Neon on chapter 7 May 18, 2021: I uh... So Nate randomly confesses love to Randy and we never talk about it again?
My response is that it was meant to be a reference to the Blue Brothers actually, sorry that I should have made myself clearer on that joke. PS: see my earlier chapters on where my ships stand.
Neon on chapter 3 May 18, 2021: I take back what I said on chapter 3 when I gave this 4/10, this is great! :) and Guest on chapter 2: May 18 Grammar in the first bit was not the best, also, isn't this just Big Nate: Flips Out minus uncle pedro? I'd say 4/10.
My response is that yeah it was meant to be a throwback to Flips Out, sorry again, but thanks for the reviews. :)

Tips to survive the COVID-19:
For people with medical conditions and older adults
Older adults and people of any age with medical conditions like lung disease, heart disease, or diabetes are at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 and should seek care as soon as symptoms start.
Stay home except to get medical care.
People who are mildly ill are able to isolate at home. Rest, stay hydrated and monitor your systems carefully. If your symptoms get worse, seek medical care. Call before you go to prevent others from being exposed.
Separate yourself from other people in your home.
Stay in a specific room away from others and use a separate bathroom if you can. Do not share personal household items. Wear a mask and maintain 6 ft. distance if you need to interact with others.
Wash your hands often & avoid touching your face.
Wash frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, and before eating or preparing soap and water aren't available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your face.
Designate someone to clean high-touch surfaces every day.
Clean counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, phones, keyboards and bedside tables. Use diluted bleach solutions (4 teaspoons per quart of water), alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol or most common EPA - registered household disinfectants.
Chapter 19: A short lived reunion turned ambush
As if the helicopter that Eve and her allies were riding on wasn't going fast enough, she had to bring Artur all the way from Belarus at Dee Dee's request, it took SO LONG to FINALLY reach California no time flat.
And while everyone was heading to California, everyone was taking a trip down memory lane.
Eve thought about Villanelle on how she saw her as her lover and ally of sorts and how she would at least forgive Villanelle for shooting Eve in the back. She also thought of her husband Niko, who was (or is STILL) bitter at her for her affair with Villanelle and the last thing he said to her was "piss off forever."
Holden thought about all the times he had with his girlfriend Willa Frost, their ups and downs, especially when it was revealed he was cutting her out of his life (unintentionally):
"The other night, when we were together...it wasn't your first time, was it? You know, you could've just told me. That would have been the normal thing to do!" Willa's words echoed in Holden's mind, as he wished so much he could apologize to her for everything he's done to her so far.
Carl thought about being a father to his twin children on how he found out embryos were used to make him the father of two kids and how he was split between Kelly (his ex-girlfriend) and Anne (his coworker).
Teddy thought about how he met Nate in 6th grade and how they both got detention together for laughing at another student's misfortune during a science project.
Francis thought about he and Nate first became best friends in kindergarten at naptime. When Francis began snoring, Nate hit him on the head with his Thomas the Tank Engine lunchbox, and that is how they became friends.
Chad thought about how Nate made Chad his sidekick in the Ultra-Nate comics and helped him get into a relationship with his crush Maya.
Dee Dee thought Nate thought of her as a nuisance at first, but after winning the Ultimate Snowdown, he gain respect for her and became his friend.
Jenny thought about Nate as she HATED him so much for not giving up the fact that Nate had a crush on her his whole life, but gave up, knowing the truth that she hated him.
Artur thought about Nate as he was a good friend (despite Nate used to hate him for being too good at everything) and hoped nothing would happen to him.
Randy thought about Nate as he was his worst enemy EVER, but after everything they have been through together, they were friends.
Breckenridge thought about Nate as he used to be a bully back then, but became a friend after helping him win the scavenger hunt.
Maya thought about Nate as he helped her and Chad win the three legged race and got together with Chad in a relationship.
Ruby thought of Nate so much she remembered how she first met him while she was moving in and noticed he had the biggest blush on his face that she knew he would be the perfect boyfriend after telling Dee Dee how much she liked him for all his good qualities and how she (unintentionally) got him into trouble but he forgave her soon after and they became the hottest couple ever...until Nate HAD to move and she told him she planned to find him one day.
And that day was going to happen sooner or later now she was going to see him again...
"We're here!" Eve announced from the driver's seat.
"Well, let's hope Gina hasn't got to Nate first..." Francis said with a worried tone voice of his.
"Agreed," Teddy chimed in.
Later...
