The relationship between Wolf and Grape had always been one-sided, with Grape being his personal punching bag. Those close to Grape like Forrest and Robin, were aware of how vicious Wolf was during the time both were in the same school.

But no one really understood why, sure Wolf was cruel to many people, but he seemed to have it out for Grape. Even Grape himself didn't know why, he could never remember any instance where he may have angered Wolf. Despite this, it seemed him simply existing was deserving of a beating.

He stood atop one of the buildings near Hyeongshin High, smoking a cigarette alone. Being a member of the Union kept him busy, but he still had days where things were slow. He didn't have any fees to collect and Donald was currently busy doing paperwork, giving him the day off.

He wasn't in the mood to drink or really interact with anyone else, which was why he had been on the roof for most of the day, simply smoking and thinking.

While staring at the street far below him, he saw a familiar purple haired student wearing Hyeongshin High's uniform, Sam. He always preferred to call him Sam as he knew how much he hated it.

Looking closer he noticed a couple of other students with him, both were large, much larger than their current victim. He watched as one of attackers locked his elbows around Sam's arms, making him defenseless as the other kept connecting his knuckles into his face, very quickly coating his face in blood.

Wolf wasn't surprised, being part of the Union he noticed that there were two types of people. One, those that were strong and able to back up their cockiness. While two, those that simply hung onto the coattails of the Union name, when in reality they were nothing more than insecure gloaters. The latter would sometimes get a taste of reality.

Sam was like those, sure he was the right-hand-man for Forrest, and he also was an okayish fighter, but it was clear he wasn't someone who was particularly strong. And like most cocky weaklings, some people didn't buy their act.

He figured Sam probably said the wrong thing to the wrong people, and now that Forrest wasn't with him, he was getting a beating, though it wasn't anything comparable to Wolf's handiwork on him.

"You better watch your fucking mouth next time. Little bitch," Wolf watched as one spat on the now unconscious Sam, as the duo walked away. He continued to eye them and saw them turn a corner, knowing their general direction, Wolf tossed the cigarette out of his mouth and went down to exit the building.

"Man these Union fuckers are getting on my nerves," "Exactly, they all act like their hot shit just for being a member. Good thing we taught that bitch a lesson. He won't be running his mouth anytime soon." Both chuckled as they continued walking, reminiscing about Sam's bloody face.

Not aware that they were giving Wolf a running start, soon enough, one of them was met with a strong knee slam to the back of his head, knocking him out unconscious immediately. Which was then followed by a flurry of punches to the mouth.

"Hey who the fuck are you! Get off him!" shouted his friend as he began kicking the assailant, he tried to act strong but as he saw his friend with less teeth than just a minute ago, he started to hesitate.

Unfortunately for him, the realization was too late as Wolf was already getting off his friend. Soon enough both were lying on the ground, with Wolf smoking as he used their backs as a seat.

As the adrenaline started leaving his system, he felt his heartbeat start to slow down, he watched the puffs of smoke circling around him and got annoyed as he realized he was on his last cigarette. Slowly getting back up he eyed the current state of the duo, feeling satisfied, he began toward a nearby convenience store.

Despite most people not knowing why Wolf felt the way he did towards Grape, one thing they could all agree on, was that their relationship was…complicated.
