Chapter 11: Out of the Past

We find ourselves at an unknown location in the mountains
Using his bloodbending, Tarrlok brought Korra down to a basement where a large metal box was waiting inside.
As he put her inside, Korra slowly wakes up.
"What are you doing?" Korra groans.
But instead of answering her, Tarrlok just threw her in and slammed the door shut.
"Tarrlok! You can't keep me in here forever!" Korra yells.
Not even responding Tarrlok heads back to his vehicle and drives away revealing Korra was all alone with no one coming to help her.
The following morning at Air Temple Island, we find Koji laying in bed as the light slowly entered the room.
Groaning Koji slowly opened his eyes.
"Ugh my head." Koji said holding his head.
Opening his eyes he looked around confused.
"Wait when did I get back home?" Koji asks confused. "The last thing I remember was…" Eyes widening Koji remembered Tarrlok taking away Asami, Mako and Bolin. "Asami!" Koji gasps.
"Koji!" Looking up he saw Tenzin, Jinora, Meelo and Ikki come in.
"You're awake!" His cousins smile as they dog pile on top of him giving him a hug.
"Guys." Koji chuckles weakly as Tenzin walks over.
"It's good to see you're awake. We were all worried about you." Tenzin smiles.
"Thanks Uncle Tenzin. What happened last night?" Koji asks.
"That's what we want to know. Jinora, Ikki and Meelo found you on the shore of the island unconscious." Tenzin said.
"We saved your life." Meelo said proudly.
"That's giving it a bit of a stretch." Jinora said.
"Koji what happened? You attacked Tarrlok and the police have declared you a wanted criminal." Tenzin asks concerned.
"I don't know. It's when I saw Tarrlok threaten nonbenders, cut off their power, and arrest my friends I just…snapped. I was just so angry." Koji frowns.
"I understand. Tarrlok can be very infuriating. We're just glad you're safe." Tenzin said.
"Daddy are they gonna arrest Koji?" Ikki asks.
"No. Koji's actions may not have been the right ones but the only reason the police want to arrest him is because Tarrlok has them all wrapped around his finger. As long you're with me, they can't touch you." Tenzin said.
Hearing that they all couldn't help but smile.
"Why don't you got check on your mother? Koji could probably use some food right about now." Tenzin suggests.
"On it!" Ikki and Meelo said.
"Get better soon." Jinora said as they headed out leaving Koji and Tenzin alone.
"Thanks Uncle Tenzin and I'm really sorry for making you all worry." Koji said.
Slowly Tenzin leans in. "Between you and me. I've wanted to give Tarrlok a beating for years." Tenzin whispers making him chuckle.
"Uncle Tenzin." Koji smirks.
"But let's not make it a habit. I'm willing to understand that these last few days have stressful and hard on you to say the least, but I don't want to see you go down a dark path. You're a White Lotus and my family." Tenzin said.
"I'll try. I promise." Koji nods.
"Attaboy." Tenzin said when the phone rang. "I better answer that before Meelo does." Tenzin said getting up.
'Last night…where did all that power come from? It's like I wasn't myself.' Koji thought.
'But it was.' The dark voice said getting Koji's attention.
"You again? What do you mean?" Koji asks.
'You finally showed them all why you are not to messed with. All the anger and frustration these people cause you was let out. You showed them how weak they are compared to you.' The dark voice explains.
"So I really did beat up Tarrlok." Koji realized.
'No you destroyed him. And next time you will destroy anyone who stands in your way: Tarrlok, Hiroshi, not even Amon will stop you.' The dark voice said.
"Destroy? I mean sure those guys are awful but destroy? That seems a little much." Koji hesitates.
'Think about it. Tarrlok was willing to take everything from you, but the second you fought back he was at your mercy. You can do it all on your own. You can stop all this. Just embrace your anger.' The voice said.
As Koji was lost in this thought Tenzin answered the phone. "Councilman Tenzin here…what?" Tenzin said in shock.
