BGM: Field - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Weiss looked through her Sheikah Slate as she was walking through the fields. "It's only showing the Great Plateau?"
She gently shook the Sheikah Slate and lightly smacked it, hoping the map would open up around her, but to her dismay, no such luck.
"Well… guess I'm wandering around blind." She said as she started walking toward the twin peaks.
However, she turned her sights at Hyrule Castle and rubbed her chin in thought. Perhaps a little recon wouldn't hurt…
She looked at her slate and put down a marker of where she currently was, and then wandered off to Hyrule Castle.
Go to Hyrule Castle. Locate the princess. Turn around and head off to get stronger. Come back as a badass Mage Knight and kick Calamity Ganon's ass and free the princess… while also managing to get your lost memories.
Sounds easy enough.
She confidently walked through Hyrule Field, feeling as if the castle was getting closer and closer. She had her weapons, she had her glyphs and ice magic, she had her runes…
"What can possibly go wrong?" Weiss asked confidently.
However… as she got closer…
A red dot appeared on her chest.
"Huh?" Weiss looked down, wondering what it was about as a red circle surrounded the dot.
…And it started blinking.
Weiss looked up just in time to see a laser being shot at her. She gasped and quickly rolled out of the way as the ground exploded near her.

BGM: Battle - Guardian (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Weiss looked up to see a Guardian approaching her. Her eyes widened at the size of the beast as it towered over her. She remembered how she got past that one decayed Guardian in the Great Plateau.
She immediately used Magnesis on the Guardian, hoping to flip it upside down and humiliate it.
…To her dismay, the Magnesis did not work on the Guardian that was alive. She tried one of the legs, lifting it up as the Guardian looked at its leg lifting up… and proceeded to shake it around to mess with the Magnesis until it no longer could latch on.
With a growl, Weiss pulled out a Traveler's Sword and proceeded to swing at the Guardian… and it proceeded to snap in half after a few good swings. "What?!" She wondered as she conjured up ice magic and froze the eye over.
The Guardian simply wiped the ice off of it and proceeded to charge up the laser again. Weiss let out a whimper and proceeded to run away as the Guardian was still locked on to her.
Once it was fully charged, the Guardian fired the laser, striking the ground just inches from Weiss's heels, but it was enough to make her go flying as she crashed into the ground several yards away.
End BGM
The Guardian approached the blast sight and looked down, seeing Weiss's KO'd body on the ground. It used one of its legs to shake Weiss to make sure she was unresponsive.
The Guardian pulled away, seemingly nodding at its kill and wandered off back to its post.

Weiss groaned, sitting up as her whole body ached. "Uuungh…" She moaned. Those lasers hit like a massive boulder.
She stumbled to get herself up, using another sword as leverage to get her back up. She used the sword as a walking stick as she hobbled over to the Twin Peaks.
Energy soon returned to her legs as she put her sword away, but her body still ached. She could've sworn she was hearing a "I told you so!" as she walked into some ruins as she sat down to rest, her whole body continuing to scream in agony.
"That was stupid… that was really really stupid…" Weiss groaned, her breathing a bit labored. She glanced over to see a treasure chest. She opened it up… and found some Sapphire. It felt cool to the touch so she put it on her forehead to ease the migraine that was plaguing her head.
She leaned her head out the window and saw a shrine nearby. She gathered up the courage, despite her body protesting, to get up and hobbled her way to the shrine.
She pulled out the Sheikah Slate, thankful that it didn't break from that metal monster's explosive attack and put it on the pedestal, then she walked in.

The Wind Guides You
Weiss looked at a fan on the wall along with some stairs that were blowing into a treasure chest along a small gap.
She forced her sore body onto the stairs, her feet aching after each step while wincing. She hoped off as the wind pushed her across as she grabbed the chest that was in front of her. Her reward was some amber.
She hopped off the small ledge, feeling the excruciating pain from her sore feet as she did so as she climbed up some stairs and found another fan puzzle to work through.
She walked to the left and hopped off, using her Paraglider to ride the wind as she hopped down right before she faceplanted into a metal gate. She walked further and then used another fan to get her to the shrine… but a treasure chest caught her eye as she glided over and landed on the platform, opening it up and finding herself a Soldier's Claymore.
Weiss strapped it to her back and hopped down, where she used the wind again to carry her to the shrine once more… and once she got a Spirit orb, she felt all her aches and pains disappear as she took a deep breath, feeling as if her rib cage wasn't stabbing her lungs.

