Consul of the Underworld: End of Disc 1
Chapter Three: Mob Mountain
Beta: ShadowofAxios
It turned out that Alkaid's gut instinct was indeed correct. The help that Sakura had sent them was someone that Pyrrha and her wife very much did not like having to work with.
"Can't believe we gotta work with that nutjob." Pyrrha complained as waited for the person that Sakura had sent to help them deal with the soon-to-be-dead youkai.
"Now dear, be professional."
"I can tell you want to shave her head bald." The daughter of war countered.
Alkaid couldn't look her in the eye and deny it. Her pale cheeks turning a fetching rosy color at being caught.
"Alright, I can't stand her." Alkaid admitted. "But we can't deny that Angel is a good cannon to point at our enemies."
"So I'm just a cannon to you two, eh?" The redheaded, blue eyed German woman said as she walked up to their table in the cafe in Nemuro town where they'd agreed to meet up with a hot drink in hand. Thankfully, the self-proclaimed Nephilim wasn't dressed in that provocative dress that seemed to be her combat costume. Instead she was dressed in a fashionable outfit that consisted of a crimson double breasted winter coat, a black turtleneck, a black skirt, thick leggings, black thigh high boots and was carrying a simple but elegant looking purse.
"A very powerful and pretty one."
Pyrrha snorted at the flattery.
"Tch, keep your hollow praise, Alkaid Potter." Angel huffed, flipping some of her hair over her shoulder as she took a seat. "Do not think you'll outshine me here."
"Are we keeping score now?" Pyrrha asked
"Doesn't a challenge make the coming battle all the more exhilarating? Daughter of war?"
'Kaidy glowered at the ginger. "Can you please not flirt with my wife."
Angel snorted. "This isn't me flirting. This is me making conversation."
"Yes, I heard from Sakura what your attempts at flirting are like." 'Kaidy shot back with a grin. "Something about over the top and embarrassing?"
"T-They were tasteful attempts!" Angel sputtered, face blotching pink.
"Not what Sakura told me." 'Kaidy pressed aggressively. "Oh, by the way, Tomoyo asked me to tell you that if you're serious about wooing one of Sakura's daughters in the future - And are you really considering that!? - you'll need to up your game a lot. She won't approve otherwise."
"The Reverse Genji Plan will work! I have it all mapped out."
"Wait! Wait!" Pyrrha said, her eyes wide in surprise. "You can't manage to hook up with Sakura, so now you're targeting her daughters!? Who are as of yet unborn!?"
"She is technically immortal if her Nephilim heritage is legit and any child of Sakura's will be so potent in magic, they'll be immortal to a degree as well." Kaidy said with a shrug, who was also a highly powerful sorceress. "Age is, up to a point, only a number when it comes to relationships between immortals. Though, Reverse Genji? Really?"
"Sakura-sama approved it." Angel said with a shrug, with a smug look on her face. "She said it was hot."
"Why do I feel Tomoyo influenced that decision?" Pyrrha said, rubbing her temples in a bid to fight the building headache she was feeling at the absurdity of this whole situation.
"Because that minx of a woman would encourage it." Kaidy said as she pinched the bridge of her nose in exasperation. "I mean, student-teacher relationships are kinky. Or did you forget how much fun we have using them in our role-plays?"
"She's my biggest ally." Angel said with a nod.
"As long as you're sincere, I'm sort of rooting for you." Her wife said with bemusement.
"I'll be sure to invite you to the wedding!"
"Okay, enough plots about seducing unborn children. Or did you ladies forget that we've got a job to do?" Pyrrha said, apparently being the only one with her head in the game here!
"Right, right." 'Kaidy said with a grin, clearing having taken the conversation in the direction it did on purpose just to mess with her.
"Spoilsport." Angel said with a roll of her eyes, before turning serious and pulling a map out of her purse, proceeded to spread it out on the table.
She allowed Pyrrha and Alkaid a moment to look over the map as she took a sip of her drink. It was a map of the surrounding Nemuro Subprefecture and had a X marked out over a spot in the mountains.
"That's where we'll find the rogue youkai?" Alkaid asked with cool professionalism, also entering serious mode
"Ja. It's their last base." Angel said as she sipped on her drink. "I, and a couple other of Sakura-sama's apprentices, have basically destroyed every other hideout they have. The survivors have all headed there to seek safety in numbers."
"Sakura mentioned you guys did that without orders to impress her?" Alkaid asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"We kill rogue youkai all the time. It is a time honored tradition for magical warriors in Japan." Angel shrugged. "We honestly didn't think we needed to ask for permission. But Sakura-sama sent me a letter asking me to work with you two when we deal the finishing blow to this group, so I will."
