Camp Building (Night)
After his session with Tiger, Dominic joined the rest of his classmates as well as Class 1B to have dinner. However, there was a small, yet important caveat.
"As I said yesterday, we won't be cooking for you anymore." Pixie-Bob said, standing in front of a large table covered in a wide assortment of ingredients.
"If you want to eat, you'll have to make your own food! Today, you'll be making curry!" Ragdoll exclaimed. "You might all be exhausted, but don't think you can just coast by making sloppy cat food! You gotta be able to train and work hard, then make a decent meal afterwards!"
"I understand." Iida said. "An important part of being a hero is to keep civilians calm after a crisis. This is a great opportunity, class! Let's all strive to make the best curry in the world!"
Dominic was silently laughing to himself. All he needed was what he brought with him from Galar. He returned to his room and got his backpack, receiving a large bronze pot and a glass jar with a red substance inside. He set it down on the ground and got the metal frame ready. Once everything was in place, he rushed to the ingredients table and got only what he believed was needed for this dish. He didn't take much, which confused a few of his classmates, as well as the Wild, Wild Pussycats.
With the help of Charizard and Aegislash, the blonde was easily able to dice and heat up the veggies before pouring them in the pot along with the sauce he made. Once everything was ready to be stirred together, Dominic added the final ingredient, a sprinkle of the red substance he brought with him from the Galar Region. He then got a ladle and began stirring. The scent attracted some of Dominic's other Pokemon, like Greninja and Sylveon. After a few moments, he was done and added his concoction to a plate of rice. The end result was two massive portions of curry that had a reddish glow to them.
"Woah, what is that?" Sero asked, amazed.
"It's called Gigantamax Curry." Dominic explained as he served the dish to his Pokemon. "I used a special ingredient called Gigantamix to make it."
"Gigantamix?" Midoriya asked, curious.
"It's a rare ingredient from the Galar Region, a small country in the UK." Dominic lied. "I had some left over from when I explored that part of the world with Charizard."
"Wait, you've been to the UK!?" Yaoyorozu asked, incredulous.
"Yeah, among other places." the trainer said, thinking back. "My journey's taken me across the globe, to places you can only dream of." Outer space with Mega Rayquaza, Ultra Space on the back of Solgaleo, and the Underdepths of Area Zero in search of Terapagos. And there were still sights to be seen in the world for him. "My Pokemon have been with me every step of the way. I wouldn't even be here without them backing me up."
"You never told us you'd traveled that far." Mineta said, suspicious.
"Well, being a Pokemon Trainer kind of has 'explorer' in the job description." Dominic said, sheepish. He really should've practiced lying more. His brother was a lot better at this than he was. "And it's not that big of a deal. I've actually been abroad a lot since I was younger, traveling and battling to get stronger."
"How young exactly?" Todoroki asked, curious.
"Uh... Back home, it was customary to receive your Starter Pokemon once you were 10 years old." the boy answered.
"10 YEARS OLD!?" his classmates all shouted, astonished. Even Bakugo was caught off-guard by the proclamation.
"Well, there are some exceptions to the rule." Dominic continued, sweatdropping. "I remember this one pair of twins who battled against me. I think they were around 7 or 8. There was also a more recent case, a 5-year old girl who loved Steel-Type Pokemon."
"You're kidding." Kirishima said.
"I wish I was." Dominic said. Poppy's Tinkaton was far stronger than he expected it to be for a toddler's partner. That mindset almost cost him that victory. It was a good thing Armarouge's Armor Cannon saved the day at the last minute. "But when it comes to Pokemon Trainers, we're all the same. Adults, children, it doesn't matter."
"You've battled a lot of both?" Kaminari asked.
"Mostly adults." the blonde explained. "Asui, you remember Pieurve, right?"
"Yeah." the girl answered. That battle was a scary experience, but in the end, she was left in awe of how Gyarados triumphed. "His Glalie was really tough. So were all of his other Pokemon."
"Greninja, Slowbro, and the others barely stood a chance." Dominic said. "That's why I'm so excited to keep training here. We'll keep getting stronger until there's nobody in the world who can beat us!" Greninja, Charizard, and Aegislash pumped their arms into the air, shouting in agreement.
It wasn't until later that Dominic realized that Midoriya was nowhere to be seen.
Unknown Location (Night)
"Do you understand your assignment?" a male voice asked.
"Yep! Infiltrate the camp and find the winner of the UA Sports Festival!" a young female voice answered.
"Make sure you aren't spotted by anyone." the male voice instructed.
"Don't sweat it! With Crobat by my side, nothing can touch us!" the female voice exclaimed, confident. Her Pokemon shrieked in agreement.
"Do not underestimate this League Of Villains, Morticia." the male voice said. "Now go, and bring Dominic Xiao-Long to me!"
