Chapter 11: A Fearsome Conclusion:
Yu wakes up, albeit groggily inside of Japan's Bey stadium, but something was very different...something was wrong...
Instead of a stadium with thousands of home fans cheering their home town hero, there was nothing but complete and utter chaos and destruction. The Bey stadium was completely destroyed and completely set ablaze...
"This...this can't be."
The screeching sounds of a Bald Eagle could be heard from the skies above, causing the young Blader in Yu to stare up into the blazing darkness that was once a beautiful sight.
"Huh?!" As the young Libra Blader looked up he saw something unreal, and that was the brief glimpse of the maniacal face of Tsubasa. Before Yu could process it, the powerful animal dive bombed towards the young Blader without mercy, causing him to scream for his life, helpless to stop anything that was happening...
Yu woke up screaming loudly and profusely, but instead of being surrounded by chaos and destruction, he was surrounded by Madoka, Gingka, Masamune and Kenta.
"Take it easy, Yu," Said Kenta, "Its alright now."
Once Libra's master got ahold of himself, he took a deep breath and calmed down. "What happened? All I remember is us battling...but...but where am I now?"
Modaka speaks up, giving him the answers he needed. "You're in the team room, you passed out during the final stages of the battle against Demure and Benkei."
"Aw that's right!" A realization hits Yu. "The team battle. Well don't just sit there you guys, tell me how the battle went!"
"We won," Kenta spoke up. "Gan Gan Galaxy won the second match Yu."
"Really?"
Seeing the smiling faces of Madoka, Masamune, Kent and Gingka provided Yu with some well-needed closure to ease his anxiety.
"Yes sir." Said the smiling Gingka. "The world championships aren't over for us yet, not by a long-shot. It's all thanks to yourself and Tsubasa my friend."
Masamune finally spoke up, "Yeah, you really gave it your best out there, thanks a lot Yu."
The young Gan Gan Galaxy member couldn't help but laugh and smile with everybody over their win in the second match. But another important realization hit him and made him stop smiling and laughing. "But guys, where's Tsubasa?" The atmosphere in the room suddenly changed after that question was in the air. For a second no one had said anything, which made Yu once again get worried. Something tells him that he's not going to like the answer he was going to get. And he was right.
"The...hospital." Says Madoka, "He's in the hospital. Tsubasa took a lot of damage from the last match, both mentally and physically."
Fear and worry began to take hold of Yu once he learned his friend was in the hospital following their battle. "Well is he gonna be okay?!"
"Well he could be a lot worse." Said Masamune. "He went on a rampage wild enough to destroy the entire stadium. He was totally out of control, it's completely unlike the calm and laid back Tsubasa that we know."
"He's right." Madoka adds, "He was a mess out, his rampage was so power, he completely blew through you, Benkei and Demure, I couldn't believe my own eyes. We also don't know the current situation and the circumstances surrounding whether or not he'll be alright."
Yu's anxiety slowly creeps up and begins to take over once more. He almost didn't want to believe it. How could Tsubasa, one of the world's most calm and peaceful Bladers, go on an all out psychotic and venom fueled rampage. It just didn't make any sort of sense to him. "How could this have happened?" Was all he could ask.
"We don't know," Said Masamune. "All we know is that we need to figure out what the heck we're going to do about the final match. For Tsubasa's sake, we have to continue on with our quest to become number one in the world."
Almost on cue, a knock on their team room's door stopped everyone in their tracks. Gingka got up to open the door and there stood retired Blader and WBBA Executive, Hikaru. "Hey guys."
"Hikaru?" Said Gingka, Masamune, Yu and Kenta all in sync with one another.
"Before we get started I just want to personally congratulate you guys for such great and hard fought battles thus far, you guys are true warriors at heart."
"We appreciate it, but what are you doing here?" Asked Masamune. If a WBBA Member is here, this must mean something serious has or is going to happen regarding the World Championships.
"I have important information about your battle against Wildfang. Director Ryo has decided that the final match in The Africa and Japan series will be...a Team Battle."
This announcement made Gan Gan Galaxy and Kenta dead silent for a moment before they all expressed their shock at the news. "A Team Battle?"
Hikaru continued. "Yes I'm sorry to spring it on you guys all of a sudden, but please decide who will be participating by the time the match starts."
This just fired up the spirit of Masamune. "Alright perfect, this time we'll make sure it's a clear win, no strings attached. We'll properly earn our spot in the finals and then we'll smash through Excalibur or Wang-Hu-Zhong."
"Right." Says Gingka, "We have to make sure we don't waste this last chance that we've got. We just have to win. We cannot let Tsubasa and Yu's efforts be in vain. Let's rock, Masamune."
"You bet!" Masamune replies.
While Masamune and Gingka are fully ready for the final showdown, Madoka is still worried about the wellbeing of the both of them. "Gingka, Masamune, just be careful, please."
This fell on deaf ears as usual.
"So is this your final decision, Gan Gan Galaxy?" Hikaru asks.
Gingka and Masamune both nod reassuringly and with serious expression while the rest of the team and Kenta look more worried about the two.
Hikaru makes the decision final. "Good, so it will Gingka and Masamune competing on behalf of Gan Gan Galaxy against Kyoya and Nile. I'll make the announcement known immediately." Before Hikaru leaves the team, she gave them some words of encouragement. "And one more thing you guys, the Director is gonna kill me if he finds out about this, but good luck, you guys secretly have my support." Hikaru smiles before she turns and walks away from the locker room of Gan Gan Galaxy.
Once Hikaru left, Gingka turns and looks at Masamune. "So Masamune, it looks like you get another shot at Nile, and I get another shot at Kyoya."
"So it seems, we've got to win, no matter what." Said Masamune, although a hint of uncertainty rang in his voice, and Madoka caught this.
"You bet you," Gingka replied, obviously excited by their one last chance. Madoka just sat down, working on Pegasus and Striker, while continuing to worry for the well-being of GanGan Galaxy.
The wild, excited and bandaged Kyoya sat in Wildfang's team room with Demure and Bull standing over him. While they were more worried for their leader's safety, Kyoya was more so excited than worried about his own safety. "Hmph, so another match huh?" Kyoya balled his fists up in the process with a malicious smile on his face.
"I'm sorry, Kyoya." Says Bull, trying to apologize for his failure in not winning the match against Tsubasa and Yu.
"If only we had won in the end." Demure adds.
Kyoya merely smiles at his overly worried teammates. "No sweat, Gingka and his team are our opponents, I never thought even once that this would be an easy battle."
Bull was still unsure of whether he should feel comfortable, disappointed or worried so he merely stayed quiet for the time being while Nile did the talking with Kyoya.
"You seem very pleased that the battle has to continue on Kyoya."
Once again, as with Bull and Demure, Kyoya only smiles at Nile. "I get to battle with Gingka one more time."
"Huh?" Nile was almost as confused as the rest of Wildfang were about Kyoya's fascination for waging war with Gingka once more. He just didn't quite get it. Why would his friend willingly want to have the series continue onwards instead of them just being able to clean up house and go on to the next round.
