An armored truck was being driven to a location before stopping at an area before several men ran out over to a room.
"What is all that noise?" Professor Banner asked only for his eyes to widen. "The disciplinary action squad, they're only called when a student is in real trouble and they're heading for Jaden's room."
Someone knocked on a door as after a few second Jaden answered looking a little tired as he blinked. "Can I help you all?"
"Jaden Yuki?" asked a woman in a green uniform with a stern expression. "You're to come with us immediately, and the same for Syrus Truesdale and Chumley Huffington."
Jaden blinked at that. "How come?"
"You all broke one of the academy's top rules... as such you all face immediate expulsion." she answered.
"Top rules?"
"Hey, hey!" they all looked seeing Yuzu in PJs waking up as a teacher to see what's going on before widening her eyes seeing the Disciplinary Action Squad. "Jane, what's going on here?" She looked to the woman at this who's the leader of the squad.
"We received a report that these three students were among a group seen at the abandoned dorm, as such they face immediate expulsion." the woman, Jane, answered.
"The Abandoned Dorm?" Yuzu asked shocked before looking at Jaden before she looked stern. "Jaden, I would like to hear what's going on when we reach the Chancellor's office. You, Syrus, and Chumley get dressed, and comply."
"Yes ma'am." Jaden said a little nervous as he closed the door for some privacy.
"Now Jane can you tell me who gave you the report?" Yuzu turned to the woman wondering who made such a serious report over about the Abandoned Dorm.
"I'm afraid I can't do that, it was an anonymous report." Jane answered.
"So we don't know if who sent this had decided to prank around?" Yuzu asked her hearing that. "I'll be along with the hearing, new students I can understand but Chumley? I know he wouldn't go that far to break Academy Regulations."
"Very well." Jane nodded.
So after they been dressed they headed out. Meanwhile two similar trucks are heading to two different locations.
Yuga Goha was in his room checking over his Deck to see what needs to change before hearing a knock on the door. Growling in annoyance he walked over. "I'm a little busy here what it is?" He opened the door.
"Yuga Goha, you're to come with us." a man in a green suit told him. "Immediately."
"And who's ordering?" Yuga Goha asked with a raised eyebrow.
"A member of the disciplinary action squad, now come with us or we'll have to use force." the man told him.
"'Disciplinary Action Squad'?" Yuga Goha snickered with a grin. "What a lame name..." That made the man looked offended before the boy shrugged. "But fine, your twisting my arm here, so let's just go where I need to be. Saves us the trouble." With that he nonchalantly placed his hands behind his head walking down.
The man frowned but turned and walked off with Yuga Goha.
At the same time the sounds of a truck woke Fonda Fontaine up at the Obelisk Blue Girl's Dorm.
"H-Huh?" Fonda yawned opening her door. "What's going on out there?"
"Ma'am, step aside we're here for two students who broke academy rules. Yuka Goha and Alexis Rhodes."
"Huh?" Fonda's eyes widen seeing the Squad Members heading to some doors exiting with Yuka, and Alexis while Yuka looked confused, and Alexis looking down. "Alexis, Yuka? What happened?"
Later...
In a office where Yuzu, Dr. Crowler, Banner, Sartyr, Fonda, and Chancellor Sheppard himself sat at his desk looked over seeing Jane stepping in with her hands at her back. "Chancellor, the accused are here." She gestured where the six stepped into the room all together.
"Can someone tell us what's going on?" Yuka asked.
"All six of you are facing immediate expulsion." Jane answered over with a glare.
"What?" Yuka asked shocked. "But why, we didn't do anything."
"We received an anonymous report from a reliable source that you six trespassed into the Abandoned Dorm." Jane explained to Yuka why there being punished. "Trespassing that location is grounds for expulsion."
"But before we get all excited here," Chancellor Sheppard spoke up to them. "I would like to hear there side of the story, and see if there truly guilty. Yuzu brought up that this might be a joke as Chumley not once broke any of the rules, so it be better if we can get there story before deciding anything."
"Alexis and Yuka were kidnapped by this freak in a mask." Jaden argued. "And then Yuga beat him in a duel and saved them."
"Someone else at the Abandoned Dorm?" Sheppard asked hearing that as Dr. Crowler frowned in his mind but didn't say anything. "So you all went there to rescue Alexis, and Yuka?"
Before anyone can respond Yuga Goha spoke up. "Not at first."
"Huh, what do you mean?" Banner inquired.
"While I don't know why those two went to the Abandoned Dorm, I do know they weren't planning to be Damsels in Distress." Yuga Goha started over to Alexis, and Yuka before then adding. "But these three went over cause they wanted to check it out after you told us about the Abandoned Dorm."
"What?" Yuzu blinked shocked turning to Banner hearing that having vividly recalled that Banner was with the boys for something but couldn't remember what.
"Well they were having a horror story fest, and I just happen to jump in on the fun. I drew a Level 12 monster so that was the first thing into my mind." Banner defended himself nervously seeing his wife's glare. "I did warn them not to go there though."
"We'll discuss that later." she frowned.
"I went there cause I had been sensing something evil approaching, and figured it was coming from the Dorm." Yuga Goha continued on explaining. "These three just happen to see if all the 'Shadow Game' business is true, and even though, I told them to stay back, and outside they were rather insistent to check it for themselves. We encountered that guy, and I made sure he wouldn't do it again."
"Then where is this guy you mentioned?" Dr. Crowler asked.
