Given his history with fairies, he decides to investigate to make sure they aren't doing anything evil. This oneshot crossed over with the TikTok series Cafae Latte.

Merlin decides not to follow the absurd diktats of destiny. And so does Arthur and Morgana. Merlin leaves with Morgana to conquer Camelot and restore magic through force. Arthur teams up with the witchfinder to counter them and avenge all those who fell to the evil of magic. Who shall win, Arthur and Aredian or Merlin and Morgana? Crossposted from AO3.