BeyBlade's King Of Leone only grinned even more as he clutched onto his Rock Leone. No one in that team room other than Kyoya and Leone could feel that beautiful raw rush of excitement. It was simply unmatched and unrivaled.
"This is just what we wanted, right Leone?"
In response to his master, Leone's Bey Spirit briefly emitted a green aura of light around itself to give off the impression that he was happy to face Pegasus once again as well.
Nile, Demure and Bull were completely dumbfounded, but they came to accept that this was just who Kyoya was, always ready and eager for the next battle, regardless of who the opponent was, or how much strength they had.
That night outside and away from the comfort of their beds, Gingka and Masamune are both outside collecting their own thoughts and trying to focus on the high stakes of their battle against Wildfang. If they lose, That's it, no more chances, no more reruns, and most importantly, not becoming number one in the world.
Masamune just couldn't bear the thought of losing again and being eliminated from the world championships. There was just too much at stake for Masamune. While the injured Gingka was trying his hardest to fight through the pain of his injuries during his night time training, Masamune was mentally fighting his fears and demons, which was no cakewalk. Losing just wasn't an option.
Right now, Gan Gan Galaxy was a complete mess. From Gingka dealing his injuries from the battle with Kyoya, Tsubasa currently in the hospital and Masamune being a nervous train wreck, their chances of surviving the final battle with Wildfang were very slim, and Madoka knew this firsthand.
The mechanic saw Gingka struggling to merely launch Pegasus at a can of pop, dropping the launcher and his Bey in the process.
Then the mechanic saw Masamune, sitting on a bench away from Gingka, clutching onto his Ray Striker very tightly and sweating profusely. "Gingka, Masamune." Was all that she was able to say. The team was a complete disaster right now, and she just couldn't sit idly by and watch them all fall apart before the final fight against Wildfang. She needed to get them all in shape and fast. Luckily she had a good feeling about this plan of hers that'd soon come into fruition. And she had a foreign friend helping her out with the process. The first step; dealing with Masamune. She walked over to him first.
"Masamune, what's wrong?" She asked, although she obviously knew the answer to the question.
Meanwhile, the self proclaimed number one Blader still held onto his Striker very tightly. "Nothing. Just a little pre-battle chills, that's all, I'm fine, it's nothing to worry about." He quickly denied, but Madoka clearly knew he was not telling the truth.
"Don't lie to me Masamune, I can tell you're not feeling good about the final battle." Madoka says. Boys and their pride, so annoying. She mentally punched herself with how stubborn Masamune is. He and Gingka are alike in more ways than one, though neither of them would ever willingly admit it.
"I'm not lying!" Masamune quickly jumps up in defiance. "It's just pre-battle chills, that's all now."
This was going to be a challenge, more so than Madoka was willing to deal with, especially at this time of the night. But it was for the good of the team, so she had no choice. The mechanic stood up and firmly stomped her foot on the ground directly in front of Masamune, surprising him in the process.
"Masamune!" In response, The Striker Blader jumped back in surprise. He had almost forgotten how scary Madoka could be when she was angry. "Don't give me that 'pre-battle chills' nonsense, you're clearly nervous, maybe even scared before the big battle tomorrow."
Masamune took a moment to let the shock settle in. There was no point in trying to deny it any longer. Madoka was absolutely right, and he knew it. So he opted to just stay silent until Madoka finished making her point.
"...And that's okay." Madoka says, much calmer. "Believe me, while you, Gingka and the others are light years ahead of me as an actual Blader, I also have an incredible idea of the emotions that come with winning and losing a battle. You're worried about the possibility of losing tomorrow's final match, and no one's judging you for that, as a Blader, it's natural for you guys to be uneasy about a big battle."
"Yeah, but.-" He tries to say, but is cut off.
Madoka merely smiled and chuckled lightly. "But what if you lose? Masamune, you never know when you might win a battle, or lose a battle, you win some, you lose some, all that matters is that you fight until the very end with all of your strength and skills as a Blader. You and the rest Gan Gan Galaxy should know this firsthand as a Blader, silly."
The owner of Ray Striker actually began to feel better, but not by much. While he appreciated Madoka's words of encouragement, he still felt like it wouldn't be enough for the final fight against Team Wildfang. Madoka could still see that he was having a hard time coming to terms with his fears and anxiety.
And she had just the plan to help him deal with that.
"Masamune, go down to Bey Plaza." Madoka suddenly says.
"Huh? At this time? It's getting ki-"
Madoka just cuts off the stubborn Blader. "Don't say anything, just go. I have a surprise there that'll help you feel better, okay?"
Just what in the world could Madoka be talking about? What kind of surprise could she have planned out at this time of night? Masamune was skeptical, but in the end obliged. "Fine, I'll check it out." The Ray Striker Blader got and headed in the direction of Bey Plaza, wondering just what the heck Madoka, who was smiling to hard, had in store for him.
"One down." Madoka whispers under her breath. "Now, we just need to get Gingka to call it a night."
Down at Bey Plaza, Masamune who had arrived there a while ago, was busy trying to search around for whatever his 'surprise' was. With how long he was searching, Masamune could've sworn he was Watson or Sherlock. Then again maybe Madoka was just playing a prank on him to get him in good spirits before the fourth and final battle of the Wildfang, GanGan Galaxy series.
This practical joke was just tiring out Masamune as he wanted to find whatever this surprise was, grab some grub and call it a night. The 'number one' Blader needed his beauty sleep and this prank was taking up far too much time.
"Where is it?!" Masamune whined. "I want my surprise now so I can catch my beauty sleep."
The owner of Striker was growing even more tired and frustrated as he couldn't find what in the world Madoka was talking about earlier. It didn't help that ontop of all this, he was still secretly worried about the final battle.
"Well then I hope I don't disappoint you." A polite voice called out.
Masamune immediately stopped in his tracks and turned to his left to find a very familiar face to his left side.
It was Mei-Mei, standing by him front and center.
Masamune didn't waste any time in expressing his surprise and confusion. "Mei-Mei, what are you doing here?" What exactly was the pride of the Beylin Temple doing here. Masamune wanted to know.
The Aquario and Beylin Temple Blader explained herself. "Well you see, Madoka called and said you were feeling really bummed out by your loss to Nile in the first match against Africa's team."
The owner of Striker in response stood their in silence and sadness, confirming Mei-Mei's statement. And she could sense that sadness in his body language.
"So Madoka reached out to Chao-Xin and me, so I decided I'd fly to Japan to come cheer you up." Before she could continue, Mei-Mei pulled out an envelope containing Masamune's name written on the front with Chinese symbols stamped on it and handed it to him. "Chao-Xin told me to give this to you, don't worry, I didn't open it."
"Huh?" Masamune took the envelope and began to open it. Inside it contained a letter from Chao-Xin directly to Masamune himself. He began to read it.
