Highwind of change

Chapter 1 -Ascension

There is a strange phenomenon in the Wizarding world, one not well documented. It was first seen in the time of Merlin and has happened as recent to such powerful wizards such as Dumbledore and Voldemort. There has been many theories and debates on the nature of magic but the answer is quite simple, it's a primordial force, it's what gives breath to the universe. Every creature and being in the world has magic, magical folks may have more of it but non mystics have also shown signs of it. When muggles perform superhuman or supernatural feats they are tapping into the little amount they have. Now back to this phenomenon, you see magic is a neutral force and once affinity for it changes throughout life. Just like a personality, your experiences shape and changes your magic and what I'm about to document is the highest order of this. When one is in a complete state of harmony with their magic there is a possibility of an evolution. This harmony comes in many forms, examples are high druids in deep meditation or a duelist in a "flow state". Whatever the stimulus one's magic is extremely malleable and great change or refinement is possible and unlocks powers that seem unworldly. I have tried to come up with a name for this phenomenon but the only word fitting I ave for it is simple. I'll simple call it an Ascension.

-Merrick Shepard, The Nature of Magic

Harry Potter was tired, well he was a lot of things but tired summed it up the best. 14 years old and he had the bright idea to outfly a DRAGON. Well atleast it hadn't killed him yet, hell he actually wasn't worried about it in all honesty, not like he hasn't similar feats. A possessed teacher when he was 11, a basilisk when he was 12, and don't even get him started on last year. He just wanted a normal life but I guess when the greatest dark lord of the time tries to kill you when you're a year old he figured maybe this was as normal as you get. This year though was the strangest yet and it started so promising too.

A loud roar brought him back to the current day, the Hungarian Horntail was ready for another round of cat and mouse.

A blast of fire rocketed its way towards Harry and he skillfully weaved around it. After dodging the torrent of fire he sent a stunner at hoping that it would have some effect, the Horntail noticed it but showed annoyance more than anything. Harry didn't know this but that was a better showing than a the average adult wizard.

The-Boy-Who-Lived really didn't have time to plan ahead in this encounter, it had turned into a battle of instinct and will. A spiral dive under a clawed swipe saved his life but the Horntail was adapting and twisted its body to for a jet of flames to be released. Looking as if the Potter line would end this day a strange event unfolded.

"Protego"

Without thinking Harry rolled toward with his broom and cast a shield charm, and the deadly inferno surrounded him. An older Harry would look back on this moment and admit he was having more fun then he should have. He was in the air a place where he always had a clear head. He was in a battle a place where he always felt comfortable. He was against a dragon a being of high magical energy, and all these factors invoked a change

A deafening roar sounded out and even though Harry and the dragon have been flying around the castle of Hogwarts, the crowd waiting for the first task to end on the other side of the castle still had to cover their ears. Harry didn't hear a roar, he heard a laugh.

"Let's see human, are you worthy of being my dragoon?" Echoed loudly in the sole Potter's head

Reinforcing his shield with all the magic he could muster and a shout Harry charged through the firestorm surrounding him and faced the Horntail, what he heard finally registering m

"What?" He asked mystified

The dragon had a look of clarity on its face and looked him straight in the eye. Green met orange reptilian.

"My kind has tells about humans, ones who have the potential of dragons." The strange voice resonated again in his head

"Now show me you are worthy to be a dragoon of a descendant of Buhamut!" It continued

Harry couldn't even begin to explain what was happening but he knew this voice belonged to the dragon in front of him and its presence had gotten heavier. A tingling at the back of his neck was his only warning before the dragon darted at him with even greater speed and he wouldn't be able to dodge it. His being told him he only had one option and still running on auto pilot he listened to his instincts again

In a maneuver that most would call bloody insane he let go of broom and let himself fall.

The dragon surprised as it hit nothing but air was impressed, this human boy had a great understanding of the sky but wanted to see what he would do next as it gathered breath. Not all dragons are born equal, depending on ancestry and power some had more abilities than others. Fire breathing was the lowest of the low in terms of abilities for dragons and modern day humans could barely keep up with that. This particular Hungarian Horntail just happened to be born a genetic mutation in the controlled environment of the dragon reserve.

"Accio!" Harry shouted and his Firebolt raced into his waiting hand just as the dragon released its attack

What was released wasn't fire or even ice but a blast a pure magic faster than breath salvo before it. Harry darted skyward to avoid the beam of pure magic and the Horntail moved it head to it attack could follow. Harry was in the zone though

Strangely more at peace than he should have been he continued his flight pattern until he had a decent shot at the dragon and sent a blasting curse at its mouth causing it to shut its month and recoil.

