Chapter 27: A Rocky Relationship

Yokomon watched as Bukamon managed to slap the ball into the goal, which Motimon, who was the goalie, wasn't able to stop.

"Yeah! I did it!" Bukamon smiled.

"You look like you wanted to join in," Andy noted to Yokomon.

"No way, it's a baby's game," Yokomon huffed.

"Well, aren't you considered to be a baby level Digimon?" Takuya questioned.

"That doesn't mean I have to like it," Yokomon grumbled.

Lopmon walked over to Andy and Takuya before sitting down.

"Hey, Lopmon, what's up?" Andy asked.

"I'm not allowed to partake in the game," Lopmon grumbled. "Because I'm bigger than the other kids, so it wouldn't be fair."

"That's kinda harsh." Takuya frowned. "I kinda get why, but it still doesn't seem fair."

Pagumon jumped and slammed the ball hard with his ears, and the ball ended up landing near Yokomon. The other kids stopped as they looked at Yokomon.

"Aww, what's the matter? The ball too tough for you to hit back little pink plant?" Pagumon teased.

Yokomon glared at Pagumon before she headbutted the ball into Pagumon's face. Pagumon fell back a few feet before he started crying loudly. "WAAAAH! YOKOMON HIT ME IN THE FACE WITH THE BALL!"

Takuya grinned at Yokomon's reaction. "Nice hit." He chuckled.

But Togemon didn't think it was. "Yokomon! What are you thinking?!"

"Oh? Was that not the point of the game? My bad," Yokomon replied with no regrets.

Takuya sweatdropped. Yep, just a bit like Sam… Maybe a bit too much like Sam…

Togemon didn't look too happy at Yokomon's response. "You know better than to do stuff like this."

"Yeah, whatever," Yokomon grumbled.

"Perhaps we should get back inside," Togemon sighed. "I need to look at Pagumon's wounds, make sure they're not serious. It's almost snack time anyways."

The other kids whined about having their game cut short, and they didn't look too happy at Yokomon.

"Nice going, Yokomon."

"We were actually having fun too."

"Maybe you should've been Sourmon instead of Yokomon."

Andy was starting to see why Yokomon didn't want to play with these kids. She didn't seem to get along with them very well.

Yokomon just huffed and looked away, trying to hide her emotions at the words. "Well sorry for hitting the ball so hard!"

A little later, when everyone was back inside the school, Yokomon was sitting at her desk, though nobody paid her any mind. Except Pagumon, who was giving her the stink eye. Pagumon had a small bandage on his forehead.

"I feel bad for Yokomon," Lopmon said. "I get the feeling the other kids don't like her very much."

"What gave that away, their attitude towards her?" Patamon sarcastically replied. "I'm just surprised they seemed more annoyed at Yokomon rather than Pagumon, who hasn't been the most pleasant in the class."

"Something seems wrong about that." Takuya said with a small frown on his face. "But I can't figure out why. It may be Yokomon's personality, but it seems like it could be deeper than that." He then sighed. "I may just be reading too deeply into things though."

"Yeah, I wonder what's going on with them too." Lopmon frowned.

"Okay everyone!" Togemon spoke up, getting everyone's attention as she brought a large basket in front of her, it appeared to be filled with some kind of white pastry. "Open wide!"

"What does she mean 'open-" Andy began to ask when Togemon suddenly began rapidly punching the surprisingly durable pastry at everyone, and Andy ended up getting smacked in the face.

Takuya yelped as he got a pastry to the face as well. "Wah!" He almost fell over from the force of the hit.

All the baby and In-Training Digimon students all jumped up with open mouths to catch the pastries being punched at them.

Lopmon and Patamon quickly followed the smaller Digimon's examples and opened up their mouths to avoid being hit in the face.

"I hope everyone enjoys, there's more where that came from~" Togemon grinned.

Andy pulled the pastry off of his face. A little more warning would've been nice for us first timers… What even is this?

Takuya pulled his own pastry off of his face. "Ow… Togemon has a real good punch… I hope I didn't lose a tooth…"

Andy tasted the pastry. "Oh… wow, whatever this is, it's good."

Andy didn't hesitate to bite into the pastry. Despite the durableness, it was easy to chew into. And every chew Andy did, he could taste more of the flavor. He could taste the powder sugar, some kind of cream inside, as well as what tasted like cherry flavored candy gushing on his tongue.

Takuya curiously looked at his pastry before biting into it as well. "Wow! That is good!" He said with a grin before he took another bite eagerly.

"It's like a cream filled donut with one of those cherry flavored sauce inside," Andy complimented.

"Yeah, it's really good! I want more!" Lopmon smiled after swallowing his pastry.

Patamon was eating his own pastry, and despite his efforts to appear unimpressed, he had a smile on his face as he took bite after bite of the pastry. How long has it been since I actually had something homemade like this?

Togemon began punching more pastries at the students, this time Andy and Takuya were ready and had their mouths open to catch the pastry.

After snack time was over, Togemon began to take out the matts. "Okay, everyone! Time to settle down, it's nap time now."

"Nap time?" Andy asked, surprised. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, this is essentially kindergarten. I guess I just… forgot nap time used to be a thing in school.

Takuya was a bit surprised as well, but he kept his mouth shut; he didn't want to embarrass himself. Wow… how long has it been since I had nap time for myself?

"That's right," Togemon replied to Andy's question. "After playing and eating, it's usually a good time to have the children settle down for a nap. It wouldn't do if they fell asleep during a lesson because they were too sleepy or tired."

Wish high school would think of that instead of thinking a kid who falls asleep is just purposefully tuning out the teacher. Andy chuckled. Danny had fallen asleep a few times from pulling all night ghost catching. Speaking of sleeping… When was the last time I actually got any rest since the Ember incident?

Takuya chuckled. "If only teachers in our world had that kind of thinking."

"They do, but only if you're in kindergarten," Andy sighed.

"A nap actually sounds really good right about now. I haven't slept since I left Primary Village, and I've been through a lot since then," Lopmon commented before yawning.

Takuya chuckled again. "Maybe a nap would do all of us good, especially since the whole misunderstanding thing that happened was kinda draining on us emotionally."

"So it sounds like we all could use a nap ourselves," Patamon chuckled. Oh gosh, sleep… it was so rare back then for me…

Togemon had to get out more matts for Takuya and Andy since they were too tall to lay comfortably on the normal matts. She then got pillows for the Baby and In-Training Digimon to lay on, though she had to get more pillows for the humans and the two Rookie Digimon.

"I hope that makes you two comfortable enough. We don't usually have human students here," Togemon said to Takuya and Andy.

"Nah, it's fine. It's like a little nest actually." Takuya commented with a grin as he curled under the pile of pillows.

"Yeah, this is pretty cozy," Andy added as he got himself comfortable in the pile of pillows as well.