Yo Masamune, I know you're all bummed out about the loss to that Nile guy, and are totally freaked out about the final match against Team Africa and it's eating you up and making you totally uncool right now, so me and Madoka took matters into our own hands and decided to set you and Mei-Mei up to hang out and get your spirits together before the big match. PS, you need to chill out dude, You're supposed to have fun and be laid back about battling man, PS Again, I told Mei-Mei that you REALLY AND I MEAN REALLY WANTED TO SEE HER BADLY to make things more fun and interesting, Hehe.
From the coolest dude at Beylin Temple and on Wang-Hu-Zhong, Chao-Xin :)
Masamune's eyes widened at that last part of the letter. "WHAT?! I NEVER SAID THAT! I'm gonna kill Chao-Xin next time I see him! Do you here me Chao-Xin?! I'll get you back!"
Mei-Mei could only help but giggle out and smile at the adorable friendship between Chao-Xin and Masamune. "Well, at least you somewhat got your spirit back, too bad it's not for BeyBlade, Masamune."
The Striker Blader turned back towards Mei-Mei before realizing what he just said. "Oh no, that's not what I meant! Mei-Mei I'm really glad you came all this way to help me out, I didn't-"
"Its okay Masamune, I know what you mean. Now come on, let's have some fun together."
The Chinese girl grabbed Masamune's hand and began dragging him into the depths of Bey Plaza despite his protests and constant bantering. Tonight would surely be fun one to remember.
The kick off their night of fun, the pair of Masamune and Mei-Mei decided they would first spend some time inside of a Japanese arcade. Mei-Mei had dragged Masamune to a Japanese-style dancing game. While the former was more enthusiastic for this, Masamune wasn't exactly fond of this.
He had never really been a good dancer, and even if he wanted to, he couldn't practice much being that he devoted himself and all of his time into beyblading and training.
"I don't know about this Mei-Mei." Said a nervous Masamune.
Mei-Mei reassured him. "Don't worry, it'll be fun."
The Beylin Temple girl pushed a button and started up the arcade game. "Kon'nichiwa young Bladers!" Said a digital feminine voice. This spooked Masamune a bit. "Are you ready to show us your moves? Okay, get ready, Three..."
"Wait wait!" Yelled Masamune. "What are we supposed to do?"
"Two..."
"One...Let it shake!"
the Japanese music began to play and that signaled for the pair to dance in rhythm. Mei-Mei did much more gracefully, while Masamune was struggling to merely tap the dance tiles on time. If only boys put this much time into other things other than battling Mei-Mei thought to herself.
Eventually the song concluded and the Japanese female voice told the pair their respective scores during the game.
"Kon'nichiwa young Bladers!" The voice first told Mei-Mei her score. "Blader number one, your score is one hundred!" Mei-Mei looked pleased. "Well done!" The voice then told Masamune his score. "Blader numbed two, your score is 30!"
"WHAT?!" Masamune was more than displeased. Mei-Mei couldn't help by laugh. "That's not fair! I was ripped off."
"Better luck next time Blader number two!" Said the voice.
As the two stepped off the dance game, Masamune's ranting about how he was robbed could he heard by everyone present in the area. Mei-Mei secretly found it funny and adorable, but realized she had to get the Ray Striker Blader under control before he embarrasses himself and her even further. So she dragged him off towards the next thing they'd do to enjoy their time together.
Now the World Championship contenders found themselves doing a-lot more activities with each other. One game Mei-Mei and Masamune found themselves testing the strength of their beys, and another found them trying to balance their beys on a very small and very thin balance beam. Mei-Mei easily did this due to her training at the Beylin Temple. Masamune himself even managed to pull it off as well.
The two were actually having a good time together. More so than Masamune had realized. At a Japanese dessert bar, Mei-Mei has even purposely flicked some ice cream into the face of Masamune to mess around with him. Masamune later got his payback by spraying her with a water gun and soaking her entirely.
Throughout the night Masamune realized something. Outside of his friends growing up and obviously Gan Gan Galaxy, Mei-Mei was the one true person that was willing to help him. To ease his tension. Ever since he had first saw her tonight he hadn't once thought about the final battle and the fears he had for it. And to him, that was an amazing feeling. Maybe this thing Chao-Xin and Madoka had set up wasn't so bad after all.
Next the two World Championship Bladers found themselves at a traditional carnival game. Mei-Mei eyes the prizes that are hung up around the game. A giant black and white panda catches her attention. "Ouu, I want the panda Masamune." She happily says.
The Ray Striker Blader smiles and gives her the signal to go for it.
The owner of the game suddenly spoke up. "Step up, step up, launch your beys and hit the targets and win a big prize!" The guy looked very sleazy, but Mei-Mei didn't seem to mind, while Masamune did. "Hey there little lady, why do you give it a shot?!" The sleaze ball says.
"Yea go for it Mei-Mei." Said Masamune.
the Beylin Temple Blader smiles and readies her launcher for the first target. "Aquario!" She launches her Bey at the first target and easily hits it. Aquario jumps back and readies itself for the next target. It hits that target. Then it readies itself for the third target. And easily knocks down that target. Then the fourth one. Mei-Mei was so close to winning her giant panda. "I've almost got it. Go Aquario!"
Masamune watches as Aquario comes full force for the fifth and final one. But he notices something weird. He notices the sleazy owner hands quickly press a button on the side of the game's stand.
Aquario hits the fifth target, but instead of knocking it down and winning the game, the target all of a sudden seemed like a solid iron wall of steel and repelled back Aquario, much to the shock of the Mei-Mei.
"Ohh sorry little lady! Better luck next time, you snooze you lose!" Said the overly enthusiastic slime ball.
"Aw." Mei-Mei was saddened. She came so close to winning her stuffed panda, but failed in the end. She had been so close. All she needed was the one final target.
Suddenly, "Hey, what's the big idea pal?!"
Mei-Mei and the crooked carnival game owner turned and looked at Masamune, who looked angered. "I saw your hand, this game is totally rigged!"
"I don't know what you're talking about, kid!" The man quickly yelled. "She lost fair and square, maybe if she betters her skills as a Blader, she'll be able to do such a simple thing!" The game host laughed at his insult towards Mei-Mei, who was even more discouraged and frustrated, but little did he know, this only angered Masamune even more.
"Now you've done it!" Masamune readied Striker and his launcher. "Now it's my turn." Masamune looked towards Mei-Mei. "You'll get your prize Mei-Mei, Ha, just watch this, Let it rip! Let's go Striker! Special move..."
The sudden call for his special move stopped the game owner dead in his tracks. He looked more terrified now that an experienced Blader was putting him in check. "What do you think you're doing?!"
Masamune only ignored him. "Lightning Sword Flash! Let's go Striker, crush that stupid target!"
The Unicorn Bey spirit of Striker suddenly appeared as Striker charged straight for the rigged target. It channeled and focused its purple lightning like energy into one point and attacked the gimmicked target. Striker easily managed to break through, causing a massive explosion that destroyed most of the carnival game. The sleaze ball owner of the game could only cower in fear as the upper half of his game stand was destroyed with some of it set ablaze by the powerful energy of Striker's special move.
Masamune saw what they were there for in the first place; Mei-Mei's giant stuffed panda. The Gan Gan Galaxy member grabbed his female companion's rightfully earned prize.