Seconds later, the door swung open startling Koji.
"Korra's been captured." Tenzin declares.
"What?!" Koji said shooting up out of bed.
"I need to get to the Council immediately." Tenzin said.
"I'm coming with you." Koji said.
"You need your rest. Plus you're still wanted." Tenzin said trying to stop him.
"I'm not gonna sit down and do nothing while Korra is who knows where." Koji said.
Seeing he was right, Tenzin sighs in defeat.
At City Hall, the police and press were taking pictures of the battle last night, but it also had some Equalist gear.
Sitting down at the steps, Tarrlok was being looked at by a healer.
In the back Tenzin was coming in with Koji who had a hood over his head
"Now stay here and keep your head down." Tenzin nods as Koji stood to the side so he could listen in while Tenzin made his way in.
"What happened? What was Korra doing at City Hall?" Tenzin asks.
"As I told Chief Saikhan, Korra came to my office late last night. She was upset that I arrested her friends and labeled a Koji a criminal. She asked me to release them and take it down... that's when the Equalists attacked. I tried to protect Korra, but we were outnumbered. I was electrocuted. When I came to, the police had arrived. But Korra was gone. I'm sorry." Tarrlok explains.
Hearing this Koji growled in anger.
'No way all small group of Equalists could take Korra down on their own. He's hiding something.' Koji thought as Tarrlok stood up.
"Chief Saikhan, mobilize the entire police force. We have to find the Avatar." Tarrlok said as Koji hid to avoid being spotted by the police and Tarrlok.
'He's right there. Weak and vulnerable. Get in there and finish what you started.' The dark voice hisses.
"No. He's hiding something and nothing happens until I find out what." Koji mumbles.
Meanwhile, at Lin's place, Lin was laying in bed listening to the radio.
"We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast to bring you this special report. Late last night, Equalists attacked City Hall, subduing Councilman Tarrlok and capturing Avatar Korra. Details are still coming in, b—" Turning it off mid-broadcast, Lin slowly gets out of bed and puts on her metal bending police outfit as well as a long coat.
We soon find Asami laying in her cell when suddenly the door was ripped open.
Looking up she saw Lin standing in front of her.
"Hope you got enough beauty rest. Come on, I'm busting you out." Lin declares.
"Thanks I owe you one." Asami smiles.
In the other cell, Mako had his back to Bolin as Bolin faced the corner clearly trying to go to the bathroom.
"Are you done yet?" Mako asks.
"Cover your ears. I can't go with you listening." Bolin whines.
Sighing Mako covers his ears but once he does their cell door is ripped open.
"Guys." Asami smiles as she and Lin came in.
"Asami." Mako smiles but Bolin just yelps startled.
"A little privacy please!" Bolin blushes.
"I hate to break up this reunion but Korra's in trouble. Amon captured her." Lin declares shocking them.
"What? No way." Mako said in disbelief.
"What about Koji? He would never let her get captured." Asami said.
"I'm afraid Koji has been declared a wanted criminal by Tarrlok." Lin declares leaving her speechless.
"No…it' can't be." Asami said.
"Come on we have friends who need rescuing." Lin said as they ran out when she used her Metalbending on Bolin making him blush. "Your fly was down."
"Thanks for catching that." Bolin said embarrassed.
Meanwhile, at Tarrlok's secret hideout, Korra was banging against the metal cage she was trapped in trying to escape.
"Somebody! Help! Please!" Korra yells before sitting down tired from banging. "Please."
Frowning she had no idea what to do when Tenzin's voice echoed in her head.
"I urge you to meditate on these visions. I believe Aang's spirit is trying to tell you something." Tenzin said.
Sighing Korra took a meditative stance and tried to concentrate. When she did she saw a vision.
Flashback:
We see an adult Aang on the streets of Republic City.
