Problems
It took getting used to Victor helping around, after the years of the two being violent rivals, Hell Arch-enemies, the two got along like brothers that haven't seen each other after years, the people of Kuo Kuana welcomed his presence with the refugees he was with, along with the girl with him, a Sienna Khan, a tiger Faunus that was Kali's age.
Speaking of, the two had at some point got both Victor and Logan on a double date much to Logan's amusement and Victors embarrassment.
Though with the good, there was always the bad that followed with Salena's age getting to her, the SDC sending envoys for Employment offers which went back empty handed, Logan at times had to step in to help sort through Affairs when Salena's fits kicked in, Victor also helped with Menagerie moving through the other kingdoms to protest on the treatment of Faunus, Logan had gone to a few to see how things went, so far he did notice some improvements… slight as they may be, Sienna had however culled a group of slavers from a SDC mine that wasn't listed, which left the group with adults and kids to help get over the trauma, Salena and Kali weren't happy with her going off on her own, Logan had remained a Neutral during a debate, Victor was leaning towards Sienna's ideas of gaining equality.
Seems no matter where you go there was always conflict amongst people.
Setting down a cup of coffee beside the sighing Logan, Kali smiled at his smile before the two shared a kiss, the cat moved around Logan's chair to rub his shoulders, the man rubbed his eyes.
"That is the last right?" leaning over Logan's right shoulder, her chin was rubbed gently much to her satisfaction as she was pulled into Logan's head.
"Yes, that's the last denial of Atlas' excavation request" getting a sigh from the woman, she spoke.
"If they want to get more resources maybe they should have asked instead of demanded" getting a chuckle from Logan as he stood up, he turned to bring Kali close for a hug, leaning down to kiss her lips gently, Kali moaned into the kiss before a throat being cleared made the two separate, showing a much older Salena at the door, her walking stick held with both hands, she had a knowing smirk as she moved to a chair.
"I see, I'm still waiting on a grandchild" getting an amused smirk from Logan, Kali blushed crimson before moved to make tea for her mother, leaving Logan with Salena who gave a smirk in return, looking to the desk, Salena looked over the documents with Envelopes ready to be sent.
"I see Jacques doesn't take no for an answer?" getting a low rumble from Logan, his response was all Salena needed as she nodded.
"For an ass who married into the family he didn't wait to change the work force to treat us like crap" getting a sigh from Logan as Salena raised an eyebrow at him, he spoke.
"Sorry, Victor and I had to deal with the same bullshit" getting an amused chuckle from Salena, she spoke.
"Just Promise me one thing when I kick the bucket" getting the full attention from Logan as she stood up, she smiled at him while placing her left hand on his right shoulder.
"Don't go down the road of Violence, nothing good ever comes from such" rubbing his shoulder before moving to the kitchen, Salena spoke.
"Kali, let me help you make tea, you still need practice with your discipline if it took you this long to make one cup" rubbing his shoulder with a frown at her words, Logan inhaled slightly before moving to the kitchen.
Where he found Kali beside her mother brewing tea, the door knocking made Logan turn to see a red haired Bull Faunus waiting for him at the door, the little boy smiled shyly as Logan knelt beside him.
"Adam, what are you doing without your mother, you never leave her side unless it's an emergency" getting a look from Adam, he spoke.
"That's because mom got a transmission from the CCT that was recently built for us" staring at the now worried boy, Adam continued.
"The Schnee dust company is coming to visit us later today, Jacques himself wants to speak with you for the constant denials" getting a frown form Logan, he turned to Kali and Salena, he turned back to Adam who stood waiting.
"I'll be sure to be ready for him, Get Victor for me while set things up" getting a nod, the Bull Faunus ran off with Logan turning to Kali and Salena, the two looking to him as he stepped into the kitchen, speaking with a heavy heart of what was to come.
Sitting within the Private Bullhead Jacques Schnee, formerly Gelé stared over the city of animals before him with a hidden displeasure, looking to the Military escort with him, Specialist James ironwood stood beside him relaxed as ever, unlike the rest of the security detail he requested.
Landing on the pad, Jacques stood in wait as all but Ironwood moved to check for any danger, the Specialist stepped off with a pleased smile, he gave a friendly wave to a little Animal who shyly waved back, Jacques stepped out beside him with a held sneer.
The mother spotted him before guiding the child away, James frowned before giving an annoyed look to Jacques who stepped forward to a group of four, the oldest being a Faunus with a Rapier cane who stood beside a younger version of herself, she wore as formal of a dress as possible around here, the largest of the group stood with an open fur collared vest, his pants sported fabric wrapped around the knees to hold spiked knee guards, his feet adorned sandals that showed clawed toes.
And the smile showing large canines, made Jacques paused for a moment before turning to the last of the group.
Standing with his arms also crossed, his eyes stared at Jacques with clear disinterest in his blue.
His hair was combed into a semi tamed state, his sideburns were trimmed with the beard as well.
His attire was what a farmer would wear with his arms exposed to show muscle over muscles, a pair of jeans with boots to finish the look, this man looked the most tamed of the four.
Setting the charm as he approached the man with the beard, Jacques spoke with a fake smile.
"Jacques Schnee, a pleasure Mr…?" getting a stare back form the animal before him, he turned away without an ounce of care.
"Follow me to my office" getting a rumble of amusement from the large man with them, Jacques tried to keep his anger of the dismissal in check, Ironwood lead the team after the animal.
Sitting on the chair within the office with the man taking a seat with a look of disdain at the scattered documents set in piles, Logan waited for Victor to take his spot behind him as they planned an hour prior, Kali was making tea for anyone who was thirsty, the Specialist of the group accepted with a kind bow, Kali smiled at him before moving to the Kitchen where Salena waited quietly.
"So, what can we do for you, Mr Schnee?" getting an eye twitch from Jacques, his eyes snaked to Victor who stood behind him, Jacques.
"I was wondering why you've been denying my companies offers of employment, with work loads being too much for us" getting an unamused look from Logan.
"I'm sure you have many reasons for this refusal, But I can help Menagerie get off it's current footing, I assure you it'll benefit the whole of you're community" staring at Jacques who was lying through his teeth, Logan stood calmly.
Staring into Jacques eyes that shown hidden glee and disgust, Logan gave his answer.
"No thank you"