Weiss walked out, completely refreshed as she sighed deeply. "Much better." She said as she walked through the bridge and knocked out a few Bokoblins along the way until she saw the Dueling Peaks tower.
She approached it and found it was surrounded by a body of water. She used Cryonis to give herself some platforms as she hopped across and started to climb, using the platforms around the tower for a short rest before she continued to climb and made her way to the top.
She walked over to the main pedestal and put her Sheikah Slate into it, which in turn caused the tower to activate and then a drop of water hit the Slate, causing more of the map to open up to her.
"West Necluda… okay then." She nodded as she hopped down and landed in the water, then she climbed out and walked through the Dueling Peaks, with her occasionally using her Cryonis to lift some fish from the water as she hopped over to retrieve them, using an arrow to kill them as she put the dead Hyrule Bass into her bag and kept walking.
At that moment, her Sheikah Slate "booped" as she pulled it out. She would notice a message that she hadn't seen earlier.
Sheikah Slate updated: Sheikah sensor activated. When you are near a shrine, the sensor will activate and get louder as you get close to one.
"Huh! That's useful." She said as she walked along as the beeping got louder until she accidentally smacked into a rock wall. She raised her slate up high as the sensor was pointing up.
With a nod, Weiss started climbing the rock wall until she found the shrine in question. "Ah!" She smiled as she approached it and went inside.

Timing is Critical
Weiss spotted a ball on top of a platform and noticed a switch on the ground. She pressed her foot as the platform turned into a ramp and made the ball freely roll on down and hit the switch at the end, causing a platform to move toward her.
She hopped on as the platform moved on to the next puzzle as she spotted two ramps. She figured the ramps would manipulate opposite of each other… but as she stepped on the switch, both platforms tilted parallel from each other.
"Oh!" Weiss stepped off, which caused the platforms to return to position as the ball rolled off and landed on the lower platform and made its way down to the switch safely. She hopped onto the moving platform that came alive and moved on over to the final one.
She looked at the platform in question as she noticed the target was further away from the ramp. She decided to test it out, thinking it was just deceiving… but the ball rolled off into the abyss.
"Oh…" Weiss frowned as she stepped off. "Sooooo, do I just get out and start over or-"
At that moment, another ball landed on the platform courtesy of a ball receiver. "Oh! Okay." She smiled as she tried again, only this time she hopped off at the last second, causing the ramp to lift up and made the ball fly a little before landing inside the target.
"Got it!" Weiss smiled as she hopped on the platform but noticed a treasure chest nearby. She made a glyph and wondered if she could step on it. To her surprise, she was able to successfully stand on it as she made another glyph before opening up the treasure chest, pulling out… a Climber's Bandana.
"What the…?" She wondered as she stared at it before shrugging and wrapped it around her forehead before making her way to the shrine to get herself a Spirit Orb.

She walked out of the shrine and saw some sparks rising from the ground. She looked down and saw some Bokoblins and a Lizalfos camping around. She smiled… before pulling out a Remote Bomb and throwing them a few of them and setting them off, which also had them explode next to some explosive barrels to make all of them go flying.
Several Bokoblins drowned in the river as Weiss hopped down and impaled a dazed and confused Lizalfos, then she grabbed a few sticks and roasted the Hyrule Bass she collected, eating one of them before turning her attention to the Lizalfos.
She cut off its tail and roasted it by the fire and then took a bite. "Mmm… needs some seasoning." She said, putting the Lizalfos Tail in her bag and walked off, where her Sheikah Sensor alerted her of another shrine nearby, and when she got close… she found one in the water but surrounded by a small spiky fortress that was able to get through via Cryonis and walked in.

