Chapter 12

Liv heard the whispering of voices through the monitor, but she was too tired to even lift her head, never mind her body. When she heard Fitz talking to Soriyah, she was confident he would get her down for the night.

Before she closed her eyes to fall back into her sleep, she heard her Boo's voice in a small whisper. "Mommy, are you sleeping?"

Liv's eyes opened, and she tried to look as awake as possible. "No, Boo, I'm up, what's going on?"

"I'm so excited about our vacation tomorrow. Are we really going to the beach and to the boardwalk?" Brielle was very excited for their first family vacation.

Wrapping her hand around her daughter's waist, but still not lifting anything off the bed, she pulled Brielle to her. "We sure are, and you know what? We even have our own pool. We showed you the house remember?" Brielle sat next to Liv now and put her head on her mom's chest.

Liv was caressing Brielle's hair and she continued. "I am still surprised we decided to buy the house, but we did, now it's our summer home, or our home when we want a break from this one."

Brielle yawned. She nodded her head. "I'm so excited and daddy said he will show me how to surf. You know I will help Soriyah too. She's talking more now."

"She is," Liv said, yawning with her young daughter. "You are a great teacher; she is learning so much from you."

"Soriyah is saying my name clear too." Brielle closed her eyes, comfortable on her mom's chest, and she began to breathe in rhythm with the sleep that overtook her.

"Yeah, I hear it. She says Bee El now." And with Liv's hand still caressing Brielle's hair, Liv closed her eyes and began to breathe in sync with her young daughter.

The vacation Brielle was so excited about was to begin tomorrow. Last month, out of nowhere, Liv and Fitz decided to take a three hour drive to Virginia Beach while the girls were with Abby and Quinn.

There they found an adorable four bedroom home one block from the beach. Liv fell completely in love with it. It had been vacant for about three months, but it was very well maintained by the previous owner. Fitz didn't hesitate and he made an offer on the spot.

On the way back home, Liv put her face in her hands shaking her head. "I can't believe we just did that Fitz."

Fitz took one of her hands from her face, driving now with one hand. "Well, we did, and I am happy we did. I always loved the beach and now we have it whenever we want. Plus, with our growing family, it's a great vacation get away, whether it's summer or whatever." He rubbed his thumb over her hand and gave it a kiss before letting it go.

"You know." Liv tapped her cheek in thought. "It would be a good party house for the girls when they're teenagers and…." She stopped and watched Fitz side eye her.

"What?", she shrugged. "A nice party house too for Abby and Quinn on a weekend with tons of tequila and good looking guys."

Stopping at a red light now, Fitz took a deep breath, his jaw clenched, and Liv had to laugh.

"Well, not for me, for Abby. She needs to find a guy in her life, or she's going to move in with us you know." Liv laughed again. "Besides all my tequila drinking days are done. Meeting the man of my dreams while drinking it, I could never get drunk on it again."

Fitz smirked. "No parties in the house, it's strictly for family, family vacations." Not finding Liv humorous at all. "And no teenage parties, ever."

"Yeah, you're right. Just think when Brielle is a teenager, she can just walk on the beach with the boy she is dating. It could be so romantic for her, and Soriyah for that matter."

"You know Mrs. Grant; you aren't scoring many points with me tonight." He licked his lips.

Pulling into their driveway now, Liv leaned into him. She gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm just joking Mr. Grumpy. I love you and I would never let our daughters date before they are married." She smiled.

"That's more like it." Fitz rubbed her shoulder and brought her in for a kiss. "I'm so happy we did this, now let's go get the dates I can take off and get that much needed vacation."

"Brielle is going to be so excited about this, honestly."

"Hey," Fitz stopped before going in. "We can tell them about the baby on the beach. Can we do that Liv?"

"So long as I don't begin showing too much. The bump is getting there. May take a bit of hiding from Brielle."

"We'll know the gender by then also." Fitz opened the door ready to deal with Quinn and Abby.

Having put Soriyah down for the night, Fitz looked at all the luggage packed. They were only bringing a few snacks and drinks for the car ride and would do grocery shopping when they arrived.

Most of the bags were clothes, and with a wife and two daughters, most of the bags were theirs. Before turning out the lights, Fitz shook his head. "How can three people have so many clothes?" he asked himself out loud.

