Almost too soon it's time for Blaines birthday. Time for his sleepover party. Burt not at the Anderson house because of all days on his birthday Robert has to come to Lima. Instead the Hudson-Hummel's offered to place the party at their house.
Blaine wakes up in the morning and when he comes down the stairs his mom and aunt already wait for him. They eat breakfast together and like so often Blaine packs his bag to go to Kurts. Since all the party stuff is already there he just takes his stuff for the night and cosmetics. He also packs his moms and aunts present because they insisted that he will open it tonight with the others.
At Kurts he gets greeted with a kiss and a tight hug happy birthday. The birthday boy only gets his present when the others are there and Kurt also doesn't sing happy birthday yet because it's more fun with the others. He and Kurt cook lunch together in the kitchen with music playing loudly and the boys singing even louder. After lunch with the whole family Kurt, Blaine and Finn prepare and decorate everything together.
The living room looks colorful when everything is decorated and soon the mattresses for the guests are prepared as well. Last but not least they prepare the pizza so when everyone gets hungry they just have to put it in the oven. They also put plates and glasses out already just like Carols selfmade lemonade.
Right in time the guests arrive. Rachel, Sam, Mercedes and from Westerville Wes, Jeff and Nick. Blaine bursts with exitement to see his friends from Dalton again and Kurt smiles widely when he sees Blaine happy like that. He deserves the best and the best only. Everyone greets the birthday boy and puts the presents on a table. Food first so the pizza goes in the oven.
The pizza is delicious and Carols lemonade even better. For dessert Pam made her son and his guests a big chocolate cake. The friends sing for Blaine happy birthday and when he blows out the candles Blaine makes a wish. Of course he can't say what. If he would it wouldn't come true but Blaine has a good feeling that it will.
Blaines aunt gave him a photo album to fill with memories of his and his friends and his mom the book he couldn't shut up about for the past two weeks or so. Nick and Jeff had the idea that he could change his guitar strings because he mentioned that he'd like to do it the last time they talked and a collection of songs. His New Directions friends had the idea to put money together and rent a bowling line for the last Saturday of the holidays where they could all go together. Knowing that Blaine wants to redecorate his room a little and likes plants Wes bought his best friend two plants. Small ones but beautiful.
Last but not least he opens Kurts present. He takes the bag with Kurts handswriting saying his name and pulls a jar out. In it are little pieces of paper and on the side is written 'Jar of feelings' with the meaning of these colors. Black for afraid, pink for love, red for angry, dark blue for annoyed, light blue for miserable, purple for disapointed, light green for happy, dark green for sad, orange for exhausted and yellow for hope.
"I thought it might be a cute idea. Whenever you feel happy, sad or anything else you pull a random piece of paper in the fitting color out and read it. Put it back in for the next time so you never run out of them" Kurt explains. Blaine looks at him, tears collecting in his puppy eyes. "Thank you" he whispers and hugs his boyfriend tightly. "I'll read them all as soon as we're alone tomorrow. I love you" he then says and after Kurt answers "I love you too" Blaine presses his lips on Kurts.
The party goes on and on until it's 3 am. The first people already went to bed. Wes, Nick and Jeff sleep on mattresses in Kurts room and Mercedes, Rachel and Sam in Finns room. Blaine and Kurt get ready for bed too and cuddle under the blanket. They don't really talk much longer besides 'goodnight' and 'I love you' because they too are tired.
The next morning around 11 everyone eats breakfast before the guests have to leave. Wes as the last one to get picked up helps Blaine and Kurt to clean up. Burt and Carol both are at work and Finn went with Rachel to her place so the three boys are alone, cleaning, listening to music and singing along. Blaine smiles widely when he and Kurt stand in the door frame after saying goodbye, waving Wes in the car until he's out of sight.
In the afternoon he and Kurt sit in the garden. Music plays and they drink the rest of the lemonade while eating the rest of the cake. Kurt reads his book and Blaine finally has time to read the quotes in the jar of feelings.
Afraid:

- Some people think they are champagne in a tall glass when actually they are luke warm piss in a plastic cup.

Two days before school starts again Pam is officially divorced. Means after the friends went bowling the Hudson-Hummels are invited for dinner at the Anderson-Bell house. Now that they finally don't have to wait until Robert went home. Robert Anderson isn't a part of their lives anymore.