The Water Guides
Weiss walked up to a waterfall coming out of the wall as she simply use cryonis to make herself a platform on the floor and climbed up, but then noticed that there was no ground for the next waterfall.
"...I wonder." She mused as she used Cryonis on the waterfall, where a platform extended out of the wall. "Oh, cool!"
She climbed her way up, noticing a small platform above her as she continued to climb until she saw the platform contained a chest. She opened it up… and found a purple Rupee.
Weiss blinked, staring at the color of the Rupee as she couldn't help but smile as she put the Rupee into her bag and hopped down and moved on over to where she saw a water wall with a ball rolling down into the abyss continuously.
She rubbed her chin in thought, studying the wall as she used Cryonis to get a feel for the puzzle.
Through some trial and error, the ball hit the first ice wall as it dropped down and landed on the seesaw held up by another ice block as it rolled down onto the last one as a boost before landing on a switch.
Weiss nodded in satisfaction as she walked down the stairs and into the gate that opened up, and wandered in to grab herself a Shrine Orb after breaking the barrier.

Once she got out, she immediately turned her attention to a building up ahead, noticing that there was a head of a horse on the building.
"Hmm?" She wondered as she curiously approached it.
BGM: Stables (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"Hey there, welcome to the stable!" The stablehand said. "What can I do for you? Do you want to rest up, take a nap, register a horse? What would you like to do?"
"I wouldn't mind having a bite to eat."
"Excellent choice! Feel free to get some food in the back and cook it up yourself."
"So much for hospitality…"
"I mean… we don't exactly have a kitchen…" He said as Weiss peeked in.
"...Fair enough." Weiss nodded. "Sorry about that."
"Ah, don't worry about it! You're not the first one who said something similar." He said as Weiss went in to see what she could find, and picked up some mushrooms and raw meat as she moved outside and put it over the fire.
"Hey there!" A voice said as Weiss turned her head. "Do you want to buy from our wares? It might help you along the way!"
"Mmm. Sure. Who are you anyway?"
"The name's Beedle! My traveling companion went off to find some material, so she should be ba-"
"Heeeey, Beedle! I found some Hyrulian Bass!" A voice called out as Weiss looked to see a young woman approaching. Blonde hair, a brown jacket over a yellow shirt and some extremely black short shorts… not to mention it looked like she was flaunting her chest without a care in the world.
"Ah, nice one!" Beedle smiled as he turned to Weiss. "This is Yang, my companion I was telling you about."
"Helloooooooo~!" Yang waved. "Name's Yang Xiao Long, nice to meet ya!"
"Hi. I'm Weiss Schnee."
"Schnee?" Yang raised an eyebrow. "That's peculiar… I could've sworn I heard all the Schnees went extinct a hundred years ago."
Extinct?! That's a bit much! Weiss thought in horror.
"Um… it's a different branch of Schnees that survived the tragedy?" Weiss said, unsure of it would work.
"Tragedy? You mean the Calamity?"
"Y-yeah, that's what I meant."
Yang shrugged. "Eh, I can buy it. So… where you headed?"
"Um… to Kakariko."
"Ooooh, that's pretty far from here. Perhaps some of our wares might suffice?"
"Um… how much are you selling for?" Weiss asked as she reached into her pocket. "All I got is a Purple Rupee, but I don't know how much that's worth."
"Pfffft! You don't know how much it's worth? Were you actually born yesterday?" Yang teased with a laugh.
No, but I woke up from a hundred year nap…
"Uh… it slipped my mind?" Weiss lied.
"How can a Rupee worth fifty slip your mind?" Yang asked.
"Well… I can see where she's coming from." Beedle said. "I mean, you typically see green, blue and red with the occasional silver and gold. A purple wouldn't be all that common."
"Aaaah, right, right…"
Phew… Weiss thought. "I don't know if a Purple Rupee would be worth much."
"Ah, but you can sell us some stuff instead. We'll take aaaanythiiiing~!" Beedle smiled as Weiss looked into her bag, pulling out the ores that she collected.
"How about some of these?"
"Oooooh! We'll take it!" Yang smiled as Weiss handed them over…
…Only for a cane to wrap around her neck and pulled Weiss away.
"Hack!" She yelped.
"Now what do we have here? You think you want to sell those Ores to those cheapskates over there?"
"Ugh… you two…" Yang frowned.
Weiss looked up to see who had yanked her away, seeing a man in a bowler hat and a small young woman with brown and pink hair.
"Who are you two?"
"Ah, I'm so glad you asked! Name's Roman Torchwick and this is my business partner, Neopolitan… though we call her Neo for short."
Neo said nothing as she made a friendly wave with a dorky smile.
"Neo doesn't talk much. She used to be quite the chatterbox, but an arrow to the throat from a good for nothing Bokoblin archer did a number on her." Roman explained. "Sure, she recovered but her voice? Totally gone."
Neo waved it off. ["I'm used to it."] She said via sign language.
Weiss raised an eyebrow. "Why are you making weird hand gestures?"
"What, you never seen sign language before?" Roman laughed. "I kid, I kid. So, how about taking a look at our wares-"
"Don't pay attention to these boneheads. Torchwick's got some good stuff but they're greedy." Yang said with her arms folded. "Seriously, six hundred Rupees for some high valuable bows, swords and other cool stuff? Give me a break! Who has that much money on them anyway?"
"We sell good stuff, blondie." Roman said. "Not to mention the rarer they are, the higher the price. It's called good business. Meanwhile, you two simply collect bugs, frogs, a bunch of arrows… some fish… come on."
"And yet we have all the customers." Yang said.
"You buy ore for what, a hundred Rupees a piece?"
"Rubies are worth two hundred and ten, Sapphire and Topaz are a little more than that. Diamonds are worth five hundred." Yang folded her arms.
"We double that!" Roman smiled. "Helps that we have a lot of Rupees on hand with all the Ore we find and sell off."
Beedle shook his head. "To me, it doesn't matter who you buy from, as long as you have enough Rupee- huh? Weiss? Where'd you go?"
"Hmm?" Roman noticed a blinking white outline of Weiss. "Huh, where'd she run off to? Neo, did you see her anywhere?"
Neo shrugged.
"Well, that's a shame." Roman then smiled at Yang and Beedle. "Welp, toodles!"
The two of them took off running.
"Ugh… I swear those two are scam artists…" Yang mumbled. "And those smiles? Ugh, rubs me the wrong way!"
"Now now, they're just good business folk just like we are."
"Yeah, true…"