Villanelle went on walk in the park in deep thought about her encounter with Eve. Did she meant it? She would find Villanelle? Maybe. All that Villanelle thought of was Eve and Eve only. Too much! She needed a break of fresh air. And that's what she did.
But while Villanelle was walking, she ran into a familiar face...
Konstantin Vasiliev, Villanelle's handler. She has a kind of father-daughter relationship punctuated by occasional violence. Then the two embraced each other in a great big hug.
And before the conversation can even begin, Eve and her allies show up.
"Eve," Villanelle gasped excitedly then rushed for Eve for a tight hug. And she did. Eve was scared at first, thinking that Villanelle was gonna kill her, but the awkward hug made her relax.
"I missed you...bestie!" Villanelle said gleefully, noticing that their were children present.
"May I gently remind you that you shot me in the back which nicked my lungs?" Eve asked gently.
"Oh...that...about that..." Villanelle began, but for the first time ever, she was at lost of words.
"And the killings going on here in California? You could go to jail forever by this point..." Eve continued.
"Actually, I'm not with PEACE," Villanelle confessed sincerely, feeling emotions for the first time ever.
"What?" Holden asked in confusion.
"I'm more of a... shall we say...rogue by this point?" Villanelle explained.
Then Villanelle went to explain everything that was happening here in California and all the connections that PEACE has. She also explained how one day, she discover the same feeling of emotions that she had for Eve while spying on a man and his family.
"Which family?" Eve asked.
"The Wrights."
Everyone froze. The Wrights? It's all coming together now! Wait! Does Martin know? Or Ellen? Or Nate? Do they know?
That's when Villanelle revealed she overheard P.E.A.C.E talking about Nate, so the recent killings were actually her taking down several PEACE members.
"So... with now you got what you wanted, I guess we're...done?" Carl asked bluntly.
"Kid... what do you think you're doing?" Holden asked in a warning tone.
"I thought this is the 'mission accomplished' moment, plus I'm going to be an unprepared parent so..." Carl turned to Eve with the look of "fork it over."
Villanelle knew where this was already heading so instead of handing Carl the money, she pulled out her GUN with the intent of shooting Carl in front of everyone at large.
"NO!" Holden screamed, flexing his hand of telekinesis at Villanelle, throwing her down to the ground, causing Villanelle to immediately burst into tears.
Eve rushed to Villanelle's side to console her and looked up at Holden with a warning look.
"Look, I was trying to keep anyone from getting killed, and if anyone's to blame..." Holden began.
Then everyone turned and looked at Carl as the answer to Holden's defense.
Carl looked really guilty then tried to leave but Holden stopped him quickly.
"You want your life to turn into a living hell? I can arrange that you know," Holden whispered in an warning tone again.
"Sorry."
"Start contributing more to our mission, and MAYBE I'll make life a peaceful paradise for you."
And the entire time Francis and the entire gang was completely quiet, not wanted to be a part of the fight.
Yup, since winter break ended, everyone kept talking about how everyone's week went, and Nate's break was NO exception (you know, because of the last chapter? Never mind.) Anyway, the students were yapping on how their winter break was during hall time, when Nate began to see a familiar looking face in the crowd, then Nate looked around and some strange looking strangers.
"Hey...is anyone else noticing?" Nate asked a little loud for his friends to hear. And they saw what Nate was talking was talking about.
And everyone was noticing too and everything was growing audio quiet as something was about to happen.
And it did.
"Remember me?" said a female voice.
And Nate got a good look at a familiar especially quickly.
It was none other than Gina Hemphill-Toms.
"Let Nate have it," Gina ordered, pointing at Nate.
"What?" asked a student in shock.
Then all the strangers whipped out their weapons immediately and pointed them at Nate, whose eyes widened in fear everybody began screaming and running for the nearest exists, others for classroom closets for shelter. Then suddenly, without Nate not knowing what's really going on, threw his arms, causing all the strangers and Gina to be thrown all over the place.
Silence flooded the area. Then Samuel and the rest of the crew looked at Nate in surprise.
"HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" DJ asked in surprise and shock.
Nate shrugged. "I have no idea."
"I'm already seeing Ultra-Nate coming off the pages and into reality!" Samuel exclaimed in excitement.
"But we need to move. Gina's already getting up!" Rebecca pointed to Gina, who was slowly rising like a lifeless zombie along with her accomplices.
"Whatever you did, don't stop!" DJ cried out in reply.
And Nate did exactly what he did, not knowing what powers he just received and used them against Gina again and everyone ran for their lives out of the school with an immediate pursuit already in motion.
