Karma P.O.V
Since the special entertainment that Sayuri had started back on the train, I started to wonder if the girls in our group, might actually be in love with Nagisa, everyone except for Okuda of course. ("It's clearly obvious that Kayano, Sayuri and Kanzaki, are all in love with Nagisa, with Kayano-san being the obvious one out of the three, and the one who commonly gets jealous. Sayuri-san on the other hand, is clearly the boldest out of the three, as she doesn't even hesitate on giving Nagisa affection, but she does seem to be interested on learning about Nagisa's love interest. Finally, Kanzaki-san is likely a possibility, as there's hardly any evidence to indicate that she is in love with him. However, thanks to Sayuri-san, there's now a hint that indicates that Kanzaki actually might have feelings for him. But I doubt Sayuri-san had noticed it yet, as she still believes that Kayano-san is the only girl in the class for loves Nagisa. But I'm actually surprised for how she'd reacted towards Asano's blackmail, as she'd assaulted him without care in the world... I wouldn't say she's brave when she done it, but rather a retaliation for the blackmail.") I heavily thought as I continued walking with the rest of my group. However, I couldn't help but stare at Sayuri's back.
"Something the matter Karma-kun?" I heard Okuda asked me with that concerned attitude of hers, but she most likely noticed that I was deep in thought. "Oh it's nothing, I was just wondering about what Sayuri-san had said back at the train station, it kinda surprised me really. I replied back to her along with a smirk, to which caught everyone's attention and turned to face me, including Sayuri who's now looking at me clearly unamused from what I said. "And what exactly made you surprised by it Akabane?" Sayuri asked me in a unamused attitude, to which I was quite amused by it. "Well, it's just that you'd already knew that Asano-kun's father is actually the board chairmen of the school and yet, you still assaulted him anyway. That takes guts, especially for the girl who was at the top of her class, only to lose it all after she got placed in E-Class." I replied which resulted her glaring at me, most likely for what I said at the end. But Nagisa seemed to notice this, and gotten in front of her, likely so she doesn't burst in anger.
"Sayu-chan, please... Just ignore him. He's only trying to wind you up, and by doing so, you'll be giving him what he wants." Nagisa told her in attempt to stop her from lashing out at me, and I couldn't help but smirk because of it. "Alright fine... I'll try not let him get to me Nagi-chan." Sayuri replied in defeat, and you can certainly tell those two are close. "So wait. If Sayuri-san was at the top of her class, and that she used to be in Class-B, wouldn't that make her the top student of our class?" Sugino asked, and he seems to be rather scared upon asking and is likely because of how Sayuri had the number one spot back when she was still in Class-B. But it wouldn't matter what her past ranking was, she'll still be the top of our class. "She would, as even if Sayuri-san wasn't at the top of her class, she'll still take the number one spot of our class no matter what. But still, I'm actually surprised myself Sayuri-san, I wouldn't of expected someone like you, to be the at the top of Class-B." Kanzaki replied in response to Sugino's comment, and she's right. It wouldn't matter what her ranking was while she was still in Class-B, she'll still take the number one spot of our class.
"I guess the cat is of the bag huh?" Sayuri replied along with a embarrassed laughter. "Wait Sayuri-san, you were at the top of your class?" Nagisa asked her, as he's completely shocked to hear his girlfriend was at the top of her class and likely almost into Class-A. "Yeah, that's right. I was at the top of my class back when I was still in Class-B, even to the point my test scores could of gotten me placed into Class-A. But that's when stupid daddies boy intervened when he tried to blackmail me for hurting his bitch boy, and you know what happened next, as that got placed me with you guys." Sayuri explained, and I'm not sure if she's exaggerating about having test scores that could of gotten her into Class-A, but I doubt that's the case and instead is telling the truth, consider her being the top and all.
"Well, I know I shouldn't be saying this, but at least you have Nagisa-kun back in your life, right?" Kanzaki stated which seemed to caused Nagisa's face to turn red, and I chuckled because of it. "K-Kanzaki-san?!" Nagisa said in response to Kanzaki's comment, and it seemed to caused the entire group to laugh because of it. "That's true, if I didn't do what I did, I probably wouldn't have reunited Nagisa, so I'm glad to have him back in my life while I'm still young." Sayuri stated in response to what Kanzaki had said, but wasn't even embarrassed about it which is a shame really.