"Would you mind if I slept near you, Andy?" Lopmon requested.

"I don't mind, Lopmon," Andy chuckled. "That is if you don't mind it if I end up cuddling with you."

Lopmon smiled as he moved over to Andy and laid down.

Patamon wordlessly moved over to Takuya's pile of pillows and landed on the nearest one, curling up as he wrapped his wings/ears around himself, looking like a small burrito.

After everyone got nice and comfortable, Togemon quietly walked over to her desk and sat down. She always used this time to just unwind while the kids were asleep.

Andy and Lopmon fell asleep rather quickly. Andy hadn't realized how exhausted he was until he finally laid down.

Patamon opened his eyes before he spoke to Takuya quietly. "Takuya, may I speak with you?"

Takuya looked back at Patamon. "What is it?" He asked quietly as well, trying to not wake Andy, Lopmon, or the other baby Digimon.

"My apologies, I wanted to speak with you alone since I know you hold the Spirit of Agunimon," Patamon explained, staying as quiet as possible. "There is something important that I think you should know."

"Huh? Important? What do you mean?" Takuya asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"There are a few things I should tell you, but one of them can wait," Patamon said. "The first thing… Do you have your Beast Spirit yet?"

Takuya blinked. "Beast Spirit? Um… I only have Agunimon's Spirit. So, I don't think so." Wait… Togemon explained the Legendary Warriors split into the Human and Beast Spirits. I must have only the Human Spirit then.

"Okay… I would suggest looking for your Beast Spirit as soon as possible then. Agunimon alone is strong, but he only has half of his strength without the Beast Spirit," Patamon informed.

"I will find the Beast Spirit then." Takuya said, nodding. "Is that what you wanted to talk to me about?"

"No, but it was important for you to know," Patamon replied. "The other thing I wanted to talk to you about… you and Andy plan to go back to the human world soon, right?"

Takuya nodded. "Yeah, we do, but after we explore a bit more of this world. With the time difference going on, we can afford to spend some time here."

"I would not take that too lightly. It's true that time passes here much faster than in your world, but that doesn't mean time isn't still moving in your world," Patamon pointed out. "The longer you stay here, the more you risk. And this world is also dangerous, Legendary Warrior or not. There is also…"

Patamon stopped and didn't seem to want to continue what he was saying.

"What? What else is there?" Takuya asked, wondering what caused Patamon to stop talking so suddenly.

"There is one other thing I should tell you, but I'd rather wait until we're done with school," Patamon answered. "It would cause panic if what I said is overheard by one of the children, or Togemon herself."

Takuya frowned, but nodded. "Okay, I guess that makes sense if it's bad enough." He admitted. But what could warrant waiting until after the school day is over? Is it really that bad?

"For now, get some rest," Patamon instructed. "I have a feeling we'll need it."

Takuya frowned, but nodded. "Okay. I'll see if I can get some rest." He said as he closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. Surprisingly, Takuya did conk out after a few minutes.

Where… am I…? Everything is… hazy… I think I'm… on a road? No… a path? A hallway? Everything is so foggy… I shouldn't be here… should I? I should… go back to sleep… but… I can't just stay here… I should… find someone… I should… walk… through the haze…

Andy began to walk forward, his eyes glazed, his mind all foggy. He didn't know where he was going, or where he was. He just had the instinct to walk forward.

A glowing form began to follow Andy, glowing green eyes watching the boy to make sure nothing happened to him. The form had white hair and a black and white hazmat suit on as well as tan skin too.

What is Andy doing here? The form wondered to himself.

The form flew in front of Andy. Andy didn't even seem to see the form, and kept going like he wasn't even there. The form looked closely at Andy, noticing that something wasn't right with the boy. Andy didn't appear to be in his right mind at the moment, and was acting like a zombie.

Um… is Andy a zombie right now? The form wondered, floating into Andy's line of sight. He waved a hand in front of Andy's face, but there was no reaction. Yup. He's a total zombie. Is he… sleepwalking?

Andy continued walking down the hallway, seeing nothing but the floor, the walls, and the haze. I should… keep going… I'm bound… to find someone… right?

Andy wasn't sure how long he had been walking, it could've been a few minutes, it could've been hours, or days even. But eventually, he saw a door. He found himself stopping in front of it. What's this…? A… door?

The form behind Andy gasped. Oh no… No, don't open that! The form thought in alarm.

The form knew if he disturbed Andy too much, he could put the boy in shock, and that would put Andy's mental health in danger. So instead of dragging him away, the form gently maneuvered Andy away from the door, hoping the boy would ignore it.

Andy didn't know what happened, one second there was a door in front of him, and the next, the door disappeared. Andy mindlessly reached out, but there was no door, it was like it just vanished into the mist. Oh… I guess it wasn't real…

Andy began to walk down the hallway again, forgetting about the 'disappearing door'.

Okay, so far so good… The form following Andy thought, keeping an eye on Andy still. But I can't drop my guard, just in case he comes across another door or something.

The form continued to quietly follow Andy. He had to carefully lead Andy away from the doors. If Andy went through any of the doors, it would be bad for everyone involved. Luckily, it would seem zombie Andy didn't question why the doors would suddenly be out of his reach, and would keep going. But the form didn't know how long Andy would keep going.

The form decided maybe he should try to step in before Andy went any further. If Andy went in too deep, it would be difficult to get him out.

"Hey… Andy," The form spoke up, landing beside Andy, hoping to get a reaction out of the boy.

What was that…? Was that… a noise? … No… I think… it was a voice? Andy thought to himself, not showing any signs of recognition. Who's talking…? How far away are they?

"Andy?" The form questioned again, poking Andy on his shoulder. "Hello? Anyone in there?"

Andy finally stopped walking. Someone is here… but I can't see them. "Huh…? Who…?"

Andy could barely speak out loud.

"Andy… can you hear me?" The form asked again, poking Andy on the back of his head with a finger.

"Who… is… there?" Andy slowly spoke, seeming to find it difficult to speak.

"Andy, can you look at me?" The form asked, waving a hand in front of Andy's glazed over eyes.

Andy slowly raised his head up at the hand, seemingly to be seeing something. Is… that a… hand? It looks… familiar.

"That's it, just follow my hand." The form said, bringing his hand closer to his own face. "Just keep your eyes on my hand."

Andy slowly followed the hand as it got to the form's face.

"Now do you see me?" The form asked in a hopeful tone.

Andy could see some kind of silhouette through the haze, but it was difficult to make out as the silhouette was distorted in the haze. But he could see two orbs glowing eerily in the haze. Despite the creepiness of the glowing orbs, Andy didn't feel the need to run. He mostly felt numb and hazy.

"Andy, what are you doing here?" The form asked, the glowing orbs seeming to blink in and out of existence twice.