Pyrrha had seen Sakura sending off the 'letter' and calling it that was really downplaying it. It involved the Sorceress Supreme writing out a letter then enchanting it until it became a living thing, what Alkaid informed her was a Shikigami, in the shape of a swallow that she'd then sent off to deliver what she'd written down to Angel. Calling magic like that a mere 'letter' was insane in Pyrrha's mind.
"And we won't have problems working together?"
"Please, as if I'd concern myself with a fangirl of Sakura-sama's. We will kill them all and go our separate ways."
"Fangirl? Riiight." Alkaid said so coldly that the temperature dipped some. "And you seemed a lot more concerned about Pyrrha and I the last time we ran into each other in Miyagi Prefecture."
"Th-That was then, this is now. Hmph!" Angel huffed. "Besides, Sakura-sama asked me to work with you this time, so I will. I won't disappoint her."
"Now who's the fangirl?"
"Ladies," Pyrrha said, rolling her eyes at the attempted diversion. "Can we focus?"
Both 'Kaidy and Angel pouted. It seemed the two of them were actually having fun needling each other.
"Sorry," 'Kaidy, at least, had the grace to apologize. "So Angel, you know the area better. Any suggestions on a plan to handle things?"
Angel shook her head. "No need. The rats holed up on the mountain aren't worth the effort. All they really have is numbers. I say we just storm the place."
Alkaid rubbed the bridge of her nose in irritation, even as Pyrrha suppressed a snicker. Her wife was all about elaborate battle plans when she could manage it. The idea of just going in guns blazing like this must be driving her up the wall.
"I defer to your superior knowledge of the situation." Her wife conceded nonetheless. "So what can we expect to find when we hit the place?"
"A good variety of different youkai. They've got-"
"Isn't it ironic that a group of youkai that have turned their backs on Takamagahara have set up their base in an abandoned Shinto shrine?" Alkaid asked conversationally as she used a Axel Shooter, Phalanx Shift to conjure hundreds of emerald bullets of magic all around her which she proceeded to fire at the mob of filthy goblin-like youkai equipped with a whole host of improvised weapons and armor that had formed up into a crude phalanx around the desecrated Torii gates that led into the shrine.
"Considering they've desecrated the place, I think they would think it's fitting or at least poetically ironic." Angel countered as she used her Sacred Sweep spell to shoot two beams of holy power to the left and right of the enemy formation that rapidly swept across the disorganized ranks of the mob that were already reeling from Alkaid's own spell, killing the majority that remained.
"Come forth, Burning Swarm! Apes Igniferae (Crimson Bees)!" Pyrrha incanted as she swung her weapon, in its rarely used spear mode, in the direction of the fleeing enemy and drew on the power of one of the elemental gems that she'd purchased in the magical market back in Tomoeda and socketed into it. As a result of which, dozens of wasp-like projectiles shot off from her weapon and flew at high speed at the by now fleeing youkai before proceeding to detonate in fiery explosions once they caught up to their prey.
"Liking your new gem, Py?" Alkaid asked her wife with a grin as the two of them and Angel walked through the ruined Torii gates completely ignoring the massacre they'd just perpetrated.
"Yeah, it's cool." Pyrrha agreed. "Still think Miló's flamethrower is better, but Apes Igniferae has better range. By the way, do either of you know what these goblin things are?"
"I'm glad you like it, my little honey bee." Alkaid chuckled as she pulled a card from her grimoire and tossed it at another mob of the goblins that were rushing down the steps leading up to the main part of the shrine.
"As for what these are? No idea. Angel?" Alkaid admitted as her card unleashed a Ground Dasher, causing the ground under the charging mob to spontaneously collapse under their feet, burying them.
"They're Akaname." Angel said as she cast a Chain Lightning that created a bolt of lightning that arced between the remnants of the second mob of now named Akaname that had escaped being summarily entombed, electrocuting them into oblivion. "They're a type of spirit of filth and among the weakest youkai."
"Fodder. How boring." Alkaid commented as she plucked another card and tossed it into the air. "Todesdolch."
Dozens of purple crystalline daggers appeared and sped off, exploding on contact with the goblinoids. A new wave of which had just come barreling down the stairway they were walking up.
"Why do you think I'm not even summoning my dolems?" Angel pointed out with a shrug as she fired off a brace of fireballs to assist Alkaid in clearing out the latest enemy wave. "Or even changing into my combat uniform."
