Story Time
Shane walked in the apartment complex where Connor was waiting. The former red ranger knew this wasn't his teacher's apartment, but it did belong to a fellow immortal, someone who was in the same clan he was in.
He looked to see a man donning a ponytail, this man was surely immortal as he could sense it. Then he saw a younger man with blonde hair, also immortal. Then, Shane saw a young lady with a pixie cut, she was also immortal, and finally, a younger lady with a pixie cut with a pink streak, immortal, and wasn't she a Power Ranger?
"Hold on here," the younger lady stood up, "Shane is immortal too? He's part of the Ninja Storm Power Rangers."
"I honestly should say the same for you," Shane replied, "Vida of the Mystic Force Power Rangers."
"So, you guys teamed up in the past?" the blonde guy asked.
"No," Vida shook her head, "I didn't, but Xander teamed up with his blue ranger Tori along with some other rangers and the Operation Overdrive team awhile back."
"Tori was a part of my team," Shane interjected, "as you can see, that's why I am here right now."
Connor cleared his throat before speaking up, glancing towards the man with the ponytail, followed by the lady, and then the blonde guy, "Shane, this is Duncan MacLeod, Amanda Darieux, and Richie Ryan."
Each of them greeted the former red ranger.
"And from the looks of it," Amanda stated, "I assume you know each other."
"We never met formally," Vida replied, "until now."
"She's right," Shane nodded in agreement, "however, we are aware of other Power Rangers out there. Mystic Force, Ninja Storm, Jungle Fury, etc."
"Just how many Power Rangers are there?" Richie asked.
"I believe there are 16 different teams of Power Rangers," Shane answered, "So Connor, you brought me here to talk about..."
"I think it might be a good idea," Vida glanced at the visitors, "you guys are interested in knowing about our history as Power Rangers prior to our first deaths. That sounds like a good idea. Richie, Amanda, and Duncan would be interested to know as I assume you would."
"Then it's settled," Shane quipped.
"Boy you're going to be in for a ride," Vida told the other immortals, mainly looking at Richie.

Richie looked on as Shane and Vida were telling about their times as the Ninja Storm Red Ranger and the Mystic Force Pink Ranger respectively. Shane and Vida told the basics about who they were as Power Rangers in their respective teams.
"It's quite interesting," Duncan noted after the group explained about their times as Power Rangers.
"The Mystic Force mentor Udonna passed away shortly before the arrival of the new threat," Vida continued with the story, "Nick and Leanbow said it was from an aneurysm of some sort after fainting suddenly. It was sad."
"The Ninja Storm mentor died as well recently," Shane continued as well, "our mentor Sensei Kanoi Watanabe died during the early times when the Radical Ninjas were attacking, he died peacefully, but it was still sad."
"I'm sorry about your loss," Vida consoled him.
"Me too with your loss," Shane nodded.
"As we all are," Duncan added.
"I had my own share of adventures during my time as a ranger," Shane spoke up further, "for example, I had some family issues during that time, and I was experiencing a bizarre hallucination after a monster attacked us and I had to endure my own father speaking about his doubts towards me, but I'd later know that he was proud of me."
"That is intense," Richie stated.
"Yeah," Shane nodded in agreement, "but Sensei once told us there's nothing to fear but fear itself."
"There was a time I was turned into a vampire under control by Necrolai, who is the current threat to the Mystic Force Rangers," Vida spoke up.
"Vampire?!" Duncan, Richie and Amanda all exclaimed in unison.
"After the initial vampire plan she set up which I was a victim of," Vida explained, "Necrolai still had me under her control, still a vampire until Chip was able to free me from her control and the other rangers defeated her. It's a heck of an experience."
"Shaw has encountered vampires in Sunnydale," Connor pointed out, "along with Buffy Summers, Faith Pryce, and the rest of the Slayerettes in Sunnydale, so vampires are not just a myth."
"Hopefully we don't have to come across that soon," Richie couldn't help but to mutter, "at least not in the near future."
"Don't get your hopes up," Shane told him, "anything can happen in this crazy world of ours."

Felicia looked up at the night sky as she found herself in a familiar city. It had been years since she last stepped foot in this town.
The last time Felicia Martins was in Seacouver, she pretended to be a new immortal, met Duncan MacLeod and Richie Ryan, with the latter falling in love with her. The reality was she became immortal in the 19th Century born as Felice Marten. She attempted to use Duncan MacLeod to make herself stronger and take his head, and she was given a prized katana forged by the legendary Masaume, which she trained with a reluctant Duncan, and then she used to behead her old lover Claude Devereux.
One thing led to another for this musician, model and forger, and it led to her challenging Duncan to battle, using Richie as bait. Richie thought he was going to run away with her, when in reality, she was challenging Duncan to a battle, which he defeated her, but he didn't take her head for Richie's sake, and the warning and her vow stuck with her to this day.
"The sword I gave you was a noble weapon," Duncan told her, "I told you to make it part of yourselfm but you cannot do that when you do not know who you are. It would have served you well against any other sword but this one."
He lifted his sword, preparing to take her head. Richie ran in front of him to stop him, "No, no, no, Mac please."
"Do it," Felicia insisted.
"Cross my path again and I will," Duncan warned her.
"We'll see each other again," Felicia assured him before falling unconscious.
"Duncan MacLeod, the Highlander," Felicia declared, "and Richie Ryan, prepare yourselves, Felicia Martins is back in town!"
Author's Note: Surprise! If you remember the season 1 episode "Free Fall", then you'll know this is Felicia from that same episode! I was working on some ideas for Vida's first Quickening, and after some consideration, well, you'll find out once you read how it turns out.
The dialogue at the end of this chapter was from "Free Fall", written by Phillip John Taylor.
Brace yourselves, things are going to get intense!
