Tips to survive the COVID-19:
For people with medical conditions and older adults
Older adults and people of any age with medical conditions like lung disease, heart disease, or diabetes are at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 and should seek care as soon as symptoms start.
Stay home except to get medical care.
People who are mildly ill are able to isolate at home. Rest, stay hydrated and monitor your systems carefully. If your symptoms get worse, seek medical care. Call before you go to prevent others from being exposed.
Separate yourself from other people in your home.
Stay in a specific room away from others and use a separate bathroom if you can. Do not share personal household items. Wear a mask and maintain 6 ft. distance if you need to interact with others.
Wash your hands often & avoid touching your face.
Wash frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, and before eating or preparing soap and water aren't available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your face.
Designate someone to clean high-touch surfaces every day.
Clean counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, phones, keyboards and bedside tables. Use diluted bleach solutions (4 teaspoons per quart of water), alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol or most common EPA - registered household disinfectants.
Chapter 22: The Final Battle - Part 3
It was Villanelle.
"I got you!" she grunted as she pulled Martin up.
"...thank you," Martin said in gratitude after a moment of silence.
"You're welcome," she replied with a small smile. "I know you hate me, but are we good for right now?"
"...for now. Yes."
"Great. Your son's safe. I know where he is."
Villanelle then lead Martin to where Nate was, and the second he saw his son, the second-
"Son!" Martin cried happily.
"Dad!" Nate cried back and the two hugged as if there was no tomorrow. Then Martin pulled back for a second and looked at his son and asked:
"Are you alright?"
"Yes." Nate replied.
"Good...then WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" Martin responded back in outrage giving the hairy eyeball to Nate. "Surrendering to terrorists when I told you NOT to leave!? You gave me a jumpscare!"
"Quite the huge jumpscare I'm assuming," Teddy cracked a joke on this moment. But Francis responded with a flick to Teddy's ear. "Sorry."
"So what are we doing here?" Martin asked, looking around to see flooring of sorts.
"Time travel," Holden replied. "The PS 38 massacure wasn't meant to happen so we are going to erase it from the timeline."
"And Gina's madness?"
"Can't change that one. It's an absolute point in our timestream."
"And if we undid that..."
"We end this universe for good."
Nate and Randy laid down on the table, preparing to transported, Holden laid out the rules.
"1. Don't change ANYTHING else except for the ordered, 2. Don't kill anybody that will end future existence for anybody else. 3. Don't step on any bugs or kill plants that will hurt the future timeline."
Nate and Randy were confused.
"...if you read 'The Sound of Thunder,' you'll know what I mean," Holden explained.
"Oooooohhhhhh," Nate and Randy understood now.
"Are you ready?" Holden asked.
Nate was on shaky ground at the moment, giving how Gina will stop at nothing to kill him, his part or no, likewise Randy for not stopping Gina or Nate sooner.
"If we don't make it out, thanks for everything," Nate responded.
Eve and Villanelle nodded sadly.
Martin, Ellen and Ruby were close to tears.
Francis, Teddy, Artur, Jenny, Breckenridge, Maya, Carl looked on in sympathy.
Dee Dee broke out in her dramatic moment again.
...and Chad's stomach growled loudly.
"Okay, here goes. Quick side note: It will be a little painful too," Holden commenced the time travel, and of course, Nate and Randy felt some pain as their minds are being transported back in time...
"So… how was practice?" Nate asked his friends.
"Practice was fun," Francis replied.
Dee Dee cleared her throat and said with a warm smile: "Speaking of practice, I got news for you. It's a surprise. Ruby and I had a little talk after practice...and just as I thought, she likes you. She said you're nice, she loves your sense of humor, she thinks you're cute, she even loves your hair!"
While Dee Dee was saying this, she wraps her arms around Nate in a big hug.
"So this girl is literally one in a million," Teddy cracks. Everyone laughed. Except for Nate. Again.
Nate suddenly blinked a few times before the thought hit him:
"It worked! But how much time do I have exactly?"
Nate then tried to speak but stopped in the process. He wasn't ready to break up with his friends again. But Francis was a step ahead. He elbowed Nate in the ribs and asked:
"Well? When are you going to ask her out?"
Nate got to his feet.
"That well...have to be saved for another day, I'm going through something serious here. So is my family, so umm... good talk!" Nate replied before heading back in the house.
