"Well," Kaguya began to answer. "The father of my son..." The ginger shifted her eyes about nervously. "Probably wants to remain anonymous."
"That's ridiculous." Botan countered. "Of course we need to know as to who the father is."
Grinning ear to ear, Yusuke got up and walked over. "Let me see the little guy. What's his name?"
"His name is Ryuu." Kaguya answered him, smiling in return. She stepped aside for Yusuke but kept near her son.
Ryuu looked upwards to keep his eyes on the detective's face.
Yusuke then crouched down to be more at his eye level. "Ryuu, huh? How old is the little guy?"
"Nine and a half months old actually. To my surprise, at this age he can already sit up straight and well on his own. It honestly freaked me out since the maternity books I had bought had stated that it would take up to a year's time before that happens. So, I donated the books to charity as a result." Kaguya explained.
"Yeah? My son Kenichi is almost five months old."
"Only a month old?" Kaguya looked towards Kenichi's way. "Hey, my son has personality. When it came to naming him, he immediately threw a fit when I first was going to give him the name Tenchi."
Ryuu wrinkled his nose in disgust when hearing and remembering the name.
Yusuke laughed. "Stop. You're upsetting him and me both."
Ryuu rapped his toy blocks against the high chair's table, scowling and growling like an angry feline.
"Yeah, I can tell he's all demon." Yusuke pointed out. "My son may or may not be demonic at all. You know, Mazoku genes and all. Most likely my son is merely human."
Kaguya nodded in understanding. "Well, have a better look at my boy then."
She pulled back Ryuu's hoodie, unveiling his shiny ebony wild hair, his hair swooping back slightly and sticking straight up to a point, his little bangs framing his face. His ebony hair then possessed more of a bit of a reddish sheen, sprigs of white towards the front near his bands were becoming more noticeable to the naked eye, forming the peculiar shape that resembled a flame.
Ryuu stared at Yusuke long and hard with his garnet colored eyes, those red orbs becoming more luminious and more of a true red with each passing second.
Yusuke blinked and then grinned, he stood up himself up, laughing. "I can't believe it!"
Botan came closer to get a better gander at the child. "Can't believe wh- OH MY GODS! IS... IS THAT..." She began giggling shortly afterwards.
"Why, it's a little Hiei Junior!" Yusuke laughed.
Botan laughed harder.
"Clearly, was Hiei drunk when he banged you?" Yusuke inquired of Kaguya.
Kaguya scowled. "Urameshi, shut up."
Ryuu glared at Yusuke and Botan more before their clothes then suddenly burst into flames. He then began laughing as he watched them panic as the two try to put the flames out.
Yukina and Kaguya both assist the two in dousing out the flames.
Ryuu continued laughing at the sorry sight with loud and profound mirth, himself possessing a very impish giggle of sheer delight.
"Ryuu, that's not a nice thing to do." Kaguya chided her son. "Sorry, about that, he doesn't realize that what he does is not acceptable."
"My words, that child is evil!" Botan accused.
Ryuu's glare softened somewhat soon after as his eyes began to tear up, himself beginning to cry.
"NO, HE IS NOT! He's just a baby!" Kaguya retorted whilst having picked up her child out of his seat rather quickly and held him protectively against her.
"Well, he's a very dangerous baby then." Botan corrected.
"He's just a baby." Kuwabara repeated in defense. "He knows not what he does."
"Kaguya's right, Ryuu is just a baby." Yukina joined. "My nephew is innocent."
"I suppose... so." Botan winced. "I'm not a demon, so, I only know what I'm told when concerning matters such as this."
Kaguya glared. "No one is born evil. Evil is taught, not made."
"Okay. No arguments there. I'm just in pain is all." Yusuke responded for both Botan and himself.
"Oh, let me help you with that." Yukina offered to heal him first and thus began doing so.
Hiei stared towards his son whilst the baby was being held in his mother's arms, well aware that Ryuu was certainly from his own seed.
Kaguya blushed when noticing him staring. "Want to hold your boy, Hiei?" She asked, smiling.
True that she had not seen him in awhile, but she could not find herself to stay angry at the fire demon.
"Come see your boy." She beseeched him.
Hiei walked over towards his mate and his progeny.
"He favors the colors red and orange, but he also likes black. I noticed when he chooses colors whilst finger painting."
"That baby is gonna set the world on fire." Yusuke laughed.
Kurama walked over and handed the child a flower. "Red as a rose?" He wanted to see the child's reaction.
Ryuu eyed the flower, focused on the bloom before leaning forward before he chomped down on the flower and thus began eating on the petals, the others staring at him for biting the bud and ravaging it, perhaps thinking it to be food.
"Oh, Ryuu, don't do that." Kaguya told the baby.
Kurama chuckled in response. "It's fine. The plant won't hurt him."
"I see he already has grown in his chompers." Yusuke pointed out, himself now completely healed by Yukina.
"That's to be expected. He is a demon after all." Kurama winked, smiling.
Kaguya handed Ryuu to his father.
Hiei carefully took his child in his grasp, himself becoming nervous as a response.
Ryuu stared back at him, nomming on the remainder of the rose, drooling a bit.
Hiei sniffed him. "My spawn." He greeted Ryuu.
"By the way, the tournament is in two weeks. It will take about a week, give or take, to arrive at the destination since we're going by boat." Yusuke informed.
"I suggest we leave early then." Kurama advised.
Yusuke nodded. "Tomorrow sounds good to all of you?"
The others agreed.
"Good. Then tonight we all start packing."