Peering into Brielle's room, he was surprised to see the bed empty. He crossed his brows in confusion and looked in his bedroom taking a deep breath of admiration. Liv's arm was wrapped around Brielle's back and they were sleeping so peacefully with Brielle's cheek on her mommy's chest.

Liv's head was tilted on her daughter's and Fitz just watched as they breathed together in sync. He didn't want to disturb them, but with the pregnancy, he didn't want Brielle accidentally putting all her weight onto her mother.

He began rubbing Liv's hand, and saw her head move as her eyes opened. She rubbed Brielle's back and saw Fitz standing there. "I'm going to take her to her room." Liv nodded at Fitz's words and got her body to a comfortable position as Brielle left the bed.

Fitz held his daughter close as her head rested on his shoulder, she stirred a bit when Fitz put her down and he saw her brown eyes staring at him. "Good night daddy. I can't wait to spend a whole week with you." She smiled as she fell right back to sleep holding her Tiger close.

He realized as he watched her fall back asleep, he hadn't ever spent more than three days with his girls, and now they would finally have a vacation. He didn't know who was looking more forward to it, him or Brielle.

Liv was sitting up when he returned to the bedroom. "Hey Livvie, I didn't mean to wake you up." He kissed her forehead as he got into the bed.

"No, it's fine, honestly, Fitz. I was asleep for an hour before Brielle came in, so I am a bit energized now." She cupped his cheek and kissed him.

He rested his head on her shoulder. Kissing her neck, gently, he asked in a low whisper. "How's my Livvie?" He took his hand and rubbed her growing baby bump. "And how is our boy doing?" Fitz smiled.

"He's doing great. I am so surprised Brielle hasn't noticed my stomach, look how round it is." Liv chuckled. "I still can't believe we are getting a little boy."

"You're covering it up well wearing my shirts around the house. I can't wait to tell her tomorrow."

"You came up with a good plan, I can't wait to see her face when you tell her." Liv kissed the top of his head.

"Did you remember to pack the…"

Liv put her finger to his lips. "Yes, Mister I did remember to pack that and everything else."

"I noticed." His nose now nestled into her neck as his fingers made their way to the top of her panties. "I love you so much Olivia." Her lips turned to his as her bottom arched, inviting his fingers down to her fold.

"Mmm", she moaned. "You're going to disturb your son in there. He's going to be kicking all night."

Fitz's fingers began their circular motion on her clit, and he watched as her eyes closed. "I'll apologize to him first thing in January." His lips now went down to her neck, as her hand went over his, feeling his movements.

Liv felt his warm kiss on her inner thigh, and she used her hand to grasp the pillow. This pregnancy had her hormones in overdrive, and she just wanted him so bad right now. She was anticipating him to do this hoping it would ease her need.

She took a deep breath. "Are you sure Brielle is sleeping?"

"Mere seconds." He said through kissing her thigh, "to go back out." He stopped momentarily, closed their bedroom door and put the volume up on both monitors.

Liv had no idea he even stopped, as he continued to not only kiss her thigh, but used his soft tongue to lick just above her fold. When her hips rose in anticipation, he brought his tongue from down to up between her fold and heard her moan through her deep breaths.

Feeling her foot creep along his back, he gripped her firmly now, and continued to taste her, moaning with her when she thrusted forward, signaling him to go deeper.

Arching her head back, messing his hair, she groaned, "Fitz, I'm coming baby." Her hand interlocked with his as she felt him continuing to use that superpower of a tongue. She felt him pull his pants down, and she let his hand go to grip his huge erection.

Turning and kneeling now, she guided him towards her entrance, still not nearly calmed from her orgasm. "You sure you want it like this Livvie?"

"It's more comfortable, trust me." She pleaded.

He didn't need another invite, and in seconds he was rubbing her stomach, that beautiful pregnant stomach with one hand, and going in and out of her using her hip as leverage.

His dick felt all her juices, his eyes saw her hands grip the pillow, and he put his finger in her mouth to stifle the moan she was going to let out momentarily. With one more thrust her walls closed around him, and her head went back as she breathed heavily, waiting for his release which was not too far behind.

She rested now with her head on his chest as he rubbed her hair gently. Kissing the top of her head tenderly, he told her how much he was looking forward to the vacation.

"I am too Fitz. A whole week of you to ourselves, no emergency meetings, no rushing off to the pentagon, just us." She kissed his cheek. "And our beautiful daughters."