What is the voice saying? A question, I think? What's the question? How do I answer?

"I… don't… know…" Andy slowly replied. "Where… am… I? Who… are… you?"

The form hesitated. Oh great… How do I explain this one? Or even answer the questions? Still, the form knew he had to try.

"You're… um… I think you would know me, but…" The form hesitated, trailing off. Aw man… this is so complicated… He's definitely not quite in his mind right now. Maybe I need to keep this simple.

"Do you recognize me at all, Andy?" The form asked.

"Hazy…" Andy answered.

The form put a hand on Andy's forehead for a moment. Andy felt cold, it was like ice was being put on his forehead. What is that? It's cold!

"Is that a little better?" The form asked, hoping that woke Andy up a little bit without harming him.

Andy blinked a few times, squinting his eyes a bit. He could make out the face in the haze now. They looked like… "Dan…ny?"

"Yeah… it's me, bro." The form that looked like Danny replied. "I didn't think that would work, but it appears it did."

"Dan…ny… where… are we? Why… you here?" Andy slurred a bit, still having trouble speaking.

"It's okay, bro. Just know that I'm here, and that you're safe with me." Danny said gently. "As long as you're with me, don't worry about where we are."

"We're safe…? Then… I can… relax?" Andy asked.

"Yes, you can relax." Danny said softly and gently. "No need to wander around anymore."

"Kay…" Andy said before he leaned in on Danny and closed his eyes. "Thanks… bro…"

Danny smiled at seeing Andy closing his eyes. "It's okay, bro. I'm happy to help you."

Danny sighed in relief when Andy slowly disappeared when he fell asleep, that meant he was finally returning to his own body. But he had no idea how Andy got here in the first place. After all, this isn't their house… this is Danny's mind.

Takuya woke up from his nap, feeling quite refreshed. "Wow, who knew a good nap could do wonders for someone?" He mused as he stretched his arms over his head. Takuya looked over at Andy's own pile of pillows. I wonder if Andy is awake yet. Or do I need to wake him up myself?

Looking around, Takuya could see only a few baby Digimon were awake, the others were still asleep. Patamon appeared to still be asleep himself.

Huh… It looks like I'm one of the few who woke up early. Takuya mused as he just lay there on his pile of pillows; he didn't want to get up just yet. But it's nice, just laying here like this.

Takuya's relaxation didn't last long, however, because he sensed a strong Digimon heading this way. Takuya had come to realize over his past few days of being in the Digital World that he could sense Digimon as well as ghosts, especially if the Digimon was powerful.

Aw, c'mon! Are you freaking kidding me?! Takuya thought in alarm as he sat up from his pile of pillows quickly, now on high alert. A Digimon is coming here?!

Shaking his head, Takuya tried to calm down. Okay, maybe it's just a Digimon coming here to pick up one of the babies. But… if that's the case, then why does this one feel powerful, and why am I uneasy about that?

Patamon and Lopmon woke up not long after Takuya began sensing the Digimon.

"Who's that?" Patamon frowned.

"I don't know, but they don't feel friendly." Lopmon frowned. "Andy, wake up, I think someone bad is coming."

"Hmm…?" Andy groaned a little as he stirred from his sleep. "What?"

"Andy… You'd better wake up faster, because I'm sensing a Digimon, and they don't feel friendly." Lopmon repeated.

"And I think this Digimon is a strong one too." Takuya added. "I'm sensing a strong energy coming this way."

Andy grumbled. "So it's a strong Digimon. We're in the Digital World, why does that matter?"

"It's more than that, Andy. We're around many baby-level and In-Training Digimon. Not all Digimon are friendly towards the weaker Digimon," Lopmon pointed out.

"And we don't know if this Digimon has a player as a partner or not." Takuya added as he got to his feet. "For all we know, there could be a player coming here, but we don't know for sure yet."

Togemon looked up from her desk, suddenly looking worried. She got up out of her desk before she began to pick up the children.

"Togemon?" Tanemon asked sleepily.

"I'm sensing a strong Digimon heading this way, and they feel hostile," Togemon whispered. "This is an emergency. I need to get you little ones to safety."

Andy, Takuya, Patamon, and Lopmon stood up, seeing how serious the situation was with how scared the teacher seemed to be.

"Where are you going?" Andy asked.

"I think a bad player is coming. We set up a hidden basement for this purpose," Togemon explained. "Quickly, help me get the little ones downstairs."

Togemon quickly launched one of her needles at an alphabet poster, and a door slid open on the ground, with stairs leading down.

Takuya blinked at seeing the door to the basement open, but he didn't say anything about it, as he just gave a nod instead. He wasn't about to let this Digimon and possible player get at the baby Digimon so easily.

Takuya picked up a few of the baby Digimon. He picked up Jyarimon, Botamon, and Chibomon. Andy picked up Yokomon and Bukamon. Togemon had Motimon, Tanemon, and Pagumon. Patamon and Lopmon quietly followed them. Togemon went down first to lead the other two. Takuya went down next, since he was holding as much as Togemon was. Andy went in last. Patamon and Lopmon hurried after them.

"I can hear them, they're getting closer," Lopmon warned as he closed the door above them.

"What's going on?" Yokomon frowned.

"Shh, don't talk too loud," Andy warned.

"Some bad players are coming to our school," Bukamon said, looking nervous.

Takuya had put down the three baby Digimon he was holding and was looking up at the ceiling now. He wanted to do something so badly, and yet… the baby Digimon's protection came first.

The baby Digimon were looking pretty scared, even Pagumon was being quiet after Togemon put them down. Andy put Yokomon and Bukamon down when he reached the others at the bottom of the stairs.

"Can you tell if the player and the Digimon are here?" Andy whispered to Lopmon.

"They're here," Lopmon warned. "I can hear their voices mumbling and footsteps moving just above us."

It didn't take long for Takuya to hear the footsteps and mumblings. They were right above them, which made him feel nervous.

Aw man… Why am I having to hide? I mean, I hold the Spirit of Agunimon! I could've evolved and taken this fight outside, but no… I'm hiding instead! Takuya thought frustratedly. Ugh… I guess I'll just have to wait to evolve unless things get really bad…

"They shouldn't stick around for long if they don't see anyone," Patamon whispered.

The footsteps sounded a bit heavy, they could hear it stomping around. Lopmon lifted up his ears, trying to listen to what the voices were mumbling.

"One of them is asking 'where are all the baby Digimon'," Lopmon relayed. "And the other is suggesting that 'maybe they already left'."

"So someone is looking for baby Digimon…" Takuya whispered, realizing the school was most likely targeted now with a jolt of horror racing through him.

"The first voice said, 'They couldn't have left already, it's too early. They must be hiding,'" Lopmon informed. "The other voice said, 'How would we find them then?'"