"Splendid!" The Horntail roared and it eyes glowed with an ethereal glow and stared at Harry as if looking into his very soul and that's when our hero felt it.

It was as if his insides were on fire and twisting, as if something inside him was changing. A wave of pain hit him as he fell from his broom and he didn't have the mental capacity to recreate that maneuver from earlier but this time the dragon caught him

"Congratulations human, tell me the name of my dragoon." The voice that Harry had determined to be the dragon's sounded once again in his head

"Harry Potter." The boy responded between breaths, he didn't know what was going on but he'd dealt with stranger things than this. His magic that was swelling before was subsiding and the pain was leaving

"Well young Harry my name is Sylvi and we have much to discuss but first." The newly identified Sylvi spoke before her eye gave a ethereal glow again as she lifted Harry to eye level

Harry's right eye also too on a ethereal glow as to two connected, thoughts and knowledge passing between the two in an instant.

"Well as much as I would like to get answers for….whatever this is, I have a task to finish Sylvi." Harry spoke as a small headache started to form

"Ah yes, this silly game that you humans have brought me for. Yes let us be off." Sylvi spoke and flew off toward the arena.

Out of all the outcomes he envisioned the first task going riding on the back of a dragon was not one of them but here he was. The papers were gonna have a field day with this one.

In a matter of moments they were greeted by thunderous cheers and Sylvi landed in the center of the arena

"IN A SPATULAR TURN OF EVENTS OUR YOUNGEST CHAMPION RETURNS TO THE STADIUM RIDING THE VERY DRAGON HE WAS UP AGAINST!" Ludo Bagman announced to the crowd who erupted again

"You humans are a very loud species." Sylvi said in what sounded to be an annoyed tone and Harry couldn't help but agree the crowd was deafening and he was surprised he could hear his thoughts

"Funny, a huge leap in attitude from the start of this task." Harry responded as he climbed of the dragon broomstick in hand

"No matter." The annoyed Horntail started "I gleamed from you that one of my eggs is a not real. Remove it from my nest so that we may discuss our future."

"Um right." The dragoon replied. Harry honestly had no idea what was going on but the dragon was letting him complete the task and he wasn't going to temp fate

In the nest of eggs there sat a golden egg all he had to do was get it and leave the arena for this debacle to end. But then a bloody dragon wanted to talk with him.

You know what? Screw it, Harry Potter has given up, this was his life and he was just going to accept it

Running over grabbing the egg and running back to the champion's tent he was ambushed by Madam Pomfrey

"Alright let's have a look at you, I hope you have a mediwitch on retainer when you graduate Mr. Potter." She said while running her wand over him

"Does everything feel alright? She continued

"A bit of a headache and sore but I feel fine Madam Pomfrey."

She looked him over. Besides some torn clothing and a dirty face he did indeed looked fine but she knew the boy and he was modest to a fault when it came to his injuries. She reached into her bag and pulled out a vile

"Alright then, this is a minor pain relieving potion take it and be grateful you're the least injured chaimpion." The matron said as she relinquished the vile and walked away

"Harry!" A voice shouted as he was blindsided by a curtain of bushy brown hair

Hermione was a god send this last month, even as others turned away she was one of his safe harbors in this storm. And he took a moment to appreciate her as she wrapped him in a hug and he rest the gesture.

"Hey Harry." A deeper voice sounded. He turned and saw a mop of red hair

"Ron I –" Harry started before a loud roar sounded

"Dragoon!" Sylvi's voices resounded and all heads turned to the tent entrance

"Wonder what's going on?" He asked as he detached himself from his female best friend and walked towards source of commotion

"I don't know. The other dragons didn't make this much of a fuss when they were subdued." Hermione stated as she went to follow him, Ron as following as they passed

"Well the others didn't escape their chains." The Weasley added

When Harry emerged he saw about 20 dragon handlers firing stunners and Harry could feel the annoyance rolling off the Horntail in waves.