Liv rolled to her back. She placed his hand on her belly where Fitz felt the slightest of movement from his son in the womb.

"I think you woke him Mister." Liv watched as Fitz's smile grew wide. He continued to rub around her shaping belly and felt him move in there for a few minutes.

He looked up, seeing his wife fall asleep and he kissed the round belly. He filled up with tears looking at the family picture on the nightstand and what was to come with their family. Fitz rested his head on Liv's shoulder where he finally fell asleep looking forward to their much needed vacation.

"Mommy, did you pack all my bathing suits, like every one of them?" Brielle was asking as she was reading what looked like a magazine.

Liv stopped plating Soriyah's breakfast and looked up in thought. "Hmm, the Tiana one, the Mermaid one, the two piece Belle one, which I don't think daddy will approve of, the unicorn one and the Barbie one. I think we have enough."

Brielle giggled. "Daddy isn't going to like the Belle one? Maybe I won't wear that one when we go surfing."

"Smart little girl."

"Why is my girl so smart?" Fitz walked into the kitchen wearing just his pajama pants and Liv took a deep breath. After all these years, his body still took her breath away.

"Oh, she just knows her father so well." Liv placed the plate down in front of Soriyah who looked at the food then at Fitz.

"Da eee" Soriyah said. She had a spoon in her left hand but used her right hand to dig right into the yogurt.

As she put the yogurt in her mouth, she reached the spoon out to Fitz, even though it had nothing on it. Fitz pretended to take food off the spoon. "MMM, thank you Soriyah, but maybe you can use the spoon in the yogurt?" He laughed.

Soriyah put the spoon down and grabbed one of the small triangle waffles. She was not sharing this with anyone, and she focused on eating now.

"What are you reading my brown eyed girl?" Fitz looked at Brielle.

She hopped into his lap. "Look daddy, this is where we are going for vacation. This is the boardwalk and here are the rides." She pointed to two different areas. "This is so fun."

Fitz watched as she pointed, and he pointed to the beach. "And here is where we are going right when we get there, so make sure you're ready to swim. I am going to help your mom get the cooler ready for the beach and make sure we have all your sand toys."

Brielle jumped down off his lap in excitement. "Mom, will you come on some rides with me too?" Her brown eyes wide waiting for an answer as she cleaned up her breakfast plates.

"Umm." She looked at Fitz.

"Well, Brielle." Fitz began. "I can handle the rides while mom handles Soriyah and maybe you can go on some kiddie rides with Soriyah."

Brielle shrugged. "Ok." She went to Soriyah in her chair. "You want to go on rides?"

Soriyah smiled when she saw her sister. "Bee el." She picked up a strawberry piece to share with her sister to take from her yogurt covered hand. "eat" she said clearly. Brielle took the strawberry with her hand. "Thank you Soriyah, you're a great little sister."

"Bye" Soriyah waved as she watched Brielle leave to get dressed. Fitz walked over to Liv and plated a waffle, giving some to her and eating some himself as they got everything ready for their trip.

"So, while we are on the beach, I'm going to play a little game with Brielle, and we'll tell her there. It's good she knows right at the beginning of vacation."

"Ok, what kind of game?"

"We are going to write in the sand. It will be fun, then you can finally show off that gorgeous belly to her. Last night was…just so…newlywed." Fitz laughed.

"Ma mee" Soriyah called out. Liv looked over to her youngest daughter sipping water from her sippy cup. She was a yogurt mess with 75 percent of her food gone.

"You are a mess Muffin, let's get you washed up. Fitz you can get the cooler ready?"

"Snacks and drinks will be ready." Fitz began cleaning up while Liv took Soriyah.

The trip was long in the car with a few rest stops along the way. Making very good time, they parked in the driveway of their vacation home and walked over to the beach.

With the sun shining in the cloudless sky, they found the perfect spot. Brielle let Liv coat her with sun screen. "I don't know why I'm bothering, she tans so well." Fitz nodded in agreement.

Her skin was definitely her mother's skin, so smooth and clear. With all the time spent in the pool at home, Brielle had began to darken up, and her hair was a bit lighter. She looked so much like her father with the light hair. After she was sunscreen up, Liv pulled her close and gave her kiss.

"Go enjoy your time with your daddy." Fitz finished his application of sunblock and walked hand in hand with Brielle to the edge of the water.

