Takuya: Isn't that your favorite holiday?

ZAFT: Yep! XD

DarkFoxKit: Takuya? What are you doing here? Weren't you supposed to be with the Fentons for the Holidays?

Takuya: Thanksgiving is over, right? So, where's Andy?

DarkFoxKit: He said he's staying with his family for the Holidays, so I thought you'd be doing the same.

Takuya: I was getting pranked like crazy by the twins… I needed a break… ^^'

ZAFT: Well, back you go! You need to spend time with the twins more!

Takuya: Wha-

*Takuya vanished*

DarkFoxKit: Well then, let's get to the chapter, and I can get back to Pokemon Violet.

Chapter 13: A Ghostly Mutation

The next morning, Andy noticed something was a little off about Danny. When they woke up, Danny was sniffling a bit, but he assured Andy it was likely just some allergies to dust.

Danny and Andy got dressed and headed down to the kitchen for breakfast. Unfortunately, since Jack and Maddie were sick, they couldn't join in on breakfast today. They had to stay in quarantine in their lab until they got better. Jazz was the only one waiting for the boys at breakfast.

"It's actually quite nice and quiet without our parents' antics going on at the table, especially with Mom working on their latest invention at the table," Jazz remarked as Andy was pouring cereal in Danny's and Takuya's bowls.

"I'll say. It's kinda nice, but I can't help feeling concerned for them, since they got sick and all." Takuya said as he poured some milk into his bowl.

Andy, instead of pouring cereal in his own bowl, decided to put a couple of bread into a toaster. "I called Sam yesterday. She's still feeling pretty sick, so we won't be seeing her at school today. Too bad, maybe she could talk some sense into Tucker…"

"Something going on between you guys and Tucker?" Jazz asked.

"He and Danny kind of had a fight," Andy answered. At least that's what Danny told me.

"Wow, it's rare Danny and Tucker have a fight." Takuya noted. "It must've been pretty bad if you were hoping Sam could talk some sense into Tucker."

"Sam's usually been the voice of reason in our group, well… at least one those two knuckleheads listen to," Andy remarked as the toaster DINGED, releasing freshly toasted bread.

Takuya chuckled. "Well, we'd better hope this wasn't too bad of a fight. I'd hate to see Tucker and Danny fight again."

Danny frowned a little as he crunched on his cereal. He could've sworn his cereal tasted better than this. Maybe it was getting stale. "Tucker's not quite feeling himself lately…"

Andy had his toasts on his plate, and began to spread butter and jam on them. Once he was done with that, he sat down at the table and began munching on his crunchy bread.

Danny shuddered. "I don't know how you could stand eating toast, bro…"

"I don't know why you hate toast, bro," Andy replied.

"I just…" Danny shivered. "It tastes gross." In truth, toast reminded him of being toasted alive by the Fenton Portal.

"You never had a problem with toast before," Andy noted, raising an eyebrow.

Danny sighed. "Nevermind."

"Do you want me to try talking to Tucker?" Jazz offered.

"No… It's… Tucker and I can work it out. We have before after a fight." Danny replied, not wanting to have anyone else get involved.

"Besides, it's more of a personal thing between them," Andy explained to Jazz.

"Right, I guess interfering would make things worse," Jazz sighed, seeing Andy's logic. "Alright, but let me know if you could use some help."

Danny just gave a nod, and sniffled a little.

"Hey, Danny, are you feeling okay?" Takuya asked, noting Danny's sniffling and how he looked a bit pale.

"I'm fine," Danny replied, sounding tired. "Just a little tired, and maybe allergies acting up."

Andy frowned, he kind of shared similar allergies to his brother, so he wasn't quite buying that. However, he knew how stubborn Danny was. Unless Danny couldn't move, he was going to push himself to go to school, especially when he had a fight with one of his friends, he would feel the need to try to make it up to them as soon as possible.

"Just don't push yourself," Andy said. "You might be catching the bug that's been going around."

Danny sniffled again. "Maybe, but I don't think it is." He said before taking another bite of his cereal. "I swore this tasted better before."

"It tastes fine to me," Takuya said. "Maybe Andy's right. If you are coming down with something, you're not going to want to eat."

Jazz frowned. "Should I call the school and tell them to-"

"No! No, no, I'm fine! Really! It's just a little runny nose, that's all," Danny quickly spoke up. "Jeez, you guys need to stop fussing over every little thing."

Takuya sighed. "Okay, fine. But when we are at school, if you feel worse, you will be going to the nurse's office, even if I have to drag you there myself."

"Aye, aye, Captain Worry," Danny grumbled.

Danny, Andy, Takuya, and Jazz were at school now. The day went on as normal, unfortunately they hadn't seen any signs of Tucker yet. But Danny and Takuya knew he was in school somewhere, they could both sense him. Andy was surprised they were starting to recognize the ghostly signature Tucker put off rather than thinking it was some random ghost.

When the bell rang, and homeroom ended, everyone was walking down the hallway, getting their things from their lockers. Mr. Lancer was heading over to the water fountain to drink some water.

As Mr. Lancer leaned over the water fountain to turn on the water, the knob turned on its own and splashed the poor teacher in the face with water.

"Moby Dick!" Mr. Lancer exclaimed.

While he was trying to recover from that, his belt came loose on its own, falling to the floor.

"I'm losing my mind! And my pants!" Mr. Lancer shouted, shocked about what was happening, and also embarrassed as the other students in the area began laughing at the teacher in boxers. "Laugh it up, students, I still have the authority to send you to the principal's office and call your parents!"

Every student who had laughed stopped laughing at the threat. Mr. Lancer quickly pulled up his pants, trying to save some dignity, though the water fountain sprayed him in the face as he tried. Mr. Lancer had to move away from the crazy water fountain, something he would either need to fix or have removed later.

Tucker, who had been invisible during that little prank, flew behind a wall before returning to visibility. He laughed to himself, enjoying that little prank he did with the boring English teacher.

Danny and Andy had been nearby when this was happening, since their lockers were close to each other. Danny had sensed Tucker nearby, and they saw the little prank on Mr. Lancer unfolding. They approached the laughing, mischievous ghost boy.

"What was that?" Andy asked.

"Oh, just a prank~" Tucker said as he turned to face the twins. "You didn't think I would not play a prank on stuffy Mr. Lancer, did you? Besides, you two play pranks all the time, so what's the big deal?"

"Well, for one, I'm trying to lay off the pranks," Andy answered. "And another, I only prank when it's appropriate, or knowing my target wouldn't be severely hurt or humiliated to the point that it damages their reputation and self esteem. I really regret that I went too far a few times with my pranks when I was younger. And also, I don't have ghost powers, I pull pranks that don't make people question their sanity."

"Besides…" Danny sniffled a little. "Using your powers on innocent people is usually a big 'don't' in the superhero comics and other media."

"Relax, guys, it's not like I'm using my powers to hurt anyone," Tucker chuckled, feeling like the twins were being a little ridiculous about this, the twins who used to prank people all the time.

Then Tucker noticed something. "Dude, Danny, are you okay? You don't look that well."

"Allergies…" Danny muttered.

"He might be getting Sam's cold," Andy said.

"Bro…" Danny grumbled.

"It's more likely than allergies, bro," Andy grumbled back.

Danny shook his head, deciding he needed to stay on track. "Whatever. Listen, Tucker, about the superhero ghost thing…"

"Don't worry about it, Phantom can keep the superhero stuff to himself. I'm in this for the kicks." Tucker grinned.

