Author's Note: APOLOGIES for disappearing AGAIN. Community College online classes, harvest, COVID-19, and the protests of George Floyd were huge obstacles in my way again. But I'm back with another chapter. Enjoy!

Tips to survive the COVID-19:

For people with medical conditions and older adults

Older adults and people of any age with medical conditions like lung disease, heart disease, or diabetes are at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 and should seek care as soon as symptoms start.

Stay home except to get medical care.

People who are mildly ill are able to isolate at home. Rest, stay hydrated and monitor your systems carefully. If your symptoms get worse, seek medical care. Call before you go to prevent others from being exposed.

Separate yourself from other people in your home.

Stay in a specific room away from others and use a separate bathroom if you can. Do not share personal household items. Wear a mask and maintain 6 ft. distance if you need to interact with others.

Wash your hands often & avoid touching your face.

Wash frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, and before eating or preparing soap and water aren't available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your face.

Designate someone to clean high-touch surfaces every day.

Clean counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, phones, keyboards and bedside tables. Use diluted bleach solutions (4 teaspoons per quart of water), alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol or most common EPA - registered household disinfectants.

Chapter 16: The Ambush

"Everyone, everyone! Quiet down!" Mr. Garcia spoke to the high school students, who were on the bleachers wondering why they were summoned during 3rd period.

"As you are not aware, there has been a slew of murders going on in this city," the principal went on to speak.

The students were horrified! MURDER? Then the students began buzzing to each other about it.

"Quiet down again," Mr. Garcia spoke up again. "It may be for a specified purpose or it might be random attacks of death, so I called you all here to let you know that there is a killer on the loose, so you are to follow these orders as follow: Rule number one! Stay. In. Groups. Rule number two! Don't go near alleyways or corners around nighttime. It's the dangerous target for killers and other offenders. Rule number three! Be on the lookout for ANY strange activity, even in the slightest possible. Question time, go!"

And that moment on, one question to another. One student said it might be someone in the school, since the violent, aggressive students talk about violence and death, another student suggested someone suggested it might be P.E.A.C.E, because of the news about lately that's caught everyone's attention, and so on, so forth.

"You sure it might be Billie? It sounds like her?" Charlotte asked to Ellen.

"Absolutely sure," Ellen replied.

"Yeah, let's not ask Billie directly, but maybe...you know..."

"Spy on her?"

"Yeah. Good idea! Let's go do that!"

So Ellen and Charlotte decided to spy on Billie, but first, they decided to pick up Nate. And on the way home, Ellen asked Nate if he had any suspicion about Billie, but he said didn't had any issue with the house sitter.

So Ellen and Charlotte decided to get more clues by going to the mall to get clues so they enter Cinnabon, where each got an individual greet by Wendy the waitress.

"Welcome to Cinnabon. Would you like an Cinnabon?" The waitress greeted.

"Um...I'm good, but thanks anyway," Ellen said politely.

"Where shall we sit?" Charlotte asked.

"Over here."

So the two friends sat at a table and begin piecing two and two together on Billie by researching on murders of P.E.A.C.E members. Only issue? Wendy kept bugging the duo by repeating the same question over and over:

"Would you like an Cinnabon?"

"No thanks," Ellen replied.

"Would you like an Cinnabon?"

"No."

"Would you like an Cinnabon?"

Even Ellen was growing impatient. So was Charlotte.

"No thank you," Ellen hissed politely.

"You look ready to snap," Charlotte observed her friend's facial expression.

"I'm about to if doesn't leave us alone," Ellen replied.

"Would you like an Cinnabon?"

"..."

"Would you like an Cinnabon?"

"..."

"Why haven't you snapped yet?" Charlotte gently asked her friend.

"Get your things in case if we do get kicked out," Ellen quietly replied to her friend.

Charlotte nodded and got her things ready as well as Ellen's.

"Would you like an Cinnabon?"

"OKAY, enough! I get it! WE get it! But I'm trying to stay on a diet right now in case if you aren't noticing! Geez..." Ellen snapped.

The waitress said nothing and about five seconds later...

"...and you two can longer set foot inside this store again!" Wendy sounded super aggressive and began to hustle the two out of Cinnabon.

"Wait wait wait! I'm sorry! I'M SORRY!" Ellen pleaded to the waitress.

Even Charlotte tried to apologize.

"Yeah! What she said!"

But their apologies fell on deaf ears as the two friends got kicked out of Cinnabon.

Little did they knew that Billie observed the whole thing and immediately recognized the waitress as one of the P.E.A.C.E members and went inside the store.

"Welcome to Cinnabon. Would you like an Cinnabon?" Wendy greeted Billie, not recognizing who the customer really is.

Billie played along.

"Yes please. And one more thing..." She replied before slowly pulling a small unrecognizable knife from behind.

"Get me a latte and..."

A few seconds later, you probably would have guessed what happened next.

"I saw the whole thing. You should've not have dropped the soap like that," Billie warned then...

"ANOTHER PEACE MEMBER KILLED BY UNKNOWN ASSASSIN" Eve read out loud the newspaper to her allies, whom contained of Kenny Stowton, Carl Gallagher, and Holden Matthews.

"Wow, first you face a near death experience, then an emergency landing to Kansas, now..." Kenny reached for the papers and looked at it then said:

"A P.E.A.C.E dead a thousand cuts!"

"Yuck!" Holden replied, leaning on his chair, sipping coffee.