"You mean that overly sexy dress of yours?" Pyrrha teased. "Considering how much flesh it exposes, wouldn't switching into it be a bad idea?"
"She's not much of a magician is she?" Angel asked, looking at Alkaid pointedly.
"She's middling. But this is more of a lack of knowledge than skill or power. She's never focused much on learning the intricacies of her own magic, much less those of other systems."
"Hey! What's wrong with my question?"
"A mage's combat uniform or as I've heard some call it, their Barrier Jacket, despite whatever appearance they've been customized into consists of multiple layers of barriers and defensive fields. No one with one would think about entering a serious battle without putting theirs on."
"So it has all the defense you want, whilst letting you look as outlandish as you want?"
"W-What is outlandish about my combat uniform ?" Angel asked heatedly, face going red once more.
"Basically," Alkaid said, ignoring Angel's outburst and agreeing with Pyrrha's observation. "And Angel, you have to admit with how deep a v-neck your Barrier Jacket has, it is quite provocative."
"It's efficient!" The German insisted as she vented her frustration by casting what Alkaid recognized as a Flame Strike to conjure a pillar of flame that consumed a dozen of the latest batch of Akaname.
For what? A stripper? Alkaid thought as she tossed a Axel Shooter card that fired off another dozen projectiles which took out another grouping of Akaname.
"Is it climate controlled? 'Cos exposing so much skin in this kind of weather is liable to give you a cold." Pyrrha commented as she used the flamethrower built into the ruby decorated mithril bracelet Alkaid had given her, Miló, to unleash a torrent of flames to take out an opportunistic trio of Akaname that had climbed a tree and had attempted to jump down on the three women.
"Of course I have spells woven into it that keep me comfortable in all weather conditions. Do you take me for a fool?"
"Just checking," Pyrrha said with a roll of her eyes.
"Hmm…" Alkaid said as she noticed something and came to a stop and began casting scrying spells on her surroundings.
"What is it?" Angel asked as she too stopped and turned to look at her even as she cast another Chain Lightning that took out all but a few of the remaining Akaname who were turning to run.
"The Akanames have stopped coming." Pyrrha said as she tensed and looked around them for a sign of whatever new trick the enemy had in store for them. "The only ones left are from the last wave."
"Now that you mention it, I think you're right." Angel said with a frown as she fired off a Fireball to incinerate the fleeing Akaname.
"Above!" Alkaid shouted as her detection spells pinged a number of flying objects closing with them at high speed.
"Above!" Alkaid Potter shouted in warning, prompting Angel to look skyward and see a dozen small, flying creatures with the body of a bird and a canid face wreathed in flames diving towards them.
"Tch, Fubaribi." The German scowled at the sight of the silly little departed spirits of the cruelly slain.
And judging by Alkaid Potter's face, she had an inclination of what they were.
"Pyrrha dear, mind dealing with them? I think one slash should do the trick."
One slash? What the hell is she talking about? Angel couldn't help but think even as the Fubaribi began spitting fireballs at them that were easily absorbed by the bubble barrier that the daughter of Hades conjured around them.
"Got it, 'Kaidy." The daughter of Ares, who was Potter's wife, said with a grin as she shifted her weapon from its spear shape into its labrys form and raised it over her head. "Surge, Water and Heaven! Tidal Slash!"
She accompanied her incantation with a powerful swing of her weapon, from the path of which shot forth a tidal wave of conjured water that swept over the incoming flock of Fubaribi. A wave whose magical waters smothered the youkais' flames and in the process put the tormented souls to rest.
"Huh, you're more powerful than I thought." Angel said, impressed with the war child's spell.
"I did tell you that she was middling." Alkaid Potter told her with a smirk.
"So you did," Angel conceded as they continued their climb up the steps into the main part of the abandoned shrine turned youkai lair they were here to destroy. "Strange though. With the Fubaribi dealt with, I'd expected they'd start sending something else at us. More Akanames if nothing else."
"Maybe they have run out of them?" Potter's wife suggested with a shrug.
"Considering how much pollution there is in the world, there's always more Akaname." Angel replied with a shake of her head as the three of them finally crested the top of the stairs and found themselves in a courtyard bordered on three sides by the ruins of the shrine's buildings. A courtyard that was almost entirely taken up by a half completed airship with a frame of what Angel recognised as Oni wrought steel and whose membrane was weaved out of Jorogumo silk. But more importantly, it was also occupied by a small army of youkai. They mostly consisted of Akaname but there were a few other types here and there too, but what really stood out were their leaders.