"I don't like where this is going." Andy frowned.

"Me neither." Takuya hissed, gripping his D-Tector which sat in his pocket. "This could get really bad, really fast if we don't do something."

Lopmon frowned. "They're planning to digivolve and wreck the whole school until they can find us."

"No, they can't do that!" Motimon frowned.

"Shh!" Tanemon hissed.

"I'm too young to be enslaved by players!" Pagumon cried.

"Sure, just shout a little louder, I'm sure they didn't hear you," Yokomon hissed.

Takuya didn't like the way the baby Digimon were beginning to panic. Crap… if anymore of the babies panic, we'll be found for sure! He realized.

"Now, calm down, class. As long as we remain quiet and don't shout, we will be fine." Togemon said in as calm and quiet a voice as she could, though Takuya could tell she was getting very anxious herself.

Despite being a Champion level herself, Togemon didn't seem to be all that strong. She was more of a teacher than a fighter, and Takuya felt like Togemon would be more like Mr. Lancer if a ghost were to attack. Try to get her students to safety, but wouldn't be any good in an actual battle.

Andy frowned as he could see the situation was getting pretty bad.

"Andy, what should we do?" Lopmon asked nervously. "I don't think the Digimon and the player are bluffing."

"They want the babies, right?" Andy asked. "Most likely to enslave them. We may not have a choice but to fight…"

"But that'll put the babies in danger, won't it?" Patamon frowned.

"Not if we can lead them away from the school," Andy said. "We'll just have to make them believe that the students aren't baby Digimon, but new human players."

"Huh?" Takuya looked at Andy. "What do you mean?" He whispered to Andy, trying to not give away their location to the player and their Digimon.

"I mean if you and I go up there, it's likely they would think we're the students here, not the baby Digimon," Andy explained. "We'll be the bait, and lead them out of the school."

Takuya frowned, but he did agree it was the best plan they had at the moment. "I guess that would work." He admitted. Aw man… Why does this feel like when I was the bait for Skulker? Then a thought crossed his mind. "Um… if we're the bait… what if this player catches on to our scheme?"

"I guess that depends on what will happen from there. I can't predict what the player will do once he sees us," Andy replied. "But I suppose the best thing we can do is fight back, and give Togemon enough time to evacuate the babies from the school."

"I hope we can give her that time." Takuya said as he finally took out his D-Tector. "At the very least, if I have to… well… you know… I will stand a better chance of fighting back if fighting is what we have to do."

"But you're just kids, do you think you'll be able to handle it?" Togemon asked in concern. "I'm your teacher, I should be the one protecting you."

"It's alright, Togemon. We may not be players in a traditional sense, but we do have our own Digimon to help us fight," Andy replied. "We stand a better chance against the other player than you do. You need to keep these little ones safe from the players who want to enslave them."

"And I may have a few tricks that will throw a player off." Takuya added with a mysterious grin.

"Are you sure about this? What if the player defeats you?" Yokomon asked, worried about her only friends in this school.

"Don't think about that," Lopmon said. "We'll be fine. I believe in my partner."

"And who knows? You might see that there is hope for the Digital World." Takuya added as he knelt down and placed a hand on Yokomon's plant.

Yokomon huffed. "Just don't get yourselves killed out there."

"You're crazy, if these players can defeat a Celestial Digimon, no way you beginners are gonna win!" Pagumon grumbled.

"Then just watch us," Andy replied as he stood up.

"Rock Fist!"

The ceiling above them began to shake and crack.

"We better hurry before they bring down the whole school on us," Patamon quickly said.

"Let's go, Lopmon, Takuya!" Andy quickly said before he began running up the stairs.

"Yeah!" Lopmon ran behind Andy.

Takuya followed Andy. "Wish us luck!" He said before he also ran up the stairs.

"Good luck! And be safe!" Togemon called back to them.

Takuya was surprised to see Patamon was flying beside him rather than staying in the basement with the others.

"Um… no offense, Patamon, but why are you following me? I thought you would stay behind with the others." Takuya said as he followed Andy.

"I'm not going to keep hiding away while everyone else does the fighting…" Patamon frowned. "And if we're to keep up with appearance, it's best I stick with you, acting like your partner Digimon. Otherwise, it'll be suspicious why you don't have one, don't you think?"

Takuya frowned, but nodded. "Yeah, I suppose it would be odd." He conceded. Ugh… great… well, I guess I can't complain though, not if it works to our advantage.

The school shook more as cracks began to show. Andy and Lopmon opened up the trap door, shouting.

"Stop it!" Andy shouted. "Are you trying to get the whole school to collapse on us!?"

The player in question turned, seeing Andy and Lopmon emerging from the stairs, with Takuya and Patamon right behind them. "Huh? What are you two doing here? I thought this was a place for baby Digimon to come and learn, not human players."

Andy and Takuya were surprised to see the player was…

"Calvin?" Andy asked in surprise.

"What?" The football player frowned. "Oh… aren't you that loser Fenton from Casper High? Wow, you really didn't even bother to try to hide your appearance!"

Andy hadn't been sure if it was Calvin at first, because he was much taller than he was in real life, and he was wearing some kind of rock-like armor on his body. But the face looked similar to Calvin, and his voice gave him away. Beside Calvin was a small creature that appeared to be made of rock, and was bipedal, it had yellow eyes with black pupils, and a couple of small rock ears on its head.

"Oh, c'mon!" Takuya grumbled. "Not this jerk of a jock again…"

Patamon, despite himself, couldn't stop the grin at the comment from coming into view.

"You know this guy, Andy?" Lopmon asked, surprised.

"Unfortunately. He's a big time football player back at my school, and is pretty much a bully," Andy answered. "I didn't know he had the early access game. I always thought jocks like him preferred doing sports and exercise in their spare time." How else do they all have such muscular bodies?

"Hah! Shows what you know, Fentoad! Even jocks can be gamers!" Calvin boasted.

Takuya felt like smacking his own face at hearing the intentional mess-up of Andy's last name. Why do the jocks have to mangle Andy and Danny's last name on purpose?!

"Well, is my face red then," Andy sarcastically remarked.

"Hey! Don't insult Andy's name!" Lopmon snapped, looking quite annoyed himself at the mangle of Andy's last name.

Calvin looked at Lopmon and busted out laughing. "Oh my gosh! HAHAHAHA! Is that tiny little chocolate rabbit your Digimon? I always knew you were pathetic, but this takes the chocolate cake! HAHAHAHA!"

Even the rock monster beside Calvin was laughing. "A crybaby Digimon for a crybaby boy!"

"Hey! Stop laughing!" Andy snapped.

"Yeah! Leave Andy alone!" Takuya added. "You wanna come after someone, come after me!"