Back with Weiss…
Resume Field - Day BGM
"Those four are weirdos!" Weiss said, having stashed her ore back into the bag while munching on a meat and mushroom skewer.
She soon came to a fork in the road with a sign in between.
Kakariko Village - To the Left
Hateno - To the Right
Weiss wandered to the left, walking across the trail as she put her skewer back in the bag as she soon found a traveler sitting down along the path while holding on to his shin.
"You feeling okay?" Weiss wondered.
"Agh, just twisted my ankle… maybe some food will help me heal up? Hahaha…"
"Oh, sure." Weiss pulled out an apple and handed it to him.
"Ah, thank you." He said as he took a bite, then stood up with a friendly smile. "I want to thank you…"

He suddenly smirked wickedly.
"WITH YOUR BLOOD!"
"Huh?" Weiss wondered as the traveler transformed into a Yiga clan member.
BGM: Master Kohga Battle (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)
"What the heck is…?!" Weiss wondered as the Yiga charged ahead and slashed her with his sickle, forcing Weiss to nearly bend backwards to avoid it hitting her neck as the Yiga jumped to the side and threw kunai at her, but she blocked with her shield.
What's this guy's problem?! She thought as the Yiga disappeared, only to reappear next to Weiss and slashed at her but she blocked and counter attacked with her Claymore, striking him in the chest.
"Hnnngh!" The Yiga grunted as he backflipped and threw shuriken at her but she blocked again, only for him to disappear and reappear behind her, kicking her behind the knee and making her fall on one knee.
"Harumph!" He kicked her in the face shortly after to send her flying back.
In the air, however, Weiss smirked and pressed a button on her Sheikah Slate as the Yiga looked down and saw a cube Remote Bomb in front of him, unaware that the Mage Knight planted a bomb before she was kicked in the face.
The Remote Bomb blew up, knocking the Yiga away as Weiss landed on the ground on her back, where she bounced up and flipped herself over as she pulled out her Traveler's Bow and fired an arrow, but the Yiga disappeared before the arrow could strike him.
Weiss shifted her eyes, quickly rolling out of the way while dropping a Remote Bomb where she was right as the Yiga came striking down.
"GLORY TO MASTER KOH-... uh oh!"
The Remote Bomb detonated, sending him flying as Weiss aimed and fired the arrow right as he recovered, only to get an arrow to the face and sent him crashing to the ground in defeat.

