To my guest reviewer: Thank you. Once I read it, I said, "Paternal not Fraternal. Duh." Thanks.
To another guest reviewer: Yes, everyone but Rhett will be the same age except Suellen and Careen and maybe one or two others depending on how the story develops. At this point I have no plans to include Belle in the story.

Chapter Two
As Scarlett laid there next to the stranger that was now her husband in all ways, she smiled. Last night when she saw him approaching the bed with nothing on, she said, "If you touch me, I will scream."
"No, you won't. We are going to have a wonderful time together. If I hurt you in any way, let me know."
Rhett then started kissing her and soon she couldn't think at all.
Relations were wonderful. Not painful or something to suffer through like her mother said they were going to be.
Relations had been so pleasurable; how could anyone think of that as duty. Scarlett suddenly realized that not all men were as giving as her husband. She was a lucky woman she knew. She would never tell anyone how wonderful relations were except her daughters.
Rhett had been so kind. He had been so concerned about her pleasure. He had caressed her until she had felt that wonderful feeling. Scarlett had said, "What was that?"
"I will explain later. Let's keep having fun."
And Rhett and Scarlett had fun. She felt that feeling again. Rhett had said, "I am going to enter you now. If you feel any pain, let me know and I will stop."
"Alright." As Rhett slid his member inside Scarlett, she had gasped. He immediately stopped. He said, "Am I hurting you?"
"Not exactly. It doesn't hurt. It just feels different. Like I am being stretched."
"You may be since this is your first time. Can I continue?"
"Yes. Definitely."
Scarlett had felt that wonderful feeling a couple of more times.
When Rhett and Scarlett had caught their breath, he pulled her on top of his chest. He said, "That wonderful feeling is your satisfaction."
"Women can feel that too."
"You did and you certainly are a woman."
"Yes, I am. Even more so now."
Rhett and Scarlett had lain in each other's arms and went to sleep. It was the first time either one had ever slept with someone else in the bed with them.
As Scarlett continued lying there the morning after, Rhett rolled over. He thought, 'Yes, she is still here. It wasn't a dream." He said, "Good morning, Mrs. Butler."
Scarlett giggled and said, "Good morning, Mr. Butler."
Rhett rolled over on top of Scarlett and started kissing her. He pulled back and said, "I guess we both have morning breath."
"I know you do."
"And I know you do."
"Let's just ignore it."
"Great idea."
In Scarlett's opinion, relations were just as good the second time. Maybe even better because she knew what to expect. After they had finished, Rhett got out of the bed completely naked. As he was getting dressed, he said, "I am going downstairs to get us some hot water for us to wash with. While I am down there, I will order us some breakfast to be brought to our room."
"I will put my shimmy and my pantalets on. Will you help me with my corset?"
"Yes, I will. I will be right back."
Rhett returned to the room about ten minutes later. In greeting, he said, "The hot water should be here fairly quickly. The breakfast will take a little bit longer."
"What did you get?"
"Scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits."
"Good. I like all of those. Thank you for getting us a hotel room for our first night together."
"You are welcome. I wanted you to have privacy for your first time."
"Was this your first time, also?"
"No. Now no more questions."
"Alright."
By the time Rhett and Scarlett's breakfast had been delivered, they were both dressed. Rhett had even had time to shave.
Scarlett said, "We have to meet my family at your townhouse by eleven. That was nice of your mother to invite them to dinner."
"She invited your aunts also."
"And their families. It will be good to get to see my cousins."
"You haven't seen them during your visit?"
"Aunt Eulalie's daughter, Gabrielle and her husband Jeff Donovan came over a couple of times for supper with Aunt Eulalie and Uncle Clem, but I haven't seen my cousin, Timothee, my entire visit because he has been at their rice plantation. He and his family live there and manage the place. I am not very close to my cousins. Gabrielle is fifteen years older than me, and Timothee is twelve years older than me."
"Your mother is quite a bit younger than your aunts."
"Yes, my aunts' mother died and Grandpere remarried my mother's mother. I understand she had been married four times. My mother was her only child. She died from a fever after giving birth to my mother. I understand it is quite common. That is why I don't want to have children."
"We will have children. It is a result of our activity last night and this morning. What does your Uncle Claude do?"
"Not much of anything. My aunt and uncle prefer living in the city than on the plantation."
"Me too. My brother, Robert, is the opposite. He prefers living in the country."
"Do you think your father will leave him your family plantation instead of to you?"
"If I am lucky, he will."
"You don't want it!?"
"Not at all. I can make more money with my investments than I can at growing rice."
"What have you invested in?"
"I invested in a shipping line and a bank."
"Where did you get the money?"
"Father gave it to me last year to stop me from going to California and mining for gold. He is still hoping I will take on the responsibility of Middleton Acres."
"Is that your plantation's name?"
"It is the name of the Butler's plantation. Come on let's go. We don't want to be late to a dinner being held in our honor."
"No, we don't. I want to spend time with my family before they leave to return to Tara."
"And we leave to go to Myrtle Beach."
The dinner was nice. The conversation was pleasant. Scarlett was happy to see her parents, and her sisters. She was tolerant of Aunt Pauline, but she was still mad at Aunt Eulalie. If the woman hadn't insisted on being proper, she would have been back in Clayton County maybe planning her wedding to Ashley. At the very least still being the belle of five counties.
The families really didn't know each other. Elizabeth brought up the subject of the Charleston calendar, but since the O'Haras were going to be in Jonesboro it was of no interest to them.