"That is true, human." One of those leaders, a red skinned Oni with glowing eyes that was armed with a spiked club and a katana said with a booming laugh as it stood in front of a gang of five others of its kind, each armed with either a machete or club of their own. "But you won't be just fighting Akaname anymore. You'll have to take us on too."
"Oni, remember, I call dibs on the Greeks." A half-spider, half woman Jorogumo wearing a kimono over her human body, thick white makeup on her face and with golden patterning over her spider body said licking her lips hungrily.
"You say that as if your choices matter." Angel said as she offered a feral smile to the demon.
"You think it doesn't, mortal?" The lead Oni retorted with a snarl.
"You will die here. Plain and simple."
"You know something?" Alkaid Potter said suddenly, cutting into the conversation as she pulled what looked like a shard of ice that radiated infernal energies from a shadow portal. "You all talk too much. Taste the fate of traitors! Prison Depths of Lake Cocytus!"
Pyrrha had to admit from within the safety of 'Kaidy's Oval Protection that her wife had absently cast and which kept them and Angel safe from the extreme cold brought about by it, the spell that Baba Yaga had wanted 'Kaidy to learn was pretty bitchin'. That Angel chick looked flabbergasted and it was so good to see her flat ass shut up. Which she did the moment the shard that the Devil had given her wife began glowing with infernal light and 'Kaidy finished the incantation, sending a wave of frigid energy sweeping out from where she stood and transforming the area into a recreation of the Ninth Circle of the Inferno.
"What in the world was that!" Angel shouted in shock.
"Prison Depths of Lake Cocytus." Kaidy said with a shrug as she snapped her fingers and suddenly the hundreds of shades of the dead that had been frozen in the ice of the piece of Lake Cocytus that she'd created on, or did she transport it onto, the mortal plane began pulling themselves free from the ice.
"That was…" And her fellow ginger seemed to be stuck thinking how she'd never measure up. Or at least that was what Pyrrha thought was causing her to spaz out.
"Cold!" The Jorogumo hissed as it immediately turned to flee. Guess it just couldn't handle the cold of the Cocytus.
"You're not getting away!" Alkaid shouted even as she put away the shard she'd used for her spell. "Struggle Bind!"
At her wife's command, magical chains shot out of a series of magical circles that popped into existence around the fleeing spider woman and captured her, thus leaving her utterly hapless as the shades under Alkaid's command swarmed her and began using their undead strength to tear her apart. Oh, and they seemed to have some kind of chilling touch that caused frost to spread over anything they got their hands on too which just made their dismemberment of the man eating spider youkai - she had read up on some of the more infamous youkai before they headed out on this mission - easier.
"Do you think this will stop us?" The lead Oni snarled at them as he and his band of fellow Oni smashed and slashed any shade that got anywhere close to them.
"No." Her wife cooly smiled, flipping her hair. "Mayhaps not you, but the rest of your minions? How long will they last?"
It had gone without saying that whilst the Oni were holding their own, the Akaname and other assorted rogue youkai weren't faring anywhere as well against Alkaid's undead. In fact, most of them were in pretty much the same situation as the Jorogumo.
"You filthy little human…!"
"Angel, mind dealing with them?" 'Kaidy said, shooting the Oni a look that let it know that it was beneath her notice.
That seemed to snap the German out of the shocked stupor that she'd been ever since 'Kaidy had showed off her new spell and a tinge of her haughtiness returned. Shooting Alkaid a glare, she began gathering magical energy.
"You might have access to Infernal Magic, Potter, but that's nothing!" The self-proclaimed Nephilim spat defiantly even as a pair of wings of light burst from her back and a halo manifested over her head. "Let me show you what true power is! Attack: Justice!"
At her invocation, the six Oni suddenly spontaneously burst into flames.
"Let the holy fire fueled by your own evil consume you, you vile creatures." Angel told the demons with a cruel smirk, as she watched the Oni desperate try everything they could to smother the golden flames that were burning them alive. All whilst once more radiating the arrogance that Pyrrha had come to associate with her, Angel sealed their doom. "Let your own malice be the cause of your demise!"
Did this chick have to be so try-hard about everything!?
"Nicely done," Alkaid praised as the Oni succumbed to Angel's holy fire. The job wasn't over yet though as the shades of hell were still busy dealing with the rest of the lesser youkai.
"Thank you," Angel said, flicking a lock of her hair over her shoulder. "So is this going to take long? Seeing as I'm done already, I'd prefer if we hurry it along."