Kanzaki P.O.V
"Well, I know I shouldn't be saying this, but at least you have Nagisa-kun back in your life, right?" I said to Sayuri with a smile, even though I'll likely suffer the consequences from it. "K-Kanzaki-san?!" Nagisa called out my name immediately after my comment, and when I turned to face him, his entire face was completely red and Karma started laughing because of it. ("Did I just embarrassed Nagisa-kun?") I instantly thought immediately after seeing Nagisa's blushing face, and I kinda felt bad about it as I didn't mean to embarrass him or anyone for that matter. "That's true, if I didn't do what I did, I probably wouldn't have reunited Nagisa, so I'm glad to have him back in my life while I'm still young." Sayuri replied back to me, and when I turned to face her, hoping that I didn't embarrassed her as well. She was blushing, but only a little, and I wouldn't say it was entirely from my comment, but to what she had said. "Sayu-chan..." Nagisa called out Sayuri's nickname that
Nagisa called out Sayuri by the nickname that he'd given her back when they were younger in a soft attitude, and it kinda made me a little jealous because of it, as I've been wanting for Nagisa to start calling me by my first name for awhile now, but I couldn't bring myself to tell him. ("I've always wanted to tell Nagisa to start calling me by my actual name, even before we had Korosensei and while we still had Yukimura-sensei. But I just couldn't bring myself to tell him, as it's not because I don't want to make things complicated between us. But it's because I love him for who he is, and seeing the way he interacts with Sayuri, makes me envy Sayuri as I wish it was me instead and not only that, they both call each other by nicknames at times and I wouldn't mind if Nagisa called me Yuki for short.") I thought while I stared at Sayuri.
Later
At the Arcade
After spending the entire day trying to kill Korosensei, we'd decided head to a nearby arcade and after awhile, everyone decided to watch me play instead due to how amazing they thought I was, but this is only because of all times I chose to spend my time at the arcade than study. "Whoa! Just look at you go Kanzaki-san, your truly amazing at these games!" Sugino praised me due to my gaming skills, and I couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed from the praise I'm getting as this is nothing special really. "Thank you Sugino-kun, but this is nothing special really, as I just had a lot of practice and free time." I replied with a smile while I continued to focus on the game I'm playing. "Do you think this arcade might have Dance, Dance Revolution? Because, I'm really good at it, and I wouldn't mind showing you guys how brilliant I am on it." Once I heard Sayuri's question, I was quite surprised by it, as not only is Dance, Dance Revolution is one of my favourite games, but I got the feeling that she might wanna see if I was good at it or not.
"I'm pretty sure they do. Usually, a arcade would have three or more, so I'm willing to bet there is one around here. But, this might surprise you all, and I'm even kinda embarrass to admit this. But, Dance, Dance Revolution is actually one of my favourite games, as I simply love listening to music when I dance, so I'm pretty good at the game myself." I replied back to Sayuri's question and as expected, what I'd said pretty much surprised everyone. "Are you serious Kanzaki-san? You love dancing?" Sugino asked in complete shock and out of everyone in the group, Sugino is the one who's the most surprised by it. "Well, yeah? It's just that whenever I'm at home and whenever I start listening to music, I'll sometimes would dance to it, or even start singing along with it. However, when it comes to Dance, Dance Revolution, I don't start singing along as it'll be too embarrassing for me to do so, and it would mean I can't focus on the game properly. I explained in response to Sugino's question, and it seemed of caused everyone to become even more surprised by this, and I don't blame them to be honest.
"I'm actually quite surprised by it myself Kanzaki-san, as I wouldn't figured that you would play games like Dance Dance Revolution. But I'm even more surprised that you said that you even loved to sing, as I always thought you might've disliked it." Nagisa commented in response to what I had said, but after hearing his comment, I couldn't but feel a little embarrassed to the point I'd even started blushing from it. "To be honest Nagisa, I don't really blame you for thinking that, and there's actually a real good reason for how I'm this good when it comes to arcade games. But I'm kinda scared telling you what it is, as I've been keeping it a secret from everyone, and it's what got me into Class-E in the first place." I replied back to him softly, and I honestly have no idea why'd I decided to tell him, unless it's because of the feelings I have for him.
"Huh, who would of thought that Yukiko-san can be a such a lazybone. Well, I can relate to that, as this stupid school of ours is stressing enough as it is, to the point I feel like I need to go somewhere and blow some steam." Sayuri replied in response to what I'd said, and even through she giggled at first while saying it, the rest of her reply greatly surprised me to the point I went silent and my eyes widened as did she figured out what my secret was? "How... How did you know... How did you know a part of my secret was?" I replied softly and quietly, to the point I was so worried that Sayuri may use this against me, but she then she suddenly sighed. "Yukiko, I don't know what your secret is and personally, I don't want to know, as that's yours to keep and it's up to you decide whether you want to tell us or not. I was just following the facts from what you'd told us, and I know there's more to the story for how and why you were placed in E-Class. If it's because of stress, then it's understandable, as stress can do that to you." Sayuri replied before anyone else could, and it was a big relief really, as not only did Sayuri comforted me, but she knew it was stress and the lazybone part was likely a small joke. "Thank you Sayuri-san. Thank you for telling me, as it really was comforting, and you really are intelligent, and Nagisa-kun is lucky to have you." I replied back to her along with a smile, but I noticed she blush slightly from it, and is likely because of the compliment I'd given her