Little did Nate, Samuel, and DJ knew that Gina managed to catch up to Rebecca and swooped down along with her comrades and caught her.
"Let me go!" Rebecca shouted as she struggled in Gina's grasp.
"No way. Not a chance. You could come in handy..." Gina replied with an evil grin on her face.
As soon as Nate, Samuel, and DJ ran from the school to a safe distance, Nate quickly spotted Ellen.
"Ellen!"
"Nate!" Ellen replied in relief and ran towards her brother and wrapped him in a big hug.
"Thank goodness you found us!" Samuel greets Ellen with relief.
"I did!...Where's Rebecca?" Ellen asked in confusion.
"Got snatched by Gina and her crew," DJ replied with a worried tone.
"Oh no..."
"How'd you even find us?" Nate asked, gently loosening the tight hug Ellen was giving him.
Ellen moved out of the way and gestured to where she was pointing at. Or rather WHO she was pointing at.
And it was...
"Guys?" Nate asks in surprise, or you might as well say shock.
"NATE!" Francis, Teddy, Chad, Dee Dee, Randy, Jenny, Artur, Breckenridge, Maya, and Ruby exclaimed at the same time and ran for their best friend and gave him a great big hug.
Ruby was very happy to see Nate and she immediately flooded Nate with kisses all over his face and lips, much to Nate's surprise.
"I...I told you that... I would find you!" Ruby exclaimed and panted at the same time.
"I would find you too," Nate said, lovestruck by all the kisses he just gotten.
"Was it her?" Eve asked.
Nate gave Eve a puzzled look.
"Who are you? And who is 'her?'"
"Eve Polastri. And it was Gina?"
Nate froze, knowing who Eve was talking about.
"I know it's probably the last person you want to talk about, but we know about Gina and her partnership with PEACE," Eve explained.
"We?"
"Holden Matthews, Carl Gallagher and Billie Morgan," Eve responded.
"Oh."
"So um..." Samuel began as all eyes fell onto Samuel. "...can someone explain to me what just happened today?"
"It appears that Gina has found Nate and was trying to kill him. That was her goal," Eve replied.
"Oh no..."
"But did you see how Nate took out Gina and her crew?" That was awesome! Can you imagine Ultra-Nate coming off the pages and..." DJ exclaimed.
Holden raised his hand as if he were to confess something.
"That was actually me getting you guys out of danger."
"But one of our friends was captured," Nate responded worryingly.
"Uh oh. We better explain everything to the authorities." Carl said. And everyone went off to the police station, but little did anyone notice was that Gina snuck up to Ruby and caught her quietly without making a sound.
And explaining they did as the entire group explained everything (minus Nate getting super powers). The police kept scratching their heads at times, but they took the story seriously and said they will look into Gina, who, by this point is a fugitive from the law.
And as soon as everyone was done explaining and left the police station and waited outside for Martin to come get Nate and Ellen.
"I can see Nate and Holden now. Teaming up in Ultra-Nate comics, just imagine what the comics would be like." DJ continued on in excitement.
"I know, right?" Randy said.
Then DJ looked at Samuel and Dee Dee talking.
"So you work out a lot?"
"I do."
"Since we're both now in person, maybe we'll get to know each other."
"Good idea."
Then Villanelle tried to tell her story AGAIN to Eve but she wasn't having of Villanelle's annoyance.
"What are trying to do now?" Eve asked.
"Nothing," Villanelle responded firmly.
Then right then and there, the two went back and forth fighting with everyone watching.
Then a phone went off.
It was Carl's phone.
"Was that a text message going off?" Nate asked.
"Might be. Let me look."
And Carl did. And his eyes were like dinner plates when he saw the text.
"What?" Teddy asks in concern.
"This is for Villanelle, Eve, Nate, Holden... and for me!?" Carl exclaimed in shock.
"What does it say?" Francis asked.
"Here," Carl replied showing everyone the message from none other that Gina and PEACE:
-Villanelle, Eve, Nate, Holden and Carl, can I have your attention please?
You should know by now that nowhere is safe. We were so eager to get back at you for what you have done to us. And now, I have the people most closest to you and they are Ruby, Rebecca, and Willa. Fascinating that your tragic and troubling pasts have came back to haunt you and willing to bring danger to all who DARE to follow you.
Do you want to see them alive again? Then meet us in a secret location that we will give you. Go there, alone. Bring NO BACK UP or prepare to see the ones closest to you suck their last few breaths.