"Oh? But making their pain drag out is its own reward, no?"
Angel just looked at Alkaid like she was stupid. "So you'd rather stand here in the middle of nowhere in the middle of an autumn cold snap, that you added to with that spell of yours mind you, instead of heading back to civilization just so you can enjoy the suffering of some trash level youkai? Are you that petty?"
'Kaidy rolled her eyes and was about to retort but Pyrrha cut in. If she didn't her wife would likely just drag this out even longer just to spite Angel.
"'Kaidy, you know she's right."
Her darling wife growled in displeasure at this but nevertheless conceded the point.
"Fine, I'd rather not have my lovely Py get cold. Axel Shooter, Phalanx Shift."
And proving that she really had just been dragging things out, Alkaid's shooter spell finished up the last of the youkai in a matter of seconds.
"There! Are you happy now?" Alkaid spat irritably once she was done clearing out the last of the rogue youkai even as she dismissed Prison Depths of Lake Cocytus, returning the area back to normal, and the Oval Protection used to protect them from the cold created by the former.
Before the German could reply however they were suddenly startled by the sound of clapping. As one, she, Pyrrha and Angel all spun towards its source and found a diminutive human girl with dark skin, purple eyes, and lavender hair almost as long as her entire body with the number nine emblazoned on her forehead. A being that Alkaid recognized with a shudder as one of the daughters of the Overgods.
"Wow, you sure made those youkai hurt before you let them die, especially that poor Jorogumo." The young looking goddess(?) commented whilst clapping her hands giddily. "As expected of a sadist!"
"Thank you, my lady." Alkaid said warily, offering the powerful being a curtsy.
"Don't mention it. It was just an honest observation."
"I see," Alkaid said carefully, worrying her lip for a moment before deciding to bite the bullet. "My lady, might I ask why you are here?"
"Ah, straight to the point? Do my parents and I scare you that much, Alkaid-chan?"
"To a degree." She hedged.
"Your family scares me more than the Devil did." Pyrrha added more truthly.
"Thanks for the compliment! Now, my parents want to meet you, Potters. Let's go, let's go!" She cheered merrily.
"Just give us a moment, my lady." Alkaid said quickly. "At least let us leave a message behind so others won't worry about us."
"Oh, okay. But hurry up." The Overgods' daughter said with a pout.
Turning to Angel, she said. "We'll be returning to Tomoeda after we pay our respects to the Amanos."
"Take you time," a visibly unnerved Angel replied. "I'll let Sakura-sama know that you were summoned by the Overgods"
"Done yet?" The dark skinned girl with the number tattooed on her forehead asked in a whine. "I'm getting bored."
"Yes," Alkaid said with a nod. "We're ready."
"Yay! Teleport time!" The divine being clapped enthusiastically and from one second to the next, in a transition more smooth than any teleport that Alkaid remembered, she and Pyrrha found themselves transported into a Western-style living room but with traditional Japanese-style shoji panels acting as walls and found the two Amanos waiting for them with tea.
"Welcome back to our home, Alkaid-chan, Pyrrha-chan." The overgoddess said, offering them a welcoming smile that nevertheless set Alkaid on edge. She well remembered her last unsettling encounter with the overgods and how it was the overgoddess that seemed to be the more unstable of the two.
"Oh, don't worry so much." The aforementioned overgoddess with long pink hair and matching eyes that was Amano Yuno, said with grin. "All we want is to have tea with you like Lucifer did, isn't that right, Yuki?"
"Exactly. You have nothing to fear from us." The black haired, blue eyed overgod that was her husband Amano Yukiteru agreed as he gestured to the cups of tea in front of Alkaid and Pyrrha. "Just enjoy your tea."
"Thank you, Lord Yuki." Pyrrha said with a strained smile as she picked up her cup of offered tea.
"Yes, thank you, Lord Yuki, Lady Yuno." Alkaid echoed as she followed her wife's lead and picked up her own cup.
This somehow prompted the two overgods to smile at them which confused Alkaid for a moment. But only for a moment as before she could even begin to think on the matter, the daughter of Hades abruptly blacked out. There was no darkening of her vision. One second she was fully conscious and the next she was completely insensate to the world.
The first thing that Alkaid heard as she woke up from her faint was the voice of her wife. Sadly, it was not her whispering sweet nothings to her but rather complaining at their situation.
"Ugh, can someone get the name of the drakon that ran over my head?" Pyrrha groaned, causing Alkaid to grumble at the noise.
