Chapter 45: Return To Meteor Falls! Michael Suddenly Pieces Everything Together!
Twilight - "What are you talking about Michael?"
Michael - "Well..."
-A Few Moments Later-
Twilight - "What Do You Mean Zinnia Destroyed The Dimensional Shifter?!"
Michael pinched his nose.
Michael - "Can I at least explain how everything happened since you girls left here for Meteor Falls?"
Weiss - "Fine. But this better be good."
Michael - "Very well. Here's what happened."
-Earlier In The Day-
After Steven and the girls left for Meteor Falls, Michael, along with Delcatty and Swampert, worked their way around Mossdeep City, looking for ANY signs of trouble. They then met back up in front of the Space Center.
Michael - "You two find anything?"
Delcatty - "Nothing on my end."
Swampert - "Same here."
Michael - "Let's just head back inside then."
But just as they got back into the space center, they found it swarming with Team Aqua AND Team Magma grunts.
Michael - "What in the world?"
Swampert - 'They must've snuck in during our patrol."
Delcatty - "Then what are we standing around for? Let's take them down."
The trio then rushed into the fray, quickly taking down every Team Aqua and Team Magma grunt in front of them. Soon they reached the Celestial Observatory, where Matt and Tabitha were holding the scientists hostage.
Michael - "That's far enough you two."
Tabitha - "Oh great. Them."
Swampert - "That's right. Just keep whining."
Delcatty - "Yeah. We both beat you easily before, and we'll do so again."
Michael - "Couldn't have said that any better myself. Now hand over the device you two. Or the entire world's doomed."
Matt - "What was that? What? What do you mean the entire world is doomed?! Hrmm..."
Tabitha - "Ermm, haha..."
Matt/Tabitha - "Mwahahahaho!"
Matt - "We ain't laughing one bit. ...Punk. My bro Archie... Tabitha's boss Maxie..."
Tabitha - "We'd follow them for the rest of our lives. And yet you have the gall to stand there and say that everything we'd done for them up until now... The ties that bind us all together... All of it was mistake?"
Michael - "Not quite. Tell me. Did a young woman named Zinnia give Archie and Maxie the idea to awaken Lady Kyogre and Lord Groudon?"
Tabitha - "She did actually. Why do you ask?"
Michael - "I see. So it all makes sense then. You both do realize then you AND your teams were used?"
Matt - "What do you mean by that boy?"
Michael - "Quite simple really. Zinnia used you guys to awaken Lady Kyogre and Lord Groudon so that she'd have a way to awaken Lady Rayquaza. However, because of the way that I stopped those two from fighting each other, Zinnia had to come up with a new plan. And that involves using Rayquaza to get rid of the Meteoroid."
Tabitha - "Then we truly were pawns in someone else's game after all."
Michael - "Now again. Hand over the device to us and we'll let you both and your grunt leave unharmed."
Matt - "Sorry but no."
Tabitha - "The rocket here is filled to the brim with energy. It's even more awesome than the Ultimate Weapon from 3,000 years ago, right?"
Delcatty - "Wha-?!"
Matt - "All we need to do is use these Key Rings we found at Meteor Falls, and the energy inside the rocket will explode... It'd be like Mega Evolution for the rocket! Muwahahaha!"
Tabitha - "Matt's right. Who needs a Meteoroid? We're gonna bring an end to all things with our own power! The ones who will complete Project AZOTH and take the world back to it's beginnings..."
Matt/Tabitha - "...is us! Go Sharpedo/Camerupt!"
Michael sighed in annoyance.
Michael - "Good grief. Guess we're doing this the hard way then. Swampert, Delcatty, I choose you!"
Swampert/Delcatty - "Right!"
Michael quickly activated his Battle Disk, causing an aura to surround Matt and Tabitha's Pokémon.

Michael - "Lady Arceus, hear my plea! Let my bonds with Swampert and Delcatty bring forth the birth of a new power! Go, Mega Evolution and Mega Soul Evolution! Appear, Mega Swampert and Mega Soul Delcatty! Physical Sword, Special Sword, and Auto Charge! Mega Earth Fall Press on Mega Camerupt and Mega Soul Solar Thunder on Mega Sharpedo!"

Matt - "Just where..."
Tabitha - "...does this brat's strength come from?!"
