AN: Sorry for not updating as much as I should. But here's a new chapter. Hopefully I still got readers for this story. Once again sorta following the show but not exactly since this is still AU and I'm just writing it my way.
Both Donna Tara was having lunch at Tara's on a Saturday afternoon. Opie and Jax along with the club ended up going to Nevada for club business for a few days, and since Ellie and Kennedy were away for the weekend visiting their grandparents, Donna parents and since Tara had the weekend off Tara thought having a girls weekend with Donna was a good idea. Plus it would give them a chance to catch up since it's been weeks nearly two months since Tara and Donna had a chance to hang out. With Tara working at the St.Thomas and of course spending lot of time with Jax lately.
" So... how are things going between you and Jax?" Donna asked with a smirk as she took a drink of her coffee after Tara set a coffee cup in front of her.
Tara shrugs her shoulders as she took a sip of her coffee before she sat down across from Donna at her kitchen table." Good I guess, I mean we just been hanging out that's all." Tara answered as she set her cup down.
" Just hanging out? That's all?"
" What exactly are you asking me?" Tara asked as she tilt her head and looks at Donna for a moment.
" Oh, I think you know what I'm asking." Donna responded with a smirk as she nods her head slowly.
Tara sighs exasperatedly as she rolls her eyes." No, we're not. Besides I'm not sure if I want to go there with him, especially after what between us eleven years ago. Not to mention him and Wendy are still technically married." Tara answered as she got up from the table and walked over to the sink and set her empty cup down.
Donna sighs as she shook her head." They're getting a divorce remember? What are you afraid of? I mean what's holding you back?"
" Nothing is holding me back, and I'm not afraid of anything. I'm just not sure how Jax exactly feel about us." For the past couple of months since Tara and Jax have started talking again, they been spending lot of time together. Tara even spent a few nights with him at the club house. But they never really done anything except for sleeping in each other's arms which Tara enjoyed the most because she actually felt safe and she slept so much better with Jax next to her.
Donna shrugs her shoulders." Alright, whatever you say. But trust me on this Tara, you two are meant to be together and... since Jax and Wendy are getting a divorce, half of the women at the club house are probably lining up to get close to him." Donna stating the facts.
Tara snorts shaking her head." Divorce or not every women in this town are always lining up to get close to Jackson Teller, it's been like that since we've dated back in high school. So, what makes you think it's different this time?"
" Because your back Tara and for good this time. Besides I've seen the way that man looks at you, and it's clear to me that he's still in love with you and your defintently in love with him. Even though you two are totally denying it."
Tara shook her head." Whatever you say Winston, but I'm not denying anything. Now come on I wanna get to the supermarket and do some food shopping." She said with small smile as she grabbed her car keys along with her purse and headed out the front door with Donna following behind.
As both women continue to talk to each other as they approach the cutless. The moment Tara was about to unlock the car doors she suddenly stopped when she noticed flower petals on her window shield and not just any flower petals. Purple flower petals. Tara exhales deeply as she turned around and walked straight back into the house.
" Tara, what the hell is going on? Why are there flower petals all over your window shield?" Donna asked with concern as she watched Tara pull a box from the closet. As she stepped closer and noticed a gun in Tara's hand. Donna looks at Tara for a moment." Tara?"
Josh stayed in his car parked a couple blocks behind as he watched Tara and her little friend going back to Tara's house. Josh has been in Charming for a few weeks now and he desperately wants out of this cesspool town and take Tara back with him. But the only thing that's getting in his way and stopping him from getting close to her is that damn Jackson Teller, and his damn club.
A few months ago when Josh was served with the restraining order it hurt him because he never thought Tara would actually go that far to just get away from him. But now what's hurting him even more than ever is that Tara is getting closed to Jax Teller again, and he can't do anything about it. Well for now he can't. But he's hoping with a few photos it would convince Tara that Jax Teller is not the right man for her.
Starting his car again, Josh slowly pulled away from the curb and headed back towards the police station. He needs to make sure his cover isn't blown and also see if Hale can give him more information about the sons. Anything he can use to get Tara back would be useful. One way or the other Josh will get Tara back and nobody is going to stop him. Not even Jax Teller or his club.
AN: Kinda a short chapter. But don't worry though this was just a little taste of what's coming next. Gonna try to update this story every week or at least every Wednesday night. Enjoy this chapter and as always leave some reviews xD. I do love reading them. They really do inspire me to write and update faster.