"What are you doing here, Aang?" Turning around Aang saw an adult Toph and several metalbenders approach him. "I told you I have this under control."
"Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't get involved, but if what those victims said is true, we're not dealing with a normal criminal." Aang said.
"Fine. Come on Twinkle Toes." Toph gestures.
"Toph, I'm forty years old. You think you could stop with the nicknames?" Aang asks annoyed.
"Afraid not." Toph smirks.
"How does he put up with that?" Aang mumbles.
Entering a restaurant, they approach a table where a man with brown hair and water tribe clothing sat. This was Yakone.
"t's over! You're under arrest, Yakone!" Toph declares pointing at him.
"What is Republic City coming to? Used to be, a man could enjoy his lunch in peace." Yakone said when Toph launched a metal cable out yanking him up. "What's the big idea?"
"We have dozens of witnesses, Yakone. We know what you are." Aang said.
"Take him away." Toph orders as her metalbenders grabbed him.
"I've beaten every trumped-up charge you yahoos have brought against me. And I'll beat this one, too." Yakone declares as they escort him out.
Flashback End:
"Whoa." Korra smiles snapping out of it. "I finally connected with you Aang. But what are you trying to tell me? A way out of this box would be nice."
Sighing Korra took a deep breath before resuming mediation.
Back at Tenzin's office, Lin, Asami, Mako and Bolin enter to see Tenzin on the phone.
"I have to go. Call me back the minute you hear anything." Tenzin hangs up seeing them. "Lin what are you doing? You should be in the hospital and you three should be in prison."
"I figured you could use our help finding Korra and Koji." Lin said.
"Do you have any leads?" Mako asks.
"I've been on the phone all morning, but nothing yet." Tenzin said.
"We need Naga she could track Korra." Bolin said.
"I'm afraid her polar bear dog is missing as well." Tenzin asks.
"What about Koji? Any word on him?" Asami asks.
"That I can answer. Turn around." Tenzin points.
Gasping Asami turns to see Koji take off his hood as he walked in.
"Asami." Koji smiles.
"Koji!" Running to him, Asami pulls him into a big hug and kiss on the lips which he happily returns.
"Man some guys get all the luck." Bolin pouts.
"And you have the never to call me out for harboring criminals?" Lin smirks.
"Koji is not a criminal." Tenzin said.
"Neither are they." Lin said.
"Dude what happened to you? We heard you're a wanted criminal." Mako asks.
"Long story short Tarrlok threw a fit because I beat him up when he arrested you guys." Koji said.
"Ha nice." Lin smirks.
"Lin don't encourage him." Tenzin glares.
"Anyway after that, I escaped and somehow found my way back to Air Temple Island. I'm sorry I couldn't save you guys or Korra." Koji frowns.
"Hey we'll find her. I promise." Asami assures.
"At least I have you back, this is definitely a start." Koji smiles.
"Now how are we going to find Korra?" Mako asks.
"My guess is the Equalists are hiding underground in the maze of tunnels beneath the city." Lin assumes.
"Underground. Just like my dad's secret factory. Figures." Asami growls.
"Yeah, that makes sense! When those chi-blockers had me in their truck, it sounded like we drove into a tunnel." Bolin recalls.
"I might know where to start looking." Mako realized.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go." Koji said as they ran out.
"Wherever Amon is keeping Korra, I bet that's where my officers are too." Lin said.
"Let's bring them all home Lin." Tenzin nods.
Flying to an abandoned street on Oogi, the group lands.
"The truck with Bolin took off down this alley." Mako points as they found themselves at an intersection.
"Now which way?" Asami asks.
"This way smells familiar." Bolin sniffs the air.
Using her seismic sense, Lin felt around.
"There's a tunnel nearby." She declares.
Making their way to a tunnel, they see tracks heading in.
"Motorcycle tracks." Lin said as they made their way in and Mako and Koji made flames for them to see.
As they made their way in they see a few tunnels.