Danny groaned. He didn't like that Tucker had just said that. Of all the times for Andy to be here too… I can't use my powers to see what is going on with Tucker…

"What did we just say?" Andy groaned, feeling like Tucker just heard what they said in one ear and it went out the other. "Besides, I thought you having ghost powers would be a good thing since you could help Phantom-"

"I think it's pretty clear Phantom doesn't need or want my help," Tucker bitterly responded. "So stop mentioning him. I've got other things to do, so you two goodie-goodies just continue on with your school life and let me have some fun."

Andy raised an eyebrow. He noticed some hostility radiating from Tucker when he mentioned Phantom. Was he jealous of Phantom?

Danny groaned. "Tucker, it's not like we're trying to ruin things for you. We're just concerned."

"Well, don't be. I can handle myself just fine!" Tucker snipped before he turned intangible and flew through the wall again.

Andy grumbled as he walked up to the wall and kicked it slightly, careful not to actually hurt himself. "The limitations of being human…"

Danny frowned. "It's… I don't like what's going on with Tucker. He seems to be more… hostile almost."

"I don't want to believe our parents' teachings about ghosts, but following their logic, it seems Tucker's ghost powers are making him more ghost-like… or at least a malevolent ghost. I don't want to think Phantom could become that way one day," Andy muttered. "But Phantom's been around for a few months now, and he hasn't changed as far as I can tell. Tucker only had his ghost powers for a day and he's already acting more like a stereotypical mischievous, malevolent ghost. Maybe that's what would happen if humans got ghost powers…?"

Danny for some reason grew a bit pale at Andy's words. "I… I don't want to make assumptions like that, bro… For all we know, it could be that genie ghost who messed with the wish."

"Hmm…" Andy began thinking. "I hope Phantom keeps an eye on Tucker then, he should let us know if things get any better or worse. Hopefully the former…"

Danny nodded. "Yeah... Hopefully." He said with a sigh. Of all… I really would like to know how to create copies of myself! If that's even possible!

Turns out, Danny didn't need to worry about keeping an eye on Tucker. Everything Tucker did was quickly spread across the school like wildfire. First of all, there was that rumor about an invisible man, or a floating tray, cutting the serving line at the cafeteria during lunch. The kids could hear someone humming as the invisible man was getting some food and putting it on his tray. This caused everyone in the line to flee for their lives.

During band practice, Timmy the Tuba was playing on his tuba when suddenly he nearly choked on some purple liquid that his tuba was suddenly, unexplainably, filled with. This caused the band practice to be dismissed early so the band teacher could take Timmy to the nurse's office.

"Wow, it looks like someone is having a good time." Takuya muttered, having sensed Tucker going by him while invisible.

By the time school came to an end for the day, and all the students were walking out of the building, Tucker grinned as he waited for Paulina to walk by. This was probably the best part of his ghost powers, something he couldn't even fathom to why Danny never tried this.

"There's one little ghost trick I've yet to try. The ghost-imposed hook-up!" Tucker exclaimed eagerly as he saw his target approaching.

At the same time, Danny and Takuya's ghost senses went off, and they quickly saw Tucker waiting behind a tree as Paulina was walking in his direction. Andy was with them, and he frowned.

They all saw Tucker turning himself intangible before he flew into Paulina's body, taking her over. Andy shuddered when he saw Paulina's eyes glow blue. He had Sidney take over his body before, but that was with permission. It was disturbing to see how easy it was for a ghost to just take over someone without a second thought.

"Crud…" Danny hissed under his breath. "Tucker really went too far this time." And I need to transform into Phantom to help get Tucker away from Paulina!

"Well, this is bad." Andy frowned. "Where's Phantom? Is he still here?"

"Uh…" Danny began hesitantly. "Maybe he's contemplating on what he should do? I mean interfering now would cause more panic among the student body."

Takuya frowned. "That is a good point. Having two ghosts appearing in one body would be a bad idea."

"Let's see if we can try to talk to Tucker," Andy suggested. "We need him to see that this is getting out of hand."

"Wait, uh…" Danny began. "If all 3 of us tried to talk to him, that could make him feel cornered. Only one of us should try talking to him."

"But who?" Takuya asked.

"I'll try," Andy volunteered. "I've been friends with Tucker as long as Danny has, and I'm usually better with… words. And I don't look like I'm about to sneeze in his face."

Danny grumbled as he looked away from Andy. "It's just allergies…"

"Sure it is…" Takuya snickered. "Don't worry, Andy. I'll keep an eye on this sick knucklehead while you talk to Tucker."

"You do that," Andy chuckled before he walked over to the overshadowed Paulina.

'Paulina' looked at Andy and grinned. "I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to start dating Tucker Foley. He's much cooler than everyone else here, so stop chasing me."

"Tucker, I know that's you in there. You haven't quite learned how to disguise your voice yet while in another person's body," Andy pointed out.

'Paulina' frowned. "Why do you have to ruin my fun, Andy?" 'Paulina' asked, but in Tucker's voice.

"Your fun has been pretty mean to the school, in case you haven't noticed. You made several students go hungry because they were too scared to get their lunch. And you sent Timmy to the nurse's office," Andy pointed out. "Don't you think you should give it a break?"

"You don't know how long I've wanted to do some of that stuff! Now I can, and I won't let you ruin it for me." 'Paulina' retorted.

"You always wanted to scare people and send someone to the nurse's office?" Andy asked. "Do you hear yourself right now?"

"I don't really care." 'Paulina' said. "You're just jealous because I have ghost powers and you don't! You don't know what it's like being free from human limitations. Being able to fly as high as you want, to go invisible so nobody can ever catch you, to go through solid objects so you can keep going for as long as you want and nobody can touch you. And look at this, I can even take over someone's body, and make them go out with me. Why shouldn't I take advantage of this? The only reason you're being a party pooper is because you're just a human, and you wish you could do all the things I can."

Andy frowned and was about to say something when 'Paulina' spoke up again. "Admit it, Andy! You know that envious feeling, I've felt it burn through me for months now. You've hung out with Phantom long enough to know what it's like to be a human next to a ghost! You even turned into a drill sergeant for the rest of us because you know we're too weak to have a chance to be on equal grounds against a ghost. All we can do is run around, dodge, and shield ourselves from a ghost attack. Not once did we ever go on the offensive in training!"

Andy, despite knowing Tucker wasn't quite himself, couldn't help but feel he was right to some degree. Andy knew none of them stood a chance against ghosts on equal footing. Even Agunimon would have trouble against ghosts, and he actually had powers. The only reason they could confront these ghosts was because of Phantom, who was a ghost himself. But Andy had always worried about the day Phantom wouldn't be enough, it was why he was okay with Tucker having ghost powers, because Tucker could help them and Phantom. But with how Tucker had been acting now… he was less of a friend, and more of another ghost they had to confront, which Andy didn't want.

"Tucker… I'm starting to think maybe humans shouldn't have ghost powers if this is how they would act…" Andy said.

"Maybe you're just saying that to cover up the fact you want ghost powers too!" 'Paulina' retorted.

"This isn't about me, Tucker! This is about you and how you're abusing your powers!" Andy snapped back, starting to lose his own patience now. "I can't believe this is how you chose to use your ghost powers!"

"Babazita's genie gave me these powers and I'll use them how I want!" 'Paulina' replied. "Maybe you should ask and see if she'll give you powers too, then you'll know how freeing this is, and how I can't just be contained!"