Yet her ears started to pick up something else that had her pale cheeks flush.
The unmistakable sounds of lovemaking.
"...For real?" Pyrrha asked, eyebrow twitching as she sat up.
Adjusting her sitting position from the ungainly one she'd collapsed into when she'd blacked out, Alkaid rubbed her eyes and glanced at the shadows beyond one of the shoji doors of the same living room they'd been earlier. Shadows which were clearly engaged in the horizontal tango just beyond.
"It seems we may be intruding." She observed dryly.
"Yeah. They uh, they're really going at it." Her wife agreed.
"Hello hello~" Another Muru Muru with the number five on her forehead greeted them merrily as she teleported onto the sofa across from them and which her parents had been occupying when Alkaid and Pyrrha had arrived, looking completely unbothered by the noise coming from outside the room.
"Hello?" Alkaid replied tentatively.
"Yeah, hi." Pyrrha said more grumpily. "Can you tell us what happened?"
"Of course!" The tanned girl said, clapping her hands together cheerfully. "That's why I'm here."
"I see, so Lady-"
"Oh, no need for that. Just call me Go-chan!"
"Right, um, Go-chan." Alkaid tried again. "Might you explain what happened to us?"
"Oh, right!" The goddess(?) said, chuckling self-deprecatingly at getting sidetracked. "So basically after how uncomfortable we made you the last time you visited, Papa and Mama decided that this time they would just make you black out and extract your memories whilst you were unconscious."
"Alright, cool. Thank you. Got anything for this throbbing headache though? Please?" Her darling wife asked, rubbing her temple in pain.
"Sadly, we don't have anything for that! It's a side effect that'll fade in time. Nothing can heal it except for time itself!" The young goddess(?) declared with a cheerful giggle.
"Unfortunate." Alkaid said with a wince. The headache was most unpleasant. "But I still thank Lord Yuki and Lady Yuno for their thoughtfulness in trying to make this visit more comfortable for-"
"Yukiii~! Cum in me! Fill me with your baby batter! Make me pregnant!" The aforementioned overgoddess shouted from outside the room, her voice sharp and shrill. It certainly sounded like she was enjoying herself.
"I-I will." Her husband huffed, sounding like he was having a great time as well. "I-I'm almost there. Ah. Ah. Ah. Yunoo~!"
"Yukiiii~!"
The two overgods both screaming each other's name left little doubt that they were having quite the intense joint climax. It was honestly quite heartwarming to know the beings that governed their universe were in such a healthy relationship that they'd manage something like this. Alkaid just wished she wasn't there to bear witness to the evidence of it!
A sentiment that Pyrrha shared by the way she blocked her ears, her face as red as her hair.
"Oh, sorry about that." Go-chan said with a blush.
"Are you really?" Alkaid dryly asked as she tried not to cross her legs.
"Um, a little?" Go-chan said with a shrug. "I mean Mama and Papa have sex anytime, anywhere, whenever the mood strikes them. Which is a lot. Me and my sisters are used to it. There was this one time we were all having a picnic in the garden and they got horny for whatever reason, I forget, and started having sex. Me and my sisters just continued with the picnic whilst they worked out their lust. They joined us picnicking again once they were done. All naked and covered in sex juices mind you. But, yeah, doing it when we have guests is a little embarrassing."
"I see," Alkaid said very dryly.
Why, oh why were so many of the gods, and now even the overgods, insane!?
"'Cos we're powerful and we can get away with it?" Go-chan said with a shrug.
"Sadly, I think you're right." Alkaid said with a sigh.
"As interesting as that is," Pyrrha cut in as the overgods outside the room seemed to have found a new wind after their last climax and were once more back to lovemaking. "What I want to know is what sat your parents off this time?"
"You two actually." Go-chan said with a grin, pointing at Alkaid and Pyrrha, causing them to look at each other in confusion. Seeing this, the tanned divinity continued. "You see, after extracting your memories, Papa and Mama got inspired to make a new world right away! They didn't even make it to their bedroom before they got started!"
"So the multiverse is libido powered?" Pyrrha surmised with a pained expression.
"Sometimes?" Go-chan said with a shrug. "They can make worlds in other ways too. But they like doing it by bonking. So a lot of time, yeah? Then again, they like having sex in general even when they're not making new worlds. It gets so confusing."
Alkaid nodded, pretending to understand just to get out of the room. She was getting frisky by osmosis! Something not helped as the couple beyond the thin shoji doors started upping the ante as they presumably got close to another climax.
"Whelp, any more questions for your mortal brains?"
