Beacon for Hopefuls
Throwing himself over an upturned tree, a 17 year old Jaune Wilson Arc leaned against the makeshift cover to reload a specially made Desert Eagle with his left hand, his right hand being severed by his current teacher.
"Blake you there?" was all Jaune whispered before he spun with his gun aimed at the face of his girlfriend of five years, Blake Belladonna Howlett.
Giving him an amused look, she spoke while gesturing to his stump as it slowly regrew bone and muscle.
"Need a hand?" giving the cat Faunus a deadpan, her look of amusement remained until he shot her in the face, making her head recoil with a spark on her skull, she gave a purr as she sat beside him, nudging her nek with her face, Jaune rolled his eyes at her weird way of flirting.
Jaune Arc had grown into a fine young man in the years, his body having a superior healing than his old man's (Much to Wade's pride). Wearing a long sleeved muscle shirt with Kevlar sewn in for added protection against fire arms, his legs wore black jeans with holsters on his thighs, his upper body wore a leather jacket with an intricate design with black and red the colour scheme.
Sporting sports shoes muddied with blood and dirt, Jaune's weapons were that of two desert eagles with a two Katana's, both a gift from his old man before he so to speak moved in to Kuo Kuana.
Blake, like her boyfriend, had an attraction to leather clothing, for example she wore a black half-opened vest revealing her chest, and leather pants and boots. She also had several slightly torn sleeves and wore several bands and ornaments, several decorative rope necklaces with two ear rings puncturing her left cat ear. Her hands wore gloves that had open slits between her knuckles to allow her "Claws" a safe extension.
Looking down to Jaune's regrowing hand, the two looked up at their cover at hearing an explosion.
"Seems Nora's having fun?" sharing a glance, Blake winked at Jaune before throwing herself over the cover with a front flip, leaving Jaune staring before he looked to his hand as it finally hit Puberty.
Testing the joints as they popped, he followed suit while holding his other Desert Eagle.
And seeing James "Logan" Howlet avoid the war beast that was Nora Valkyrie, the happy girl was holding her own against Logan who was forced onto the defensive, sporting a grin as Lie Ren joined the fight, Logan's eyes snapped to Blake as she lunged at him from the right, the surprise an distraction for Nora to send Logan flying towards Jaune who leaped up to send a kick into Logan's face, eliciting a loud crack with Juane groaning at feeling his left ankle shatter, he jumped off the floor to avoid getting three adamantium claws to the head, firing into his girlfriends dads face, Jaune was snatched from the air by a blur.
Landing on his back, Jaune stared up to his adopted brother Mercury who walked past him with a smug grin.
"What, didn't see that coming?" following that was the teen vanishing from sight in a burst of speed, circling Logan as Jaune was on his feet again, he ran towards Logan with Blake, Nora and Lie at his side.
"Nora, disorient him, make him dizzy, Lie keep his mind on you and Nora" turning to Blake as she spared him a glance.
"Let's try and trip him over" raising his desert eagles, Jaune gave a laugh as Logan was bombarded with dust grenades, his skin healing even as he was hit, Lie made him grunt at the stinging sensation at his knees, Logan threw a backhand that nailed Mercury in the jaw, the Wolverine turned and tried to slash at Lie who slid under the strike, Logan staggered as bullets riddled his back, the bombs from Nora not helping as the flesh around his knees were blown off by Lie and Nora, Logan turned around as feeling Blake's rope snag his legs, Jaune's suddenly arrival made Logan try and cut his legs off if not for Nora to bomb his shoulders, leaving Logan victim to Jaune's drop kick that sent him flying and onto his back.
Watching the man slide on the dirt, the four shared a high five while Logan stared up into the sky with a proud smile as his injuries healed.
Leaning up at the four approaching him, his daughter held her right hand down to him with Jaune helping her with Nora.
Looking amongst the teens of Kuo Kuana, Logan gave a smile.
"You're all getting better, you're gonna knock that exam on its ass" petting Blake on her head, the girl gave a purr as he rubbed between her ears, Logan turned to Jaune as he stood straight.
"You better take care of my daughter, kid" getting a nod from Jaune before bringing them into a group hug.
"Alright let's get back home, we've been here for an hour and you all smell" getting a laugh from the teens, they began the trek back to Kuo Kuana.
Stepping onto the Belladonna Homestead, Blake was greeted to her mother hovering over her little brother of four years Aiden Belladonna Howlett, a spoon of soup held to his mouth, Blake smiled at the sight with her father stepping around her as Nora and Lie moved to greet they're adopted aunt who gave a giggle as the two hugged her.
Looking to Logan as he approached, the two shared a kiss with Jaune sitting down on the sofa beside Mercury before he zipped around the house to keep himself occupied.
"So, you all ready for Beacon?" turning to the voice of her grandfather figure on Menagerie, Charles Xavier smiled at the young group with Adam Taurus behind him with a smile of greeting to the younger Faunus.
Turning to Jaune as he stood up at attention, Adam gave a nod of pride towards his student.
"Jaune, good to see you" getting a nod from the blonde, he spoke.
"Good to see you too Adam" getting a smile, Adam turned to Logan who frowned at sensing the urgency of this visit even if it was hidden under a friendly visit.
"Logan, can we speak in you're office, I have an urgent matter that you need to know of, as well as Lady Khan and Creed" getting a frown from the man, he nodded to his office.
"I've already called them over" turning to Charls, Logan spoke.
"Thank you Charles, kids, no eaves dropping this time" getting sheepish smiles form the teens, Logan shared a brief chuckle as he lead Charles and Adam to his office while Kali spoke to the teens with a smile.
"The Bullhead's depart for Vale early tomorrow, be sure to pack what you need and Mercury…" grabbing the speeding teen as he tried to speed passed her, he gave a sheepish smile as he held a cookie.
"Try to at least socialize" getting a sigh from the teen, the cookie was plucked from his right hand with Kali eating it instead.
"Now go pack" getting nods form the teens, Jaune and Blake moved to they're room.
Sitting down as Victor and Sienna filed in with Peter following them, sporting a small after shave on his now adult face, his eyes shown with delight as he hung up his scroll, he sat down with Adam waiting patiently.
"Alright Adam, we're here, what's the news?" seeing the serious expression on the swordsmen's face, he spoke while handing out reports.
"A division of the White Fang has gone silent, refuse to report, refuse to accept reinforcements with violent actions… in other words, we've got a rogue cell of Faunus, the culprit being one Tyrian Callows, a fresh recruit of about one month who arrived without notice nor ID" frowning at the picture of the Scorpion Faunus, Logan frowned at the hidden insanity behind those focused eyes.
"Where are they now?" turning to Adam, Charles spoke with a sigh.
"They're being protected, by means I do not know but I sense it is Magical in nature"
"That's because the Queen and certain others have taken notice" turning to the sudden arrival of The Entity, he looked worse for wear it seems much to the surprise of those within the room.
Sitting down with an annoyed huff, The Entity spoke.
"I tried to keep others from you're world from leaking through, but it seems those blubbering brothers decided to act against the salvation of Remnant and opened holes that I've been trying to close" giving The Entity alarmed looks, he spoke further.
"Allies and enemies from other worlds connected to you're home are opening" getting alarmed looks, Logan spoke one word that summarized the room.
"Fuck"