Tucker's reminder of where Desiree came from, due to Tucker's lack of knowledge, or memory, of the genie's name, made Andy realize something. Danny had mentioned it before, but it didn't really cross Andy's mind until now. The wish, granted by a genie ghost of all things, that was what was messing up Tucker, not the powers themselves. At least Andy hoped that was the case. Because if it was, then there was a way to reverse this.

"Alright, you know what? Go on and have your fun," Andy suddenly said. "See where that will get you." Enjoy those powers while you still can, because I'm sure as heck going to find a way to bring TUCKER back from you, Ghost… As far as I'm concerned, you're not Tucker, you're just a ghost taking over my best friend.

'Paulina' sneered at Andy. "Glad you see it my way, Andy. I'll make sure you have some 'innocent' ghostly fun as well."

"I'm sure you will," Andy said before walking away from 'Paulina', and he approached Danny and Takuya.

"What was that? You just gave up!" Takuya yelled.

"Quiet down!" Andy hissed at his cousin. "With how Tucker is, he's not going to listen to reason. Trying to push it will only make him angry."

"So, what's going on?" Danny asked with a slight sniffle. "What's happening with Tucker?"

"As far as I can tell, he's not really Tucker anymore. He's a ghost with Tucker's worst traits cranked up to 11," Andy answered. "I… don't know if it's partly because of the powers, but I know it isn't just because of the powers. Danny, remember how you said it might be because of the genie?"

Danny nodded. "Yeah, why?" He then paled. "Wait… I was right?"

"I think you are," Andy answered. "That genie, Desiree, likes twisting people's wishes, right? Tucker just said he wanted to have ghost powers too, he never specified that he didn't want to actually become a ghost, or become a twisted version of himself to act more like a stereotypical ghost."

Takuya groaned. "Great… we have a ghost that is slowly taking over Tucker's body, and a ghost genie that has created this mess."

"Well, what can we do? We can't just… go after Tucker." Danny frowned.

"We don't have to," Andy replied. "We need to go to the root of all this, Desiree."

"How would we find her? She could be anywhere," Takuya pointed out.

"Tucker reminded me where Desiree came from. She was being sold in a bottle by Babazita at the Swap Meet," Andy pointed out. "If anyone would know how to find Desiree, it would be her."

"Then let's find Babazita and find out what we can about Desiree." Danny said with resolve in his voice.

"We should probably bring Phantom with us," Takuya suggested. "That way he'll know about the issue and can help us with Desiree."

"Good idea!" Andy smiled. "He should be in this school, can you sense him?"

Takuya tried to sense Phantom, but frowned. "No… I can't."

Danny paled. "Uh… maybe he… left?" Crap! Why do you do this to me, Andy?!

"But where would Phantom have gone?" Takuya asked with a frown on his face.

Andy frowned, he thought Phantom was going to keep an eye on Tucker, he wasn't sure why Phantom would just leave. That didn't seem like Phantom, unless there was an emergency.

"Hey, uh, we can let Phantom know later, right?" Danny spoke up, trying not to sound nervous. "We need to talk to Babazita."

"Yeah," Andy agreed. "We better go, the longer we wait, the more damages 'Tucker' will do."

"Then let's stop standing around yapping and get moving!" Takuya exclaimed.

Luckily for the boys, Babazita was still at the Swap Meet despite the cotton candy disaster. It looked like the people had cleaned up most of the cotton candy already.

"Hello, boys, what can I help you with today?" Babazita asked as the 3 of them approached her. "Perhaps I could interest you in a crystal ball that will let you see into the future?"

"Actually… we would like to know about the genie in a bottle you were selling last time we were here." Danny said before sniffling a bit.

"You look like you could use some tissues, or some hot soup," Babazita remarked.

Danny grumbled.

"But about that genie," Babazita began. "Unfortunately she had escaped, so I cannot help you with that."

"We're not here to ask you to catch her," Andy clarified. Although it's a wonder how you had her bottle in the first place. "We wanted to know any information you can give us about her."

"Yeah. Any information would be very helpful." Takuya agreed.

Danny sneezed, facing away from the other three. "Ugh…"

"And maybe we'll take your advice on giving him tissues and hot soup," Takuya added.

"Very well then," Babazita replied. "Desiree was once a harem girl. She had been promised her heart's desires, and her own kingdom, by a young prince. She had pleased the prince with her graceful dances and beauty. Unfortunately, not all good things could last. Desiree was soon banished from the land by the prince's jealous wife."

"Really?" Danny blinked. "What happened to her after that?"

"She died of a broken heart at an old age." Babazita replied. "After her death, her ghost roamed around, granting the deepest desires in people's hearts, but at a great personal cost."

Takuya frowned. "That's… kinda sad actually…"

"It must've made Desiree somewhat bitter, and caused her to start twisting wishes…" Danny mused.

"It must be her Obsession, or it could be something more," Babazita said before shrugging. "But that's about all I know about the situation with Desiree."

"Thank you, your information will be very helpful to us." Andy smiled.

"Be careful if you're trying to catch her, she's a wily one~" Babazita grinned.

As the three boys walked off, Takuya looked at the twins. "So, what now? Do we make some kind of wish to get Desiree's attention or what?"

"Maybe…" Andy thought. "We should try being near a place people make wishes all the time, Desiree is more likely to be there."

"How about the fountain in the park? Sometimes people toss coins in there and make wishes." Danny suggested.

"That's a good place to go," Andy agreed. "The problem is do we want to summon Desiree without Phantom being there?"

"Uh…" Danny hesitated. "Um… well…" He tried to come up with a plausible explanation.

"Maybe we could try, I mean Danny's got the Fenton Thermos, and we have our Fenton Rods," Takuya pointed out. "Maybe between the 3 of us, we'll be able to catch her?"

Andy tapped his head for a moment. "I wonder… Maybe we can do this without Phantom. I'll still have to talk to him later, but if I'm right, Desiree shouldn't be hard to catch."

Danny smiled. "Yeah, I mean, two Fenton Rods and a Fenton Thermos is quite a bit for three boys trying to catch a ghost."

"I don't mean our weapons, and our numbers, bro," Andy said.

Danny blinked. "What did you mean?"

"If I'm right, then you'll see. First, let's get to the park," Andy replied. "We've got some wishes to make."

Danny sighed. "Well, we aren't going to save Tucker by just standing around." He admitted, gesturing for Andy and Takuya to follow him to the park.

The 3 of them were standing in front of the fountain in the park. Despite it still being pretty warm in the season, the leaves on the trees were already changing color. Giving the park quite the Autumn feel.

"Alright, let's see if this will work," Danny sniffled as he flicked a quarter into the water.

The quarter landed into the water with a small splash. The 3 boys waited for a minute, but nothing happened.

"Ugh… great…" Danny grumbled. "It looks like it didn't work."

"Did Tucker say his wish out loud when he made it?" Takuya asked Andy as he looked at the younger twin.

Danny sneezed. "I hate my stuffed up nose…"

"Yeah, he did," Andy answered. "So we need to say a wish out loud."

"Let me try then," Takuya said as he flicked a 100 coin yen into the fountain. "I wish for a banana sundae."

There was some kind of green mist around Takuya, but it disappeared rather quickly. Takuya blinked, feeling heat rising up inside him before the mist disappeared.

"What was that?" Danny blinked, surprised and confused.

"I don't know…" Takuya said as he looked around. "I felt heat building inside me and then that mist vanished."

"Could be your special talent protecting you," Andy guessed, not using the direct words due to Danny, and their unawareness of Danny's ghost half, being there.

"Huh…" Takuya looked down at his device that was in his pocket. Did that armor have something to do with it?