At least I didn't blow up on everyone like I thought I would, Nate thought to himself. And it worked! Now I'll have to do is make sure that PS 38 Massacre never happened.
And so, Nate carried on as if nothing happened getting his room all neat and tidy, doing his homework. and so the next morning Nate remember that he originally brought his dad's taser to school, plus he didn't want to start up that drama again oh, so he decided and his better judgment, to leave it behind.
The next day, Nate got up really early in the morning and packed up his backpack with his previous assignments and overdue library books school and remembered that he originally brought his dad's taser to school, plus he didn't want to start up that drama again so he decided and his better judgment, to leave it behind and made his way to PS 38 alone. He didn't want to be bothered right now. He had to change since he had bad grades in school and attends peer counseling.
So Nate made his way through the school entrance, in the first thing he did was returned his overdue library books (much to Mrs. Hickson's delight), and made his way to his very messy locker. He then proceeded to clean up whatever junk he had in that locker and threw most of the unwanted garbage away and collected whatever homework assignments he had in it.
Soon a little bit of time passed, most of PS 38 classmates begin pouring into the school. But luckily for Nate, the boy was able to ask for extra assignments to redo his homework, much to the confusion from most of his teachers. Nate then made his way to social studies class. There was Mrs. Godfrey, one of his arch rivals, who gave Nate the usual glare. Nate didn't mind this, of course, mainly due to how much Nate really is a bad student.
Nate then approached Randy, who seemed pretty bitter about yesterday.
"Hey," Nate says to Randy.
"Hi," Randy replied back.
"That was something yesterday."
"Sure was."
"Um, Randy?"
"Yeah?"
"...what was I about to tell you?"
Randy knew what Nate was talking about.
"We are in the past?"
"Yes! We did it!"
"Did you leave your Dad's taser at home this time?"
"Yes."
"Okay, good. We just act normal at least for awhile now, deal?"
"Deal."
After that, the conversation ended.
And so, class eventually begin. The bell rang and sooner or later, Mrs. Godfrey was at the chalkboard, doing her usual teaching thing (about social studies class, of course).
Several minutes later, this is when… well… um… we'll let it describe it.
Nate was minding his own business following along in class with the teacher when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He ignored it because he didn't want any trouble right now. But then a whisper came along with it.
"Nate?"
It was Ruby, Nate's latest crush, and would-be girlfriend. Nate really disliked the idea of hurting Ruby's feelings by saying he's not interested in starting a relationship with her. But because of the California plan, Nate knew at one point he had to spill the beans.
For now, Nate didn't respond to Ruby and tried his best to follow along in class. But she kept bugging Nate so much and just as he was about to burst with anger, Mrs. Godfrey suddenly called on Nate for a question.
"Nate?"
Nate jumped, as he immediately feared he was gonna get the sledgehammer from his teacher, but ended up crashing onto to the ground, much to everyone's amusement.
"You ok, Nate?" Mrs. Godfrey asked.
"I'm fine, but a fly kept bugging me and wouldn't let me answer your question," Nate responded.
Then with narrowed eyes, Mrs. Godfrey said, "Well tell that fly to leave you alone for the rest of the class time, okay?"
"Okay," Nate replied.
Then Mrs. Godfrey turned back to the board. Nate took a quiet breath of relief and turned to look back to his textbook. Then, a whisper came along again.
"Nate."
It was Ruby.
"Not now," Nate whispered quietly to his would-be girlfriend.
"Um, Nate? Are you oka-" Ruby whispered but was suddenly got cut off by Nate (instead of snapping) pleading.
"Ruby. Please, I'm already in a big hole right now and I'm trying to get myself out of it, so whatever it is you have to say to me, can it wait until after class, please?"
Mrs. Godfrey immediately turned to see what the problem was.
"What's going on?" she asks.
Nate didn't want detention, so he then replied to Mrs. Godfrey's demand.
"Just something that can wait until after class," Nate replied.
The entire 9 yards of class was so confused by what Nate was trying to say. The Randy stood up.
"Nate's moving to California," he announced like it was an worldwide announcement.
"That part was actually meant to be private for the moment, since I was expecting a last-minute miracle, but thanks for stepping up for me anyway," Nate complimented.
"And how do I know you're telling the truth?" Mrs. Godfrey asked in a firm voice.
