ch.1
Hinata Hyuga stepped out of her car, the cool night air brushing against her face like a lover's whisper. She'd always been shy, preferring to keep to herself and blend into the background. But tonight was different; tonight, she was finally going to college. As she made her way towards the dormitory, a sense of anticipation and excitement buzzed through her veins like an electric current.
The dorm itself was a sprawling, two-story building with large windows that cast a warm glow onto the sidewalk below. As she ascended the stairs, Hinata could hear the muffled sounds of laughter and music drifting out from open doors, filling the air with a sense of camaraderie and belonging. She couldn't help but feel a pang of longing, wishing she could join in on the fun, but her nervousness kept her at bay.
Finally, she found her room: 214. The number seemed ominous, like a bad omen. But as she put her key in the lock and pushed the door open, revealing a cozy, dimly lit room filled with the scent of vanilla candles, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. It was going to be okay. Maybe college would be the fresh start she needed.
The bed was already made, the sheets a soft shade of blue that reminded her of the sky on a summer day. On the desk, there was a framed photo of her family: her parents, her older brother, Neji, and her little sister, Hanabi. She smiled wistfully, missing them already. But then, she heard a voice from behind her. "Hinata?"
She turned around to see a girl with long, wavy blonde hair standing in the doorway. Her blue eyes were framed by long, dark lashes, and she had a mischievous grin on her face. "I'm Naruko," she said, walking towards her. "I'm your roommate." Hinata couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and attraction toward this confident, outgoing girl. As they shook hands, she couldn't help but wonder what adventures awaited them both in the days to come.
"So Naruko, how long have you been at this college?" Hinata asked, trying to make conversation. She couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated by her new roommate's confidence.
"Oh, just a year or so. What about you, what is your plan for college?" Naruko asked, her voice soft and smooth. Hinata felt a shiver run down her spine at the way she said it, as if Naruko were whispering a secret into her ear.
Hinata cleared her throat, trying to calm the butterflies in her stomach. "Well, I'm still not really sure. I guess I just want to make the most of it. I mean, college is supposed to be about finding yourself, right?" She forced a laugh, hoping it sounded more confident than it felt.
Naruko laughed as well, a warm and genuine sound that Hinata found surprisingly comforting. "Oh, you're gonna love it here. I mean, just wait until you go to your first party. The atmosphere is electric; it's like walking into a whole new world." Her eyes sparkled with excitement, and Hinata couldn't help but feel a little envious of her confidence.
"Really?" she asked, tentatively. "I mean, I'm not really the party type, but I guess I could give it a try." Hinata blushed, feeling a bit self-conscious about her shyness. Naruko smiled reassuringly, walking over to her and placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry about it," Naruko said with a wink. "We'll find something you'll like. You'll see, college is a place where you can be whoever you want to be. You'll make friends, try new things, and have experiences that will stay with you for the rest of your life." Her words sent a shiver of anticipation down Hinata's spine. She couldn't help but feel grateful for having such an outgoing and supportive roommate.
As they continued to unpack and settle into their room, Hinata found herself opening up to Naruko more and more. She told her about her family, her hometown, and her dreams for the future. Naruko smiled as she said "My father Minato and mother Kushina are very supportive of me and my goals. What about you Hinata?"
Hinata blushed slightly, "Well, my parents are very loving and supportive too. But my brother Neji...he's always been...difficult. He's always had really high expectations for me, and sometimes I feel like I can't live up to them." She sighed, a weight settling in her chest. "I just hope I can make them proud while I'm here."
Naruko nodded understandingly. "I can relate to that. But now I just don't care what other people think. I'm here to make the most of my time, to find myself, and to have fun. You should too. You're at the best place to do that." She smiled reassuringly. "And who knows, maybe your brother Neji will come around eventually. People can change, you know?" Hinata smiles back, feeling a little bit better about her situation. "Come on, I will introduce my two friends Sakura and Ino. They will love you. Just trust me." Naruko took Hinata's hand and led her out of the room.
As they walked down the hall, Naruko pointed to a door on the left. "That's is Ino and Sakura's room." She knocked on the door and waited for a moment before pushing it open revealing both Ino and Sakura are making out only in their underwear. "Oh, hi!" Naruko said, not seeming to mind their intimate display. "This is Hinata, my new roommate. Hinata, this is Ino and Sakura."
Hinata blushed, quickly averting her eyes from the scene before her. "Hi," she squeaked out, feeling suddenly self-conscious. "It's nice to meet you both." Hinata said as she watched Ino and Sakura break their kiss, their cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
"Nice to meet you too," Ino said as both she and Sakura got up from the couch. "Naruko told us that she was getting a new roommate but she didn't say a sexy one." Sakura said as she walked up to Hinata. "So, what's your major?" She asked with a sly smile.
"I'm undecided right now," Hinata replied, trying to match Sakura's playful tone. "I'm interested in a lot of different things. Maybe I'll find something that catches my eye along the way." She smiled, feeling a little more at ease as she spoke with the two girls. Ino, who was now standing beside Sakura, nodded in agreement. "So Naruko do you and Hinata want to join us for some sexy fun in the bedroom?" Ino winked at her.
Naruko rolled her eyes playfully. "No, thank you , I am going to Hinata around the college right now. But maybe next time, Ino." She winked at Ino, who giggled in response. "So, how did you two meet?" Hinata asked, curious about their relationship.
"We've known each other since we were kids," Sakura explained. "Our parents were friends, and we just sort of clicked from the start. We've been inseparable ever since." She paused, looking at Ino with a fond expression. "We even dated the same guy once, but it didn't end well." They both laughed, shaking their heads.
Hinata smiled, enjoying their easy banter. "Well, it's nice to meet you both. I hope we can be friends too." She looked at Ino and Sakura, admiring their confidence and close bond. "I'm sure you two will be able to help me navigate college life."
Naruko then shows Hinata where all of her classes will be. Once finished Naruko decided to take Hinata to the cafeteria so she could get something to eat. As they walk down the hall thlest see what Sasuke thinks of my new friend." Naruko said as she walked up to Sasuke.
"Oh hey Naruko,ey saw a boy named Sasuke Uchiha. He noticed both Naruko and Hinata. "Well, look what the trash brings in. Sorry you're not welcome here bitch." Sasuke said he walked towards Naruko and Hinata. "Are you still upset that I break up with you." Naruko said as she crossed her arms. "Hell yea I am still upset. No one breaks up with me you dumb blonde. And who is this?" Sasuke said as he looked at Hinata.
"Oh this is my new roommate Hinata. She's cooler than you will ever be." Naruko said with a smile. "Oh yeah? Well I don't know about that. I'm sure she's just as stupid and annoying as you are." Sasuke replied. "Well you're wrong, Sasuke. Hinata's actually really nice and smart." Naruko defended.
