Chapter 12: Can We Be Friends Again?
They took Tyson to Kai's house. They called a doctor who came and took care of Tyson. Everyone else were downstairs in living room, waiting.
They the doctor came.
˝Doctor, is Tyson gonna be okay?˝ Hilary got up and asked him.
˝He still has a fever, but he is going to be okay.˝ He said and everyone sighed.
˝Thank God.˝ Max said.
˝Good thing you called in time cause, if you called a little bit later he could have died.˝ Doctor said.
˝Thank you for everything, doctor.˝ Kai said escorting the doctor out.
˝No problem, Kai. I promised you grandfather and your parents that if something ever happened to them to look after you.˝ Doctor said putting his arm on Kai's shoulder, he smiled.
˝Bye, Kai.˝ Doctor left.
˝Bye.˝
´I guess grandfather really did care…´ Kai tought as he watched the doctor walking away.
´You must be with mom and dad now, huh?´ Kai smiled gently as he watched up in the clear blue sky.
˝Kai…˝ Someone put hand on his shoulder. Kai turned around.
˝Ray?˝
˝Are you okay?˝ Ray asked him.
˝Yeah, I'm fine.˝ Kai said.
˝That's good.˝ Ray said laughing a bit. ˝So what are your plans now?˝
˝Huh?˝
˝I mean you don't have to marry Julia anymore, so what now...?˝
˝I'm planning to marry Hilary…and…well…since you, Max, Tyson and Kenny are like her brothers, her only family…and you're the oldest so…˝ Kai blushed a bit trying to ask Ray something.
˝You have my blessing, buddy.˝ Ray said laughing. ˝And I'm sure Max and Kenny will be very happy.˝
˝And Tyosn? Dose he hate me…?˝
˝Nah! He'll get over it. Trust me.˝ Ray smiled. Kai smiled back.
˝Thanks, Ray…˝
˝No problem.˝
In the living room…
Max, Kenny, Tala and Julia were siting on the couch.
˝I'm glad Tyson is going to be okay.˝ Max said smiling.
˝Yeah.˝
˝So, you two are friends of Hilary and Tyson?˝ Julia asked.
˝Yes, we're best friend. Well, actually we're more like family.˝ Max answered.
˝I see. So what are you planning now? You can't live in that barn forever.˝ Tala said.
˝We'll figuer out something.˝ Kenny said.
˝Why not live here, 'till you figure it out?˝ Kai and Ray came in.
˝What?˝
˝Really?˝
˝Yeah, I talked to Ray and he agreed.˝
˝What do you think, guys?˝ Ray asked.
˝Yeah!˝ Max said cheerfully.
˝Sure, why not.˝
˝That's my best friend…Kai…the king of kindness.˝ Tala teased him. Everyone started laughing.
In the room…
Hilary was sitting on a chair by the bed where Tyson was lying. She held his hand, she looked at him.
˝Tyson…I know…you're mad at me, and you probably…hate me…but I wanted to tell you…that I'm sorry, I'm really really sorry for everything…I wish…I really really wish that you and I can be friends again…I wish you could forgive me…I want my best friend back…I can't stand the knowing that you hate…that one of most important people in my life…hates me…please Tyson…I…I really hope you could…˝ She still held his hand, she fell down on her knees by the bed, crying. Tightly holding his arm. Suddenly his hand moved. She raised her head to see his eyes slowly opening.
˝Tyson…˝
˝Hil…˝ He looked at her.