Weiss approached the Yiga on the ground. "Tell me. What the hell was that for?" She demanded… only for the Yiga to not respond due to the head shot. "...Oh. Right." She nodded as she decided to dig through his pockets out of curiosity.
A few Rupeess and… Bananas?
Weiss raised an eyebrow at the bananas before shrugging as she put the Rupees in her pockets, along with the sickle and the kunai and shuriken before looking at the Yiga. She looked both ways before encasing her hand in ice and putting it on his chest, freezing the corpse solid and kicking it down the hill.
She broke apart a banana from the bunch and put the rest away in the bag, then she walked through the path while opening it up and taking a bite out of it with a hum… and as she progressed, she noticed a peculiar tree trunk dancing.
"Huh…? That's quite an unusual dance."

BGM: Whimsical (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
"Wee-hee-hee! Finally, finally, finally! Somebody sees me! Shakala-laka!"
"Were you… always there before?"
"I was just trying to get your attention!"
Weiss sweatdropped, taking a bite out of her banana. "I see… so uh… you got a name?"
"Oh! I am the one who brings song and dance to Korok Forest! Hestu!"
"...I see. Anyway. I'm Weiss Schnee and-"
"Weiss Schnee? That name rings a bell!" He said as he noticed the Sheikah Slate. "...Wait a second…! You're the Mage Knight from a hundred years ago! I thought you were dead!"
"Uuuuh…"
"Come to think of it, does that mean the princess is alive too? And the other Champions?" He let out a gasp. "Have they all been playing dead and have been waiting for the perfect time to make a comeback?! …Wait, shoot, that would mean the Rito is alive too! Awwwwwwww… I don't like that particular Rito. He was such a meanie head!"
Weiss sweatdropped again. What is he blabbering about? She wondered. "I have… no idea what you're talking about."
"You don't recognize me? I helped you through Korok Forest a hundred years ago! Wait, is it because I don't have my maracas? It's because I don't have my maracas, isn't it? Awww…"
"Um… I dunno."
"I lost my maracas earlier and some scary monsters have it. Can you please go get them for me? They're not that far!"
"Sure… I guess?"
"Yay!" Hestu gave Weiss a hug. "Oh, I knew you'd say yes! Thank you thank you thank you!"
Weiss pulled away. "You're welcome…" She said as she turned around and walked to where Hestu pointed toward, and when she got close, she saw two Bokoblins sitting around next to a chest… to which she promptly blew up with a Remote Bomb, sending both off a cliff as one landed in a river while another crashed through tree branch before slamming into the ground in a daze.
Weiss finished her banana as she tossed it into the fire while she opened up the chest to pull out some maracas. She turned around and walked the other way to meet up with Hestu. "I got your maracas!"
"Oh thank you so much, shaka-laka!" Hestu smiled. "Now, I can expand your inventory if you'd like!"
"Um… I got an item bag that's infinite space, so-"
"What?! Awww… Shoko…" Hestu pouted. "...Oh! Wait, I got a better idea!"
"What is it?"
"Stand right there for me…" He proceeded to dance around, where a wave of green energy surrounded Weiss.
"Wha…?"
Hestu finished dancing. "Da-na-na-na-naaaaaa~!" He sang. "I just gave you the Korok Forest speciality! Healing magic! Now you can heal your friends or heal yourself if you're in a pinch!"
"Oh, uh… thank you!"
"Any time! Now I just gotta head back to Korok Forest. Bye now~!" Hestu took off running. "And make sure you remember meeeee!"

"He's… an odd one." Weiss chuckled. "Weird… I'm getting the strangest sense of nostalgia…" She mused before shrugging as she walked off, making her way through some sort of canyon, finding some Ore Deposits as she swung her sword to destroy them and get some Flint, Amber or even a Ruby.
She soon came across a sign that caught her attention.
"Welcome to Kakariko!"
Weiss smiled as she walked a bit further and found herself walking into Kakariko Village.
"I made it."
I was originally just gonna have Hestu wander away sadly when he felt he wasn't needed for item expansion, but as much as I don't like him, I just thought "What if I have him give Weiss healing magic? Yeah... that'll work."
Originally, I had Impa give her healing magic, but I felt "Nah, let's make Hestu happy and give it to Weiss instead."