Mrs. Godfrey then switched Nate's assignments to her direction and looked at it a bit. Few moments pass, then…
"Not one sight of cartoons. Not one."
"The only other cartoon there is is in my backpack," Nate chimed in.
"Is that a one-way ticket to detention?"
"No."
"May I at least see it so I know you're not lying?"
"Sure."
And Mrs. Godfrey looked at the comic. Here's how it went:
Mrs. Czerwicki: Put your head on your desk. And no talking!
Nate: What a sensible suggestion! I'll consider the consequences of my actions!
After several minutes of introspection…
Nate: That cartoon I drew was so MEAN! How could I have been so cruel? I must apologize to Mrs. Godfrey IMMEDIATELY!
Mrs. Czerwicki: Run! Run like the wind!
But…
Nate: Where's Mrs. Godfrey?
Random Sub: She was so devastated by your cartoon, she had to be HOSPITALIZED!
*Shame Cam Close-up!*
Nate: Oh No!
Soon, at the hospital…
Nurse: Her heart is broken! She's on life support!
Nate: What have I done? Mrs. Godfrey! Can you forgive me? I promise to NEVER draw mean cartoons again!
Nurse: Look! She's waking up!
Mrs. Godfrey: Even in a coma, I heard what you said! Did you mean it?
Nate: I meant EVERY word! I've seen the error of my ways! And it's all because you sent me to detention, you caring person, you!
Mrs. Godfrey: Give me a hug!
Mrs. Godfrey looked at the comic then looked straight into Nate's eyes and asked, "Are you trying to change for real, this time?"
A light bulb went off Nate's brain quickly.
"You can also call my dad if you want, since I heard through the grapevine that you have late-night calls with my dad," he replied.
"Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh," Everyone went.
"Oh, okay, suite yourself, but if you're wrong, you will have detention for probably the rest of the school year," Mrs. Godfrey accepted Nate's bluff before dialing Martin's phone number.
A few moments later...
"Martin? Hi this is Mrs. Godfrey from PS 38. Have I caught you at a bad time? Yes, from what I heard from your son a little bit ago, you guys are moving, is that right?"
Mrs. Godfrey's lips faltered to a frown.
"Oh really? Oh okay. Thank you for telling me about this. Turn out one of my students need the public announcement that meet with moving, and Nate himself confirmed it that this was true. I didn't want to believe this at first, but I decided to ask you anyway. Anyway how's your daughter Ellen? Very sad? Oh dear I am so sorry. Please send her my best, okay? I have not seen her for a very long time. Alright, good talk. Bye."
Mrs. Godfrey hanged up, the class was absolutely silent. Then...
"Well, Nate, for once you're not actually wrong," Mrs. Godfrey said to Nate, who still was bummed out with yesterday's news.
Silence again with all eyes on Nate. Then Gina jumped from her seat, cheering in excitement.
"WAHOO! Nate's going away for good! WAHOO! WAHOO! WAHOO- I mean, booooo! Boooooooooo!" Gina switched her tune immediately after getting the glare from her favorite teacher.
"I didn't think so. Oh, and Gina?" Mrs. Godfrey asked to her student.
"Yes, Mrs. Godfrey?" Gina asked in a small child-like voice.
"Try focusing on schoolwork instead of ratting out your classmates!"
"Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh," Everyone went again.
Mrs. Godfrey. Your coffee's ready." the intercom comes on.
"Coming," Mrs. Godfrey replies to the intercom.
Mrs. Godfrey then leaves the room. As soon as the door closes behind her, all eyes in the room begin landing on Nate.
Nate knew there was no way to deny the California plan now, so he yielded.
"Okay, you got me! True unfortunately, but the California plan is pretty close though, so not yet on the goodbye cards, okay?"
"Alright, but I'm not planning on saying goodbye! I'm not even kissing you either!" Gina hissed.
"Well that's not very nice to say," Nate frowned.
"Yeah, what's your deal today?" Randy jumped in.
"Oh, nothing, wondered if Nate was faking anything again," Gina said.
"Gina, reLAX! I'm not faking, in fact, why do you really think Mrs. Godfrey just got off the phone with my dad about what's happening in my personal life?" Nate shot back.
Everyone kept looking at Nate and Gina back and forth, waiting for the next pin to drop.
"Okay, you got me there..." Gina murmured. "But do you expect me to accept you to love you all of the sudden that you are going away forever? Just so we are perfectly clear on this (even I have already said this the one time the 'Nate likes Gina' rumors were around at the time)...I. REALLY. HATE. YOUR. GUTS!"