"Looks like it's your turn to try, bro." Danny said before sniffling again.

"Maybe you should've wished to be healthy again," Andy grumbled, as Danny let out a sneeze away from them.

Andy dug into his pocket for a quarter. "I guess I'll go for something generic. I wish I had a million dollars."

Andy flicked the quarter into the fountain. Hey, if they failed to stop Desiree from granting his wish, his family could be rich, unless Desiree brings the dollars to life that eats people or something.

As soon as the coin hit the water's surface, the green mist appeared around, this time surrounding the wishmaker, that being Andy.

"So you have desired, and so it will be~" Desiree's voice said.

Danny and Takuya got tense as the mist began to creep around Andy, getting closer to his body.

Takuya didn't want Andy to have his wish granted though, as he was aware the wish could go awry thanks to the twisting Desiree tended to do.

Danny used some of his ghost powers as discreetly as possible on his hands to phase through Desiree's mist and grabbed onto Andy, pulling him away from the mist.

"You leave him alone!" Danny shouted.

This angered Desiree as Danny interfered with what she wanted to do. "Young intruder? You dare interfere with my spellbinding!?"

"Yes, we do!" Takuya hissed as he got out his Fenton Rod, an odd look in his eyes again.

"Listen, Desiree, we want you to take away Tucker's ghost powers, pronto!" Danny demanded, holding his Fenton Thermos.

"I cannot," Desiree replied. "Only he would have the ability to reverse his own wish. And why would he? He loves having the powers of a high level ghost! By noon tomorrow, your friend's fate will be sealed. My spell has increased the ghost inside of him to the point of taking over, and shedding his humanity for good. And with his jealousy growing, he'll continue to get stronger until he will become the most powerful ghost boy in the world!"

Takuya, Andy, and Danny were all staring in shock.

"Tucker? He isn't that jealous!" Danny exclaimed before thinking for a bit. "Uh… is he?"

"More than you know." Desiree grinned. "You should know something about ghosts, especially young ghost children. Their emotions can often dictate how they will turn out, and how powerful they can become. A ghost child's jealousy and frustration will become rage and rebellious, not even ghost parents would be able to stop them if they become strong enough. He will be complete~"

"You make it sound like Tucker is an experiment you're doing." Andy frowned. "Like you're hoping to see how strong he can get with your magic."

"Oh, why would I do something like that? I just merely granted his heart's desire~" Desiree grinned.

"Your cartoony, mustache twirling speech about Tucker being the most powerful ghost boy in the world, and how he would be 'complete' may have something to do with it?" Andy pointed out.

Danny and Takuya were trying not to laugh at Andy's remark, especially since this was supposed to be a serious situation.

Desiree felt something burning on her face at Andy's comment.

"Silence! I will not have you make fun of me!" Desiree snapped as she turned her hands into hammers.

Takuya acted fast and ran in front of Andy and Danny, using the Fenton Rod to block the hammers. Ugh… Of all the times… I really should've snuck off to transform! At least my strength would be enhanced enough to block these hammers easily! Takuya thought as he grunted, trying to use his human strength to push the hammers back.

"H-hang on!" Danny said as he got out the Fenton Thermos again.

Desiree moved back before she turned her hand into a noosed rope and had it wrap around Danny's waist. Danny yelped as he was pulled up into the air and slammed down into a public bench, breaking it. Danny managed to push some of his ghostly energy into his body's endurance before that happened, so it wouldn't break his bones or anything. But he was definitely going to have to answer some very tough questions after this was over.

"Danny!" Andy called out in concern. "What-"

Andy blinked, confused that Danny managed to stand back up like having his body smashed against the bench hard enough to break it was nothing to him. "You… uh… can… stand?"

"Y-Yeah… I guess that bench needed some possible replacing." Danny said, trying to cover up the fact he had basically smashed a bench.

They didn't have time to talk anymore, Desiree was coming at them quickly.

"Look out, guys!" Takuya shouted.

Andy took out his Fenton Pistol and shot out an ecto bullet at Desiree. The bullet shot through her head. Though it didn't kill her, it stung her enough to push her back and hit the ground.

"Nice shot, bro!" Danny cheered.

Before anyone could react, Desiree created a third arm before growing them to large levels, and grabbing Danny, Andy, and Takuya, smashing them into the ground, keeping them pinned. Andy groaned, being in the most pain out of the 3 as he was only human and had no other powers to protect him from the blunt force.

"Andy!" Takuya cried, trying to reach for his now discarded Fenton Rod that had been knocked from his grip when he had been pinned down. "Damn it! I can't… reach… my rod…"

Danny was very tempted to use his ghost powers to escape, but with Andy and Takuya there, he was basically forced to remain in his human form. "Of all the…" He groaned.

Andy opened his eyes, feeling his ears ringing a little. But thanks to his training, his body was fit enough to not break from hitting the concrete ground. "Okay… I think we should end this now…"

"What do you mean by that? We're trapped!" Takuya shouted.

Andy looked up, seeing the Fenton Thermos Danny dropped upon being grabbed. Andy reached up and grabbed it.

"Remember who we're dealing with… a ghost who grants wishes," Andy explained before he opened the thermos's cap. "Desiree! I've got one more wish for you! I wish you would be sucked into this thermos and can't get out until one of us releases you!"

Desiree gasped, knowing what it meant for her. "What?! NO! I… I must obey…" She said before she felt herself going into the Fenton Thermos on Andy's wish. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! PAY!"

As soon as Desiree was sucked into the thermos, Andy had one more thing to say. "Get in line!"

Andy put the cap on after he finished what he wanted to say. "You know, we really should've thought of doing that 3 days ago…"

"We have to hurry!" Takuya said as he stood up, grabbing his Fenton Rod. "We have to get to the school to save Tucker!"

"Yes, I'm fine, thanks for asking," Andy grumbled. "Are you? Okay, cool."

"Someone's feeling snarky today, but… I'm glad you're okay," Danny said.

"Yeah…" Andy said, looking at Danny, not forgetting how Danny didn't look injured at all. "Me too."

"Sorry for not asking how you were…" Takuya sheepishly apologized. "But we're kinda running on borrowed time here."

"I don't know if Tucker's at school anymore, but we'll go see," Andy said.

Despite spending most of the day looking for Tucker, the group didn't find him anywhere. He wasn't at school, and he wasn't at home. His parents were worried about him, his mother noted Tucker had been acting strange lately, and it was worrying her and her husband. Tucker wasn't at the Nasty Burger, or the mall, or any of his usual hang outs.

When it started getting late, Andy decided to talk to Phantom at central park to fill him in on what was happening. There was something else on Andy's mind than just Tucker, but Tucker was their priority right now.

"So we managed to catch Desiree and send her into the Ghost Zone," Andy finished. "We need to find Tucker before noon tomorrow, but we couldn't find him anywhere today. But chances are, he'll be at school tomorrow."

"And you want me to help you with Tucker?" Phantom asked as he floated in the air a few inches off the ground.

"Yes. We need a ghost to fight a ghost," Andy confirmed. "Agunimon is strong, but he can't fly or go through walls. If anyone can help us help Tucker, it's you."

"You can count on my help, Andy. I won't let Tucker turn into a ghost." Phantom promised.

"Thank you," Andy said gratefully. "But what happened to you yesterday? I thought you were keeping an eye on Tucker at school, but you seemed to have left."

Phantom looked a bit nervous. "Um… well… School was letting out and I figured you and your friends would be doing that." He said, trying to give a plausible explanation.

