And at long last, here is the sequel. Can't say how often I will update, but for now, hope you enjoy this.

London

Late morning

"Well, I guess we should get started," Jack noted as he, Donna, Marth, Mickey and Wilf stared at the spot where the TARDIS had vanished.

"And how do we do that?" Donna wondered.

"Well, I believe you need to have an uncomfortable conversation with your husband," Jack pointed out and Donna grimaced at the reminder. "The rest of you probably need to fill your families in as much as you can. Our lives will probably not be very smooth for a while, and it's important they understand why. And get the Cubes as far from yourselves and your loved ones as possible. Now that we know what they are, we can make steps to minimize the damage."

"And Boss?" Mickey wondered.

"Amy and Rory's wedding anniversary was yesterday, so he's settling in at their house. We have at least a few weeks before the Cubes attack. We have time to meet up with him, but we have to prepare first," Jack pointed out reasonable.

"Okay, that makes sense. But while we're filling in our families, what are you going to be doing?" Martha wondered and Jack smirked.

"There's a certain organization that UNIT needs to know about. I'll be setting up a meeting," Jack said simply before walking off.

The others stared after him for a moment before, one by one, going their separate ways. Jack was right; they did need to fill in their loved ones.

Mott-Nobble House

Afternoon

Sylvia was waiting uneasily in the kitchen, doing everything she could to avoid thinking about what her father and The Doctor might be talking about. She'd already cleaned the living room and kitchen twice, rearranged all the spices and plates, and was trying to think of what to make for dinner when she heard the front door open.

Sylvia quickly rushed out, seeing her father walking through the door. Sylvia wanted to breath a sigh in relief, but she saw the look on his face. It was the same looked he'd had when The Doctor had returned with the unconscious Donna. Like he'd learned something about someone he loved that had broken his heart.

"Dad? How did it…go?" Sylvia asked uncertainly and Wilf tried to put his thoughts in order.

"I learned many things about The Doctor. And if he's going to save the universe…this time he needs help," Wilf finally said.

Noble-Temple House

Same time

Shaun had just put Will down for his nap when he heard the door close. Walking into the sitting room, he saw Donna put her keys down when she saw him.

"Will give you any trouble?" Donna asked as she walked over, accepting a kiss from her husband with a smile.

"No more than usual. I wish you would have let me go with you today," Shaun said, causing Donna to smile.

"It would probably have been better if you had," Donna said and he looked at her concerned.

"Why? Did something happen?" Shaun asked, his mind racing with possibilities of what whoever had left that note for Donna had done.

"Yes, but nothing like what you're thinking. It would just…it would be easier to explain," Donna finally said, confusing Shaun. "Can we…sit down for a moment?"

Confused, Shaun nodded and they sat down on the sofa, Donna taking his hand, trying to put it into words. Releasing a shuttering breath, she looked Shaun in the eyes as he looked at her, bewildered and concerned by her behavior.

"There are things I need to tell you, things about my past. I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you before, but I need to now, so you can understand," Donna told him before beginning to tell him of her history with The Doctor.

Pond-Williams residence

Same time

"And what do you call this invention?" The Doctor asked curiously as Rory attempted to explain it to him.

"It's called a Wii, it's a gaming system. You've seen those, right?" Rory asked and The Doctor nodded.

"Yes, a few of the people I've traveled with have mentioned them," The Doctor nodded, remembering both Rose and Mickey doing so.

"Well, you just select a game. We have a lot of sports ones, you have any sports you like?" Rory inquired.

"I've always been fond of tennis," The Doctor noted and Rory nodded.

"Okay, tennis is it. And then you just do that," Rory said, showing The Doctor how it worked.

"I see then, I understand now. AHA! Yes! Thought you could beat me, did you?! We'll see!" The Doctor shouted, already engrossed in the game as he began to play.

Rory laughed at his friend's antics before leaving him alone, heading into the kitchen, where his wife was cleaning up after lunch.

"The Doctor all right?" Amy asked as she put the dishes away.

"Yeah, I just showed him to play on the Wii. He's being…well, him," Rory noted and Amy laughed. "This is weird, yeah? Him staying here?"

"Probably, but when has that ever stopped him before?" Amy pointed out and Rory nodded, conceding her point when they head what sound like a thud.

"It's fine! I just got too excited and hit the wall!" The Doctor shouted from the living room and the Ponds exchanged an exasperated look.

"We're going to have to make sure he doesn't hurt himself, aren't we?" Rory deadpanned.

"It's him, what do we expect?" Amy said with a laugh, pulling him into a kiss and Rory found he had been thinks to do than worry about The Doctor.

Not a very long chapter that basically just shows everyone with their loved ones (didn't do Martha and Mickey because I don't think they'd tell Martha's family too much outside 'The Doctor needs our help') but hope you enjoyed it anyway. The first couple chapters are basically just going to be build up to the reunion with The Doctor while Jack does some important stuff in the background.

Until my next update everyone.