Nate opened his mouth again if he was ready to say something but remained really quiet on this one. The only thing he could do was nod his head in agreement.
Gina noticed quickly.
"You're taking this one well. What gives?" she asks.
Nate opened his mouth again, but couldn't find the right words.
Then Gina knew what Nate was going to say then jumped in quickly again.
"Oh wait, wait a minute! I see where this is going! You wanted to be with Jenny because you thought Artur and I would become a cute couple. Okay, okay! You just wanted Jenny all to yourself didn't you?" Nate had to nod in agreement.
"Oh, and that one time when you dump egg salad on Jenny, that was for me wasn't it?"
"Yes," Nate replied this time.
Silence again everyone still went back and forth to Nate and Gina waiting for another pen to drop again.
"I'm glad I moved on Nate said firmly. I mean..."
"But you're still the spiky-haired snot-nosed arrogant weirdo in the school aren't you?" Gina cut off again with some harsh words and Ruby looked on in shock she couldn't believe what her would-be boyfriend was going through.
"Yeah you're so destined for greatness aren't you? And you act so high and mighty, almost every day, but by the end of the day you're just the kid who still goes to detention, always getting punished!"
Nate let out a trembled sigh. He couldn't agree more with Gina, who noticed again then pressed on. "Oh did I make you cry? Did I hurt your feeling that one time when I labeled your fleece ball team 'Kuddle Kittens?' That had to hurt, didn't it?" Then Gina made some sort of face like some sort of baby ready to break into tears at any moment.
Randy was also watching the whole scene unfold, he was struck in awe at what Gina was turning into by this point. But before he could do anything, Nate said something back to Gina.
"At least I'm not the only issue here too," he spoke firmly.
Silence again for a few seconds.
"So now I'M the issue?" Gina asked taken aback by what Nate just said. I'M the issue?"
"Yeah we can ask my friends at least I still have real friends!"
"Unlike Gina's suck-ups," Teddy whispered to Francis who nodded in agreement.
"Oh yeah? Where are they now?" Gina challenged.
Nate's friends stood up almost immediately.
"We can ask all of them if you are the issue," Nate said then looked at Randy who is giving the same look.
"We haven't stamped our official friendship haven't we?"
"Not yet," Randy said "But do I still count?"
"Sure" Nate nodded and Randy stood up too as Nate turned back to Gina
"But they're all going to say you're the issue.
Gina disagreed. "I'm not the issue here."
"Then why you shouting your head off at me in class? I mean just be grateful that Mrs. Godfrey's not back yet. I mean you're shouting voice is enough to draw attention from anywhere. In fact, anybody could actually hear you from the hallways, so like I said before why you suddenly shouting your head off?" Nate pursued.
Randy had to jump in.
"Yeah, I think if we took a survey out of everyone who really knows us, they're all going to collectively say you're the issue," Randy said having a change of heart.
"Now this is what I will DRAMA!" Dee Dee whispered to Ruby.
"And what is this all about?" said a female voice.
It was Ms. Clarke, the English teacher, who happened to overhear the entire exchange.
"Uh...nothing!" Gina says, turning from monstrous to super sweet in one millisecond.
"Gina's rejoicing that Nate is moving to California," Randy explained the truth to the teacher.
"SHUT UP!" Gina snapped at Randy for exposing the truth and actually tried to punch Randy.
But Nate was more quicker than Gina was and-
POW!
Nate went down for the count and landed on the floor like a sack of potatoes and within seconds his nose bleed profusely.
Ruby, Dee Dee and a few other students gasped in horror as they began crowding around the unconscious Nate.
"What on earth-?" Mrs. Godfrey returned in a nick of time with her coffee, and the first thing she saw was one of her students severely injured. "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?"
"What's all the shouting-?" Principal Nichols came in and saw Nate too. "Mrs. Godfrey! What happened?"
"No. Ask ME," Ms. Clarke said firmly.
Principal Nichols went up to Ms. Clarke and asked:
"WHO is responsible for this?"
Ms. Clarke pointed at Gina. Then the rest of the class tagged suite.
Principal Nichols glared viciously at Gina, who looked ready to melt into a big puddle...