He checked and carefully made sure it didn't get damaged from his special move. Once it was certain that the stuffed panda was safe and secure, Masamune handed it over to its rightful newfound owner. "Here, take it Mei-Mei, it's yours."
the Beylin Temple girl took the Panda with pride and honor. She was flattered by what Masamune had done for her. No one had done anything like that for her, not even her closest friends in Wang-Hu-Zhong. "Thank you." Was all she was able to say. The two happily walked away leaving the corrupt man behind to cry and whimper that his scheme was destroyed and he was humbled by some random kid, who unknowingly and ironically happened to participating in the BeyBlade World Championships representing his country.
Deeper into the evening, Masamune and Mei-Mei now found themselves at Bey Park, relaxing and laying down in the grass to enjoy themselves after a fun night spent with each other. For a while they spent some time being silent and staring at the stars above. They both clutched onto their respective Beys.
Masamune broke the silence between them with a question. "...So you guys are facing Excalibur?"
"Yes, and when we win, Wang-Hu-Zhong and Gan Gan Galaxy will have a rematch." A small smile crept on Mei-Mei's face. "You know, we really are looking forward to facing you guys again, Masamune. Wang-Hu-Zhong really wants to even the score with Gan Gan Galaxy. Especially Dashan against Gingka, and Chao-Xin against you."
"That's awesome, I totally want to battle Chao-Xin again." But Masamune realized something. The opponents Mei-Mei and her teammates were gonna be facing; Team Excalibur. "But wait, you guys do know that Excalibur is no joke, right? Me, Gingka and Yu got absolutely crushed by those guys. They're no joke. Their strength is on a whole different level then we thought."
Mei-Mei could only smile. "Don't worry, we're fully aware of how strong they are. And I'll personally promise you that we'll avenge your team's loss at the Festival Of Warriors before our teams properly have a rematch against each other."
Another silence followed after this brief conversation. Masamune couldn't help but point Striker up at the cosmos. His confidence was getting back to normal, and that was thanks in part to Mei-Mei being here with him.
"You know..." Masamune suddenly spoke up. "I really appreciate you coming all this way just to help me give my head a shake. Especially when you're dealing with your own team's important upcoming battle as well. So I just wanted to say thank you, Mei-Mei. From both me and Striker." Masamune flashed his Bey to put emphasis on the point he was making. He was back, and better than ever, and most importantly, he was ready for final battle against Wildfang tomorrow afternoon.
Mei-Mei on the other hand was happy that she had accomplished what she needed to do, and that was get Masamune's Blader spirit fired back up. "You're welcome." But more importantly to her, he was smiling again, and that's all that mattered to her. Something about seeing Masamune smile just made her feel good on the inside. Both the Beylin Temple and Gan Gan Galaxy Bladers sat up, still on the grass in Bey Park. They decided that for the rest of the night, they would just stare at the stars with each other's company. The night was still young.
As Mei-Mei clutched onto her new stuffed animal, she decided to be a little bold. She lays her head down on Masamune's shoulder, with her panda in hand. She thought about retreating, but to her surprise she felt the Striker Blader do the same thing. A small red blush crept its way onto her cheeks. The two continued to stare up into the heavens above for the time they had left with each other. Mei-Mei had made a mental note to be there tomorrow and cheer on Masamune and Gan Gan Galaxy. But that wasn't important right now. All that mattered was her and Masamune enjoying the rest of the night.
But unbeknownst to the two, someone was watching them carefully from the distance, and this someone wasn't...a very nice guy.
The following day, the sun was out and fireworks rained over the Japan Bey Stadium with a packed crowd full of fans. It was now time for the final battle between Wildfang and GanGan Galaxy.
"Alright Bey Boys and Bey Girls!" Yelled the excited Blader DJ. "This is the third round of the BeyBlade world championships! Japan's representatives, Team Gan Gan Galaxy, Vs Africa's representatives, Team Wildfang! The score is completely even, tied at one win, one loss and one draw each! The fourth and final match will decide who will go onto the A-Block finals! This is absolutely tense as both teams have half of their Bladers in pretty bad shape! There's no telling who wins and who loses here today folks!"
young Fans could be heard gossiping about their home team. "Tsubasa's in pretty bad shape right?"
"But Gingka and Yu are messed up too." Said another.
In the midst of the crowd, Mei-Mei was there, and she was ready to fully support GanGan Galaxy, especially Masamune after their time together the previous night. Go Japan, Go Masamune. You got this. She mentally told herself.
Blader DJ yelled out once again. "Who will the Bladers on each team take a ride on this challenge?! I'm crazy with anticipation!" The fans roared loudly to the top of their lungs. "Who will lead their teams into battle and win the war in the end?! Let's get to it folks!"
In the team room of Gan Gan Galaxy, everyone's eyes were glued on a Striker and Pegasus ready Gingka and Masamune. These two were ready to fight the good fight against their respective rivals on Team Wildfang.
"Alright!" Masamune excitedly spoke up. "Let's go take care of business, Gingka. We all know that this is the real final battle against Wildfang, so let's go crush Nile and Kyoya once and for all, right Gingka? Are you with me?"
The Koma Village native could only smile at his teammate's enthusiasm. "Yeah, let's go show em what we're made of Masamune." The owner of Pegasus stood up to stand side by side with Masamune. He was no where near one hundred percent, but since when has something like an injury stopped him from battling.
"Gingka/Gingky." Said Kenta and Yu in sync. Hagane had only ignored them both.
Masamune spoke up. "I'll leave Kyoya all to you. I'll have my hands full crushing Nile. I'll avenge my loss, and then it's an easy trip to the A-Block finals."
A smirk crept onto Gingka's face. "I'll try my best to decide it before that happens. This time, I'll finish things with Kyoya once and for all. Let's roll Masamune." The Striker Blader nodded in response as the two immediately headed for the door to go into the arena.
Before they could walk out the door, Kenta stopped them both. "Gingka, you can't. You fought until you were completely injured and worn out against Kyoya. Are you sure you want to risk more severe damage to yourself than ever before? What if the same thing happens to you this time like before?"
Gingka, like before only smiled with no worries whatsoever. "Chill out Kenta, I'll be just fine. Just don't worry about it, okay?"
Suddenly Madoka stepped in. "Gingka, I think you should stay close to Masamune when you get out there. We know you'll fight through the pain. But, Pegasus is an entirely different story." Gingka and Masamune were a bit curious as they saw Madoka pull out her hand held computer. "Look at this! Pegasus is worn out too, if the damage goes over ninety percent, it'll be all over for not only Pegasus, but your dreams of battling on in the World Championships. It'll be totally beyond repair, so just stay behind Striker and only attack when it's necessary to reduce any unnecessary damage to Pegasus."
Gingka tensely eyed Madoka's data on his Bey. And she was right, Pegasus's level of damage was at eighty five percent, which meant it was no where near full battle level.