"Well…" Andy frowned a little. I guess I shouldn't have pushed him to go to the school in the first place. It must've been really uncomfortable for him. "I guess that's fair. But… we'll definitely need you when we confront Tucker. If he is changing as rapidly as Desiree said, he's not very likely to listen to reason. I've already tried to talk to him, but it's like he only hears what he wants to hear."

Phantom frowned. "That is a problem. I hate to say it, but we may need Agunimon's help as well. I mean, sure, I can handle Tucker, but if he is growing as powerful as you say very quickly, we may need the extra help."

"Maybe I can get Takuya to evolve before we confront Tucker, though he'll have to hide to do that if this happens at school like I think it would," Andy said. "I'm sorry for always needing to ask for your help."

"N-no, no need to apologize, Andy! It's fine, really!" Phantom exclaimed. "I don't mind helping you out."

Andy gave a smile at Phantom. "Heh, well you are a part of our circle of friends, so I guess it makes sense you'd want to help out too."

Phantom blushed, his cheeks turning green from the ectoplasm, which Andy noted. Andy didn't know ghosts could blush, so that was interesting.

"Ah… yeah, that's right!" Phantom said, trying to hide his blush. Aw man… If I wasn't in my ghost form, my face would be as red as a beet!

"I'll see you at school tomorrow. Let me know if you find Tucker," Andy said as he got back onto his moped.

"I will, I promise," Phantom said before Andy rode away from the park.

"What do you mean you won't let me go with you!?" Danny shouted.

"Look at you, bro! You're as pale as a ghost, and you can barely move without sneezing!" Andy pointed out, having a napkin covering his own mouth and nose to keep from getting Danny's cold. "You're staying home. Takuya, Phantom, and I will handle Tucker."

Danny sneezed again. "Ugh… I hate this stuffy nose…" He muttered. Boy, am I glad I have a ghost form. At least I can still help Andy and Takuya, just… not as Danny Fenton.

Danny realized this was actually a blessing in disguise, it was giving him an easy way to show up at school as Phantom without having to worry about having to make excuses to leave when they were about to confront Tucker. But Danny couldn't make it look like he was just okay with staying, that would make Andy suspicious, and Andy was already suspicious enough.

"Are you sure I can't do anything to help?" Danny asked.

"I think it would be more helpful if you stayed home and focused on getting better. We can't afford you to spread that cold to everyone else," Andy answered, still having the napkin over his mouth and nose. "I'll let Jazz know to fix you up some soup before Takuya and I leave."

"Aww…" Danny pouted, putting on a convincing act of not wanting to stay home. "AH-CHOO! Ugh… fine… but only because of this stupid runny nose…"

"Yeah, well, we'll let you know how things go with Tucker," Andy said as he opened the door. "And no sneaking out."

Andy left the room, and Danny was immediately disregarding Andy's last statement as he transformed into his ghost form, glad that his stuffy nose, sore throat, and chills had gone down when he transformed.

"Now to get to the school." Phantom muttered before he turned intangible and flew out of the room, headed straight for Casper High. I just hope we're not too late to save Tucker…

Andy and Takuya hurried to school, arriving early. They only had a single, plain toast for breakfast, they couldn't waste any time. Tucker's fate depended on them finding him before noon after all. They needed every second they could get. Jazz was rather confused as to why Andy and Takuya left in such a hurry, with only Andy telling her to make some chicken noodle soup for Danny, who was sick and was staying home today.

They found Phantom flying in the empty hallways, so Andy was glad to see he was here too. The boys were looking in every room, every locker, every nook and cranny for the mutating ghost boy. They had to go to classes, at least Takuya and Andy did, so they had to leave the search up to Phantom a few times.

When it was getting close to noon, however, Andy and Takuya began ditching class. They didn't want to, but their friend's life was on the line, they couldn't waste anymore time in class right now. They would deal with the consequences later.

They met up with Phantom again.

"It's only a quarter until noon and still no sign of Tucker. I'm about to pull my hair out, where is that boy!?" Andy growled in frustration.

"I've been searching all over the school, but I haven't seen or sensed him." Phantom grumbled. "It's like he's hiding or something."

Takuya frowned. "I think we need to search places where he could've gone."

"But where? I've been looking all over this place!" Phantom groaned, feeling like pulling his own hair out.

Suddenly, a familiar blue mist came out of Phantom's mouth, and Takuya felt that feeling of cold and hot again.

"You sense him?" Andy asked. "Where?"

Phantom and Takuya looked at the door they were standing next to. There was a sign on top of the door that read 'school records'. Andy stared at the door, feeling incredibly stupid.

"Ugh… great… I should've guessed…" Phantom muttered under his breath.

Takuya looked at Andy. "Should I… you know…?" He asked, curious if he should become Agunimon.

"If there's nobody else here, and there aren't any cameras, then yes," Andy replied. "Better hurry, we don't have much time."

Takuya nodded before running off to find an empty classroom. Much to his luck, the first room he came across was just that. Looking around, Takuya didn't see any cameras and smiled to himself. He knew it was safe now. Takuya held out his D-Tector and the blue digital form of his Human Spirit appeared visible on the screen of his D-Tector as he formed a ring of fractal coding on his left hand. He swiped the D-Tector over the coding, calling out the familiar phrase he would come to know by heart. "Execute! Spirit Evolution!" His clothes ripped away as his body became digital, and the process began. Coding surrounded him as the power of the Spirit flowed into his body. Red armor formed and latched onto his body as his hair changed to blonde and became long and wild. His height increased, as did his strength and agility. His eyes snapped open, now a brilliant blue instead of brown, and his canine teeth were sharper than a human's as well. He landed, crying out his name. "Agunimon!"

Now evolved, Agunimon could feel something in the air, a feeling he didn't like. He knew there was only one other ghost in the area besides Phantom and immediately concluded it was Tucker.

"Let me go in first," Andy said. "I want to try one last time to reason with him. If things go sour… well… guess we're ready for that."

Phantom frowned as Agunimon joined them. "Okay… Just… be careful, Andy." Phantom said as he gently grabbed Andy's arm and turned Andy intangible so he could enter the room due to the school staff keeping this door locked.

It was weird to be able to walk through a solid matter like this door. Andy tensed a little as he walked through the door. He wanted to fanboy a little when he saw that worked, but he had to focus. He saw Tucker immediately, sitting at a computer. Tucker was grinning maliciously as he pulled up his permanent records. He was changing his grades to 'A's. He was only good in 2 subjects at this school, computers, and sewing. Nobody gave a crap about 'sewing', especially when a boy was doing it. Tucker was going to make sure he was a 'straight A' student the easy way.

"Tucker, you shouldn't do that," Andy spoke up.

Tucker looked back at Andy. "Why not? I like to think of this as… academic enrichment." He said with a smug grin. "Want me to do yours or Danny's? I mean look at it this way, Danny will be a shoe-in for the astronauts when he grows up."

"As tempting as that is, he wouldn't get in with his own merits," Andy said. "But that's not important right now. Listen to me, Tucker, you're in real danger."

"What do you mean I'm in danger?" Tucker asked.

"Do you remember that wish you made to the genie?" Andy asked.

"Yeah? What about it?" Tucker asked, frowning a little.

"We had a talk with her yesterday," Andy began. "The wish isn't a good one. She twisted it. You wished you had ghost powers, but that could be an easy way to change you in a way you didn't want. You're turning into an actual ghost, Tucker, you're not just a kid with ghost powers. And if we don't get that ghost out of you soon, you won't be Tucker anymore."

Tucker frowned some more. One part of him was saying it was Andy, his friend, but the other, more prominent part was saying otherwise. Tucker growled at Andy.