"Someone get more wands over here!" A rugged red head shouted who Harry recognized to be Charley, Ron's older brother. The-Boy-Who-Lived ran towards the familiar face

"Charley what's going on?" He asked

"Stand back guys, the Horntail is more resilient than normal." The older Weasley shouted frantically

"She just wants to talk." Harry responded and the small group all turned to look at him

"What do you mean by that mate." Ron asked slowly Charley and Hermione looking to want the answer to the same question

"Sylvi brought me back to talk to me can't you hear her shouting?" Harry responded

"Harry." Charley started walking over to him Ron and Hermione sharing a look "I need you to explain to me what you mean."

"Sylvi that's the dragon's name, during the task she said she was testing me. Said I was a dragoon whatever that is. She caught from falling from my broom and brought me back to get the egg in talk." Harry explained while Sylvi was in background growing more frustrated

"A dragoon?" Charley responded bewildered

"Harry dragons can't speak, did you confund it some how?" Hermione asked. In all her time looking up dragons she never heard of anything like this

Harry was about to respond when a roar was heard

"Begone!"

Harry looked up and saw Sylvi take a breath and it wasn't a flaming one but that last one she threw at him, the one that felt like pure magic. Screaming rang out from the crowd, this was an event most school kids never heard of much less seen.

Charley turned to see the event eyes wide. A breath of pure magic, he had only heard of those but never seen one. Free dragons were known to have the ability but not the ones in reserves.

"Everyone form a shield!" He shouted running towards his co workers. Up in the stands Dumbledore stood doing complex wand movements

"Protego Maxima" the old wizard said and a dome formed around the arena

"Avis" he continued and a the air around the dome solidified to reinforce it

"Take cover!" Charley shouted at the three Gryffindor students. Ron and Hermione ran towards the barrier the dragon handlers have made but Harry rang towards the dragon

"Harry Rae you insane?!" Hermione shouted as she looked horrified at her friend, she turned to make after him but Ron held her back

"We don't need you both to die!" Ron yelled at her looking lost about the whole thing. He missed his friend and wanted to make up but this so situation was mental

While all this was happening Harry ran towards the Horntail in a panic

"Slyvi!" He called a burst of magic coming from him

The dragon turned her head and looked at her chosen and stopped her attack

"Dragoon, don't these humans know we serve one another. By the old ways an attack one is an attack on the other. Correct them or I shall not hold back." She stated

To the rest of the crowd they all were flabbergasted. Not only did HarryPotter just ride a dragon he also stooped it from annihilating the area by talking to it, even the dragon handlers have never seen anything like this

"A real life dragoon." Charley stated in awe

"I'm sorry, I didn't know what they were going to do." Harry said pleading with his new dragon…friend he supposed

"I told you we need to speak, I will not be kept waiting."

Harry turned to Charley as he walked in his direction

"Charley she was upset about being attacked. She just wants to talk."

The older red head looked tired and excited Ron and Hermione right behind him

"Tell her to land near the cages with the other dragons Harry. We'll get over there as soon as we can." He said

Harry turned to repeat but Sylvi beat him to it

" I heard what he said child. Don't keep me waiting long." She said and took off with a might flap of her wings. The dome around the arena life's when Dumbledore sensed the danger passed and making his way down

"Ok everyone the dragon is under control and is going back. I don't want anyone bothering it until I get there." Charley said to the rest of his co workers

Charley was ecstatic a real life dragoon hadn't been seen in two centuries and he was at ground zero, this was a dragon enthusiast dream.

Dumbledore passed the group of dragon handlers on the way to the small group

"Well then, seem like we had an exciting moment wouldn't you say Harry?" The old man asked a small smile on his face

"That would be understatement professor, kid's a dragoon." Charley answered like a kid at Christmas and Dumbledore's eyes widened in surprise

"I'm sorry a what?" Hermione questioned Ron looking equally as confused

"To put it simply Miss Granger, a wizard who magic has an affinity for dragons, but that is a discussion for later. Do you have anymore information Harry?." Dumbledore asked the green eyed teen

"Her name is Sylvi sir and she wants to talk to me about something." Harry replied while filling the group in on what transpired during the first task

"Well let's not keep Sylvi waiting. Miss Granger Mr. Weasley if you could go back to the dorms with the rest of the students Mr.Potter will join you in a while. Charley would you come with will we give the students a moment." The headmaster said with a soft smile, he then walked towards the other judges

"Don't be long Harry." Charley said following after him

"I can't even begin to describe the absurdity of this." Hermon started and all Harry could do was laughed, Ron on the other hand had a contemplative lookin his face

Harry turned to address him "Glad to see you mate." He said softly

"Yea, seems pretty crazy without me around."