"He probably left the island by now." Yuga Goha answered with closed eyes. "I wiped out his memories so he wouldn't remember why he was doing what he's doing in the first place, and won't think of doing it again."
"You did what?" Sheppard questioned hearing that.
"And... me, and Alexis were there cause we were trying to find her brother." Yuka brought up on her own end.
Jaden's eyes widened. "That boy in the picture!"
"You... seen Atticus' picture?" Alexis turned to him shocked.
"Yeah, it was in that abandoned dorm." Jaden nodded.
"So from what I had gathered... first you two came to the Dorm to look for a missing student," Sheppard looked at Alexis, and Yuka then turning his eyes to Yuga Goha, "then you went there cause of sensing ill intent," and to the other boys, "and you three came to see if the Shadow Games are real or not. Then when that person came up, and kidnapped the girls all four of you went down to rescue them. Is that the correct story?"
"That's right." Yuga Goha nodded.
"Well despite the heroic rescue you all still went to the Abandoned Dorm with goals that don't help your case." Sheppard said over to them. "So unless someone objects, I'm afraid you six are not permitted to stay longer."
"Come now Chancellor," out of all people Dr. Crowler was the person to speak up. "must we really act like tyrants for the example of the school? I say we give them a chance."
Yuzu frowned slightly hearing that.
"You have something in mind Crowler?" Sheppard inquired.
"Yes, I say we give them a chance for there future here." Dr. Crowler spoke with a grin. "However, I request for Alexis Rhodes to be excluded, and given a strict warning." His reason was that Alexis is one of his top Obelisks, and will not lose her. Yuga Goha, and Yuka are also Obelisks but he doesn't care for them as there children which he believes they don't belong as students in Duel Academy as a successful school for growing Duelists not some kiddie playground. The Slifers on there end is pretty evident, a chance to be rid of some of the slackers that don't belong in the Academy, especially Jaden who embarrassed him at that time. This 'Weird Academy Mascot' is gonna make sure he regrets messing with him.
"And why?"
"Alexis is a promising student, and this is her only offense so there is no reason to be so drastic for her." Dr. Crowler answered over to Jane. "So a strict warning will suffice to a model student like her."
"This is the first offense for all of these students Vellian." Yuzu pointed out.
"But unlike Alexis there nothing worth keeping. The Slifers had failing grades so there not as talented as Alexis is, and the other two are only children, kids younger who should go to more age appropriate school rather then here." Dr. Crowler dismissed that point over as an excuse to get rid of the five, and save Alexis who's the true one worth preserving but Alexis has something to turn that around. He said 'only offense' but she had MULTIPLE from frequent dorm visits.
"How many times have you five gone to the Abandoned Dorm?" Alexis asked Jaden and the others.
They all blinked over confused before they all answered. "Once."
"I've been to the Abandoned Dorm several times this year... with only a few exceptions I've been almost every single night." Alexis told everyone there.
Dr. Crowler widen his eyes from this while Chancellor Sheppard narrowed over.
"Alexis don't joke around." Dr. Crowler said over to try to downplay this so the warning can still apply. "There's no way you would be there more then once."
"It's true." Alexis confirmed looking him in the eye.
"Yes she confirmed it with me." Yuka spoken up. "She heads to the Abandoned Dorm to look for her brother. Today was the only time she didn't head alone."
Dr. Crowler frowned hearing that wishing Alexis can be saved but... from Alexis revealing this much, a warning will not be the logical choice anymore. "Very well then... then Alexis you've forced my hand... you will endure the same punishment as those five."
"And what punishment do you recommend Crowler?" Sheppard asked him.
"High stakes duels. Win they get off scott-free. Lose, and they'll be expelled." Dr. Crowler answered.
"That seems fair, we should let a duel decide what happens." Professor Banner nodded. "I completely support your recommendation."
"Three separate Tag-Duels in addition to make things fair." Dr. Crowler said further. "Jaden & Syrus, Chumley & Alexis, and Yuga & Yuka." Sure he can go ahead, and expel them now but he wouldn't want Duel Academy to be labeled a tyrant school, and besides that be too easy. And if it wasn't for Alexis admitting she visited the dorm more then once, he would've done that so he uses the duels as a way to save her. Sure one of the slackers might be saved too but as long as Alexis can stay that's all he cares about. After all you need to make sacrifices for the good of the Academy.
"Do you all agree to these terms?" Sheppard asked them.
"Alright, we'll make the arrangements and let you know when the duels will take place." Sheppard nodded. "You six are dismissed."
They nodded but Syrus didn't as he was looking down but Sheppard didn't notice.
With the six left the room.
"You were certainly honest." Alexis remarked over to Yuka's brother who's arms were crossed.
"In my line of work, dishonesty is a punishable offense." Yuga Goha stated over to her. "As one of the six Corporate Presidents of Goha Enterprises we always be honest with our clients, and employees."
"He's right." Yuka agreed.
"Wait corporate presidents?" Syrus blinked hearing that. "Are you two too young to be big hot shots like those?"
"Despite our age we're good at what we do." Yuga Goha answered over. "You may or may not believe it that choice is yours. Now it doesn't matter we got something exciting to look over. The High-Stakes Duel been a while since I have something as serious as that." His mask retracted showing his grin at the challenge despite the circumstances that he might leave the Academy. Yuka frowned hitting him in the back of the head.
"Swirl!" Yuga Goha groaned rubbing his head.
