Maya had an interesting dream tonight. She dreamed that Epke confessed his love for her, and that she did the same to him. This happening at the roof, right next to Anke, Cato, Coco, and Cleo. They had their first kiss. Soon enough, they found themselves at this sort of school party, where Maya, Epke and Anke drank some of Maya's hooch together to the sound of hard-hitting Eurodance tunes.
Maya woke up feeling weird, remembering every single detail of that dream. She felt this warm sensation all over her body, as if she actually experienced what happened in that dream, and had a gut feeling that this dream wasn't just a dream, but rather a prophecy.
She, however, shrugged it off and had her morning drink, while still having those thoughts somewhere on the back of her head.
Mymy, meanwhile, woke up to the sound of a phone notification. Vera texted her the following:
"Hello. I've been thinking of branching our business out, so to speak. Meet me at the parking lot."
Branching their business out? Is Vera thinking of selling moonshine to people besides Maya? Mymy found the idea really interesting, and wanted to see what the talk would be like.
Their morning went as usual, yet Maya still had that night's dream on her mind. She wanted it to happen. She wanted it BADLY. It wasn't distracting, but still kept her mind somewhat busy.
Lunchtime arrived, and Maya decided to stick with her sisters today. While they were talking and eating their food, Maya's phone rang. Epke had added her to a WhatsApp group called "The Gang". It had Epke, Anke, Cato, Cleo, Yfke, and Kiki.
"Hey, Maya!", Epke texted. "I put you in this group so we can still talk even if you're not here at the roof, plus so you can bond with my friends too!"
"Cool!", Maya replied. "Hey, guys!"
"Hey, Maya!", Kiki said. "Where are you at?"
"With my sisters."
"Cool! If Coco's there, tell her that Santa is coming to town!"
"Haha, will do, Kiki!"
Maya then put down her phone and put her attention on Coco.
"Coco!", She began. "Kiki wanted me to tell you that Santa's coming to town!"
"What does that mean?", Coco asked.
"Well... Christmas is just a week away..."
"I see, Maya..." Coco didn't seem to know what Kiki was talking about, but Maya sure did. It was honestly quite funny to see Coco struggle to get it.
Meanwhile, Mymy went to the parking lot to meet Vera. She was in her same usual spot: next to her car, smoking a cigarette.
"Hello, teacher!", Mymy said as she approached Vera.
"Hello, Mymy.", Vera replied.
"So, I see you want to branch out our business..."
"I indeed want to, Mymy. Maya alone won't be enough for us to make good money. There's a whole market for us to take advantage of, you know?"
"I see... we won't stop selling to Maya, though, will we? She kinda... needs boze."
"Of course not, Mymy. She's a very valuable asset, we can't just abandon her. Plus, alcoholics tend to not react well to people who stop selling booze to them, so..."
"I see, I see... But who can we sell it to?"
"Do you have alcoholics in your family?"
"I mean... besides Maya, there's probably at least one uncle that drinks more than they should."
"Great, great. Will you be staying at home during Christmas?"
"Yeah, actually, and a lot of our relatives are coming there too."
"There you go, Mymy! Just find a way to get them on board and sell away!"
Mymy nodded in excitement.
"Gotcha, teacher!", She said. "Wanna discuss anything else?"
"This is it for now, Mymy. We can discuss more if you manage to sell something."
"Alrighty! Pleasure doing business!"
"Pleasure doing b-"
Vera then suddenly stopped, looked beside Mymy, and squinted her eyes. Mymy then had a look, briefly seeing a figure spying on them. Mymy started to run after said figure, first throughout the halls, then in the cafeteria, then outside, and, finally, inside the gym, where she felt as if the figure disappeared. She picked up a chair and sneaked around the gym, hoping to find whoever that figure was. Right as she passed through the coach's office, she heard noises, so she quickly kicked the door open.
"SHOW YOURSELF!", Mymy yelled.
"MYMY, PLEASE CALM DOWN!", The figured replied.
Mymy then got very confused when she realized who that was.
"Cleo...?", She asked. "Uh... What the hell were you doing back there?"
"I'm sorry, Mymy...", Cleo replied. "I admit that I've been spying on you and Maya recently, and-"
Mymy then raised her chair up.
"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!", Cleo implored.
Mymy got her chair down.
"And I've seen the way you were both acting and all that.", Cleo continued. "Like, Maya's obviously drunk out of her mind all the time, you know?"
"Yeah, I think I'd know, Cleo, I'm her sister..."
"Also, one time I caught you and teacher Vera having a discussion in the bathroom-"
"Oh, no, you fucking didn't!"
Mymy then raised her chair again.
"MYMY, PLEASE, I DON'T MEAN TO TELL ANYONE!"
Mymy then stopped and fully released the chair, letting it fall on the floor.
"In fact, Mymy...", Cleo continued. "I kind of want to join in on what you guys are doing."
"You want to join us...?"
"Yeah! I think it'd be beneficial for everyone, especially now that you and Vera are expanding your business elsewhere!"
"Do you, like, have contacts, or something, or at the very least someone who's willing to break bad?"
"I mean, back when we still lived in Curaçao, my parents and their buddies used to smuggle alcohol from Venezuela, both for themselves and to sell it to other people."
Mymy found this statement very interesting. Maybe Cleo is up to something after all...
"Also, we're kinda running low on cash right now.", Cleo continued. "I even heard my dad talking with my mom about selling stuff again to get some extra money."
Mymy now definitely knew that Cleo was up to something.
"This is why I want in on this, Mymy!", Cleo continued. "Imagine all the profits we can all make together! Imagine how much this would help my family! It's win-win, Mymy!"
"This sounds convincing...", Mymy thought. "Maybe I should let her in."
"So, uhm...", Cleo continued. "Can we be partners?"
"You know what? Sure.", Mymy replied.
Cleo smiled and hugged Mymy.
"You will not regret this, Mymy!", She said. "You can bet on that!"
"You better not make me regret it!", Mymy said teasingly. "Also, sorry about threatening you with that chair."
"It's ok, Mymy, I did come across like a spying little cunt after all. No more of that, though!"
They then left the gym together, just in time for the school bell to ring.
After school was over, Mymy told Vera about what had happened at lunchtime. At first, she seemed unimpressed, but still arranged a meeting between the three the next day. After all, if Cleo really is up to something, this could be their gateway to success.
