AN: Okay so…uh, I have been dealing with my jaw for the last week and a half. I'm having oral surgery tomorrow so I'm going to post this now. I know I'm really inconsistent with this but RL is a bitch.

I am trying to post once a week though and I need to finish editing a Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity fic to.

Enjoy!

Turning on the webcamera, Ichigo smiled at his friends as they all appeared in their own chat windows. "I'm hoping that it's not horribly late there," he said even as he checked the time. It was just after eight PM on a Saturday for him, making it one on Sunday for their friends. Sado was sitting next to him, and they both sat back, adjusting the microphone that they had closer to themselves. "How is everything going on over there? How's dad?" he asked.

"Isshin is about normal and preparing to return to Paris," Uryu said, as he adjusted his headset. The sound of a door closing filtering as he shifted. "Otherwise things are normal. I am at the Karakura University Library at the moment, using one of their privacy rooms. I have to work on some of the essays that are due soon. And while I love everyone, I do have some need of peace."

"It also helps that the library was willing to open up to high school students so you have more book options to use," Mizuiro teased as Keigo snickered next to him, nodding his head. "But so far, as Uryu said, nothing has been out of the normal. The Vizards have picked up the later night patrols with you gone, while the Shinigami who have come around have made sure that there wasn't any worrying shifts," he stated, waving a hand. "Our main contact has been around a few times to talk about the routes that you took and found were the best to watch. Mostly where the Hollows like to hang around here."

"I take it that you gave her a map of all of the small shrines and the two larger shrines to keep an eye on?" Sado asked, Keigo nodding his head.

"Yeah. We even took her to a few of 'em to. Told her the history and legends behind them and why they attract the hollows. Since the houses that they all sit in front of are a part of them, the spiritual imprint is still strong within the houses and going through the motions. I still swear that there is someone actually stuck in Shou-in house," he huffed. He ate a bit of popcorn, notebook set up on one knee as he did something off screen. "I don't dare go in there without really strong back up though. Would probably be a bad idea."

Rukia picked up her tea. "There is someone there," she stated as she looked up from the paperwork that she was working her way through as she sipped her tea. "When I was first in the Living World to work with Ichigo, I went and visited the house with Urahara. I talked with the woman I found. She was bound to the site by force to her bones. She had been murdered and the person that did the killing placed her there. The betrayal bound her chain to her body and that's why she's still a plus instead of a Hollow two hundred years later. We found out who owns the house and I have a meeting with them to get someone with a handheld X-Ray machine. Urahara has one and he's going to try to use it to find her bones since she doesn't know where she was put," she said.

Keigo hummed. "Maybe I can talk to her? The owner that is. I know the sister who you're probably meeting with. That sounds like when her ancestors sister disappeared three days before she was to marry someone. I know that the sister had been absolutely pissed at having to take her place but they had ended up happy. The sister though had been courting a noble who had turned out to be a serial killer," he said, shrugging at the looks he got. "What? I like history and she was willing to tell me all of the confirmed history that came with the house. She's willing to talk about it with others as long as she knows you're connected to friends. Her mum was a friend to our mum."

"I swear that your family have some strange ass friends," Ichigo said, shaking his head. "When we come over to visit this summer, I might want to go into the house though. It does small tours every so often if I remember right to help pay for upkeep."

"I think we could all do it," Orihime chirped, smiling brightly as she grabbed Tastuki's arm. She beamed up at the other woman. "It will be fun. If not sad."

"When did you two make your twosome a threesome?" Sado asked Uryu. The other male blushed and cleared his throat.

"When I found out that I do not have all of the parts that will make my girlfriend happy with our sex life just as she does not have all the parts that will fulfil all of my needs," Uryu stated, his blush deepening. "Anyways, do tell us, how are things in Paris?"