"Hey I agree with him." Jaden said to Yuka. "This is an exciting match to look forward too, and I know it's gonna be a blast!"
"But Jaden we might be kicked out..."
"Ah! Don't worry we're gonna win them!" Jaden grinned over to Chumley. "We won't be taken down that easily! Lex, and Yuga are quite strong so I know once the three of us help you three out we can win this thing all six of us!"
"Maybe..." Chumley frowned.
"Come on I can tell Gavin will chew us out." Yuka sighed as she started walking to the Ra Yellow Dorm which is where Gavin decided to stay despite winning the promotion exam.
"Good idea." Jaden nodded smiling.
So they all walked together over to the Ra Yellow Dorm where Gavin, Nail, Yuga Ohdo, Romin, and Bastion are at together talking.
"Yuka too?" Gavin asked in shock.
"Hey guys!" Jaden greeted over with a wave. "You all wouldn't believe what happened!"
"We all kinda heard." Yuga Ohdo admitted with a rub of his head. "You six are gonna be in a high stakes match."
"What were you all thinking?" Gavin questioned. "How could you blatantly break the rules?"
"These were in danger, we saved them, end of story, can't chew on us." Yuga Goha stated over with a glare.
Gavin flinched slightly. "E... Even so, they were in danger because you broke a rule."
"She... huh?" Gavin blinked.
"Her brother?" Yuga Ohdo asked. "Well... did you find him?"
Alexis frowned shaking her head.
"Oh, well, I'm sure you will." Romin reassured her.
"Thanks." Alexis smiled.
"And now we gotta start practicing to be ready for the weekend." Jaden admitted with a grin over. "All six of us, and with all you good duelists too, I figure you can help us out!"
"Well you guess right." Yuga Ohdo grinned over. "Of course we can help what are friends for? Well maybe not Yuga, and Yuka there already amazing duelists but you four I can."
"Though for you to get better results you should ask some of the Obelisks or the top duelists of the school for the help." Nail suggested over.
"Maybe..."Alexis sighed. "Though I have a feeling most of them won't be willing to help out."
Syrus suddenly looked down. "Well... I think I know one."
"Really, who?" Jaden asked hearing that.
"My own brother." Syrus answered still looking down. "He's way better then I am."
"Oh, how skilled is he?" Nail inquired curiously.
"Way better then me. He's the Top Student of the Academy..."
"I know who he is." Alexis spoke up as they turned to her. "Zane Truesdale, the best duelist on Academy Island."
"The best duelist... interesting." Nail noted thoughtfully before closing his eyes. "Where can I find him?"
"He should be at his usual spot at this time. Come on." Alexis gestured them to follow her which they did.
But while they do Syrus looked down. He knows he's pathetic, stinks, and is a lost cause. He knows he's not that confident but it's cause he isn't worth all this extra effort, and is gonna get Jaden kicked out. One such example is back at his childhood when Zane stopped a match cause he would've lost had Zane didn't.
Flashback...
A younger Syrus was dueling as he grinned drawing a card. "Awesome I drew my best card, I activate the spell Power..."
"Stop!" a voice declared startling Syrus as a older boy walked to Syrus' opponent handing him a card, "This duel never happened. Just take this, and walk away."
"Hey sweet card! You got yourself a deal." the opponent grinned taking the card, and walked off.
"Huh, why did you do that Zane?" Syrus asked. "I was about to win the duel."
"No you weren't. And I never would've given you Power Bond had I know you were going to misplay it." Zane told him not turning around.
"Misplay it?" Syrus asked in confusion.
"Yes. This was the card your opponent had on the field face-down." Zane said showing a trap to Syrus known as Spellbinding Circle.
"Spellbinding Circle, but that would have..." Syrus realized.
"Yes, it would have stopped your monster before you could attack and then Power Bond would have finished you off with its side effect, you're not ready to be a duelist Syrus." Zane told him. He then scold, "You weren't thinking Syrus. You didn't taken in account the face-down card, and you didn't taken in account Power Bond's damage effect. You may know how to use the card, but there's more to Dueling then simply that!"
That made Syrus knelled ashamed.
Flashback End...
Syrus had his eyes closed from that memory before he heard a voice. "Hey Sy? What's wrong?" Syrus turned over seeing Yuga Ohdo looking a little concerned for him.
"Are you ok?" he asked making Syrus shake his head.
"Yeah, we should catch up with the others." Syrus mentioned despite frowning.
Yuga Ohdo stared before nodding as they walked. Eventually they arrived to a dock where they see Zane with his back facing them staring off at the ocean.
"Zane."
"Alexis. I've heard from Chancellor Sheppard you got caught in the Abandoned Dorm." Zane voiced over not turning around.
"Yeah, it was a little more complicated than that though." Alexis admitted.
"And now you brought a crowd." Zane turned around facing them. "If I had to guess to be ready for the matches this weekend."
"Yeah." she nodded as Nail took a step forward.
"You must be Zane Truesdale, the top duelist here at Duel Academy?" he inquired calmly.
"Yes. And who's asking?"
"Nail Saionji, a Dueling Overseer back at where I work." Nail introduces himself to Zane. "Hearing your the top Duelist, you interested me. I would like to see your skills firsthand."
"You're challenging me to a duel?" Zane asked him calmly.
"Yes." Nail equipped his Goha Enterprises Duel Disk. "That is exactly what I'm saying."
Zane looked at him for a moment before nodding. "Alright, it's been a while since I went slumming."
They readied as they stepped back before Jaden turned to Yuga Ohdo. "So what does Nail do?"
"He uses a Deck that focuses on gathering 3 monsters to summon a large monster. If you remember Asana, and her Maximum he focuses on using that too." Yuga Ohdo explained over to Jaden. "He manipulates his hand so that he can quickly get it in his hand."
Jaden nodded at that.
"You can go first." Zane told Nail calmly.