"Then maybe you should stick like glee from now on, would love the peace and quiet." Harry responded with a smile which was returned. The two boys hugged, their brotherly bond not easily broken

"Now that you two are done acting like children, let Harry go so he can fill us in later." Hermione interjected beaming as her friend group was healing

"Save you a butterbeer?" Ron asked as their bushy haired friend trapped him by the arm

"Of course."

As the three friends separated Harry steeled himself and walked toward the headmasters and ministry officials

"I am getting tired of Hogwarts making a mockery of the tournament Dumbledore." Karkaroff stated his face very unpleasant "First two champions and now whatever the hell this is. A mere boy riding the very dragon he was supposed to face, someone must have bewitched it." He accused

"No foul play has happened Karkaroff, Mr Potter magic has merely interacted with the dragons. It's not a event likely to happen but it's not impossible. Mr Weasley is an expert of dragon lore and can enlighten us." Dumbledore replied in an attempt to calm his fellow headmaster

At this moment Harry joined the group and asked "Can someone please tell me what's going on?" At this point he was tired of being treated like a spectator in his own life yet again. First when his name came out that damned goblet and now this

All turned to face him

"Harry my boy we were just trying to figure out this bizarre situation Good show in the task by the way, earned second place right behind Mr Krum.." Bagman said excitedly patting the young man on the shoulder

"Not admitting how you cheated boy. Hogwarts clearly shows favoritism towards its celebrity student." The Drumstrang headmaster accused

"I didn't cheat." Was the quick reply

"Perhaps we should let the dragon handler speak." Madam Maxime interjected her voice laden with curiosity. While she too may have suspected foul play she was tactful enough to not scream it from the rooftops

Charley took this time to speak before Karkaroff went on another tangent "No cheating I'm afraid, young Harry here was to put simply chosen by the dragon. You see back when dragons roamed more freely they would chosen who they would share their magic with or have it stolen. Such people were called dragoons and they have been documented as both dragon riders and dragon slayers, depending on which version of the legends you come across. The last documented dragoon was around 200 years ago."

"And we are to believe this boy has earned such status."the French with asked

Charley continued "Well the fact that he rode the dragon back to the stadium and can apparently understand, Sylvi I believe you said Harry, is clear evidence. Legends state that dragoons can understand dragon language."

"Well misters Potter and Weasley get a handle on this situation, why don't you check on your champions. If what Mr Potter says is true than our draconic friend would like to discuss things in a timely fashion." Dumbledore said with twinkling eyes

Karkaroff scoffed and left. Madam Maxime nodded her head in agreement and also left wanting to check on Fleur and do some research on this new turn of events

"Well Harry I must get going this tournament doesn't run itself looking forward to what this new development will bring." Batman said as he retreated a greedy look in his eye. He was using the Compton to pay back some gambling debts and this information might earn him a big payday if he bet properly before this information hit the papers

Harry looked around and saw the last of the students clearing the stadium gossiping and talking about the task, hating the fact that he was once again topic number one on their lips

"Are you ready Harry?" Dumbledore's voice pulled him back to reality

"Not really sir but not like I ever have a choice." Was the dejected response

A hand was placed on his shoulder "I have seen you overcome similar trials Harry, this is but another." The old wizard's told him a warm smile on his face

"He's right Harry you're a strong kid." Charley agreed as the trio walked toward the forbidden forest

"So what can you tell me about dragoons Charley?." Harry asked. He figured he might was bee well prepared for this wall of Bullshit he was about to face

The red hair had a thoughtful look be for he started " Well like I said depending on which legend you follow dragoons are either dragon riders or slayers, their magical feats were always extraordinary. Many were known to be lance wielders traditionally. It was said they had otherworldly maneuverability in the sky with a broom being able to jump on the very air and reach highs equal to flying. Most don't know this I only came across this information in a forgotten tome about ancient dragons."

"Magic is a very mysterious subject to this day Harry." Dumbledore followed "the whys and hows of such tales are often times never discovered."

Harry took on a thoughtful look as the group walked in silence, he had expected that his definition on normal was eschewed but this sounded kinda ridiculous. At this point he wanted to go to bed and Perry to whatever that would listen that tomorrow would be less stupid and stressful

"Dragoon." A familiar roar brought him from his musings

Harry looking up and say Sylvi waiting by the forest's edge the other dragons in cages watching him carefully

"A dragoon?" The welsh green commented "You don't believe the old stories do you Sylvi?"