Police cars flooded the area of PS 38 and an ambulance arrived to take away an injured Nate while some police officers took a struggling and screaming Gina to one of the police cars.
"I'll get you, Nate and Randy, if it's the last thing I do!" Gina screamed as she put into one of the police cars.
The conversation lasted about 8-15 minutes between Randy and the police.
Randy explained everything about Gina and how he was her friend/ally and how he was turning over a new leaf. The police let Randy go after that as Randy returned back to school and classes resumed...
...Beep...Beep...Beep...
Nate looked around in his surroundings and realized he was in the hospital.
He started to get up, but was halted by a gentle hand.
It was Ruby.
"Hey," she said softly.
Nate nodded.
"You're okay. It's gonna be okay," Ruby reassured her crush that everything will be okay.
"How can I be okay...when the mud bowl is coming up?"
That question hit Ruby pretty hard. It really home. And after a brief moment of silence, Ruby asked.
"I really don't know. Wanna talk about something else in the interim?"
"Sure."
And so Nate talked about how he got 7 detentions in one school day...
"...and I broke down laughing right after I saw my favorite pen ooze on Mr. Galvin's chest," Nate told to Ruby, who giggled while reacting to Nate's story.
...how he got Randy to detention...
"...and Randy comes dashing to the table that Chad and I were carrying to the lunchroom and tried to pin the blame on me, but Ms. Clarke sent him detention," Nate told to Ruby who slightly chuckles.
"What a moron," Ruby responded.
...won fleece ball against Randy...
"...and Gina smacked the ball with her eyes shut and got a home run," Nate to Ruby, who responded with a 'good for her'.
...got Gina her first ever detention...
"...then Gina yells at me in the library and gets caught by Mrs. Hickson and sent to detention," Nate told to Ruby, who slightly giggled.
...winning a skateboard an the Scout's fundraiser ceremony...
"and Artur and I were tied up so a coin had to be flipped, and it landed on heads, which I chose and won!" Nate exclaimed.
"Good job," Ruby complimented to Nate.
"Thank you," Nate replied.
...won in a snow down against Jefferson Middle School...
"and the judges caught Jefferson cheating so they announced that we are the winners!" Nate exclaimed to Ruby again.
"That's great!" Ruby said with ecstatic in her voice.
...winning the trivia slam against Gina...
"..and I said cats to the question and the Factoids won. Oh, did I forget to mention that Gina made a face so hilarious that I took a picture of her?" Nate asked Ruby.
Ruby giggled.
...winning a bet against Marcus the 7th grader...
"...and I volunteered Chad to be in the three-legged race with Maya (Chad's crush), and those two won against Marcus who got humiliated in the process, which destroyed my bad luck," Nate told to Ruby who laughed by this.
...and found an old mural that saved the school.
"...and my team called 'Nate's Non-stoppers found an old mural that was forgotten in time so I showed the principal and he sold it to the museum for a lot of money that saved our school!" Nate exclaimed.
"An amazing discovery, indeed," Ruby nodded with a huge grin on her face.
"Mmhmm," Nate nodded, doing his best not to drift to sleep again.
The doctor came in and ushered Ruby to leave so she can check up on Nate.
"Such a sweet girl," the doctor smiled.
"Yes she is. Haven't asked her out yet, though," Nate replied, closing his eyes again...
Nate slowly opened his eyes again, and noticed he was back to the present day, along with Randy, and the two got up from the table to find their friends and loved ones present.
"Did you do it?" Francis asked.
"Yes," Nate replied.
"Good, you stopped the PS 38 shooting," Holden said, helping the two time travelers off the table.
Everyone gives a weird look to Holden.
"Ummm...what shooting?" Francis asked.
"...never mind."
Then everyone heard rumbling.
"They're here," Villanelle announced. Then Gina burst in along with...
"Jason Evans?" Nate asked in shock.
"Who did you think?" Jason bit sharply. "Your dad killed my brother, and you will pay for that!"
And just as Jason was about to deliver the blow by whipping out his weapon, Holden quickly managed to make a portal and sucked Jason into it and let him die as did Alfred.
"Feel free to join your brother then!" Holden called to Jason as he closed the portal.
"That was quick," Eve said to Holden.
"A bit anti-climatic death too," Villanelle jumped in too.
"NOOOOOO! JASON! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" Gina screeched at Holden.
"What had to be done," Holden simply shrugged at Gina.