"Let's start with this one." Koji points.
"What if Korra's not down this tunnel?" Asami asks.
"Then we search the others. We're not stopping until we find her." Koji said.
Hearing this Asami couldn't help but wonder.
As they made their way through, Asami looks at Mako and Bolin.
"Koji is really committed to finding Korra." Asami said.
"We all are." Mako said.
"Yeah but he seems really worried." Asami points out.
"Well he is a White Lotus this is basically his job." Bolin said.
"Plus Korra and Koji have been friends since they were kids. Personally, I don't blame with for being on edge." Mako said.
"Yeah but…do you think he likes her more than a friend?" Asami asks.
"I don't even look under that rock, those two are too complicated to figure out." Mako said walking ahead.
"What do you think Bolin?" Asami asks.
"What? Koji and Korra? No way you're talking crazy." Bolin said trying to hide something.
"Bolin." Asami glares.
"Well there was this one time during the tournament, Korra seemed really angry at Koji. I don't know what happened, but that's the only time I remember them not acting like friends." Bolin said before joining the group.
"Oh really?" Asami said curious.
Suddenly her train of thought was interrupted by the sounds of motorcycle engines.
"Hide!" Lin said as they ran to avoid being spotted.
Racing in, two equalists approached a wall when one flipped a switch revealing a secret tunnel that closed after they went in.
Making their way to it, Lin felt around the wall until she felt the mechanism. Using her metalbending she opened the passageway.
Inside, we see a few trams lined up with a few Equalists passing through.
"That tram goes to the training camp." One said as a second pulled up.
"Everything was delivered to the prison, sir." Another equalist said as they walked away.
"That must be where they're keeping Korra." Tenzin whispers.
"We need to get down that tunnel." Lin whispers.
Waiting for the coast to be clear, they got on the tram and rode it down into the prison.
Down the corridor, a warning light went off as two Equalists turn to see the tram pull up, but to their confusion, no one was in it.
"It's empty." One said.
"Yeah I can see that." The second said sarcastically.
Suddenly 2 cables shot out and yanked them into the darkness.
Shortly after the two Equalists were tied up.
"You 2 keep an eye on them." Lin orders Asami and Bolin while the rest of them went upstairs.
Using her seismic sense, Lin felt the ground.
"My officers are inside." Lin declares.
"What about Korra?" Koji asks.
"I don't see her yet." Lin said.
Making their way inside they saw two equalists who spotted them.
Spinning their cables they threw only for Tenzin and Koji to release blasts of air knocking them into the wall.
"Did Koji just airbend?" Mako said looking at Lin surprised.
"Don't look at me I didn't know that." Lin said equally surprised.
As Mako and Koji tried to get info on Korra, Lin made her way to the cell where all her officers were.
"Chief Beifong?" One gasps as Lin bent the bars open.
"I'm too late. That monster already took your bending, didn't he?" Lin asks.
Frowning all of them nodded their hands.
"I'm sorry. Come on, lets get you out of here." Lin said as they followed her to freedom.
"We're only gonna say this one more time. Where is Korra?" Koji growls.
"We don't have the Avatar, and the Equalists didn't attack City Hall. Tarrlok's lying." He chokes.
"What?" Mako said letting go of him.
"I searched the entire prison Korra isn't here." Lin said as Koji let the Equalist go.
"This doesn't make sense. Why would Tarrlok make up a story about being attacked?" Mako asks when Koji's eyes widen realizing something.
"Because he has Korra!" Koji declares shocking them. "That son of a bitch! He lied to us. Again!"
"He fooled us all." Tenzin gasps.
Almost immediately a siren went forcing them to leave.
"Let's move people!" Bolin calls out as they ran onto the tram and made their escape.
Racing through the corridors, they turn to see another tram of Equalists was gaining on them.
Making his way to the back Bolin used his earthbending to cause boulders crash down making the Equalists drive into it and crash.
