When Batwoman and Huntress arrived at the old Quiz Bowl studio, it was clear this was a trap.

"So, what do you think we should expect?" Batwoman asked her partner.

"No clue. But remember, our priority is to rescue Stephanie Brown. After that, then we take Cluemaster down." Huntress said.

"Agreed." Batwoman said as they headed into the studio.

"Batwoman to batcave, what do you have for us?" Batwoman asked.

"Working on it. I hacked into the building's surveillance cameras, but no sign of anyone yet." Luke said.

"Keep looking. We'll do the same." Batwoman said as they continued to search, right as a tv monitor flickered on.

"Welcome to the bonus round. Time to play for all the points." Cluemaster said with his ridiculous grin on his face.

"Batcave, are you tracing this?" Batwoman asked, only to get a load of static in her ear.

"Batcave, do you copy?" Batwoman asked.

"Sorry, but no cheating. You can't ask your friend for help this time. Also, I'm gonna need you both to surrender your belts and Huntress, hand over your crossbow. No toys allowed in this game." Cluemaster said with a grin.

"And why would we do that?" Huntress asked.

"It's simple really. Hand over your toys or my dear daughter here will get quite a shock." Cluemaster said as he turned the camera to reveal Stephanie wearing what appeared to be some kind of electroshock headpiece.

"Do you recognize this device? You should, since it's the same device used on every inmate you and your predecessor put in Arkham. This is the very tool the Joker used to create his little girlfriend actually. I thought you'd like that little twist." Cluemaster said.

"You'd really use that thing on your own daughter?" Huntress asked in disgust.

"I'm curious about what it would do to her pretty little head. Who knows, a high enough voltage might help her see the world the way I do." Cluemaster said.

"Fine." Batwoman said as she and Huntress both removed their belts and Huntress also surrendered her crossbow, placing them in a storage bin Cluemaster had clearly left in advance, though neither of them mentioning how the nanites in their suits could easily call their gear back to them as soon as they needed them, since Cluemaster didn't need to know that part.

"Good. It's nice to know you two can play by the rules after all. I learned my lesson about not making them clear after that last round. You play by my rules or my daughter pays the price." Cluemaster said.

"Okay, we're playing your game by your rules, so why don't you tell us what the hell the game is?" Huntress asked.

"Well, I thought it would be obvious. You're at Quiz Bowl, so you're going to play it. Answer enough questions right and you not only move further towards your goal, but you add more time to this clock." Cluemaster said as a timer appeared with 20 minutes on the clock.

"And while I'm pretty sure I don't want to know the answer to this, what happens when that clock hits zero?" Huntress asked.

"Well, then we play a different game and it's called wheel of punishment." Cluemaster said as he displayed a very large wheel with different symbols on it.

"Each symbol represents a different way my daughter can die. If this clock hits zero, then we get to see how I'll be putting Stephanie out of her misery." Cluemaster said.

"You'd really kill your own daughter?" Batwoman asked, this striking a particular strong cord with her considering what had happened to her mom and sister.

"I do what is necessary to get my point across. Besides, if you heroes are as good as you think you are, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about." Cluemaster said and both vigilantes just rolled their eyes.

"Okay, then let's get started." Huntress said.

"Glad to hear it. Step through that door to start the game." Cluemaster said with a grin, though none of them noticed in the background that Stephanie was clearly working on her own escape, since she'd always known that one day her father would escape prison and she'd spent the past five years preparing herself for that. Including learning how to escape her restraints. She just had to make sure her lunatic father didn't notice.