"Why? Look at you! You have a winged hamster as your Digimon partner!" Calvin laughed again. "Although the chocolate bunny is funnier!"

"I'm not a chocolate bunny! Stop laughing!" Lopmon snapped.

"Aww, what's the matter little Lopmon? Are you going to cry?" The rock Digimon taunted.

"I'll give you something to cry about soon if you don't stop, Gotsumon!" Lopmon growled. "You're judging a whole Digimon species for what a few Lopmon did!"

Andy didn't know why this… Gotsumon, Lopmon called him, kept calling Lopmon a crybaby. As far as he knew, Lopmon had never cried, not even as Kokomon.

Takuya was so tempted to just Spirit Evolve into Agunimon right then and there. He gripped his D-Tector tightly in his right hand, ready to call out his fractal code to just evolve. But he was hesitant because he didn't know how Calvin would react to that or if it would be seen as him being a player or what. Man… If only I could just evolve… then that would shut this guy up!

"You shouldn't judge anyone by appearance," Patamon warned the laughing jock.

"Fine then, how about you two tell me where you're hiding all the baby Digimon, and I won't have Gotsumon pulverize your little pets?" Calvin grinned.

"There aren't any baby Digimon here, you doofus," Andy boldly replied. "This is a school for new human players like us to learn."

"And you just happened to interrupt the lesson." Takuya added. "We were learning so much and you ruined it for us!" Takuya didn't even have to fake the frustration at the lesson being ruined.

"Oh? That's not what I heard. I heard this school was for baby Digimon only." Calvin retorted.

"If that's true, then why are we here?" Andy questioned. "Maybe you heard wrong, did you think of that? Oh wait, I've seen your grades, you couldn't think of anything on your own."

Takuya actually snickered at Andy's words to Calvin. Totally the epic burn! He thought in his mind, not even hiding the grin on his face.

Calvin went beet red in the face. "You take that back!" He exclaimed. "I can still beat you up whether we're in this world or our world!"

"Then I'd like to see you try, if you can catch us!" Andy shouted as he ran at the door, quickly gesturing to Takuya to follow him. We can't fight in here, the school would collapse, we need to lead him outside.

Takuya didn't even hesitate to run after Andy, but not before he turned to Calvin and stuck out his tongue while pulling down his left eye lid. "Nyyaaahhh!"

Andy, Lopmon, Takuya, and Patamon hurried out the door. Calvin's face was red, but now out of anger rather than embarrassment.

"I WILL CATCH YOU, COWARDS!" Calvin shouted. "Gotsumon, after them!"

Gotsumon and Calvin ran after the foursome, more than eager for some revenge.

Takuya snickered. "Man, who knew messing with Calvin was so much fun?"

"Stay focused, he's already catching up quickly," Patamon quickly said.

Takuya and Andy looked back, both gasping when they saw Calvin and Gotsumon were catching up to them quickly despite wearing rock armor. They were basically rampaging after them.

"Maybe we riled him up a little too much…" Andy frowned.

"Now what? He's bound to catch us for sure!" Takuya growled.

"We might be far enough away from the school to fight," Andy quickly said. "Lopmon!"

"Yeah!" Lopmon quickly jumped up onto Andy's shoulders, climbing up onto his head before jumping up and gliding toward Calvin and Gotsumon. "Take this, you big bully! Blazing Ice!"

Lopmon fired out an icy wind at the ground ahead of Gotsumon and Calvin.

Calvin and Gotsumon slipped on the icy pathway that formed in the Blazing Ice attack, stopping their little rampage.

"Ow!"

"Hey!"

Calvin looked up from where he had landed on his stomach on the icy path. "You little punk!" He hissed with a growl as he stood back up.

Gotsumon got to his feet as well. "You will pay for that!" He added.

Takuya looked at Patamon and Patamon looked at Takuya. Both nodded at one another and Patamon flew forwards. "Don't hold back, Patamon!" Takuya instructed.

Patamon flew at Gotsumon as he was preparing an attack for Lopmon. Patamon expanded his body, looking like an inflated balloon. "Boom Bubble!"

Patamon shot out a large air bubble at Gotsumon, which caused the Digimon to be thrown off balance. "Whoa!"

"Come on, Gotsumon! These two marshmallows should be nothing to you!" Calvin shouted in frustration.

"I got this!" Gotsumon growled as he stood firm. "Rock Fist!"

Gotsumon summoned rocks around him, then he threw them at Lopmon and Patamon. Lopmon quickly defended himself by wrapping his ears in front of his body. Pattamon managed to dodge the rocks.

Gotsumon, after putting Lopmon on the defensive, ran at Lopmon. "Wild Strike!"

Gotsumon began swinging his arms wildly at Lopmon. Lopmon hissed as he was being pushed back, his ears could only do so much to protect him from Gotsumon's attack.

"Damn it…" Takuya hissed as he saw this move. "Patamon! You have to help Lopmon!"

Patamon flew at Gotsumon as he was pushing Lopmon back.

Taking a deep breath, Patamon then expanded his body like a balloon again before letting out his attack once more. "Boom Bubble!"

The air burst attack hit Gotsumon in the back, causing Gotsumon to fall face down on the ground. "OW!"

"How can you be struggling? You're a rock monster! These two are just a chocolate bunny, and a hamster with bat wings!" Calvin shouted.

"They're still two Rookie Digimon that hit pretty hard!" Gotsumon grumbled. "Come on, two against one isn't fair! At least help me even the odds, Calvin!"

Calvin grinned a sinister grin. "I think we can do that~ How about we see how these two Rookie Digimon handle a bigger foe~?"

"Yeah! I can crush them for sure!" Gotsumon agreed.

"What do you mean 'a bigger foe'?" Andy frowned.

"You two have gotten lucky, you've only been fighting against a child with your two children. But now you'll be facing against a full fledged jock! You two losers will never be able to take on a jock, no matter how many there are of you!" Calvin grinned as he held up his cell phone and pushed something on it. "Now, Gotsumon, do it!"

Gotsumon grinned as fractal code began to surround him. Takuya's eyes went wide as he saw this. "Crap!"

"Gotsumon, digivolve to…" Inside the code cocoon, Gotsumon's skin peeled away from his arms, legs, and face. Then, more skin began to form around his limbs and chest. When it was done, the code cocoon vanished, revealing a dinosaur-like Digimon. It had light gray skin on its underbelly and legs, with rock-like armor on the lower front and rear legs. The feet had three dark gray claws, and the upper half of the creature had matching rock armor. There was a big horn extending from the tip of its snout as well. The eyes were green, and the creature had a tail that had armor bits on it as well. "Monochromon!"

"Crap…" Takuya hissed. "He evolved!"

"That's… a big dinosaur…" Andy paled.