"Try to chi-block that, fools!" Bolin mocks.
"Uh Bolin you might want to look ahead." Mako points out.
Looking ahead they saw an army of Equalists along with Amon's lieutenant waiting for them at the end.
Seeing that they needed a new path Lin metalbent a rail off the ceiling.
"Hang on!" Lin yells.
As the tram rides the rails upwards Lin earthbends a hole upwards allowing them to escape.
Back in the mountains, we see Korra meditating again.
Flashback:
At Yakone's trial we see an adult Sokka among the judges while Aang sat right behind Yakone.
"Yakone has ruled Republic City's criminal empire for years. Yet he has always managed to stay out of the law's reach, until now. You will hear testimony, from dozens of his victims, and they will tell you, Yakone has maintained his grip on the underworld by using an ability that has been illegal for decades. Bloodbending." The Prosecution attorney declares making everyone gasp.
"The prosecution's entire case is built upon the make-believe notion that my client is able to bloodbend at will, at any time on any day. I remind the council that bloodbending is an incredibly rare skill and it can only be performed during a full moon. Yet, the witnesses will claim that my client used bloodbending at every other time except during a full moon. It would be a mockery of justice to convict a man of a crime that is impossible to commit." The Defending attorney counters.
Soon the jury came back with their verdict.
"Councilman Sokka will now deliver the verdict." The baliff declares as Sokka stood.
"In my years, I have encountered people born with rare and unique bending abilities. Why, I once bested a man with my trusty boomerang who was able to firebend with his mind. Why even metalbending and Shadowbending were considered impossible for all of history until our esteemed Chief of Police Beifong and my good friend Ren, singlehandedly developed these skills. The overwhelming amount of testimony and evidence has convinced this council that Yakone is one of these unique benders and he exploited his ability to commit these heinous crimes. We find Yakone guilty of all charges and sentence him to life in prison." Sokka declares banging his gavel and making it official.
Seeing that his secret was out, Yakone stood and by just bulging his eyes he began bloodbending several people in the room including Sokka, Toph and Aang.
Clearly he wasn't going down without a fight.
Flashback End:
Back at the City Council, we see Tenzin approach the council and Saikhan while Lin, Asami, Bolin and Mako stood around Koji for protection.
"Thank you all for meeting us on such short notice." Tenzin said.
"Chief." Lin glares.
"Lin." Saikhan glares back.
"Have you news of Avatar Korra?" Tarrlok said entering the room but when he noticed Koji he flinches. "You! Saikhan arrest that boy!"
Saikhan was about to make a move when Lin grabs his arm.
"Don't even think about it. That boy is as much a criminal as I am." Lin said.
"He attacked me." Tarrlok reminds.
"And you deserved it." Koji glares.
"We know the truth Tarrlok. You kidnapped Korra." Tenzin declares pointing at him.
"I am shocked you would accuse me of such an evil act! I already explained: Equalists attacked us and took her!" Tarrlok defends.
"But there weren't any chi-blockers. You planted evidence yourself." Koji accuses.
"That is a ridiculous accusation. Clearly this boy is mental." Tarrlok deflects.
"No he isn't." Looking up they saw the Council Page hiding behind a pillar. "He took her! I was here when Avatar Korra arrived last night, but Councilman Tarrlok ordered me to leave. I was on my way out when I saw Tarrlok bring her down to the garage."
"That is nonsense! Everyone knows you're nothing but a squeaky-voiced liar!" Tarrlok points making him flinch.
"Why didn't say anything earlier?" Lin asks.
"I was terrified to say anything because…because Tarrlok is a bloodbender! He bloodbent Avatar Korra and kidnapped her!" He declares shocking everyone.
Hearing this Koji glares at Tarrlok.
"Give me one reason I shouldn't tear you apart." Koji growls wanting to finish what he started.
"Don't make it worse for yourself. Tell us where you have Korra." Tenzin said as he, Koji and Lin took stances.
