Here we are at Chapter 37. More sports, more games, it's time for more RWBY KEPL Chibi! I do not own RWBY. They belong to roosterteeth. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 37. Enjoy.

Chapter 37: Batter Up

Skit 1: Unsportsmanlike Conduct

It's time for a nice, clean game of baseball. Out in the field are Teams RWBY, KEPL, and Penny for one team. Against them are Team JNPR, Sun and Neptune, Voshkie'ahk, and Coco and Velvet. Weiss, Blake, and Yang are in the outfield from right field to left field respectfully. In the infield are Edom at third base, Penny on short stop, Ruby on second base, Porphyrius on first base, Khazhak as the pitcher, and Lloyd as the catcher. Professor Port serves as the umpire. The game is tied at 3-2, with Khazhak's team in the lead and it's the ninth inning. However, if Jaune's team can get one run in this inning, they'll go to extra innings. Coming up to bat is Jaune.

"You can do it Jaune!" Pyrrha cheers for him from the sidelines.

"Break a leg, Jaune!" Nora shouts.

"Nora, no leg breaking in baseball," Ren says.

Jaune takes his position with his bat up. He feels confident. He believes he can get a homerun here... and then he sees the hungry smirk on Khazhak's face and his confidence is gone just like that. Khazhak readies the ball and Lloyd, deciding to have a little fun, gives Khazhak and open, five-fingered signal. Khazhak nods.

"Hey, batter-batter-batter-batter-batter, swing batter," Khazhak mutters before throwing a curve ball... that curves right towards Jaune's head.

Jaune manages to duck low before the ball hits.

"Ball 1!" Port calls.

Jaune's legs are shaking as he tries to get back into position. Khazhak readies to pitch and Lloyd gives him the signal for a fast ball. Khazhak nods and winds up the pitch. He throws a very fast ball and Jaune can't even blink before Lloyd catches it.

"Strike 1!" Port yells.

Jaune looks around, "Wait, what? Did it already happen?" he asks, making his team facepalm.

Suffice to say, the next two pitches go the same way and Jaune gets struck out. He leaves the base and next comes Pyrrha.

"I'll get that homerun for Jaune," Pyrrha mutters as she readies her bat.

Khazhak readies the pitch and throws a curve ball at her. However, Pyrrha manages to hit it and it goes long. She doesn't get a homerun, but the ball gets far enough were Blake and Yang run for it before throwing it to Ruby at second base a second too late as Pyrrha gets there safely. She pumps her fists for bringing her team closer to victory. Khazhak narrows his eyes as Sun comes up for his turn. Sun gives him a cocky smirk. After Pyrrha got one over on him, Khazhak is looking to wipe homebase with Banana Breath. Khazhak throws a fast ball as hard as he can. Sun swings his bat, but the ball flies just under the swing. Sun tries two more times and gets two more of the same result. Three strikes. Sun walks away in defeat. Now it's up to their, possibly, last hitter, Nora. She comes up, and for some crazy reason, brings her hammer with her instead of a bat.

"Um, is that legal?" Ruby asks.

"Come on, hit me with your best shot, Khazhak!" Nora challenges him.

"Um, Khazhak..." Weiss looks worried.

"Let's play ball!" Khazhak accepts the challenge.

Lloyd gives him the signal. Khazhak throws the fastest fast ball he can muster. Nora, somehow, is able to swing her hammer and hits the ball. The ball goes flying... right into Khazhak's left eye and knocks him to the ground, with the ball still stuck on his face.

"And you're out! That's game!" Port announces.

"What?! Nora!" Jaune yells while the rest of their team groan in defeat.

"Yay, we win!" Yang cheers.

"Huh, I can't believe that worked," Blake notes.

"Yeah, way to keep your eye on the ball, Khazhak," Ruby smiles.

Khazhak weakly raises a fist up, "Yeah... Go team..." he groans in pain.

Skit 2: Frosty Family

Edom is following Weiss, who is acting more... giddy than normal. That can mean only one thing.

"I guess Winter is paying a visit again, huh," Edom says.

"Yes! Oh, this is perfect. I am so excited to show her how well I've been doing at Beacon since her last visit," Weiss says happily.