"Monochromon is a Dinosaur Digimon. It has grown a rhinoceros-like horn on its snout. Its huge horn becomes large enough to account for half of its body length as it grows. The hard substance covering parts of its horn and half its body possesses hardness of the same quality as diamond, and it is said that there is nothing that cannot be penetrated by this horn." Takuya heard a voice in his head explain. "We may be in trouble, Andy… Monochromon has armor as hard as diamonds. I don't think we'll be able to penetrate it so easily."

"Now let's see if your little pets do any damage to Monochromon!" Calvin challenged.

Lopmon and Patamon frowned, but they went in for the attack anyways.

"Blazing Ice!"

"Boom Bubble!"

Both of their attacks had a direct hit on Monochromon. Monochromon closed his eyes for a moment before opening them back up, grinning. "Was that your attack? That almost tickled."

Lopmon and Patamon quickly fell back.

"Our attacks aren't doing anything." Lopmon frowned. "His armor is too strong!"

Damn it! What can we do?! Lopmon and Patamon are just Rookie level Digimon! They won't last long against this guy! I… Spirit Evolution might be our only chance here… Takuya thought in dismay. "Andy… I may have to…" He said, his hand around his D-Tector as he held it close to his chest.

"Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon shot out several big fireballs from his mouth at Lopmon and Patamon.

"Look out!" Andy shouted.

Lopmon and Patamon quickly wrapped their ears around their bodies in an attempt to defend against the Volcanic Strike.

"Ugh!" Lopmon groaned in pain as the flames hit him, singing his ears a bit.

"Ow!" Patamon groaned, his own wings being singed.

"Your weak little Digimon can't do anything to Monochromon!" Calvin taunted. "It's just as well, since weak trash like you belongs in the dirt!"

This is bad. Lopmon and Patamon won't last much longer at this rate. Andy frowned. Takuya could Spirit Evolve, but right in front of Calvin? That would also put Takuya at risk.

Andy looked at Calvin, seeing that he looked very different from his real life counterpart. Then again… maybe we can make this work.

"Takuya, do it," Andy quickly said.

Takuya looked at Andy. "Wait… like, right now?!" He asked, shocked Andy wanted him to evolve right in front of the jock.

"Yeah. Calvin thinks this world is just a game, right?" Andy pointed out. "While it might seem unusual, it wouldn't be impossible for a player to suddenly turn into a Digimon. We can easily explain that as being a rare system in the game."

Takuya felt a grin cross his face. "I think I can work with that~" He said before he faced Calvin. "You think you're the only one who can change forms?" He asked as he held up his D-Tector. The blue digital form of his first Spirit appeared visible on the screen of his D-Tector as he formed the familiar fractal coding on his left hand. Takuya then swiped the D-Tector over the coding, calling out the familiar phrase he knew by heart. "Execute! Spirit Evolution!" His clothes ripped away as his body became digital, and the process began. Coding surrounded him as the power of the Spirit flowed into his body. Red armor formed and latched onto his body as his hair changed to blonde and became long and wild. His height increased, as did his strength and agility. His eyes snapped open, now a brilliant blue instead of brown, and his canine teeth were sharper than a human's as well. He landed, crying out his name. "Agunimon!"

"What the hell!? How are you able to turn yourself into a Digimon? I call hax!" Calvin shouted.

Now evolved, Agunimon just grinned, showing his sharp canine teeth very easily. "It's not hax. It's just a very rare system, one that, unfortunately for you, I happened to get." He said cheekily, going with Andy's explanation. Nice save with that explanation, Andy.

"Alright, now that the odds are a bit more even, let's see if we can put a stop to Calvin's rampage." Andy grinned.

Lopmon and Patamon regained their confidence, seeing that they had Agunimon on their side.

"Rare or not, I still say you're cheating!" Calvin hissed. "But even so, you're still no match for Monochromon!"

"I'll beat you up!" Monochromon shouted before he began charging at Agunimon. "Tomahawk Slash!"

Monochromon was attempting to slash Agunimon with his horn.

Seeing this, Agunimon braced himself before he then jumped to the left and landed on his feet before turning and kicking Monochromon hard in the side. "You'll have to do better than that!"

Monochromon turned around to look at Agunimon, despite the kick, it didn't seem to phase Monochromon at all. "And you'll have to do better if you want to try to kick me!"

Agunimon grew pale in the face, his red facial markings standing out more. Shit… Even with the power of Agunimon's greater strength, I didn't even make him fall over! I guess physical attacks won't work against Monochromon's armor.

"That's right! Show them what you're made of! Not even cheating the system will save them from you!" Calvin grinned.

"Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon shot out more fireballs from his mouth.

Agunimon saw the fire coming at Andy and raced in front of the boy before he braced himself for the impact. He put his arms up in front of his face, deciding to try something. That's a fire attack, right? Ghost fire seems to affect me, but if this digital fire,… I should be able to withstand it, or at least take the least damage from it. Agunimon thought, remembering his fight with dragon Andy.

Agunimon took the Volcanic Strike while Andy ducked down to avoid as much of the flames as possible. Agunimon was able to take the flames pretty well, being an element of fire himself. It was a lot easier than when dragon Danny and dragon Andy hit him with their elemental breaths, especially Danny's since his was freezing cold.

The smoke concealed Agunimon and Andy from Calvin and Monochromon for a few moments before it began to fade, revealing Agunimon was still standing. Agunimon lowered his arms and grinned. "It seems fire doesn't affect me as much as you thought it would~"

"Fire isn't the only thing I can do," Monochromon stated. "And just because you're immune to fire doesn't mean that school and your two Digimon friends are."

Agunimon growled when he heard that. "You hurt Andy, Patamon or Lopmon… or attack that school, you're going to learn why I'm a Legendary Warrior." He hissed, his tone of voice becoming serious at that threat.

"Aww, that's cute, the loser thinks he's some kind of legendary warrior," Calvin sneered.

Monochromon charged at Agunimon, pushing him back as Andy quickly ran out of the way. Agunimon grunted as he tried to push back the dinosaur.

"No… you don't!" Agunimon hissed, pushing back as hard as he could. He dug his foot claws into the ground, trying to gain more grip and keep Monochromon back. Damn it! This guy's strong… much stronger than I thought…

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Lopmon frowned as Andy ran over to them. "We can't seem to come close to breaking through that armor."

"Agunimon should be able to handle it, but he's going to have a hard time." Patamon noted.

"Monochromon has an armored exterior, right? But he should be vulnerable on the inside," Andy noted. "If we could… we might be able to weaken him if you can get your attacks into his mouth."

Patamon and Lopmon's eyes went wide at the realization.

"I see. We attack his mouth, and cause some damage that way!" Patamon exclaimed.

"And it would make things easier for Agunimon if we did that!" Lopmon finished.

