Chapter 10: Godbye My Dear Grandson
She went downstairs and opened the door. In front of her stood tall, handsome red haired boy whole wet. She was shocked. Her eyes widened.
˝T..Tala…?˝
˝Julia…?˝ He looked at her. He was also shocked to see her in his best friends house.
˝Come in.˝ He entered the house and they went in living room.
˝What are you doing here, Tala?˝ Julia started blushing.
˝Well, I came here to visit my best friend and to tell him some news. And what about you?˝ Tala asked.
˝Well…I have to marry…Kai…˝
˝What!? But you said…˝ When Tala was about to speak she cut him of.
˝I know what I said. And I truly did mean what I said but, it's an arraged marrieag. There's nothing we can do about it.˝ Julia said.
˝Who arranged it?˝ Tala asked.
˝His grandfather and my father.˝
˝Oh.˝ Tala lowered his head.
˝Is there something wrong?˝
˝I have some bad news for Kai, so I really need to talk to him.˝
˝Well, he's not here right now. But he should be home any minute now.˝
˝Oh. Good.˝
˝I have to go check how Hilary is. I'll be right back.˝ Julia got up and went upstairs.
Julia entered the room and saw that Hilary started waking up.
˝Uh…where...where am I?˝ She looked around the room.
˝Oh, you're up. That's goon news.˝ Julia aproched to her.
˝Who are you?˝ Hilary asked.
˝I'm Julia. When Kai and I were walking we saw you sitting in the middle of thet meadow all alone int he rain and you passed out and so we took you in.˝
˝Kai..!? Kai is here?˝ Hilary aske.
˝He went out, but he'll be back soon. Do you need anything?˝ Julia asked.
˝No, thank you. Um..Julia?˝
˝Yes?˝
˝Can I ask you somehing?˝
˝Sure…˝
˝You…are you the one who has to marry Kai?˝
˝….˝ She lowered her head.
˝Answer me! Please!˝ Hilary raised her voice a bit.
˝Yeah. I have to….but I don't want to. I mean Kai is really nice guy and good friend but I love someone else. And it turns out it's his best friend.˝ Julia said.
˝Oh, I see.˝
Suddenly Tala heard door opening the door. He went to check who is it and saw Kai entering the house.
˝Kai!˝
˝Tala!? Hey buddy! What brings you here?˝ Kai hugged his best friend.
˝Well, I have some bad news for you. Here's letter from your grandfather.˝
˝Letter? But why…˝
˝He died, Kai. Your grandfather died.˝ Tala said looking at his best friend whos eyes widened.
˝He… but how…?˝
˝Everything is in that letter. Before he died he told me to give it to you.˝ Tala handed over the letter to Kai.
Kai opened the letter and it said:
My dear grandson, Kai.
I know that you might hate me for everything I did, but you have to now that everything I did I did it to make you happy. To make sure you have normal and happy life. And I'm really sorry I tried to force you to get married someone you don't know and I'm sorry I forbided you to see that girl, Hilary. If you really truly love that girl then niether I or anyone else can forbide you to be with her and to be happy.
I know this is sudden but I was very sick for quite some tome now, and I saw this coming. I knew I was going to die, but I didn't wanted to tell you.
I already said this and I'm gonna say it again. I'm sorry for everythig and I know I wasn't the best granfater to you and I hope that you'll be able to forgive you should know one more thing that I didn't say that musc and I probably should have.

As he finished reading the letter his eyes filled up with tears and he started crying. He fell on his knees still crying.
˝Kai...˝ Tala whispered as he saw his best friend crying on his knees.
˝Kai, come on, buddy. Get up.˝ Tala helped him get up.
˝Why? Why? Why didn't he tell me!? Why didn't he tell me he was sick! That he was dying! And why…? I don't undarstand! How…Why…˝ Kai started yelling while Tala was looking at him.