Edom sighs, "Sometimes, I wish you were always this happy when you see me," he mutters, though Weiss doesn't hear him.

They exit the building and find Winter outside, "Winter, it's so wonderful to see you again,"

However, Winter pays them no mind as she looks around frantically, "Drat, where could they be?!" she pulls out her scroll.

"Sister, what's wrong?" Weiss finally gets her attention.

"Weiss, good, you're here! Listen, I need your help, sister! Edom, you're going to help too!" Winter declares.

"Um... help with what exactly?" Edom cocks his head.

"Winter, what's going on? I don't usually see you this worried about... whatever it is you're worried about,"

"Listen Weiss, we have a major problem here... Mother and Whitley are here in Vale," Winter says.

Weiss and Edom freeze at hearing that. It's astounding to Weiss that her mother would be out of the manor. Even more so that Whitley would go with her and not constantly be sucking up to their father. However, that's not important right now.

"Wait, Mother and Whitley are here? Why? Where?" Weiss asks.

"As for the 'why', Mother wanted to see you and managed to convince Whitley to join her. As for the 'where', that's the problem. I lost track of them. I'm worried about Mother if she ends up in a drunken stupor and gets herself into a terrible situation. I'm even more worried about Whitley. Knowing him, he'll upset the wrong person and we're not in Atlas. His attitude will send him to an early grave," Winter explains.

Winter's right. Their mother is one thing, but Whitley is just like their father. Arrogant, self-centered, and thinks he's above everyone else.

"Okay, your mother is one thing, but do we really have to find Whitley? I much rather enjoy whatever show he puts himself in and watch the fireworks," Edom says.

"Come on, we have to find them!" Winter grabs them and pulls them along as they search for Willow and Whitley.

They look throughout the school. Winter know that they were with her when they arrived at the school before they disappeared. They check Team RWBY's and Team KEPL's rooms, but no such luck. They then check the combat arena, but find no one there. By this point, Weiss and Winter are getting incredibly concerned. They check the living area by the kitchen. By some miracle or act of the gods, they find Willow there... sitting on the couch with the head of a sleeping Ruby on her lap. Standing next to them is Klein as he brews them a fresh batch of tea.

"Mother, where have you been?! We've been looking everywhere for you!" Weiss shrieks.

"Ssshhhh, calm down, Weiss. Your leader just fell asleep," Willow shushes her before stroking Ruby's head as she sleeps.

"...Go get 'em... Zwei..." Ruby mumbles in her sleep.

"Um, how did this happen?" Winter asks.

"Well, after we got separated from you, Ruby bumped into us and wanted to give us a tour. However, Whitley said some uncouth things to her and she started crying. I just managed to lull her into sleep shortly before you showed up. The poor girl," Willow says.

"Your tea is ready, Madam. I had to withhold your usual... beverages this time, I'm afraid," Klein says.

"That's alright, Klein. That can wait until we return home," Willow accepts the tea.

"Wait, wait, if you're here, then where is Whitley?" Winter asks.

"Well, after Whitley hurt this poor girl's feelings, an older looking girl came by and said she'd talk to Whitley about his behavior and told me to look after Ruby," Willow explains.

"Wait, what did this girl look like?" Edom asks.

"Hmm, she had long blonde hair, lilac eyes, and dressed rather... boldy. Do you know anyone like that?" Willow asks.

At hearing the description, the three of them freeze with wide eyes. There's only one person that fits that description... and Whitley just made her little sister cry.

"Welp, may Whitley rest in peace... or pieces," Edom places a hand on his chest, while the sisters just facepalm.

"That idiot," Winter groans.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I've apologized already! Please, let me go!" Whitley shouts.

"No, I want them to hear you all the way from Atlas! Nobody makes my cute, little sister cry!" a red-eyed Yang yells as she hangs Whitley, who is upside down while bound in Gambol Shroud's ribbon, from a tree over a pack of Beowolves that are trying to eat him. Meanwhile, Blake is sitting behind her reading a book. "Say you're sorry, now!"

"I'M SO SORRY!" Whitley cries.