"The problem is getting your attacks in its mouth before it shoots out its fireballs," Andy said.

"We'll try to approach it, and time our attacks," Patamon said. "That might be our best shot."

"It's risky, but if it works, we can teach these bullies a lesson, and keep the babies safe," Lopmon stated. "Besides, it wouldn't be fair to leave this all to Takuya."

"Heh, how right you are. That fire-head is going to need our help," Andy agreed.

"Then let's get to it." Patamon said with a smile.

"You two make your way to Monochromon," Andy said as he looked over at Calvin. "I'll distract Calvin so he doesn't warn Monochromon ahead of time."

"Are you sure, Andy? I mean… he does look much more powerful than you right now." Lopmon warned. "I'm not saying don't do it, I'm just trying to say be careful if you do that."

"Don't worry. I know Calvin enough to know what kind of… stats he would prioritize for his avatar character," Andy reassured "I've dealt with beings more dangerous than him. You and Patamon focus on helping Agunimon."

"By beings, do you mean ghosts?" Patamon asked.

"Yeah. But that'll be a discussion for a later time," Andy said. "We better hurry, I don't think Agunimon can last much longer."

Patamon and Lopmon nodded before they turned to face Monochromon and headed off in that direction.

As Patamon and Lopmon were heading towards Monochromon, Agunimon was trying his best to hold his own, but while he was having some success, it was not going so well because of Monochromon's armor.

"Shit…" Agunimon hissed under his breath. "I thought I would have an easier time fighting Monochromon as a Digimon myself, not have it be a drawn out battle like this…"

Agunimon had tried to use his own flames against Monochromon while he was pushing him back, but Monochromon seemed to be just as resistant to fire as Agunimon was.

"That's right! Push him back! Then stab through his armor with your horn!" Calvin called out before he noticed Patamon and Lopmon running towards them. "Heh, do those two stuffed animals really think they can do anything?"

"Hey, Calvin!" Andy shouted, walking up to the bigger boy. "I see you're just ordering your Digimon to take on Agunimon. Are you afraid to join in the battle yourself?"

Calvin glared at Andy. "Of course I'm not afraid to take on some cheater!" He exclaimed as he pointed at Andy. "I'll take on anyone who challenges me!"

"Then why aren't you out there taking on the 'cheater'?" Andy asked.

"Because Monochromon would gain more benefits if he took him out. But I can fight you, if you'd like, Fentertainment!" Calvin grinned.

"Do you think you can?" Andy challenged. "After all, in this world, I'm not just the loser kid you can shove into a locker at any time."

Calvin hesitated, because if one loser cheater had this rare ability, who was to say someone else didn't? He shook his head. There was no way a loser like Fenton could have such a rare power in this game! "You're bluffing!"

"Why don't you come at me and find out?" Andy grinned, looking confident.

Calvin frowned, there was no way Fenturd could be this confident if he didn't have some sort of trick up his sleeves.

While Andy and Calvin were having a stare down, Lopmon and Patamon jumped. Lopmon inflated his ears to let the wind carry him higher. We'll only have one shot at this…

Agunimon felt himself weakening, his arms were already shaking from the effort. Monochromon didn't look like he was stopping any time soon.

"What's the matter? Starting to get weak in the knees?" Monochromon teased.

Agunimon glared back. "No way! I'm not backing down!" He snapped, but he knew he was just putting up a front at this point. If this went on, he would run out of strength and energy, reverting back to his human form. As it was, he was still not making any progress on pushing Monochromon back further. They were evenly matched. Damn it… There has to be something I can do! I can't just hold this guy back forever!

"Hey! I bet you can't hold Agunimon back and strike us at the same time!" Lopmon shouted from above Agunimon and Monochromon. "You're just a dumb bully who mindlessly charges at others headfirst. So nyah, nyah, you can't do anything about us up here~"

"Was that really necessary?" Patamon sweatdropped.

"If we want this to work, yes," Lopmon whispered back to Patamon.

"What was that?!" Monochromon snapped as he glanced back at the two Rookie level Digimon with one of his eyes. "Are you teasing me?!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I should've been clearer for someone with such a tiny brain," Lopmon replied. "You not only couldn't hit us, you wouldn't be able to hit Agunimon in the face even with how close you are!"

Monochromon growled. "I too could hit him! In fact, I think I will!"

Patamon decided to join in on the teasing, seeing how this was working in their favor. "Why? He's immune to fire, so that only shows how dumb you are! You don't even have the brain of a Mammothmon!"

What are these two doing? They're making him stronger by making him angrier! Agunimon groaned as he felt Monochromon pushing him back now.

"Grrr! You will regret saying that when you all end up burning!" Monochromon shouted as he opened his large mouth. "Volcani-"

"Blazing Ice!"

"Boom Bubble!"

Lopmon and Patamon didn't hesitate to shoot out their attacks into Monochromon's mouth. Not only did it block the Volcanic Strike from coming out, it caused it to explode in the Digimon's mouth. Agunimon's eyes went wide as Monochromon roared in pain as his mouth was letting out some black smoke.

"Now's your chance, Agunimon!" Patamon shouted.

"Finish him off!" Lopmon added.

Agunimon knew what to do right away. He crouched and then jumped up into the air before fire began to flicker from his armor on his shoulders, wrists, knees and ankles. "Time to end this! Pyro Tornado!" Fire enveloped Agunimon as he spun around, creating a fiery twister.

Monochromon was swallowed up by the fiery twister. The Digimon was too heavy to be lifted, but the flames were still causing damage due to his mouth being wide open.

"What the!?" Calvin shouted, seeing the giant fiery tornado behind Andy. "Monochromon! Come on, you can take that, can't you!?"

Andy slipped away from Calvin as the bulky boy was shouting.

When the Pyro Tornado ended, Monochromon fell to the ground. Fractal code surrounded Monochromon's body, reverting him back to his Gotsumon form.

"What the heck!? How did you do that!?" Calvin yelled as he glared at Agunimon. "You definitely cheated! I'm going to report you to the devs!"

"I did not cheat." Agunimon said firmly as he looked Calvin dead in the eyes. "I am a Legendary Warrior, and you would be better off remembering that. My name is Agunimon, Legendary Warrior of Flame, don't forget it, jock."

Calvin, for a moment, actually shook under Agunimon's gaze and his authoritative voice. But, he quickly regained his composure as he ran over to Gotsumon, picking him up. "Whatever. You can role play as some mythical 'legendary warrior', but you'll always be a loser in the real world!"

Calvin ran off with Gotsumon. "And don't think this means you've won! We'll be back, stronger than ever!"

As Calvin ran off, Agunimon watched them leave. "I don't think we've seen the last of him." He said at last before sighing and looking at Andy. "Are you okay, Andy?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. He didn't actually do anything to me," Andy answered as he walked over to them. "But wow, did you see the look on Calvin's face when you spoke to him? I thought he was going to wet himself."