Scarlett looked at Rhett's brother, Robert. She noticed that he had black hair and cobalt blue eyes. She thought to herself, 'That color combination is quite striking.' She turned and looked at her husband and thought, 'He has pretty eyes too.'
Rhett looked at his wife and wondered what she was thinking about because she certainly wasn't paying attention to the conversation at the table.
Elizabeth said, "Robert, who was that girl you brought to the wedding?"
"Daphne Moon."
"I don't think I know her."
"No, her family recently moved here from Manchester, England."
"Are you going to start calling on her?"
"I certainly am." Robert turned and smiled at Rhett and continued, "Now that I am the most eligible bachelor in Charleston."
Everyone, but the O'Haras laughed at Robert's statement. They didn't laugh because they didn't understand it. The conversation turned to more general topics.
Percy Butler looked at his eldest son. He had been shocked that Rhett had married the girl. At first Rhett had declared he would never marry Scarlett, then after a week, he had agreed to marry her.
Scarlett had no choice in the matter, of course. Percy knew that her father had already told her that she was marrying Rhett, and she might as well get used to it. At the dinner, Ellen had taken Scarlett aside and said, "I want you to realize what a lucky young lady you are. Mr. Butler could have refused to marry you, then because of your foolishness you would have been ruined."
"Yes, ma'am."
"Be sure you always remember to be grateful for what your husband has done for you. Also, remember that your husband will be very wealthy one day. Be sure you appreciate that also."
"Yes, ma'am."
Scarlett did appreciate Rhett being willing to marry her, but she would not grovel, and she would not feel in debt to him. He was getting her after all. She was the belle of five counties.
Rhett and Scarlett shared a cab to the train station with the O'Haras. After everyone had gotten out of the cab. Scarlett hugged everyone. She said, "I'm going to miss all of you."
Ten-year-old Careen said, "I'm going to miss you, too."
Eleven-year-old Suellen said, "I'm going to miss you, too."
Scarlett didn't believe Suellen. She thought her sister had said it because Careen had said it.
Ellen with tears in her eyes said, "We will pack up your room. As soon as you get an address, we can ship it to you."
"Of course, Mother. Goodbye Pa."
"Goodbye, Puss. Give me a big hug."
Scarlett hugged her father, then her mother, then Careen, and even Suellen. As Scarlett looked at Suellen, she saw that her little sister was looking smug. Scarlett knew Suellen thought she would finally be the center of attention in the O'Hara household. Suellen was going to be disappointed. Her parents loved Careen as much as they loved Suellen and Scarlett.
Gerald stuck out his hand to Rhett and the younger man took it. Gerald said, "Goodbye."
"Goodbye, Sir."
The O'Haras turned and walked towards their train. Scarlett said to Rhett, "What time is our train leaving?"
"In about an hour. Let's go sit down in the waiting room."
"Alright."
Once the O'Haras were settled on the train, Careen said, "Can I have Scarlett's room?"
Ellen said, "Of course. Once we get it cleaned out."
"Thank you, Mother."
Later that night after Suellen and Careen were asleep Gerald said, "The blessing from this is – Scarlett can no longer marry Ashley. I know John is my friend, but The Wilkeses are different from any of our neighbors – different from any family I ever knew. They are odd folks, and it's best that they marry their cousins and keep their oddness to themselves."
Ellen laughed and said, "They really are. Scarlett was just impressed with Ashley's looks."
"That and his superior demeanor"
Ellen laughed and Gerald joined her. Ellen said, "Scarlett's husband is rich, handsome, and has great social position."
"All across the South. Part of me wishes Bairseach had kept her mouth shut and just put Scarlett on the train back to Jonesboro."
Ellen smiled and said, "I thought Eulalie was Fhraoigh."
"I mix it up to keep you guessing."
Ellen smiled, "Eulalie has never been able to keep her mouth shut. She is the one that told Pere every time I met with Philipe."
"I know that you still miss him. I also know that if he hadn't died, you would never have agreed to marry a middle-aged Irish man and move to Georgia."
"I have never regretted marrying you, Gerry. Nobody could have treated me better than you have. Even giving up your marital rights just so I wouldn't have to suffer the loss of another child."
"I couldn't handle the loss of another child either."
"Once again, Eulalie was doing the proper thing."
"What is done is done. Let's just hope it works out for Rhett and Scarlett."
"Yes, let's. I will pray for their marital success."
Rhett and Scarlett had a wonderful time in Myrtle Beach. They did a lot of talking and getting to know each other. They walked on the beach. Rhett knew the best restaurants. After eating in an extremely good restaurant, Scarlett said, "Have you been here before?"
"No, why?"
"You know where all the best restaurants, what there is to see here, and the best place to stay."
"I spoke to a lot of my friends. I wanted our honeymoon to be perfect."
"It is so far."
Rhett bought them each a bathing suit and made them get in the water. He allowed her to wear a big hat, but he did not allow her to bring a parasol. Later that day, Scarlett noticed that she had tan lines. She was not happy. When she started whining to him, he wrestled her down on the bed. He said, "Nobody, but me is going to see those lines. I think they are incredibly sexy."
"You think they are sexy?"
"Yes, I do. Let me show you how much."
Rhett did indeed think the tan lines were sexy. It meant he was seeing something no other man was seeing. That no other man had ever seen. That meant his wife was all his. He still couldn't get enough of her. Of course, they had just gotten married. He knew that after a year, if not before, her hold on him would be nonexistent. It was also nice to be able to have relations three to four times a day and not have to pay for it. He was so glad he was able to bring her sexual satisfaction. That meant she would be more willing to be intimate with him.