Skit 3: Changing Style

Khazhak stares off flatly, "Remind me again why we're here?"

Teams KEPL and RWBY are in Yukari's clothing store in Vale. As for the why, well...

Yang sighs, "Well, Weiss lost a bet with Yukari, with the stakes being that if Weiss won, she'd get to boss Yukari around for a week. If Yukari won, then we'd have to be her volunteers for a new clothing line she's designing. And Weiss lost,"

"Wait, why'd we get pulled into this then? Isn't this Weiss' fault since she lost. Why do we have to face punishment as well?! I'm not good with fancy clothes or high heels," Ruby cries.

"Don't blame me for this! I swear, Yukari cheated. There's no way I could've lost otherwise," Weiss scoffs, turning her head away.

"Weiss... you challenged Yukari to a swimsuit competition. Did you honestly think you could beat her in something like that with your current... arsenal?" Yang stares at her and then glances at her rather... small assets.

"Are you calling me flat?!" Weiss yells.

"No, but I certainly will," Yukari joins them. "However, that will be for later. Now then, let's begin. I can't wait to see how you'll all look in them. Especially you, Voshkie darling!" Yukari coos.

"Yay," the teams dryly cheer.

After a few hours of painful measurement taking, fabric swapping, and other situations involved in clothing, the group is finally finished. Team KEPL come out of the store first. Khazhak is wearing a male Hanfu that's black in color with blue dragon designs on the front and back, black pants, and matching shoes. For Edom, he still has on his mask with a black shawl wrapped around his head, but now he is wearing a black and red Cheongsam with a few skull designs on the arms and the chest, dark red pants, and black shoes. Meanwhile, Porphyrius is wearing a Kung Fu outfit with a dark purple, long-sleeved shirt, black pants and shoes, and the design of black folded falcon wings on the back of his shirt. Finally for Lloyd, he is wearing the same outfit a Porphyrius, but the shirt is gray and has the sleeves rolled up past his elbows.

"Wow, this feels pretty good actually. And Brother's killing it with his new look," Lloyd notes as he inspects everyone.

"Could've done without the past few hours of clothing torture from Voshkie'ahk's crazy girlfriend though," Porphyrius groans.

"Well, what's done is done. Soon this will all be over and we can get back to... to..." Khazhak trails off as he stares wide-eyed off to the side.

The boys follow his direction and freeze as well. Team RWBY come out in their new outfits. For Yang, she is wearing a woman's Tang Suit, with the shirt being yellow with a white dragon design on the front, earth-colored pants with sunflowers on them, and her hair done up in an elegant ponytail with pair of flower stick pins in it. For Blake, she is wearing a modern Cheongsam that's black in color with purple flower petals flowing around the dress, short sleeves, and a slit down her right side. Her bow has been replaced with one of purple fabric. For Weiss, she is wearing the same dress as Blake, but her's is in a light blue color that cascades down into white with snowflakes along the dress. She also has a tassel stick pin to replace her tiara for her ponytail. Finally, Ruby is wearing a red traditional women's Hanfu dress with a long, flowing skirt, and long butterfly sleeves. Silver flower petals are all around the dress. Finally, she has on a few flowery tassel hair pins situated around her head almost like a crown.

"Wow," all boys say in awe.

"Oh, you all absolutely fabulous! Even you, Ice Queen!" Yukari coos.

"Hey!" Weiss retorts.

"And now that the prototypes came out so well. It's time to design the perfect outfit for my Voshkie darling. See you later!" and Yukari leaves them behind to find her girlfriend.

"Well, I have to admit, we do look pretty cool, don't we guys," Yang says as she checks herself out in a window.

"Y-Yeah," Porphyrius stutters as he stares at her.

"I'll say," Khazhak mutters as he stares at Ruby with a huge blush.

Ruby blushes bashfully, "Um, could you maybe not stare so much, Khazhak? It's a little embarrassing,"

"While she will always irritate me to no end, at least she has good tastes," Weiss notes, though she hates to admit it.

And that's the chapter. I had some fun with this one. Keep the ideas coming and you might see them in future chapters. Until then, please Read and Review.