Seeing that it was over for him, Tarrlok used his bloodbending on everyone until they were knocked unconscious before making his escape.
By the time they all woke up Tarrlok was gone.
"Ugh my head." Koji groans waking up.
"Wake up." Lin said smacking Tenzin awake.
"Man! I had this awful dream that Korra was taken by this evil bloodbender. So weird." Bolin said.
"That wasn't a dream Bolin that really happened." Asami said.
"Are you serious? Where is he?" Bolin asks looking around.
"Tarrlok is long gone. I'll alert the whole force." Saikhan said.
"While you're at it, why don't you take down all wanted posters for Koji too." Lin points.
Growling Saikhan knew he had to.
"Thanks Lin." Koji said.
"Don't get too excited. We need to find Tarrlok and fast." Lin said.
"If we hurry we can find him." Tenzin agrees.
"Are you okay?" Koji asks helping Asami up.
"I should be asking you that. What's going on with you? I know Korra is your best friend but you've been on edge lately?" Asami asks.
"I know and I'm sorry. So many things are happening so fast and it's hard to process. If you're willing to wait just a little longer until we find Korra then you and I can sit down and talk." Koji offers.
"I'm going to hold you to that. I hope you realize that." Asami said.
"I know." Koji nods.
"Hey lovebirds! Less talking more walking!" Lin said as they followed them out the door.
Back with Korra she was seeing the last of the vision Aang was showing her.
Flashback:
In the trial, Yakone bloodbent Toph towards him forcing her to unlock his cuffs.
With his hands freed Yakone used his bending on everyone.
Turning around he saw Aang struggling to reach him.
"Yakone…you won't get away with this." Aang cringed.
"Republic City's mine, Avatar. I'll be back one day to claim it." Yakone declares bloodbending Aang and throwing him into the stairs before making his escape.
Glowing brightly for a few seconds Aang snaps out of it and follows Yakone on an air scooter.
Racing down the streets, Yakone steered a cart pulled by an Ostrich horse but Aang gained on him with ease.
Firing a blade of air, Aang cut the ropes separating Yakone from his animal.
As the compartment crashed, Aang landed nearby ready to bring Yakone to justice.
Bursting out Yakone bloodbent Aang making him drop to the ground
"This time I'm gonna put you to sleep for good!" Yakone declares making Aang cringe in agony. "You really thought I was gonna let you lock me up? I had a plan ready for my escape."
"Oh yeah Yakone…well so did I." Aang growls.
"What are you babbling about?" Yakone glares.
"I asked an old friend to stop by." Aang smirks.
Suddenly a round object flew in and smacks into Yakone knocking him to the ground.
As the object bounced off the streets it flew back into a figure's hand revealing it to be a shield with all 4 nation symbols carved on it.
Yakone struggled to get up when suddenly multiple shadows grabbed his arms trapping.
"M-My body? What's happening?" Yakone grow.s
"It's over Yakone." A male voice calls out.
Walking out of the shadows an adult Ren glared him down.
"About time you showed up." Aang smiles.
"The Shadowbender." Yakone was about use his bloodbending on him when a 3rd figure leaped in and did a series of quick jabs making Yakone drop to his knees.
"Sorry but no one bloodbends my man." An adult Ty Lee said.
Yakone tried to use his bending but it wouldn't work.
"You can't bloodbend your way out of this one." Ren said helping Aang up.
"Thanks buddy." Aang smiles at his friends before turning to Yakone.
Watching in horror, Yakone saw Aang press his fingers to his head and chest.
"I'm taking away your bending, for good." Aang declares glowing bright and taking away Yakone's bending. "It's over."
Flashback End:
Snapping out of it, Korra took a deep breath.
"Aang…this whole time you were trying to warn me about Tarrlok." Korra realized when she heard a door open upstairs.
"My life is a disaster now, thanks to you." Tarrlok said walking in.