(Music Ends)
Matt - "Whoa... Ohh... Ohhh..."
Tabitha - "Damnit! Are we just not good enough?!"
Michael - "Now to get the Dimension Shifter."
But just before Michael could make his way over to Matt and Tabitha, a Whismur appeared out of nowhere and snatched the Dimension Shifter from the Admin pair.
Aster - "I'll be taking that!"
Swampert - "Isn't that...?"
Aster then ran back behind Michael, Swampert, and Delcatty. There they saw Zinnia, who kindly took the Dimension Shifter from Aster.
Zinnia - "Nice one, Aster!"
Michael - "Zinnia?! What are you doing back here?"
Zinnia - "Thank you Aster dear. Now then... That's an impressive machine. Snap your fingers, the asteroid vanishes, and we all live happily ever after? Ahahahah! Indeed! It's like the current champ said! This thing is the best hope we have of saving the planet and everything on it. But you know... It could also be the worst tragedy imaginable for some other world and everything on it."
Michael - "You mean if we DO use the warp hole, we'll be not just sending the Meteoroid away from us, at also at a similar world to ours in another dimension as well, right?"
Zinnia - "That's exactly right. Hope for one world... Tragedy for another... You get it, don't you?"
Michael - "I do. To be honest, I never was big on this whole Warp Hole idea from the start. Yes, we're saving ourselves from a major disaster. But at the same time, we're also dooming the exact same kind of world in a parallel dimension to the exact same fate. One of which they may NOT have the means to defend themselves from."
Zinnia - "My people know it. From generation to generation, we pass along the lore about the distortions in the world borne by the Mega Evolution mechanism. And about the existence of another world, which we have long observed to be just like this one and yet not the same..."
Michael - "An alternate version of Hoenn, right? One that DOESN'T have Mega Evolution at all?"
Zinnia - "Yes. Filled with people and Pokémon just like us. But the path of Pokémon evolution took a completely different turn. Hell, Mega Evolution could even still be a big mystery in that world as well. The Kalos-Galar war from 3,000 years ago... It could've NEVER happened. The Ultimate Weapon may have never been built at all. And think about it. What if in that different Hoenn, one day out of the blue, a meteoroid appeared in the sky. Just what would happen to the people of that world, without the technology to destroy the Meteoroid or warp it away?"
Michael - "The answer's already obvious, regardless of how grim it is."
Zinnia then went and crushed the Dimension Shifter in her hand. Dr. Kozmo, however, was very angry at this decision.
Dr. Kozmo - "What kind of fool are you! You have no substantive proof, and yet you claim another world, one just like our own, exists? Out of this fantasy, you-you have destroyed our only hope!"
Michael - "That's far enough Dr. Kozmo!"
Dr. Kozmo was stunned at Michael talking back to him.
Michael - "Look. You can be angry all you want. But as far as my Aura Sight's concerned, Zinnia's 100% telling the truth."
Dr. Kozmo - "Oh really? Prove it then."
Michael's eyes then suddenly changed from brown to bright blue.
Michael - "Tell me an obvious lie."
Dr. Kozmo - "The Meteoroid WON'T kill us all."
Michael's eyes flashed red at Dr. Kozmo's obvious lie. He then spoke to Zinnia without looking at her.
Michael - "Zinnia. Is everything you just told us an outright lie."
Zinnia - "No."
No change. Dr. Kozmo and the others were completely stunned.
Dr. Kozmo - "So she really was telling the truth after all."
Suddenly, they all looked to see that Zinnia had disappeared.
Delcatty - "Where did she go?"
Michael - "We can worry about that later Delcatty. For now we need to quickly think of a new plan to stop the Meteoroid."
Swampert - "There's got to be something we can think of."
Matt and Tabitha then suddenly cried out.
Matt/Tabitha - "Our Key Rings are gone!"
That's when it all clicked for Michael.
Michael - "That's impossible..."
Delcatty - "What is it Michael?"
Michael - "We need to head to Team Aqua and Team Magma's bases! Now!"
Michael quickly raced out of the Space Center, Delcatty and Swampert right behind him. He then used his psychic powers to transport them to Lilycove City.
Michael - "I need to inform the girls about this. They have a right to know."
As the trio landed in Lilycove City, Michael quickly made a call to the girls.