"Huh, what's he doing?" Jaden asked Yuga Ohdo.
"Like I told you he messes with his hand to gather the needed monsters." Yuga Ohdo reminded.
"By sending it to the graveyard to draw 2 cards, and send the top two cards of my Deck to the graveyard." Nail drew two cards before sending his two top cards. "And if one of the cards I drawn is a Providence I can summon it straight away."
"So the card you added must be a Providence monster, not a bad start." Zane noted.
"Not just any." Taking the card he added back he placed it as what rose was a large vine made serpent dragon with a beige head, red eyes, and a gem on it's head roaring.

Seeing the monsters Syrus gasped. "Wait, is he going to fuse three of them together?"
"Something else." Nail takes a card as the two with a third in his hand rose up. "I am providing the necessary steps to summon the ultimate Sky Emperor!" He shows an effect monster that has Yggdrago as a three headed version of itself. "By sacrificing three copies of Dragon of Providence - Yggdrago from my hand or field, I can summon this next card!"
That caught Zane's attention as he watched calmly.
"Heaven, earth, light, darkness, creation, despair, eternity, demise, destiny... This is the new myth which will permeate throughout the world... Using your three sets of insight, now is the time to bestow reason upon all of creation... Maximum Summon! Come forth! The Sky Emperor of Providence - Yggdrago !"