"So your little Bloodbending secret is out?" Korra smirks making Tarrlok growl frustrated. "And I know how you Bloodbent me without a full moon. You're Yakone's son."
"I was his son, but in order to win Republic City, I had to become someone else. My father failed because he tried to rule the city from its rotten underbelly. My plan was perfect. I was to be the city's savior. But you and Koji, you both ruined everything!" Tarrlok snaps.
"Tarrlok, the jig is up and you have nowhere to go." Korra said.
"Oh no. No, I'll escape and start a new life. And you're coming as my hostage." Tarrlok said making his way back up the stairs.
"You'll never get away with this!" Korra yells banging on the box.
As Tarrlok made his way to the top of the stairs his eyes widen to see Amon, his Lieutenant and several Equalists at his side.
"Amon." Tarrlok gasps getting Korra's attention.
"It is time for you to be equalized." Amon declares as his Equalists and Lieutenant take fighting stances.
"You fool. You've never faced bending like mine." Tarrlok declares using his bloodbending making all of Amon's men drop to the floor but to his confusion, Amon was still standing.
Tarrlok tries again and while Amon showed signs of hesitation, he kept moving toward him.
"What? What are you?" Tarrlok gasps.
"I am the solution." Amon declares before grabbing Tarrlok and taking his bending away.
As Tarrlok's scream echoes through the building Korra looked up in disbelief knowing what that scream meant.
With his bending gone, Amon's men stood up while he grabbed Tarrlok.
"I'll take care of him. You four retrieve the Avatar. Do not underestimate her. Electrocute the box to knock her out before you open it." Amon orders.
Hearing this Korra gasps knowing she had to think of something fast.
"My pleasure." The Lieutenant said as they made their way down.
Looking around Korra noticed the bars on the roof of the box and gets an idea.
"It's payback time." Taking out his batons, the Lieutenant stabs the box causing electricity to course through it and Korra's screams.
But inside Korra was faking it. Using one of her armbands, Korra dangled from the bars so the electric attack didn't even touch her.
When the attack stops the Lieutenant turns to the other Equalists.
"Open the box." He orders.
Slowly opening the door they saw Korra laying on the ground appearing to be unconscious.
"Tie her up." However just as they were about to Korra swung her foot up blasting them with fire and forcing them to jump back.
Moving out of the box, Korra slams her first down and earthbends all of them out of the way.
Making her escape, Korra runs outside to see Amon loading Tarrlok into the back of a truck.
Seeing her, Amon was about to move in when Korra bends shards of ice forcing him to dodge.
Jumping down the snowy cliff, Korra rode down the hill just as Amon and his men stopped at the edge.
"I thought I told you not to underestimate her." Amon scolds.
Using her waterbending to snowboard down the hill, she trips on a tree root and tumbles down the hill and lands in the snow.
A few minutes later, Naga appears revealing she was looking for Korra this whole time.
Running to her owner, Naga licks Korra's face waking her up.
"Naga. You came looking for me. Good girl." Korra smiles weakly.
Mustering up whatever strength she had left Korra climbed onto Naga.
That night in Republic City, everyone was on the lookout for Korra when they heard a howl.
"That sounded like Naga!" Mako gasps.
Looking around they saw said Polar Bear dog walking down the street.
Landing nearby they all ran over to see she was okay.
"Korra! Oh thank goodness!" Tenzin smiles.
"Where's Tarrlok? How did you get away?" Lin asks.
"Let's get her back to Air Temple Island and fast." Koji suggests.
Nodding he and Tenzin picked Korra up and brought her to the bison.
"Is this how you felt when Jinora, Ikki and Meelo found me?" Koji asks.
"Yes it was." Tenzin nods as Koji set her down.
"I was worried about you." Korra said weakly.
"That's my line and you know it." Koji smirks.
Chuckling weakly, Korra closes her eyes and falls to sleep as they headed back hoping that this long day could finally end.