Gina's eyes grew wide and her anger reached to the tipping point.
"NOW YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR!"
That's when Rebecca came in.
"I just saw Jason fall to his death!" she exclaimed.
"I know, I know!" Gina growled and pointed at Holden. "Blame HIM!"
Rebecca became likewise angry and pulled out her weapon too.
"YOU'RE FINISHED!" she shouted Nate as she pointed her gun to the spiky-haired kid.
"No, Nate's MINE!" Gina then shot Rebecca right through her heart.
Rebecca fell to the ground instantly and died instantly.
Everyone looked at Gina wide-eyed as she said to herself:
"Never count on anyone to do your bidding."
Little did Gina knew that her PEACE army actually overheard the entire conversation and actually decided to ditch Gina and surrender, with one of them firing a pistol in the air for signal.
"WHAT'S GOING-?" Gina stopped as she saw her army again and felt relieved instantly.
"Oh! Thank HEAVENS! Get them!" Gina pointed at the group... but nobody budged.
"Did you not hear me?" Gina started to get impatient. "I said GET THEM!"
But the army shook their heads slowly and one of them reveal a recording of Gina's confession about her army and started flooding her with questions.
"Did you really mean that?"
"Were you talking directly about us?"
"All of THIS over just killing off ONE kid?"
Gina realized her plans were falling apart in front of her very eyes, and everyone was turning on her almost immediately...well, everyone but Nolan with his friends from Jefferson Middle School, and Zack from Nate's new school.
"Gina!" Nolan cried.
Gina ran up to Nolan quickly and gave a huge hug.
"Listen, about what I just said. I didn't mean to..." Gina's voice trembled, but Nolan was a step ahead, since he raised his hand like he's saying 'I know, I know.'
"So... you tired of having Nate in your life?"
Gina sobbed. "Ye-e-e-e-e-s!" she sniffed again.
"Might be the perfect opportunity to kill him NOW, because HERE THEY GO!" shouted one of Nolan's friends, pointing at the group that managed to slip out quietly and making a bee dash for safety.
Gina noticed and turned back to Nolan, who said back:
"Finish the job. We'll take them from here."
Gina nodded and took off after the group. But for Nolan and his friends...
"Alright, are we going the easy way or the hard way?" Nolan smirked. "You know, if you help Gina out, maybe she'll let you rejoin. What do you say to that?"
PEACE kept looking at each other waiting for someone to come forward, but nobody was still budging.
Nolan's smiles slips.
"Nolan?" one of Nolan's friends try to step in, but Nolan wasn't listening. "I think they made up their minds by this point."
"Scout's honor. You'll get a juicy promotion," Nolan kept going. But nobody still budged.
"So all this just to pick off one kid and rule the world?" asked of the PEACE members again.
"Did Gina mean anything what she said to us? Were we just pawns to sacrifice a game? In fact, what would Jason and Alfred Evans would say if they could actually see and hear what Gina really had to say?"
"Nolan stop. Stop right now," Zack tried to stop Nolan, but he was having none of it now.
"I'm not yielding," he said to his friends
"Try to listen," said one of the PEACE members back.
"Yeah, you and whose army?"
All the PEACE members pointed their weapons at Nolan.
"I don't think he'll listen," said a PEACE member.
"Shut it down?" asked another.
"Yeah."
And the first time of his life Nolan realized how far he really gotten now and wanted to take back what he just said, but the damage was already done.
Gina made a few ways towards where Nate and his friends were going when she heard a loud popping sound, and it was that moment she knew Nolan had sacrificed himself for Gina. Tears stung so hard in her eyes, just the thought of losing so many friends and allies in one day just had to hurt.
I should have been more careful and when I said, Gina thought to herself. She could feel her own fist clenching really hard. But I will make a new one again! Then she pursued Nate and his group and was catching up very quickly by being very quick and quiet.
And out of nowhere, Gina jumped out of nowhere and grabbed Nate and Ruby, fighting them out (in a cartoon manner of dust and fists)
"SON!" Martin cried, now deathly afraid of losing his son again.
Gina quickly pulled out her gun and pointed it at Nate's head saying:
"Nighty-night, Nate WRONG."
Then RANDY jumped down (with the help of Holden) and blocked Gina's shot, quickly disarming her and tries to push her away from Nate and Ruby.
"YOU FOOL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Gina shouted.