"We're good." The couple replied.
"Cool! Then until next time, seeyaz!" With that Go-chan snapped her fingers and Alkaid and Pyrrha abruptly found themselves standing outside Sakura's mansion in Tomoeda.
"Well that was an experience." Alkaid said with a tired sigh as she walked over to press the doorbell by the extensive estate's gate.
"Can we not do that again?" Pyrrha asked despite probably knowing the answer.
"Do you think we have a choice?" Alkaid with an arched eyebrow.
"No," Pyrrha said with a resigned sigh.
"Exactly. Let's just hope the next time they ask us to visit them, the Amanos can hold their lust in long enough to only start getting frisky after we leave."
"Amen, 'Kaidy. Amen!"
Omake: Scheming Designs into the Night
After their visit with the Amanos, Sakura had graciously allowed Alkaid and Pyrrha to spend the night in her home to recover from the experience before they had to return to the States and their duties back at Camp Half-Blood. And after one rather tiring romp between the sheets, it seemed the lust stoked by their visit to the Amanos had helped to lift the pall on their sex life that their unpleasant experience in Libido had put over it, that night, Alkaid was getting dressed as quietly as she could for the secret meeting she'd arranged for tonight.
Slipping on the last of her clothing, her blouse, Alkaid padded over to the bed she shared with Alkaid and checked if her beautiful wife was asleep. The daughter of Ares's soft snoring assured her that she was and the ravenette breathed a sigh of relief.
Smiling, she leaned down and offered her sleeping lover a kiss on the cheek before creeping out of the guestroom they had been provided. She had a rendezvous with Tomoyo to make.
"You smell like sex," Tomoyo said bluntly as she opened the door to her home studio for her and Alkaid entered.
"It couldn't be helped." Alkaid said snappishly, "Those Overgods could make nuns get freaky. And besides, you're no different."
"Today was my day with Sakura." The pregnant woman in naught but a nightgown, a very thin almost translucent nightgown, said with a dismissive shrug.
"How was it?"
"Lovely, thank you. Yourself?"
"Toe curling."
"Spicy!" Tomoyo giggled, before her expression turned mischievous. "Now, shall we get down to business?"
"Of course. Let us proceed."
Smiling a scheming smile, the Sorceress Supreme's mistress led Alkaid over to a table on which was an open sketchpad.
"Now," Tomoyo said as they took seats and she gestured to the sketchpad where there was a wireframe presentation of a woman. "I've taken the liberty of doing some basic preparations for us since you asked me for this during dinner."
"And how did you get Pyrrha's measurements?"
"Not just Pyrrha's, yours too, Alkaid." Tomoyo said with a smirk. "And it was easy. I'm a clothing mage. I can guess a person's sizes just by looking at what they wear."
"That must be a fun game to play~"
Tomoyo giggled. "You have no idea. Don't tell Syaoran this, he'd get all hissy at us for it, but sometimes Sakura and I go out into town and she'd point out handsome guys or pretty girls, usually the latter since it's more fun with them, and guess their sizes and I tell her if she's right or wrong. She's gotten really good at guessing a girl's three sizes at a glance."
"Kinky." Alkaid admitted.
"We think so." Tomoyo agreed. "Now, talking about kinky. How kinky do you want these costumes?"
Alkaid smiled wickedly, "I'm feeling bold, so I say the full works. Full leather. Buckles. Corsets."
"As expected of an S." Tomoyo giggled naughtily as she started to do some light sketchings.
"We've been getting more extreme, I guess." Alkaid admitted with a blush.
"Well, I'm just glad you two are over the unhappiness caused by your trip to Libido and can enjoy it again. At least the visit with the Amanos helped with something, huh?"
"You heard about that?"
"Sakura was worried after you and Pyrrha weren't having sex the last couple of nights so she went asking around. Asmodeus told us everything."
"It was a rather unpleasant yet pleasant trip?" Alkaid answered, rubbing her face. "It was very confusing. Sexually, I mean."
"I can imagine." Tomoyo said with a nod of understanding. "Libido does weird things to people who visit. Did you know that's how I got Sakura to finally accept me romantically?"
Alkaid blinked. "What!?"
"Yeah, I had Eriol, he owed me a few favors, arrange for me to get kidnapped by some demon friends of his. They led Sakura on a wild goose chase when she tried to rescue me. One that ended in Libido. She did rescue me eventually, of course, but just as planned she couldn't get us out before we both succumbed to its effects and we ended up fucking each other's brains out. We've been lovers ever since." She sighed like a blushing bride even as she sketched a few dominatrix style costumes on her sketchpad.