PS: you have 48 hours to comply.
Everyone froze. Gina now has Ruby too? And Nate couldn't stop worrying from then on.
It was almost like the villains were going to win this time around.
And Gina didn't need to make herself any clear than she was now.
And the only thing that Nate could do... was bury his hands in his face. And weep.

And AppalledWriter on March 3-4, 2021: Hi, so I know it's been probably a long time about the last time we've chatted but it's good to see you active again. I didn't added this in the review but I've got a couple of ideas for one or two chapters, so this will probably be a real long DM. First of all, I'm also a big fan on "Killing Eve" aside from Big Nate so even though i still kind of picture Eve and Villanelle as a dynamic couple, which i'll always do, for the sake of the story purpose, I kinda think Villanelle should also develop feelings for Martin(it's better for this point for Eve and Villanelle to be allies later on). In the third season of the show, part of the storyline was to explore on what other emotions that Villanelle was able to at least feel and what really trigger them. In at least the show's theory, Villanelle always had difficulty connecting with men, considering that he was never close to any guy since her father died(at least who she thought was her dad) so I'd figure maybe she'd maybe rediscover that feeling. So anyway, here's some suggestions that would be real interesting to see: So while everyone heads over to California, each of the characters should have like their reflection of their life lately; Eve thinks about Villanelle and Niko, Holden gets flashbacks of the good times with Willa, along with the more rough intense times they had( see season 2 of episode 6: BedPost to see what I'm talking about), Carl thinks back to how he found out about his kids and remain unsure of his decision. And also in the process, since it's seemed that Ellen finally knows about P.E.A.C.E, i got no doubt that Nate or his dad won't believe it and say she's traumatized. Also maybe next up in like the other chapter, Villanelle goes for a walk, runs into Konstantin. Before he starts talking, Villanelle interrupts him when Eve and her allies appear and runs to them. Eve might panic, thinking that Villanelle was gonna kill her until Villanelle pulls her to a hug, which would stop awkwardly when Villanelle says that the hug was sad until Eve reminded her that she shot her and the bullet almost nicked her lungs and confronts Villanelle of her recent killings in California, saying she should have her in prison until Villanelle would clarify that she's not with P.E.A.C.E, admitting she is rogue and explains everything, including how one day, she discover the same feeling that she had for Eve while spying on a man and his family(actually Martin) and reveals she overheard P.E.A.C.E talking about Nate(which Eve already knows by now) so the recent killing were actually her taking down several P.E.A.C.E. Carl would bluntly demand Eve for the money and Villanelle, in her typical fashion, decide to personally give Carl the money but instead pull out her guns and attempt to shoot him but Holden flex out his hand, throwing Villanelle off the ground leaving her surprised and he lashes out at villanelle, causing her cry(probably not sure if it's fake or not).Well, this is the first part of it so Imma just leave it at that and put the other ideas in a separate DM box later on. I'll admit, this is completely a LOT to look through but i couldn't keep it in any longer lol. An again, Yr chapter's still good and interesting to read btw. Hi, so here is part 2 of ideas for some of the next upcoming chapters; maybe while at school, Nate and his new friends should like encounter Gina with a couple of strange people during hall and run out of school(then something happens to rebecca, without them knowing) with help from Ellen(who received Francis' message) and by coincidence, runs into Eve, "Billie", her allies, and his old friends. I can't guess in imagining the look at Nate's face when he sees Holden has powers(it would definitely be no doubt another part to add in his comics). Maybe after explaining everything much to Nate's surprise, everyone should head to the police station to wait for Martin to arrive and try to see what to go. Also, Villanelle should try to annoy Eve by "telling her a story" and then the both be going back forth with Eve saying: you shot me and villanelle saying: you stab me and ruby also would get kidnap and P.E.A.C.E should send a text that only nate, villanelle, carl, and holden meet them in a secret location, if they want ruby and rebecca alive. You could also add Willa in for while the two girls are being held captive. So that what I've come up for now. On another note before i finish, i've been reading chapter 16 quite a few time and noticed that you identified the victims as P.E.A.C.E number . I know this is your story but since P.E.A.C.E is a shadow organization, (meaning you don't know who the other members are),we can assume that they're the type of people who keeps their secret life private, so yeh, that's about much it. Take it easy there. Sorry, almost forgot to add one more detail, i think the hug scene should be a bit similar to the 2nd season of "Killing Eve" where Villanelle reunites with Konstantin, after she've shot him during their encounter last time.