"We are going to have to speed this up a notch now if we are going to catch Eve in time" Kenny declared.

"Second that," Eve replied.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The group looked over at the computer which was beeping for some reason. "Oh god," Eve began to freak out.

"The P.E.A.C.E hideout is in Maine," Carl slightly groaned, knowing what is going to have to be accomplished now.

"We head to Maine," Eve declared.

A week later...

Ruby allowed the soft wind to brush her hair for her before straightened her hair to a ponytail.

Ruby was growing more and more depressed than ever. She really missed Nate now. The thought of him made her sad and close to crying. Her friends kept assuring but not even convincing did any good.

"Hey Ruby!" Randy called for his friend.

"Coming!" Ruby called back. She considered Randy as her friend now, but she insisted that her heart belonged to Nate.

It was also evening with the sun going down quickly, so Ruby began to catch up to her friends when...

"Nice evening isn't it?" A male voice said.

Everyone turned their heads to the source of the voice.

It was Nolan.

Dee Dee's eyes narrowed instantly.

"What do you want?"

"Just a talk, that's all," Nolan replied.

"You think I'm going to believe in what you have to say to me?"

"I promise...just this one time...I'll be honest with you, Ms Holloway. Whether you choose to believe is up to you."

The whole was suspicious. They didn't expect Nolan to have a talk like this. But they decided in better judgement to listen.

"Alright, let's hear it," Dee Dee responded.

"First off, I want to apologize," Nolan began.

"For what? Treating us like crap even though we are permanent members of Jefferson Middle School now that we are in 7th grade now? Or all the time when you see us at games or all the times of our rivalry?" Francis asked.

"I'll take all of the above. That's for starters," Nolan replied.

"Apology accepted then. Is that all or is there more you want to spill your guts on?"

"More."

"Look, Nolan. If you're asking for a friendship...not really gonna happen, it's because all the times your peers and classmates disrespected us 24/7, so.." Teddy responded to Nolan.

"If that's all, please do us a favor and leave us alone," Dee Dee jumped back in on the conversation.

"Not quite, just one more thing..." Nolan began again.

Everyone prepared for what Nolan had to say.

"Is it true that Teddy is pining for Nina Watson?"

Everyone got confused then Teddy stepped in.

"Look if you want a friendly rivalry to see who will win Nina's affections instead of an aggressive fight, I'm all in for it."

"Really?" Nolan asked while his hand tugged his side of his coat revealing a...

Francis' eyes widened quickly.

"Is that...?"

Nolan smiled and nodded.

"I'm not alone either."

Nolan's friends arrive too with handguns drawn.

"What is this?" Randy asked in outrage.

"Retribution," said a female voice.

It was Nina.

"Nina why are you siding with them on this? What's the deal?" Teddy asked in heartbreak.

"I wouldn't call me Nina anymore" Nina before slightly tugging her coat open to reveal her signature clothing.

"GINA?" Teddy's eyes widened now.

"In the flesh," Gina replied before turning to Nolan and kissing him full fair and square on the lips.

Dee Dee looked grossed out and Ruby looked ready to vomit.

"You want to go the easy way or the hard way?" Gina asked after kissing Nolan,

Before a reply could come, a whistle came along... then a cliffhanger.

And the audience reading this chapter groaned loudly.

Thank god! Sorry for the wait! Took forever but hey! Sorry for the cliffhanger too, wanted to end soon as possible instead taking until Christmas 2073 to write what happens next.

Huge shout out to those who supported me on making this chapter.

Guest from June 22: Ellen and Zoe try to find a convenient place at the mall to do research of their investigation on "Billie" so they enter Cinnabon, where each got an individual greet by Wendy:Welcome to Cinnabon, Would you like an Cinnabon", however despite having luck of new findings, the duo had a lot of difficulty concentrating. Ellen got frustrated of Wendy's repeated greeting that she immediately loses her cool. Wendy, being feisty, has Ellen and Zoe personally banned from Cinnabon despite apologetic pleas.

Guest from March 11: I like seeing a pep rally going on in Ellen's school.

Guest from March 5: Dang, now Teddy is falling for the wrong girl, hope Gina doesn't pull off in hurting anyone else too quick.

Guest from January 23: From the guest who had requested the idea of the character from " Beyond" and eve getting stuck in Kansas"Forget to mention one thing, eve should end up meeting holden there and later will be shock when she discovers his abilities(and try effortless in convincing him to help her). For an idea any of the chapters coming up, Eve goes on the Spirit Airline plane with her crew, she gets upset and almost got banned from it when the plane makes an emergency landing to probably a town in Kansas!

Guest from January 3: I know everyone had requested a few tv show characters in the story, which is why im going to drop in one from the Freeform show Beyond, Holden Matthew(possessed with different kinds of telekinesis) to be also on Eve's team later on.

Guest from Dec 11, 2019: I'd like to see the next chapter soon going on Eve setting up a new tight team( including but not limited to Kenny, probably a new O.C and maybe someone else, like Carl G. who might join soon) and makes up a first theory which may actually be wrong obviously; that Villanelle might be "working" with P.E.A.C.E(but the victims are unidentified peace assassins so eve assumes they work for a company). If ya like it, please delete it for no spoilers. GL.

Guest from Dec 4, 2019: I like to see Carl Gallagher from Shameless(US) added in the plot, maybe he should join eve's team.

Anyway done with the chapter! Stay safe y'all! And what would you like me to incorporate next in the next chapter.

Toodles! :)
