In this au, both Dabi and Toga are 17. Dabi and Toga became good friends while they were in the LoV, mainly due to the age difference between them and the other members. Dabi is like the brother that Toga never had; the only other member either of them are remotely close to is Twice. (I don't know where it's starting point should be, if you have any ideas, tell me. I thinking around the time the LoV kidnapped Bakugou, but I want you opinion)
Saying things were going badly would be an understatement.
A couple months before, Shigaraki promoted the idea to attack Yuuei (again). This idea was against everyone's recommendations; because, as of recently, Yuuei's security system was the best it had ever been. The media have started to say that it's the safest building in all of Japan.
Still, Shigaraki insisted, saying 'It's now or never, everybody.' Consequently, they had started planning their break in. Either those few words had really inspired everyone, or they were scared for their lives. Most likely the latter, though Shigaraki seemed to think it was the former.
On December 12th, they executed their plan. Unfortunately, the crew was right, and now they were all trapped with no way of escape. Kurogiri, their escape man, hadn't met them at the rendezvous point in time, and now they were surrounded by heroes.
Both Dabi and Toga, the two youngest of the bunch, were being held by heroes. Both knocked unconscious, and bleeding out. If not given medical care soon, they would probably die from blood loss. Kurogiri could now warp them out at any time, but that would leave Dabi and Toga with the heroes. So, here they were.
Endeavor spoke first, "Either you leave Dabi and Toga, or you all come with us."
Twice, being himself, responded, "Never! Right Boss!"
Shigaraki didn't have any attachments to either of them himself, but their quirks were useful. Though the more he thought about it, both of their quirks—especially Toga's—are most effective with the element of surprise; and they've lost that. Weighing the options, he made his choice.
"Kurogiri! Get us out of here!"
"What!?" Shigaraki could hear protests from a few of his members, but before anyone could do anything, a portal opened underneath them. They were all teleported away, abandoning Dabi and Toga.
Endeavor, Eraserhead, and a few other staff members were left stunned. With the two villains, they made their way back to Yuuei.
Eraserhead, carrying the captives, busted into the infirmary.
"Recovery Girl! I need you now!" Instantly, Recovery Girl came running over. She saw the two villains and gasped.
"What Happened!?" She yelled. Both villains were on the verge of death, even though they were enemies, Recovery Girl could never allow someone to die without trying to save them. She took the younglings from Eraserheads arms and put them on beds, bandaging them while asking a million questions.
"What Happened? Who Did This?" and others along those lines.
Eraserhead, trying to help where he could, replied. "Ask Endeavor"
Back at the base, Shigarki was having a hard time keeping everyone under control. None of them were particularly close to those two (except Twice), but they didn't find it fair to leave them. Who knows if they're even alive. It wouldn't be surprising if the heroes just left them to bleed out, especially if that hero was Endeavor, who seemed to be in charge.
"Why would you do that!"
"We have to go get them!"
"Not cool, man"
These were along many of the things the crew had to say. Twice seemed to be particularly mad, as for reasons no-one was aware of, the two young villains decided to connect with him (who was SIGNIFICANTLY older than them) over others who were…closer to their age.
All of this was pissing Shigaraki off, and Kurogiri quickly took notice of this. He raised his hand for silence and soon everyone was quiet. Unlike Shigaraki, they didn't listen to Kurogiri because they were scared, they all genuinely respected him.
Shigaraki promptly stood up, and glared at each and every one of them. Everyone tensed, even Kurogiri, who was spared from the glares.
"I did what I had to do." Shigaraki said nothing else before walking to his room. Kurogiri followed.
Everyone shared a glance, silently talking to each other. They all knew something neither Shigaraki nor Kurogiri knew…and it scared them.
The first chapter is always the shortest, the next one will be a LOT longer as a lot of things are happening. As always, leave a review, even if you don't want me to continue this story. I want you guys to tell me my weak points in writing so I can improve. Anyway, enjoy the rest of your day/night!