Agunimon chuckled. "I didn't do anything except give him a warning, and if that's how he reacts to a warning, I doubt he would react well to a real threat." He agreed. "But yeah, it felt good to actually say something to him to make him back down for once."

"Well, the Legendary Warriors do get serious respect for their actions with Lucemon." Patamon pointed out. "Even a human's digital avatar is a digital entity, and thus could possibly sense Agunimon was not fooling around."

"I'm just glad that plan worked," Lopmon said as he walked over to Andy. "I was more worried about you getting hurt by that bully, and I wouldn't be able to protect you."

Andy picked up Lopmon. "Thanks for the concern, Lopmon. Although… Calvin will probably come after me at my school… that's not going to be fun…"

Agunimon gave a wince at the idea of that. "I doubt he will forget what happened here, so it's likely I will be targeted by Calvin as well." He admitted.

"Then I'll go to your school with you and keep you safe!" Lopmon declared.

"I… uh, don't know if that's possible, Lopmon," Andy sweatdropped. "And even if it was, you can't just walk around in plain sight, people would freak out."

"Why?" Lopmon frowned.

"People aren't used to seeing Digimon like you in our world," Andy explained. "You'd be a strange being to them, and the government might want to take you in for experiments…"

"Like fun experiments?" Lopmon asked.

Agunimon shook his head. "Fun for them, maybe, but not for you. It's… The government would probably do… 'unethical things' to you, to find out how you're alive, what makes you have your attacks, that kind of stuff. And I don't mean through asking questions either."

"So it'd be like a doctor's appointment?" Lopmon asked.

"No… I mean it's kind of like that, but much, much worse," Andy sighed. "It's best if you don't find out though."

"I guess… but I still want to go with you to your world and protect you, especially if you're facing dangerous beings like ghosts." Lopmon frowned.

"Speaking of ghosts, do you-" Patamon began to ask when Togemon came out of the school.

"I saw the battle! Are you all alright?" Togemon called. "Is it safe for the children?"

"Yeah! It's safe to come out now!" Andy called back.

Almost immediately, all the little Digimon came bouncing out of the school, hurrying over to Agunimon, nearly running over Andy and Lopmon.

Lopmon sat up, feeling like a doormat. "Ow… That's a way to be reminded of a battle…"

"Who knew those little Digimon could pounce so hard?" Andy groaned.

"Did you really become a Digimon!?"

"How did you turn into a Digimon!?"

"Could I become that big one day?"

"That's so cool! You were so cool!"

"Even I have to admit you were really cool out there!"

Yokomon looked down at Andy and Lopmon. "Are you two okay?"

"We're fine, just a little trampled," Andy grumbled.

"But I'd be more worried about Agunimon. He seems a bit swamped right now." Lopmon chuckled, seeing that was indeed the case.

Poor Agunimon was indeed surrounded by the baby Digimon. "H-hey! Calm down! Please!"

"Have fun handling these kids~" Patamon grinned.

Why meeeee!? Agunimon whined.

"Children! Children! Please! Let him breathe!" Togemon called out.

But the poor Legendary Warrior was swamped by the babies as they jumped on him instead. "HELP!"

"Goodbye, Agunimon, you were a great ally," Andy saluted.

Sesshoru: DarkFoxKit: First of all, we are aware of the stages. Second, not every single stage is going to be announce at the school since 'Hybrid' is unknown to the characters. Third, are you only reviewing to correct us on something? Because it feels like it is. Also, I will let ZAFT explain to you why we didn't announce some of these stages.

ZAFT: Thank you. Now, first off, Super Ultimate/Ultra level… Unless you are talking about Burst Mode or even the forms MagnaGarurumon and EmperorGreymon, the first are considered form changes, and the last two are considered Mega/Ultimate level. Unless you are talking about Mega-Level DNA digivolution, that can be consideredAnd DarkFoxKit is correct in that Hybrid is unknown to the characters at this time. Super Ultimate is also unknown to our characters at this time, so it wasn't mentioned either for that reason. So please, do not try to post something we are aware of, because if we don't include certain stages, there is a reason for it. I do not want to have to deal with these corrective reviews when we don't mention certain stages, because as I said, they are not mentioned for a reason. I hope that explains to you our decision to not mention all the evolution stages.

Titanic X: ZAFT: That was the funnest part of the chapter to be honest. XD

DarkFoxKit: Thanks, I'm glad we're using the worlds to their fullest potential.

ZAFT: You will see if you are correct or not as the story goes along~ :3

pokemon fan 1991: ZAFT: Yeah, making the lore was a pretty fun thing to do. :3 As for Star and Valerie, maybe. But as for Paulina and Lucky in Love… we'll see… ^^' And that sounds like an interesting idea for your story. :3

DarkFoxKit: Definitely sounds like an interesting idea. Though we don't have much to say in terms of something that has nothing to do with our story. ^^' I don't have any plans to switch Paulina out for Star in Lucky in Love though. But maybe we can do something for Star at some point.

Guest: ZAFT: Well, this is a long review. XD Just what we like to see~ :3 Thanks for reviewing! We're glad you like it so much!

DarkFoxKit: Yes, Pagumon is just one of those Digimon who are naturally mischievous, that's why he's kinda the school bully. I wouldn't think too much on the Sherlockmon thing, it was, more or less, a throw away line just to make things a bit funny. But since it was established that humans pretty much created the Digital World, it's not unusual for the Digimon to know about Sherlock Holmes.

ZAFT: Sadly, no Sherlockmon exists, but it is an interesting concept for a Digimon OC for someone~ XD But DarkFoxKit is right. It was kinda a throw away line to show that humans influenced, and created, the Digital World. And yeah, world building can be fun when done right. :3

DarkFoxKit: We don't really understand the whole world being made of data thing either. We're just using that from Digimon Frontier. And it really isn't our main goal to explain all of that.

ZAFT: Now as for the Ghost Zone being connected, it has been that way since the first version of this story. XD The dislike between ghosts and Digimon actually does go both ways, but it can vary in the intensity. XD

DarkFoxKit: Digimon and ghosts hadn't really interacted much, but as you will see, there's a reason why Digimon and ghosts don't get along. … You just made me imagine what kind of Digimon Danny could've become. Yokomon, not knowing what a Danny is is normal, considering she's a young Digimon with not a lot of experience. But yeah, Yokomon didn't like being at school.

ZAFT: We will get to how Agunimon's Spirit got sent to the human world as the story goes on. XD But Ophanimon is a good guess. :3 And Andy with Lopmon is indeed cute~ XD

DarkFoxKit: We won't say too much about Patamon, but he's definitely interesting. Anyways, hope you enjoy the next chapter.