"That is both bold and devious."
"A girl has to fight for what she wants! And I wanted her, so it was a necessary sacrifice." Tomoyo said with a grin and presented her finished sketches for Alkaid's inspection. "Anyways, we're off topic. How's this?"
Alkaid felt herself blushing at the attractive dominatrix outfit. "Like I've fallen in love."
"Good. Now, onto some other options. While leather is nice, have you considered a latex outfit for Pyrrha? I'm sure it would show off all her muscles nicely." Tomoyo suggested. "Or maybe-"
"Or maybe I should have some input in this?" Pyrrha asked from the door as Sakura pushed it open for the both of them.
"D-Darling, hi." Alkaid smiled sweetly, looking flustered at the surprise interruption.
"Alkaid wanted to surprise Pyrrha with some new roleplay costumes." Tomoyo explained without a hint of embarrassment or guilt to her own lover as Sakura shot her a questioning look.
Sakura nodded and glanced Pyrrha up and down for a moment before speaking. "Maybe a track athlete outfit? Or a swimsuit?"
"Nah, too plebeian." Tomoyo said with a shake of her head. "I'm pretty sure they have those already. We're here for bespoke work."
Sakura nodded as she took a seat next to her mistress even as Pyrrha stomped over and sat down next to Alkaid, looking at the dominatrix outfit that Tomoyo had sketched as she did.
"That's good. It's more fantastical than the ones we have already. We can role play a fantasy theme or something with it." Pyrrha critiqued. "You do good work, Tomoyo."
"Like barbarian queen and the dark lady?" Tomoyo said with a smile. "And thank you, I try."
"What can I say? Chains and whips excite us."
"Py, you're not upset?" Alkaid asked carefully.
"'Kaidy, I love you but our friends know about our sexcapades. Don't see much of a difference if we talk shop with another couple."
"Your familiar? Rhip? He tells all the other familiars he meets about it." Sakura said with a nod.
Alkaid palmed her face. Someone was not getting any treats for the foreseeable future.
"Oh! Talking about Rhip-kun, maybe something animal themed?"
"Oh, petplay! Leashes can be so fun during bedroom time."
"Don't tell Syaoran that." Sakura said with a sigh. "The last time I even suggested it, he passed out on me. He's so vanilla."
"You love him anyway." Tomoyo said with a giggle. "Besides, you have me for all your kinky needs. I'll happily wear a leash for you~"
"True." Sakura said, pecking Tomoyo's cheek.
"Talking about vanilla… How about an ice cream themed outfit?" Alkaid suggested, to enthusiastic agreement from the others.
Thus the quartet spent the rest of the night discussing costume ideas for the bedroom. A discussion that ended with Alkaid and Pyrrha placing an order with Tomoyo for a dozen outfits and the clothing mage making plans for a five for her and her lover's own use. It was thus an altogether very productive night by all accounts. Very productive indeed.
Done and done! Thanks to Nameless and Axios as always!
And thus we have most of the Japan arc over and done with. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, but it worked out in the end. Sort of? It was fun to toss around some oldie spells we created for Alkaid but forgot about for a while and get her to use them in a fight. She's mostly been doing the diplomat thing as of late. Hope you enjoyed the Cocytus spell!
Nameless: Not quite, E4E. There's still one more SOL arc set mostly in Japan next, don't you remember? One with a hot spring 'episode'?
Oh, duh. Right! We have so many notes I lose track at times. Can't go to Japan without a hot spring 'episode'. And of course we found out the multiverse is made with a bang…ing. Seriously, Overgods have no control, geez.
Nameless: To be fair to that couple… They made love with each other for the first time as the world literally ended. If they can get frisky in that situation, they can get horny any time.
And we had Angel make an appearance. The smarmy divine caster and sort of rival to Alkaid. Really, her Reverse Genji Plan for Sakura's kid… yikes!
Nameless: Yeah, our plans for Angel have changed quite a bit. Originally, she was supposed to be a fierce rival for Alkaid and motivated by seeking Sakura's attention. Now… She's more like a frenemy? I mean they still don't get along enough to even be called friendly rivals or just plain rivals, but she's not out for Alkaid's blood like say Angra Mainyu or Sarah Williams. And with Angel's Reverse Genji Plan… Yeah, the source of their rivalry (which was always one-sided and wholly on Angel's part) has mostly disappeared. She'll still be a foil to Alkaid when she operates in the magical, non-wizarding world though.
