Sheldon sent Penny his video as he looked for her. He had already tried her apartment and his own. He tried Howard's house, Raj's place, Bernedette's, and the comic book store before he realized he was checking the places he would go. So then he tried the cheesecake factory, local clubs, the mall, and the hair salon. He called a bunch of her exes in hopes someone had seen her. He eventually called MeeMaw crying and panicking.

"Moonpie." Was her soft reply when answering the phone.

"MeeMaw…" Sheldon's voice cracked with pain, sorrow, anxiety, and worry. "She's gone and I can't find her."

"Moonpie...who-" MeeMaw started to ask Sheldon who he was talking about when he cut her off.

"My Penny Blossom. She's gone. She can't…. I can't….What do I do MeeMaw?" Sheldon felt his chest constrict as he voiced his worst fears to the one other person who he ever truly cared about and trusted.

"Moonpie…" MeeMaw's voice took on a tone of extreme worry yet a tenderness he had never heard from her.

"I… I…." Sheldon fell silent as tears started to form from his sheer panic.

"Take a deep breath honey. I can't help unless I know what is wrong. Nice deep, slow breaths." She waited till Sheldon had calmed a bit before starting to ask him questions again. "Start from the beginning and explain what's wrong."

"I was working in my office when I got an email today. It was a letter with a video link. The song is 'Make You Feel My Love'. In the letter I was asked to think about how I feel about everyone and what they mean to me as I listened to the song. I did but had to restart it to hear the lyrics." Sheldon related as well as the full context of the email.

"Oh my." MeeMaw muttered quietly. "So what did the song invoke in you, honey?"

"Understanding, awe, beauty, sadness, and… All I could see was Penny. The only thing my mind could focus on was my memories of Penny. But they weren't in a coherent manner. They were jumbled. They played out as the song did. Certain memories invoked by the lyrics and tone."

"So what made you so panicked? The email could have been from someone else, dear." MeeMaw pointed out.

"NO!" Sheldon shouted. "It was Penny. I know it was."

"But how?" MeeMaw asked softly.

"I do not know. I just do! It's something I can not explain even if I tried. There's like this emptiness in my heart that just tells me she's gone." Sheldon subconsciously was rubbing his chest where his heart was.

MeeMaw was silent for a moment while digesting this statement from her grandson. "And why do you want to find her? If it is her and she wants to leave… are you going to stop her?"

"N..n...no." Sheldon forced through the knot currently lodged in his throat.

"Then why do you need to find her?"

"She can't leave…. I have to tell her first…"

"Tell her what?"

"That…. That…. I… That I…." Sheldon couldn't finish his sentence.

"That you love her?" MeeMaw supplied for him. Sheldon drew in a sharp breath but before he could ask how she knew, she continued talking. "Moonpie. It's quite obvious to me that you love her. Since meeting her you have changed. If you think back to your life before you met her, you would see it to. How you act, talk, feel, and how you've grown. Think on how you react to your sister and mother. How you 'put up' with them suddenly dropping by. Or how you have included different things in your life. How much you smile more. Or… think over all the letters you write to me and all our phone calls. Yes you complain about Penny quite often, especially in the beginning. But… how often do you tell me about people you are around on a daily basis?"

"I know. I thought about that but I did not realize you knew." Sheldon's voice got soft. "I have to tell her how I feel. I can't let her leave thinking I don't care."

"So go tell her. I know, when you put all the power you have in that brain of yours, you can do anything." MeeMaw stated.

"I know. But I can't find her." Sheldon repeated but much calmer now.

"Have you asked your friends?"

"I have and they aren't responding." Sheldon sounded a bit mad about that.

"Well, have you asked them where they are? Maybe Penny doesn't want them to tell you. But if one of them is outside where they normally would be…" MeeMaw's voice trailed off letting Sheldon come to his own conclusion.

"Drat! Why didn't I think of that!" Sheldon sounded mad at himself.

"Because your emotionally upset right now." MeeMaw answered his rhetorical question. "Besides, doesn't she have her location thingy on her social media so her friends know where she's at?"

"MeeMaw you're a genius. I love you. Bye." Sheldon quickly disconnected the call.

As he hailed a cab, he texted everyone asking what they were doing. He also looked up Penny's location on her most recent ping, hoping she hadn't turned it off yet.

"Yes!" Sheldon exclaimed as he got into the cab. "L.A. please. As fast as you can. I'm in a hurry."

After a quick you got it bud from the driver he went back to what he was writing and the next video he wanted to send her. He also ordered his MeeMaw her favorite flowers and 2 tickets to her favorite singer's next concert with backstage passes.