Madoka continued with her serious lecturing. "The fact of the matter is this Gingka, although Pegasus is an attack type, in this condition, it's no where near ready enough for another head on battle against the wild and destructive beast like style of Kyoya and Leone. Your career and physical wellbeing as a Blader may be on the line here." The mechanic then winced and had full on worry on her face. "So please, just for today Gingka, don't try and face Kyoya head on, take a defensive stance, think outside the box, please just follow Masamune's lead just for today."
The serious atmosphere surrounding GanGan Galaxy right about now was hot enough to thaw out an avalanche and the entire North Pole. Gingka took everything into very serious consideration. But ultimately his mind was made up.
"As Kenta once said, percentage, smentage, we're going to give it our all out there and that's final, let's go Masamune."
Everybody was baffled by what he just said.
Gingka put further emphasis on his point. "Even if this battle ends my career as a Blader, I'm going and I'm giving it my best effort and that's final." He held up his Bey for Madoka to see. "And that's what Pegasus wants us to do...and because...Kyoya's waiting for me out there, so let's go Masamune. I'll see you guys out there."
After making it clear that he would go into battle, even if it was for the last time, he and Masamune finally headed for the exit of their Team room. Once they were out of there, Gingka and Masamune began heading towards the arena.
Masamune had a smile on his face. "Woah dude, you sure can walk the walk."
Gingka smiled and replied back saying, "Hmph, being a Blader is all about battling to the very end no matter the cost. Masamune, are you ready for this?"
"You bet I am." He replies.
The two GanGan Galaxy members fist bump each other as they continue their descent through the halls and towards the arena. Masamune had one person on his mind as he looked at Striker one last time before he and Gingka entered the arena.
And he knew that he couldn't disappoint her, especially after the promises he made with her last night. Just hold on Mei-Mei, GanGan Galaxy is going to meet you in the A-Block finals.
Back in the stadium, as the crowd cheered loudly for Gan Gan Galaxy, Blader DJ hyped up the battle even further to get the crowd more excited than ever before. "It doesn't seem fair, but only one of these two teams can move on to the final battle! It's time for us all to meet the Bladers that will be entrusted with the very fate of their team!"
The cameras panned on who would be battling for Team Wildfang.
"From Team Wildfang, the always hungry Lion, Kyoya! And the guy from the cool skies, Nile!"
As expected, Wildfang got an average reception from the audience with some cheers for the Japan native Kyoya, and boos for Nile and even some for Kyoya, but neither of them seemed to care much. They were just ready to put an end to their respective rivals once and for all.
"And their opponents, from our dear own Gan Gan Galaxy, Japan's ace, Gingka! And the self proclaimed number one Blader, the one, the only Masamune!"
As expected, Gingka and Masamune got an amazingly positive reception from the crowd being that this was their home country. Even Kenta, although far away cheered on his friends. And as did Mei-Mei who was on the other side of the crowd away from Kenta.
"Ha! I thought he'd show up." Nile suddenly said.
Masamune wasted no time in firing back. "Don't plan on beating me again, you got it pal!" He pointed at the owner of Horuseus. "Just know this, I'm going to beat you!"
After Masamune and Nile finished their trash talk, it was Gingka and Kyoya's turn to exchange their words of battle.
"Gingka." Said Kyoya. "This time, we settle things once and for all!"
Gingka naturally being the Blader that he was fired back at Kyoya. "Fine by me, Just hurry up and rip it already!"
The four Bladers were ready to go to war with each other one last time. The stakes were high and neither team could afford to lose here. It was now or never. There could only be one winner and there could only be one loser. Neither duo wanted anything to do with the latter of the two.
With some supporting words from their respective sidelined teammates, it was no time for the final battle to finally come to a start.
"Alright Bladers across the world, it's time to start these engines! READY!" Blader DJ and the crowd were absolutely amped up for this battle.
"Three...!" Said Nile.
"Two...!" Masamune says.
"One...!" Kyoya yells.
"Let It Ripppp!" Gingka, Masamune, Kyoya and Nile all say in sync. The four all launch their respective Beyblades into the stadium and the battle officially gets underway. The Beys all soar through the air gracefully before the all officially touch the stadium floor.
The Beys immediately begin to charge for their respective enemies with Striker wasting no time in going after Vulcan Horuseus.
"Here we go, Nileface!" Masamune yells like a warrior. "Go Striker!"
Nile doesn't seemed bothered with the only thing happening was a small grin creeping on his face. He was far too calm for Masamune's liking.
"Will the first clash be between Striker and Vulcan Horuseus?!" Said Blader DJ. "Striker is heading straight for Horuseus! It's almost as if it's like a raging freight train!"
Horuseus easily managed to escape and move safely out of the way, shocking and infuriating Masamune in the process. "Huh?" Then to everyone's surprise, Horuseus begins unleashing a relentless barrage attack against Galaxy Pegasus.
"I hope I didn't shock you boys." Gingka and Masamune turn their attention toward Nile.
"Attacking the weakest opponent here is a good call, a really good call. Horuseus!" On his master's command, Horuseus continued on with its brutal barrage attacks. Normally Pegasus would've easily been able to fight off the attack, but because of its bad shape from the Kyoya Gingka match the other day, it wasn't nearly as effective against Horuseus as it should've been. Horuseus eventually managed to overpower Pegasus and completely send it flying up in the air.
"Ahh, Pegasus!" Gingka called out to his Bey as he helplessly watched Pegasus up above.
"All that matters here is that a spot in the finals is on the line here, we can't waste a single ounce of time here." Nile's face then turned from calm and relaxed to firm and serious. "The next attack will finish you for good!"
As soon as Pegasus landed back on the battlefield, Horuseus wasted no time in going for the final attack to finish off Pegasus for good. It looked as if Wildfang had it won.
"Ugh, why you!" Masamune angrily says as he tried to come up with a plan of action.
Horuseus was closing in on Pegasus. If it takes another brutal head on collision like that it would be over. Wildfang was in good shape...
...
...
...
...
Until...
...
...
...
...
A green Bey attacked Horuseus and pushed it away, unintentionally sparing Pegasus for the time being.

...
...That Bey was Rock Leone...

...
"Huh?!" Gingka, Masamune and Nile were all shocked and turned towards a wild and almost rabid looking Kyoya.
"He's mine Nile, do you hear me?! I won't allow anyone to Rob me from this long sought out gift, understand?!" Kyoya looked almost as if he were a crazed wild animal enjoying the hunting of his prey.
"Kyoya?!" Nile was nothing less than baffled. He could've finished off Gingka and Pegasus and easily won Team Wildfang a spot against Excalibur or Wang-Hu-Zhong in the A-Block finals. He just didn't get what was running through his leader and friend's mind.
"Don't ask, just stand down right now." Kyoya orders. Ignoring Nile's pleas for him to finish off Gingka, Kyoya turns his attention to the latter. "Let's dance Gingka!"
That's just what Gingka happened to what to. And Masamune was almost as baffled at Gingka as Nile was towards Kyoya. "Yeah!" He yelled. "That's just what I wanted Kyoya!"
The two of them smile with excitement and pure thrill.
"Leone!"
"Pegasus!"