"You're just jealous that I have ghost powers, and you want to take them away from me!" Tucker snapped, his body slowly turning green with his teeth becoming more like fangs.

Andy frowned, seeing that his words weren't getting through to Tucker, and he was starting to get taken over by the ghost. "Take it easy, Tucker. We're friends, remember?"

"We're only friends on your terms!" Tucker growled back as his eyes turned red and his nails became like claws. "You only want to be friends so you can take my ghost powers!"

Andy frowned, knowing he would have to defend himself. He took out his Fenton Rod and extended it. "If that's what you believe… then I'm sorry it has to be this way. PHANTOM! AGUNIMON! IT'S TIME!"

Phantom blasted down the door with an ecto-ray, causing Tucker to glance at the open doorway. There, Phantom and Agunimon were standing, blocking Tucker's way out.

"You guys!" Tucker growled.

"Tucker, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way," Phantom warned. "Just come with us, we can help you."

"We don't want to fight you," Agunimon said gently, trying to not react in a way that would set Tucker off. "Please, just calm down."

"I should've known. You all want to get rid of my ghost powers so badly that you all came here to catch me and send me back to the Ghost Zone, is that it!?" Tucker growled. "Fine then. You want to know what I say? I say no more Danny Phantom and big haired armored dudes!"

"Danny Phantom?" Andy blinked.

There was no time for Phantom to do any damage control, because Tucker was on the attack. Tucker took a deep breath and blew at the 3, it was so strong it pushed all three of them out of the room. Phantom grabbed onto Agunimon and Andy, turning them intangible to try to minimize the damage as much as possible, especially for Andy who was only human. But Phantom couldn't keep them all intangible for long, and he lost his intangibility when they flew into a chemistry lab. Phantom hit a blackboard, with Agunimon smashing him, and Andy was safely in Agunimon's arms. Agunimon had made sure to catch Andy so he wouldn't get hurt.

"Are you okay?" Agunimon asked Andy before he felt a sudden sensation that unnerved him, like someone, or something was passing through his body. He felt chills run down his spine and throughout his body, only for it to vanish a second later. When the feeling faded, Agunimon could see that Phantom was now in front of him and Andy.

"Are you two okay?" Phantom asked, a little dazed from being smashed into the blackboard.

"Y-yeah, I think so," Andy answered. "Agunimon kept me safe from the impact."

"I'm fine, but geez… having a ghost phase through me was not a fun experience…" Agunimon said as he released Andy from his grip.

"Good," Phantom said. "And… I kinda had to because you pretty much smooshed me against the blackboard…"

"S-sorry about that,"Agunimon apologized.

"But Andy was right, Tucker really is becoming more malevolent, and ghost-like." Phantom frowned, a little worried if that could be him one day.

Agunimon frowned as well as he got back on his feet. "We can't just fight him… but if he's not going to listen to words, we have no choice."

"Here he comes!" Andy warned, seeing Tucker phasing through the wall.

"There you are!" Tucker growled.

"Tucker, please, there's not much time!" Andy begged.

"You've got that right, your times are up!" Tucker snapped as he created a large ball of ecto energy before he fired at them.

The ball of ecto energy was about the size of a basketball, and it was coming in fast. Thinking quickly, Phantom grabbed onto Andy and flew away from the incoming ecto energy while Agunimon jumped away. Phantom carried Andy through the air, going in a loop-de-loop to avoid Tucker's ghost rays. Agunimon fired out Pyro Darts to get Tucker to stop. This only angered Tucker and he fired his ghost rays at Agunimon.

Agunimon saw the ghost rays incoming and dodged the ghost rays, thankful for Andy's training sessions. Wow, who knew Andy's training would come in handy? He thought before he saw another ghost ray coming at him and threw up his armored forearms to take the blast. His armor took it easily, but the impact pushed Agunimon back a fair distance due to Tucker's ghost ray's power.

Phantom had put Andy down as he hid under a table. Andy ran up at Tucker, smacking his side with a Fenton Rod to get him to stop firing at Agunimon, and knocking him down for a bit. Tucker hissed from the ground.

"Hah! Is that the best you can do!? That swing was weak!" Tucker snapped before he fired green eye lasers at Andy.

Andy yelped as he held up his rod horizontally to block the eye lasers. Come on, think! What can get through to Tucker? Something that not even the ghost could influence away from Tucker…

Andy then got an idea. When Tucker stopped firing his eye lasers at Andy, he began to fire more ghost rays at him. Andy began putting his dodge training to the test. Andy ran, jumped, deflected the blast with his Fenton Rod until Agunimon came in with a fire punch.

"Pyro Punch!" Agunimon gave Tucker a mean left hook to the face, his left fist coated in fire.

Tucker was sent back into a wall, but the ghost boy wasn't out yet. He summoned a blue ball of electricity and fired at Agunimon.

Agunimon saw the electrical ball coming at him and jumped to the side, barely avoiding getting hit. Geez… I didn't think Tucker would be able to do that!

Andy hurried over to Phantom, deciding to ask about his first name being 'Danny' later as they were in the middle of a fight.

"Phantom, can you do me a favor?" Andy asked.

"What is it?" Phantom questioned.

"We need to get Tucker back to the lab, but we have to distract him and get him to follow us," Andy quickly said. "Just under this lab should be the girl's locker room, that should distract him."

Phantom blushed green at that news. "Oh… Oh geez… Yeah… that would definitely distract Tucker."

"Come on, hurry," Andy said, taking Phantom's arm.

"R-right!" Phantom flew up, holding onto Andy. "Hey! Sucker Phantom! You can't catch us!"

Tucker glared at Phantom heatedly. "It's Tucker Phantom!"

Phantom just gave Tucker a cheeky grin before he turned himself and Andy intangible, sinking down into the floor to get to the girl's locker turned intangible and flew down after them, leaving Agunimon alone.

Realizing Andy and Phantom would need his help, Agunimon ran from the chemistry lab, hoping to get to the gym before Phantom, Andy, and Tucker could resume the fight.

Phantom and Andy were in the girl's locker room. Andy shut his eyes, blushing, not wanting to look at anything inappropriate. Phantom quickly flew into a locker with Andy before Tucker flew into the room. It didn't take long for Tucker to realize where he was, and wondered why he hadn't been in here before.

""Huh… so this is what the girl's locker room looks like." Tucker said with a slightly perverted grin on his face.

Seizing their chance, Phantom flew himself and Andy out of the locker. Andy had a pink bra in his hands, he mentally apologized to the girl who owned these, and when Phantom flew up to Tucker's face, Andy blinded Tucker's eyes with the bra. Andy then held his Fenton Rod horizontally to smash it into Tucker's stomach, allowing Phantom to carry them both into the gym, where they dropped Tucker into a basketball hoop. Tucker fell onto his face with the bra landing on his butt.

Phantom couldn't help but snicker at seeing the sight of the bra on Tucker's butt.

Agunimon, who had just made his way to the gym, saw what was going on and at once felt his face heating up when he saw Tucker and the bra on his butt. He tried to avert his gaze, but it was hard with that bra on Tucker's butt.

Andy looked over at a clock on the wall, while Phantom and Agunimon were distracted with the bra situation, he saw it was already 11:55. "Only 5 minutes left! Focus, you two!"

Phantom at once had a good quip. He looked at Tucker and laughed. "Hah! You got no game, Sucker Phantom!" He taunted Tucker.

