Fontina Ori-chan: in MY story, in this FANFICTION, Edward dumped Bella at September 18th, not 16th. Because that night, it was the full moon. Yeah, full moon. Done some research on Google, got to do that, yk.

Chapter 2: Back in September 19th 2005

--

Charlie were worried. His daughter is crying in his arms and he couldn't help but blame the Cullen boy. He was not stupid or blind, by anymeans, the Cullen boy had been controlling and mentally abused his daughter for awhile now.

But he can muse about it later, his daughter first. She were clinging on him with tears streaming down her face and sobbing uncontrollably. It reminds him of when he used to hold her like this when she was still so little. She cried hard and cling on him with death grip no one knoww came from when she were about to go back to Renée. Or when she fall into the lake water where they had been fishing. His little Bells, that wasn't so little anymore, looked small in his arms.

Charlie circled her back and just be there for her, not saying a single word. He didn't care if he was needed at the station right now, Bella needed him and he'll be there for her, his daughter.

A few minutes later, Bella calmed down and finally processes the fact that Charlie's alive. "Dad...?" She mumbles in disbelief and doubt. Could it really be her father and not her imagination? It was still hard to process all of this.

"Yeah, Bells? Are you okay now?"

She pulled away again, this time touching Charlie's face and try to check his beating heart, trying to really check if all of this was real and that her father were actually alive! And it is real. He's alive.. CHARLIE'S ALIVE! Bella tears start to stream down again. Charlie's alive. He's alive and beating. breathing.

"Woah- what happened Baby girl? Tell me, i want to help." he coo-ed her like when she was a little child.

"*sob* i- i had a b-bad dream, Daddy." she answered after some pause and calming down the tears to speak coherently, "You- hic- you died, leaving me alone. I- i was- i was forced- hic- marriage- pr-pregnant! They want my- m-my baby dead, daddy! Dead! And they killed it- i- i didn't e-even know its g-g-gender! It- it was horrible!" she wailed again after telling him the half of the story. Well, the summary of the real thing that happened.

Bella hoped that was all a dream and this is her reality. Hoped her father hadn't died yet. But she still want her child, the baby she had carried for a few weeks and abnormally growing faster inside her womb than normal baby would.

The fourth time Bella calmed down, she cling on to Charlie, not releasing him, not even wanting to. She didn't want him to leave, not again. The hope this wasn't some kind of dream she's having was getting firmer? stronger? had i known any more grammar this would be awesome.

Anyway,

Charlie couldn't stay much longer though. He had a job, "Bells, Baby girl, please let go, i have to go to the station."

Bella shook her head frantically and cling on to him even more tighter. Charlie sighed and thought, well, i should probably tell the AP about the fact that I'm not going to make it there in time. And try to slip his hand out from Bella's death grip. He did it and take his digital phone, look, he just need one alright, it's the line of work and emergencies should he's not at his office.

He dialed the AP and managed to put it on speaker.

Not even a second later, AP answered, "Chief Swan speaking."

"Chief! Officer Smith speaking, sir!"

"Mark, I'm going to be late coming to the station today." He talked to the point. And it's Mark's cue that this isn't an official call.

"Ah, if you don't mind me asking, Chief. What's holding you right now? Did you get laid?"

Charlie rolled his eyes, "No, i didn't get laid. And it's because of my daughter. She needed me right now."

"Ah, the wood accident?" that's what they call it, "then you should just get a day off, Chief! I'm going to ask officer Kenneth to replace you for the day!"

"Huh? Don't need to! I'm going to work. Mark? Hey-" Mark ended the call. Charlie coffed, but you could see that he was amused.

At the station, Officer Smith grinned at the office, "Charlie's taking a day off, guys!"

They all cheered, finally that old man took a day off, he was going to kill himself if he keep up what he was doing. Seriously, no day off in a decade? Even the other PD wasn't as bad as him. Not necessarily bad, just that all of them were worried for the man. So it was worth celebrating after all.

Back to the Swan residence, Charlie kicked off his boots and lay down in Bella's bed with the latter in his arms. The father-daughter duo fell asleep as soon as they got comfortable

--

They found themselves at the kitchen in the mid afternoon. Charlie were warming up some food while Bella just sat at the dining table, thinking about everything that had been happening to her.

She had found out that she had been back to the day after Sam had found her. So she had been dreaming of six months full of agony and messed up things. She now know she was choosing the wrong path. But still, was it a vision/dream or a time-travel thing. But that was impossible, the most logical explanation had got to be that it was a vision.

Charlie watches his daughter musing over something he don't know, but he was not going to going to guess who it was she's thinking. Asking would only pressure her and right now pressure wasn't something Bella need. The topic will come eventually though.

Ding

Charlie took out the plate of heated food and place it in front of Bella, who were out of her musing. They both didn't say anything as Bella eat her food slowly.

Once she was done, Bella and Charlie went to the living room and decided to watch TV. They didn't watch sport nor did they care what channel was playing, but they settled on a comedy show.

By the end of the show, Bella had a change of heart and decided that comedy were good for her dull life. Because even if their jokes aren't appropriate sometimes, Bella still got a good laugh and she really needed it.

"Bells," Bella tensed, she had a feeling what topic Charlie was going to bring up and it didn't particularly a welcomed one, "what really did happen yesterday?"

She look anywhere but Charlie, "It was... Ed-Edward. He broke up with me. A-and dumped m-me—"

"In the woods?!" Charlie was suddenly full of rage. And Bella nodded timidly, not wanting to deny it and because that was the truth. Thinking about it again, that was what he did. And while Bella did have some fault in running right after him, Edward broke up with her in the woods and left her all alone, probably knew that she'll chase after him.

"D-don't dad! I-it was only Edward. Not- not even his family know t-that he did.." she tries to defend the Cullens, even though she hated them. They had killed her innocent baby. Well- except Rose and Em, both always wanted a baby, so they tried to protect Bella and her baby. But what happened to them? They died.

Charlie couldn't understand why she try to defend those people, they don't deserve it, especially that eddie boy. "Bells-" " I-i'm not defending E-Edward, dad! It just- D-don't blame Rose and Emmett. They were the only one who had been honest with me..." He sighed and nodded. He scooped his daughter in another hug and they stayed like that for awhile.

A few minutes later, Bella speaks again, "Dad," Charlie hummed, "can we go down to La Push?" She always feel safe down there, and beside, the pack is there and while it was not as big as it was in another 6 months, there are still Sam, Paul, and Jared. And Embry will phase in 4 months at most and then Jake will follow a week or so later. Quil would be at the same time with Leah and Seth, or that was what she remembered. Then Collin and Brady, oh they were so young, 11 or 12 years old only and poor children had a bad home. In the past she had been there for them and they, unknowns to Bella, look up to her as a big sister/mother figure.

"La Push?" Charlie raised an eyebrow at her, Bella blushed.

"W-well, i just want to play at the beach, maybe play with the sand. I n-need to get out of Forks for at least a few hours.." Charlie understands. But it was cold. And he knew Bella hates the cold AND being wet. So it was pretty OOC for her to want to go to the beach. Well, at this weather that is.

"Yeah, okay, but it's still cold outside." He pointed out, wanting to see her reaction or replies.

"It's fine. Maybe in a few days... It'll be sunny on Saturday." she blurted the last part out suddenly.

Charlie chuckled, thinking his daughter were so eager that she said the last part so sure that it would be sunny on Saturday.