The two mentioned Beys immediately began a fearsome clash with each other on their owners commands. Neither of them were backing down from the challenge. It was all about who's Blader's spirit was shining brighter than the other. It was all about who's desire to win was bigger than the other's.
Madoka, who was standing with Yu on GanGan Galaxy Team designated platform was immediately getting stressed because Gingka was completely ignoring what she and Kenta had said to him in the team room before the match.
Even Nile pleaded with his friend Kyoya to stop risking his health even more than he had already done. "Please stop this now, Kyoya! You need to leave this fight up to me!"
Suddenly, "You should keep your head up buddy!"
"Huh?"
Nile faced forward in the direction of Masamune, who reminded him of an important fact. "Your battling against me, don't you remember?! Go Striker, send him flying right now!"
On command, Striker immediately began pushing Horuseus towards the edge of the stadium with the hopes of the stadium out. But Nile wasn't going to be bright down that easily.
Nike pointed a finger at Masamune and made a firm statement. "You can't win against me buddy, did you forget what happened the last time we met? Didn't you learn that cold hard lesson the last time we met? Or are you still the same stubborn little boy that still believes in the delusion that he's the number one Blader in the world?"
Masamune only ignored the dig. He firmly made his own statement in response to Nile. "Yeah I know I lost to you. In all my hard work trying to become number one I was almost completely crushed by you in that match. But I've got news for you pal. I got over it! My fears and worries got completely crushed thanks to a special friend of mine for giving my head a shake!"
Masamune was clearly referring to the night before where he had spent some time with Mei-Mei to ease his worries. Mei-Mei, who was in the crowd to support GanGan Galaxy, and mainly Masamune had a big blush creep up on her face. In case anybody how recognized her, she covered her cheeks to hide her shyness and embarrassment.
Masamune continued with his statement to Nile. "...Guess what Nile? Im back and it's a brand new Bey Day so heads up Nile, I'm coming for you!"
For a brief moment, Striker emitted a green aura of energy and firmly pushed Horuseus causing it to wobble uncontrollably before catching itself. Nile gritted his teeth angrily.
Masamune continued making his statement. "If I get knocked down, I'll crawl to my feet and get back up again, let's go Striker!" Masamune raised his fist in the air.
As per his command, Striker began a relentless barrage against Horuseus causing him to wobble all over the place. Striker wasn't giving Horuseus any room to breath as it kept attacking, attacking and attacking. If this went on, Masamune was sure he and Gingka would win this thing for sure.
Nile gritted his teeth once more as he watched his Bey being rag dolled by Striker. The tension between the four Bladers was real. This kind of rivalry could not be replicated by anyone. No, this was unique to Nile, Gingka Hagane, Kyoya Tatagami and Masamune Kadoya. The electricity from the crowd was absolutely unreal.
Back with Pegasus and Leone, they were still brutally clashing with each other, with neither Bey wanting to give an inch to the other. As were their respective masters, Pegasus and Leone were destined to do this with each other.
Gingka and Kyoya let out a battle loud battle cry that showed they weren't gonna go down without a fight either. They were both true warriors and Bladers at heart. The clash between the four beys just made the crowd erupt into chaos and excitement. Some fans had even begun throwing things in the crowd such as soda, popcorn, hot dogs, burgers and even posters made in support of Gingka, Masamune and the rest of Gan Gan Galaxy.
"What a great battle!" Blader DJ yells. "This battle has the crowd going absolutely bananas! It's Blader Vs Blader out there with nobody giving an inch! Striker Vs Horuseus, Leone Vs Pegasus, folks this will truly go down in history as one of the greatest BeyBlade Battles of all time! It's just as exciting, if not more exciting than the first and second matches!"
Striker continued to clash fiercely against Horuseus while Pegasus did the same with Leone. This was Turku Bey history in the making. Kyoya looked to end thots right here and now.
"Go get him now! Leone, King Lion Teari-URGH!" Just as Kyoya was calling for one of Leone's special moves, he feels a very sharp pain in his arms that cause him to fall to his knees in pain. Nile immediately took notice of this.
"Kyoya, take it easy!" He said.
"Go now Pegasus! Let's go fini-URGH!" Gingka as did Kyoya felt a nasty sharp pain in his arms and ribs that caused him as well to fall to his knees in pain. Masamune as did Nile, took immediate notice in his teammate's pain.
"Gingka, take it easy." Masamune says.
Masked Bull and Demure as well as Madoka and Yu take notice into their comrades ongoing pain as well. They were completely worried for the safety of Kyoya and Gingka.
Blader DJ continues to commentate and hype up the battle. "What is up with Gingka and Kyoya? Are they still hurting from the second match? No one would blame them if that's the case, these two warriors waged war with each other only twenty four hours prior and like the powerful warriors they are, decided to come back and finish the fight! Although both Gingka and Kyoya strongly struggle to use their special moves!"
The mentioned Bladers began fighting through the pain to get back to their feet. Neither of them would be brought down that easily. It was going to take a lot more than a little pain to bring them down. They were going to fight until one man was standing and the other one stopped spinning.
As Gingka and Kyoya both let out a loud battle cry, Pegasus and Leone continued their ferocious head on clash with each other. Both beys had their master's Will at hand so this wasn't go be some cakewalk or a stroll in the park. No, this was going to be an absolute war. Everyone's jaw dropped watching them go at it. Demure and Bull, WBBA members Hikaru and Director Ryo Hagane from their sky box, Mei-Mei and Kenta respectively in different areas of the crowd, Madoka and Yu as well. Everyone in that stadium realized that they were witnessing history in the making.
"Both Pegasus and Leone continue to clash." Said Blader DJ. "These two warriors will battle through anything on the road to victory!"
Kyoya, who was still on his knees fighting to get to his feet directs his banter towards Gingka. "It's...it's not over yet, let's go Gingka."
Gingka, like Kyoya was still fighting to get to his knees to. But he fired back at his great rival. "Yeah! Bring it on, Kyoya!"
Pegasus and Leone continued to clash fiercely at the command of their respective owners. Neither the Beys nor the Bladers wanted to lose here today.
"Both of them are nearing their limit everyone!" Blader DJ punches the air in excitement. "Who is going to run out of steam first folks?! Will it the hungry Lion on the hunt, Kyoya? Or will it be the cool dude with little attitude, Gingka?!" Both Nile and Masamune looked in awe and worry at their respective teammates.
Masamune made a statement directly to Nile. "Before that happens, I'll decide this thing here and now! Go get him Striker, send him flying right now!"
Immediately after, Striker once again began a brutal series of attacks against Horuseus. The clash was so intense you could see literal sparks flying because of the impact of the beys. Horuseus was managing to hold his own against the barrage attacks coming from Striker, but no one knew how long he would keep this up.
A small smile appeared on Nile's face as he watched his rival's bey combat his own Bey. He wasn't worried about that level of attack at all. "To weak, Kadoya!" He quickly followed this with another attack. "Flap your wings, Horuseus!" Immediately, the Bey spirit of Horus appeared and rose above Striker. Horus's immediately began firing small blasts of energy from its staff at Striker, who was quickly dodging them with its own speed. Soon a merciless look appeared on Nile. "You haven't changed one bit yet have you? You can't beat me, Masamune? When will you come to realize that?"
