! AND MOST OF ALL, SHE WAS NOT HELPING!"
And just then, Mama Robotnik marched in, steam billowing from her ears while her temple throbbed with rage.
"Did you just indicate..." She snarled to AoSTH Robotnik, "...that I, your mother, AM ONE OF THE FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO OUR DEFEAT WHEN YOU PULLED THAT STUNT AND THREW ME OUT OF THE SHUTTLE!"
"Ah, Mama..." Classic Eggman stammered, "I'm glad to see you're in one piece..."
"Shut up!" Mama Robotnik bashed Classic Eggman in the head, glaring at AoSTH Robotnik with rage as she began to rant, "UNSUCCESSFUL, NO MATTER WHAT UNIVERSE, AND WHAT WILL THE OTHERS AT THE ASYLUM HAVE TO SAY IF THEY HEAR OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS?!
"AND HOW DARE YOU NOT GIVE ME CREDIT FOR TRYING TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING APART! "YOU KNOW WHY I CAME THROUGH THE PORTAL INTO THIS DIMENSION, DESPITE YOU NOT INVITING ME!
"I WILL NOT STAND BACK AND LET MY SON'S PLAN TO SQUASH THAT HEDGEHOG FAIL AGAIN AND I WANT HIM DESTROYED AS MUCH AS ANYBODY ELSE! AND WHAT SORT OF VILLAIN WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD WITHOUT LETTING HIS MOTHER RULE WITH HIM?!
"I HAVE DEALT WITH ASYLUM LIFE FOR TOO LONG, NOW THIS ALLIANCE IS MY CHANCE TO ENSURE MY SON'S VICTORY AND THE DESTRUCTION OF SONIC! AND WHEN THE MULTIVERSE IS CONQUERED, I WILL BE RULING WITH YOU AND YOU WILL SHARE WHATEVER UNIVERSE YOU ARE RULING WITH ME!
"MAMA ROBOTNIK SHALL REIGN OVER EVERY VERSION OF THE WORLD WHERE THERE IS AN ASYLUM LIKE THE ONE I WAS IN, WHERE ALL LIKE ME SHALL WALK FREE! AND I WANT TO MAKE MY OWN ASYLUM, ONE WHERE THOSE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO DISOBEY ME WILL ROT!
"And look at where we are, nowhere close to victory, BECAUSE OF MORE THAN ONE HEDGEHOG AND BECAUSE IT SEEMS MY SON ISN'T SMART ENOUGH ON HIS OWN!"
Sat AM Robotnik pressed a button on his mechanical arm and a pair of Swatbots entered the room before seizing Mama Robotnik, then they began cuffing and tying her up while she yelled with tremendous fury. A piece of tape was then slapped on her mouth, even as she continued screaming while muffled.
AoSTH Robotnik glared at his mother, despite his compassion for her, and then began yelling again.
"YOU WERE NOT THE TOP COMMANDER OF THE ATTACKS AND NEITHER ARE YOU THE LEADER OF THE ALLIANCE!" He shouted, "AND WE DID NOT TAKE KINDLY TO BEING HIT BY YOU! YOU EXIST IN MY UNIVERSE, BUT YOU DON'T IN THE OTHERS!"
He then turned to the others. "We may have lost..." AoSTH Robotnik continued, "BUT THE WAR IS FAR FROM OVER, I SAY WE UNLEASH A GREAT WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION ON THE HEDGEHOGS WHILE THEIR DEFENSES ARE LOWERED, THERE IS NO DOUBT THEY'RE EXHAUSTED FROM THE BATTLE!"
"I'm tempted to object..." Eggman growled, "BUT THE HEDGEHOG MUST BE DEFEATED AT ALL COSTS NECESSARY!"
"EGGS-ACTLY, DOCTOR!" AoSTH Robotnik shouted.
"DEPLOY ALL THE SUPER BADNIKS WE HAVE, SONIC MUST BE SMASHED, AND WE WILL TEAR THE WORLD APART TO DESTROY HIM IF WE HAVE TOO! ACTIVATE ANY AND ALL SUPER BADNIK MECHS THAT WE HAVE, SONIC WILL NEVER SEE IT COMING FROM MILES AWAY!"