"His magic was respective to mine Nora." Sylvi replied in a huff "the ancestors passed down the rails for a reason."

"They passed down those tales as a warning, The dragon song war shouldn't be easily forgotten." The Chinese Fireball said disappointingly. That bit of info caught Harry's attention

"Dragon song war?" He asked and all the dragons turned towards him

The Fireball hissed "Yes human, a war were your kind tried to hunt us to extinction. I was hesitant to think Sylvi actually knighted a dragoon but you understanding is proof enough. Normally your kind would just steal our eyes to gain such power." It's eyes still irritated from that human from earlier

"Why would people steal your eyes?" Curiosity got the better of Harry

"It's were we keep the abundance of our magic." Sylvi responded

"Fool." The Fireball turned to the Horntail "our ancestors buried such knowledge for a reason."

"I have judged this human to be honorable in our short exchange Mei. He didn't try to harm me or steal our eggs until I goaded him to fight." Sylvi huffed tired of her fellow dragon questioning her

"His magic does feel gentle Mei." Nora said looking at Harry who thought better than to interpret arguing dragons he might be prone to life threatening situations but he didn't have a death wish

"That is to be seen." Mei responded also looking at Harry " your name human."

"Harry Potter"

"Let it be known that you try to slay our kind for power I will make sure we feast on you." Mei said with a tone of finality

"Sorry Harry, the old stories did always fill her with dread. Did Sylvi not share them with you already?" The green dragon spoke "I'm Nora by the way."

"I transferred some know to him but haven't had the chance to talk." Sylvi answered her

"You see Harry dragons are able to pass knowledge to one another through magic. It was how I was able to gain knowledge of that egg game you humans played earlier. Even though it's foolish to mess with a dragon's nest. During our connection I gave you some of my magic so the transfer could work and my magic would recognize yours as a dragon. Your magic was very responsive during this process, more so than what the ancestors taught." Sylvia addressed Harry

"Is that a good thing?" Harry asked worryingly as he sat, it had been a long day and his legs were killing him

"It depends your magic could become completely draconian like ours. You could be fine or go insane like the dragon slayers of old. If that later happens dragon kind would feel it and hunt you down." Sylvi responded a sinister grin on her face well sinister for a dragon

"I'm sorry what!" The new dragoon exclaimed draw attention from dumbledore and Charley

"Is everything alright Harry?" Charley asked the two making their way over Harry about to relay what he heard but Sylvi interrupted

"Remember young dragoon, this is sensitive information to dragon kind and we will you if you betray this trust. Humans may have forgotten the Dragonsong war but we have not."

Harry paused thinking about for a second he came to a realization, this was a lot to thing about and he should probably come to terms with it before he starts sharing information that can get him killed

"Everything is fine just was surprised by some information. Honestly I'm think I'm safe professor and will head back story if that's ok." Harry said

Dumbledore looked into Harry's eyes seeing if he could scan some surface thoughts with legilimens. He sensed he was anxious but not much else, truthfully his mind seemed beastly

"Are you sure Harry we don't mind helping however we can." He replied Charley nodding his agreement

"Yea I'm sure, they mostly just seem happy to have a human to talk to." Harry lied until he could wrap his head around this it seemed much safer

"Alright Harry just check in with Mr Weasley before you head back." The old wizard said

After another round of reassurance Dumbledore headed back to the castle and Charley to check the rest of his crew

"Okay can you please tell me how I could possibly go insane." Harried asked after a moment of silence

Nora was the one who answered "Well child the first dragoons were companions to dragons we shared magic and had settlements together. No one really remembers what started the conflict but the dragon song war happened regardless. Dragoons were split was they were special humans who shared magic with us. Some tries to broker peace and others tried to kill your kind and still our eyes to feather increase their power. One such human tried to obtain so much draconian magic that he went insane and started to warp into one. His name lost to time but what is not lost is that he became an abomination."

"And this can happen to me?" He was answered by Sylvi

Not necessarily, there are also tails of humans who controlled the draconian magic and become humans with the souls and magic of a dragon. Such being were considered holy warriors and one of our kind. Seeing how your magic was very respective in the moment I shared knowledge with you, your magic adapted to draconian magic very well. Unfortunately for this was a trait in both sections of dragoon evolution."

"And the reason you chose me?"