"Huh, is that right?" The Striker Blader fired back. "I will beat you here and now, you hear me Nile? I have friends that are waiting for me in the A-Block finals, and nothing's going to stand in my way, understand?"
"We'll see, Horuseus do it now!" Upon its master's command, Horuseus emitted a yellow and gold like aura of energy around itself.
But this didn't phase Masamune. "Don't quit now, Striker! Keep going!" Upon command, Striker charged headfirst at the glowing Horuseus. The clash was so intense and powerful that it caused an entire explosion that left behind a dust cloud. "No way, I'm not done!" Masamune intensely swatted away the smoke that was in front of him. "Here's some more power for you, Go Striker!"
Like before Striker charged at Horuseus with full force again, but like the previous clash, Striker was repelled back towards Masamune.
"Just take it easy Masamune!" Yelled Kenta from the crowd.
Madoka then chimed in. "You can't win if you attack head on! Don't just charge in. Just stay calm."
Yu had his own words for Masamune. "Don't make the same mistake you made in the last match, Masa-Mu-Mu! Think smarter!"
Mei-Mei from the other side of the stadium even had some words of encouragement for Masamune as well. "Come on Masamune, use the strategy you used to beat Chao-Xin in the first round. Just focus your energy into one!"
The Bey creature and Egyptian god of the sky, Horus appeared from Horuseus and once again began firing shots of air like energy at Striker, who was barley managing to escape them this time. Finally, one of the landed a direct hit on Striker and caused the Bey to wobble uncontrollably.
Blader DJ goes bonkers. "Boom baby! Striker has been hit hard and fast! I can't even believe this. In the first match, Striker was able to dodge those attacks with ease, but now it's a different story. What in the world is going on out there with Masamune?"
Masamune gritted his teeth and tensed hard. "No way, this is exactly how I lost to Nile the first match of this round. I let this loss get to me too much and now I'm not thinking clearly. I cannot blow this second chance. A chance my fiends worked so hard for. A chance that got Tsubasa sent to the hospital. A chance that Gingka almost destroyed himself for me to get."
Gingka realized that Masamune was intensely shaking himself and sweating. "Masamune? Are you okay?"
"Gingka!"The Pegasus Blader had almost forgotten about Kyoya, who called his name violently. The Leone Blader looked very vicious, wild and hungry...hungry for Pegasus and Gingka's defeat that is. "Don't you dare look away from me!"
Gingka had just realized that Pegasus was still in an intensive clash with Leone, who looked to finally have the upper hand in it. The Bey creature Horus continued to fire blasts of air from its staff at Striker.
"Look sharp Striker, don't get hit by those again!" Masamune shouted and commanded Striker to dodge, which it was managing to do.
Suddenly Nile spoke up. A malicious grin appeared. "So it looks like there was no need to target Gingka and Pegasus after all. I'll finish this thing right now."
Horuseus began to emit an aura of energy around itself yet again. Every single person in the arena were in awe as they knew exactly what was coming next. Masamune looked lost for words.
"Masamune, watch out!" Gingka yelled.
Masamune was sweating even more than before. He cannot lose. He could not lose, not here and not now. "I don't want to be defeated here and now...will I ever be able to win against this guy?...no...no I can't do it alone." The Ray Striker Blader began experiencing flashbacks to moments he had been with his friends.
"One two, one two."
He remembered the day that Wang-Hu-Zhong had helped him and his teammates better their teamwork with one another.
"You know...I really appreciate you coming all this way just to help me give my head a shake. Especially when you're dealing with your own team's important upcoming battle as well. So I just wanted to say thank you, Mei-Mei. From both me and Striker." Masamune flashed his Bey to put emphasis on the point he was making.
Then he flashed back to the previous night when he had spent some time with Mei-Mei. And then he thought about what Tsubasa had looked like right now at the hospital.
Then it hit him...
"Masamune!" Gingka called out.
"Gingka..." the Striker Blader called back. "That's it, I realize that now..."
While Masamune was putting his plan together, Nile was smiling as if he had the battle won for his team. "Flap your wings now, Horuseus!"
While Masamune and Nile had their thing going on, Gingka and Kyoya still had to finish their fight as well. "Let's finish this right now, Gingka!"
"No problem at all, Kyoya!"
Suddenly something big happens
...
...
...
...
...
Striker charges in and interrupts the clash of Leone and Pegasus, shocking everyone. "Gingka!" Said Masamune. "I need your power to, Okay?"
"Huh?" The Pegasus wielder was a bit confused.
Masamune explained his reasoning. "As much as it hurts to admit, I can't win against Nile with my power alone. But maybe if we can combine our strengths then maybe we can make this sucker a team battle after all."
That's when the realization had hit Gingka as well. The Pegasus Blader, like Masamune, had another flashback of his own. It was back to the aftermath of the Festival Of Warriors and when Wang-Hu-Zhong came and helped improve their teamwork.
"We will not bow to Excalibur!"
"Ganging up doesn't rule!"
"WATCH US BATTLE, WE WILL STAND AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD!"
After their brief flashbacks ended, Gingka and Masamune were truly ready to win now. The Striker Blader made a huge statement directed towards Nile. "Listen to me Nile, we will defeat you and go on to ten final round! We will win the BeyBlade World Championships and become number one! We will win for Yu and Tsubasa who are connected to us like brothers!"
Kyoya and Nile both looked annoyed.
Masamune formed a serious face. "Let's do this Gingka!"
Gingka too was getting serious about winning as well. "I understand, Masamune!"
Suddenly to everyone's confusion, Striker stopped clashing with Leone and for some odd reason began pushing Pegasus forward towards the stadium edge with full force. "Go Now!" The two happy Japan representatives said in sync. Kyoya and Nile were both caught by surprise as Striker and Pegasus jumped out of the stadium and into the air. They could do nothing but watch and wonder what the two had planned. "Here we go! It's special move time!"
"Pegasus Starbooster Attack!" The Bey creature Pegasus, the legendary horse that soared into the heavens appeared and began charging down towards the earth.
Now. It was Masamune's turn. "Striker, Lightning Sword Flash!" The Unicorn of Striker's Bey Creature appeared and charged up the purple Lightning energy on his horn. Both of the mystical creatures were preparing to attack their opposition. Madoka and Yu were amazed. Kenta and Mei-Mei too we're both in awe. Mei-Mei was secretly proud that Masamune remembered the teamwork training that she had helped him and his team with following their lost to the EU Team.
Bull and Demure both began shouting trying and hoping for a miracle to happen. More so Bull than Demure. Kyoya on the other hand looked pissed off. If they thought a pathetic double team tactic was going to bring him down, they were horribly mistaken.
"I won't allow it!" Suddenly a giant tornado appeared courtesy of Leone, and stopped Pegasus and Striker dead in their tracks.
"Woah!" Gingka and Masamune were both dumbfounded.