"Something I should have done a long time ago...STANDING UP TO YOU!" Randy responded before fighting Gina out (in a cartoon manner of dust and fists again).
Holden rushed to Nate's side, who responded:
"I have an idea."
Nate jumped in on the fight between Nate vs Gina, pushing each other.
It's just you and me, Wright. Mano a wrong-o!"
Gina gave a good punch to Nate's face twice, giving Nate a moment of pause of quick dizziness, then shook it off and glared at Gina hard.
Gina then made a good trick on Nate.
"Your shoe's untied!"
Nate foolishly looked down as a good punch from Gina from below came again, giving Nate another opportunity to shake off the attack, as he felt some blood going from his nose.
"Come on, Natey-matey! Free shot!" Gina grinned menacingly
Nate then tried to punch Gina, but she was too quick and came from behind and hit Nate with both hands.
"Too fast for you! Guess who?" she said as Nate turned around and gave Gina the hairy eyeball, who gave multiple quick punches to Nate the karate-chopped him on the head.
"Oooooohhhh," everyone went.
"Come on, scaredy cat!" Gina challenged Nate again, who begin growling like a nasty bear.
Gina went for Nate again, this time flapping him hard in the face several times, then kicked him in the crotch, causing Nate to fall down to the side and hold his severed crotch, given by Gina.
"Oooooohhhh," everyone went again.
Gina laughed at Nate, who heard from behind and slowly rises up and gives Gina the VSHE (Very Scary Hairy Eyeball), and gives a good punch to the distracted Gina, to twirled for a bit and Nate a second punch to Gina, causing her back to fly to a wall.
Nate then telepathically Holden to convince him to giving him a bowl of frogs and chucked it at Gina who screak and pulled the bowl off her frogs sprang everywhere as her face was soaked with water, then lunged for her again, and after a few more moments later of fighting out with Gina...
"Alright, alright! You made your point," Carl stepped in.
Then Nate pulled away quickly from Gina, who got to her feet all wobbly and out of breath.
"You... can't beat me. You... You're just a spiky... haired... kid!"
Gina tries to grab Nate, but Nate grabs ahold of her hand first.
"I'm not a spiky-haired kid. I'm THE spiky-haired kid," Nate said, pulling out a stink bomb that contains egg salad.
"You wouldn't dare. If only you had the balls," Gina's eyes widened, seeing what was about to happen.
Nate shrugged and said with a smile that says Nate won:
"Never mess with someone who's destined for greatness."
Then the stink bomb explodes.
"AAAAACCCCKKKKK! OHMYGOD! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Gina screamed being exposed to the stink bomb running all over the place before realizing she was standing dangerously on the edge, ready to fall to her doom.
"Should I save her?" Holden asked to the group.
"She'll break out and put us all through this all over again," Willa frowned, gaining her speech back.
"True..."
"Hey Gina!" Nate called out to his enemy.
Gina did all she could to stay still to hear what Nate had to say.
"Even after everything you've done..." Nate and Holden share the same look as if they are on the same page. "we would have saved you."
Gina's eyes widened in surprise.
"So you would have saved me? So I could do this again?" Gina called back, trying to pull out any weapon at the last second, but lost her balance too, joining Jason and Alfred Evans to their doom.
Everyone looked down long and hard.
"Wow," Carl whistled. "Sure is a lot of falling deaths today than any other classic Disney movie COMBINED."
"Sure is..." Eve said.
"But the good side is guys," Nate said as everyone looked over to him. "It's over."
Then everyone happily embraced each other as if there was no tomorrow.
All happy to see each other.
All happy that everyone's alive.
And most importantly, their ordeals are over.
I did it! I finished it! Now comes the aftermath and the epilogue! Plus I want to give a huge thank you for helping me get to this point, and to RaymanRulesDude and AppalledWriter for amazing ideas! You guys rock! :) Plus, I have debated to take the PS 38 shooting out of the picture and I decided, in light of recent shootings, would be a good idea after all. But I kept Gina's madness in the story. Plus I have did a few throwbacks to Disney and the novel series and other media themselves too like the classic falling to death from Disney movies. So has anyone seen Puss in Boots 2 yet? I think you should, because it's so good, you'll love it! So I hope you guys loved this long awaited chapter and comment what you thought of it and I'll tweak it again upon requests. Now all I have left is the aftermath and epilogue chapters. Open for great ideas. See you later! :)