Ichigo blew out a breath, rubbing at his face as he frowned. "We've met with the heroes around here. Got them to talk with each other finally. I met a girl named Chloe. She has the lingering magic of the Bee around her which means that she was indeed the hero named Queen Bee before she had that break down. And it really was a breakdown due to her issues with her parents and what everyone thought of her. She has seemed to have grown up quite a bit in the last year," he mused.

"I have seen her hang out with the girl named Juleka, Luka-san's sister," Sado rumbled. "I have spoken to Luka-san a few times since he's in the online classes via the Rose due to his new work with his father." Ichigo tilted his head, curious about that. "Jagged Stone is their father. He and Juleka are twins and Jagged is their father from when their mother had a fling with him. After Luka-san was removed from Kitty Section because of the lies of that girl, he joined his father in learning what it means to be a rock star. He's my connection for the musical side of things for my graduation project."

"Oh," Ichigo mused, nodding as he turned back to the group, shifting his seat. "We know who they are behind the masks but we're not due to tell them that we know until after we've gone to Tibet according to what Jushiro-san said. Which we will be doing in three days so we will not be able to do our usual video calls while we're there," he warned them.

"It's good timing actually since we're coming up on mid-terms," Uryu drawled. The reminder made Orihime and Tatsuki groan, Keigo melting into his chair and muttering about all the studying that they were stuck doing while Mizuiro shook his head.

"I take it that you will end up speaking with Papillion and his partner during that time?" Mizuiro asked. Ichigo nodded in return.

"Yeah. It was quite the shock to find out who the man behind the mask the way we did. The very fact that it is one of our kohei's father just makes it even more mind boggling but does answer some questions," Ichigo hummed. "But he has been backing off on the Akumazations and the such since Marinette-chan came under his wing as an intern after his son told him all about what was going on with her."

"We're also going to work out how to deal with that one girl," Sado stated, shaking his head. "We have seen that a spirit is following her around, bound by her emotions and sadness. We're actually hoping to talk to her and see what could be done to get her to pass over before she loses herself completely. But we do understand why she hasn't yet."

"What happened to have her stick to one person?" Rukia asked, leaning forward.

Ichigo blew out a breath. "Mind you, this is what we could find out from what information the girl was able to give us when we were close to Rossi before she had to leave," Ichigo warned her. "We just happened to be in one of the cafes that Rossi and her group were. Just long enough for the girl to tell us her name, what newspapers to find her information in and that the things that Rossi's has done here is not the first time that she's done it before. From the articles and witness statements, she went from well loved and popular to betrayed. It got so bad for her that she ran away after the last straw and accidentally out into the front of a vehicle, dying from being tossed so far and hard. Rossi was shipped out to her mother soon after, her father giving some line about her needing to be with family. I think he was thinking that getting her out of the area would allow her to work on her mental bullshittery."

"By the sounds of it, it didn't help," Mizuiro said. Ichigo shook his head. "It just gave her a new place to sink her claws into the people and continue what she wanted to do. My, what a horrible way to leave this Earth and get stuck. Hopefully you'll be able to get her to pass over in the end."

"We hope so to," Sado grunted, shifting in his seat.

"I know that it'll take some time, but we also need to deal with that damn Senti-Monster that is in the temple and make sure that the Guardians know that they are to stop treating the Miraculouses and the Kwami as their own personal power sources. That the Kwami are the children of Reio-sama, not matter how they came to be, and that They will be most displeased if they try to stop the boxes from going where they need to go." Ichigo's eyes turned to the black folder that had red borders all along it, a wax seal holding it closed with red cords that had come from the Reiokyu court. "Reio-sama has felt something shift, so we do need to work on getting everything settled and ready for the possibility of a dangerous war against a very pissed off Ex-Kwami out to destroy us all," he sighed.

His friends all shared grim looks, knowing just what he was and was not saying. Everyone, including those humans who were connected to the spiritual world, even if they didn't know what was going on, had gotten that feeling. And those who had known had gotten the same letters as Ichigo had.

Now it was up to Ichigo to help Marinette and Adrien to figure things out before war came to their doorsteps.