The tornado was strong enough to blow everyone and their beys away. But obviously that wasn't apart of Kyoya's plan. "Nile!" He said with order in his voice. "Hurry up and use Mystic Zone! The only thing we can do is bet it all on your special move. Send them flying along with me right now!"
Everyone looked at Kyoya as if he had just lost his mind. Just what in the world could he be thinking doing something like this, it just didn't seem to make sense to anyone.
Kyoya saw the hesitation on his partner's face. "Don't hesitate, do it now!"
With no other option, Nile did exactly what Kyoya had told him to do and prepped Horuseus up for its special move. "Horuseus!"
"I don't think so Nile, Pegasus!" Back in the air, a flash of blue light appeared from Pegasus as it tried its hardest to fight through Kyoya's tornado. Kyoya was straining himself to keep the power of the tornado effective to its fullest extent. And so did Gingka. These two were fighting and fighting hard.
But on the platform of GanGan Galaxy, Madoka's analysis came to a horrible conclusion. She almost did not want to even say anything. "Oh no! If those two keep this wild thing going, both Pegasus and Leone who are already past their limit will be destroyed!"
"Pegasus...!"
"Leone...!"
As Gingka and Kyoya were trying to overthrow each other, Horuseus' light was finally charged and ready to complete its goal; and Nile knew this. "Horuseus light is fully charged!" Energy touched Nile's hands as he clapped them together...it was time. "Horuseus, Mystic Zone!"
As Horuseus Wall of Mystic tags began to form, something unexpected and terrible happens...
...
...
...
...
...
...Leone's spin track cracked and as a result of that, Leone stops producing its tornado...
Once the tornado ceases to exist, Striker came barreling back down into the ground with Lightning Sword Flash and nailed Horuseus with a devastating blow which caused a massive explosion in combination with all of the power combined with Pegasus's powerful energy. The explosion emitted a blue flash that blinded everyone In attendance.
A Giant barrier of blue light formed that rose into the sky and our of the entire stadium. Just how powerful was this explosion? Everyone wanted to know.
Once the dust settled everyone looked to see who stopped spinning. The Beys that stopped spinning were
...
...
...
...
...
...Pegasus, Leone and Horuseus...
Blader DJ, who was shaken up by the massive explosion in his own right finally recovered and called this news out. "Ahhh! Pegasus, Leone and Horuseus have all stopped spinning folks!...but where in the world is Masamune's Ray Striker?!"
Masamune was only smiling confidently. He pointed a finger at exactly where his Striker was. It was dead center in the middle of the stadium safe and sound, barley spinning with what little energy it had left.
"The Winner..." Blader DJ continued. "Is Masamune Kadoya! The Victors of the third round of the BeyBlade World Championships is Gan Gan Galaxy folks! They will go onto the finals folks! Our dear own Japan representatives did it!"
Masamune excitedly throws his hand in the air. "We did it!"
The hometown crowd absolutely exploded and erupted in applause for their country's victory.
"Alright! That was awesome Masamune! You and Gingka did great!" Kenta gave his friends a round of applause.
Down at the GanGan Galaxy platform, Yu and Madoka have an huge round of applause as did the hundreds of other fans in attendance. Their run in the tournament wasn't over just yet.
Bull and Demure were in awe that Nile and Kyoya, the two strongest Bladers on their team, had just lost and been eliminated from the tournament. Even from the WBBA's private sky box, Gingka's father and WBBA assistant, Hikaru were smiling that their country's team had won in the end. Mei-Mei was happily watching on and giving a round of applause to Masamune for pulling through in the end.
Nile couldn't believe it. It seemed like a bad dream. Masamune had actually defeated him. Nile fell to his knees, defeated in front of his Horuseus Bey. "I'm so sorry, Kyoya."
Surprisingly, Kyoya wasn't all that mad about their loss. "Don't sweat it Nile, it's not your fault." He left Nile baffled.
"It wasn't?" He asked confused.
Kyoya explained his reasoning. "I'm still not quite ready yet, to truly understand the concept of beating Gingka." The BeyBlade King Of Beasts turned his attention to Gingka and actually congratulated him on beating him. "I hope you win Gingka." The Pegasus Blader was surprised. But then, Kyoya being who he was stayed true to his nature. "...Because next time, you'll lose to me!" Kyoya had a smile on his face that you would need wax to remove. "Go win it all, Gingka, Masamune. See you guys soon."
Soon after giving Gingka and Masamune their props, Kyoya humbly turned away and began to walk away towards the rest of his Team. Bull was of course crying that his dear Kyoya had lost and was eliminated from the World Championships, while Demure was more so disappointed.
Blader DJ happily commented on his country's representatives rightfully earned victory. "After overcoming one fierce battle after another, our country's very own Gan Gan Galaxy, move on...to the A-Block Finals!"
They had done it, Gingka and Masamune had fought hard and in the end their efforts payed off greatly. The two high fived each other with genuine respect and happiness for one another. They had even thanked their beys for their efforts as well. "Thanks to you as well, Pegasus/Striker." Both victorious Bladers raised their beys in the air with excitement and the full intention to celebrate this hard fought victory. Their run to the top of the world continues.
Unknown to anyone else, in the stands were two members of a very familiar team. And those two members were Sophie and Wales of Team Excalibur. Sophie, and even Wales were In absolute awe over how amazing, yet destructive battle between Africa and Japan was. On the orders of their leader, Julian, they had come to Japan to witness the battle between Gan Gan Galaxy and Wildfang to see who they'd be facing after their final match in the Third Round.
Sophie spoke up first. "That was simply a valiant effort on not only GanGan Galaxy's end, but Wildfang's end as well."
"That was wild and unruly, truly a showing of warriors." Said Wales. "So it looks like we'll be having a proper and hopefully this time, a sophisticated rematch against The Japan nobodies after we mop the floor with China's representatives."
"So it seems like Gingka and his team are far more powerful than we thought." Sophie added. "Maybe we really should've allowed them all into the Festival Of Warriors."
Wales Soon stood up and headed for the exits. "I'll let Konzern know of this right away." Sophie nodded in agreement. As Wales left to go get in contact with Julian regarding the outcome of today's battle, Sophie was there to wonder, just what would happen between Excalibur and GanGan Galaxy.
All she knew right now was that, the stage was set for future battles to take place...
A/N: Wow, it's been a long time since Ive updated my Metal Masters story, eight months to be exact... Originally I had this chapter planned for release In May or June earlier this year, but life happens you, College, Jobs, etc. Honestly I really like how this chapter turned out. Especially the character interactions with Mei-Mei and Masamune. This is no apparently the longest chapter in the story/series so far.
I didn't even notice how long it was until after I finished writing it, that's how obsessed, excited and focused I was. The Metal Saga has and will always be by far my favorite BeyBlade series. Yes, over Burst, and even the Original :)
Also, who do you guys think is the Blader that was stalking Masamune & Mei-Mei?
Anyways, for now, I'm back to writing and uploading, so keep having fun and enjoying life, and being good people! Stay tuned for more updates :)