Soriyah was mesmerized by the sand, picking some up, clapping her hands together, and looking at Liv smiling with all her little teeth. "Yuck?" Soriyah said as the put some by her mouth.

"Yes, that's yuck. No." Liv shook her head and shook her finger. "No eating."

Liv walked now with Soriyah on the sand towards Fitz and Brielle. Fitz scooped Soriyah up and pointed to the water. "Waves." Fitz said. "You see the waves?"

Soriyah began waving to the ocean, thinking her daddy was telling her to do so. Liv and Fitz had to laugh and Fitz planted a kiss on Soriyah's cheek. "Hey Brielle, let's play a game. And at the end of the game there will be a surprise."

"Ok." Brielle stood up from letting the waves come in slightly on her legs. "What kind of game and what's the surprise?"

"Well, they'll be a surprise message and it's going to make you a different person."

"Like a princess or a super hero?" Brielle looked confused.

"Something like that." Liv said as she took Soriyah to dip her feet in the ocean.

Fitz used his finger on the wet sand. "You have to write a word, and then follow it with another word to make a sentence. You can't make the next word until the wave takes away the old word. All the words will form a sentence. Do you understand?"

Brielle nodded her head. She began with the word MY

Then followed with SISTER.

Then IS

Then ONE

Fitz read it out loud. "My sister is one."

"Good work, Daddy." Brielle said.

"Your turn." She looked over at Liv. "Mommy do you want to write something?"

"No Boo, I'll hold on to Soriyah and listen to you read."

"BO" Soriyah said pointing to the water. Far beyond the shore there was a sailboat floating in the water.

"That's right Muffin, it's a boat." Liv looked at Soriyah who had a huge handful of wet sand in her hand.

"Yuck." Soriyah said it again and tossed it down.

BRIELLE Fitz wrote.

AND

SORIYAH

WILL

HAVE

A

BROTHER

SOON

Brielle thought for a moment. She looked over at Liv then back at Fitz. You can tell from her little dark eyes that she was focusing, thinking. "Brielle and Soriyah will have a brother soon." She said it out loud three times, then her mouth went open in shock.

She jumped into Fitz's arms. "Mommy is having another baby! That's why she can't go on rides with me? And I'll have a little brother, that's why I'll be different."

"That's right, Boo." Liv said as she removed her cover all and exposed her pregnant belly in the swimsuit.

Brielle jumped down from Fitz's arms and put her hands on the stomach. "He's a boy?"

"He's a boy." Fitz smiled watching his daughter.

Brielle kissed Liv's belly. "You have the best two sisters waiting for you."

"He sure does." Liv rubbed Brielle's hair.

"When is his birthday?" Brielle asked.

"Maybe January 3rd." Liv put Soriyah down now as Fitz grabbed his little one's hand.

Brielle knelt in the sand next to her sister. "Soriyah, you're going to be a big sister." She kissed her cheek.

"Big" Soriyah said smiling.

For the next few hours, the parents took turns in the water with the kids. When Soriyah finally tired out after eating her lunch, Fitz pulled out the surf boards and began practicing for a short time with Brielle.

He showed her how to use her hands to paddle and let her get used to getting wet with the waves. Liv watched, seeing him so happy and carefree in the water. She looked down at her round belly. "You have the best father, you know, not only the best sisters." Liv began packing up before Soriyah got up and used her toys again.

The time on the beach for the day was coming to an end, and they needed to get washed up, have dinner and set up the vacation home. Rides and boardwalk would come another day, as the Grant family walked back to their vacation home.

All along the way, Brielle was taking big steps. With each step she was saying "Best news ever, I'm getting a brother."

They ate dinner that night at a seafood buffet restaurant. Fitz was in his glory with all the food you could eat without having any clean up to go with it.

Soriyah was having fun picking up small pieces of food of whatever her mother had for her. All the while she held the fork in her other hand, not using it at all. "You know, Muffin, it does help to pick up the food." Liv showed her, and when the food went by Soriyah's mouth on the fork, she handed the fork to Liv, inviting her to eat.

Fitz and Brielle returned from the ice cream station with a bowl mountain of ice cream topped with chocolate syrup, cherries, and sprinkles. "This is for us to share," Brielle held up two spoons, and Liv could just see in her daughter's eyes how happy she was to have her father with her.

As they settled down for the night, Liv made it a point to wake up early with Fitz to shop for breakfast and lunch items. Dinner, for the week would be out, it's the least they could do for themselves on vacation.