This angered Tucker even more, and this caused his ghostly body to grow into a hulk-like structure, his eyes were now pure, blood red, his teeth were sharp, his claws were big and sharp, some of his clothes were ripped.

"I really hope I don't have that to look forward to upon death…" Andy muttered.

Behind Tucker, Agunimon could sense the power in Tucker was growing more and more ghost-like. Chills ran down his back as he realized they were running out of time.

An idea came to Agunimon and he ran out from behind Tucker so he was next to Andy and Phantom. "I'll bet you can't catch us! You were never that good at sports~" Agunimon taunted as he stuck out his tongue at the end.

Tucker let out an animalistic roar as he flew at Agunimon, pouncing him into the ground. Agunimon hadn't expected Tucker to be that quick.

"Get him off you!" Phantom yelled as he flew down with Andy.

"Put me down, Phantom! I'm going to try to help!" Andy quickly said.

Agunimon was struggling against Tucker's teeth and claws, trying to rip through his armor. Agunimon was pushing back, but losing. As strong as Agunimon was, Tucker was getting stronger by the second. Then from the corner of Agunimon's eyes, he saw Andy running towards them. He had his Fenton Rod facing out, tackling the bulking Tucker as hard as he could with the rod. This led to both Andy and Tucker falling to the ground together.

Andy opened his eyes, realizing the precarious situation he was in. If this went on for any longer, if Tucker took Andy as a hostage, they would run out of time. Andy hated to do this, but what he had in mind may give Phantom the time he needed to save Tucker.

Andy looked at Tucker, hoping his risky plan would work. He had to put his trust in Phantom and Agunimon now. "You know what, Tucker? You were right. I am jealous. Why do you get to have cool ghost powers while I'm just an ordinary human being? But you know what could work for both of us? If you overshadow me. That way, I get to experience those cool powers too."

Tucker blinked before smiling. "You know what? I think I will!" He sneered before he flew into Andy's body suddenly.

Agunimon sat up and saw this happen right in front of him. "No… NO!" He exclaimed, with worry now coursing through him.

'Andy' grinned maliciously as he turned to face Agunimon and Phantom, his eyes now red. Though he was looking at Phantom. "Look at who I have now, Phantom~ Whatcha gonna do about it? Seems Andy wanted powers just as much as I did!"

Phantom was shocked and confused. Andy never showed any signs of being jealous like Tucker was, then again, Phantom didn't know Tucker was that jealous either. He didn't think Andy would just let Tucker overshadow him, but… Phantom realized something, because Tucker overshadowed Andy rather than taking him hostage, this gave Phantom the opportunity he needed to lead Tucker back to the lab. Unlike Agunimon, Phantom knew how fast Tucker was, and flying back would be much faster than running back.

"Oh yeah? Then let's see how well you can keep up with me with that body!" Phantom shouted before he turned intangible and flew out of the gym, with 'Andy' quickly following him.

Again, Agunimon was left alone before he decided to follow 'Andy' and Phantom. He was not going to let Tucker hurt Andy or Phantom! However, as he was running down the streets from the gym, Agunimon found himself at a disadvantage. Geez… I really need to learn how to fly… It would be so much faster than just running all the time!

Phantom flew as 'Andy' flew after him. Tucker was pretty fast, even in Andy's body, but due to Andy's body being human, he couldn't fly as fast as he wanted to, so he had some trouble catching Phantom. Phantom turned invisible to throw Tucker off.

"Where are you!? Where!?" 'Andy' shouted before a blue mist escaped his mouth, sensing Phantom's presence.

Phantom had always been the one to sense other ghosts, but it was the first time for him to be on the other side of that ghost sense, and it was really weird to see it coming out of Andy's mouth. Still, Phantom had to keep his composure.

"What's the matter? Can't catch what you can't see?" Phantom taunted as he was hovering behind Tucker.

'Andy' tried to grab Phantom, but Phantom turned invisible and intangible, easily slipping through 'Andy's' grasp. While Tucker had a better hold on his powers, Phantom still had the advantage of experience and training.

Phantom was now flying over Fenton Works, and looked around, but didn't see 'Andy' anywhere. "Where is he? He had to have followed me… it's almost noon."

Down below, Agunimon had made his way back to Fenton Works as well, grateful that his speed and reflexes were enhanced in his current form.

Just then, Agunimon got those chills and heat down his spine as Phantom's ghost sense went off.

Tucker, in Andy's body, appeared before Phantom. "Yeah, what's the dizzle, fizzle?!" Tucker boomed.

'Andy' grabbed onto Phantom and phased them both down towards the lab. Andy himself wasn't all that conscious, but he was able to be conscious enough to try to subconsciously influence Tucker to bring Phantom into the lab. Tucker himself didn't know why he wanted to bring Phantom into the lab, he just felt like it.

Agunimon had arrived at Fenton Works in time to see 'Andy' pushing Phantom into the house. He had a pretty good idea where they were going. He ran to the house before realizing… the door was locked. He would either need to blast it down or use a spare key. Luckily for him, everyone in this house had a spare key on them. Unluckily for him, he had to revert to his human self to get it.

Deciding that would waste too much time, Agunimon mentally apologized to his aunt and uncle before slamming his armored shoulder into the door, knocking it off the hinges. I can come up with an excuse later on.

Agunimon ran down into the lab. He saw Phantom being held by 'Andy' in front of the Ghost Zone.

"Shit…" Agunimon swore to himself before he ran over, intending on knocking 'Andy' away from Phantom. Please don't let me be too late!

Phantom then suddenly let out an unexpected sneeze in 'Andy's' face.

"Ew! Cover your mouth!" 'Andy' shouted, but was still holding Phantom.

Agunimon tackled 'Andy', making him drop Phantom to the floor.

"Let's see if a ghost can be expunged from a human!" Agunimon hissed dangerously.

Phantom looked at a nearby clock, they had about 2 minutes left. They just needed to get 'Andy' through the Fenton Ghost Catcher.

'Andy', who was pinned to the wall by Agunimon, looked up at Agunimon before giving him a sinister smirk. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Agunimon was suddenly lifted up by a mysterious and unseen force. He yelped as he was struggling against this force and was smashed into a wall.

"Agunimon!" Phantom shouted before he flew at 'Andy'. He knew how to get 'Andy' free, but it was risky, as he had no idea if Tucker, or Tucker's ghost powers, would be expunged from Andy's body. He had to free two people from the ghost powers that were taking over Tucker.

'Andy' looked over at Phantom. "Maybe it's about time I send you into the Ghost Zone!"

'Andy' fired several ghost rays at Phantom. Phantom gasped before he began to dodge the ghost rays, somehow his human training started to come in handy for this. But this didn't last long, as 'Andy' held out one hand, and stopped Phantom dead in his tracks. Phantom couldn't move, it was like some invisible force had a tight grip on his body, a grip he couldn't phase out of.

"My, how easy it is for you to crumble when you can't move. Is that the best the great hero Phantom can do? You need to do more training," 'Andy' remarked coldly, sounding more like a twisted Andy rather than a twisted Tucker.

Seeing Phantom was pinned, Agunimon knew he had to act, but what could he do? What could he use to get Tucker out of Andy's body?! A glance at Phantom revealed the ghost boy was pointing with a finger, unseen by Tucker, at something. Agunimon followed Phantom's finger and saw where he was pointing.

Agunimon realized what Phantom was getting at. He gave a subtle nod before he got back to his feet, running at 'Andy'. He ignited fire around his fists as a shout escaped him. Agunimon made sure he was facing the direction of that… thing Phantom had pointed out to him. I hope this works!