"There was a harmony in your magic that I sensed and I thought of the old stories, to be frank the

decision was on a whim." The Horntail said as if it was the simplest thing in the world

"WHAT!" Three voices sounded

"You mean to say you invoked the old ways on a whim!" Mei yelled

"That's reckless even for you." Nora continued

Harry on the other hand just had his head in his hands, not only was he in a tournament that he has no clue how he got into, but now he might turn into to a crazy dragon killer or become sun human because reasons. This was supposed to be a normal year where he could fade into the background but nope fate said fuck you and threw the kitchen sink at him. The headache was coming back he grunted in discomfort and a pulse of magic released

"Harry come see us again tomorrow. Your magic is still getting used to the change." Sylvi said she looked kinda worried that pulse of magic felt very draconian his magic was changing more than she thought it would

"Y-yea sure." The green eyed boy said standing up

He made his way towards the castle after talking to Charley saying he would be back after he got some rest. His thoughts jumbled from what he learned today and the insanity of it. Making his way into the castle he stumbled a bit, every inch of of body felt like it was on fire. The smart thing would be to go to the hospital wing but he avoided having to stay overnight and he wasn't willing to risk it. Besides he'd dealt with worse, his relatives and previous years had seen to that. This was nowhere near as bad as the basilisk venom.

Not wanting to go to the Gryffindor common room knowing his housemates had something extravagant planned, he wondered aimlessly for a bit strangely not running into anyone. He didn't know it yet but dragons could sense magic and being a dragoon he also gained the ability resulting in him instinctively avoiding another living being.

A dragoon, ancient warriors who bonded with dragons, his fourth year bingo card didn't have that one on it. And to make matters weirder his magic was receptive whatever that means. He needed more information that was for certain but going about it would be tricky. He'd never heard of a dragonsong war but if it was enough for dragon kind to erase traces of it it, it must be a heavy topic. He had a couple letters to write tomorrow, he would need to play this safe and he had to ask people who would beep this secret. Especially since the dragon says d they would hunt him down if they sensed something was wrong.

Arriving on the fourth floor he snapped out of his musing another noticed where he was. Preparing for the first task he watched the Marauder's map for a couple of days to find a secluded place to practice and get away from all the whispers, his sanctuary. There were only two people who knew about. Hermione who was in the common room and

"Well hello there Potter. Want to explain to me how the great wizarding hero was riding a dragon?"

Daphne Greengrass his only Slytherin friend. Opening the door he say a blonde with a striking figure sitting on a desk, hard hazel eyes bore into him, a scent we prominent. How a girl with such soft features could have a scowl that could freeze hell he would never know

"Daphne, glad you're here saves some random owl a trip." Responded The-boy -about -to-be-strangled

"Just going to gloss over the question?" If looks could kill Harry would be dead a hundred times over. To be fair he did promise a ton of people to have a normal year, sure he crossed that line when his name came out the goblet of fire but he could understand the frustration

"Of course not, you're one of the few people I feel like I can talk to about this." He leaned on the seat next to her

"What did you do?" She sighed

"Can you cast some privacy spells first, my wand arm isn't steady right now."

Raising an eyebrow she did as he asked and prepared to listen to whatever idiocy he got himself into know. The brief run down took about half an hour

"A dragoon?, I can tell you know Harry this is not common knowledge I would need to ask my father about it. This goes out of the scope of our deal you know that right?" Daphne said less angry than before, well visible atleast

"I'm too tired to argue this so fine I owe you a favor."

"Two, those spell books for the first task didn't come easy." Slytherins were cunning of course they didn't forget favors

"No friend discount?" Optimistic hope shined in green eyes. A melodious laugh and a pat on the check followed

"Oh Harry, that is the friend discount. I'm going to write my father before curfew, get some rest. Meet me here for lunch tomorrow?I have history of magic after lunch and I rather skip it, might want to call in one of those favors tomorrow." Standing up and straightening her school skirt she turned to look at him

"Sure, I wanna be seen as little as possible for a bit, who knows what the school is saying about me now." Hate or more fame, might as well flip a coin and go with that answer

"You know me, I'll keep my ear to the ground. Now I was serious, get some rest, I need my favorite lackey to be in top shape and out of trouble for a bit."

He rolled his eyes "thought this was a partnership."

"Afraid you thought wrong."the blonde smiled and walked out using a locking charm on the door to give him some privacy

Harry went to a counter of the room with pillows and a blanket. He spent many a night here when the taunting got back in this last month. Exhausted he went to sleep for a bit, deciding to deal with the Gryffindors when he woke up.