Liv had a bit of difficulty putting Soriyah down for the night, guessing it was the change of scenery where she was sleeping. After some story telling in a soothing voice and some lullaby music, the day's events caught up to the little one and she finally fell asleep.

Liv stayed in the room for fifteen minutes, just to make sure Soriyah had indeed fell asleep with her Tigertwo, and she went to Brielle's room to see if Fitz had any luck getting Brielle down.

"Then what daddy?' Liv heard Brielle ask her father.

"Well." Fitz swallowed, thinking, "your grandpa Gerry stood on the surfboard, and I was determined to do the same thing."

"Were the beaches nice in California?" Brielle looked at him from her pillow.

"I think beaches are nice everywhere, but in California I think they are bit more special to me because I was always there."

"I want to surf just like you daddy." Brielle yawned, turning towards her Tiger.

"You will, by the end of the week, you'll be standing on a surfboard." Fitz gave her a small kiss on her cheek and covered her up. He turned to see Liv standing in the doorway.

"And, you." He said wrapping her up in his arms. "Let's go check out our bedroom."

Liv giggled as they climbed the stairs to their vacation home bedroom.

As they were lying in each other's arms, they were reminiscing about the day. "You, Mister, still give me the chills when I see you with no shirt on, and when you're wet. Whoa, Chile." Liv kissed him smiling.

"Oh yeah? Do keep telling me more." He kissed her forehead, "because when you showed that belly on the beach, you looked so beautiful, sexy too."

Liv's hand went down to the top of Fitz's boxers. "Let's see if I can thank you for last night, and thank you for making the decision to buy this place." Her hand gripped what was now a full erection.

Fitz was rubbing her smooth back, as he felt her warm lips overtake his length in her mouth. Her head slowly began to bob up and down, and Fitz put his hand on the base of her neck. "What you do to me Livvie." His head arched back, and she loved how weak she made her husband.

She stopped, stroked him a bit. "I love seeing you in dad mode. It's so damn sexy." She went back down, up and down, slowly, hearing him moan, and getting wet herself in her core.

"Baby, I'm going to come, you need to pull back." Fitz took a grunting breath.

Liv went deeper taking him all in, then rested her head on his stomach, facing him. "How was that Mister?"

He pulled her up to him as he kissed her neck. "Don't think I won't be hard in a few more seconds." He warned.

"Looking forward to it. My hormones are in overdrive."

"I've noticed. This is going to be a fun week, Mrs. Grant."

Her hand reached down, just to make sure Fitz wasn't slacking on the hardening end, and he didn't disappoint. She put her leg around him and guided his wet erection to her opening. She sank down slowly, placing both her hands on his chest and she glided slowly on him.

"Ahh." She whispered low, "this feels so good." Her eyes were closed, and she felt his hands grasp her hips, pushing her along.

Fitz sat up now, wrapping his arms around her, as Liv continued to ride. His mouth had to be on hers for some reason, and he pulled her into a tongue dancing kiss, as she moaned heavily in his mouth. She pulled away from the kiss, dropping her forehead on his shoulder.

"Oh, I am com…" she couldn't finish as she held him tight feeling her body numb as he held her. Pushing her deeper, he gave a few more thrusts until his climax hit.

While just about going to sleep, Fitz whispered. "Why does sex suddenly feel like when we first met? You are so good Livvie."

"Mm, you're not so bad yourself. Guess it's just being in love."

"And that I will always be with you." Fitz assured her.

"I can't wait to see you on the rides tomorrow. Brielle is going to have so much fun. We'll do the pool first for the day, then head up early evening for the rides?"

"Sounds like a plan, Mrs. Grant." Fitz said, almost asleep.

"Then, tomorrow night, we can make out under the fireworks right from our balcony."

Fitz nuzzled his nose into her neck. "It's going to be a long week, isn't it."

"That's what I am hoping for, Admiral."

As the night continued, the Grant family slept peacefully in their vacation home. No doubt dreaming about the new life that would soon be in their lives. For now, they have a vacation to finish. Rides, food, miniature golf, swimming, and arcade games await them.

Soon, Brielle would be starting first grade, Soriyah and Olivia would be getting into a routine again, and Fitz would be continuing his never ending work days at the Pentagon, but now, they were a family, enjoying the all the things Virginia Beach had to offer.