"Size isn't everything." Bastion noted. "That monster must have a weakness."
"It has 0 Defense Points for one thing..." Romin admitted over.
"I send the top three cards of my Deck to the graveyard to activate Yggdrago's effect." Nail sends his top three cards. "I destroy a monster on your field. Blizzard of Providence!" One of the heads fired a frost storm on Cyber Dragon.
Zane's monster shattered.
"And now Yggdrago attacks directly!" Yggdrago's three heads charged an attack. "Ragnarok Tri-Burst Strike!" The heads all fired blazing fire attacks at Zane.
"Not quite, I use my trap Call of the Haunted to bring back Cyber Dragon." Zane stated.

"Yes it does, while Cyber Barrier Dragon is in attack position, once per turn it negates one of your attacks." Zane told him as his dragon formed a barrier that blocked the stream.
Nail watched on nodding seeing that. "Very well then." He checked his hand of no cards. "I end my turn."

Zane frowned as his monster was destroyed again.
"And now Yggdrago attacks Cyber Dragon Core!" Nail raised his arm as Yggdrago's middle head charged another attack. "Ragnarok Tri-Burst Strike!" The head fired another fire stream at Core.
This time the attack hit destroying Core as Zane frowned.

"Yikes that was a hard hit!" Jaden winced.
"Trust me being attacked directly was way worse." Yuga Ohdo can definitely recall that Nail attacked him directly with Yggdrago at there first duel after he used Blizzard of Providence to destroy Sevens Road Magician.
"Wait, but that would be an OTK." Alexis realized.
"But he could've flinched." Romin admitted seeing Zane didn't move from the attack.
"Nothing else to do. I end my turn." Nail ended his turn with nothing else.

The capsule appeared and Zane took the card before it shattered.
"You're an interesting duelist but this duel is over." he told Nail calmly.
"Oh really?" Nail raised an interested eyebrow.
"Yes, and I have to thank you for making it possible." Zane told him. "I use the effect of Cyber Dragon Core in my graveyard to banish it and summon Cyber Dragon Herz in attack position."

"Your monster is powerful, but you lack any means to protect it or your life points." Zane told Nail. "Yggdrago, attack Cyber Dragon Herz with Ragnarok Tri-Burst Strike!"
Yggdrago charged a blast firing a blast fire blast as Nail watches as his own monster defeated him.

"Without... Power Bond or Cyber End Dragon?" Syrus asked off-guard by Zane's change of strategy this time usually doing either of those two but instead went with taking his opponent's monster, and using it against them.
"Your entire strategy revolved around one card, but you didn't set anything to protect it and it can't protect itself." Zane told Nail.
"...That's because of three things." Nail looked up with three fingers risen up before showing 1. "One using your opponent's monsters against them is a strategy not many people faced, and as such I didn't have any countermeasures in hand. Two usually I do have cards to protect Yggdrago from either the graveyard or my field but I didn't have a Providence on my field since you took my only one, and back at home had I been able to draw till I hold 5 at the draw phase, I get some defenses to protect it. And three, if you had destroyed Yggdrago I banish the three from the graveyard to summon it again."
Zane blinked but nodded. "If your deck revolves around drawing until you have five cards in your hand I would suggest more cards to take advantage of that. Trade-In or Pot of Greed could help."
"Yeah the Duel Rules here certainly puts Nail at a disadvantage." Yuga Ohdo admitted rubbing his head. "But Nail is still as strong as he is before, since we seen him at the Entrance Exams." Nail had managed to summon Yggdrago at the first turn at the time, and one with an OTK thanks to it's effect, and Tribute to the Doomed.
"Well, we'll have to have a rematch at some point." Zane noted calmly.
"I will take what you said in mind though." Nail said nodding as he stood up. "After all knowing how to play a card is an integral step to being a duelist not just knowing how to use it."
Syrus blinked hearing that confused. 'Knowing how to play a card?'
"Well I'm satisfied for now." Nail turned over to them. "Shall we start with the training?"
"Hold on, I want to see that card Syrus mentioned." Jaden grinned.
"Huh? Oh." Syrus looked over to Zane which they all turned over with.
He looked over before nodding.
A few minutes later...
"So he was unable to use this Power Bond to defeat Yggdrago which would end Nail before he can summon it back." Yuga Goha said as he crossed his arms from this.
"Attack Mudballman, Super Strident Blaze!"
A three headed Cyber Dragon charged firing a triple blue proton blast destroying Mudballman while Jaden had his head done from the losing duel. Then he raised his head with his grin at Zane. "It was an honor to duel you Zane."
"Likewise Jaden. You're a skilled duelist. I'm looking forward to seeing how the six of you do." Zane replied calmly while Syrus looked shocked but from the two duels he started to feel a bit more like he might be able to help Jaden.
"It's getting late now. Should we head back, and resume tomorrow?" Yuga Ohdo asked seeing it's a sunset.
"Yeah, that sounds good to me." Jaden nodded.
