Padfoot

It took little time for her to realize that Harry was deeply troubled by something. There is just a more powerful and raw energy that accompanied his moods and Luna had come to know them quite well. Her dreamy smile and whimsical voice calling, "Hello Harry Potter."

Luna turned to see Harry Deep in thought walking into the stands with Ron and Hermione. The raven-haired boy began to rub at his famous scar. Luna and Hermione both noticed, Hermione however spoke first, "Are you okay Harry?" The boy signaled to step out of the stands and led the small group to stand under a tree near to the Lake. Once safely out of earshot of people who might try to interfere Harry said, "He has Padfoot somewhere in the Ministry." Luna looked at the boy, her rational mind kicking into gear. Something just felt off about what she was hearing. A slightly confused Neville asked, "Who has whom at the Ministry?" Harry looked at the bot who had never once doubted him and decided that he deserved the truth. Continuing to rub his scar Harry said, "Voldemort has my Godfather."

Luna looked at Harry who was trying to relieve the pain in his forehead, nodding, "Does that sound like him, to risk someone so easily disposed of and identifiable?" The raven-haired boy smiled, "It would be just like him." Luna shook her head, "I do not mean Sirius, I mean Dumbledore. Does this sound like something that he would let happen?" Ron smiled," She has a point mate, he always has a plan, Dumbledore would never let Sirius take that kind of risk." Hermione slightly taken aback by a more rational discussion without her directing it said, "We can use the flu in the High Inquisitor's Office, just check on Sirius." The raven-haired boy nodded reluctantly. "Even when the bloody snake mate attacked dad you told Dumbledore and McGonagall. Let us consider who we tell if this turns out to be real."

The group walked silently enlisting the use of the secret passages that Harry knew by heart thanks to twins and began the trip to the Office Delores Umbridge currently used. Unfortunately, they no longer had possession of the Marauders Map, and so they would require luck. They were fine until they entered the hallway outside of the office where peeves though it would be hilarious to start throwing water balloons at anyone who would dare to enter. One such balloon hitting Neville who slipped. Peeves, taunted, "I think that I should tell the High Inquisitor about this. Yes, I think that I should." Or came Hermione cut him off , "I should go and get the Bloody Barron, and have him deal with you." The poltergeist ran out of the way and the group proceeded the rest of the way up to the office.

Once there Ron, along with Luna and Neville accepted the post to watch for any unwelcome intruders. Harry softly opened the door and activated the only flu not monitored currently at the school. Taking a handful of ashes, he poured them into the flu stating, "12 Grimwauld Place" At first no one was home and that worried Harry. The spacious room which appeared in front of Harry was clearly empty, and this seemed to all but confirm Harry's worst fears.

Then, just as he was about to give up, there was a movement in the room, Kreacher stood there in front of him. If the elf would answer him, the boy asked, "Is Sirius at home?" The boy nervously waited aware that the elf hated him. The elf complained, "Bad Master Sirus will never return from Department of Mysteries."

Unfortunately, before he could press anymore, Harry felt someone pull him out of the flu. The pink toad had returned and caught him communicating with her flu. There behind her were Crabbe, Goyle, and Malfoy, holding Ron, Neville, and Luna, along with Ginny. Pansy Parkinson who stood a little to the side, had no one to guard. Umbridge turned and sent her to fetch veritaserum and Professor Snape. The greasy haired Professor followed his student to the office, "Miss Parkinson tells me that you require veritaserum. Unfortunately, you have used the last of it. I am now brewing some more. You are of course aware that it takes months to prepare" The pink toad was not thrilled with this information.

The hook-nosed Professor turned to leave, in that instance Harry realized that he had no choice but to trust Snape. The boy cried out, "He has Padfoot at the place it is hidden." The greasy git took no notice of the outburst but continued into his departure. Robes billowing behind him the last remaining member of the Order of the Pheonix on the grounds disappeared. As the toad was undeterred in her hope to remake Hogwarts into what in her mind was a proper wizarding school. A strange grin overcame the witch's face, as she determined that desperate times call for desperate measures.

Putting the picture she kept of Minister Cornelius Fudge, the pink toad said, "What Cornelius doesn't know won't hurt him." She proceeded to cast the Cruciatus Curse at a softer Hermione, knowing that the Potter boy could resist the unforgivable. The aim hit the wild-haired girl who clearly was in a great deal of pain. The toad stopped momentarily, "What does he have?" The witch sighed, a secret weapon something that he did not have last time." The pink menace sent another "Crucio" at Hermione. The girl did not flinch this time more prepared for it, "In the woods." The squad held the remaining members of the DA while the pink toad went to take Harry and Hermione to have them show her to the weapon. The pink menace ordering, "Show me!" Hermione acquiesced with a slight nod of her head. As though conceding that this was a massive betrayal.

The three started out down the door and down the staircases and out to the main grounds and towards the forbidden forest!