There was less than a minute left, Agunimon knew he only had one shot at this. 'Andy' began to turn to Agunimon, and looked like he was about to do something, but something stopped him, making him hesitate.

The hesitation was all Agunimon needed. Upon reaching 'Andy', Agunimon let out another roar before he slammed his fire-coated fists against 'Andy' and pushed him through that device that looked like a dreamcatcher. 'Andy' let out a yell as he went through the net of the dreamcatcher. Andy and Tucker were quickly separated, and a large, Tucker-looking ghost flew out of both of them.

Despite being overshadowed earlier, Andy was still conscious, though he was pretty dazed. Tucker blinked a few times, and was shocked when he saw the big, hulking ghost floating over them. But he recognized the clothing and the hat the ghost wore as his own.

"Is… is that me…?" Tucker asked, horrified.

Agunimon could see Tucker and Andy seemed to be okay, but his attention was mostly on the ghost above them. But he didn't need to do anything, because Phantom was on the job.

Phantom held up a Fenton Thermos and sucked in the ghost. "No, it's not. Not anymore…" Phantom sighed, glad they had managed to save Tucker.

"Oh… oh my gosh…" Tucker paled as he realized Andy had been telling him the truth about the ghost powers being too dangerous. "Andy, D- I mean… Phantom, I'm really sorry… I… I just couldn't control myself."

Andy shook his head. "It's… okay, Tucker… Desiree likely had you influenced with her spell as well so you wouldn't think anything was wrong."

"We were able to save you, but barely." Agunimon admitted as he walked over to Tucker, Andy and Phantom. "I don't think any of us would want to experience this again, considering how close we came to losing you."

"Y-yeah… I… I guess none of this would've happened if I wasn't jealous of… um… Phantom's ghost powers," Tucker apologized.

"I guess I should've been a little less of a show off around you…" Phantom admitted, starting to sniffle. Oh-no, the runny nose is coming to my ghost form…

"Wait, are you… getting sick?" Agunimon asked, surprised.

Andy rubbed his face, feeling something wet and slimy. "... Phantom… what is on my face?"

"Um… ghost snot?" Phantom sheepishly admitted. "I may have… sneezed on you?"

"You WHAT!?" Andy shouted.

Agunimon looked decidedly grossed out. "... ew…"

"EW!? I'm the one who got ghost snot in his face! If anyone has the right to go 'ew', it's ME!" Andy shouted, freaking out.

"Uh… by the way, Andy… you might want to tell U- Jack and Maddie that they need a new front door…" Agunimon began sheepishly.

Andy and Phantom stared at Agunimon. "Why?"

"Um…" Agunimon blushed, his red facial markings vanishing. "I… kinda… broke it down…?"

Andy's right eye twitched, and even Phantom looked pretty annoyed by this.

"Agunimon… don't be surprised if you wake up tomorrow underwater somewhere," Andy warned.

Agunimon paled, but he had been aware there would be consequences to what he did. "Uh… right… That's… duly noted…"

"But… thank you… for helping save me and Tucker," Andy sighed, realizing Agunimon had a good reason for doing what he did.

"Yeah…" Tucker sheepishly agreed. "Um… are we still friends…?"

"Of course, we're always friends, even if we fight." Phantom smiled.

"I'm sure Danny feels the same way," Andy agreed. "And you know we always have your back."

Agunimon nodded with a smile of his own. "Yeah, that's for sure."

Andy then frowned. "Ghost snot doesn't make humans sick, right…?"

The next day… Andy hated how sick he was. He, Danny, and even Tucker, were all sitting on the couch in the living room. They were wearing their PJs, wrapped up in blankets, and had ice packs on their heads to try to keep the fever down.

"Geez…" Takuya grumbled as he walked in, carrying a tray with three bowls of soup on it. "Do you three share everything?"

"Don't patronize me…" Andy grumbled. "And I was about to break a record by not getting sick for once when my twin was…"

"That's twins for ya… sharing everything…" Tucker said jokingly before sneezing, facing away from Takuya.

"Hey… this isn't so bad, right?" Danny chuckled, trying to look on the bright side. "At least we get to spend some time away from school, and ghosts, for a bit. I also heard Sam was feeling better too."

"Mom and Dad are feeling better enough to fix up the door," Andy agreed. "Which is good, because that tarp wasn't very good at keeping the draft out."

"Yeah… I wonder if Aunt Maddie and Uncle Jack figured out how it got busted." Takuya wondered, knowing full well he was responsible for that.

"Who cares? I'm just glad there is no more ghost genie for hopefully a long time." Danny said with a grin before he sneezed as well. Takuya made sure he was a good distance away from Danny when he sneezed.

"I know you guys are sick, but please keep your sneezes away from me! I don't want to get sick myself!" Takuya grumbled.

"You really should put a mask on when dealing with sick people," Jazz chuckled, coming over with some medicine. "These cold medicines will help you guys feel better in no time. Make sure you get plenty of liquids and rest, and you should be able to go back to school by Thursday."

Andy groaned, he hated the taste of medicine, he also hated having a stuffy nose, sore throat, and not wanting to move around much. There was a lot of work to be done, especially with the mystery that was Danny, and Phantom's first name. But no, he couldn't focus on any of that right now due to this stupid cold that a ghost some how gave him with his stupid snot, that Andy would've loved to analyzed, but had been in a panic to wash it all off to think about keeping a sample.

"I still can't believe you got covered in ghost snot, Andy." Tucker grinned.

"That sounds gross." Takuya muttered.

Jazz rolled her eyes. "Don't be so dramatic. I know snot is gross, but it's no ectoplasm, or whatever."

"Stop talking about it or I'm going to puke…" Andy grumbled. I wonder if a ghost can get sick…

Takuya sighed. "Fine… but only because you're already sick enough." He said to Andy.

"But hey, maybe this whole being sick thing is good. It forces us to rest, especially you, Mr. Drill Sergeant," Danny chuckled.

Andy just grumbled, he'd rather overwork himself than be sick any day. But maybe some rest wasn't so bad, at least he knew they would be back on their feet in a few days.

Titanic X: DarkFoxKit: Desiree's a tough one, but she's not too bad if you know how to work the wish granting system.

ZAFT: And boy, does Andy know how to work it. XD

pokemon fan 1991: DarkFoxKit: I see you really like Deadpool. But I don't have much to say in regards of him. I will say that it is unfortunate that Dorimon isn't here anymore. But I've had different plans for Andy. Dorimon was an unplanned character in the last story.

ZAFT: You will like the new story's twists though. XD

Son Sandy: DarkFoxKit: Yeah, Andy's ghost form was a little tricky for me when I was trying to think of how he would look. I didn't want him to look that much different from Danny's ghost form, since they are identical twins, but I also didn't want them looking exactly the same. I remembered reading another DP twin fanfic where the twin brother had a more complex, fancy looking hazmat suit. I decided to stick with the simple suit. Making it dark blue instead of black. A color similar to black, and could be mistaken for black, but it isn't black. As for Andy's eyes being purple, yeah, I thought purple eyes looked better on him. I didn't go for the inverse blue eyes like a lot of people thought I would simply because that was too predictable, and I didn't want Andy to have blue eyes.

ZAFT: It's interesting to hear how your designed Andy's ghost form. XD

CT7567Rules: DarkFoxKit: Ah, Aladdin's Genie, too bad there isn't a friend like him here. XD As for Dash being the same bully, not quite. It's more subtle here, but the dragon incident really had shaken him more than he's letting on.

ZAFT: You will see how he changes as the story goes along. XD
